JAMES POTTER MASTERLIST
Date nights were extremely important to James. Since Henry's birth, he was adamant that his alone time with you was something he didn't want to neglect, even if there was a child in the picture.
Now that Henry was nine, convincing Sirius and Remus to babysit wasn't hard. Especially since they would bring their four year old, Cassiopeia, with them and Henry would graciously play her while you and James went out.
Tonight's date isn't any different than the others, except that you're a bundle of jumping nerves. It certainly doesn't help that James looks positively stunning with his dark hair slicked back, a few loose curls arrayed across his forehead, and his dark suit, which conveniently matches the velvet navy dress you're wearing.
The restaurant is fancy. It's James's favorite and you secretly think one of the reasons is he likes showing you how much he can spoil you, as if he hadn't been doing just that for the past thirteen years. He'd ordered this fancy appetizer, along with some wine you haven't touched and was currently talking about work. Taking over his father's company was putting some stress on him, which you understood.
"You know, I can't wait till Harry starts school, not that I won't miss the little bugger," James chuckles behind his wine glass, his mind wandering, "but because we'll have more time. Just us."
His words cause your stomach to sink. How are you supposed to tell him now, you think. James, always observant to your emotions, frowns when he sees your expression.
"You okay, you look like you're going to be sick—"
As he speaks, the nausea hits you hard and you stand, holding a hand over your mouth as you rush to the nearest bathroom without any warning. You clumsily throw yourself on the ground, vomiting into the toilet and you choke on an embarrassed sob.
James is hot on your heels the moment you leave dinner so abruptly, running into the women's bathroom without a care in the world. The older women, who'd been mildly appalled by your vomiting, send him some dirty looks but he doesn't pay them any mind as he opens the stall. He kneels next to you, gently gathering your hair in his hand as he uses the other one to rub soothing circles on your back.
"Hey, my love, what happened?" He asks between soothing words, his hand strokes your hair as you slump against him, tears glistening in your waterline.
Your husband isn't stupid and he knows you. He looks into your eyes and he understands instantly. His breath hitches as he remembers just how bad your 'morning' sickness was when you were pregnant with Henry, lasting and becoming even worse in the evenings. His gaze softens instantly and clicks his tongue. "Why didn't you tell me?" he scolds half-heartedly, still rubbing soothing circles on your back.
You sniffle, wiping your mouth with an enormous amount of toilet-paper as you whimper, "I felt like I was going to disappoint you, you seemed so happy for time alone and—"
"And now we are going to have another baby," James finishes for you, kissing your temple as he helps you up and brings you to the sink. He pushes hair behind your face as he gently takes some paper-towel, wets it, and gently runs it under your chin and around your mouth. You look miserable and his heart breaks.
He doesn't say anything for a moment as he washes your hands, washing his in the process as well. Your mind races. You don't know what to think, what to feel about this new life growing inside you.
He places his large palm on your stomach. You're not showing, yet. You flinch, sniffing. "Why so sad, love?" he whispers as he tries to comfort you.
"You're upset," you whisper, looking at your appearance in the mirror. You look like a mess.
James grins. "Says who?" He laughs and presses a kiss to your forehead again.
You look on the verge of tears again and your husband's smile falters. He leans down, catching your gaze so you're looking at him properly. "Hey, love, please don't cry okay? I'm not upset, I promise. I'm happy. So so happy, really," James reassures you, a familiar glint of sincerity in his eyes. "We are having another baby. This is the best news, okay?"
Tension eases in your shoulders and you finally relax. The warm feeling of happiness seeps back into you. You sniff again, looking into his eyes. "Promise?"
He straightens himself and holds out his pinky for you to take. "I pinky promise." You hook your pinky with his and he leans down, kissing his closed fist. You hesitate, finally cracking a small smile as you do the same.
"Excuse me? This is the ladies room," a snark voice calls from behind you both and you look towards the voice. A woman is standing tensely in the doorway, gripping the hand of her young daughter, and she's glaring daggers at James.
The little girl looks confused and she's clearly feeling the fear her mother is and you can tell from James's expression he feels bad.
"Sorry." He waves his hands in the air, his cheeks dusted pink, as he points to you, "My wife was sick—I was just leaving—" James looks your way and mouths, "You coming?"
You nod, taking his hand, as he leads you out the door. You mumble a small apology to the woman and James sends a small reading smile to the girl, hoping not to scare her.
Once your back at your table, James gulps down his wine and looks at you sheepishly. "Oops," he mutters. You smile and cover your giggles. James's smile widens when you laugh and he reaches over, resting his hand over yours.
"Seriously, baby," he says, seriously now, "I'm really happy. And Henry will be happy too."
You rub your temples, taming some of the wisps of hair that fall in front of your eyes. "Yeah? You think so?"
James laughs, "No. He's gonna be furious," he pauses when he sees that his joke isn't landing and he squeezes your hand. "I'm joking. He'll be the best big brother. He's already so good with Cassi, he's practically an older brother already."
You smile. "He is, isn't he?"
James hums, that giddy smile of his returning. "Pregnant. Again," he muses, "I can't believe how lucky I am," he says and looks at you like you're the brightest star in the universe. You feel your cheeks warm. "I love you."
"I love you more," you say back, bringing his knuckles to your lips.
James grins and when he catches glimpse of your untouched wine glass, a smirk curls his lips and shake his head, clicking his tongue. "Can't drink this, baby," he teases you and slides it over to his side. You roll your eyes.
"I wasn't," you argue playfully.
"Hmm?"
You swat his hand, knowing he's teasing you on purpose to lighten the mood. Still, your nerves have calmed and you aren't feeling as nauseous anymore. In fact, you can finally truly feel excited now. Another baby. You smile.
Once the food arrives and the topic of conversation had changed to James excitedly coming up with new baby names, you feel at ease again and warmth spreads in your stomach.
You move your foot under the table, gently touching James's ankle—just to let him know you love him. James doesn't mention it but his smile widens as he speaks, a look of adoration and love sparkling in his eyes.

runaway bride | charles leclerc
synopsis: in which he saves you from making a mistake
a/n: based on this request!
my masterlist
The soft music echoed through the church hall, making you let out a deep breath.
There you stood, in front of the huge double oak doors, waiting for the moment to finally walk down the aisle and marry Aiden, your boyfriend of 2 years.
After you had broken up with Charles, you didn't think you would ever find the same kind of love again. The bond that you shared with the Monegasque was something so strong and beautiful, you thought it was for life.
Then, you met Aiden.
He was sweet, kind, understanding, loving. He was an incredible guy, a guy who took care of you, who respected you and who made sure you were safe and taken care of.
However, deep into your heart, you knew the truth that nobody could ever change: he wasn't Charles.
He didn't make you feel the same things that Charles could, he didn't make you feel alive, like every fiber of your being was on fire, he wasn't as passionate and intense as Charles was.
He was just...Aiden.
But you felt comfort that you hadn't felt in a long time, which was the primary reason why you had accepted his proposal. He offered you safety, offered you comfort and stability.
You would learn how to truly love him down the line.
Or so you tried to convince yourself whenever you would get cold feet about going through with the wedding.
"Are you ready?" your father's voice suddenly pulled you back to reality, the oak doors now open, the entire hall looking at the two of you.
You smiled tightly and nodded, looping your arm through his as you slowly started walking towards the aisle.
Watching all the guests around you, a sort of guilt settled deep inside of your gut.
All these people, all of your families having gathered here today to watch you and Aiden get married, watching you supposedly seal your fate and look to a 'happy' future with him.
Not knowing that, deep inside, you knew it was anything but that.
Upon reaching the altar, your father gave you away to Aiden, who took your hand and helped you up the steps.
"You look beautiful" he whispered, his eyes twinkling.
You smiled, trying to make it look as natural as possible.
He didn't deserve this, you knew that. He deserved to be getting married to someone who truly loved him, who wanted him just as much as he wanted you.
But that person wasn't you, and it was probably very selfish of you to go through with the wedding while knowing that your heart belonged to someone else.
What choice did you have, though?
All of these people, your entire families, waiting for this day for months. Aiden, finally happy to have found his one true love.
How could you possibly ruin that?
"Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to the wedding of Y/N Y/LN and Aiden Becker" the bishop started, prompting the entire wedding hall to sit down and listen with eager.
You didn't hear anything else after that, your feelings all over the place as you looked anywhere but Aiden's eyes.
The church was silent, all oblivious to the internal turmoil you were having before their eyes. Your mother couldn't keep her eyes off of you, and once you had made eye contact with her, you could have sworn that she nodded slightly, a look of understanding in her eyes.
She knew, probably better than anyone, about your conflicting feelings for both Aiden and Charles. She knew how hard it was for you when you and Charles broke up, and she knew that Aiden would never measure up to the way Charles made you feel. She was your mother, after all. She knew you better than anyone.
Out of the corner of your eye, suddenly, you saw movement at the far end of the room, right by the big oak doors you had walked through mere moments before.
Your heart started beating out of your chest as you saw who it was.
Him.
He was standing there in a clad black Ferrari suit, his hands in his pockets, not moving an inch.
Your eyes widened slightly, fixated on his figure standing a mere few feet away from you. He didn't make any move to walk closer, to actually enter the church hall.
He just stood there, his eyes widening in awe as he took you in, tears slowly welling up in his eyes.
Your stomach was in shambles as you couldn't tear your eyes away from him. He was just as beautiful as you had remembered, his eyes just as kind as they used to be.
All kinds of emotions were running through you, making your head spin and your nerves go into overdrive.
Why did he do this? Why did he show up on what was supposed to be the happiest day of your life? Why did he have to show up at your wedding?
Maybe because he knew you would leave Aiden behind and run to him, you thought to yourself.
"Y/N? Is everything okay?" the priest's voice suddenly made you whip your head around.
The entire hall was staring at you, Aiden looked concerned and was looking at you with a worried expression, and nobody had seemed to have seen Charles standing right outside the doors.
"I, um, I..." you croaked, not being able to find your words.
You looked around once again, Charles' figure giving you a sad smile before he slowly began to retreat, up until he was now out of sight.
Desperately searching for a sign on what to do, your eyes gravitated towards your mother, hoping you would be able to communicate with her through your eyes.
And there she was, smiling subtly at you, her eyes sparkling as she gave you a very tiny nod.
That was all the confirmation that you had needed.
You looked back at Aiden, who had an expression like he knew exactly what was about to happen and he knew it had been a long time coming.
"I'm so sorry, Aiden" you whispered, slowly letting go of his hands before you sprinted out of the church hall, leaving behind you dozens of shocked guests.
You quickly ran out of the church, bursting through the front doors and stepping out into the warm summer day.
And then, there he was.
Leaning against his car right in front of the church, his hands crossed against his chest.
And he was smiling.
For a little while, neither of you knew what to say. You had just left your future husband at the altar for him, and he had just shown up at his ex-girlfriend's wedding.
What could a person even say in this situation?
"What are you doing here?" that was the best you could muster up, your voice not louder than a soft whisper.
Charles could only imagine how you must be feeling.
Years after you guys broke up, on the happiest day of your new life, he decides to show up. He knew it was going to be a very long shot, and he was aware that it was extremely rude of him to be showing up at your wedding.
But he couldn't help himself.
He couldn't bear the thought of ever seeing you married to someone else, someone who wasn't him.
Just like he couldn't bear not being with you any longer.
"I couldn't let you go through with the wedding" he said, his expression now somber.
He knew he was already pushing his luck, but he had already ruined your wedding. What more harm could he do?
Dozens of emotions were cursing through your veins, some of which you couldn't even identify.
Hurt? Anger? Disbelief? Disappointment in yourself? Longing for what you once had with Charles? Guilt over a thrown-away future with a great man?
But even in the midst of all the confusing emotions, there was one that stood out between the sea of doubt, clear like a new day.
Your unwavering love for Charles.
A feeling that has not changed from the beginning.
"Why now?" you whispered, your shoulders sagging in defeat.
There was no point in trying to act like you weren't so glad to see him, like your heart wasn't beating out of your chest as you stood in front of him, like you weren't dying to be in his arms after such a long time.
Charles sighed and pushed himself off the car, taking a few steps closer to you until he was almost chest-to-chest with you.
Your breath hitched as you felt the warmth of his body against yours for the first time in years. You had missed it so much, so much more than you had ever admitted to yourself.
"I've spent the past couple of years kicking myself for making the mistake of pushing you away from me. I've never forgiven myself for the way our relationship ended, and I don't think I'll ever be able to put into words just how sorry I am. The moment I found out you were marrying someone else, I couldn't not do anything. I know I sound selfish, and I know it's not fair of me to barge in like this, but if there was even a tiny chance that you might still feel the same way about me, I had to take it" he said, and as you stared into his eyes, you couldn't see even a sign of dishonesty.
He was being real, he was being brutally honest, probably more honest than he had ever been with you before.
And he was completely right, which was probably the worst thing about the whole situation. He was right, you did still love him just as deeply as you had before. And deep down, you probably had hoped that he would show up and save you from making a mistake by marrying Aiden.
"You've always had a flair for the dramatic, you know" you said, hoping the joke would lighten up the atmosphere.
Charles chuckled, nodding his head. He looked up at you again, his eyes sparkling with a sliver of hope.
"Do you want to go somewhere quiet and talk about this?" he asked, a deeper, hidden meaning planted behind his words.
You drew in a breath, but didn't feel any pain or heaviness in your chest. All you felt was peace, peace and love for the man standing right before you.
"Yeah, I'd like that" you said, smiling before giving him your hand, which he gladly took.
And that's how you found yourself sitting in the passenger seat of his Ferrari, his hand tightly holding onto yours, driving away from the church and ceremony that was supposed to change your life.
But why change it when you had everything you had ever wanted for, right in this car?

IT'S OKAY, WE'RE OKAY, WE ARE DEFINITELY NOT OKAY JUJU WATKINS x READER
Summary: After the losing game against Iowa, you and juju get into a nasty argument that leads to your teammates separating the both of you.
Warning: Angst Angst Angst, swearing, throwing shit around, bad juju and reader
Authors note: The match was something, so that is why we get angst for times like this, anyways happy reading feedback and requests are always appreciated 💕.
Tension within the team was high no one said a word as everyone entered inside the bus. All you wanted to do was sit down next to your girl and comfort each other, but that was a no brainer as she passed by and ignored you.
Her ignoring you kinda hurt but you weren't gonna push past it. You tried sending her texts only for her to swipe them each time, you saw her groan turning off her phone.
A pit was forming down your stomach but you ignored the feeling like a fool.
You knew the type of player juju was when things don't go the way they were supposed to. Right now with the loss she was definitely beating herself up over it. no one likes to lose, especially to a team that wears the ugliest shade of yellow.
Arriving at the hotel felt like you were about to step into a battle zone. Once again you tried getting juju's attention by grabbing her hands, but all she did was yank her hands away from yours like you were some insects coming to disturb her.
You tried one last time by tapping her shoulder until she finally snapped at you, raising her voice, something that she's never does always trying her best to be calm with you.
"Bro what the fuck do you want can you not get the hint that maybe I do not want to deal with your shit tonight". You heard her say which was shocking. Because she never had an outburst likes this not even infront of your teammates or others, so her doing this just made you feel like an attention seeker which made you embarrassed.
"First off, watch how you're talking to me because I do not curse at you whatsoever and all I was trying to do was comfort my teammate who thinks the whole world is on her shoulders when the team has a few bad games but it fuck me right?." You said to her.
a few of your teammates who hadn't head upstairs came to where you and juju trying to calm things down, but that only made things escalate.
"Wow this coming from the player that left the 3 pointer line all wide fucking open and probably cost us the game". The moments those words came out of juju mouth she insanely regretted them but it was to late because you already heard them.
"I'm so sorry that not everyone can be there own fucking Judea watkins that's oh so prefect". You threw back at her tears clearly streaming down your face
It was too late for juju to say anything as kiki and Ray came separating the both of you.
The looks from your coaches were equally heartbreaking because no one wants to witness their best players tearing each other to threads.
A wave of guilt filled juju as everything she said to you hit her like a brick stone she was obviously in her head and wasn't thinking at all but the damage was already done. She made you cry and hurt you're feelings what type of girlfriend and teammate was she?. Was all she wondered now.
You we're already walking off with kiki.
She tried saying something but was cut off by one of the coaches who told her not to.
"It not worth it juju just head back upstairs, we'll be having a serious talking about both of your behaviors ray please help juju up to her room". she heard coach say, heading back the other way with ray, head facing down has she pulled her hoodie strings ashamed of how she acted.
What she didn't see was the way you turned around, hoping for her to say something at all it could've been anything but she didn't.
Only leaving both of you to sleep with heavy hearts having a thin wall separating you once more, you guys were definitely not okay and no one was okay.

FOR THE BEST MOM
Lewis Hamilton X Wife!fem!reader
Summary: When Lewis and Y/n have already lost two babies during pregnancy, but he never fails to send her flowers on Mother's Day and reminds her that even without them there, she is a good mother.
Words: 3K+
Warnings: Mention of pregnancy loss, mention of child loss, anguish, anguish, and anguish until the end. But Lew is a good husband, and this will make you cry.
Author: English is not my first language, so apologies for any spelling, grammar and slang mistakes that may be in the story. And this story leaves me COMPLETELY speechless, I don't know why I wrote it, but I needed some anguish. Sorry, and grab some tissues.
MASTERLIST
⚠️SENSITIVE CONTENT⚠️
The love between Y/n and Lewis was always strong, built on complicity, respect and admiration. They were partners in everything, in joys and challenges, in moments of lightness and in those of greater weight. Just as they had promised on their wedding day.
Every shared laugh and every silent touch carried a deep meaning. They had each other, and that was always enough. At least, that's what they tried to believe.
The day they discovered their first pregnancy was one of the happiest of their lives. Y/n was in shock for a few seconds before letting happiness flood her. Lewis, upon hearing the news, felt a wave of emotion take over his body. Tears came before he could even contain them. He lifted her into the air, spinning her around carefully, his chest exploding with joy. Every kiss he placed on her face was a silent thank you for that gift.
They spent the next few days daydreaming. They imagined what it would be like to hold the baby for the first time, how they would decorate the room, what traits they would inherit from each other. Life seemed even more colorful, full of new promises.
But then, it all came crashing down.
Shortly after, Y/n started to feel unwell. At first, she tried to ignore it, believing it was something temporary.
But then the doctors broke the news, and it came as a brutal blow. The silence in the room felt overwhelming, and the air became too heavy to breathe. All the happiness, dreams, and plans they had made were gone in an instant.
The next few days were cloudy. Y'n felt like the world around her was spinning in slow motion as Lewis tried to be her stronghold. But at night, when she fell asleep, he would let the tears flow silently.
A year later, a new positive test. The fear was still there, haunting them both, but there was also hope. The rainbow baby they had wanted so much was finally on the way. They decided to celebrate, even though deep down they held on to happiness with caution,
But once again, pain struck them.
The second loss was even worse. There were no more words of comfort that could fill the void. The silence became more frequent, the conversations about the future with children diminished, and the pain settled between them like a constant presence.
Years passed, and the subject of 'having children' ceased to be mentioned. They moved on with their lives, still in love, still partners, but with the feeling that two pieces of their hearts were missing.
And the flowers arrived.
On the first Mother's Day after the second loss, Y/n noticed the bouquet of flowers left on the table. She hadn't connected it with the fact that it was Mother's Day. It was just a silent gesture from Lewis, a tribute he made without expecting any reaction. But it made her smile and thank her husband for the beautiful flowers.
The following year, he repeated the gesture, but this time he added a note. When Y/n found the small piece of paper among the petals, Lewis's words made tears fall before she could control them.
'To the best mommy our little ones could ever have. I know they're not here physically, but I believe they feel all your love. And I feel it too. You're amazing, Y/n. You always will be.'
She cried until Lewis got home. And when he found her clutching the note to her chest, all he could do was wrap his arms around her and hold her tight.
The years continued to pass, and with them, flowers became tradition.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
3 years after the second loss.
It was Mother’s Day, and Lewis wasn’t in town. He wanted to be with Y/n and her mother, to hold her in his arms and remind her that she was never alone. But his running that weekend kept him from going home.
Y/n spent the day with her mother, having lunch together, talking about everything and nothing at the same time. But, even surrounded by love, there was an emptiness that persisted, a feeling of longing for something that never came to be.
On the way home, as she drove through the quiet city streets, one of her favorite songs played on the dashboard of her car. The sound brought comfort, but the tears came before she could stop them.
They fell silently, aimlessly, without her really noticing until she had to wipe them away with the back of her hand. She sighed deeply, trying to push away the thoughts that haunted her.
When he reached the garage, he turned off the car and stood there for a moment, taking a deep breath. Gathering his strength. When he opened the front door, the low sound of Roscoe's snoring in the living room filled the silence. A soft laugh escaped his lips, mixed with the tears that still insisted on falling.
Before she could close the door, a voice called her name. She turned around and saw the doorman of the condominium approaching with a gentle smile.
"Good evening, Mrs. Hamilton."
Y/n walked down the steps and shook the older man's hand affectionately. "Good night!"
The doorman then held out a bouquet to her, a beautiful arrangement of lilies and white roses. "Mr. Hamilton asked me to deliver this to you. I forgot about it when you came through the gate just now."
Y/n blinked in surprise. She took the bouquet delicately, feeling the soft scent of the flowers fill the air. "Thank you" She said with a small but sincere smile.
The man nodded and returned to his post, while Y/n hurriedly climbed the front stairs of the house.
As soon as she entered the house, she walked to the kitchen, placing the flowers on the table before carefully removing the note stuck between the petals. Her hands trembled slightly as she unfolded the paper.
'To the best mom in the world.
I know today is a difficult day, and I wish I could be by your side, to hold your hand and tell you that you were never alone on this journey. You will always be the mother of our little ones, no matter where they are. I know that if they could, they would tell you how much they love you and how proud they are of you. I know I am.
You are the strongest, most incredible woman I know, and my heart will always be yours. Forever. All my love, Lewis.'
The tears came before she could stop them. But this time, they were not tears of sadness, but of love.
She ran her fingers over the words, taking each one in. That man. That man always knew exactly what to say, even from far away.
Quickly drying her tears, she took out her cell phone and took a photo of the bouquet, sending it to Lewis with a short but sentimental message.
Before locking the screen, he read the note once more, a small but genuine smile dancing on his lips.
Lewis always found a way to remind her that even in the quietest, most painful moments, she was never alone.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
4 years after the second loss.
Mother's Day had arrived once again. Four years had passed since the second loss, and somehow Y/n felt like she was doing a little better this year.
She spent the afternoon with her mother and siblings, enjoying the day with laughter, stories, and shared memories. There were moments when she felt homesick, but the weight was a little lighter. She knew that Lewis was with her mother too, and that at the end of the day, he would be home to her arms.
When she arrived, the house was silent. Roscoe was sleeping peacefully on the couch, and a small smile appeared on Y/n's lips. She turned on some soft music on her cell phone, letting the melody fill the rooms as she prepared dinner. She cut the vegetables calmly, humming softly to the song that was playing.
It was then that he heard the familiar sound of the lock unlocking.
Seconds later, Lewis's voice sounded in the entrance hall, speaking softly to Roscoe, who had come to meet him excitedly. Her smile widened without her realizing it.
Lewis appeared in the kitchen doorway, watching his wife for a moment. She was stirring the pot with a calm expression, humming softly, and it warmed his heart in an indescribable way.
He approached silently, holding a bouquet in his hands. As soon as he reached her, he leaned over to place a soft kiss on her shoulder.
Y/n smiled and turned to him, touching his face briefly before giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
"How was your day?" He asked softly.
"It was good. My mom made that broccoli lasagna she always makes and we spent the day looking at old photos. She even sent some for you to see," he replied, and Y/n laughed. "By the way, she said hi to you too."
She smiled fondly. "I spent the day with my mom, and my brothers were in town too. It was nice...fun even."
Lewis nodded, and for a few moments, silence reigned between them. Y/n went back to stirring the pan, and he just watched her, as if recording every detail of that moment.
Then, with a small smile, he held out the bouquet to her. Y/n held the flowers, a tender glint in her eyes. She already knew the reason for that gesture.
Lewis kissed her cheek before murmuring, "I love you." Then he pulled back a little, giving her space to read the note attached to the bouquet.
Y/n opened the small envelope and skimmed over the words. Lewis still couldn't say all of that out loud. It had always been easier for him to write, to let the words spill out onto the paper so she could feel them in every letter.
'My love,
Another Mother's Day, another year by your side, and another reminder that you will always be the best mom our little ones could ever have. I know they are watching over us, and I know that if they could, they would tell you how much they love you and how grateful they are for you. You have always been and always will be an incredible mother. No matter where they are, the love you have for them echoes in every corner of the universe. I love you, Y/n. Forever. With all my heart, Lewis.'
The tears came before she could stop them. But this time, they didn't just carry sadness. They brought love, longing, memories.
With a tender smile on her lips, she turned to him and hugged him tightly. "I love you too, baby daddy." The words hit her before she could think.
Y/n felt them in her heart, and Lewis felt them in his soul.
He wrapped his arms around her, holding her as if he would never let go. He placed a soft kiss on her shoulder, soaking in that silent but meaningful moment.
Then, Y/n sighed and broke the silence with a light tone, "My nephews were hell today. You should have seen the chaos at my mother's house.
Lewis let out a low laugh, feeling the air lighten.
They didn't avoid the subject, but they were still healing. They talked about it as best they could, in whatever way they could, respecting each other's time.
And somehow they knew they were walking together, side by side. Always.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
5 years after the second loss.
The day had been peaceful. For the first time in years, Mother's Day was not marked by heavy silences or painful moments. Lewis and Y/n spent lunch with Carmen, laughing at the stories she told about Lewis's childhood. Afterwards, they had dinner at Y/n's mother's house, enjoying time with her brothers and nephews.
Neither of them mentioned the loss they shared. They just lived in the moment, allowing themselves to feel the lightness of being with family.
Now night spread across the sky as Lewis drove back home. The car was filled with the sound of Y/n's excited voice, telling something funny that happened at work.
"And then he thought I was serious!" She laughed, leaning her head back against the bench. "You should have seen his face!"
Lewis laughed along, shaking his head. "I swear, sometimes I think your job is just a big sitcom and you're the lead."
Y/n laughed, feeling her chest lighten. But as the laughter died down, she realized Lewis wasn't heading home.
"Where are we going?" She asked, curious.
Lewis smiled sideways and placed a hand on her thigh, giving it a light rub. "I'm just looking for an open place to buy something."
"What thing?"
"Surprise."
Y/n rolled her eyes, but smiled. She knew there was no point in insisting. So she just went back to telling stories about work, and Lewis listened attentively as they drove through the city.
A few minutes later, he stopped in front of a 24-hour store.
"What are you going to do?" Y/n asked as soon as he turned off the car.
Lewis smiled. "I'll be back in a few seconds." He leaned over, kissed her on the cheek, and got out of the car.
Y/n laughed to herself and started changing music on the dashboard, waiting for him.
When Lewis returned, he held a single rose in his hands. He opened the door and handed the flower to her with a small smile.
Y/n frowned, but took the rose, laughing. "Thank you..."
Lewis took a deep breath and looked at her. "I didn't have time to buy a bigger bouquet," he said softly. "But I had to do it today. You know!"
Y/n understood instantly. Her chest tightened, but not in a bad way. Just intense.
Then, for the first time, Lewis began to speak. "I never knew how to put it into words. You know. I used to write it on notes, but now I'm a little better at saying it out loud," he began, his voice low but firm. "All these years, I've tried to move on, I've tried to accept it... But the truth is, a part of me has always felt like I failed you. That I should have done more." Y/n squeezed the rose between her fingers, feeling her heart tighten in her chest. "I've imagined so many times what it would be like. You holding our baby in your arms. Us choosing names, setting up the nursery, fighting over who would stay up late at night... I always knew you would be an amazing mother, Y/n. And it hurts me to know that we never had that chance."
His voice wavered at the end, and Y/n felt tears well up in her eyes. She ran her fingers down Lewis’s cheek, feeling the texture of his stubble beneath her touch.
"You didn't fail me, Lew," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "And you'd make an amazing father. I always knew that."
His eyes met hers, seeking comfort in the midst of their shared pain.
"I know it still hurts" Y/n continued, smiling sadly. "But... today I feel like I can breathe a little better. I'm taking the courage to say this out loud to you."
Lewis smiled slightly, bringing his hand to hers and intertwining their fingers. With the other, he places it on her cheek and smiles. "You are an incredible woman. And a very good mommy, with or without them here. I love you." Lewis kisses her, Y/n smiles and returns the kiss.
When they lose their breath, Lewis still keeps his hands intertwined with hers and starts the car, to go home now. Y/n smiled at the rose in her hand and went back to talking about the funny moments at work.
When they got home, Lewis opened the door and let Y/n in first. As soon as she stepped into the living room, Roscoe came running up to her, wagging his tail excitedly.
"Hey, kiddo" Y/n smiled, running her hand through the dog's fur.
She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a vase to put the rose in. When Lewis arrived shortly after, Y/n was leaning over the counter, looking at the flower with a smile on her face.
The silence stretched for a few seconds before she took a deep breath and hesitantly closed the distance between them. "I... I still want to have children."
Lewis was quiet for a moment, but then he nodded and walked over to her. Y/n looked at her husband, feeling her heart beat faster. "All of this still hurts." She confessed, "And I'll never forget. I don't want to forget. They're part of our history. But I want to move on."
Lewis nodded again, and Y/n felt his hand on hers, warm and comforting. She swallowed hard before asking, "Do you still want to have children with me?" She cried softly.
And then, that question caught Lewis off guard, pain shot through his chest and punched his heart. It made tears come to his eyes as well.
"Of course I do, love." His voice was choked, but full of conviction. "I've never wanted this with anyone else but you. I could never imagine my life without us building a family together." Y/n sobbed softly, and Lewis squeezed her hand tighter. "It still hurts to think about them... and I think it always will. But I want to move on with you, in whatever way, for as long as it takes. Not to forget... but to turn the page. To give new meaning to all of this. I'd face anything to be able to hold our baby in my arms one day" He whispered. "And I know that when that day comes, it will be worth every moment."
Y/n sobbed harder and pulled him into a tight hug. Lewis's chest rose and fell rapidly, trying to control his emotion, but he held her like he never wanted to let go.
For a long time, they stayed like that, just breathing together, feeling each other's warmth, allowing that moment to completely envelop them.
A comfortable silence fell, and then Roscoe came over to them, nudging Y/n’s leg with his nose. She laughed and bent down to pet the dog, while Lewis watched her, his heart lighter than it had been in years.
And in that moment, as he watched the woman he loved smiling softly, her eyes still shining with emotion, Lewis knew that no matter what the future brought, he would never be alone.
He had Y/n. And one day, they would have a little piece of their love in their arms.
Author: I had seen somewhere where the husband did exactly that to his wife, but I can't remember where I had read it. But anyway, I cried while reviewing it.

Hello
I would like to request a shadow x teen reader where the reader is naturally cold and is a deep sleeper so when shadow goes to see her or wake her up she gives him quite the scare
Nap Time
pairings: Shadow the Hedgehog x teen!reader (platonic)
warnings: Shadow slightly panicking
summary: Shadow finds you asleep but can't seem to wake you, the worst case scenario comes to mind
a/n: kinda short sorry, also if i did a valentines day special who would you guys want?
Cold, your body felt cold and still. It was unnerving, and Shadow didn't like it one bit. He'd walked in on you 'asleep' at least that'd what he wanted to assume. Earlier you'd told Shadow you'd be taking a short nap. That was 5 hours ago, and he hadn't heard from you since. He walked into your room, he saw the bed; it was unmoving and eerily cold.
He walked over to where you laid, his eyes scanning your face to see if you were breathing but he couldn't tell. He felt his heart beat spike as he watched you. Slowly he reached out a gloved hand, his small paw lingering over your arm before he put it down to rest on it. You were freezing and so, so, still.
Shadow felt his stomach drop as he stood still but your side. His other hand coming up to grab onto your arm, trying to shake you a bit, yet you continued to lay there not even a muscle moving. He felt his breathing become heavier, he hated what his thoughts were telling him. The mind was a powerful thing and currently his was telling him terrible thoughts, that your nap may have led to his worst fear.
"Wake up," His voice was steady but there was a slight pleading to it. You didn't react, he just shook harder trying to wake you up. Looking at you lay there was oddly reminiscent of a scene he'd witnessed before, one that he never wanted to happen again.
Shadow didn't let up, shaking you even harder, it was the only thing he knew what to do in the moment. After a decent amount of shaking a small groan escaped your lips. Slowly you rubbed your eyes and sat up, glancing over at the hedgehog through squinted eyes, "Shads?" You asked him as you slowly blinked, taking in your surroundings.
He felt a small sigh escape his lips, tension leaving his shoulders as he watched you sit up. Shadow let his hands fall from your arm back at his sides as he stood at your bedside, his eyes never leaving your form. Worried that if he did you might still be laying down.
"What happened?" It was clear to tell he was disheveled, his quills look like they'd been on their end, which would've been funny if you weren't worried about him.
As you leaned against the back of your bed frame, adjusting your position Shadow opened his mouth to speak, taking a second to form the words, "You're a deep sleeper," a quiet mumble was his response.
You raised a brow as you watched him, "I guess so?" pausing to give him a moment, "I'm just tired," you shrugged, sighing a bit and patting the top of his quills.
He let you be affectionate, not asking you to stop, instead keeping quiet. It was his way of embracing the affection you gave, "It was unnerving," he grumbled as he gave you a dark look, although it was easy to tell he wasn't upset.
Your hand fell from his head and you let out a airy chuckle, "Sorry bud, I'll warn you next time"
Shadow didn't say anything, he just nodded but he was happy to hear that you'd let him know. He could tell his little heart wouldn't be able to handle another scare like that.

Routine V
Mini Series
Wanda Maximoff x fem wife!reader
Summary: Routines can get tiring quickly, especially when you’re the only one working towards keeping them.
A/n: We meet again friends. I am very happy to be updating this fic once more. Also happy to inform that I have found a direction in which to take it!!! I hope you enjoy reading it.
Word count: 1400 approx
She was at a crossroads, there was nothing that she could do to stop you from leaving. She hadn’t stopped pacing the room since you left. That's when she saw it… Her saving grace. Maybe if she did this one thing she could at least open the door if not maybe just unlock it, something. At this point that was definitely better than nothing. Your passport and what looked like important papers were left sitting on the kitchen counter. You had left in a furious haze, something was meant to be left behind. You just didn’t think it would be your passport and work visa. That was the one thing that you thought you had in lock, the one thing that you couldn't forget… And you forgot it. Truthfully you knew that something was missing the moment that you stepped into the car with Kate, but you chalked it up to the stress that Wanda had caused.
There was a time that anything that remotely felt like a fight was a no go. You never wanted to fight with Wanda, nothing about arguing with her seemed pleasant. In the beginning it was obvious she was scared and all of it was new. You danced around obvious issues the two of you had. One issue was a rather big one being Vision. It was strange their connection. It was something you knew would have easily gone the other way had you not been in the picture. They understood each other; you felt like the odd man out in your own relationship with her. It wasn’t until you exploded one day that the issue was addressed. Thinking back Wanda should have seen this coming. It almost ended the relationship before it really even began. She was tempted to call you, she really was. But she’d just crossed a very big boundary. Instead she texted Kate.
Her text was read almost immediately the text bubble kept appearing but nothing was sent. Wanda instead sent another message. ‘I’ll meet you at the gate, lose Y/n for a minute and I’ll give you her passport.’ She only received a thumbs up and she was on her way. It was high time Wanda started taking action. She wasn’t going to fail you now.
You were lying. You had no idea where you got the confidence from but it was a complete lie. You loved her so much it hurt. She didn’t read your mind that time and it hurt that she believed you. Tears welled in your eyes, this day wasn’t supposed to go like this. You were supposed to leave peacefully, and now you had no idea what you were doing. She shook you. Wanda came into your life and turned it upside down and now she’s done it again. It was rough. Kate had been fidgety for the past twenty minutes. “Are you okay?” You managed to get the words out. She stilled wide eyed. “Uhm shouldn’t I be asking you that?” You hummed. “Probably… I’m just tired of the same thing over and over again.” You sighed. “There are so many things that I wanted to say. But she was right in front of me and the words disappeared.” Kate nodded, her eyes still fixed on the road.
“Do you think… that uhm you’ll get back together?” She asked the obvious question. It only made your shoulders deflate more. Not because she asked, “It’s not up to me.” but because of how pitiful the answer was. And it was entirely up to her. You hadn't even been able to bring yourself to draft the papers. The fear that she’d actually sign them still managed to keep you up at night. What if she did, what then? “My heart… it aches constantly. Like something was ripped from me.” Kate cleared her throat. “You’re leaving Y/n… You're going abroad for god knows how long.” You nodded. “How else can I show her what she’s doing to me? Years Kate I’ve put up with it for years.” Kate nodded. “I did not suffer in silence, I let her know at every turn how she was compromising us.” Your words were laced with anger and conviction. And so quickly the sadness gave way to raw anger.
Wanda felt she should have thought this entire situation out more. Here she was in her car on her way to the airport, filled with hundreds if not thousands of people. And the most daunting part being that you’re unaware. Her mind was already starting to hold her hostage. She made the treck mostly on autopilot. Then there was the whole getting through security, nothing her powers couldn’t handle. Only she somehow couldn’t. She had not felt this lack of control since ultron, she was tripping where she had learned repeatedly not to. It was overwhelming navigating through the masses of people trying to get to their flights, homes, families. Everyone's thoughts traversed constantly. Eventually and not without struggle she had found Kate, near a coffee shop.
“Finally! I thought you’d make this hard for me.” Kate’s words washed right through her. The only thing she could hear now was an angry ring, mocking her. She shook her head softly trying to dissipate the sound. Then she stilled, she could sense it. Her powers out of pure reflex sought you out. And another pang of sadness ran through her. She’d never been able to sense your anger. A slap in the face a testament as to how unwelcome she truly was. A tug at her arm brought her back. She was clutching your passport in her hand. The folder already in Kate’s possession. Kate sighed. “Are you okay?” She relented and finally asked the question. That seemed to snap her out of whatever trance she was in. She let go of the Passaport like it burned her. Kate noticed her distress and asked again. “My powers… are acting up, I'll be fine.” Kate nodded, not fully convinced.
Kate had decided she’d throw Wanda a life line. She did not think someone could make a change so drastically in a matter of hours. This Wanda that was standing in front of her was not the same one she witnessed yell indignantly at you. This Wanda looked defeated, vulnerable. “She’s still waiting for you…” Kate said. Taking the woman in, and for a moment she wasn’t sure Wanda had heard her. Then tears started rolling down her face. “I don’t think she is…” the words came out tersely and clipped. “She's angry, she has every right to be. That doesn’t change the fact that she’s waiting… so give her time.” Kate sighed, taking a step back. “Fight for her…” She turned on her heel and walked away. Wanda seconds later managed to do the same. Her resolve slowly cemented.
Kate made her way back just as you started looking for her. She looks slightly flushed. Two coffees in hand, a folder tucked in between her arm and torso. Your eyes widened at the sight. “I didn’t even realize I was missing that!” You exclaimed. Taking a cup out of her hand, and the folder at the same time. “Kate, you're a lifesaver.” She nodded, taking a long sip of her drink. Then silence followed, you could have sworn you felt something. It made your heart race. You remembered the familiar feeling. A slight fuzz just out of reach in your mind. You couldn’t help but look around. Could it be, or was it just her lingering in your mind. Then once again Kate brought you back into the present. “Here your boarding group is about to be called.” Kate pulled you up from your seat making toward the line now forming.
Right as your ticket was scanned. She pulled you to the side slightly. “Promise you’re coming back.” You managed a small smile. “I will, I don’t think your mother will keep me away forever.” You joked. Keeping an eye on the people boarding. Kate nodded trying to reassure herself. “You forgot your passport… she brought them here. That's why I was gone for a minute.” Your heart started racing. “I didn’t want to keep it from you.” Then before you could even respond an airline worker was ushering through into the boarding tunnel. The last thing Kate managed to say was for you to call her when you landed.
A/n: Please leave a like if you liked it!!! Late because I completely forgot to schedule. :(

#A READ#but a deeply loving one - @chicademartinica
oh man it is SO deeply loving what can I say about it?
bad shows and mediocre shows and boring shows are necessary for the artistic process. the truth is that sometimes Jojo Tichakorn will make a boring show. bless Never Let Me Go but I don't remember a single thing about that show other than Pond and Phuwin sat on the beach soulfully looking out at the sea in sepia adjacent coloring. But that was simply his artistic impulse. there's no THK without only friends without NLMG. And in that VERY same interview from TWO years ago Jojo revealed that Ninew originally wanted Only Friends to be set in an acting class while Jojo pushed it to Business. and now??? Ninew gets to direct Only Friends: Dream On. HIS vision of only friends. It's mind boggling, for a queer person to live such a sweet life, training under a mentor, working towards and achieving their dreams I just dgaf if it's horrible I love OF: Dream On with all my being already.
I don't know if P'Golf will ever construct a story where they don't pretend that the villain is not the villain? Like they build such compelling narratives of conflict and intimacy and the intimacy to be found within conflict and then completely forget to set up the motivations of their antagonists (RIP Thua and Ter plywood beams supporting so much of the narrative's weight) but like I really dgaf the person who submitted Thailand's marriage equality bill, an act that changed the course of history can do whatever the fuck they want lol
I mean many such cases?? I didn't watch Last Twilight despite Aof being one of my favorite directors period is because I knew his protagonists tend to follow lakorn logic, he did it in ATOTS, DBK, MLC and even in Bad Buddy (random shooting my beloved <3), like idk if it's the shared enthusiasm for RPF or traditional asian narratives but I feel this man's vision on an atomic level and I knew from the trailer how that show was going to end and I didn't watch it because I know his artistic limitations. But then it suddenly became about how GMMTV hates disabled people. Like??? Not only did Aof Noppharnach present such a beautifully compelling and deeply celebratory representation of queer disability in MLC he named his queer disabled character Heart idk how to explain the shock I felt when faced with people's short term memory regarding this.
I'm not surprised that Nuchy is the one directing Burnout Syndrome, a three-way entanglement with gun atthaphan as the centerpoint. The exclusion of GramBlack, outside of its social reactions and implications, was a significant failing of her narrative. Gram was in fact in love with Black, that's what how it was in the original story from which Not Me was adapted and that's how it was in the show. To change who a character is in love with is changing the whole character which she simply hadn't done but she compromised her art against social pressures and like I don't have proof but im not surprised that the keys to Gun's Off Jumpol chastity belt was handed to Nuchy.
it's incredible, make your shitty pots my dears I'm here to witness it. we are nowhere near the peak for any of these people. Hayao Miyazaki was 47 when he directed My Neighbor Totoro. Jojo is only 40 years old that's a baby in artist years. They are pioneers in an entirely toddler of a genre, they have countless more life experience to collect and tonnes more stories to tell imperfectly and I am simply so happy to be here. I like to acknowledge GMMTVs hand in creating this reality.
I think one of the most incredible things about gmmtvs artistic direction *is* their dedication towards the commonplace the steady the familiar. Not only do they make boring gay shows (in addition to the exciting and interesting imo) but they do it consistently every single year. Every single year they make terrible shows and boring shows; shows you can put on in the background and promptly fall asleep during shows that I consistently forget exists or even aired (in addition to the great!).
Will P’Golf ever stick the landing in their shows? idk but they certainly will be directing till we find out 😂 Is New Siwaj on some quest to turn his low stakes college anthology style into like a degrassi or skins-esque staple? idk gonna find out during gmmtv2026. Which formative media for Jojo is going to become his next aesthetic centerpoint? Idk but we gonna find out. Will Aof Nopparnach ever stop directing like he wished he was making lakorns instead? maybe if it’s RPF but idk we gotta find out.
Like??? I am following pioneer creators on their creative journey *as* they’re taking it. I’m watching them fumble and pirouette as they sculpt their pieces; flaws and all.
man what an incredible place for queer media to be and what good luck to be experiencing it when I am
#I was so busy yesterday I couldn't elaborate#I was not expecting this to leave my circle of circus goers#who are long used to the way I talk#people were confused lol#nani's hot takes

⭑。𖦹°‧ㅤㅤBLUE ㅤ— ㅤㅤjay x f.reader ㅤㅤ wc 0.7k
where your boyfriend always knows a way to make your worries melt away
★ — hurt/comfort angst estd. relation fluff academic pressure :( jay being the sweetest bf
you looked at all the books and notes spread out in front of you, and the painfully waiting cursor of the blank document, as if urging you to start the assignment. but it felt… all too much, too overwhelming for you to even think about your pending works.
and before you knew it, a tear dropped down on the page, staining your messy handwriting. good here it goes again. you were tired of feeling tensed and worried about your studies.
your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of rapid knocks and the bell. you turned to look at the time, 11pm. who could it even be at this late hour?
sighing, you got up to open the door before the person could ring the bell once more, only to be met with a very familiar face.
‘jay...? what are you doing here at this hour?’ you asked, unsure of how to approach the fact that your boyfriend was in front of your apartment at near midnight. the said boy who was standing quite tensed your doorstep, visibly frowned upon seeing you
‘yn, i was worried tensed! why did you not pick up my calls? you even left me on seen?! do you know how stressful that was? wait, are you…’ he trailed, finally getting a proper look at your face.
oh shit you had forgotten that your tears hadn't dried yet and he was met with a red and blotchy face.
jay quickly stepped into the apartment, his hands going up to your face, softly holding them.
‘what… happened?’ his voice was laced with concern. ‘uh, you were worried, for me?’ you refused to meet his eyes.
‘of course, babe! you are usually so active and present but all i have got are just a few messages and no calls, i thought you were sick!’ and his eyes held this earnest look, that almost made you want to start sobbing again.
as if sensing your emotions, he engulfed you in a hug and before you knew it, you were in his arms, tearing up yet again, your forehead resting on his shoulder.
‘i… i– i am sick, of this work and study and…’ you spoke through your tears, ‘jay, i don't think i can do this anymore, i feel so-so tired, it's…’ you could feel him rub small soothing circles on your back, nodding to your every word and never interrupting you, as if you could vent out all the frustration and pressure you had building in you.
the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, slowly calmed you down as you broke apart to look up at him, with a small pout. you mumbled a small sorry.
jay broke out in a smile, caressing your cheek, ‘it's okay, yn, you've been so strong and dedicated. it’s okay to let yourself catch a break, hm? it's okay to feel sad and unmotivated sometimes, right? because i know you can do it.’
‘b-but i’ ‘ssh, i trust you.’ and maybe that was all you needed to hear.
you could feel a small smile form on your face, heart a lot lighter than it had been a few minutes ago. and you couldn't thank jay enough for it.
‘okayyy now let's see how my girlfriend is doing, secluding herself like a saint, tell me the last time you had eaten, yn?’ he questioned you in a serious tone. you knew how serious he could get if you neglected your meals.
‘eh, yesterday i think…?’ ‘i'm pretty sure it was ramen.’ you guiltily nodded.
jay shook his head, not surprised but placed a firm kiss on your forehead. ‘ok, so, you, my girl, are going to sit down and relax while i make you something healthy and edible to eat. okay?’ he said, more like commanded.
you blushed at his actions before following him to the kitchen.
it was a common routine you both had fallen into, jay would cook, you would, well… try to assist.
and even though, jay protested about you helping him, you shrugged him off, just happy to spend time with your boyfriend.
‘and from now on, yn, please don't ghost me like this. i'm always here for you, love’, whispered close to your ears, pressing another small kiss to your cheek.

The Call: Han Jeong-Won x Fem Reader!!
Summary: Your arrival would change everything, even if Jeong-Won didn't know it.
The clock on the wall marked two in the morning, but Han Jeong-Won couldn't sleep. The city of Seoul shone beyond the windows of his luxurious penthouse, but all he saw was the reflection of his tired face in the glass. The same empty expression he had worn for months. He clenched his jaw as his gaze fell on the phone lying on the coffee table. For the last hour, he had been debating with himself whether or not to make the call his assistant, worried about his "singleness," had suggested in hushed, uncomfortable whispers.
New Marriage: Where contracts become solutions.Jeong-Won had let out a dry laugh when he first heard that slogan. The idea had seemed absurd back then, but now… now everything seemed less ridiculous than living every day feeling the pitying stares or, worse yet, the evident contempt from his ex-wife.Seo-Yeon.Just thinking of her made his chest tighten. That woman had been his greatest mistake and his greatest weakness. Their marriage had ended in flames, consumed by hatred and guilt. She blamed him for the loss of their baby, and even though he knew it wasn’t his fault, the guilt had settled on him like a second skin."Dammit..." he muttered, grabbing the phone with determination. He dialed the number he had saved under the nondescript name "Service N." The waiting tone echoed in his ear, and for a moment, he thought about hanging up."New Marriage, good morning. How can we help you?" a soft, professional female voice answered.Jeong-Won swallowed hard."I want... to hire a wife."There was a brief silence on the other end of the line."Excuse me?""I want a wife," he repeated coldly. "As soon as possible."The operator seemed to regain her composure."Do you have any specific requirements?"Jeong-Won reclined on the sofa, running a hand through his messy hair."She needs to be discreet. I don’t care about her past. I just need her to be convincing.""Understood. What is the purpose of the contract?"He smiled, a bitter, twisted grimace."I want my ex-wife to see me happy. I want her to regret leaving me."The operator didn’t seem surprised. She had heard it all on this line."Very well, Mr. Han. We will send you an appropriate profile within the next 24 hours."He hung up before he could overthink what he had just done. The weight of his decision settled in the air like an impending storm. Jeong-Won knew that this wouldn’t solve his life, but at that moment, making her jealous was the closest thing to a victory he could imagine. And when you have nothing left to lose, even a fake marriage can seem like an opportunity.
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled Y/N's small apartment as Loki, her faithful white puppy, ran around her feet while she poured herself a cup and let out a satisfied sigh. Life hadn't been easy lately, but Y/N always found a way to keep her spirits up.Since her family had faced financial problems, Y/N had to take on unconventional jobs to make ends meet. That’s how she ended up registering with the New Marriage agency, a discreet but peculiar company that offered marriage services... by contract. The agreement was simple: temporary marriages lasting one year to cover personal or social needs of clients. Although the idea had seemed strange at first, the money was too good to turn down."It’s just a job, Y/N," she had told herself in front of the mirror the day she signed her contract as a "temporary wife candidate."The ringing of her phone interrupted her thoughts. She looked at the screen and saw the agency’s number."Hello?""Good morning, Miss Y/N. This is Min Seo from New Marriage.""Ah, hello," she replied, trying to sound calm despite her heart racing."We're calling to inform you that you've been selected for a special case."Y/N furrowed her brow."Special?""Yes. The client is Han Jeong-Won, a well-known music producer."Y/N couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. She had heard that name on the radio and in the news. A music genius, but with a reputation for being reserved and, according to rumors, difficult to deal with."And what’s the request?" she asked with curiosity."Marriage by contract, of course. Duration: one year. The client’s goal is primarily to make an impression in his social circle and, specifically, in front of his ex-wife."Y/N bit her lip. She wasn't unfamiliar with the extravagant cases the agency handled, but this request sounded more complicated than usual."An angry ex-husband? Sounds... interesting," she joked with a nervous tone."The client has made it clear that he needs discretion and a partner who can handle social situations with ease. We believe you are a perfect fit."Y/N sighed, looking at Loki, who was now chewing his favorite toy."Alright, I accept the offer."Min Seo smiled on the other end of the line."Perfect. We’ll send you the details for the initial meeting with the client."When the call ended, Y/N collapsed onto the sofa, petting Loki’s soft ears."Well, Loki, looks like mom just signed a deal with destiny."The dog barked happily."Yes, I think this is going to be crazy too."Unknowingly, Y/N was about to meet the loneliest man in Seoul, someone who didn’t believe in second chances. But maybe, with her cheerful spirit, she would be exactly what he never knew he needed.

any george or arthur angst 🙏
a little inspiration from the new platform roulette...
hurt.
that's how she felt whenever she heard arthur deny the relationship that they had been settled into for the last seven months. with every joke about being single and every joke about being with a woman alongside every laugh he let out when one of his friends made a joke about his dating life and his one-liners in an attempt to pick up women, it tore into her and broke her just a little more each time.
at first, it was something she was really thankful for. he wanted their relationship to be taken slowly, at a pace she was comfortable with, so she wasn't scared off by the way her whole life would become a whirlwind of chaos once his fans knew who she was. from the way her social media would have taken off to the way she'd have been a name they searched for online alongside his own to the way her name would have been in tweets and comments on his instagram, in both nice ways and hated ways. and, he wanted to protect her from the nonsense that she would have been flooded with.
but now?
now she wanted to show him off. she wanted to be shown off. she wanted to live their life together in public and not have to feel like she was being hidden away anymore. she wanted to be taken on dates, double dates, she wanted to share their relationship online with their little milestones, and she wanted to partake in the videos their friends post online without being kept in the background.
she didn't want to hide away anymore.
"people speculate about us anyway so would it be such a problem if we told them what they wanted to hear?"
what had started out as a peaceful night at home, waiting for the long-awaited release of arthur's appearance in platform roulette, had soon turned into a night full of anger and upset. their dinner getting forgotten about, the bottle of wine on the table being ignored and the tv had been paused on a moment that yn couldn't just let slide.
"you might be ready but," he runs his hands through his hair and tugs on the strands that his fingers managed to catch in his fists, "i might not be as ready as you. i don't want to rush things."
"oh, come on, arthur," she scoffs heavily and places her hands on her hips, "we've been together for seven months, can't you see where i'm coming from? or are you that blindsided and scared that you'll lose your fanbase because you won't be the cute, single man in videos anymore?"
the silence that soon followed was deafening.
and thick.
suffocating her with regret because she knew she spoke the words before she could think about how she wanted to get her point across to him. her heart dropped in her chest, almost the pit of her stomach, and she couldn't bring herself to look at him because she knows he'll pull a face that would break her into bits.
"you think i care more about the numbers on my socials than you?"
"that's how i'm feeling right now, arthur."
"do you know how stupid you sound right now?" his voice was thick and laced with anger, the words rolling off his tongue with a hiss, and it dawned on her that, maybe, there was a better way to have brought the topic up and not to cause a fight, "because you sound absolutely ridiculous."
"how would you feel if i went online and started acting exactly how you do in these youtube videos? pretending to be single with such a terrible dating life?"
his silence was just the answer she needed.
"exactly."
all yn could do was busy herself as she collected their dirty plates, food having gone stone-cold and wasted, trying her best to ignore how she was feeling deep down. she hated arguing with him, and the feeling was mutual from arthur, because she hadn't brought up her thoughts with the intentions of picking a fight.
"what do you want me to do, yn?"
"i want to feel like you care about me. i want to feel like you love me enough to show off how happy you are," she glances at him and he stands in the middle of the room like a lost puppy, completely unaware of what to do in that moment, "are you embarrassed of me?"
"embarrassed?"
"it's not a trick question, arthur," she grumbles lowly, scraping off the food from the plates and placing them in the kitchen sink, "are you or aren't you?"
"why would i be embarrassed of you? i have no reason to feel like that towards you, at all," his voice gets louder and she soon realises he's in the kitchen with her, his presence filling the room and she hears the wine glasses, that were in his hands, being set down on the side unit, "i'm far from embarrassed of you."
"then why won't you make us public?"
he gulps back the lump in his throat and leans against the counter, bending his elbows and resting his hands on the edge to keep his body propped up, and it's the first time where they're looking at each other without darkness taking over.
"i'm scared for you," he admits softly, "i want nothing more than to be able to talk about you, about us, with my friends in the videos we film out and about. but i know how brutal people can be and i don't want you to be a victim of social hatred because of who you're with."
"you can't just assume that, though."
"i've seen it happen to my friends, yn," he says; because he had. he'd heard stories about how chip's girlfriend struggled to adapt to his life as a youtuber, how theo's partner would read about herself online to see what people were talking about, how shannon felt when she was with chris. he'd heard it all and seen it all happen. "i didn't want you to tear yourself apart, to become a shell of yourself, because of some of the bullshit people write online."
the words wants to come out but she couldd't speak.
she'd overreacted and it definitely dawned on her, in that moment, that it was something that didn't need to be argued over.
"i just want to keep you safe, yn. that's all."

I have a Victoria Neuman request where Victoria is only using the reader at first due to the reader's father being a really influential figure especially in politics so dating the reader would give her access to more connections but overtime Victoria realizes that she's in love with the reader and fully comes to the realization while they're having sex.
content: victoria using reader for personal gain, nb reader, a touch of angst, victoria accidentally falling in love and not knowing how to deal with it
As your body writhed under hers, hot skin pressed into her center, Victoria was struck by a sudden realization that paused her.
She stared down at you, puzzeling over your face as it contorted with rising pleeasure. Frozen under the weight of her thoughts, she sat straddeling your lap, taking you in.
Seeing you for the first time.
When had it changed? When had she come to see this more than just free sex? When had she come to care about you?
It started out simply, as most things did. Victoria needed more political influence, and who better to gain that influence with than by dating you? She had done as much work as she could on her end, but she was missing a crucial key to gaining more power.
But she didn't want to be on her knees for some elderly old man. No, if she had to be on her knees for anyone she rathered it be someone young, and attractive.
The fact that you were naive was only an added bonus.
Seducing you into experimenting with the fairer sex was all too easy. A few carefully crafted situations, with some choice words, and you were wrapped around her finger.
Dating you was a bit harder, if only because she had to keep up the charade: pretending to care for you while subtly using you to get your father to chance his perspective on bills in congress that she needed passed.
And it had worked like a charm.
Victoria had got what she wanted. She was going to break up with you. It was the sensible thing to do since she no longer needed your father's influence, able to do what she wanted now.
She told herself she would wait a few weeks to not make it suspicious, then make up some excuse that she could no longer date you because of a conflict of interest.
You surely wouldn't be happy but she wouldn't care, is what she told herself. And now here she was, in bed with you once more.
"Are you okay?" you asked her, voice husky with lust. You sat up, running a hand down her face.
Victoria jerked herself to, not realizing that she had been frozen for a while now. "I'm fine," she answered, though she did not feel fine. There was a tenderness in her heart, that hadn't been before. And she hated how she had noticed it.
"You don't look fine. Did I do something?" you asked and she chuckled, trying to shake off the realization she had come to. While you'd been spread out under her, your skin soft and flushed, your mouth breathing out her name, she'd known she'd fallen in love with you.
She didn't know when it had happened. In between all the dates at expensive restaurants, between glasses of wine, laughing at incompetent politics, or in the soft quiet moments as you lay by each others side?
She had been focused on her career, and on using you to further it. How could she have fallen for you?
This wasn't supposed to be the plan. This wasn't supposed to happen. This changed everything.
You wiped at her eyes. "You're crying."
"Am I?" she asked, in disbelief. She was torn between laughing and lamenting her fate. How cruel for her to be ensnared like this. When had you enchanted her? Was it with your smile? With your unflinching kindness?
"Was it work?" you asked, pure concern in your eyes.
She shook her head.
"I'm tired, I think." Victoria knew it was the easy way out, but she didn't feel like speaking about this with you.
"I'll make you something warm to drink," you told her and slipped out of the bed, grabbing a robe as you went. She watched you going, biting down on her bottom lip.
She was screwed, wasn't she?
She had too many enemies to make it a smart idea to fall for you. But she had fallen in love regardless and now she would have to account for that. In the meantime, she should enjoy her time with you and unpack her feelings in the morning. She rose up and grabbed her robe before joining you in the kitchen.

"blow my mind?" her voice teased despite her heart racing, "better start saving up then, baby." but she’s only kidding because truly, keenan could propose with a ring pop and she’d be happy. his optimism about finding common ground with her friends made something soft unfold inside her, thinking about how he was already planning for their wedding day. "laying the groundwork?" her perfectly manicured nails traced his jaw. "you sound pretty confident about me saying yes, even when i told you i might have to say no until you really work for it, babe." the memory of that first night made heat pool in her stomach - how he'd barely been able to focus on anyone else, how she'd commanded his attention completely. "i killed you?" her laugh was low, and knowing, "baby, you should've seen yourself. couldn't even pretend to look away." when he mentioned them both being needy that night, she couldn't help but smirk. her friends had painted her as desperate when she'd gone out of her way to speak to him despite deeming him unworthy, but they hadn't seen how he'd watched her, matched her hunger touch for touch. "even?" she kissed his neck. "i think you might've been worse. couldn't keep your hands off me. still surprised you didn't tear your steering wheel apart from how hard you were gripping it," she remembered how her friends had rolled their eyes when she'd blown off their mission to flirt with the bartender. but looking at him now, knowing every dark and beautiful part of him, she couldn't regret a single second of that night. "good thing neither of us was playing hard to get." dylan simply nods her head, "you are being fucking mean … won't even let me move my hips, you're so unfair … but i don't want you to rejig my memory, at least not right now." knows that she'd get a lesson taught to her sooner or later, but right now she just needs to feel his cock buried as deep inside her as possible. his thrusts have a passionate intensity attached to each one, his body pressed against hers, hardened nipples grazing his well-defined chest. arms enveloped him, clutching his back. "me either … i'm never gonna stop loving you," she panted, gasped, and moaned as he penetrated her pussy, core pulsating with his throbbing cock buried within. when keenan begins hoisting her leg toward her stomach, dylan moves to instead drape it over his shoulder, altering the angle in a way that made his cock expertly caress and brush past all those sensitive parts of her sopping cunt. dylan's mouth was insatiable, trailing along his neck, a mix of sucking and nipping, leaving behind fiery marks. a throaty moan escaped her as she feasted on his neck. "mhm … made for you, daddy. made for you to cum inside of me."
"yeah! dismissing it", homme hotly parrots, trying and failing to hide the smile on his face, "i'm gonna blow your damn mind dyl, so don't go and knock a guy down before he's shown you what he's capable of." and as far as proving himself went keenan thinks he's done a damn solid job ... murdering aside. but if she accepted that darker side of him and still wanted to stand by his side then there was nothing they couldn't handle together — including her group of friends. "i think we can, i mean i don't think we're all gonna become best friends but there has to be common ground between us." perhaps dylan was that common thread running through them all, he loves her and dylan was no fool, she wouldn't be friends with people she didn't care for, that didn't care for her in return. "plus i think they'd get pissed if we didn't invite them to our wedding, y'know? so i have to lay the groundwork for our big day", adds with a slick grin, a knowing look on his features. she'd be the most beautiful bride, a vision in whatever dress she decided to wear for the occasion and look even better without it. "you were the only person in the bar to me, i couldn't take anyone else's order 'cause i was too busy staring at you. you fucking killed me that night, princess." he'd assumed girls like dylan only existed in dreams or heavily edited movies, they weren't real — and then she'd walked in like she owned the entire place and he'd been speechless. "we can both be needy", settles with a nod and soft laugh, "that night i think we were both even when it came to that." his hunger for her had been insatiable since the first taste, for all he knew it would be the first and last time he'd see her and keenan was not going to waste it by pretending to not want her. "mean? baby ... if you think this is me being mean then we've really been apart for too long. you need me to rejig your memory a little?" but maybe later, when he's taken each of her holes and satisfied the need inside him. sheathing himself inside her cunt for the first time in seven days results in keenan seeing stars, groaning in pure bliss as her wet walls clamp around his throbbing cock. "jesus baby ... " he can't get enough of her, hips pulling and pushing against her as his fingers dig into the soft skin of her thigh. "never princess, i'm never gonna stop fucking you ... loving you." head dips, forehead pressing against her own as her nails puncture his back, pain mingling with pleasure as the sound of skin meeting skin bounces across his bedroom. grasping her thigh he guides it upward toward her stomach, his other hand fisting the sheets by her head. "so fuckin' tight for daddy ... perfect little cunt for me to dump into, right baby?"

HE’S KNOWN THE GUY HIS WHOLE LIFE (PROBABLY KNOWS THE ACCIDENT IN THE PAST MIGHT NOT HAVE BEEN AN ACTUAL ACCIDENT)#they have history and that makes everything even more awful bc he doesn’t understand why Zoë doesn’t feel like testifying#I don't believe that Senne would have been this incisive hadn't he ~known~ her ab*ser#I mean I think he would have accepted her decision way more easily if he didn't feel responsible for what happened 😔#she’s been feeling all alone in her anguish and at the same time starts pushing him away#it’s painful to see how the two of them are trying here. He’s so trying to support her no matter what#and she’s so trying to be strong for herself but her eyes are teary she can barely look at him it’s too much 😭❤️🩹
