Update ;)
It is often when I can’t sleep at night that I come up with the best words and phrases, but I’m not writing at night. I write here because it feels like an escape from my day-to-day life. I love writing and I’ve always wanted to write incredible stories that people will relate to and turn to when their worlds are crumbling like mine was when I started reading. I hope that somehow someone will find out about my little corner of the internet and that they will find out that whatever they might feel they aren’t alone and that they can always talk to this stranger that will never judge them. But I also know that the internet is wide dimension and that the chances are slim but I’ll stay there just in case.
I want to get back into writing here so hopefully, I will. I’ve been struggling a bit lately but I hope that setting objectives will force me to put down the words flowing in my brain. I might start a wattled account to post short stories I think that’s a good idea - this way I can focus on movie/book reviews here.

Hi strangers,
Hi, it’s me again, the other stranger on the internet. Just wanted to come and say hi again, I haven’t forgotten about this, believe me, it’s an escape of mine. I just wanted to say that I’ve been putting off writing here for quite some time now mostly because I'm really tired because of work. I feel like a slump. But don't worry I've been trying to keep up with my TBR and movies/series to have new things to write about when I finally have time.
I also got my second dose of the covid vaccine, I don't know if that will offend anyone but I think the vaccine is a great thing and the only valuable solution at the moment to have a normal life back again. I've never been the type to worry about my future health anyway sooo... Let me know what you think about that as well.
It feels great to write again, not saying I'm writing revolutionary things that will change literature but I've missed it. Lately, I've been feeling sooo out of myself, maybe due to work but I've been taking less care of myself mentally and physically. I feel quite empty and I realize that I'm not as excited for summer as I used to. I know some part of me would really like to live out my hot girl summer fantasies but I'm also really tired.
A dream of mine is that one day I can live carefreely, eat fruits and sunbathe all summer, going to the beach, fall in love with me, life, and maybe someone. Honestly, I wish that to all of us, all of the hopeless romantics out there romanticizing their summer in a call me by your name way ( without all the controversies obviously ).
So yeah that was me, I look forward to writing here as soon as possible ( hopefully in September, with a lot of things to say ). I have a lot of things I would like to do on here so yeah
to you
from a stranger

Star Wars
There isn’t much to say about this one, apart maybe that it’s one of the closest to my heart. I love those movies because I used to watch them with my dad when I was younger and growing up. He wanted to make me discover something he liked growing up. Every time I watch them I think about him.
I love the universe, the fact that everything we get to see and imagine, and view as a futuristic setting is in fact way back in the past.
I also love the meaning behind the universe, the good and the bad. I love it.
As for the different trilogies, I think the original one is still really great for the time it was made. Yes, the duel between obi-wan and vador is quite tired but it was the beginning of the saga, so as I said for the time it was still pretty epic. I love the sequels, the revenge of the sith is probably my fav of the saga (but it’s really hard to choose only one). Anakin with the longer hair and with a little more edge is really something else let’s be honest. We can talk about daddy Kenobi if you’d like ;) As for the latest trilogy, I’m gonna be 100% honest with you, I like it. Yes, it’s not as good as the others but it’s still great. I’m not a big fan of Rey and her whole backstory that’s for sure, but I like Kylo Ren (yes the dark side is really attractive to me). I mean he has a good backstory, a great redemption act (I’m a slut for redemption sooo). I don’t think he’s an annoying yelling little brat, I just think that he was in deep internal conflict.
But yeah watching the movies remind me of watching them with my dad. I also absolutely love the opening, they give me a thrill ( I used to go see them in the movie theatre and there are not many things that will do the same thing as the anticipation of the opening does - queue that one vine ).
Sorry for the delay, I was kind of in my feels last night and didn’t have an internet connection.

There are a few things in life so beautiful they hurt: swimming in the ocean while it rains, reading alone in empty libraries, the sea of stars that appear when you’re miles away from the neon lights of the city, bars after 2am, walking in the wilderness, all the phases of the moon, the things we do not know about the universe… and you.

Mamma Mia!
Is there possibly a better comfort movie than Mamma Mia! ? I don't think there is another movie that leaves me as happy as this one and it's saying a lot. But I do understand that some people don't like musical comedies but I mean come on ABBA?!
This movie is gold, pure happiness on a DVD. The serotonin boost this movie gives me >>>
The cast is amazing, the story is good, the songs are phenomenal and the vibes are immaculate. Ever since my childhood, this song has set my expectations for an amazing summer. I love that this movie speaks about all the type of love. Family, friends, self-love, everything.
Donna was the blueprint for Hot Girl Summer. Sophie has also been my inspo for dressing, hair. Tanya is my spirit animal. Rosie is realistically me. Sam always reminds me of my dad. I just love them and sometimes wish that I could live in the movie, really often actually.
I just love how all the songs fit so well with the story. I pretty much adore every song but I truly think that Lay All Your Love On Me could wake me from a coma.
I also enjoyed the second movie but it just doesn't hit the same even if it's good. I have issues with the messed-up timeline and I also think it looks more staged than the original.
Again I could go On and On and On (see what I did there) about this movie, but I think it would be more relevant if we just chatted about what we love rather than just have me rambling.

The Hunger Games Saga
I’ll begin by apologizing because this one might be really long and I’ll tell you why. I have so much love for this saga. These are the books that made me read, this is how I became addicted to reading. Plus I just love the movies.
I’ll begin by saying that Jennifer Lawrence is pretty up there in my celebrity crushes. Love her and I think that she plays a really good Katniss. She is badass but she is also really great at portraying Katniss when she feels like all of her life is crumbling.
My personal favorite movie of the franchise is the second one. It just gives everything. Peeta and Katniss, the start of the revolution, justice to Rue, incredible game, and plot twist.
I think we don’t talk enough about the genius costume design in these movies. I watched a really cool YouTube video on it the other day and it just made me realize how it is so well taught. I also think the casting is on point. As I said Katniss is really great but I also love Peeta’s casting. As for all the other characters.
I just think that’s it’s part of the movies that will always bring me back to comfort and make me feel good. I mean at one point I watched the four movies almost on repeat. I know It’s kind of stupid because other movies give much more emotions in a more elaborate way but these books/movies are the first ones that made me ugly sob of sadness or anger, or even just because of the incredible love story.
It may be controversial: But in my opinion, Katniss is a better main character than Tris from Divergent for example. She has sept she just didn’t find a guy and all her issues were fixed. In the first movie, she did what she had to do to survive, which I felt was kind of a bitch move for Peeta but I get it now: she had responsibilities. In the second movie, she is robbed of her peace, after being traumatized from the first games. This is when she really begins to realize that what she feels for Peeta is real. When the games end, she feels like she was robbed from her lover, like he died cause he seriously could have. But she got worse. Don’t tell me you cried when you noticed that they were hurting him and that he was being brainwashed. Cause when I tell you it broke me, it did. She was being used by Coin. I cried when Prim died. Yes, big tears. Not really for her but for Katniss. She was robbed of everything she ever loved. Gale did it to himself but it was another deception for Katniss.
I just love the movies so much. I won’t argue with you that the third one is a lit bit boring in some moments but it is was it is. I think we ought some respect for the third movie because it gave us an incredible song. ( Now that I know the back story to it I really think it’s a genius move - Did I like the book? Meh but I love how I understand his deep hatred towards her now. We could talk about it if you’d like)
Anyways I feel like a part of me will always be a hard Stan on this saga, like I just know it.
