so i came up with a rough idea for a scott pilgrim inspired litg au where you have an evil ex from each season (minus season 8 since it's coming out now)
Bobby would be the main character, which I didn't want at first because he's the most popular LI but I think his personality seems the most likely to get into this situation (minus the Scott Pilgrim being an incel but that's why it's inspired and not a one to one). Also works since he's in a band.
Obviously MC is his dream girl (Ramona in the movie). Could probably have Noah be his roommate, who is bookish and also a little sick of his problems. Then you have the other band members: Lottie is the drummer (who is also Bobby's ex who's still a little mad at him), idrc who the guitarist is lol, and then I think it'd be funny to have a character who wants to be in the band but they don't let him until the end and that should be Felix.
The stuff about Knives I understand is important to the Scott Pilgrim story but I'm not a huge fan of the "dating a high schooler" part lol. Still, we can have a character that he's dating who's all in and he is not but he doesn't have the heart to break up with her and ends up breaking her heart anyway, and that's probably Hannah.
MC shows up to his concert and then you meet the first evil ex, Dylan. And MC is like oh they dated for a week in middle school and after she broke his heart, he kind of became the asshole we know him as now. (the only reason I'm picking Dylan first is because I think Matthew Patel is one of the more cringe exes and I just simply couldn't do that to anyone else in s4, plus after the exposition he just gets thrown away anyway).
Next, Bobby, Noah, and MC all go visit a local movie set and they see her next ex, Rafi. I don't know why I always picture Rafi with his like weird smouldering face, but that honestly works well with this character, if you've ever seen pictures of Chris Evans in this movie. Because there's a skateboarding aspect in this, I did consider it should be Jamal, but for the bit I already picked a s6 character so it had to be someone else lol.
Anyway, Rafi gets defeated by his arrogance and then Bobby's band is playing in a contest, where he sees his ex and her new band mate/boyfriend, Mason, who is also MC's ex. As for Bobby's ex, it doesn't matter too much but I could see it being Yasmin since she's also a singer, Priya because she canonically is a fan of Mason's band (i think?) and there are routes where she's initially coupled up with Bobby, or Elisa because I think on some s2 routes she goes for Bobby but also I just like her aesthetic compared to this character in the movie. Also I just think either of them look good next to Mason (maybe they don't fit personality wise but they'd look good)
So Mason gets defeated, probably not with the vegan thing (but if we switch Mason for Levi, I could believe that), but something silly other than physically beating him. Next ex is Bonnie, who is clingy as hell. I don't think we should keep the part where Ramona calls it her like college experimentation stuff because that's not a great stereotype, but I kinda like the idea that Bonnie thinks they were in a relationship and had something but MC is like, no, clearly not.
The next exes are the twins, and so I had no other choice than to make this Ozzy and Marshall. I also think MC probably drove them apart and then when they finally compared stories they finally became friends again and are out for vengeance. Anyway, they get defeated.
Last but not least, the ex to rival all exes, the titular character of s5, we have Suresh running this shit. He is so hung up over MC that he set up this whole league. Literally nothing about his character would make me think he'd do this (because this character in Scott Pilgrim is so malicious actually), but he is the "ex in the villa" so he's gotta be the final boss.

yanqing and jing yuan angst time :D
yanqing’s younger!twin getting kidnapped by sanctus medicus, but they dont realize this much later, they realize this when they get sent a voicemail with the reader crying and begging it to stop as they experiment on them
by the time they arrive to rescue the reader, they are strapped to an operating table, injuries and syringe marks all over their body, completely unconsicous because the experiments took a huge toll on them, thankfully they are alive and not mara-struck either, but in a comatose state, sadly no one can predict when (or if they are ever gonna) wake up
-----
A/N: First of all, who hurt you, Anon? And second of all, I apologize for this taking 5 years to finally be written. My HSR burn out is no joke. But anyways, thank you for the request and I hope you'll like it!<33 Content: Some descriptions of medical abuse/experimentation!, heavy angst, Hurt/no real comfort, Reader is Yanqing's twin (no physical description added), injuries, blood, mentions of death, just more suffering for Yanqing and Jing Yuan really Reader has no set pronouns! ((Not proofread!))
Tumblr media
It wasn't uncommon for you to be out later than you should be.
Often times you'd come home late into the night with a wide grin, slightly beat up from your long training hours, uttering a new, outlandish excuse everytime. Jing Yuan had gotten used to it over the years he had raised you and Yanqing, but when you didn't return home one night... he felt restless. He paced back and forth in his lavish home, still dressed in his uniform, whilst his ears drowned out the voices of his servants asking him to just rest for the night. You were a troublesome child, who often forgot the rules he had set for you. What difference did it make today?
But there was something different about it. Something that made Jing Yuan want to go out and look for you himself. Yanqing had already tried his luck, yet had found you nowhere. You weren't in the Estate. You weren't on your usual training grounds, not even on those only you two knew about. And you weren't in the sword market you often frequented either. You were just... gone. And that alone began to raise some warning bells for your brother too, who felt just as uneasy as his master.
He tried to reason however, that you might've just forgotten the time again. That maybe you've been held up by a friend or saw something in a nearby shop you liked. But the sun had disappeared a long time ago and there was no trace of you anywhere. Worse things were yet to come however, when a near out of breath Fu Xuan called in an emergency meeting with Jing Yuan and the young swordsmaster.
The air was tense, when they all gathered around the table, an unplayed voice recording shown on screen. Yanqing pulled on the collar of his shirt, his breathing a little laboured in fear of what he might just hear. He knew it was about you. It was unspoken, no one had even mentioned your name yet. But he knew it was true. No one moved to press the play button, until Jing Yuan moved his hand and did so. There was a small tremor in his hand, one that made even the blonde boy shiver.
Your voice made everyone flinch. Horrified pleas and cries filled everyone's ears and Yanqing swore he could've vomited from the sounds of it alone. It was mind breaking to hear you like that. He never thought you could scream like that, cry like that. It sounded distorted, like the cries of an injured animal more than that of a humans. Perhaps you were simply screaming out of instinct at that point, mind too far gone to process a thing beyond the pain.
And yet, you still cried out for Yanqing, then for Jing Yuan. You apologised for ever staying out late, swore you'd never do it again, swore you'd be good and obedient, never a minute off from curfew. You promised it to any god that would hear you, just for it all too end. Yanqing felt blood drip from his palm, where his nails digged into his skin. There was a low, evil laugh, a teasing hum following it. They recognised the voice as one of the leaders of Sanctus Medicus. Ofcourse they were behind such cruelty and yet Yanqing couldn't comprehend it.
The voice message ended abruptly and the silence after was deafening. Jing Yuan had not reacted once to any of it, his face calm and unreadable, when he glanced down at Yanqing. The boy gagged, his bloodied hand slapping over his mouth as he stumbled back and was stopped by a couple cloud knights that steadied them. Fu Xuan just stood there in silence, her eyes meeting his in a knowing way.
It was time to bring you back home.
--
Finding you was easy.
Mainly due to the fact, that your captors just simply gave them the address of the hell they've created for you. They were provoking them for their failures and their victory of swiping their most praised child from right under their noses. And it truly only set in, when they arrived and opened the door to the basement you were kept in. Yanqing had rushed in first, ignoring all warnings and only stopping when he heard the blood dripping off the table where your near unrecognisable form laid.
His hand swiped away the blood over your closed eyes, his over hand resting on your bruised chest, over your heart. He could feel it faintly rising and falling, a small moment of relief, even when he knew that the damage was most likely irreversible. His eyes shouldn't have continued to wander over your body and yet they did as a form of self punishment. He took in every bruise, every gash, every mark a syringe left behind. He gulped weakly, his throat so painfully dry. He felt ashamed, at how he couldn't mentally recognise you as his twin anymore.
Medics soon arrived on scene afterwards, quick to determine that you hadn't thankfully been Mara-struck, before they brought you to the hospital for emergency treatment. It took long, gruelling hours to stabilise you, that felt like eons for Yanqing and Jing Yuan, who had yet to give much of an reaction to the entire situation. He had to stay strong for the both of you at least. But it was hard to do that, when he saw you lay there in many bandages and countless devices hooked to you. Your heart was beating and yet he didn't allow himself to feel any relief. It was selfish, when there was no gurantee you would ever even wake up again.
The days blurred into weeks and then months.
But Yanqing never left your bedside, secretly hoping that if you did die, that he'd die in his sleep next to you as well.
-----
A/N: Alrightt... this was alot darker than I anticipated it to be, but I also have some rare couple hours of freetime, so there is that. I hope you guys liked it and thank you again for the request!

Random Reverse Runaways au headcanons
In no particular order! Mostly focused on the pre-runaway days, in Reverse Falls. A lot of characters aren't mentioned because this got long and I can't fit everything in. Feel free to send in an ask if you're curious about something/someone in particular.
The Gleeful twins were both homeschooled. Meanwhile, Gideon and Pacifica went to local public schools, same with Owen.
There wasn't a weirdmaggeon in the Reverse Falls timeline. Instead there was a failed attempt by Will Cipher to escape Reverend Ford. It went badly for everyone.
Gideon and Pacifica were supposed to go home after the summer ended. The Reverend made sure that didn't happen. Letting the troublemakers out of sight was not an option until he was sure they were no longer a problem. And then he forgot about them until they were one again.
Owen wasn't in town that first summer. He arrived a few years later. He could've gone back home to his father. But his father wasn't a great guy...
Dipper/Mason and Mabel were both bullies to the other kids growing up. Mabel was a mean girl and Mason just scared the shit out of everyone off stage. They had a grudge against the Pines siblings. Still do. But now it runs deeper than ever.
It goes both ways. The Pines siblings are resentful and aware of everything the Gleeful family has done and are capable of, to others and to them.
Gideon and Pacifica both have issues with food and food scarcity. Owen often had them over for dinner. His mom didn't mind. She worked so much, she barely noticed, but she seemed to like them when she was around
The Reverend is Southern Gothic as hell, a scam artist fire and brimstone preacher and miracle worker in a long dark coat. The whole of Reverse Falls is under his spell. Now that Dipper and Mabel are adults he's anxious about continuing to expand the family. Mabel hasn't found the right man (or woman, she adds sometimes). Dipper, on the other hand...
Speaking of Southern, Owen is actually from Alabama. Rough place to be an openly trans kid in 2012. He's still got a bit of an accent even now that he's an adult. Most of what he cooks is from his home region.
Nobody saw Will for a long time after the failed escape attempt. Even Dipper and Mabel never saw any sign of the guy. But sometimes, you could hear muffled screaming coming from their manor...
Yes, btw, Dipper still goes by Dipper. Only the Reverend calls him Mason.
After getting stuck in Reverse Falls, Pacifica and Gideon did seem to learn their lesson, for about a year or two. But one day, they watched the Mystery Tent from a distance
"We need to do something."
"Yeah... But what can we do?"
Cause problems on purpose, apparently.

Tumblr media
Since I have been rambling here a lot I will also ramble about my dear mdzs children
So these four are made because I joked about populating the female species in MDZS and then I made more...
Disclaimer: I am not Chinese so these names are very much like when Anime grabs random names for English characters. They don't make sense.
First RongQuan
Tumblr media
I completely forgot what Chinese characters I grabbed for her name (something that means melting, I think?
The design idea for her is that of a simple looking woman
She became a disciple because she wanted to and her father loves her very much he used his family ties to get her in. Upon entering, it became very clear that he has absolutely no talent for cultivation. This, and the well known fact that she's here because nepotism, made her the subject of many disciples' teasing. To compensate for her lack of talent she became a push over, doing many menial tasks to contribute to the sect. She's too tired to feel mad about the treatment most of the time.
Post-canon:
She's doing the same thing she's always done. Her mother fears that being involved with a sect riddled with so much scandal might ruin her marriage prospects. She thought about agreeing with her mother for a solid minute but ultimately decided that if men can't handle being involved with her as a Jin disciple, they can't handle her at all and politely rejected to do as her mother asked.
Lan FeiRi
Tumblr media
I also completely forgot what her name's Chinese characters are. (One of them is the character for sun, I think)
Her design idea is that of a fairy, I tried to make her hair have the silhouette of a butterfly for this. It's also why I chose something that would spell FeiRi lol
She is a child orphaned by a demonic cultivator and adopted by a Lan couple. She cultivated a little late so her cultivation isn't as good as it could've been but she's average on power, overall. She exudes nearly the same tranquil energy as Lan XiChen. This is just a facade though, she absolutely loves it when people she deems evil get the justice she thinks they deserve, she can be sadistic. The ultimate two-faced individual, she could be smiling on the outside but seething on the inside, caring on the outside but laughing out in joy over others' suffering on the inside.
Post canon:
She absolutely hates that the grandmaster of demonic cultivation is living just a few minutes away.
(she has one of my favorite designs among the mdzs ocs I made)
Nie QiaoLu
Tumblr media
Again, I forgot what her name means.
I designed her last. I didn't know if my designs are outrageous already so this is me dialing back down. But she looked too simple with straight hair so I made it wavy.
She is the strongest female cultivator in her age group, She is a distant relative of Nie Huaisang. She used to be a quick-tempered child but when the reality of the Nie cultivation sunk in, she sought to find a way to minimize the possibility of qi deviation. Instead of finding some new techniques she found Hanguang Jun. She thought, surely, by imitating him she will be less susceptible to qi deviations and so she went ahead and lived her life with such belief. As if the natural consequence trying to imitate one of the twin jades, her social skills were stunted and she is disconnected from her emotions.
Post canon:
She came back to rejoin society and the first thing she heard was Hanguang Jun's recent marriage. Her reaction was, "Oh. Congratulations to him, I guess?" She's still unaware of the things happening around her. Someone needs to anchor her to the ground. (Her head is so empty she might just float away, never to be seen again...)
Ok. The Jiang kids I made plenty of first of all:
Yu Lilai
Tumblr media
I do remember that her name is supposed to mean "beautiful future".
Lilai already has a whole post explaining her. She is my favorite to use of the bunch in the silly comic stuff I made because there's no stake in her. She's the kind of gag character you will see in an anime who has an eccentric yet loving and supportive family.
She's also my favorite of the bunch :3
I have no height chart for these kiddos anymore
Jiang Lian
Jiang RenJi (courtesy name)
Tumblr media
His given name means "to unite" and the courtesy name means "sturdy foundation"
He is a distant relative of the main Jiang family. His great great grandmother left the sect to live a civilian life away from Yunmeng. He reentered the Jiang sect when he was eight because he heard about Jiang Cheng's story and felt really bad for him. He wanted to help rebuild his ancestral home.
He is the responsible and ever-so-reliable Shixiong! He is the guard dog to the sheeps that are the baby disciples. Though he lacks Lilai's talent in combat or XinXue's silver tongue, he is the person the baby disciples trust the most. A sturdy leader, fitting his name.
Xiao XinXue
Tumblr media
You know how Wei Wuxian is abbreviated to WWX and Jiang Cheng is JC? Yeah. XinXue's name is just so it can be abbreviated to XXX. XinXue name means "new blood" I forgot what Xiao is supposed to mean though.
Her family was killed by demonic cultivators and Jiang Cheng saved her. She is also the first orphan the Jiang sect save whom they eventually took in as a disciple.
. She harbors a deep hatred for demonic cultivation and doesn't think anything is wrong with punishing them. In essence she represents the irl people who just hate Wei Wuxian and an answer to people who think demonic cultivation users are just poor unfortunate souls who had no choice.
She's wrong in some points and justified in other points. No one is telling her to let go of her anger but her friends, Lilai especially, are quick to tell her that she needs to direct that anger to the right place (and not to a man who was dead during the death of her family). She goes to RenJi to vent whenever she needs it.
(and RenJi is always there to tell Lilai that she really needs to be more gentle with her wording)
She's usually very mischievous. It's difficult to be mad at her because seeing her happy is a far cry from the catatonic girl they nursed back to consciousness. Surprisingly, she is the most nurturing of the disciples. It's an unspoken agreement that she handles the other traumatized kids they will save.
I planned to make more characters with funny abbreviations like, XD, LOL, OWO, etc but it's tiring to look for Chinese characters...
Finally, the nebulous existence of
Jiang Xie
Tumblr media
She never had a name first, then someone asked and I had to give her a name. Then I forgot what the name was and I have no internet to look. For the first time she's gonna get referred to by name in a drawing so I just put Xie and was done with it. Then I forgot that it was Xie lol. I finally looked up Chinese characters to make names for others and I named her MiFu (overflowing blessing, something like that) then I saw the comic again where she is Xie and well Xie it is. Thankfully it could mean harmony which fit her despite her chaotic tendencies.
She was never planned to be anything beyond the first comic thingy. As someone who only watched the worst version (the anime/manhua) finding out that the temple scene is different from what really happened, especially people's outrage about it compelled me to both make something silly about it that can comfort the traumatized grape. Lol.
Then some people really liked her, I did have some not funny ideas in my head so I just drew that. Sometimes others would comment stuff that gave me ideas so I made those. In a sense she's a group effort I guess. She just developed like that. She is a joke character at her very core though. I wanted to hit a balance of funny innocent children stuff without making her just a walking ball of gags.
Ultimately she's a good kid who likes helping people by suggesting solutions only children would think of (Jin Ling has no dad? Swear brotherhood with her so they can share her dad!) It usually doesn't help but it makes the receiver of the advice feel better more often than not. Promising to break the legs of her loved ones' bullies is her love language.

Onk spoilers/theories:
The lyrics for Mephisto and Fatal makes a lot more sense if the protagonist twins' parents were originally gods. This seems wacky but I have my reasons for keep bringing this up, it DOES all connect together
If you look at the official artwork of Ai, there are particularly many where she is depicted as an angel with wings. There was one drawing when the artist drew Ai after Fatal was released, right? Then it's safe to assume that the "Fatal/fatale" mentioned in the song is referring to Ai. I bought the artbook, and one of the pictures I remember had Ai positioned like the Virgin Mary in the center, with the twin protagonists as baby angels on either side... I've said this a lot, but I think she's a god who chose to live as a human because she "loves people".
In the lyrics of "Mephisto," there's a line, "I forgot who I lived as!" I probably said this in another post too earlier too-
Could it be that Hikaru forgot that he was originally a god? If you think that this character sings the song, interpreting it that way also makes sense.
This probably isn't Aqua. Aqua never forgot that he was Gorou. He just tries not to remember it, but it's always in his subconscience.
If there are characters that lived as something else but have forgotten about that fact entirely, I feel it'd be Ai and Hikaru.
Their backstory and family structure seem to be derived from Izanagi and Izanami, and their names or abilities appear to be inspired by Ame-no-Uzume and Sarutahiko. Anyway, both are god-like figures, and they are wed to one another, as husband and wife.
What I'm starting to think is that they could have been close from their past life as gods. Ai, like Ponyo, might've said, "I want to become human and live over there!" and hopped away into the human world. Hikaru, worriedly could've followed thinking "How can you go alone?" Due to the different flow of time between the human world and the divine realm, it seems they ended up with a one-year age difference. Their meeting and being together were destined from the start since they knew each other originally.
There is also another line in Mephisto that goes : Remember who you lived with!
Ai and Hikaru were probably originally a couple or close friends.
Then, both went through many hardships, and it seems Hikaru fell into despair, likely because of losing Ai, leading to his downfall.
Tsukuyomi, as another divine being, seems to be watching over them.
I think Tsukuyomi might have selected two favorable souls to reincarnate as this couple’s children and is trying to guide them back onto the right path (since both Ai and Hikaru caused trouble as gods). There might be more to this purpose as well.
As Ai was dying in the story, she told Ruby to become an idol, and Aqua to become an actor. This has been fulfilled.
The "star" in this manga is the object to which wishes are made in Mephisto, so it has the power to grant wishes. And Ai’s wish has come true.
Ai is likely a god and a star, and Hikaru is probably the same.
Also, when Hikaru appears, there are several mentions of wishes and gods. There must be something more to this..
+I think the entire lyrics of "Mephisto" are spoilers.
Hikaru’s goal might be to revive Ai, or if that's impossible, to return himself to being a star (god) like Ai.
To do this, it seems he needs to gather people who have the power of the stars (those with star eyes) and that’s why he’s doing all of this. It's probably really hard to accomplish, and that's why Fatal's lyrics sound really desperate saying "how much more do I need for things to be filled?" Mephisto's lyrics, if I remember correctly, mentioned of sad lights accumulating day by day? I think this guy must be collecting the lights that are necessary to either bring Ai back to life or let him return to being what he was originally (a star-god)and reunite with her there...
If I think about it this way, everything seems to fit together for me.
Hikaru wants to return to where Ai is or revive Ai so they can live together with their children, but he’s struggling because the conditions aren't met.
Isn’t "Mephisto" or "Fatal" ultimately a song where this person is crying about wanting to see his wife again? Haha, when listening to Will Stetson’s English cover, there are notably many lyrics about crying. I thought, wow, he cries a lot. And that description does fit Hikaru to me considering how he used to be.. He used to be a soft child
Hikaru seems like the type to cry more than Ai. If this character meets Ai, he’ll probably burst into tears I think. Ai is strong, resilient, and tough. Hikaru's character’s true nature is more sensitive. They used to be really cute together, I wonder if they could be like that way now too.
Whatever he's up to, I'm sure he does really love her from his reactions. I reread and examined his actions a lot and at least that part about him is genuine, idk about anything else but that I can believe

Second Color: Hybrid Legend Runners-up ~
Our runners-up this week are @bergdg, @real-aspen-hours, and @yourrightfulking!
Tumblr media
@bergdg — Tajic, Obzedat Champion
I almost forgot that Teysa was the other champion for the Orzhov, whoops. Regardless: once more this is exactly what the prompt was looking for, and we've got an awesome card on our hands here. I think that there were one or two other guild leaders/maze runners that were being thrown around. I like the notion of having all the leaders being swapped in some alternate world, where the circumstances led them to being tossed and turned and thrown into these strange situations in the eternal city.
I almost wish there was more of a mechanical connection to either Tajic in some way—or at least a kind of callback. Of course I don't necessarily want an inverted or direct response, but I feel that there could've been a bit more of a nod or nudge. Boros is pretty solidly in the aggressive department, though, so I wonder what one could've done. As we have it, though, the card you've made is an excellent midrange legend, a great finisher, perfect for the hybrid, and strong enough to brew with. Honestly can't ask for much more as far as the nitty-gritty goes.
Tumblr media
@real-aspen-hours — Zimone, Pyrotechnician
Isn't it annoying how "once per turn" is an awesome English turn of phrase, but it doesn't ever appear on cards? I've done the same thing so many times... But it groks, and I'm on your team. What I'm slightly mechanically worried about is the fact that, if you're hellbent, this is just a one-sided Howling Mine. Still—easy fix, right? Make it an "if you do" kinda thing and say that they only get to draw if they've discarded. The card draw from the original Zimone was direct and constructive, and this one is searching and creative. Zimone's original activations were calculated and activated, and this one is about the right experiments at the right time. I mean, it's a pretty perfect inversion that captures both her character and her card in a world where she's on the Prismari track.
Some folks pointed out the flavor text, and I really do have to commend the lighthearted mood that you've made here. Zimone would be brilliant no matter what school she went to, and I think a world where she exercises in experiments instead of mathematical study is a fantastic move. The alternate Strixhaven might not have changed much, but the characters within matter more. I wonder what the tracks would be like with allied-color combinations... Hm... But this is enough conjecture for a stamp of approval. Well—once you change the last sentence, too. Right now you're literally just exiling and countering the spell. It should read: "If that spell would be put into your graveyard, exile it instead."
Tumblr media
@yourrightfulking — Geralf and Gisa, Tragic Siblings
More semi-lighthearted fare? I suppose that it's fair, considering the slightly distorted nature of these worlds, but regardless. I want to pause and say that the mechanics of this card are a little lacking for me. If the white card draw is indeed allowed (and I'm honestly not sure it is, even limited to one turn), then that's fine, but I wonder if having it look at spirit tokens or enchantments might've been a little better for the hybrid blend. Cost reduction is totally fine, though. It's a perfectly fine card to slot into the archetype, and I think I like how you chose to go with the same world but with a singular different timeline moment, rather than imply a whole new AU.
The real tragedy of Gisa's death is made strangely peaceful here, even on Innistrad. Geralf is a good brother, though, and he always has been. He's also always been brilliant, and I love that you've changed the dynamic completely. I have a few friends that are deeply invested in sibling and twin dynamics, and would absolutely adore this card. Personally, I don't have the same ardor as them, but there's something about how Geralf would have to constantly protect his sister from being released to the Blessed Sleep, how he's so devoted here to the study of spirits, that he can stay with Gisa as they have their fun. I think that you've touched upon a deep and interesting pairing here. Great job.

Commentary as it comes. See y'all later. @abelzumi

AITA for not smiling at my roommate?
So this is from back in September ofc but whatever I'm here now. So me (18nb) and my 7 roommates (all ~18F) are all college freshmen sharing a dorm suite (4 bedrooms, 2 people in each) and we're mostly all strangers to each other except for two separate sets of besties. Only one set is relevant here and that's N, my roommate, and K, the focus of this story.
So our first month of school and living together went pretty well! We were all getting along and hanging out, walking to classes and going to dinner together. And then out of nowhere K texts our groupchat, asking for a "family meeting" that evening. Which stresses everyone out obviously, because what the hell could have happened? Was she okay??
Anyway long conversation short- she called a meeting to tell us that she felt we were excluding her and that some of us were being purposefully rude and unfriendly to her.
She would go to her twin sister's suite (yes they were in separate suites) to hang out a lot, so if we were doing something we wouldn't interrupt her, and i guess she felt excluded from that?? We didn't do much though. And there was a conversation we had in her room with her roommate but without K, but that was just a coincidence because we all heard drama(unrelated) and flocked over there, and K wasn't in the suite. She walked in on the middle of our convo, we said hey and continued, then she left. But she said she specifically felt excluded here???
And for being rude, this was partially directed at her bestie N, but mostly our roommate C and maybe me. C and I were sitting next to each other and K just gestured at us at first. Supposedly N was ignoring her, but N had told me before that she felt like K was being cold to her, ignoring her texts and such. Specifically C and I apparently weren't greeting and smiling at her when we saw her? I couldn't think of a time this happened so I'm pretty sure this is directed at C, but we'll get to me in a sec. C definitely was a bitch (but that's irrelevant here) but she said something about having a hard life and not being a smily person AND that the specific instance that K brought up, C didn't say anything to her bc she thought that K had fallen asleep on the living room couch.
So back to me, i might have been rude and just not realized it? I don't have a very large smile and I'm quiet, but i also have a reputation for being a huge bitch. If i don't like someone, i don't hide it unless i have to (like if I'm forced to work with them or they're a teacher or etc) I didn't quite dislike K yet though, but she had made some strangely classist comments towards me (don't know how she clocked that i was the poorest of us) and seemed uncomfortable after i confirmed that I'm bi (she saw a rainbow flag on the desk and asked, she doesn't know about the gender lol) but yeah so i was starting to dislike her, but i didn't really know what to make of her yet. Point is, i totally could've been rude at some point and just not realized/ forgot.
Anyway anyway, she presented her issues, we rebutted them, she left the room a little upset, her twin sister comes in and starts yelling at us for upsetting K, we get mad at the twin because this is none of her business and we think K is overreacting. Eventually we give a half-hearted apology to K (sorry that you felt hurt, we didn't do anything intentionally) and K apologizes for it going so far. K's distant for the rest of the year and none of us try to bridge that gap.
So i guess this is less "was i the asshole before this" and more "am i the asshole now" for not reaching out and definitely excluding her and being rude to her after she called this meeting. We're not gonna share a suite regardless (upper classmen dorms are smaller) so this is just for my piece of mine.
(Also, she's a business major)
What are these acronyms?

Tumblr media
Her names Mauve Tourmaline Cookie, made her a few weeks back. Here's some info bout her!(p.s I forgot the creators username on this platform but this character is related to their characters of the Tourmaline family):
Mauve Tourmaline Cookie was a member of House Tourmaline. She was the twin sister of Purple Tourmaline Cookie, and sister Maroon Tourmaline Cookie, wife of Salmon Topaz Cookie, and mother of Lavender Tourmaline Cookie, Colorless Tourmaline Cookie, Achroite Tourmaline Cookie, and Magenta Tourmaline Cookie. She was well known for being the sister of the queen, as well as for her kind and sympathetic personality towards others, no matter their status in the Siren Kingdom. Unfortunately, she disappeared during the Gem-Siren war, leaving her family distraught over her disappearance. Some say she was killed, others say she's being held captive by the Gem Mermaids. To this day no one knows what happened to her, and she hasn't been seen, nor heard from since that day...
Personality
Mauve Tourmaline Cookie was a kind and sympathetic Cookie, many looked towards her for comfort when they needed it most and she'd gladly do so which made many in the Siren Kingdom adore her, just as much as they did her sister. She cared deeply about her family and would do anything to protect them, even if it cost Mauve Tourmaline Cookie her life. Unlike most, she did try to be on neutral terms with the Gem Mermaids when she was younger, but after an incident that almost cost her her life she grew to hate them as well. This could've been a key factor in her disappearance later on during the Gem-Siren war.
Backstory
As a young siren, Mauve Tourmaline Cookie along with her twin sister Purple Tourmaline Cookie, and brother Maroon Tourmaline Cookie, got along quite well. They'd always be playing around and doing what little ones do, but things changed a bit after their parents were murdered in front of them by Gem Mermaids. They now only had each other, things were rough but they managed. When they were older they started doing their own things and what not, they still hung out every now and then. One day, Mauve decided to try and be on neutral terms with the Gem Mermaids and try and forget about her hatred towards them but unfortunately things didn't go so well and she almost got killed. After that day, her hatred for them only grew more and more. As time flew by she soon met her siblings crushes/spouses, at first she was a bit skeptical because she had gotten protective of them but she warmed up to them eventually.
Love at first sight?
When Mauve was in her late teens she met Salmon Topaz Cookie and his companion Water Bloom Cookie as they were out sailing and she got curious, the two almost instantly clicked and they began hanging out more and more often. A few years past and they started dating, the two loved each other dearly and in their early twenties they got married. Sometime during their time together she made him one or three pearl necklaces of lost pearls she found on the sea floor, it was one of her ways of showing affection.
Little rays of sunshine
Soon enough Mauve and her husband had a four children named Lavender Tourmaline Cookie, Colorless Tourmaline Cookie, Achroite Tourmaline Cookie, and Magenta Tourmaline Cookie(all at different times-ish). she loved her children dearly and could often be seen cradling the young ones whilst singing the lullaby "You are my sunshine". Her children were her pride and joy, she swore to always protect her little rays of sunshine even if it cost her her life. She made a lot of things for her little girs and boys, one of them being a necklace with their initials engraved into it.
Gem-Siren war
During the Gem-Siren war she helped as many of her sisters people as she could, but amidst the chaos she had disappeared. No one knew where she had gone or what'd happened to her, some say she was killed whilst others say she was taken and is being held hostage by the Gem Mermaids. Either way, no one's seen her or hear from her ever since. Devastated, her twin sister made a memorial for her for she believed that her twin had died and swore to avenge her. Mauve's little rays of sunshine was left without a mother and was instead raised by their now widowed father, and of course they knew who their mother was and what she was known for. Only things that remain of her is what she left behind, her children, her memories, and the things she had made.

Chapter 9: Even Bigger Fraud Than Stan
"Hey, have you seen my pants?"
She stood there, deadpanned, as Stan asked her in his boxers. His top half was wearing the classic Mr. Mystery shirt and coat, all that is missing is his pants. "No," Y/n replied, sipping on the soda. "Where are Dipper and Mabel?"
Stan looked around the kitchen for where his pants could've been misplaced. "The kids are in the room with the wax figures. They have been there since this morning."
Y/n glanced at the clock hung on the wall. She didn't even notice that it's afternoon already. "Oh?" she wondered, "How did they find it?"
"Eh, I have no idea. I even forgot I've been keeping 'em in the Shack!" he replied, marching to the living room. He kept muttering, "Where the heck did my pants go?" under his breath.
"Where did you last put it then?!" Y/n exclaimed, getting tired of him searching.
"I don't remember! That's why I'm looking for it!"
She left him alone by himself. Watching him looking at every crevice for his large pants even got her tired so she went to the room where the twins were.
A shiver ran down her spine as she remembered the faces of those wax figures. It really crept her out and she doesn't even know who these people were.
The door was already open when she arrived at the hall. Soos, Dipper, and Mabel in a beret were standing in front of a wax statue. Y/n took a casual sip of her drink.
"Y/n! There you are," Mabel greeted once she saw her. The girl in the sweater dashed towards her friend and grabbed her wrist before pulling her in front of the statue. "What do you think?"
Y/n's jaw dropped as the contents of her Pitt Cola had escaped her open mouth and to the ground.
"Woah!" Mabel exclaimed. "I guess my work is jaw dropping, huh?"
Stan entered the scene, now with his pants on. "I found my pants but now I'm missing my- woa- ha- AH!" He fell to the ground and scrambled away once he noticed the wax figure that looked a lot like his twin brother.
It's not him, Stan. Calm down.
"So, what'd you think?" Mabel asked Stan.
He had to ease his quickening pulse before responding, "I think... the Wax Museum's back in business!"

All of the people in the Mystery Shack helped transfer all the wax statues outside on a makeshift stage, with banners and chairs already set up.
"Ugh. So creepy," Y/n muttered under her breath as she lifted wax Sherlock Holmes, the last person, to the stand. "Never liked them in the first place."
"In the first place? Have you seen them before?" Mabel said behind her. She must've overheard.
"No. I- I've seen them on TV. I just don't like how hyper-realistic they looked."
Nice save.
"Oh, okay. I think they look cute though!" Mabel replied, holding her hands together with a huge grin. "I hope people will show up."
"I'm sure they will," Y/n reassured, "People will want to be in the reopening of the amazing Wax Museum."
Her sentence was dripping with sarcasm, but Mabel was too much of a sweetheart to notice.
Rest assured, people did come, although Y/n had a feeling that they only came because of "free pizza" that she's sure Stan wouldn't be able to provide.
"You all know me, folks! Town darling, "Mr. Mystery." Please, ladies, control yourselves!" Stan said over the microphone. As you know, I always bring the people of this fair town novelties and befuddlements, the likes of which the world has never known. But enough about me. Behold... me!" He walked towards the clothed statue and uncovered it, revealing a wax replica of himself.
Soos pressed multiple keys on his keyboard, emitting various fanfare sound effects. Two people in the crowd clapped while someone coughed.
"And now a word from our own Mabelangelo!"
"It's Mabel." she grinned, taking the microphone. "Thank you for coming! I made this sculpture with my own two hands! It's covered in my blood, sweat, tears, and other fluids!"
The crowd winced as they expressed their disgust, "Ugh, ew!"
"Hehe. Yeah..." Mabel chuckled. "I will now take questions! You there!" She pointed at the familiar hobo.
Old Man McGucket asked about the eventual wax-man uprising and Mabel wittily provided the answer. Followed by Toby Determined who was shamed by Stan who pointed out that his microphone was a turkey baster.
"Shandra Jimenez, a real reporter." A woman stood up with her cameraman. "Your fliers promised free pizza with admission to this event," she announced before showing said flier, "Is this true?"
The murmurs in the crowds resounded, until it had transformed into chatters of complaint and protests of pizza. Stan quickly exited the scene with his trustworthy smoke bomb and escaped with the box of admission fee in his grabby hands.
Dipper and Wendy sat by the booth where the admission box once lied. They both look concerned and a bit scared, while Y/n just looked out of it. Mabel enthusiastically placed her elbow on the table with a proud smile. "I think that went well."
The sun had set and the moon had risen. Owls were hooting as Stan was spouting old expressions. "Hot pumpkin pie! Look at all this cash!" He said, "Now you kids wash up. We got another long day of fleecing rubes tomorrow. Go, go!" He pushed the twins outside the room before sighing and placing an arm on Wax Stan's shoulder. "Kids."
"You, uh, got something going on there with good 'ol Wax Stan, huh?"
Stan jumped at the sound of her voice and turned around to see her behind the lounge chair. "Sheesh, you almost gave me a heart attack, and hey you should be washin' up, too, kid."
Y/n crossed her arms, ignoring his order. "I know we saw the same thing... with... this guy," she referred to the frozen smile that belonged to the wax figure in the room. "He really looked like you, you know? He could be your twin."
"Oup, no. No, no, no." Stan shook her head. "We're not talking about that. We're here to relax and watch my favorite show, Ducktective," he said grumpily, getting the remote and sitting down with wax Stan standing beside him at a weird angle.
Y/n stared at him switching through the channels. She was about to go back to her room to sleep when he spoke again.
"So, you gonna watch Ducktective or what?"
A hint of a smile appeared on her face. Wordlessly, she took a seat on the ground by Stan's feet just as Ducktective captured the criminal. The show has been their favorite ever since it premiered and they just find peace in watching it together — though they watch it to make fun of it.
Stan laughed at the corny catchphrase from the show. "Stupid duck! Well, I'm gonna use the john." he stood up and stepped away from the two of them. Y/n stood up as well, dusting her clothes. "Guard him while I'm gone, alright?" Stan told her before leaving the room.
She rolled her eyes. "Why does he act like it's a real person?" She took Stan's seat beside the figure. "Sure, he may look like him– a lot but it's not... real."
Y/n reached and slotted her hand around the wax statue's arm and leaned slightly. She chuckled weakly. "Heh, miss you. You're probably gonna be looking like an old man now just like your brother. Meanwhile, I'm still the same thirteen year old me that you left behind.
Might need an explanation once you come back..." Fatigue gradually overtook her. She really shouldn't fall asleep whilst clinging onto Ford- she meant Wax Stan, but she couldn't help but feel comfortable at the moment. She missed this.
She must've been a heavy sleeper because the next thing she heard, Stan screamed, "NOOOOO!"
Y/n scrambled up to her feet and didn't realize what was going on until she saw Wax Stan already on the ground... with its head gone.
The twins ran to the scene, Y/n stood there with a puzzled expression while Stan was shaking grimly. "Wax Stan has been murdered!" he turned to Y/n with a panicked look. "Y/n, what did you do?!"
"Me?! I didn't do anything!" she emphasized. "I fell asleep and the next thing I knew this guy's head was chopped off!"
Mabel fainted dramatically with the back of her head on her forehead. Dipper caught her before saying, "Everybody, calm down. Let's call the cops and see if they can help."
Surely enough, the cops arrived. They questioned the events before said murder, and Stan nervously told his point of view, "The three of us were just watching a show when I went to the bathroom. And when I come back, BLAMO! He's headless!"
"My expert handcrafting besmirched." Mabel kneeled next to Wax Stan's "corpse", carressing it gently. "BESMIRCHED!"
Dipper comforted his sister. "Who would do something like this?"
Blubs drank from his cup of coffee, "Why don't you ask the only person who was present at the scene of crime?"
They all looked at Y/n, who was already looking offended. Dipper frowned. "I don't think Y/n would have done this."
She smiled, grateful that he could trust her. Her happiness shifted to anger as she faced the cops again. "You can't accuse me of murder when you don't even have the evidence!"
"That's true!"
Blubs remained dismissive, "Then unless you don't think that this girl here is guilty, let's face it: this case is unsolvable."
"WHAT?!" Dipper, Mabel, and Stan exclaimed.
Stan pointed an accusatory finger at them. "You take that back, Sheriff Blubs!"
"You're kidding, right?" Dipper said, "You're not even gonna do investigations and search for more evidence?"
"Oh, Dipper can help!" Mabel chimed in, supporting her brother. "He's really good. He figured out who was eating our tin cans!"
"All signs pointed to the goat."
Even Stan wanted Dipper to help, only for the offer to be turned down by both the sheriff and the deputy. They laughed in his face, making fun of Dipper because he was a little kid.
They really shouldn't be underestimating him.
"Adorable. You should leave the investigating to the grownups," was their final words before being called to attend an emergency.
Determined Dipper turned to his sister with a fire like no other. "That's it. Mabel, you and I are going to find the jerk who did this and get back that head! And we'll see who's adorable." he seethed before unconsciously releasing an adorable sneeze that could've been mistaken for a kitten sound.
Y/n will also agree that he's adorable. His sneeze was adorable.
The twins started transforming the living room into what appears to be a crime scene. Mabel was photographing the headless wax figure repeatedly, while Dipper was pinning pictures to his corkboard.
Stan walked out of the room, depressed. Y/n wanted to go console him, but she was stopped by Dipper. "Hey, wait. Y/n."
"What's up?"
"I know that you wouldn't do this, but what happened at the time of murder? What were you doing?"
She was irritated, but she replied truthfully, "I was sleeping. I didn't know what happened. I didn't hear a sound because I was asleep."
"Well, wax Stan lost his head and it's up to us to find it and prove your innocence. Would you like to join us?"
As much as she would like to go be with them, she has to prioritize. And right now, Stan is her first priority. "I don't know," she began. "There's not much room for one more detective, don't you think?"
"But-"
"I'm sure Sherlock Holmes and John Watson will handle it." Yes, she read the books. "The question is, who is Holmes... and who is Watson?" she left without another word.
The twins stared at one another before Mabel smiled. "I'm Sherl-!"
"No," Dipper immediately turned down. "Mabel, focus. We have to solve this case. The murderer could be anyone."
Mabel's eyes widened. "Gasp. Even us!"
"In this town, anything is possible," Dipper muttered, taking out his journal and skimming through it. The book was full of codes and ciphers that he might use to find clues.
"Hey, look, a clue!" Mabel's voice brought him out the pages. She pointed down to the ground they were standing on.
"Footprints in the shag carpet!" Dipper marveled. "It looks like one of the shoes has a hole in it." Their eyes noticed the marks all leading somewhere behind the big, yellow chair.
The twins found an ax just lying there on the ground. This must be the murder weapon!
To clarify, they took the object and delivered it to Soos the handyman. He examined it thoroughly before concluding, "In my opinion... this is an ax."
Mabel suddenly got an idea. "Wait a minute. The lumberjack!"
They began to piece their assumptions together enough to go out and find the aforementioned lumberjack. Soos had told them about the biker bar.
With newfound information, they walked out the Shack in unison. They passed by Stan who was struggling with bringing out a coffin from his car trunk.
"Hey, give me a hand with this coffin, will ya? I'm doing a memorial with wax Stan. Something small, but... classy," he said, giving it all his all until the coffin eventually was pulled out.
Dipper clutched the straps of his duffel bag tighter. "Sorry, Grunkle Stan, but we have a big break in the case!" he emphasized with a clench of his fist.
"Break in the case!"
"We're heading into town to interrogate the murder."
"Oh, well in that case, do me a quick favor and fetch Y/n for me? This coffin is surprisingly heavy."
Mabel sprinted inside the shack, loudly shouting Y/n's name. "Y/n! Stan needs you!"
"I hear ya!"
And that was Mabel's cue to leave and regroup with her brother. "She's coming!"
Stan placed his hands on his waist. "I know this is dangerous and I would honestly forbid you from going if I am a responsible parent... good thing I'm an uncle! Avenge me, kids!
AVENGE ME!"
The kids took off, with Mabel carelessly swinging around the ax that they found. Stan watched them with an almost proud look on his face.
"You said you need me?"
He glanced beside him and it was Y/n, in the flesh. "What took you so long?"
"I was in the bathroom, jeez!"
Stan scoffed playfully. "You're probably performing another album from ABBA in the shower. Not surprised."
"Do you need me or not?" she glared at him.
"Help me carry this thing," he said before lifting up the other end of the box.
Y/n rolled her eyes but went to the opposite end and brought it to her chest anyway. "Put respect to their name. It's Number One All-Time Icelandic Pop Sensation BABBA."
"Right. How could I forget? You always play it in the basement. I swear, the twins might hear the sounds from the attic."
"Oh, shut your yaps and tell me why you need to set up a funeral for this wax statue that reminds you of your twin brother?"
Stan fixed his gaze on Y/n and her direct question. He stopped moving, but she knew he wasn't mad at her for essentially touching a nerve. He exhaled a sigh. "Would you mind letting me do this just once?"
He never said anything else, but she understood. It may look and sound weird, but the intention behind it was deeply saddening. It's like he wanted to do a proper farewell... in case of it being true.
"And, hey, doesn't he look like... your teacher? Your boss? Your-"
"He's my mortal enemy now, Stan," she cut off, a playful grin on her face. They positioned the coffin over two stools. Soos was cleaning the floors.
"Oh," Soos said once he saw the casket. He frowned deeply. "I'll... go and set up the chairs."
Y/n placed her hand on her hips. "Where are the twins anyway?"
"Oh, they're off to find the killer."
"What?"
Soos appeared behind her again. "Yeah, you know, the one who... ch-chopped... Mr. Wax Pines'... head. I heard them say that they're doing it to clear your name."
Her heart leapt at the prospect of them attempting to prove her innocence. She appreciated the effort of going out and probably questioning everyone in town, but she knew. She knew that no human could do this and escape in record time. No human in Gravity Falls, that is.
It was already late at night when the mini podium for Stan was set up. Dipper and Mabel eventually returned home, apparently with nothing to share. Y/n sat beside Mabel, who sat glumly holding an ax.
As Stan regained his composure, Y/n leaned in closer to Mabel and whispered, "Did something happen? Why the long face?"
"We thought we cracked the case and blamed Toby Determined for a crime he didn't even commit," Dipper answered for his sister, sighing. "Those cops were right about me."
Stan cleared his throat loudly and began his eulogy with sad organ music in the background, before Mabel or Y/n could object.
"Kids, Soos, lifeless wax figures... Thank you all for coming."
Soos dramatically blew his nose on a napkin.
"Some people might say it's wrong for a man to love a wax replica of himself."
"They're wrong!" Soos screamed, pointing an accusatory finger.
Stan tried to coax him. "Easy, Soos," he said before turning to wax Stan who lay still on a coffin. Its iconic pose of a thumbs up stuck out. "Wax Stan, I hope you're pickin' pockets in wax heaven."
This made Y/n frown. Stan was visibly upset, and she could tell it wasn't a joke to him. He took off, sniffing despondently. "I'm sorry, I got glitter in my eye!" he exclaimed as he dashed out of the room.
"Dude...!" Soos cried, chasing after Stan as he sobbed also.
Y/n stood up, looking at both Dipper and Mabel. "I have to check on him in case he does something crazy."
She walked away, straight towards the living room, where Stan sat glumly. His glasses were perched on top of his hair, and he rubbed his eyes with his knuckles. Soos stood next to him, attempting to offer him a napkin.
"No, Soos. You need it more than I do," Stan said, sniffling.
She walked into the room. He gave her a quick glance before returning his gaze to the ground. Y/n motioned for Soos to return home, and she'd take care of it. He nodded and walked away, closing the gift shop door behind him.
It was quiet except for Stan's sniffles. Y/n gave him time to let it out. She's seen him cry before– many times now. It makes him the more emotional, empathic person out of the Pines twins.
If you think it's rare to see Stan cry, then it is incredibly anomalous to see even a glimpse of Ford letting out a single tear.
The first time Stan cried was, of course, the first night of his brother's disappearance. She could hear the bawling from her room. He was completely devastated and he always blamed himself.
Every other night for the last thirty years, Stan had grown to be comfortable to be himself around Y/n. Comfortable enough for him to cry a river. She's the only one who understands what he's going through.
She leaned against the doorframe of the living room, staring at a wall painting. Stan was constantly wiping his tears away. "I..." he began, but it got cut off with a sharp exhale. "I just– really, really miss him, you know?"
"Yeah," she replied quietly.
"I don't even know if he's alive out there. What even is out there? On the other side?"
He has asked this exact same question a thousand times, and even though Y/n is vague with her answers every time, it would always end it with, "He's alive."
"I hope."
"I know he's alive," she said. "Sure, there might be aliens and other dimensional lizards and whatnot, but he is the smartest guy in the world. He knows what to do."
Stan kept to himself. Looking down, he ran his thumb across the rim of the glasses he recognized as Ford's. "You know, I'm really glad you're here ."
"Happy to be of service, old man."
They stayed within their comfortable silence.
Meanwhile, the twins faced the sentient wax figures that were all staring them down menacingly. Wax Sherlock Holmes had just recounted their heinous history up to the time of the murder.
"So you were trying to murder Grunkle Stan for real?!"Dipper asked in disbelief.
"And you could've almost killed Y/n, too!" Mabel exclaimed, lifting her forefinger. "You made her look so guilty that the cops almost arrested her!"
"Enough!" Wax Sherlock bellowed, "Now that you know our secret, you must die."
His pupils vanished as his eyeballs rolled. The other wax figures joined him and marched slowly, grunting like zombies.
Dipper and Mabel felt cornered, stepping back from them. "What do we do?!" Mabel panicked.
"I don't know!"
"What the heck is going on here?!"
Everyone came to a halt and looked at the door where Y/n stood. She looked perplexed as she assessed the situation.
"Y/n. watch out!" Mabel screamed, flailing her hands around. "Wax Sherlock Holmes was the real murderer. All of the wax figures are alive!"
Hm. Y/n narrowed her eyes on them. "I've always known you guys were creepy."
Wax Sherlock fumed, "Oh you kids are driving me up the wall. Attack!"
Half of the wax army charged towards the twins, while the rest rushed over to Y/n, who skillfully dodged them before kicking their limbs apart. Wax Thomas Edison yelled out a curse when she punched his head loose and went in a different direction.
"Y/n, use this!" Dipper threw a hot fire iron at her, and she grabbed the handle just as Wax Sherlock brought a sword down on her head. She deflected the blow before swinging her own weapon at him.
The two of them fought their way out of the room, inadvertently leading themselves to the attic, where the fight raged on. Every strike from Y/n was deflected, and Wax Sherlock continued forward until she was pushed up against the wall.
He pointed the sharp blade to her nose. "I know you're still the same little girl you were ten years ago," he said, and it couldn't help but send a shiver down her spine.
Because the fire iron was gradually losing its heat, she realized that killing him with it would be pointless. She looked out the window next to Wax Sherlock, the light reflecting off it.
So she rolled under him and escaped through the window and onto the Shack's roof. Wax Sherlock pursued the girl with the sole intention of murdering her. They fought until she was forced to retreat and stall for more time. He continued to spout more British slang before darting towards her, cornering her once more.
She glanced to her right and saw a twinkle of sunlight.
Wax Sherlock turned to face her, his sword poised above his head, ready to strike. "We all have secrets that we keep hidden, and yours is bound to be revealed; it's just a matter of time!"
"I'll let you in on a little secret: I adore watching the sun rise."
"Watching- what?!" Wax Sherlock shrieked as he realized that this was all a trap.
In his final act, he attempted to swing down, only for Y/n to literally stop the blade with her hand. Wax Sherlock quipped briefly before being knocked to the ground by her kick.
"Any final words?" she asked as she let go of the sword. His lower half was already slipping off the shingles.
"Shut your festering gob, you sniveling- grmmm!"
The rest of him melted into liquid until it all fell down to the ground.
"Gross."
She walked back to the parlor where Stan now stood. "Y/n!" The twins exclaimed. "Are you okay? What happened?"
She shrugged casually, smirking a bit. "Heh, you should see the other guy," she said before making a melting sound and moving slowly.
The twins chuckled at her joke but at the same time, glad that she was alright. "So, do you also want an affectionate noogie from Grunkle Stan?" Dipper asked.
***
"Who?"
"The 'child psycho' Gideon Gleeful," Stan told Y/n, getting the both of them Pitt colas. They were working so hard with the portal, tackling the parts for it. She didn't remember who brought in cards, but the next thing they did was play poker all night. She didn't remember who was in the lead either.
"What about him?"
Stan grumbled. "You know the monster's been terrorizing me ever since he rolled into town, and now the kids are checking out the competition with his so-called 'Tent of Telepathy'," he said the last part in exaggerated quotes.
"Woah, calm down," she said, coaxing him, "Maybe they're just seeing if it's the real thing. We all know he's a sham."
He sighed. "You're right." He took a sip of his can before retreating to his office. "I'll be in here in case you need me."
"Don't worry, buddy. You just relax," Y/n answered back.
Just as Stan left the room, the back door opened and the twins entered. "Y/n! Where have you been!?"
"Sorry, I... overslept," she trailed off, "But, hey! You're back. How was the trip?"
"Oh, Y/n, you should have seen it!" Mabel gushed, rushing towards her. "Gideon was the cutest! He had this little cape and sang in rhymes! He even guessed my name! He truly is a child psychic."
Y/n and Dipper exchanged glances. "Is that so..." she hummed, looking at Mabel's sweater with the letters M A B E L sewn into it. "He must've been really entertaining."
"She is easily impressed," Dipper pointed out, crossing his arms before walking to the kitchen.
Before going to the table by the living room, Y/n went to the fridge and got another can of cola. The boy took a glass of water and sat in the other chair at the far end of the table.
The two sat in comfortable silence until Mabel came back with sparkly gems plastered on her entire face, from her eyelids to the inside of her mouth. "Check it out, guys! I successfully bedazzled my face!" She struggled to even manage a single blink with the jewels stuck.
"That was quick."
"Is that... permanent?" Dipper asked.
Mabel frowned. "I'm unappreciated in my time."
Someone knocked on the door and the three looked at one another. "Somebody answer that door!" Stan shouted from the other room.
"I'll get it!" Mabel yelled back, easily scrubbing off the colorful stones and heading to the door.
It turned out to be Gideon on the other side, asking Mabel on a tour of his dressing room. The two hung out and played make-ups until afternoon. Later, Gideon invited her once again to come and sightsee the entire town from the roof of his warehouse. They even brought their own pair of opera glasses.
She just didn't think Gideon would ask her out on a real date. She had a good time with him, but she never liked him in that way. Mabel thought this kid was creepy as he drew her into a hug and unabashedly sniffed her hair.
The next day, she and Dipper were playing video games when the doorbell rang again. Mabel replied, opening it to reveal the head of a horse peering inside. Gideon sat atop the horse, wearing a cowboy hat and a sickening grin.
And they were off to some probably expensive restaurant that Gideon bribed the staff into doing everything he asked.
"Hey!" Stan exclaimed that morning, getting the attention of Dipper, Wendy, and Soos. "What the jackal is Mabel doing in the paper next to that greasy pickpocket Gideon?" he aggressively pointed at the large picture in the first page of the newspaper.
Wendy and Soos were excited about it, Stan was exasperated, while Dipper was a little scared of him right now. Y/n was nowhere to be found.
Stan went out as well to deal with the whole 'dating grandniece' situation. The three were left to themselves, until they had to go and do their own thing.
Dipper went back inside the living room to do some reading. He was already in the ghost section when he felt someone enter the room.
"Oh, hey, Dipper."
He looked up and saw Y/n with a cup of coffee this time. "Y/n! Hi."
She sighed and yawned. Even though she had only slept for 30 minutes, she felt a surge of rage in her veins when she saw the Journal 3 in his hands. "What are you reading?" she asked, sitting across from him in the chair. They had always sat at this table, sometimes in different seats, but their conversation was always about the journal.
"Oh, I'm just trying to catch on to some ghost categories. Can't believe there's 10! The author must've experienced all of them!"
How'd you think he would write all of that down if he didn't go through them?! I was there with him.
Y/n didn't realize she was glaring at Dipper, but she rationalized it as her being insane from lack of sleep. So she slurped the coffee silently but angrily.
"Are you okay? Looks like you stayed up all night."
She couldn't tell him that she had spent the entire morning attempting to stabilize the energy distribution of the Shack and the portal. Energy was required for the portal to remain idle, while electricity was required for the house.
"Just like you, I was also trying to catch on some... reading," Y/n replied once she had her thoughts together. "Quantum Physics."
"You're already studying in summer? What?" Dipper was grinning from ear to ear. "What grade are you in?"
Grade? She didn't know what that term meant.
"Huh?"
The employee door opened from the gift shop, and Mabel appeared gloomy as she carried a lobster past the two of them.
"Hey!" Dipper called, his smile never left his face albeit being slightly confused from Y/n's response. "How did it go?"
"I don't know. I have a lobster now," Mabel said slowly.
Y/n placed her head on her propped hand. "Well, at least it's over and you will never have to go out with him again."
But Mabel didn't say anything. She was anxiously tapping on the glass box with the idle lobster.
"Mabel?" Dipper asked after a brief moment. "It's over, right? ...Mabel?"
"BLARGH!" The twin sister flailed her arms around in a panic. "He asked me out again and I didn't know how to say no!"
Dipper furrowed his brows. "Like this: no!" he enunciated, pointing at his mouth.
"It's not that easy, Dipper!" Mabel reasoned, "And I do like Gideon... as a friend slash little sister! So I didn't want to hurt his feelings!" She smacked her fist onto the table between the two. "I just need to get things back the way they used to be, you know? Friends!"
Unfortunately, Mabel's plan did not go as planned. Her heart seemed to always win in every situation, which she disliked. She disliked Gideon's advances on her and her inability to say no. She liked Gideon, but not in the way he desired.
So, the moment she got home, she was pacing all over the living room, weighing her options. He's just too nice but she can't keep doing this! – but she can't break his heart! There's no way out of this!
Dipper's voice jolted her out of her reverie. She was terrified of her upcoming date with Gideon. Dipper reassured her that it wouldn't come to marriage, until Stan stormed in with a TEAM GIDEON sign on his shirt, declaring that Mabel must marry the twerp.
Y/n entered the room with her favorite Pitt cola in hand. She stared disapprovingly at Stan. "What?" he asked. "Bodies change."
The boy twin found his sister in a place she dubbed, 'Sweater Town'-- where she just pulls her knees to her chest and wraps her huge sweater around her until she is completely covered.
Dipper has had his fill. If Mabel does not want to end her relationship with Gideon, he will. Mabel, of course, was overjoyed at her brother's offer.
He entered the restaurant where Gideon was allegedly waiting for his sister. He couldn't believe this little charlatan would basically force Mabel to date him. He's been behaving strangely since he saw him on stage.
Gideon was initially polite to Dipper, though he was perplexed by his appearance. Gideon's eye twitched when Dipper told him Mabel didn't want to see him again, but he still wore a sickening grin.
"You're not gonna- like, freak out or whatever?"
Bygones be bygones, he said. Dipper took it in stride and walked out. He didn't look like he was angry, so he thought that he'd understood.
But Gideon's gaze remained fixed on Dipper as he walked out of the restaurant. He suddenly felt a surge of rage coursing through his veins. How dare he put himself between him and Mabel? He has no authority to intervene! Gideon and Mabel were supposed to rule the town together as king and queen!
Dipper just made the biggest mistake of his life.
The next day, everything seemed to be back to normal. The twins were having fun with Soos outside the Shack, doing random shenanigans until the phone rang from the gift shop.
"Your turn," Mabel said first, beating Dipper to it – which means, he has to go and deal with whoever was on the phone.
Dipper had no idea it would be Toby Determined, the lamest guy ever, who was suddenly interested in interviewing him about the 'unusual' things going on in town.
Dipper's excitement overtook his worry, and he quickly scribbled the address Toby provided on the notepad from his pocket. He was about to leave the gift shop and continue on his way when he noticed Y/n out of the corner of his eye.
"Y/n, hey!"
She turned around, trying to look casual after having heard of the telephone conversation. In her defense, it was a total coincidence that she walked into the gift shop from the living room and... stayed until the end of the call.
"Dipper," she answered. "What's up?"
Wendy and Soos gave her that greeting. What does she know about interacting when she's been cooped up in the basement for the past 30 years? Stan is mostly responsible for grocery shopping and going outside.
Dipper told her about Toby Determined and wanting to interview him with the address already etched in the paper.. "So, what I'm saying is," he began, "do you wanna come with me? We found this journal together, so I figured I shouldn't take the credit alone."
Her heart skipped a beat not only because of the thoughtful offer, but also because of the heavy anxiety. She took a look at the journal he had brought out. Knowing the journal was with Dipper - within her arms reach - calmed her a little, but she couldn't help but think about the risk of revealing the journal's secrets to anyone else, let alone someone like Toby Determined.
So she had to go with him. Just to make sure that he doesn't do anything stupid.
"Sure," she finally said, smiling. Dipper returned the smile, and the two proceeded to the cleared path in the forest to the address. Because the Shack is located at 618 Gopher Road, it took some time to locate 412. It appeared to be an abandoned warehouse on a cliff.
Y/n and Dipper exchanged uncertain glances before hiking up the hill to the main door. Dipper opened it to reveal a dark room full of shelves and unused cardboard boxes.
"Hello?" Dipper's voice echoed through the confines of the warehouse.
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows, confused with the silence. Someone was supposed to meet them there, but apparently no one came. "Let's just get out of here. Maybe it was a prank call."
"Yeah. Maybe you're right."
The two were about to leave when the door unexpectedly shut. Dipper jumped and tried unsuccessfully to open the door. He knocked, expecting someone to close the door on them as a joke, but no one answered. Panic gripped their chests.
A row of lights illuminated the warehouse until it reached the far end, revealing an office chair.
The seated turned around to see Gideon, who was petting his puppet version of himself like a supervillain. He had a menacing grin on his face. "Dipper Pines... oh, and you brought Y/n, too. Isn't that just swell?"
"Gideon?" The boy beside her rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"How long have you been living in this town, a week? Or two? You like it here?" Gideon inquired, innocently fidgeting with the stuffed toy.
Dipper crossed his arms. "What do you want from me, man?"
"Listen carefully, boy," he said slowly, "this town has secrets you couldn't even begin to comprehend."
"Is this about Mabel?" Dipper asked. "I told you she's not into you!"
"LIAR! You turned her against me!" Gideon stood from his chair and marched towards the two of them. "She was my pink dumplin'!" He grasped his bolo tie with a hard look on his face.
Dipper had the nerve to be concerned, "Are you okay, man?"
Gideon raised his hand, and the two of them were surrounded by a blue aura. They quickly realized that their feet were no longer touching the ground. Dipper panicked slightly, whereas Y/n felt dread mixed with familiarity.
When Gideon made a motion with his hand, the two were launched into the air. They landed in a heap of cardboard boxes containing his merchandise.
"Wha-what? But I- I thought he's a fake!" Dipper stuttered.
"Oh tell me, boy! Is this fake?" His hand on his bolo tie again, he lifted the other and the stuff around them were floating.
Y/n was staring at Gideon's closed fist. It can't be.
Gideon laughed maniacally as he directed the floating clocks towards Dipper. Dipper was the most targeted of the two, so he had to avoid the most hazards. Y/n stepped to the side, conjuring up some sort of plan. If only there was some kind of distraction so she could retrieve the mystical amulet.
So that's why his hair was unnaturally white.
Dipper jumped away from the tumbling shelf, rolling until his back hit the wall. He stroked his head, which he was certain was developing a lump. "Grunkle Stan was right about you, you are a monster!"
"Your sister will be mine!" Gideon's laughter was cut short when a pair of arms wrapped around his neck from behind. He screamed and flailed his arms around, attempting to punch Y/n but failing. "No! Let go of me!" He screeched, but she didn't falter, only squeezing tighter.
"Dipper, get the amulet!" She feared that once she let go of her other hand and reached for the necklace, Gideon would have the chance to unhand himself and use the magic against her.
Dipper stood up and ran towards the two of them. Gideon was still writhing under her grasp, sweating like a pig now. Dipper had a small triumphant smile on his face as his hand inched closer to the amulet, until-
"Guys?"
The three looked over to see Mabel by the opened door.
"What's happening?"
It was silent. No one really knew how to start at explaining the whole situation.
But Gideon quickly recovered, elbowing Y/n in the face—which didn't hurt, but caught her off guard—causing her to loosen her grip, and that's when Gideon took the chance, holding his bolo tie again and lifting his other hand, sending both Y/n and Dipper afloat. So much for a diversion, she reasoned.
"Gideon! What are you doing?!" Mabel exclaimed, panic settling in her features.
"Marshmella, I want to apologize for my behavior, but these two have come between our sweet relationship! Don't you want to get rid of them?"
"Heck no! I'm sorry, Gideon, but I can't be your marshmallow. I needed to be honest and finally tell you that myself," Mabel replied.
Gideon furrowed his brows. "I... I don't understand," he said, clutching the amulet tightly, with the gesture and his growing frustration, it made it so that he was choking both Dipper and Y/n while they were still afloat.
Dipper thrashed around in an attempt to relieve the pain in his throat. Y/n imitated the action, attempting to persuade herself that she, too, is in pain.
She yanked the glowing amulet from his suit as quickly as she could. "No!" Y/n and Dipper both fell to the ground, their magic practically unused. "You were like attacking my brother and my friend! What the heck?!"
"My tie! Give it back!"
He tried to reach it, but Mabel tossed it to Dipper.
"Ha!" Dipper caught it. "Not so powerful without this, are you?"
Gideon screamed and charged at Dipper, making him drop the amulet and breaking through the window.
"Dipper!" Mabel yelled. Y/n glanced at the amulet on the ground and wasted no time going for it. She picked it up, grabbing it tightly, and harnessed its powers. It was the same feeling when she held it the first time. With her mind, she thought about floating and instantly she was.
Mabel was astounded. She levitated as Y/n raised her hand with the amulet. She rushed the two of them outside the broken window and, with no time to waste, gestured her other hand up to stop Gideon and Dipper's horrific fall. The two stared up at them until Y/n and Mabel gracefully descended.
"Listen, Gideon," Mabel began once her feet landed, "It's over. I will never ever date you."
Y/n, too, put her feet on the ground, eventually letting go of the magic before it could affect her again. After all, the white streaks were still visible beneath her natural hair. She gave Mabel the amulet, knowing exactly what she wanted to do with it, and Mabel delivered, throwing it to the ground and breaking it.
"My powers!" Gideon exclaimed. "Oh this isn't over. This isn't the last you'll see of wittle... ol'... me," he said before walking back to the dark forest.
The twins looked at each other, both weirded out, before they turned around and made their way home. Meanwhile, Y/n stared at the broken pieces of the mystical amulet.
"'Buried deep underground where nobody can find it,'" she muttered under her breath. Ford was a terrible liar.

Eyes Don't Lie VIII
Eyes Don't Lie Masterlist
Severus Snape x OC x Lucius Malfoy
It was his second class after lunch and he was not excited, this class will probably be his least favorite class until they graduate. The class he had was his Gryffindor and Slytherin 6th year students. He always disliked this class due to the annoying red headed twins sitting across the room from each other. But now he really disliked this class.
This is because of the confusing feelings that came attached to one of his students. Charlotte one of the farthest sitting people. They had a two hour class, the first hour was for reading and writing and the second was for brewing the potion the reading was about. The brewing went by pretty nicely no messes but a few failed. Then the class just ended no big nuisances for Snape and when Charlotte passed him he called out. "I'll be expecting you here as soon as you finish dinner." Snape reminded the girl of the detention she never forgot.
"So what'd you do to get detention again?" Draco teases Charlotte sipping on  is pumpkin juice. "I just didn't finish last nights detention chore so he said I was to do it tonight." Charlotte chuckles lightly scratching the back of her head, finishing in an awkward smile. "Well I should be off I'm not gonna eat anything." Draco looked up worried. "You'll need to starting eating more or I'll shove the food down your throat." Draco warned with some tough love. "I'll keep that in mind your highness." Charlotte swung her bag over her shoulder and started towards the cold dungeons.
Charlotte really wished she had brought her robe or even a jacket, today was unregularly cold in the dungeons, don't be wrong it's always cold just not like this. Arriving at the familiar door she knocked. Hearing a quiet 'come in' she twisted the doorknob and pushed the door open. "Good evening Ms. Bren, your work in on the desk." He held his hand out in the direction of the desk in front of his. "Cool." She dropped her bag next to the desk and pulled out the chair with an annoying screech.
"Sorry." She apologized at the noise and sat on the chair. Looking down at the stack of papers in front of her she started wishing she didn't ask him for help, until she actually read the papers realizing they were already done. "So you do want help." Charlotte smirked looking up at the gothic man. "No, this detention was short notice so I didn't have time for preparation."
"You could've made me clean or write lines except you decided to give me what I asked for." The way her voice smoothed through the words she was speaking made Snape shiver. The way she worded it stuck in the man's brain too. 'She couldn't've had meant it the way I think, she's a student nothing more!' Silently they both went back to the papers in front of them.
About half an hour later Charlotte had finished the large stack of papers without using the answer sheet Snape had prepared for her. She stood up grateful the chair decided to be quiet, Charlotte noticed how the man was too focused on his stack of papers to notice the girl approaching.
She stood in front of the man's desk for a few minutes before she got bored tapping on the paper he was working he finally looked up. "What?" Snape's eyebrow lifted in his classic questioning expression. "I finished." She lifted the papers to switch his attention to them.
"You finished?" His other eyebrow lifted too changing his expression to one of shock. "Yeah it was pretty easy I didn't need the answer paper." She was biting her lip and peeling to skin off, it was the backup if her hands were occupied. "Oh. Well place them on that pile." He nodded to the pile on his right side. "Cool."
Charlotte walked over the the side of the desk and carefully place the stack she had in her hands down onto the stack on the table. "So what do you want me to do now?" She stood there awkwardly, rocking back and forth with her hands clasped in front of her body. "I don't have anything else for you to do."
Charlotte moved to the desk she was just sitting at and grabbed her bag, Snape was twinged with a feeling of sadness at seeing her leave so soon. Then Charlotte grabbed the chair she was also sitting at, she lifted it and brought it over to the desk setting it in front.
Sitting down she brought her knees up resting her bag in her lap. Looking through it she pulled out another smaller bag, then she set her school bag on the floor next to the chair. Charlotte pulled out a small journal and a pencil, flipping through about half the pages she found an empty one and started sketching.
She kept drawing lines hoping it would become what she envisioned, until it finally did an uncolored version of Snape. She shaded his hair and added a few finishing details. When she placed down her pencil and analyzed the drawing she notice how he looked kind of like a cat.
Testing out the theory she drew a cartoony version of a cat next to her drawing of Snape. She giggled at the drawings and continued to draw first she drew a full body standing cartoon cat then added Snape's clothes on top of the body the more versions of cat Snape.
She couldn't stop smiling and letting little snickers out at all the different ideas that popped into her head. "What's so funny?" Snape words shot through her train of thought like a bullet. "Oh uh nothing." She smiled awkwardly trying to play it off. "Show me." "What?" Charlotte let out in a whisper. "Show me what you're drawing there. "Oh." Her breath shallowed and sped up.
Slowly Charlotte turned the journal the other way, showing the contents of the page to the man in front of her. He examined the full page of him as a cat then on the other half way more doodles of the cat version of him than above those was a very detailed and beautiful drawing of him. "You're really good." Snape complimented.
"Huh? Oh, thank you." Charlotte felt blood rush to her cheeks as a blush brushed up her neck. "What else do you have in that book?" Snape leaned against his palm, placing his quill down.  "Not much." Charlotte pulled the book back placing it down in her lap. "Can I see?" Snape lifted his brow up. Charlotte couldn't trust her mouth so she just nodded.
She stood and brought the chair over to the other side. Setting in down next to Snape's chair she sat down. She handed the journal over to the man beside her. She watched him go through the book most were just meaningless sketched and a few were anatomy practice. A drawing of her mother showed up in the pages and a pang of sadness flowed through Charlottes veins.
"Who's she?" Snape spoke, his voice like and anchor in the storm of thought she was stuck in. "My mother." Charlotte answered and small crack in her voice escaped. "I'm sorry, I should be over this." Tears welled up from the actually happy memories she used to have.
"It's more than ok, everybody's different and it takes more time for some people." Snape held the girls cheek in his hand, a tear fell down her cheek then another and soon rivers were flowing down her face. He pulled her into a hug as her tears soaked his robe.
It had been a few minutes and the Charlotte ran out of tears, she was left dryly sobbing. After a few more minutes her breathing returned to normal and she lifted her head wiping what was still wet with her sleeve. She then looked up at Snape. "Thank you." Her lips set in a gorgeous smile. Her eyes flicked to his lips and his did the the same then they slowly leaned in. Then a knock at the door came, they both jumped away and Charlotte grabbed her journal and pencil them put them both in her small bag the that in her school bag. Grabbing the chair she brought it back to the desk she took it from.
"Come in." Snape drawled returning back to the work he was doing before. "Good night professor." Charlotte said softly, and she cursed herself thinking he didn't hear it. "Good night." McGonagall stepped through the doorway passing the girl with a nod. Charlotte returned it and walked out closing the door behind her.

Tumblr media
『I knew that,
Not all people are born with quirks
Even at a young age, I've seen countless quirkless beings being discriminated against for that very reason, and vice versa for us quirk beings.』
"She has a villain quirk!"
"What a shame, to think I was friends with them."
"Stay away from them or something might bad happen to ya'. "
"I hear their parents don't even like them."
I just huffed at their comments, it was like any other day in kindergarten. 'All of them are just of meanies!' I sighed, playing with the building blocks in the corner with my brother. "N-Nee-san..." I looked up to see my twin sobbing, I felt really pity us. Just because my quirk look villainous doesn't mean that they needed to be mean to my twin. "It's alright, don't cry, Yōsuke. I'm always here for ya' okay." I said with forced smile trying to be brave for us. After all that's how the oldest should act, to protect their family and their siblings.
──────────────────☆
"Which one are we going to, Yōsuke?"
"Yuuei High school!"
"—And which course are we taking?"
"The hero course!"
I could only sigh and deadpanned to the side. "Yes...... of course. We are both going into the hero course...", I let out another sigh before fixing my slumped pose.
"Man, I really wished I didn't have to do it. I really wanted to go to the Department of Support."
"But our parents didn't force you, they wanted you to choose. Even though they both really wanted us to go into the Hero Department they wanted us to follow our dreams." Chimed Yōsuke getting up from the floor to calm me down. "I know that! But I feel bad not going there for them, even though I despise Mother. I know they just want the best for us.. But it's hard to decide."
"Nee-san, your being indecisive again, like always, you can't make up your mind and ask people for their recommendation and hold them above your own dreams." I scoffed at my twin, who was now helping sewing back and eye to Lana's plush. "Just tell them how you feel, maybe that can help you decide."
"No I can't, I just have to uphold their decision they indirectly made for me. It probably won't be so bad... Hopefully." I said with a semi-gloom aura on me. "Oh right, it's almost time for the trials to start, wanna head out now to see Uncle Hizashi."
"Uncle Hizashi!?" Shouted the little twins, bouncing around and wanting to go with us. "Sorry Lana, Harper. This isn't for kids, you have to wait okay. I know Uncle Hizashi would be happy to see you both later someday, okay?" And a sad pout on their faces, they nodded. "Good, now stay here and protect the house from bad guys with Mother, okay?!" Closing the door swiftly before making our escape to UA to take the Hero Department exams.
Walking to our destination was short being that our home was relatively close to the school being that our papa wanting us to have a close walk to the school. "Man, I wish we could've stop by the 7-11 store before this. I forgot that we haven't had breakfast yet. Oh well as long as we have some sugar into us. I don't think we'll collapse from overus-AGe!"
My voiced cracked as I collided with something behind, wobble a bit to regain my balance. "Ah shit, what was - Denki?!". The boy perked up from hearing his first name being called. "[Name]?, Oh shit Yōsuke, [Name]! Wassup I haven't seen ya since a few years back." The unexpected reunion with an old childhood friend not something on our bingo card. We were surprised see him once more, that we instantly went chatting with him on our way to the entrance exam of Yuuei. "Man it really has been long, I see that you finally got a new haircut. I never liked that old haircut of yours, it plain even for you Mr."
"Hey cut me some slack okay. It wasn't my best choice okay. But you two are here for the hero entrance exam too?" We both nodded at him, "Yup not my first choice, but you know how useless I am making choices."
"As always, you never like being in the spotlight and liked to tinker away in your old bedroom, wanting to support heroes behind the curtain call."
"Haha, Asshole. Fair and true. But I never expected you trying to get into the Hero Dept. You know how fried your brain would be, I still can't get over the dumpy face of yours." I snickered aloud.
"Hey stop bullying me."
"It not though!"
"It totally is Nee-san/ [Name]."
"Argh, you guys are no fun..!"
The chat was shorten since we arrived to the gates of Yuuei. Looking around the place was many students hoping to get into the most prestigious school that Japan had to offer. "We should go in now. I'll meet you guys in the auditorium, I just need to do something okay."
Waving bye to them, I sprinted off into the school. "Let go inside and wait for Present Mic to show up." Suggested Yōsuke which Denki nodded, heading into the building as well. "Talk about prestigious, man this school is amazing." Praised Denki see the building for the first time both inside and out.
"Yup its pretty impressive, yet it can also be dangerous at time." Hinted Yōsuke pointing a the attending students who was wondering around the halls during entrance exam day. " We might have to face them one day later during the school year."
Which made Denki shiver in fear, "Com' on stop scarring me. Not cool dude."
"Hehe~"
"Oh hey guys, I thought you'd be at the auditorium already. I already finished up everything I needed to do. So let's go!" I said gesturing to come along and hurry. See me run towards the auditorium, they sprinted to catch up to me.
The auditorium wasn't full yet so we took seats next to each other to continue chatting a bit more. "Okay let me guess.... your think.... about food."
"Augh! How did you know!"
"Dude I've known you two for a long time. So, I brought this with me just incase." Said Denki before pulling out a box filled with some sweet. "Aw Denk! You do care for us."
"Of course I do! Hell, I remember that time when you two passed out on the field that day! Do you know scary it was seeing you two getting take to the hospital and not see you for a week."
"Hehe sorry about that.."
"Sorry my ass..! Well you guys better eat because I don't want to worry about you two later. I want to hang out with guys and catch up, okay."
Munching on the sweets he brought for us, the auditorium slowly filled up with more and more participants. "Ah it's about to start." Said Yōsuke as he vaporized the trash we had from the sweets. I started to doze off immediately before snapping out of it hearing a a familiar and booming voice.
"Hey one and all to my live show! Everybody say 'HEEEEEY!' " The crowd stood silent but us two "HEEEEY!" Both me and twin greeted him with his request. "I see I have some enthusiasts here! Thank you!"
"Now pay close attention, listeners! We'll be testing your Mettle by running a ten minutes practice run at our replica City-district! You can take whatever you like. Everyone gather at the designated meeting area after the presentation, ya dig?" Both of us chuckled at our Uncle's spontaneous vibe today. Filtering a bit in and out of the lecture it was finally time to head to designated locations.
"Looks like I'm C"
"F for me"
"G is it."
"Let's meet up at the front gates after this. Good luck you two and don't faint on me."
"Hey, same to you durp face, hehe!" We wave goodbye for now and heading to our spots. I sighed to myself just spotted the damn letter on the door right in front of me. "Well that's good at least I'm not lost. There so may people here huh? Impressive." I walked around a bit see all the participants gather around small little groups. "I should go up ahead and leave them in their world."
"Go Plus Ultra they say, and here I am.. great..." I sighed once more before hearing the doors open. I immediately sprinted into the doors cracks as they slowly opened it. Bots were everywhere, I sped up to one of my victims. Black and red tentacles appeared on my back and pierced the robot, "Good, three points. I should hurry up now before I fail." I lifted myself up and started to attack the robots that were in front of me.
Everyone already noticed that I was ahead and run straight into the battle field. "They already wasted a bit of time. I should hurry. " I said grabbing ahold of two, 2-point robots and smashing them in together. "A hoard of robots here!" I ran towards them and slammed my tentacles on the ground making the ground crack underneath them. "Time for murder!" I cheerfully said with a smile and before taking them all.
I could hear protest behind me, "Hey leave some for us!" "Yeah!" "We want to get in." I gave them a raspberry before propelling my self off the ground and sent another shock wave to notify other robots in the vicinity.
Dust cleared from my vision to see another hoard of Robots coming to us participants. "Just like meat to a pack of hungry hyenas. " I compared it too see them all bashing and destroying. It was apparently obvious that taking points weren't off the table as well. Piercing another 3 point robots. It was sometime before I felt vibrating underneath my heels.
The ground began to crack before opening underneath us. My body was shaking from the earthquake underneath us. I could only assume that the last remaining minute we would have to survive the giant robot.
"The big robot is here!"
The screams and shouts of children as they fled the scene to avoid the 0-point robot. "Actually this could be good practice for me. " I stretch myself before attaching myself to the robots. I started to climb it up rapidly, dodge it slow attack and hook up myself up to it's hands. "Regardless of worth, it can be a great toy to break." I huffed breaking a small piece of it's fingers and swiftly advancing to it head. It wasn't long before I pushed myself into the air high enough to be somewhat eye-level to the robot.
"Time to rest now!" I said throwing the giant yet small chunk of its finger to its head. The robot start to malfunction and it was now inactive.
I, on the other hand, was now falling from a great height. I felt the wind behind me, soothing my soul before curling up and enveloped myself in my tentacles making a ball that cushion my fall. But the worse part about it, is that it made me roll and bit before I undoing the ball. "Ahh, shit I feel dizzy"
My eyes turned into swirls before hearing tapping sounds. "Is everyone alright."
"Here have some candy. " "ah... thank you?"
"Oh its Recovery girl!"
"Oh, they even have a pro healer in staff, UA is exceeding my expectations even more. "
I felt a cool bag against my face. "Hey Ms. Recovery girl." I said with a weak smile on my face. "Goodness, here, have bag, you most definitely need it, youngster" I slowly got up and I was handed a bag of gummy bears. "Thanks a lot for this Recovery girl."
"Yes yes, now if there any injuries here, please go the infirmary, so I can treat you there."
Sighing for the the 5th time this day I went ahead and waited at the gates for them. It was already afternoon and I saw them. "Hey yo- BAHAHAHAH! Denki are you okay?!" I laughed a him see his durpy face and act. "Yeah his fine, just let me charge him up" Yōsuke grabbing the charger in Denki's bag and summon Fufu, a electric bunny creature that entirely made up by lightning, he gave the end to Fufu and plugs the other end into Denki's mouth.
We waited for a few minutes before Denki was back to normal. "Ah, thanks Fufu for the recharge!" Thanked Denki as Fufu disappeared from our view. We went ahead and went to the Cafe that Denki wanted to try out. It was a solid 5/10 wasn't bad but it wasn't good either for us twins, but Denki said that it was delicious. In which we reply with " It wasn't that great, Denki or many it's because our Hispanic side to use to more seasoned foods then here..."
We exchanged contact information before waving goodbye to him to head home for the evening. We climb and hopped over the fence of our home and continued to walk the long driveway to our house.
We greeted by our mother and the twins. "Hello, children, how was the exams for Yuuei? Hopefully not to tough." She said trying to hug us, Yōsuke lets her, but I stepped back from her hug. "It went fine as usual, now I'm gonna cook dinner for us six now. Hopefully Papa will be here before the sunsets. "
Peering out through the tall glass windows, the colors started to mix with each other before see some dark blue in the sky. "Yup I should start now."
We waited someday now, but our Papa told us that it will be soon. On the second day after exams, a packed envelopes came in with our names on it. "Nee-San Nii-Chan, the envelope arrived!" Scream the twins carry a bulky envelope to us. They sat in our laps to see our results. "Ah is thing on? Hopefully so!"
It was Papa on the hologram. "Hello my beloved children! Please excuse the laten-!"
"Just get on with papa.." we all deadpanned at hologram, seeing him ramble on a bit. "Right! I guess we'll be seeing each other more often, since it's been decided that I'll be work at Yuuei now!"
Our eyes widen in surprise here Papa will be working at the school we'll be attending in a few months. "Can you fix Camera 2, it a bit wanky... I'm in the middle of tell my children something important... We'll fix it the post? Ah, all right, that works."
"Now on for the results.... BOTH OF YOU PASS! Being that as a Father to both of you, I feel extremely proud of you both! Not only you two man-! Ah, what I have to make this quick? Ah, alright. In short [Name] you placed 1st while Yōsuke has been placed at 3rd. Congratulations, both of you. You two are now Yuuei Students!"
"Welcome to Yuuei, [Name] and Yōsuke!"
The hologram ended with a dry climax, but we were both happy for each other. Lana and Harper were bouncing around and celebrating our acceptance letters. Telling Mother the news, with our Papa doing his flashy entrance. We held a small yet meaningful celebration for the both of us for being accepted in Yuuei.

No. Edit- This is my first post on here on Tumblr. Still getting used to the format of writing a story here. Also, I'm rewriting my first-ever fanfic from 2016-ish. I used to write it on Quotev, I trashed the account and moved to Wattpad and now Tumblr since wattpad is dry as hell. Also just letting you that this is just a pilot. I'm still trying to fix and remake it. This isn't the official thing yet so... yeah....

Even After all Those Years. [G.W. x Reader]
Tumblr media
Part 2 of “That Cold, Wintry Night.”
Summary: You and George reconcile after the war after having a disturbing nightmare about Fred’s death.
Warnings: avada kedavraw
Word count: 1.3k
a/n: i’m so sorry the ending seems rushed and the lack of length oh my god
--
Green and red. Crucios and the dreaded Avadas. Your dreams had been plagued by the events of the battle. Sometimes you'd even dream of the tragic Yule Ball. Night after night, you woke up in a cold sweat clutching your sheets as though something was going to sweep you away.
'I'm sorry, Y/N,' the voice echoed, with baleful undertones.
You were caught in the middle of a blizzard, keeled over in front of George, crying desperately as flakes of snow piled on top of you. You were like a snow-capped mountain that moaned with grief as you begged for him to look at you just once.
'Why?' you cried out, voice hoarse from grief. Your sobs reduced to snivels, 'Why didn't you tell me?'
Suddenly, an emerald green light flashed in front of you, then a wall exploded far off in the distance. Voices, familiar voices, wailed in grief.
'Fred...!' the voices howled, disembodied. Fred had died in the explosion, but how? Wasn't he running the joke shop in Diagon Alley with George?
'Avada...!'
You shot up from your bed, covered in sweat, once again, and panting. Only this time— you worried about Fred. You knew he was alive, you'd see him and George every day through the window of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, but the dream seemed too real to ignore.
You slipped a coat on, not bothering to change out of your nightgown. Slipping your feet into your boots, you tapped them on the wooden flooring to ensure they were snug before you headed to your fireplace to help yourself to a handful of Floo powder. You were fighting with time.
"Diagon Alley!" You shouted with purpose, though you breathed in a bit of the ashes. Your body was engulfed in emerald green flames as the world around reduced to twisted disfigured streets. Then, you were met with a dimly-lit street that led up to the shop. You coughed and wheezed as you tried to expel the ash that entered your system whilst travelling by Floo.
--
You hastily made your way up the cobbled winding street. The shop had just closed for the night, and you banged desperately on the door. With each thrust your hand made, you could've sworn that the door was on the verge of collapsing.
'George?! Fred?! Anybody—?' You called out, but was immediately silenced by the rustling of feet. The door swung open, greeting you with the sight of the twins who looked just as disheveled and perplexed as you.
'Y/N?!' said George incredulously, 'What are you doing out here a quarter to midnight?!'
‘I saw,’ you paused to look at Fred, who looked back at you, seemingly unscathed, ‘ I saw visions,’ you shuffled in your spot uncomfortably as George’s gaze bore deeply into you, ‘Horrible, horrible visions.’
--
The twins beckoned you inside as the night grew colder by the second. They ushered you upstairs into their apartment, where lie prototypes of their newest products. The wall was tattered from small explosions. Tiny vials of unfamiliar substances were scattered across the shelves. You looked out the window to see the night sky blossoming with stars.
‘It’s a beautiful night, isn’t it?’ George called out from behind you, ‘I believe it’s about to start snowing soon.’ You kept quiet and only hummed in agreement, remembering the unfortunate circumstances between you and George.
Ah. Snow. You forgot about the advances of winter. You ran your finger across the windowsill, seemingly deep in thought. Your mind raced. That day was the day the Yule Ball was held. Then, in the corner of your eye, a flake of snow fell. Then two, then three, then the world started to glimmer with white.
‘Y/N,’ George started towards you, ‘I didn’t mean to leave you that night,’
Your stomach lurched. Then, you turned to him. Fred had retired to his room, leaving the two of you alone in the living room. It was dimly lit, the only source of light being the candelabrum that stood in the corner of the room. The howling of the wind signaled that a blizzard had formed outside.  Your eyes danced around, refusing to make contact with his as he advanced closer to you.
‘Y/N, please,’ he grasped your shoulder. Your eyes finally locked with his. Suddenly, the whole world was at peace. Death Eaters were a thing of the past, now that his presence graced you.
‘Then why did you leave?’ you asked, rather weakly as your voice wavered; as if you were holding back the same tears you spilled that night, years ago. It was years ago, but the scar forever remained.
‘I just-’ George paused to wet his lips and search for words, but nothing came out. He ran his hand through his hair. The locks that raked through his slender fingers fluttered messily back into place.
‘George Fabian Weasley,’ You beckoned, now grabbing his full attention. Everything seemed to fall in place, just like that night, ‘You knew. Everyone knew.’ Your voice began to break. All those years ago, but your feelings never once wavered like how your voice did in that moment.
‘And even after all those years,’ Your breath then hitched, ‘I still loved you so,’
Just like a rubber band stretched to its limits, you snapped. Everything came gushing out. All those years of pent up longing and desire, wishing you were in the warmth of his arms. You were vulnerable. Your glistening, red eyes broke contact with George’s deep eyes as you crashed into his arms. He welcomed you into his embrace, snaking his arms around your waist. He rested his chin on the top of your head, as his hooded eyes seemed to glitter with slight relief; the relief knowing you still chose to seek refuge in his arms despite everything.
‘Even after you confirmed your feelings for Angelina, the flame in me never fanned out.’ You breathed out in between your sobs. George felt the strings of his heart pull. George rubbed your back gingerly as he led the two of you to the moth-eaten couch, propping you down gently with a small huff.
‘I’m sorry, Y/N,’ George whispered into your ear. His voice was soft yet raspy, it almost cracked, like a small firework. The guilt ate away at him, ‘I knew everything, you were right,’ Your sniffles died down.
‘Night after night, all I dreamt of was the war. I dreamt of the Yule Ball, how I knelt in front of you. It was pathetic,’ You chuckled at your confession that seemed to slip out on its own. You smiled up at him weakly, your puffy eyes formed crescents as your plump lips quivered, ‘Then, I dreamt Fred died. It was a dream, but it was too real to ignore. I heard your family’s cries,’
George’s eyes were wide in shock. For how long had you been plagued by nightmares? Nightmares of him? He pulled you closer, as if you would be blown away if his grip on you were to loosen even in the slightest bit.
‘It’s okay,’ He soothed you as he brushed the hair out of your face, ‘It’s okay- Fred’s here. I’m here.’ Then, he placed a kiss on your forehead. It was gentle, like a warm feather tickling you. For a brief moment, sparks shone.
You looked up at him in disbelief. Your tears stopped, as if his kiss magically stopped you from crying. Your lips curled up into a weak smile. Your face was flushed from all the release of your pent-up feelings.
You stared at him, dumbfounded, ‘Is this a dream?’ You murmured.
‘No it isn’t, love,’ George tittered at your shock.
 ‘Pinch me-- OUCH! Not literally!’
Then, the two of you broke out into loud, melodious laughter. The world didn’t matter anymore; for it was both of yours now. The rest of the night was spent catching up, talking about the battle, reminiscing about your Hogwarts days, and reconciling.
--
‘I hope this means we can turn over a new leaf?’ George looked down at you. His eyes glittered with hope. You felt your heart stop at the way he grinned at you. You stopped to bask in him. This was the boy you had loved since the moment you laid your eyes on him.
 ‘Definitely.’

How about a Azul x gn reader? The reader is a major Simp for him and loves to give him lots of gifts and affection. Established relationship
azul ashengrotto x s/o who is a simp for him headcanons (gn! reader)
Tumblr media
.・゜-: ✧ :- -: ✧ :-゜・.
okay, i never wrote anything about azul before so i'm anxious but i hope i did him justice!! thank you for your request, i have to get out of my comfort zone more often! (also i'm sorry this got kinda dramatic)
♡ azul has mixed feelings about this. he enjoys attention from you a lot but at the same time he's kind of overwhelmed. receiving so much affection was new to him so he didn't really know how to react. but he tried not to show that he's embarrassed so you'd have to try harder if you wanted to see your boyfriend go (o///o) oh well, you were always up for a challenge!
♡ pretty much the whole school knows about you and azul dating and you loving him a lot by now. and of course, that's thanks to you. you never miss a chance to remind everyone (including azul himself) about your feelings for him and people would be like "we know, y/n. we know" showing your love for azul in public flusters him more but he's still trying not to show it. "ahaha, i love you too, y/n ^^ and i am sure everyone here knows it as well" honestly, some students can't take it anymore, you two are being too lovey-dovey. like, have some respect for single ones out here!
♡ leech twins are also probably teasing azul about it. (floyd: "(nickname that he gave you) is totally in love with you~") they'd mention how you never stop talking about him and joke that you're obsessed with him. azul would just be like "oh it's not that bad, they just really love me" and then you run to him, kiss his cheek and ask "were you talking about me? :D" .. yeah, maybe you're a little obsessed with him.
♡ of course, azul shows you his affection too, just not in an overwhelming way. and you LOVE when it happens. he could simply hold your hand and you'd already be like "!! we're holding hands now omg omg this is happening I FORGOT HOW TO BREATHE-" and azul is just standing there. don't worry tho he's very patient. you two might even have an "affection competition" when you two try to show your love to each other as often as you can. the one who starts blushing or showing any other signs of embarassment loses! and you are determined to win.
♡ but azul might suspect that something is wrong here. he'd like to believe that you just love him that much and that's why you never stop talking about your feelings.. but what if it's not true? what if you have some kind of ulterior motive? what if you actually never even loved him and you were lying to him this whole time? yeah, that's probably it. it was stupid of him to think that such a kind person like you could've fallen in love with him.
♡ you notice when azul starts to treat you colder than before. you wonder what happened and think about what could've made azul feel this way. you try to show your love even more often, hoping that it will make azul feel better but it only makes everything worse. and you start to think that maybe you were the one who did something wrong. but you were kind and loving to him this whole time! what could you.. oh. actually, maybe that's why azul is treating you like this now.
♡ you realize that azul was not used to getting so much love and attention and he's probably thinking that you wanted something from him and didn't truly love him. but he's wrong, you DO love him and you don't need anything from him, you just love azul for who he is!! when you see him again, you make sure to tell him that. you apologize for acting like that and say that if he's not comfortable with it, you will change the way you show your affection.
♡ eventually azul starts fully trusting you and he gets used to your compliments, gifts and other ways of showing love. now he knows that you do it because you actually like him and that's just how you are, when you love someone so much you want them to never forget about it! and azul sure will not when he has you by his side.

Love your paralyzed ford au, It really puts into perspective of what could of happened had the fight even worse. I wanted to ask how did Ford cope with being in a wheelchair and being unable to talk, both at first and near the end. Did he struggle with routine and being dependent on Stan?
Yeah, it really does put that into perspective. They really could've seriously injured each other even worse than Stan getting branded. Or even straight up killed the other on accident.
As for your question, oh boy did he struggle at first. Sometimes in the early days of his paralysis, an exhausted Ford forgot his legs just didn't work and fell off the bed trying to stand up. Things that had been a normal height for him before were now impossible to reach without help. Not to mention the house was an absolute nightmare to navigate before Fiddleford made it more accessible, often requiring the help of Stan when he wanted to go upstairs for various reasons. And of course, the nothingness he felt below the waist was something he didn't feel he'd ever get used to.
As for losing his voice, Ford hated it without a doubt. He often caught himself trying to yell to Stan when he needed something, then just balled his fists when no sound came out of his mouth. It didn't help that his hands were now much too trembly to write legibly. Ford often resorted to knocking on loud things to grab Stan's attention until Fiddleford added a buzzer to his wheelchair (I thank @eeveelotions for that idea, I hadn't thought of it before). It was a mercy that Ford was able to pick up ASL with little issue. Otherwise he'd go insane trying to mime what he wants to say.
He didn't like being so dependent on someone else in the first months of being disabled, often going and doing things on his own that he should've asked for help with. Like getting that bowl in the fic (I debated whether or not to add this to the fic and ultimately decided not to, but Ford tried to take a bath on his own and freaked Stan out) Losing much of his independence was a big blow to his pride, feeling utterly ashamed when any simple task he'd done a million times before became incredibly difficult without the help of his brother. Thankfully he earned some of it back when Fiddleford made their house more accessible to him and made him a wheelchair that could handle rough terrain to a point.
Coping with all that was very hard. He often tried to remind himself that at least he had survived the injury and had a brother that cared enough to stay around to help after the accident. In the early days when they were still figuring out the portal junk, Ford absorbed himself in directing the destruction to distract himself from thinking too much on his condition. He also found a surprising amount of interest in Stan's little tourist trap and helped where he could. He also took up hobbies like birdwatching that ended up weirdlife watching more often than not from their porch or, when Mabel came around that summer, knitting. Basically he tried to keep himself busy in an attempt to forget how much he missed being able bodied. It took some time and a self reflection or two, but eventually Ford found peace with his disabled body. He realized he couldn't mope about it any more than he could walk and talk or he'd always be miserable. That realization reached its peak when he and Stan reconciled on the mountain. He kept his newfound love of his hobbies throughout the years though, picking up several at a time, because he actually liked them and not because of a want for distraction. He even learned to love himself after not feeling it for months.
By the time the summer with Dipper and Mabel came around, Ford had been disabled for many, many years. That's not to say he didn't have his struggles, but they were struggles he was certainly used to by then. Like days where he was in too much pain to get out of bed. It made his whole summer when he learned that the twins had taught themselves some sign language so they could understand him. The only thing holding him back was his own declining health. But he didn't let that stop him, often getting in on Dipper and Mabel's adventures when he was feeling up to it. He loved them so much. They gave him a reason to hold on just a little longer.
Anyway, I hope that was a sufficient answer to your question. Thanks for giving me this opportunity to talk about him!!

OOOOOOOOOO I FORGOT THAT'S WHY THE MOM WENT TO THE CONFESSIONAL, THAT'S ACTUALLY GONNA BE SUPER USEFUL
Oh I can absolutely see that happening. They'd been mailed the testing results and it was pure chance that led to Pucci reading it first, and it shakes him to his very core
however, I don't think who Pucci was actually related to would be in the initial results. The result? Pucci stewing in this and trying to figure out what the hell this could mean for possible weeks since..... well, we saw from canon, Pucci tends to try and handle things himself from behind the scenes to avoid hurting others
and just...... Pucci slowly investigating and putting together the pieces. His knee jerk reaction was to just waving it off as adoption. It couldn't be that his mom cheated because the results said there was zero biological relation, so maybe she just hid the fact he was adopted? But no matter how much he turns the house upside down, even using Whitesnake to get into the walls and under the floor, he couldn't find any adoption certificates
so he expands his search. Starts considering..... other possibilities. Less documented, less legal possibilities
it was a complete accident he began connecting things to Domenico. Nothing more than a joke between the two because of their shared birthday and hospital, a "oh haha, imagine if I was his supposedly dead twin, how soap opera would that be" comment they'd laugh about
but then Pucci thinks about it for a bit too long. They were born barely a few minutes apart in the same hospital only a few rooms down from each other. Dom had made a few comments about how similar Pucci looked to his own father. How the two of them got their Stands at the exact same time. Pucci's mother's strange discomfort around the Pucci Family
it felt circumstancial. Like the only reason the pieces were fitting together was because that's how he was looking at it
he doesn't believe it, doesn't want to believe it, doesn't want to think his mother would do something so cruel like stealing a baby and replacing it with a dead one
so he asked her on a whim one night, justifying it to himself as confirming this theory is nothing more than stretching the facts to fit and paranoid delusion so he can go back to the drawing board with a fresh start
but that doesn't happen. His mom doesn't laugh it off. Doesn't look at him like he's crazy
Instead she freezes and looks at him with fear in her eyes and that was more than enough confirmation
they fight. It's loud and emotionally charged and above all things desperate as both sides realize the other is slippng through their grasp. But the both of them are stubborn and don't back down and ultimatley becomes their undoing. Pucci refuses to let this be swept under the rug while his mother desperately tries to keep an exposed secret hidden
eventually Pucci leaves. He bolts from the house like a bat out of hell and for a moment ponders going to Domenico, before deciding against it
then he remembers the strange blonde man who first gave him the arrow
also in regards to Perla and Dom, I had a Thought, specificially tying into Pucci's mom's illness. What if sometime after he disappears, she ends up passing but in her will is the secret she's been shouldering for so long, and naturally the Pucci's are told about it. Dom connects the dots and figures that since it's been confirmed Pucci left by his own violition (you never knew with Stands after all) the only place he could've gone was to the weird blone guy who gave him arrow in the first place
Hey would you be interested in the idea of Pucci and Weather being swapped? As in the mother took Enrico instead of Domenico.
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
that's honestly a really interesting idea because of how much and how little it might change things because like. This does bring into question how their interests and desires would change what they do and want, not to mention how there were some aspects of the situation that were specific to them
For example, would Pucci still want be a priest? And if he did, would he still end up hearing his "mother" confess her sins in the confessional booth? Would he even take interest in Perla???
And Domenico? What about him? Off the top of my head I can't think of any way to learn the truth of Pucci's relationship, so would he even learn at all? Not to mention, Domenico's style is more to confront things outright, so the racist detective agency likely wouldn't even get involved
Honestly, the only thing that stays somewhat intact is Pucci meeting with Dio and obtaining the Arrow, which leads me to how I think the AU will go
simply put, there is no tragedy. Pucci never crosses paths with Perla and Domenico never learns of Pucci's relation to him.......
or at least at first
let's say Pucci ends up accidentally cuts himself on the arrow one day. After all, he did keep it in his pocket unwrapped, it was only a matter of time for him to accidentally cut himself. He falls ill temporaily, but after a few hours ends up bouncing back and now with the addition of a weird spirit buddy who only he can see
however, unbeknownst to him across town Domenico collapsed at the exact same time, burning up from a fever, and was seemingly miraculously healed hours later also with a weird spirit buddy
and well....... Stand Users are attracted to each other after all
it starts as little things. Passing eachother in the street, going to the same diners at the same times, so on so forth, and it was honestly only a matter of time before it was revealed they both had Stands. Their "friendship" was definitly one that sparked out of nessecity rather then actually having anything in common, but with the both of them desperate for anyone who could prove they weren't crazy, they took it
and honestly, I can see their friendship being more "frenemies" in the begining. They don't hate eachother, but they didn't quite get along. Maybe for some fun :) something that really starts to bring them together is meeting another Stand User who has...... less that pure intentions and almost killed them, and they had to work together to fight them off? But yeah after that, their friendship becomes more..... solid, so to speak
the truth of their relationship is going to be a fun reveal, especially since I doubt Pucci's mother would forget the name of the family whom she stole a whole ass child from, so learning Pucci and the family's remaining son had become close friends? That's going to stress her out immensely, and it does raise the question of whether she tells Pucci vs Pucci finding out
I'll admit, I'm not fully sure how Dio falls into things here. Maybe if things go the route of Pucci Finding Out, it could lead to him running away from home and seeking out Dio? But that might be a bit too much of a reaction, so maybe some added layer of tragedy happens ontop of the reveal too
however, the why and how aside, Domenico is 100% chasing after him, he's not going to let his Bestie go off all by himself

Chapter 1: The First Time

▪︎ __________ 🌷 __________ ▪︎
The Daltons seem like your typical, upper middle class blended family: A husband who works for his family's company, a wife and stepmother who is powerful figure in the city, two high school sophomores in various clubs, and a tot who just learned how to walk. With a new, young nanny joining the fold, it seems like things are going well. Hannah Brooks, a promising young nanny, has recently been hired for the job and her first day has already begun as the Dalton brood (minus Ainsley) is out and about. At least, that's what Hannah thought, as she tried to get Ainsley to eat lunch and they heard the door unlock.
"Is that your mommy coming home to check on us?" Hannah asked Ainsley, trying to engage her.
"Close, I forgot my flash drive in my home office, but I did kind of want to see how you two are doing." Sam popped his head into the kitchen.
"Oh. You know I could've brought it to you at work, sir. I've been meaning to take Ainsley to the park anyways so we can get some fresh air, but only if she'll eat at least three banana slices." Hannah turned for a second, before trying to get Ainsley to eat again.
"That's fine. Also, she takes a while to warm up to new people, just give it some time. It helps if you hum a little Baby Shark." Sam advised, before he headed to his home office.
"Uh, thank you, sir." Hannah tried to make sure Sam heard it, but then hesitantly began following his advice, which worked.
"We need to get you into some new music girly, because that's gonna get old very fast. Are you a fan of Taylor Swift? By the time you get a phone, all of the re-recordings will be out and your big sister can play them for you." Hannah helped Ainsley with the banana slices, while continuing her humming to fill the silence.
After Sam left, and later came back, the day continued with a nice family dinner, where Marianne invited Hannah to join them so she could bond with the whole family. The twins Mason and Mickey chatted about their day, while Marianne and Hannah bonded, and Sam helped out as much as he could with Ainsley. After Hannah helped get the kids ready for bed, it was time to leave.
"I hope today went alright for you, we probably should've let you have a practice day before you officially started but we had a family thing to take care of." Marianne brought Hannah a glass of water in the living room.
"No worries, Mrs. Dalton, the kids were good. Ainsley did have a little trouble with her lunch, but Mr. Dalton gave me some advice when he came home to get something from his office and it worked like a charm." Hannah told her, sipping from the glass.
"Sam does know best when it comes to the kids. And please, we're gonna be like family, you can call us Sam and Marianne." Marianne reassured the young nanny, and tried to make her feel more welcome. As they chatted, Hannah's phone went off with a call from her roommate.
"Oh sorry, I gotta go. My roommate has decided she wants to get her nursing license and she needs someone to quiz her on proper bedside manner and how to treat unruly patients." Hannah stood up, and Marianne took the empty glass from her.
Hannah said her goodbyes to the family and began heading out when Sam volunteered to walk her to her car, as the parking garage could be a maze at night and neither one wanted to get lost.
"Thank you for that advice earlier, in my years of babysitting and being a nanny Ainsley was giving me a run for my money there." Hannah laughed.
"Well it sounded like you two were having trouble, I just wanted to help. Besides, you're a natural with her and the twins so it's gonna be a good fit." Sam replied.
"Thanks, Sam." Hannah smiled.
They made it to Hannah's car after a little while, but Sam stopped her before she got in.
"Look, I know that things seem alright in there, but that only happened after you got here. You make things easier on everyone." Sam admitted to Hannah.
"Really? Things seemed pretty good when I went in for my interview, unless you two are really great liars." Hannah was puzzled at what Sam said.
"That's it, we're good at burying the problems. Maybe we could discuss this more over lunch tomorrow when you come in to work." Sam explained.
"Maybe, but that seems like something you and Marianne should discuss with a therapist. My parents had a great one. She was so great that she is now my stepmother, and helped my mom come out to my father." Hannah sighed as she opened her car door.
"Now that is something you could tell me over lunch tomorrow, but I respect your declining. Besides, you just started working, maybe we could try after you get more used to us." Sam backed off.
"Sounds like a plan. Goodnight, Sam." Hannah waved before she closed the door and started the car.
"Goodnight, Hannah." Sam waved back, before he headed back inside.
