Ok but imagine Phoenix is captured by a villain who uses a truth serum on them. The kind of one that just makes them talk as well.

Now imagine it hasn't worn off by the time they're rescued.

Whoever rescues them is shocked by just how much they assumed they wouldn't be rescued, and how low their self-esteem is. And they have a lot of feelings about it.

The rescuer could either be Kai and/or Aaron, who know Phoenix is bad but they didn't quite realise just how bad, or a member of Phoenix's new team who they haven't revealed any of this to yet and who is taken aback. Is it obvious Phoenix isn't exactly confident, and has been treated badly? Yes, but damn, they didn't realise their mental state was so awful.

Leaning towards Morfydd if I write this with a member of the new team tbh, bc they'd make the most sense with what everyone seems to know in the most recent piece, but idk. Kai and Aaron are always fun and they've had less focus recently, especially Aaron (bonus that Aaron takes patient confidentiality extremely seriously, so Phoenix could pretty much tell him anything and it wouldn't affect what anyone else knows by whatever point this is).

Anyway I can't start writing this for a while so I'm just going to be rotating it around in my brain like a rotisserie chicken, but if you have any thoughts (especially on who the rescuer could be) yell them at me!

The context of this is that I saw someone on Reddit say that they had "hundreds of followers" on a social media platform (AO3) and I was curious to know how many you'd have to have before other people would say you had hundreds.

I'm also curious to know if the context matters-- is there a different threshold for social media followers vs distance (hundreds of yards), etc.
