I'm just imagining that scene in Once More with Feeling when Dawn gets kidnapped! Poppy is sad and crying after this confrontation with her ex, does anybody notice? Does anybody even care? And then she turns around, and she gets snatched!

Alright, here's the response I was talking about... I hope it was worth the build up XD

"Hermosa, come back!"

"Leave me alone, Greasy."

Ignoring the sting of the unreturned endearment, the weasel desperately followed his love up the stairs of her complex. She couldn't see now with her back to him, but there was a hint of genuine fear for her in his eyes. If he couldn't get her to come with him, then she... "Please, just listen to me-"

Then, at the doorway of her apartment, her key in paw, the horror toon whirled around to face him for the last first time that evning. And what Greasy saw was enough to make him freeze in place; lips set in a thin, quivering line, her eyes wet with unshed tears, yet narrowed in pure rage towards him right now, and her whole form shaking with each breath she took. She had never looked at him this way before. Not even the night he forced her away. But he barely had any time to comprehend the fact that he caused that before she spoke, "No. You listen to me now, mister!"

Her usually soft voice was laced with pain and venom, and it actually made him take a step back from the intensity of it. His own eyes wide as he, for once, had nothing to say, "The last time we met, you drove me away... You chose not only to destroy everything I care about, you tried to hide it all from me! You used our love and trust for each other to disguise your evil!"

Her paws were clenched, the key in her right hand digging sharply into her palm, and her teeth ground together as she stepped closer to Greasy. She didn't jab a finger into his chest or shove him like he half expected her to, but she didn't need to to cut into him, "Then, after a whole week without a word from you, after you showed me how little you really care, you dare to come here!? Calling me all those things like that night never happened!?"

"I do care about you!" Greasy pathetically tried to interject. If he didn't care, he wouldn't be here trying to save her!

"Stop it! Just stop! You expect me to believe you anymore!?" Poppy actually yelled in the hall, and her voice cracked as the tears in her eyes started to slip down her cheeks. Though none of her neighbors tried to peek out to see what was going on. This was a part of town where people knew it was best to stay out of anyone else's business, after all, "How can I after everything you've done!? After what you're going to do!?"

"Mi amore-"

"No! You don't get to call me that anymore! You dont get to do this to me!"

For a few brief seconds, there was nothing but silence between them. One unsure what to say, and the other too hurt to care what he said. Sucking in a breath, Poppy chose to just turn her heel and work on unlocking her door, making Greasy snap out of his stunned silence and try one more time to reach to her, "Poppy, I... I need you."

"... I needed you too. You were supposed to be the only one in this town who would never hurt me like that... Not like Henry or Ben." She opened her door and quickly stepped inside, sending him one final, tear filled gaze through the crack of the door. Her glare was nearly gone, but that didn't lessen the twist in his heart at all, "I truly wanted you to be the one."

Being compared to those bastards and hearing the pure heartbreak in her voice very nearly made the cruel toon buckle. This was truly far worse than any object thrown at his head or bear trap clamped around his hand. How was it that it came from Poppy of all people? Good god, what had she done to him?? "Amore, please-"

"I was wrong."

Somehow, she managed to cut into him even deeper. There was nothing Greasy could do but push back the agony and reach for the door handle once Poppy closed her door on him. Though she proved to be faster than him with the click of her lock. No matter how hard he pulled or twisted the knob, all Greasy could do was listen to the muffled sobbing of a heartbroken woman behind the door.

A stubborn heartbroken woman, that he would do anything to ensure her safety.

I think it's safe to say that Poppy deserved to be cross with Greasy XD

Since Greasy didn't give Poppy a clue to when they were going to strike like Wheezy did, she didn't pack her things and leave town. She knows that she can't stay in Toontown though, or else she'll be dipped too. Would Greasy even care if she was? With his cold sneer still fresh in her mind, she does wonder this. So Poppy would actually be more stressed here; she doesn't know when or how the weasels are going to destroy everything, and she has no idea how much time she has to get help.

Because this is Judge Doom's plan, and he holds an iron fist over the law, she'd be too scared to try to find help within Toontown. Who knew who was friend or foe anymore? But Poppy does make frequent trips out to the human world to try to talk to the police there. The judge is human, so surely the human authorities could do something about him?

Poppy also would be receiving plenty of calls from her... 'Friends'. Greasy must not have told him that they were over. Or he did, and they wanted to check up on her. They're sweet to her, at least... They'd care about that at least, right? She doesn't know how to feel about that. It pains her to keep telling Stupid and Psycho that she can't come over she already went through too much confronting Greasy; she doesn't have the energy to berate her misguided friends, especially once they start trying harder to convince her to come over are they trying to keep her safe or do they just really want to see her? And Wheezy's calm but concerned inquiries make her want to cry or scream. And Smartass... Well, he's Greasy's best friend. Surely if anyone of the weasels know what's going on with her, it'd be him.

Poppy decides to try to use these phone calls, though; the more desperation in her friends' voices, the closer to the date of the plan she believes it is. It's a long shot, but it's the only tool she has. Besides, it makes it easier for her to answer the phone now, even if her own fear grows with each call, and she still hasn't found anyone who will save the town.

None of those calls were from Greasy. Sometimes, she can swear she hears him in the background on the other end of the phone, but he never comes on. Not that Poppy wants to talk to him. He's knowingly destroying everything she loves. And worse still, he tried to keep her completely oblivious to it. As far as she's concerned, she'll never get back together with him, even if they decide to stop this terrible thing they're doing.

She wants to hate him. Dear God, she wishes she could. But she can only manage to hate the part of her that won't forget his adoring words. His touch that always made her melt in his arms. All the times they'd spend in the kitchen, cooking and laughing together. How he trusted her enough to show her his more softer, vulnerable side... God, what has he done to her?

It's late when she comes back home. Having just spent the whole day being blown off by the humans again. She's tired and sad and scared; it's almost been a week, and she hasn't been able to do anything... And there he is, standing outside her complex with the van across the street, his dark eyes focused on her for the first time since they broke apart.

"Mi vida... Come back with me." Greasy tells her, taking her paw in his own to hold and looking deep into her confused eyes... Poppy could swear she saw a hint of desperation behind his dark orbs. Desperation for her, just like old times, "Please... You can't stay here."

... No. No, he couldn't do this. He couldn't just do this to her. Not after everything he had done. Not with what he was going to do.

Trying her hardest not to cry she doesn't want to shed another tear over her former lover again, Poppy pulls away from him, and quickly turns to go inside. Greasy follows her, and opens his mouth to try to speak again, but she beats him to the punch, "Your charm isn't going to work. Not anymore."

Oh, how the tables have turned. Greasy now being the one trying to reach his love, and Poppy being so cruel to him; he had been deprived of her for so long, and now he only has her cold shoulder. He follows her as she walks up the steps, trying so hard to convince her to leave with him while they still have time. But in the short time on the steps, before she slams her door in his face- and locks the door so he wouldn't be able to come in- he realizes how badly he fucked things up with her.

She was supposed to come back to him. This wasn't how he planned for this to go. And now, when it mattered most, she just wouldn't listen to him... "Mierda..."

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about how this turned out, and I know that this technically hasn't taken place after the events... But at the same time, I felt like Poppy deserved to slam the door on Greasy after what he did XD I wonder how Greasy is gonna try to get her back home 🤔

And- them just getting more and more desperate the closer to the date they get and possibly wanting to warn her or just say goodbye?? POPPY POSSIBLY HEARING THAT ASSHOLE GREASY IN THE BACKGROUND??

I just- love that Greasy is so cold and cruel here, except for the last part. It fits his character so well (or at least the version of him we've all built up in our heads XD), and its so stirring. Ughhhhhhh this is the kinda writing I love to read and write. He's so close but so far away. This shit is what words are for. I cant even-

A very quick overview of these types!

Vescordem: Maneaters/cannibals, excessively tall and strong.

Aleores: Minor dealmakers (goods and services). Jaw can unhinge and has venomous bite.

Sollicio: Major dealmakers - soul stealing ability. Often very good looking, has ichor powers.

Voxter: Ability to project 'thoughts' into someone else's mind - you ever have an intrusive thought? Same concept. All have a unique mark across the top part of their face.

Caumacies: Maneaters/cannibals, very strong. Has a third eye which sees only in heat vision - rarely opened simultaneously with normal eyes.

You know, i actually have an idea for a game that has nothing to do with anything I'm currently doing XD One day i'll actually have time to make it, maybe. But anyway currently my actual project is i'm planning on making a comic \o/

I AM PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE that i have thumbnailed like 70 pages of this bloody thing and i'm still only in the first quarter of the planned chapters lol OTL Once i finish thumbing the chapter I'm on I plan to go back and render the pages properly before starting to post them :D

You know, the concept of my characs being comfort characs for someone will never get old for me. It just tickles me pink ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ This answer will have two levels to it.

It's fine to RP or ask blog with Rire - he's one of my more "known" characs thanks to BTD so as long as credit is given (and it's made clear I'm not running the blog so it's not canon) then it's cool.

I'd prefer if no ask/RP blogs are created for any of my other BP or HH characs, as they are not as known yet. This may be revisited once i actually get the BP comic out but for now it's a no, sorry! (Though, if you are RPing in like...a private Discord with other friends who know who the characs are then I'm a bit more lenient with that.)

The reason for the BP/HH level is that ages ago when I had started establishing my own characs more, I randomly happened to find a forum where someone was RPing as Izm and .D but no one else knew who the characs were and so they clearly thought the RPer was the original artist and creator. Said RPer was not dissuading anyone of that notion. That has stuck with me for forever because at the time i never anticipated that someone would...actually try and do that with an OC. Like, bro srsly?!

This was the 2nd city out of 4 you were visiting for this little campaign of yours and while you loved every second of it, you really miss your bed. And your monkey. So while you sit tiredly in the back seat of an Uber taking you back to your hotel your thoughts shift to your boyfriend.

With a little start you realize you had forgotten to text him back! He’d sent you a text earlier today but you had just started the signing and didn’t have time to respond. Quickly you open your phone and smile as you always do opening the message chain between the two of you.

Followed by a little monkey sticker with its long arms in the shape of a heart. Fond warmth bubbles up inside you and you text him back.

You: Really? Took long enough! Send me a pic I wanna see it!

To your disappointment it goes unread even after you arrive at your hotel. With a little shrug you figure he’s probably finishing up training, it is about that time for him anyway. Setting your things down you pull out some pajamas and clean underwear deciding to take a quick shower before bed. Once done you climb into bed with your phone and laptop, there’s still no reply but the message has been read at least so hopefully he’s either on his way home to your shared apartment or just taking a shower of his own before replying.

To pass the time you start looking over your professional writing account on Instaglamour. Liking and resharing the pictures of you with fans that you had been tagged in and uploading a few of your own. It puts a smile on your face to know you’ve come so far from the struggling writer you used to be, now being blessed with having such a wonderful fan base.

You’re distracted though when your phone pings next to you and glancing at the name you grin widely your heart skipping a little beat like it always does at seeing Wukongs name on your screen.

Opening the message though is a whole other story.

Wukong had sent a selfie, he’s standing in front of your floor length mirror with a claw tipped hand resting on his cocked hip. His furry tail is curled up adorably behind him in his usual expression of ‘I’m being cheeky and I know it’. He’s grinning saucily at his phone and you cannot help but burst out into a loud full on belly laugh. The mischievous monkey is wearing your admittedly frilly peach colored shirt and his boxers. His fur is sticking up at odd angles and looks messy as it spills out over the collar and sleeve openings, showing he obviously struggled to get it on. The fur is extra soft and poofy looking as he’d obviously just gotten out of the shower and used the fully body blow dryer that most homes and apartments come with, apparently he hadn’t bothered brushing it. The poor shirt is stretched to max over his lithe but muscular chest, it looks like its ready to pop off his body honestly if he shifts just right, and you have to laugh at how his pecs are slightly pushed together making them look a little plumper than usual from the tight material.

He looks absolutely ridiculous and as much as you want to be mad at him for clearly ruining the shirt, you cant. It’s just too damn funny looking and your heart just finds his silly behavior endearing, you’ll definitely make him buy you a new one but for now as you cackle you send him little laughing emojis back.

It’s not even a minute later that he is video calling you and you immediately fall into another round of laughing as his pouting furry face comes into view and you see hes still wearing the too tight ruined shirt. Wukong scoffs and you can hear the clear offense in his voice as he demands you to tell him how pretty he is because you obviously dont appreciate him dressing up for you.

The way they wrote this scene was just so tender and soft, I HAD TO DRAW IT ‼️‼️😭😭🙏🏻💖💖✨✨ it was such a perfect treat considering how the previous chapters was "coarse" with how the story handled Malleus poor coping skills with loss, I love reading and rereading the chapters lol

I wishhh i was eloquent enough to verbalize how much I loved reading it 😩😩😩 The repeated questions of am i ill or that ever repeating quote that love is for the lonely then it gradually changed to its meant to be or or the way in every chapter there is always an element of Malleus wanting to get to know Yuu WAGHHHDJDBIEB JUST THE YEARNING OF IT ALL!!!!

ALSO ALSO ONE THING I NOTICED.... all the chapter names relates to a lament for the dead, and i just think thats such a devastatingly beautiful detail to add considering that even until the ending Malleus will still lose Yuu from death and he'll be alone just like how he always fears JUTSGUEGKFGDKBCHFKN i know it ended on a happy note but the chapter titles makes me think of that quote where "there WAS love but it didnt change anything" or smth😭😭😭

also love how "Malleus in a crisis" was written as well,,, malleus was so on character omfggg I swear Ames' characterization of this guy makes me feel like Yana Toboso is ghostwriting with them/lh ☠️☠️ LIKE HELLOOO the way the story sways erratically between Malleus accepting Yuu made an impact of his life and Malleus wanting to go back to being alone where he didnt know anything at all and wasn't quite in distress about having relationships, thats soooooo GOOD 😭😭💐💖💖💖 granted i cried from it though aihskwbks

Hai!! Thats a good question:]] When it comes to posting art, i wouldnt actually consider myself a chronically online kid but i did post my stuff from a young age in closed communities such as transformice forums and facebook with irl friends and relatives on it (with excessive descriptions)

And i didnt care for a long time, i think posting stuff should be an add-on to drawing, you dont draw to post but for yerself:]] If people scare you you can try doin that! Hunter x Hunter: Conspiracy theory

this is a big leap and a reach and feeds my narrative satisfaction.

and it involves HEAVY troupe copium and apologist things of that nature.

you've been warned. proceed with a grain of salt.

(also gonna. put it under a break bcs this got long as hell XD)

I think the troupe was not solely responsible for the kurtan massacre and are on the Black Whale 1 to show the one responsible that they aren't going to continue to protect his clean record.

allow me to explain, starting with yorknew.

so i have had this theory knocking around in my head that the yorknew auction was meant to be a sort of finale or huge thing. because that was a big deal right, that's the world mafia they're pissing off.

AND it was weird bcs chrollo wanted everything at the auction. the troupe calls him out on that. and since we all know chrollo is a theatrical bastard, there is a meaning behind everything so this is no different.

so why does he want to declare war on the world mafia.

here's what we know.

meteor city was selling their own people to the mafia for a guarantee of safety from the black market. we don't know if these people went willingly or not but it was why the mafia didn't want to continue to pursue the troupe. the connection between meteor city and the world mafia was very important.

we know a few things changed between the troupe flashback and present day.

a) the troupe gained a reputation. until yorknew, apparently no one knew they were from meteor city.

b) the elders learned how to use nen. at the very least, we know of one counteractive nen ability that was used to protect the city's citizens from unfair indictment. there were probably more but we dont know for sure.

c) the mafia had gotten really comfortable with their connection with meteor city, now relying more on the city than the city relied on it.

chrollo was the one who most likely set up this relationship. it was his promise to set up the city as a hub for criminals so that he could personally witness and sift through the absolute scum of the earth to find sarasa's killers.

so based on all of this:

Yorknew City was meant to be the start of chrollo's grand finale to tear down the criminal infrastructure in meteor city.

but, things happened. and he got his ass beat.

POINT IS: Chrollo organizes his attacks with purpose.

.... SO WHY THE FUCK IS THIS DUMBASS TRYING TO ATTACK THE KAKIN FUCKING EMPIRE.

"attack" being an exaggeration but cmon. stealing from is the same thing as coming over and spitting in their food.

here's where the conspiracy theory comes in.

what if the kurta massacre wasn't exclusively done the troupe.

yes this is the part with the troupe apologist bullshit but hear me out. i have something interesting to share.

so at this point we know the troupe doesn't do petty theft anymore. this isn't just a "hey the kakin empire is rich. lets rob them :D" job. chrollo on a mission.

i saw this on twitter and a single post led down this downward spiral. (images are linked to the post)

so these pages stood out to me. the troupe never starts fights? that sounds stupid. sound goofy even.

but it's true.

or, phrased correctly, the troupe doesn't start fights they don't know how to finish. since chrollo is the head, they all function as his limbs, meaning they share his mentality when approaching combat: he will not take fights he can't guarantee he will win.

that being said, as shown in the pages above, they will ALWAYS pick up the gauntlet. if someone picks a fight with THEM, the entire gang will spin the block. aint no one surviving.

in the succession war arc, they were framed for the murder of a char-r member because luini was a toxic fan.

so here's the hypothetical: what if the troupe was framed for the kurta massacre?

we know their hands aren't clean. uvo, chrollo, phinks and pakunoda all recall the killing, so that's evidence they were there for it.

here's some things I don't understand about the event though.

a) the kurta were supposedly super well hidden, to the point that when kurapika was shown in vol 0/the phantom rouge, there were tribe traditions that forbade anyone that couldn't hide their eyes properly from going outside of the village. this was like. i think 1 year or so before the massacre.

b) when exactly did the eyes become relevant to body part collection? if it is believed that the troupe attacked the clan for the money that the eyes sell for, that means there must have been some already on the market. we dont get confirmation of this

c) how was a process for preserving magic eyes conceived at this time? im flabbergasted.

leaning mostly on point b, the kurta clan must have had previous victims of their scarlet eyed members getting got. which leads to point a, heightened protection of the kurtans with scarlet eyes.

but, as is anything in the hxh world, if there is something rare, there will always be a market for it.

now keep in mind what i said before: the troupe never picks up fights unless they know they can win and unless there's an ulterior motive. money doesn't matter to them, neither does infamy. at this point they're grade A bounties so yeah, neither of those things mean jack shit.

so i raise the idea that was in that twitter post: what if someone framed the spiders for the massacre and they took it in stride. that's free street cred, of course they claim ownership.

but let's go back and analyze, because who in their right mind would pick these randoms.

the kakin empire would. or someone associated with a high seat of power that can't afford to be tainted with something like genocide.

let's look at fourth prince tserreidnich.

im not saying he specifically pointed the finger at the spiders, but he was most likely the benefactor that wanted the scarlet eyes in the first place. he would stop at no means and he lets his people handle the dirty work.

he even has a damn head that is probably also kurtan.

so let's go out on a limb and say that tserreidnich ordered a party of mercenaries to track down the kurta clan so he could expand his collection. but, obviously, the group can't take the blame, so they pin it on the troupe or claim to be the troupe.

and because the troupe was wronged all of those years ago, chrollo is now aiming a full frontal assault against the kakin empire. hisoka is just a side quest. chrollo *remembers* how he was wronged.

so to recap. here's how the theory says the story goes.

the phantom troupe is in lukso province for whatever reason. probably to target the large movement of body part collectors to the region or something completely unrelated.

the 4th prince's team moves into the kurta village and starts taking the eyes. the kurtans successfully fight back and demand to know who they are. they answer, "we're the spiders"

and the kurtans, now hell bent on revenge for their fallen, seek out the troupe and pick a fight. and the troupe being the troupe, pick up the gauntlet no questions asked.

(alt. the kurtans seek out a powerful ally in the troupe to fight back against what we assume are trained human hunters and when they fail, beg to be killed as well)

chrollo at the time doesn't question the interaction. it was a gang of violent vagabonds trying to right a wrong that the troupe didn't even participate in.

it bothers him, just a little bit, that someone would try to frame the troupe for an atrocity that they didn't do. sure, it fit their narrative and added to their reputation, but it bothers him that someone out there had used their name.

but come yorknew, he's confronted with a surviving kurta. and the problem resurfaces.

he has his hands full trying to reroute the course of the yorknew heist and has to cut a lot of his plans short. he still completed his goal and started the process of severing ties between the mafia and meteor city.

but now the kurta are a problem in his life again and once he gets that damn chain out of his chest, he has two things to focus on:

a) getting away from hisoka to gather abilities

b) figuring out how to deal with kurapika

he remembers the kurta and is totally okay with shouldering the blame for their elimination. but that means that he's clearing the name of someone else for free.

and he doesn't do shit for free.

since he doesn't have to worry about meteor city immediately (the 10 dons are dead and the world mafia is in shambles), he can move onto bigger fish.

right now, his goal is to figure out the truth behind the kurtan massacre. and his search leads him to 4th prince tserriednich. a man in possession of eyes that the troupe didn't sell and way more than the 36 total that *should* be on the market.

THAT is why chrollo is picking a fight with the kakin empire. THAT is why he is on the black whale one. he's here to settle a 7 year old score, and if he can take hisoka down at the same time? good for him.

anyway thats my crazy conspiracy theory. there are some wrinkles in here that may be defied by canon reveals later in the story.

but damn would this make sense for why chrollo is on that damn boat. bcs i know he isn't stupid enough to send the ENTIRE TROUPE on a suicide mission just for hisoka.

so unless we get a reveal of something else substantial, this is what i'm working with.

ive grouped them into similar categories just bc of the volume of characters so i hope you dont mind!!

Al Haitham, Xiao, Cyno, and Wanderer won't directly talk to you about his feelings if it doesn't seem like you return them. He also doesn't want to run the risk of crossing any boundaries without certainty that you would want him to act romantically. Things wouldn't really progress unless you actively told him how you feel about him, or became more obvious. He isn't the most receptive to cues but can understand them if you're going to be obvious enough about it. Once he starts understanding that you want to pursue a romantic relationship with him things will develop faster, telling you that he feels the same and he wants things to develop.

Thoma, Kaeya, Lyney, and Kazhua notice that you're growing a little more reserved around him. You're pulling away because you're worried your feelings are going to become even more obvious if you spend too much time around him. He's kind enough to try and respond similarly, worried that he's done something to offend you. He'll ask you one day if there's a reason why you're pulling away from him, eventually leading to your confession to him about your feelings. He'll lightly tease you for hiding them from him, telling you that he feels the same and if you had just admitted them to him earlier the two of you could have been together by now.

Lawlu as parents mmm, (mpreg Luffy vibes)

Luffy doesn't have any father figures in his early life, not even sure what dads do with a kid that is not dump on some island and ditch.

Shanks and his five seconds of fame that Luffy mentions every chance he gets dont count in this scenario, I love Shanks as a dad content, but his track record is spotty xd

Law as a Father is conflicted, scared, and happy at the same time. He had a loving biofather who treated them with kindness and still thinks that Cora made a great guardian despite their rough start together. So he tries to follow their example, so he would never leave his child, though he looks at how Luffy was raised and decides that he will be solely responsible for their kid.

Thats okay, he has a space on the polar tang for when it arrives, decorating with sunflowers and hearts so atleast the kiddo knows the symbols of both their parents, even if they never get the chance to meet Luffy for long.

The relationship Law and Luffy have in Law's eyes is just some fun and a distraction when they both needed it most. So they ended up with a kid in the process, its fine. Law gets used to repeating its fine through the entire process of getting things ready for the child to be part of his life.

Then they arrive, a little ball of shine that resembles them both with bright pale eyes and a brighter smile.

Law is completely taken by their baby. He will spoil them and give them world!

Luffy does that stare of his when he is serious about something, an unwavering determination focused on the kid. It unnerves Law a little as they usually share everything, and he understand what Luffy is thinking better than he did when they met, but sometimes its hard to read Luffy's focused expressions. Especially now,

Law decides its best not to ask, he doesnt want to hear that Luffy thinks they should leave the child behind for its own sake. Worry gnawing at his mind, that he will have to do something drastic to keep the baby and that it will break the relationship he built with Luffy and the strawhats

The baby has to stay on the Sunny for a few weeks, and Law decides to stay there as well. He is determined not to leave the kid. Every waking moment he is carrying the baby arround, washing, feeding, anything he can do while Luffy recovers.

Running himself ragged in the process. He wants to be the best parent ever, and sleep or food doesn't factor into the equation when Law gets hyperfocused. He is a mess. Coming into the nursery on the Sunny with a yawn, just to look at their baby.

Luffy stops him before Law can go to pick them. Instead, forcing Law to take his bed in the room next door.

Law out like a light as soon as his head hits the pillow. When he wakes up, Luffy and the baby are gone. His mind immediately jumps to the worst-case scenario. They are both pirates, and a ship is no place for a baby. That's something Luffy said before, quoting Shanks. So Law is worried he didn't even get to say goodbye.

Law is not bothering to grab his hat, his sword, or even to put on shoes, slipping on the wood. He hears Luffy laughs and runs into the kitchen of the Sunny.

Much ot his relief and surprise, the baby is still there. Luffy is wearing one of those baby slings that let him move around hands free, chattering to the kid about what food Sanji is making, getting everything wrong, much to Sanji's annoyance, as he corrects his captain, determined that the baby knows for sure that cooking is an art!

Law pulling Luffy into a hug, something he only does when nobody is watching. Yet now he doesnt care because they are still there. Luffy chuckles and hugs him back. "Duh, we're still here Traffy" He ruffles Law's hair, the baby giggles where it is pressed between them.

Law after that mini panic at losing family once again, decides to talk to Luffy and what they are doing. That he is prepared fo take care of the kid on the polar tang and while its Luffy's choice in the end and not his, he would rather have the kid in his life then leave it on some island whete it might be safe. Might not have people after it just for being born, but Law would rather be able to protect their kid all on his own.

Luffy pouts, "Who said you gotta do things alone, Traffy?" Luffy holds their kid closer. He tells Law about how even though he dont care about it anymore, he remembers how he felt about being tossed out all the time as a kid and that it hurt not having a place to belong.

He remembers how much Ace hated his dad for leaving him with old man Garp. How Uta felt when Shanks left her.

Luffy aint gonna do that. The kid stays and they are gonna raise it with their crews, with their families and make sure it knowz that its loved!

Law smiles with a soft expression, tension leaving his body. They will have to deal with a lot of danger and shenanigans to protect their child in the future, but at least they will do it together.

some a bit less structured ideas/current plans

im reusing the forgotten plateau as the tutorial area for the totk rewrite .... but its INSIDE; you get put there after the start by rauru and have to rebuild the bracelet thingy around his arm bc it got destroyed/damaged in the struggle with ganondorf and the bracelet thing is what has the abilities instead of just .. him? having it somehow? but also not for some reason? bc i find that more believable and lends itself well to gaining one after the other by putting its parts back together (it also feels a bit more controlled in a way, not everyone would have been allowed to have them back in his days)

consider it like .. raurus secret basement, as his castle was also put on the forgotten plateau (but not in the spot of the citadel of time bc wtf, and by now its gone like most else he built), with it being all underground and without a map you wouldnt even know where you are (also i find it to be in character; id imagine it was still called the cradle of hyrule even without the kingdom being there- and thats where he got the idea from to name his "new" kingdom 'hyrule'- not knowing that was its name before)

(as of now the addmittedly cool moment of first jumping down from the canon totk tutorial isnt included but that can still change also i personally think its pretty cool to have to climb all the way up to the sky before getting to explore it- plus the sky is mainly for shiekah stuff since they are so .. having to do with celestial stuff and the sonau in the rewrite are from the underground- though theres little actual sonau stuff left and the shiekah were there too bc its been a long ass time after all)

its not in great shape overall and some rooms have been discovered by the ancient shiekah in the past who studied the bracelet parts they found and use that research to make the stasis and bomb runes (at least), since im bringing back the bombs and the time reversal is what the stasis rune was based on- at the end of which you have to fight a miniboss monster sent after you by gan (bc he damn well knows where rauru would flee to) get your first heart container and are let go into the world

i know its way more strict and less free but it could be a big basement and honestly i dont think trying to copy the fantastic tutorial that is the forgotten plateau in botw is the best idea bc it will almost certainly feel like a worse copy, so id just go for something that doesnt chain itself to attempting to imitate it

(the final battle will also take place on the forgotten plateu, but after the switch and rauru starting to changing hyrule to what he wants it to be its lifted up and he brings his castle back on it- which will be a dungeon on its own)

(another more random thought, i do want the aesthetic of the sonau to be more like they were in botw, the ruins you can find in it are the ones from other sonau that survived on the surface without tech past rauru doing the whole thing with ganondorf and everthing but their numbers having been rather low and dwindling over time anyway- but perhaps rauru has a bit of a different idea, in part bc he is older and still attached to their older style that didnt evolve any further and ... it might just be his personal taste to some degree xD

which ALSO makes sense bc if there were other sonau still alive even after rauru did his thing, it would be logical that the remains of their ruins were in better shape (in the rewrite theres barely anything of sonau architecture left until the switch and rauru bringing it back)- they still lived there for quite some time after all- while the ones from rauru largely fell victim to time or to people intentionally getting rid of it bc surely not everyone was loyal to him)

(also an idea for the gerudo sage, there was one loyal to rauru who did do his bidding but in the temple thing she was supposed to wait for rauru was hunted down by 'koume and kotake' -which im not sure if i want them to be gans moms or his daughters bc i also like that idea, im still working with the totk canon thing of it being a new ganondorf btw bc it just works better for this scenario im working with atm- and they took her place guarding the stone hoping that gan would first return there -perhaps its like extra difficult and rather intentionally structured to be anti rauru in way, and less like gan having overtaken it- .. plus i like the idea of you being able to return there after the switch bc you could get a bit extra lore and story for gans background bc he surely wouldnt have wanted to find them there- he might not even have known they were there bc he never managed to break into this temple so the things that stop you in it when you first do it alongside rauru were all placed there by the two and not gan)

i wish i knew more about the best go-to sites for pirating rn unfortunately i have no clue. ppl on the internet can have such shit intentions too so i dont even know where to look or who to ask. but also here's some free + VERY cheap things u may consider (below the break):

vital synth (i will always shill for vital bc i use it constantly and its free lol)

ob-xd synth (it says buy for $49, but the free download is on the left. the buy link is just a donate)

klanghelm plugins (all these are made by one dude. mjuc is a great vintage style compressor, the dc8c is a pretty featured compressor for the price, sdrr has a particularly nice tube saturation/distortion, and vumt is a great metering plugin, i have vumt on every single project since 2019)

analog obsession (if you donate $5 to their patreon you can get every single plugin they make. also all made and maintained by one person. lots of different things, so i recommend just downloading everything and exploring the functions of the plugins)

tokyo dawn labs (all very high quality mixing stuff. they have free versions of most of their premium stuff and they're quite featured despite being free. ez.)

kilohearts (they recently made all their main effects free. and if you want their flagship stuff, its all rent-to-own as well.)

sforzando (soundfont player. if you dont know what soundfonts are, theyre essentially really condensed, lightweight sampled instruments. they can often sound rlly cheap or tacky [which might be good, i definitely love that sound] but just install this and google [instrument] soundfont and just find lots of free instruments that way)

togu audio line (some free effects and instruments if you scroll down. but i also recommend TAL Sampler if you want a cool sampler and can afford it)

meldaproduction (has a free plugin suite. theres an annoying watermark at the bottom for free versions, but everyone understands. shit is expensive)

native instruments (they have the komplete start bundle which is just a bunch of free decent stuff)

musicradar FREE SAMPLES (ive sworn by a few of the sample resources that i've gotten from musicradar as far back as 2011 lol)

looperman FREE SAMPLES (looperman is a user-sourced sample website where ppl upload samples they've made* and you can just download and use them for free. sometimes people request specific credit, so check for that if you can. *NOTE: its very possible for people to upload unlicensed samples or stuff they didn't make so use your best judgement when sorting through stuff)

freesound FREE SAMPLES (freesound rules always reliable)

synth1 (AHHHH IM SO HAPPY I CAN RECOMMEND THIS RIGHT NOW!!!! synth1 used to be abandonware but was finally picked up again and is supported by modern systems once more. i used this religiously from 2013-2017. and i'm going to start using it again honestly)

valhalladsp (this is the only exclusively premium thing i'm going to leave in this thread [aside from bitwig, below], but it's just that god damn good. every plugin of theirs is $50, so if you can manage to go for ValhallaVintageVerb and/or ValhallaDelay you will basically never need another reverb/delay ever again; would recommend NOT pirating from them if you can help it bc theyre definitely a very small company but u know.. ur call)

bitwig (if you need a DAW, i can now heartily recommend Bitwig. it's on the rent to own program through splice if you're ok getting it legally...)

i know this isnt what u asked but i hope its still helpful. i've also rescinded my recommendations for spitfire audio bc the company was revealed to be run by a bunch of queerphobic knuckleheads. everything in this list i have personally used for my own music and can vouch for them from actual experience (YES even bitwig, i made the song "Futura" on Carousel exclusively with Bitwig, making it the first time i've made an entire song outside of Ableton since 2014).

Hey, so, I was reading your request rules n stuff and I do have an idea but I'm not sure if it'd be considered a character (and therefore I'd have to commission it) or not.

I made some TADC oc concept art before e2 came out, one of which was a scalie, and happens to look Incredibly like Gummigoo. (Og concept was gator XD ... then salmon ish then a spinosaurous) and after e2 I kinda decided to scrap em? Or well, that was the idea but then I was thinking. If I kept them, and they joined the circus, how would Pomni react? Because of how similar they look to gummigoo (rip)

Essentially I want to ask if this (Pomni meeting/reacting to seeing reader, who looks like Gummigoo. Platonic. Between Pomni and reader, at least. idrc if it's Pomni x gummigoo or just platonic) is something you'd be down to write and if it'd be something I'd have to commission or if it's something you would/could queue.

And if I'd have to commission it; if you're commissions are open right now, and what are your prices n stuff?
