Chopper is BEYOND CONVINCED that Sabo is a vampire.

One day, sabo volunteered as an assistant in a medical class chopper was taking. He was acting as chopper’s patient as he was learning the patient procedures of a checkup.

It was all going fine, chopper got all the patient identification out of the way and next was to acquire blood pressure, breath count, and heart rate. But the stethoscope and pressure monitor wasn’t working, and it make it seem like Sabo,,, didnt have a pumping heart,, or blood,,, or really breathed at all(he doesnt take very visible breaths).

Chopper was stricken with fear at this and assumed the absolute worse as he looked in horror at Sabo’s naturally pale complexion and long canine teeth. Chopper simply jotted down the average count of each recording instead of getting new equipment, and tried not to think about it, but

“huh, all of those numbers are usually lower than that. Maybe all that Special Concoction™ i drink is finally catching up to my heart rate.”

“how much have you.. drunk?”

“like for today? Or since I woke up.”

Chopper is fucking horrified. Sabo woke up to being a vampire and drinks blood as a special concoction. He cannot believe this.

”Never mind, I don't need to know, its all normal, you're normal.”

“Wow… that's the first time a medical practitioner has called me normal. My brothers are gonna get a real kick outta this.”

CHOPPER IS FUCKING HORRIFIED. HE HAS BRETHEREN??? Chopper just keeps his head down and finishes up the check up practice as Sabo remarks he has another class in the blood bank, which was lemon in the paper cut for chopper.

For a month or so after that day, Chopper didn’t see Sabo at all, and he forgot about his fear for a little while. However one night as chopper was hanging with Luffy and a few others in the straw hat friend group, there was a knock at the door. Chopper happily said “I’ll get it~” as the rest of the group continued in conversation.

Chopper skips over to the door and when he opens it, he sees the figure of Sabo standing in front of him. Tall and opposing, smiling a big toothy grin with bright blue eyes shining from the overhead lighting. He’s wearing a long trench coat with the collar popped and an ascot was wrapped around his neck.

What chopper was seeing before him.

Was the vampire.

He let out a scream right out of a horror film and promptly fainted.

A minute or two later, he awoke laying on the couch, feet elevated and vest unbuttoned, to his friends looking at him from the foot of the couch.

He goes to stand up, but a strong gloved hand stops his movement and guides him back down

“Don't get up too quickly, little man.”

Chopper looked next to him and saw The Vampire. What was he doing in his house?!?!?

“Are you alright, bud? You opened the door for me, screamed in my face, and then passed out.”

“I’m fine, thank you,” Chopper said with the highest voice-crack to word ratio in his entire life.

“Right. Well again, dont get up too quickly, if you need water or anything let your friends know. I just came here to pick up Luffy cuz some family stuff came up. Have a good night!”

“…you too, and thanks for taking care of me…”

“No prob!”

“One last question?” Inquired chopper.

“What's up?”

“Did someone invite you in?”

PS: Sabo's "special concoction" consists of Red Bull and Espresso. He hasn't slept in 72 hours. This will have lasting effects on his health.

You and Marcille had a rocky start to your friendship to say the least. The issues between the elves and the orcs still caused some bad blood between the two of you. Sure after senshi cooked for everyone it had gotten better, that issue was still there. Plus you already weren't the biggest fan of magic so this was just another point of contention between the two of you.

You two would argue back and forth and numerous times you two would end up getting annoyed at each other and bicker to the point chilchuck had to step in. Eventually though as you grew to know each other more you warmed up to each other.

You realize that despite her attitude, marcille is actually a genuinely kind person who cares about others and doesnt think she is better than anyone (unlike most elves). So you two eventually become good friends and even joke about how you two were at the start.

You already knew senshi since he had spent years among the orc tribe and so you two were already good friends at this point. In fact he was the one that promised to the orc chief that you would be ok and he would make sure of it on his word.

However when you joined the party a new issue between you and senshi started, What he made you eat. You were particular in what you are willing to eat, the problem being that in senshis eyes you werent getting proper nutrients and you two would argue back and forth about eating things like vegetables and other foods you didnt like.

Eventually you and him come to an agreement, you would eat the vegetables and other things he cooked up only if he made sure they were small enough that you wouldnt notice them or they were cooked in a way to hide things like flavor and texture.

You and chilchuck actually got around pretty well when you first joined the party. You respected his skills as a lockpick and how good he was at avoiding and disarming traps. you couldnt count how many orcs had been injured or worse from those damn dungeon traps. So having somebody who knew what to do around them was nice for a change.

You knew about half foots and so you didnt treat him like a child, in fact chilchuck was older than you so you treated him as such. This made him happy considering how senshi and marcille treated him. However when he revealed the fact that he had a three children and a divorce it caught you off guard.

Chilchuck and you would also share drinks some times. You and him being the only ones in the party that enjoyed alcohol. The two of you would enjoy drinks together and tell stories about each others lives. You wouldnt have expected a half foot to be able to keep up with an orc in terms with drinking, but the little guy was full of surprises.

You and izutsumi bonded immediately over your shared pickiness with eating. Both of you backing the other when refusing to eat certain foods.

Her care free lifestyle and looking out for herself as well as her physical prowess reminded you of a fellow orc and you began to see her as an honorary orc. She found you to be the least annoying and so would often stick around you more than anyone else.

Thanks to your body build, fur covering, and size izutsumi found you the most comfortable person to sleep with. She would curl up against you and enjoy how warm you were, you didnt mind as it reminded you of sleeping along side the wargs you and leed would raise and you both end up sleeping well next to each other.

Laios was the main reason you joined the party, the respect he showed to you and your fellow orcs was a surprise for a tallman. And the fact the chief and leed supported him made your decision to join him all the more firm.

Laios was more than excited to have you on the team! he was fascinated by the orcs and was so excited to hear you wanted to travel with them. This gave him the chance to ask you all kinds of questions. He asked you about life as a dwarf, about what it was like being a dwarf and any other question that could come to his head.

You answer them all, surprisingly happy to talk about being an orc and what that entailed. You were proud of what you were and to see a tallman respect that and show interest made you feel good. You made a passing comment about how you were sure things like your tusks and fur and tail made you ugly in his eyes. "actually i think there really cute." he comments causing you to stutter and look at him in confusion, expecting him to have been joking but the look of sincerity on his face caused you to get flustered, waving it off saying that a tallman like him wouldnt know about orc beauty. He simply shakes his head saying he does think your incredibly beautiful, that to him humans are boring and so having cool things like tusks and fur and a tail are so cool and he is almost jealous of you.

Ever since then the way you looked at laios was different, before you looked at him as just a rare tallman that respected you and your people...but now you started to view him in a different way. He was kind and caring and shown a genuine interest in you and what you did. You look at him and feel a warmth under the fur of your cheeks, you feel your tail wag excitedly when you see him, and you can feel your mind drifting to him whenever your alone. It is safe to say you had fallen in love with laios

But there was no way he could love you back right? you were an orc, and you could never imagine somebody like him loving an orc. Surely his fascination and comments about you are simply his weird obsession with monsters. That was it, it couldnt be anything else. You couldnt imagine a tallman would ever love an orc?

So imagine you shock when one night he presents you a necklace made out of the teeth and bones of the monster you all had killed earlier. "i was doing some reading and saw that Orc courtship involved creating jewelry and trinkets out of the bones of enemies you have killed. Y/N...i really like you, and i like you more than just because your an orc...even though that part is really cool! but i also do really like you and i wanted to make this necklace for you. If you would accept my courtship attempt." By the time he finished his sentence you had already pulled him into a hug kissing him, it was awkward at first as the two of you adjusted for your tusks and his lack of them but you found your comftorable zone as the two of you kissed. Eventually breaking the kiss he smiles wildly, his cheeks a rosy color "wow! im glad the information in my book was right!"

It was a hot day in the summer, the house surrounded with cold drinks, bikinis, and a big pool at the edge. After his friends convinced him, anton went around the school to invite people to his house. A pool party, in short.

He wasnt surprised when people showed up, considering he was giving out free food and a warm pool to dive in. But he was surprised when he saw you walk through the door, your hair in a loose pony tail and a dry towel wrapping your shoulders.

Although he was quiet in class, he was extra nervous around you, beating himself up when you left for his constant stuttering and rosy cheeks. He wanted to impress you, show you that he wasnt always quiet, that he had a wild side to him. Maybe thats why he agreed to the party in the first place, his friends knowing his oh so obvious feelings for you.

With a nervous wave he beckons you over, taking in a deep breath to calm down his raging heart. "Hey!! You made it!" His voice was higher than how he anticipated since he really, really thought you weren't going to show up.

"Of course! How could i turn down some free food?" You joke, going in for a hug which anton awkwardly accepts, his arms wrapping around your bare waist, as you were already in your bikini. Since he was taller, you head layed on his chest, his fast heart beating in your ears.

You finally release the hug, a smile tugging at your lips when you look up at the pink boy that was avoiding your eye contact. "Stop looking at mee!!" He whines, covering your eyes with his hands as you laugh.

"Would you stop coupling and come on!!" A boy calls, sungchan. "R-right, be right there." Anton shouts back, turning his head to look down at you. "Let's go.." he quietly mutters, leading the way as you run beside the boy, grabbing his hand.

The party goes on as usual, different classmates taking turns to jump off the singular diving board in the lee family, each person showing off their cool skills.

After getting a drink spilled on, anton had no choice but to take off his shirt, revealing his toned chest and abs. The boys teasing as per usual and your cheeks flushed.

It was your turn to jump off the diving board. With each step of the ladder, you felt a new ounce of confidence wash over you. Finally at the top, you give anton a quick wave, steadying your legs to prepare your jump.

Out of the corner of your eye, you watch as anton frantically at your direction, causing you to turn around. The board was already slippery because of the wet water, so you slide off, your ankle twisting as you let out a scream.

Everyones heads turn at the noise, antons eyes widening as he quickly jumps into the pool to fetch your body.

"You didnt kill her ton, i told you your waving was going to get her attention. Shes just unconscious."

Your eyes slowly open to find shotaro sending anton a sideways smirk, the boy quickly looking down as his cheeks pinken. "Guys..?" You groan, the boys putting their attention back on you.

"Hey! We- i mean I gotta get some stuff, soo anton will stay with you." Shotaro quickly scurries away before anton can even reject, a nervous smile plastered on his face as he looks back at you.

"Hi.." he awkwardly waves, feeling a little better that youre able to wave back. "What happened?"

"You had slipped off, and twisted your ankle." He quietly informs, rubbing your red ankle with some ice. "Shotaros gonna get some more ice, and whatever else you need." He offers a small smile, giving a nod.

"Thanks." You tiredly smile at the boy, using your arms to prompt yourself up to lay your head on a chair. "Oh! Lemme help you.." anton scoots beside you, taking your head and laying it on a pillow. "Thanks." You repeat, noticing how anton was a little too close to you. His pink lips catching your attention as your eyes drift from his eyes, anton quickly noticing.

He gulps, his adams apple bobbing as he leans down, placing a soft kiss on your lips. You let out a giggle at the feeling, wrapping your arms around the boys neck to deepen it.

Ok ill have to try to write out everything i've got so far!

So the original premise was that ingo and emmet got mixed up and ingo got sent to hell instead of emmet as an oopsie (emmet didnt do anything overly bad in life but heaven/hell stuff is so arbitrary they probably just made a weird decision somewhere down the line lol) but i thinkkk i have switched it to Ingo gets sent to hell because Volo successfully sacrificed him in a ritual and emmet, while dying in the same place, wasnt actually part of it so normal rules still applied to him. Ingo's soul is all messed up and corrupted because of the ritual which caused his amnesia. Emmet finds out about Ingo being sent to hell after he cant find ingo anywhere in heaven and rightfully gets upset at heaven's lack of action because he see's ingo's situation as a huge injustice. So Emmet's whole thing is basically just causing problems until he finds his way to hell and reunites with ingo.

Ingo's situation is where the fun is lol. So he wakes up after spawning in hell and is just a total odd-ball. Half because he doesnt remember ANYTHING from before he died. Maybe not even his name? Which is weird. And also because he's a total sweetheart. No one can figure out why he's even there because it's not like he's a hellborn so he must have done something to end up in hell. After a brief period of wandering around aimlessly, Lady Sneasler, who is an overlord in this au, kinda adopts him and takes him places because she thinks hes so charming and adorable. Melli is just a guy that hangs around lady sneasler even though he acts like he doesnt like her? She's the poison overlord (kinda like an aqua tofana situation for sneasler) and melli is a poison guy. So they kinda just fall into the same group. So they both become friends of Ingo. After a while of character introductions and some brief fun stuff like Sneasler getting Ingo to do all kinds of fun stuff he probably wouldnt do on his own (like the clubbing thing lmao) Ingo has his first blackout, probably triggered by some sort of memory thing, and its kinda terrifying. When he has those blackouts he shifts into his full demon form and his power goes haywire causing a lot of destruction. Its a huge shock because normally regular sinner demons dont really have much in terms of inherent power and also because Ingo cant actually use his powers while conscious so there was no sign of him being capable of that level of chaos. Anyway, after he has his little blackout his body sustains damage from exerting that kind of power and is kinda down for the count for a while afterwards. His story from there on is figuring out what is going on with him and trying to stop those blackouts before it either destroys him or a good chunk of the city, whichever comes first lmao. Sneasler is kinda just there to reign in ingo and melli she just loves a good show lol Melli is kinda where i wanna connect it more to the existing hazbin characters/storyline. Because this is lowkey more of a crossover. He accidentally becomes charlie's new pet project which no one is a fan of 😂 melli did not volunteer for this at all but his character arc is learning to make friends and care about other people after pushing people away for so long because he's a huge ball of self-hatred. He's kinda perfect for the "i can fix him" thing the hotel is all about. SO he's stuck learning to become a better person and being the narrative connection back to the core of the actual show lmao. Not sure if they ever even stay at the hotel. Maybe ingo and melli could flip flop between sneasler's place and the hotel. They dont actually have places of their own so its one or the other. In terms of intra character interactions i think its like this (this is prolly set post-s1 so no sir pentious): Charlie: thinks ingo is nice, wants to fix melli and is working with ingo to do this. Her relationship w sneasler is similar to rosie in my head. Alastor: finds Ingo somewhat threatening because Ingo can read him like a book. would otherwise find him pleasant but because he has a hard time keeping up his mysterious scary image around him he avoids him if possible. Ingo really likes him because "he reminds him of someone but he cant put a finger on it", will teleport away if melli is in the vicinity, finds sneasler charming. would gossip with her 10/10. When emmet shows up they try to kill each other which is entirely unsurprising. Everyone else in the hotel is more or less "theres something not right about that ingo guy but he's nice enough i guess", "FUCK melli get him OUT OF HERE", and "lady sneasler is chill" and when emmet shows up theyre just like "oh this explains why he likes alastor so much. Now theres TWO OF THEM." I would like to develop the other character's opinions on the situation more but this is getting. so so long. misc other character stuff: 

Lady sneasler still has sneasels, usually 3 of them. they just have tiny wings and horns but otherwise look like regular sneasels. No clue what their deal is they just exist. 

Rosie and Sneasler get along great. they are kinda similar but fill different power-niches in hell. 

Rosie finds ingo SO charming. She loves his odd vintage flair despite literally dying like. in the 2020s lol. He's very popular in cannibal town because he's a train freak and edwardians love trains. He takes the cute edwardian cannibal kiddies on train rides.

im not really sure what goes on with emmet in this au i just know he's having a shit time of it and eventually finds ingo. I havent decided if he actually falls or just leaves heaven because it sucks and no one cares enough to stop him. Also only slightly related but i actually have a voice-canon for him which is will wood which works great for this au lmao. Also emmet plays killer jazz piano and alastor is so mad about it because its actually good.

emmet and alastor dont really have all that much in common besides the smile thing but its just enough for them to beef over it. really its a similar feud as alastor and lucifer, alastor sees emmet as a threat both because of his power and the smile thing and emmet doesnt like that ingo is following alastor around like a lost puppy. emmet is def way less mysterious, he's just pissed that his brother is suffering even if ingo doesnt seem to notice his own problems.

volo doesnt really come back up in this au because he's still alive. just imagine that akari is kicking his ass in the living world or something lmao. 

i cant decide if pokemon exist in this universe. It would be funny tho to have chandelure exist in a world where souls are like whole ass people who can die for a second time. worlds nicest guy's pet lamp eats people until theyre perma-dead for breakfast.

Elesa (and probably also drayden and iris depening on your headcanons) are very sad :( i like emmet/elesa so it makes it extra hard on elesa tho. there is no solution for this.

not sure what the arceus situation is here. hazbin as far as i know doesnt have a canon god design so for all we know god could be a dumbass llama i guess. its doesnt really matter besides stylizing volo's ritual

An interesting question, because with Narrative choices, its not so much one episode its the impact it has throughout the series.

But because I dont want to solely be Negative. I will also pick 3 POSITIVE narrative peaks as well. (I am only talking about what has aired so far. there could be choices later on I dont like or enjoy more than before. But we will see)

3rd worst

Su Han and the Order of Guardians

Honestly the whole thing with Feast. which i thought would make this list, but nope. Because of Su han, I think Feast did the world a f***ing favor

Su Han is still my least favorite character. He is a stick in the mud that comes to yell and does nothing. The fact that he shows up in season 4 and doesnt even help Marinette with Guardian stuff is bulls***. He should be helping by teaching Mirakungfu, or anything!

Really, he only exists to show that Fu really made the best out of a s*** situation. When the order was beaten by a 4 FOOT TALL BLUE DOG, Having met Su Han, I understand why now.

3rd Best

So this one is something many people are on the fence about. If you like this choice, you like or tolerate Alya. If you dont, you hate alya.

I for one Love Alya and Marinette who was sinking in her new responsibility gains a confidant that wants to help and do whats best for her. (she is like 80/20 on that but still, its the thought that counts)

Alya does help flesh out somethings and helps Marinette grow as a guardian and is probably the reason Chat noir didnt f***ing ditch earlier than kuro neko.

Alya even showed to be a somewhat competent ladybug replacement. But thats out the window with the recent episodes. I still think this is one of the best choices made in season 4

2nd Worst

Sentimonsters are Sentient

The show is weird with Sentimonsters. Now I dont know if Sentiadrien is 100% confirmed. But its gross how some sentimonsters are given more respect than others. It is like "Oh only the Human looking ones are sentient" Sentinino, Sentialec, Sentigabriel, sentibubbler all got controlled like puppets with no agency and no one gave a f***.

They should just be emotion's given form and nothing more. Because basically the peacock miraculous creates slaves. And its kind of f***ed up. Id put this at number one, but its still sort of being explored and if the show finds a way to give the sentimonsters full control or a means of not getting erased on a whim, I can over look it. But yea, its pretty bad.

I have wanted this since SEASON 2!

The problem with season 3 and 4 was the fact that Ladybug and Chat noir had access to so many powers, heroes and abilities that basically Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth were not even a threat anymore. That they could have taken him down at anytime if they were more active. Like no cap, why didnt Marinette give herself the snake AND horse when she went for Shadowmoth in Sentibubbler. Or the horse and Bee? Stun his butt and WIN.

With Gabriel having the miraculous, the tables and stakes are now high again. Ladybug and Chat noir are up against the wall. Thats where the tension needs to be if you want things to develop.

The Worst

Miracle Queen (The last 10 minutes)

So this may seem like cheating but this episode really did a LOT and had a massive impact on the show. Lets have a check list.

It had Fu wipe his memories (something that apparently he could do but was never mentioned)

Chloé's growth and development is completely tossed out that she ends up exactly how she was in season 1 (and eventually worse)

The love rivals start dating the heroes because Marinette read Fu's letter which just told her "Life sucks and you gotta settle"

So basically it pulled a Deus ex machina out of its butt, destroyed the potential of a redemption arc and then make no means of seeing a struggle just poof, like it didnt even happen. And then the love rivals that had hardly any screen time (maybe like 2 episodes total with the heroes) are just dating.

The last one may have gotten axed but the first two are ever present and its horse crap.

The Best

Chat Blanc

So this is gonna need some explaining. While I am not crazy about the time travel, and I am not crazy about all the things in the episode, or even how some of the trauma is handled. Chat Blanc is an excellent choice to show the viewer how things can go wrong.

Its not the scenario where Hawkmoth wins, its not the heroes winning. Its EVERYONE LOSES.

This episode took Season 3 to the darkest its been. I would have loved if it was several episodes. I would have loved if this was explored more. But the fact that the group took a concept fans have thought about and brought it to such an NTH degree

I 100% can say with certainty before this episode no one wrote Chat blanc in fanfiction as an end of world threat. Maybe a dangerous beast or feral cat. But NOT A COSMIC LEVEL THREAT.

This episode demonstrated how dangerous the powers of the miraculous are. It gave the viewer a reason on why Marinette and Adrien dont share their identities right away. Its because of the worst case scenario.

(I would have put origins, cause umbrella scene but thats not so much a narrative choice as it is the start of everything, but know its basically pseudo number one)

So ive been thinking abt She-ra lately (spop specifically) and ohmy god it fucking sucks. like i get so mad anytime i remember it, like and if anyone asks me abt it im gonna warn them do NOT watch this show FOR UR OWN GOOD. unless u dont mind an entire season of fanservice AND BY FANSERVICE I DONT MEAN NUDITY OR THE ANIME KIND, ILL GIVE YALL THAT, i mean specifically how they made catradora canon w virtually no other buildup than they were raised together and ooh they hate each other ouuh ;)) enemies to lovers oouogh🫦 like if ur gonna make a ship like theirs work its gotta have some sort of proper progression w their relationship right? But no, the ENTIRE time up until MIDWAY INTO THE LAST SEASON theyre constantly at each others throats like. its not even fun at that point, it just looks weirdly abusive and toxic. And hey, while were still here, catradora in execution is Such a bad ship bc like. They were raised together. by the Same Person. not even just under the Horde, theyre literally both raised by Shadow weaver. and before their rivalry and in several flashbacks their relationship moreso implicates sisterhood than anything. like idk i dont wanna get too bold here, but it just feels a little too close to !nc3st to just put them together like that?

Omg and lets talk about Fucking SHADOW WEAVER omg. like throughout the whole show were shown and told abt how much of an abusive parental figure she was to adora and especially catra right? But then at THE LITERAL VERY END, Shadow Weaver SELFLESSLY sacrifices herself to help catra and adora save the world. SHadow Weaver, whose entire essence was her desire for Power, who betrayed her own people to obtain it. Who's only semblance of a redemption was her working with the Princesses, just because she would be in a better position of power. no remorse whatsoever for how she treated the two as kids. Nevermind her fake-out to catra that one time, in fact that scene highlights just how easily she'll manipulate those close to her to get what she wants. and u expect me to just "oh wow shadow weaver is so noble for that! This is so sad! poor catra and adora, they lost their now-good mommy!" (again, *their* mommy, eugh). Like im having a hard time believing they were able to mourn her loss like that at all. We've seen them both have very complicated feelings about Shadow weaver. Ok well to be fair we didnt actually GET to see them mourn. which IS ALSO SOMETHING I HAVE ISSUE WITH

the SPEED AT WHICH THE 5TH SEASON RAN omg i HATED IT I HATE IT SO FUCKING MUCH. SO MUCH HAPPENING IN LIKE !) EPS OMG, and on top of that WE DONT EVEN GET A PROPER CONCLUSION???? U EXPECT ME TO BE SATISFIED W THEM ENDING THE LAST EPISODE 5 MINS AFTER SAVING THE WORLD????? And ohmygod DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HOW THEY SAVED THE WORLD AUGHJLFDRCRJ IT WAS SO BAD Like girl i need SOME kind of CONCLUSION, not just "yay the horde is gone! sunshine and rainbows! bye bye!" GIRL WHAT THE FUCK??! WHAT HAPPENS AFTER??? I WANNA SEE THEM REBUILD ???? I WANT A FLASH FORWARD (AND NO ADORA'S 5 SECOND VISION WHILE SEEKING THE HEART DOESNT COUNT), I WANNA SEE EVERYONE ADJUSTING TO THEIR NEW LIVES. I WANT SOME SWEET SWEET BANTER. I DONT WANT TO READ A FANFIC DEPICTING ALL THAT BC THE CREW GOT LAZY. I WANT A NICE BASE FOR ALL THAT. U GET WHAT I MEAN??!?!?

I think i should mention that i am in no way shape or form homophobic or anything, i am literally the president of the fruitcake club, ok? but the catradora kiss was probably the worst canonization of a relationship in an animated series ever, period. Like really? while Adora's half dead?? and otherwise the whole world ends if u dont?? And with only 5 minutes of runtime left ?????? I am being edged. I am being edged in the worst possible way. I hate it so much. "Dont leave me adora! I LOVE you! I ALWAYS have!!" HUHHH???? U EXPECT ME TO BELIEVE THAT????? "i love u too🥰" HUHHHHH???? GIRL WHEN DID THIS DEVELOPMENT HAPPEN??? U hung out for literally 3 DAYS and u expect me to believe u guys went from enemies to working out their issues to googoo eyes???? when there was HARDLY ANY OF THAT THERE TO BEGIN WITH???? also just the overall trope of "oh no the world is ending, if i kiss this guy it'll be saved" is sososo bad, idc if its a straight or gay couple, it is probably the most annoying trope ever. like gyattdayum i didnt know i was watching an old Disney movie. i thought this was an epic scifi my bad. Yall need a moment? Do u wanna fuck too? Maximize ur "power of love" slay so the world is extra saved? jesus christ. its the "true loves kiss" trope all over again. Like thats such a rude way to treat a ship too. I want to see it in action, i want to see real progression, ESPECIALLY bc its the main ship, not "ooh they might be gay!!11! ooh they might kiss :) oouhh" and then last second theyre like "btw theyre in love now ;)"

Like id *maybe* get it if there were time constraints like with TOH, id get it if they were like "the idea and concept were there, mr CEO wanted us to shut down the party." but from my research, they didnt really have any constraints like that. And im saying *maybe* bc like with TOH for instance, even though they were forced to cut the show in half, they still delivered everything to progress and end the show properly! They had an *afterword*! they had Lumity and Huntlow and Raeda!! And oh my god the progression of Lumity is so sweet and beautiful! we get to see their "enemy" phase, we get to see them fall for each other, we get to see them date, we get their First Kiss!! We get to see how much they care for each other!! And sure, on the flipside we dont really get to see Huntlow. But thats bc the show got cut before it could *really* take off. There was supposed to be a whole season of Willow and Hunter's hijinks while the gang was in Connecticut. There was supposed to be a whole season of the gang adjusting to Connecticut! We were supposed to see the Archivists involvement and the ultimate showdown in the 4th season!! But they had to be economical bc of the cut, right? So they made a montage of Connecticut, they made three separate, HOUR LONG episodes depicting what couldve happened in the 3rd and 4th seasons. we get to see Willow reciprocate Hunters feelings in the 2nd ep! And most importantly, we get a real conclusion!! we get to see everyone rebuild, we get to see how theyve adjusted, how their lives and relationships have changed. We get a satisfying moment for it all to sink in. we get to properly say our farewells to the characters. All loose ends are properly tied! The Owl House may not be in my top list of cartoons, but u have to admit, it has a very good and satisfying conclusion. And all that with such intense time constraints too.

Now dont get me wrong, She-ra and its characters is written incredibly well (mostly) and its LGBT/POC rep is a game-changer. Heck, i loved Scorfuma, and that was only crumbs of a side ship. And the character designs/animation/colors are absolutely gorgeous, like that is honestly what probably pulled me to watch this show. Im just disappointed in what couldve been, yk? It had so much potential. especially in its last season, it just feels like the writers had too much setup and didnt know how to resolve it. 2/10 would not recommend.

there is something really weird in mk12 about the disconnect between kuai liang and his role as scorpion

He is called feisty. Raiden goes to him so he can help him "stoke the fire" of rage. Such traits you expect from good old scorpion, as he should be and IS the angry revenge-driven fire wraith/ninja/whatever

But if you ignore all that's said and actually look at kuai liang... he is not angry or rageful, and couldnt be any less feisty, the only thing feisty about him is his ability to control flames. He is not revenge-driven, even after being scarred physically and emotionally by bi-han, he doesnt kill him, he knocks him out and carries him away so he cant help out the deadly alliance, all in a logical manner (but also its so unemotional on his part Im willing to bet it's not even smth the writers planned to write him as, it just happened bc they didnt know how to write him in a compelling way). He is rational and patient, you could even call him passive and reactionary. That's not scorpion-like, whose impulsiveness has been an established part of his character for quite a while now, that's more like sub zero. Because for the better part of 30 years, kuai liang has been sub zero

edit: after careful re-watch, my former point no really longer stand, he did very much try to kill bi-han after the reveal he let their father die. But even then, if I may... that vengeance streak doesnt really last long now does it?

I know bi-han being back as the main carrier of the sub zero mantle has rekindled some debates over who the best sub zero is between the two brothers but that just goes to show: BOTH are sub zero.

So having a sub zero being casted in the role scorpion, as both characters are POLAR (eh) OPPOSITES of each other, you end up with a weird hybrid in the middle who is neither one nor the other. In the previous timelines, scorpion starts things, kuai liang reacts as either tundra or sub zero.

Kuai liang took pride in being lin kuei, he's been called the redeemer by previous games and that's really what he is! He fights FOR the lin kuei and steers it into the right direction. Here in mk12 he just... leaves the clan. As soon as it goes toward evil. He wants to restore its honor but he leaves it to be corrupted in the first place. He doesnt fight for it to stay good. It almost reads as if he has no pride for it if he's ready to let its name be tarnished so easily after YEARS of tradition and services toward the forces of good. Did he had no ideals for the clan growing up? Did his father always hyped up bi-han as the next grandmaster? Then why didnt kuai liang also had absolute loyalty for his brother no matter what his decisions are?

No he goes to make a new clan, and why? Well that's only because scorpion is not associated with the lin kuei, but the shirai ryu. In fact, everything that happens to kuai liang doesnt happen because of who kuai liang is, it happens because IT HAS to happen because he's scorpion.

As much as the writers (through liu kang) tells us that "in this new timeline, everyone can choose their destiny" in the opening, kuai liang's character is shackled by being scorpion. If he didnt had to follow the Scorpion Staples(tm) of being a shirai ryu grandmaster married to harumi, he wouldnt abandon his clan and get with harumi (a character he never had history with once, and no, his ending telling us that they were "childhood friends" doesnt count. It feels extremely forced and comes from nowhere) to form a new clan when he could just fight his brother for the legacy and pride of the clan in the first place.

BESIDES. If harumi already had a clan she was the grandmaster of, why did kuai liang renamed it to something else instead? What was that clan's name that kuai, an outsider, decided to overwrite? It makes it look like he married her for influence and the power to go toe-to-toe against bi-han and his lin kuei. But hey. Its okay because he named it after harumi's new last name that cannot possibly work in the canon where she's with hanzo because there, the shirai ryu has been around for hundred of years before her.

Listen, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for Kuai!Scorpion, hell I even called out the lin kuei/shirai ryu rift happening at one point bc it was SO OBVIOUSLY happening. But now that it's out and I see how they handled it. Man I really really REALLY dont like how easily you can see the seams of this narrative, and how clearly it makes everything related to it worse.

Okay so Casey Marie's muscles are something I'm never going to get over. SHE LOOKS GOOD!!!!! Her getup is feeling a little too reminiscent of a cape-wielding superhero for my tastes to be honest - I really loved the more practical outfits she wore in TLR Lost Years, especially in issue 4 when she was running the training mission for the kids. But ah well, I'm sure this will grow on me. It may not be practical (edna's law of no capes is coming to mind, also PLEASE TIE YOUR HAIR UP WHEN YOU'RE FIGHTING GIRL!!!) but it's very cunty anyway which I appreciate

FINAL THOUGHTS:

dude that first issue was wordy but the kids were ON POINT. they were so fun!! their dialogue is fun and they kick ass.

i loved yi announcing the punishment for casey while the others were like NOO SHE DIDNT MEAN THAT DONT LISTEN TO HER. we're getting more of their personalities and it's great!! it was a nice throwback to issue 2 of lost years when they were cleaning - yi refused to help because of how strictly she was following instructions. im picking up that she might be neurodivergent but i did get that from the lost years too - only doing things within strict instructions, getting frustrated at teaching odyn chess, not because of him playing horseys with the knights but that it was Against The Rules Of Chess - and now not picking up on some social cues. It's nice to see!! I love her very much, but it feels like besides rehashing the origin story she took a bit of a backseat to the other three.

i want to know more about why uno said being a rebel was moja's 'thing', since she didn't seem to be any more rebellious than the other three in this issue. we didn't get any unique interactions between her and casey marie which is what i felt was lacking from lost years but i wonder if this is hinting towards a more turbulent mother-daughter dynamic with them... I REALLY HOPE SO!! her and uno butting heads in a leo-raph way is very fun - i don't mind one or two prior group dynamics leaking into the new turtle siblings because they're all so different from the original 4.

uno seems to be taking on slightly more of a leader role than moja so i think he won the title of fearless leader. which is fine, i think it'll be fun to see and he's definitely less of an asshole now than when he was growing up in lost years. still picking on odyn a bit but seems to snipe at moja just as much. even when he was commenting on yi's storytelling he didn't make fun of her, though - i think she may have inherited the 2k3 don ability of being Completely Unbullyable.

i was really pleased that odyn felt more involved!! i feel like he took the backseat a few times in lost years - it was fun seeing more of his personality shine through! he and yi seem to get on the best, and i giggled at them rolling their eyes at moja and uno's raph-leo schtick. i didn't expect him to TURN TO FUCKING STONE THOUGH, so i'm nervous about that. WHAT DOES IT MEAN? WHO DID THIS TO MY BOY? IS HE GOING TO TURN BACK NEXT CHAPTER OR IS HE OUT OF COMMISSION UNTIL THE END OF THE RUN??? (if it's the latter i'll be a bit annoyed - don't take odyn away from the equation please!!)

I do wonder if by introducing casually that they can PSYCHICALLY CONNECT, the turtles will use that as a technique to reach odyn's mind to make sure he's still in there and piece together what's happened to him. i mean, their casual telepathy has gotta be some sort of chekhov's gun right?

and shit.... april was so fucking mad casey took the babies out so she's going to EXPLODE when she finds out what happened to her baby boy, her beloved favourite, her baby odyn :''(( im giggling rubbing my hands together waiting for the fallout but also if she cries i might cry too. speaking of april, she seems to be working on a new project and i saw nano particles mentioned - are we going to have a roninverse version of nano in this run???? I NEED MY ROBOT SON

as always, casey marie... u have aged like fine wine. u are stunning. disappointed that ur still believing that jiro can do good as a cop when their entire police force and government is corrupt as fuck. just feels very naive of her. i'm excited to see her break down at the concept of losing odyn - in fact i need everyone to mourn this beautiful kid. they tell us so much that shes a super clingy helicopter mom and i am picking up on the strict part, but it would be nice to see more of her just... hugging her kids. holding them. i get why she didnt in this issue but id love more mama casey squishing their cheeks and kissing their foreheads.

i have zero fucking clue what's going on with odyn. im wondering if it's somehow related to nano, or to whatever project April is working on - she says it's to do with clearing the tunnels, but I''m not convinced. who knows, there might be some ulterior motive happening.

Trust Issues

Austin Butler x reader

A/N: Loosley based of the Weekends song "Trust Issues"

Summary: Austin & Y/N have been best friends since birth, & after the breakup of her on and off again ex boyfriend, Austin wants to show her how much shes worth, but doesnt get the chance.

I simply couldnt take it anymore, it had been the 3rd time in 4 months that he called "quits", because he didnt see us working out anymore. You would think that after the 2nd time I would become wise, but I was too in love to notice. I didnt want to believe that the only guy I loved was too much of a jerk to notice.

I should of listened to Austin, more then I gave on. The simple yes and no's wasnt cutting it at this point. Even though he's my best friend I didnt want to believe him, because when your in love eveything seems blind. But deep down I knew that the only problem there was, was me. I needed to get over the guy that broke my heart too many times to count.

In one way I would assume thats how I ended up at Austin's penthouse. With all the breakups and heartaches Austin always seemed to fix it all, even with his own troubles hes always seemed to fix mine. So heartbroken and teary eyed I waited until the elevator opened to reveal Austin's apartment.

Standing in the archway door almost waiting for the elevator door to open, Austin stood holding two arms full of different flavor ice creams and blankets. For a moment I was stuck in the elevator waiting for my own two feet to move, but for a moment there was nothing. The closing door reminded me of my own presences and from there I emerged into Austin's home.

Dressed in grey sweatpants and favorite black sweatshirt, Austin placed the items in his hands onto the table besides him and stared at me from the hallway door. I was ready to let all my worries go and leave my troubles at home, but I knew that there was an underlying promblem. "Dont say it Austin."

Huffing Austin comes closer taking my jacket off moving it to the kitchen chair. Fixing the jacket over the chair almost caressing it (a nervous habit of his) Austin starts to reply. "Oh you mean how he left you for god knows how many times this month, I just don't get it Y/N."

"What happend to the sympathy over the phone Austin?" Raising my voice the slightest I remarked in a sarcatisic tone. In one way I couldn't disagree with him, I did get back together with a guy who broke my heart way too many time, but a little sympathy would be nice. I knew Austin was my best friend but I wanted comfort now more then conflict. Besides he was the one who told me to come over to his apartment, I wouldn't of came if I knew there was going to be arguments.

Letting go of the chair, Austin begins to pace in his tracks until he looks at me in an almost parental tone, "You don't see it do you?" Austin and his analogies, for a moment I wish he would just be upfront instead of trying to make me think of what I was doing wrong.

"He's using you Y/N." Rolling my eyes I knew he pulled it too far. Moving my way into the living room (not wanting to get too angry over the subject), I began to fix the curtains tangled up at the end of the rod. "No he's not Austin, he just has no one else."

Throwing his fingers through his hair, Austin throws his head back following me into the living room. Taking some of the cloth out of my hands, Austin begins to take over the tangled mess of curtains dropping them on the floor, embracing my hands instead. "Listen to me Y/N your too good to him, get out of his trap before he pulls you too far in."

Dropping his hands, my heart started to hurt ever more. I didnt want to push Austin away because of my manipulative ex boyfriend, but I didnt know what to do. The main reason I got back together with my ex was because Austin was dating a "new" girl. In all honesty something inside me loved my ex, but the feelings I held for Austin are stronger. But watching the guy you love be a relationship with someone else , hurts more then a shitty boyfriend who lies most of the time.

Looking at the hands that I dropped (the true ones I loved) I began to walk to the couch. The couch provided so much comfort from hurt and reminded me of the good times Austin and I spent during the winter days.

Hearing a sigh come from the window view, Austin begins to make his way over to the side of the couch, sitting next to my spot. "Its just that-" Watching his face fall before he can say the words, Austin gathers my hands in his and stares at them for a moment before saying a word. "Nervermind Y/N im sorry it's my fault I'll drop it. You know I'm your best friend, and I can't keep seeing you getting hurt like this. I'm sorry I got worked up, but I cant keep on seeing you break yourself over some scumb who doesnt deserve your time."

Rubbing my sock clad feet against the rug out a nervous habit too afraid to make any other moves. I tried to avoid Austin's blue eyes, and the way he was staring at me. "I know he treats me like crap Austin, but I'm scared."

Austin's face distorts and immediately gets tense thinking the worse out of the situation. Unlike the harsh parental tone that had previously arised, this time his voice was soft and calming. "Why are you scared? If its because of him I'll have no problem putting him in his place."

Laughing I leaned closer laying my head on his shoulder, finally thinking I was getting my feeling out I maintained eye connect. "No Austin, it's just that... I dont know how I feel? If I leave him what happend if I'll never find love again, what happens if no one ever loves me like that again?"

Watching his face become somewhat angry again he began to sigh. "I know how it feels to be scared like that, but let me tell you something. I'm sorry if you think that's what love feels like because you are so much more then that. That guy is nothing but a cheater, and should be paying for what he's done. And as far as not loving again, I think your far from it."

"Any guy would be lucky to have you and I know your not able to see it, but your so worth it. Your smile practically lights up any room your in, and your empathy is worth more then any dollar bill he might of spend on the side." Seeing Austin face change, he moves his posture to more in front of me then to the side. "I shouldnt even be telling you this right now- but" before the words could get out Austin's phone starts to ring.

While both eyes move to the phone vibrating on the table, Austin goes to turn the phone to mute. "Its okay Aus, awnser it."

Shaking his head in a no way, Austin begins to pick the phone to end the call, but awnsers it before he knows. Realizing that it was his girlfriend Austin gets up off the couch and begins to move his way into the kitchen.

Being the noisy person I am, I began to move to the end of the couch for a better ear. "Kaia I told you I'm sorry I can't do it." Hearing him pause, Austin peaks his head into the living room knowing he had company. Leaning my body against the couch as if I wasnt listening he continues.

"I'm busy right now I'll call you back." Ending the phone call rather quick on someone who seems to be your "girlfriend" seemed to be harsh. According to the tabloids, its was the lastes gossip, but who could believe it.

In all honesty I didnt even know if the two were truly dating. This had been the first time in a month Austin and I had seen each other in person. Between isolating myself at home because of my "ex", and work we haven't seen each another in a while. Although we talked on the phone either through text or phone call Austins "girlfriend" never really came up.

Walking out of the kitchen Austin apologizes for the sudden call. Deciding if I should even bring up the new girlfriend talk I decide on shutting it down. I didn't need to have my heart broken more by the supposed girlfriend talk.

Moving to my original spot on the couch, Austin sits next to me dropping his phone far away from him on the table. Looking around the room, I turned my attention back to him. Acting as I forgot the words Austin had said before, since I was curious to what he had to say. "So what'd you say again?"

Now turning his attention my way Austin begins to deny his words. "Oh nothing, it was nothing." Not believing a word he was saying I start to laugh, "Oh no you said something, you gotta finish it now."

Moving his eye sight to the Christmas tree begind me Austin continue. "Well I uh, wanted to ask your opinion on the tree, I didnt want to go with an artificial this year, so I got a real one."

Turning my head to the Christmas tree behind me I smiled. Knowing that's definitely not what he wanted to talk about I rolled my eyes. "Well it turned out pretty, you know real ones are always better smelling wise and all." Both humming in agreement the room was filled with silence. "You know it is way after Christmas right, its January now."

"Yes, Y/N I know. Dont blame me I want my decorations up as long as possible." Watching the gold lights twinkle off the window reflection I watched as Austin leaned deeper into the couch. "Okay Santie Clause."

Pushing my shoulder so that I would fall onto the other side of the couch, I realized that the atmosphere was brighter then before. The talks of horrible ex boyfriends were in the midst, and suddenly it had became all about Austin and I, but hey I was complaining.

Peering over my body to see if I was okay, Austin grabs my hand pulling me up off the couch. Pulling me into his shoulder (a lot closer then usally), I started to enjoy the ambience of Austin's late Christmas decorations.

Grabbing the tv remote from the table, Austin flips through movies stopping on a random one. Re6alaizng that I wasnt paying attention, Austin takes tickles my side for a moment getting my attention. Seeing that "The Grinch" was the movie he chose, I couldnt help but laugh. Austin was still stuck in Christmas mode.

"Fine", Nodding my head for confirmation, Austin presses the start button and the music starts to play.

"See I knew I loved you for something, sometimes you make good decisions." Pushing his body off of mine, for the lowkey backhanded comment. I got off the couch grabbing the blankets from the edge of the sofa.

Sitting back down next to Austin, he begins to wrap an arm around the back of the couch opening the blanket I brought, so that it was big enough to share. Just when he was about to lean his head on top of mine, once again his phone began to ring. Burrying his head in the crock of my neck (making me want to squeal inside), Austin groans not wanting to get up.

"I dont want tooo get ittt." Vocalizing his words like a child, I peered over to the edge of the table seeing Austin's managers name pop up. Debating on if I should tell him or not, I started to rub Austins hair. "Its your manager."

Groaning even more then before, Austin gets up fully stretching over to the table grabbing his phone. Awnsering the contact, Austin leans back on the side of the couch bumping his feet on mine.

"Hello?" With a groany voice, all I could hear over the phone was yelling. Austin's manager was seemingly yelling at him for something and the only words I could get out of it was Kaia.

Hearing Austin sighs, he begins to press play on the movie, and once again he begins to get up only this time moving behind the couch. Making a talking motions, Austin motions that he'll be a moment and to watch the movie.

Pretending as if the Grinch was my favorite movie of all time, I started to eavesdrop one again on his conversation. "I've told you Austin, you need to get rid of that girl shes no good for your image. Just leave her for a few months, replace her with Kaia. The paparazzi see her way to often we need to cleanse your image with Kaia."

Coughing as if he thought I couldnt hear his conversation, Austin walks into the kitchen talking back to his manager in a harsher tone. At this point it all made sense, I was the girl that was "breaking" Austin's image, that's why he never brought up Kaia with me. I was the girl who was ruining my best friend image.

Hearing Austin almost yell from the kitchen I felt frightened thinking if I could I be the girl he was talking about. "Ive told you before and I'll tell you agian I love her, I've always been in love with her! It's not going to change! ! Shes in my life, not yours. You can't control who I'm with or not. I have no interest being with Kaia, if it's going to ruin my own personal relationships!"

The bright Christmas ambience that filled the room previously now was getting darker. Hearing that Austin was hanging up the phone, I felt confused. Was I really the girl he was talking about? I couldnt be?

Marching his way back into the living room, Austin shuts his phone off leaving it on the kitchen table. Feeling his prescene come behind the couch, I began to sit up. I didn't think I could take it anymore. The fact that I possibly was the girl Austin was talking about was too much, and the underlying crush I had for him only amplified leaving me to feel overwhelmed.

"Hey, sorry about that again. I really gotta shut my phone off." Hearing Austin let out a nervous laugh, I stood up folding the blanket back on the couch.

With eyes filled with confusions Austin tilts his head. "Where you going."

"You know what I'm gonna go home." Grabbing my jacket from off the dinning room chair, Austin eyes begin to amplify. "You ok? What happend I thought we were fine?"

"Were" pointing between the two of us "fine, better then okay. I just feel sick all of sudden." Watching as Austin followed my movement, he suddenly stops me before I could walk to the elevator door. Seeing as his face came to a realization he blocked me from pressing the button.

"Listen Y/N, if it's about what you heard then-" stopping for a moment Austin looks at me before muttering f it. "Its true okay, I've been in love you all this time. I didn't want to scare you off and know I'm doing it. Please Y/N, can we just talk, I'll explain everything."

Feeling as if the room was 10 times heavier then before I tried to squeeze myself through Austins arm trying to tap the elevator button. "I dont know Austin, can we do this another time. I just dont know."

Realizing that I pushed the button, Austin stands away from me. Watching as each number started to get brighter coming closer to his floor, Austin placed a hand on my arm. "Come on Y/N, dont do this to me. Dont shut me out. I'm not like eveyone else Y/N I'm your best friend. I have you forever, and always dont do this to me."

Seeing the tears gather in his eyes, the elevator door suddenly opens. Watching as Austin's face seems to drop, I looked between my two options. I wanted nothing more then to run into Austin's arms, but the feelings I had deeper in my heart to told me I wasn't good enough. That I should run far away and never tell a soul.

With my heart in two places, I turned my back walking into the elevator. Trying not to make eye contact as I pressed the closed button, Austin whispers my name. "Please Y/N dont do this."

Wanting to stop the elevator to confess my feeling to him at once, the doors close, and my eyesight with filled with nothing more then silver. Austins apartment was no longer to be seen, and as the elevator lights flickeres brighter and brighter reaching every floor. My mind was only reminded of the mistake I made. The mistake of letting my best friend go.

okay so i only made her yesterday so she isnt super fleshed out yet and also doesnt have a name BUT!!

shes a character in this like,, superhero/supervillain world ive been messing around with. she's the older sister of one of the story's main characters by about 8-10 years. she technically doesnt ever even show up in the story because shes entirely irrelevant but I like her so much so <3

in his world like half?? the population have different powers (they function similarly to mha quirks in that theyre genetic and can "combine" w the parents' powers to create new ones within their children, and that there're numerous different Kinds of these powers). she and her little brother both have a power called "Judgement", but it manifests in different ways for them. for her, it manifests as small angelic wings, a bright halo behind her head, and the ability to brighten the halo's light to a near-blinding degree.

her brother (who is also unnamed as of right now,,,) doesnt really Know her. she moved out when she was 15-16 years old, so he was 5-8 (which is also around the time he got kidnapped and saved by a hero). she had a rough relationship with their parents, as they were just really shitty people. they didnt really care about their kids and she couldnt handle it anymore so she moved out. she wouldve taken her brother with her, but she wasnt old enough. by the time she was over 18, her brother had already gone to a foster home and been adopted.

for multiple years she debated internally if she wanted to see him again, eventually settling on the idea that "he has it good now, he's been accepted to a good hero high school and he has loving parents and a stable financial situation. there's no way he wants to see his struggling older sister who left his life ages ago". she thinks she'd be intruding if she went to see him again. however, on her brother's end, he really wants to know her but thinks she abandoned him and doesnt want anything to do with him. he thinks she cant stand him so he doesnt do anything to find her, even though he wants to.

a couple extra things abt her is that she has no ties to any hero or villain factions (which is why she'd never show up in the story). unless you count her brother being a hero student, but as i said they dont have contact. she's just a normal adult living a normal adult life, though she is struggling with rent and food. she works the night shift at some place i havent figured out yet. she honestly probably had a brief fling with cain at some point a couple years prior to the beginning of the story. cain seems like her type.

she's very tired all the time and there's a bundle of bitterness attached to her heart at all times. she's happy for her brother but she desperately wishes she couldve had that life.

Conversation continues with steve asking why robin didnt tell him (she felt kinda guilty cuz exgirlfriend stuff) telling her she has good taste and reassuring her that hes not mad

S:Hey Rob?

R:yeah?

S:You know you can talk to me about anything too right?

R:I know, thanks steve

Steve and Robin hugging

S:Love you Robs

R:…

S:say it back!

R: *sigh* Love you too dingus, now go get ur man!

Part 6:

Steve shows up at Eddies door with his “Nasty” Pizza (so. much. cheese.)

Steve does succeed at being nondistracting for the whole movie! Because hes so bored he falls asleep (ma boi is sleep deprived cuz trauma)

Eddie gently shakes him awake later, offers for steve to stay for the night if he doesnt feel awake enough to drive (really neither want to leave the other)

Steve stays, they end up sharing the bed after listening to some of eddies records for a bit

Part 7:

Robin wakes up from a nightmare and immediately tries to call steves house

Hes not home and she doesnt know who else to call so she calls nancy

Nancy offers to come over and pick her up

At nancys they hang out for a bit until robin is calm and feels like she can sleep, Robin sheepishly asks to stay over night to ward off the nightmares

Nancy is like “Of course! You dont even have to ask☺️”

They fall asleep in nancys bed

Part 8:

Scenes beside each happening at the same time: Steve waking up in Eddies arms and Robin waking up in Nancy’s

Still side by side scenes: Steve and Robin looking surprised and both saying some variation of “i havent been able to sleep that well since everything started” Nancy and Eddie saying “me neither” shy smiles all around

Steve gets to work and he and robin both just look at each other for a second “did you-“ “did you??”

Summary: you catch a cold through some unnecessary circumstances

You had been discussing this scene with Scarlett for days already. While she thought it was not necessary for the movie, you were excited to shoot it.

You have been working on this new action movie with Scarlett for a few weeks already, and it has been great so far. It wasn’t often that you got to work on the same set as your wife. While she was playing the other lead role, she was also one of the executive producers.

„Scarlett it’s gonna be so much fun“, was what you told her. However, the water you were meant to crawl out of was freezing. It didn’t bother you too much as you shot the scene, but you never got the time to dry off afterward since you immediately continued shooting.

The next day, you felt the consequences of that. You woke up with your head pounding, your nose completely stuffed up, and your throat felt like you were swallowing razor blades. As you turned around to bury your head into Scarletts chest, you found her side of the bed empty. Lifting your head confused, you could see her side of the bed made as good as she could and find a little note on her pillow.

Hey Baby,

You looked so peaceful, I didn’t have the heart to wake you.

I’m on set already. I see you later.

You couldn’t help but smile, almost forgetting how miserable you were feeling for a second. Peeling yourself out of bed, you get yourself presentable and make your way to set. In hair and makeup, you realize how bad you were actually looking. You’re so pale that the makeup artist had to put on an extra load of makeup and bronzer just to make you look somewhat healthy. You apologized to her, but she just smiled sadly, giving your shoulder a warming squeeze.

Coughing your way through dressing into your costume, you honestly never hated it more. Your corset like top that used to be only slightly uncomfortable was making it really hard to breathe now.

By the time you finally got to set you were ready to go home already. The fever you were probably running was making you slightly woozy and you just felt miserable. Eventhough you were trying not to show it, Scarlett immediately could tell.

Usually Scarlett rarely broke character however as she saw you she just stopped talking and walked up to you.

“Baby, are you okay?”, she asked, worried. “Scar, what about the scene?”, you asked instead of answering her question before coughing into your elbow harshly. She turned to the director and said “See I told you that scene yesterday was shit!”. You were surprised to see her getting so angry immediately, but she was very protective over you.

Placing a hand on your stomach over your corset, you try to take a deep breath, only partly successful. She saw that you were struggling, so she said “Come on let’s get you to the trailer. You need to rest”, she said, but you wouldn’t just give in. “But what about the schedule? I’m okay”, you say but are immediately wrecked with coughs again. “Oww”, you mumble, grabbing your throat. The cough only making your throat hurt even more. “Yeah, you’re in no state to film. Come on, let's go”, she said and laid a hand on your back, guiding you back to the trailer. You stopped her shortly and turned away from her, sneezing into your elbow.

“Bless you darling”, she said gently and rubbed over your back. Making your way to the trailer, you realize how exhausted you were. Maybe Scarlett was right. You needed to lay down. Once inside, she closed the door and said “Turn around Baby”. You did as you were told, and she opened up your corset, you finally being able to breathe a bit better. Once she helped you get changed, you leaned heavily against her. She kissed your forehead, seeing the caked on makeup on your face. She picked you up and carried to the small bathroom. Sitting you down next to the sink, she grabbed a makeup wipe and gently started to wipe off your makeup.

You were already falling asleep at her gentle touch. Once she cleaned your face with some cleanser, she also applied some moisturizer and carried you to the small bed. You were deeply asleep at that point, and Scarlett couldn’t help but smile at you.

After placing a kiss on your forehead, she whispered “Sleep well, baby. I love you so much”.

dissecting episode 1

(under the microscope. im mostly dissecting jaewon hes so interesting to study as a queer person myself, smiles)

ignoring the very first clip which shows waves and someone grabbing someone else... a bit confusing i dont have many thoughts about this.

ANYWAY ! we first see jaewon sitting on a couch in a office perhaps? with an aquarium (we see this again on the intro of episode 2 and if you see the trailer theres a close up of his face on the same place as well) and a women sits down in front of him and asks him what his worries are. now i cant make much sense of her behaviour cause she suddenly starts laughing? but id think shes some sort of counselor. now this could be for 2 reasons: one. he just left the military after finishing his mandatory time and it might be a thing they do? or two some other reason we dont know most likely. TRAUMA shocking i know.

then we have the restaurant scene. we see jaewon talking with his friends but his face changes when his friends keeps talking about how jaewon has a great life and connections and money and everything he wants and i dont want to state the obvious but... thats clearly not the case which is why we can see jaewon upset with the conversation even though he doesnt say anything about it and even forgives his friend... his relationship with his parents is most likely not the best and we can see that by the messages his mom sends and the way we can just see him in front of his gate but not getting inside.

then. their first real scene. jaewon asks jihyun for a cigarette he goes and grabs TWO which surprises jaewon a little bit and makes him happier probably because thats different not a lot of people would do that. they talk but its very casual like and somehow jaewon mentions a "동생" and gets real quiet, as if something had happened with that person. now, its translated as "younger brother/sister" because thats the only english word that it can translate to EVEN THOUGH (and im saying this as someone with very limited korean language knowledge) its not the most correct one because its just a word that people use to call someone whos younger than them (yes siblings count lol). so is he talking about a younger sibling or someone else? who knows.

when his friends grab him to go home he leaves but he isnt expecting for jihyun to just grab his hand and give him a lighter (it was such an intimate scene as well, very queer coded) and THATS what caught jaewons attention. because at first he was just making conversation, but that small moment changed how the path of their futures (hope im not getting too philosophical), and he even stopped and looked as jihyun left.

fast foward next day, jihyun sees jaewon and goes afterhim but loses him and finds the poster for free bird instead (soulmatism i say). and its at this point i realize i havent spoken much abour jihyun so ill start now. we know hes a small town boy, isnt used to such a big city like seoul and is even confused with all this new stuff hes seeing. thats how jaewon and him are different. to me, jihyuns fear is based on unfamiliarity and the unknown, hes still getting to know all these new things that hes never known before and thats why he later mentions that thats the reason he signed up for the surf club. he doesnt really know how to swim but he wants to try and face this new challenge onwards. jaewons fear is more rooted on past experiences and trauma is my guess. he knows who he is but hes scared or hes scared of the result if he tries something. i think its going to start to get better the more he gets to know jihyun and the more he gets comfortable with him.

the cafeteria. jihyuns eating alone and jaewon is suddenly there and thanking him for the other day (he means it. that second cigarette probably was everything to him at that time) and starts to get a bit bold with him, and asking him why he didnt call and at this point there are so many jihyun reactions where you can just tell how this type of relationship is new to him but also how he wants to explore it and find out where it takes him.

we can see that when he meets jaewon again outside the restaurant and says "if we're going to be friends we need to know each others names" and jaewons truly gets a bit paralysed? confused? about it, he wasnt expecting jihyung to say something like that. tells him his name and leaves.

going a bit back, jaewon is at the same restaurant again. why? because he remembered that it was the restaurant jihyuns worked at and he convinced his friends to go inside with some excuse only to look for jihyun but... he wasnt there. things start to go downhill when his friends mention his ex who he wants to have nothing to do with and just wants to forget and one of them even invites her over! some friend he is... jaewon gets reasonably upset (ill talk about what i think happened with the break up on the ep2 essay bare with me), leaves and jihyun goes after him. in this scene i dont think jaewon is upset with him but it was a mixture of a lot of things, disappointment from not seeing jihyun when he was the reason he went to the restaurant in the first place, anger at his supposed friend inviting his ex who he doesnt like and thats why he says "i didnt see you earlier" with this really empty sort of expression.

and lastly, the very last scene. he sits with jihyun for two reasons: be away from his ex but also because he genuinely wants to continue whatever this relationship with jihyun is. it makes him happy and its different and GOOD something that he doesnt have a lot going around his life...

yea... thats it. my thoughts are all scattered but yea lets talk about it if u want i have so much to say still and i want to hear what everyone else is thinking and i also want to mention how much i love this already it was hook line sinker the first episode it. it just feels so raw and perfect and so queer coded to which is why i want to kind of gatekeep it from people who are just watching bc its u know... a bl (will i be persecuted like the witches used to by saying this... hm)

unfortunately almost all my favorite sapphic shows have been canceled especially the ones on netflix but i do still think theyre worth your time. but it might also kill you bc the story isnt finished. all these shows are also just amazing plots too. like i would love them just as much even if there wasnt wlw relationships.

the wilds. this is an AMAZING SHOW. its on amazon its about a staged plane crash where 8 girls are stuck on an island but they dont know that its all a fucked up social experiment. a lesbian relationship became established before it got canceled after s2.

cable girls. this is on netflix and it actually DIDNT GET CANCELED HALLELUJAH. its an amazing show but it actually doesnt really count as sapphic bc one of the characters in the wlw relationship ends up being trans. but its still a great queer love. this shows spanish and set in late 1920s madrid at a telephone company. its one of my favorite shows ever literally every season is better than the last plz watch it.

everything sucks. this is on netflix and it did get canceled but the lesbian relationship was mostly established before the end of the first season. its set in the 90s and its just a really cute show im mad it got canceled.

paper girls. this is on amazon and ngl this is one of the most painful sapphic show cancelations ive ever suffered through so if you dont wanna watch it just bc of that i dont blame you. its about these four young girls who accidentally time travel from the 80s to current day and meet their future selves. the gay girlies are heavily implied and foreshadowed but they dont get together before the end of the show :(

the last of us!!! not canceled its still going!! this show has an episode that shows a past sapphic relationship with the lesbian main character but the first season doesnt introduce a new relationship yet. the second season will tho. im sure youve heard about this or already watched it but its about a zombie-like pandemic from a deadly fungus and its total post apocalyptic. also AMAZING found family father/daughter trope. dare i say i actually think i like them more than el and hopper.

my favorite lesbian movie of all time is portrait of a lady on fire. its a french period piece and its just beautiful and THERE ARE LIKE ZERO MEN IN THE WHOLE MOVIE. i think the only line a man has is “bonjour” and thats it. MY KINDA MOVIE!!!!! INSTANT 5 STARS!!!!! i love this movie. the initial premise is that a woman needs to be painted but she cant know that shes being painted so the other woman has to just study her while hanging out and then paint her from memory. it ends up being much more than that but gaaahhh if you only watch one of these make it this movie.

another iconic sapphic movie is but im a cheerleader. way different tone much less dramatic and more comedy but still never gets old.

seven husbands of evelyn hugo!!!!!!! im sure youve heard about this. i dont think its overrated at all it really was such a good book and dont let the title fool you its gay as hell. if youre really not a reader tho this is going to be a netflix movie soon.

an amazing duo book series is criers war. i LOVE scifi and fantasy and this is my favorite sapphic scifi story ive ever read/watched. i want this to be a movie or show so bad. its about a world where some people are people and some are what they refer to as “automa” which are essentially cyborgs but they look just like humans. crier is an automa and the daughter of a king and ayla is a poor human and she has a vendetta against crier bc her father was responsible for her familys murder but crier doesnt know this! so then ayla gets the job as her maid for the goal of killing her basically but of course it gets super gay instead. its such an interesting take on the enemies to lovers trope bc its one sided, cryer has no idea ayla considers her her enemy. also neither of them are white i think crier is brown and ayla is black.
