“Jesus christ, kid, shoot em!” Chris says, completely frustrated about the fact his brother matt keeps shooting past the enemies. They had been streaming Fortnite on twitch for hours. Yeah, it was fun, but you were starting to get a little worried. Chris’ frustration level was quite high and he hadn’t taken any breaks in a while. It was getting to him. You were on Chris’ bed, not shown on the screen. Sometimes Chris turns around to check up on you and make sure you’re comfortable.

The fans knew about your relationship with Chris. Some were really supportive. They made edits, left nice comments in your comment section and just loved you. Some others, who weren’t supportive, really got to you. They would send you all kinds of dms who weren’t exactly positive, but you got over it.

Now, chris is still streaming and you decide to say something about it. “Chris” you say, trying to get him to look at you. He turns almost immediately as he hears your voice. “Yeah? what’s up, ma?” He asks, staring into your eyes. A small smile forms on your face before you start talking. “It’s getting late, you getting off stream soon?”

Chris nods, realising how long he had been playing. “Yeah— yeah i’ll get off after this game.” He shoots you a quick smile before turning back to the game. After a few minutes he manages to catch the last guy alive, killing him. They both cheer as “victory royale” appears on their screen. Chris then sits back into his chair, yawning. “Hey matt, we should end stream, s’gettin’ late.” Matt nods, disconnecting Chris from the discord call after he did his goodbye’s.

A long sigh leaves chris’ mouth as he lays down on the bed next to you, immediately craving your attention. Your hand slides into his hair, gently playing with his brown locks. He pulls you closer to him by wrapping his arms around you. “Mhh.. ‘m so tired.” Chris says, kissing your shoulder. He had always loved this type of things, just keeping his girlfriend close to him, wrapped in his arms. Yeah, it was the best feeling after such a long day.

“Yeah i get that, baby. Get some sleep.” You chuckle, not finding it weird at all that he was this tired. He had been laughing and having fun all day. He then nuzzles his face in your neck, his eyes falling close. “Mm i love you.”

The Devil is your voice.

You were tapping a rhythm on your desk nervously. You have just received a invite to some wacky server on dark web. It was strange truly, you just wanted someone to tell you how killing with a crowbar worked, but now you were being invited to a community? Maybe people with interests similar to your would be there?

You sighed, one of the only sounds that ever left your mouth and didn't sound weird or muffled because of your disability. Yes, you're mute. You visited more doctors and therapists since your muteness was found out than any adult in your family ever had.

You didn't have many friends, not a lot od people wanted to speak to the weird quiet kid who always sat alone and had some form of special treatment. Solitude does strange things to people, for you it was hyperfixating on murderers and stories about them. You were in love with the gore, a murder didn't need voice to be gruesome and intriguing, that's what you loved the most about it.

You clicked the link. Filled in the password that the random person sent and a copy-paste version of Discord was in front of your eyes now.

Even if they were greeting you because they wanted to be polite, it made you smile a little bit. It's definitely the loneliness that made you so excited because of a few silly greetings.

You clicked on the rules channel, it would be best to follow their rules especially after the wam welcome. You were expecting a long list of rules, but what you saw exceeded all your expectations.

Angelic: And it's not a threat, it's a promise.

Serial killers? No, that has to be a joke. Right?

You spent weeks in the server, and it turns out that these are real serial killers. The Butcher, The Heartsick Angel and some more. You were positively horrified? Yes, they could discover you and kill you, but you could gain more knowledge to your book. The only risk you're facing is losing your life, and it's only if you won't play the game right.

The person who stuck in your mind the most was goreboy, also known as The Butcher, or Ronin. He held his surname as a secret, you weren't too angry about it, you had a secret on your own too, or more than one secret actually.

You decided to hide the fact that you're mute, you were worried that they would treat you like other people did. There was one big problem tho, the killers really wanted you to join voice calls with them and you couldn't just give them half assed excuses, right? To your surprise every time they wanted to call with you, Ronin appeared from nowhere to save you.

You read his messages, it made sense right? But wait... how did he know about the excuses being lies? His style of texting infatuated you too. Why the capital letters in the middle of a sentence?

You remembered Angel saying something about Ronin hiding messages like that. You decided to follow it and read the four capitalized letters.

You didn't even have time to panic, Ronin didn't wait around, he just called. Well it's good to see the person who can be a serious threat to you, how the saying goes; keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

You picked up. A guy with plum coloured hair hidden under a beanie with red horns was looking at you. His eyes black and empty, like two black holes ready to swallow you.

< Hey darling. >

He signed. It was slow, like he tried t be careful about his movements. It felt like he was fairly new at this, the floppiness was there.

Wait.

He did what?!

Well, that was a shocker to say the least. You were looking at Ronin, your eyes widened.

< You sign? >

You signed back, sharp and fast, matching you anxiety, the first shock slowly left You were looking at Ronin's face, he was focusing his attention on your hands, then he just chuckled and shook his head.

"I assume that you asked if I know sign language? Well, I started to learn after I discovered your little issue."

He admitted, a smirk glued to his face. He was amused. You were amusing to him...

You sighed, guess you'll have to type most of your questions.

user: How do you know about this?

He read your message and then looked back at you.

"Wasn't hard. You should be careful about the links your click, Y/N."

So grabbing your IP wasn't just a joke. Does it mean that he knows everything? No, if he did you would be dead, he would know that you are not a serial killer.

user: Why are you keeping my secret?

He didn't answer your question. He just looked into your eyes.

"Why do you?"

And with that he hang up. Great, that's definitely a good sign. A good sign to look for a coffin.

Before you could notice two months had passed since you joined the server, Ronin was now officially shipped with you by half of the server, and he didn't argue with them. He messaged you and called you, he did some progress with his sign language, even invented some unique signs just for the two of you.

"Hey, let's play truth or dare."

He said while the two of you were on call, you raised your eyebrow at him and he just chuckled.

"Don't give me that look, I won't dare you to confess your deepest darkest secrets darling."

You sighed and shook your head in disbelief.

< Fine. Truth or dare? >

Your hand movements were slower than usual. Yeah, Ronin could understand some of the language, but your usual pace was too fast for him to catch up with it. You weren't going to give him the upper hand here, so you asked first.

"Truth."

There were a lot of questions you wanted to ask him, about his work, motives, reasons, but one question in particular was above all of these.

user: Are you and Angel a thing?

That question was boiling in your mind. You needed to know, inspiration or not, you didn't want to write about or romance anyone who is dating, especially when their partner is a dangerous serial killer.

Ronin frowned at the question, looking away with a slight blush.

"Hah, so you noticed... Yes and no. Yeah I used to date Angel, nah we're not a thing. She taught me a lot, gave me love... closure too."

He looked back at you and smirked.

"Don't you dare tell her this sappy bullshit or you'll be fish feed."

You nodded. His answer lifted a wight off of your shoulders. Not like you had any chances with Ronin, you doubt that someone like him would like you, someone who can't talk.

"My turn. Truth or dare darling?"

He asked, you signed < dare > in response.

"Go to main, and tell'em you're obsessed with me."

Well that was an unexpected dare, but who were you to not indulge the devil in his schemes?

You played two more rounds before the final one.

"So, 's the last round. I'm going for dare."

You thought for a second, something silly and stupid, no need to stay all serious.

He chuckled once he looked at your proud smile. Ronin really took pride in watching your expressions, how your mouth was forming into a smile or a scowl, your nose wrinkled when you were thinking or annoyed, or your eyes lit up when he was showing the signs the learned.

"Done."

And he hang up.

You checked and holy shit! You really are a mod now.

That was a shocker, but you couldn't expect Ronin to act rationally or be predictable, so it wasn't that weird to receive that role from him.

Ronin was really into playing his little mind games with you. Trying to irritate you to see different emotions on your face, getting you so angry that you will make sounds like groans and loud sighs, it was satisfying him. He knew that pushing you to say words would be too much, he didn't need you to speak anyway. Learning other ways to communicate or read you were a challenge, and the devil never backed away from any challenge.

December. A time for Christmas and what not. You were sitting by your desk, adding finishing touches to one of the reports you had to send back to your boss soon, at least as a news writer you didn't have to worry about talking.

You noticed how some of the killers were less active in their murderous escapades, maybe other than Angel and Ronin, Angel dropped six kills one day and Ronin, well you could feel how his murders were more of an anger outburst? Like he was hiding something in the massacred bodies.

user: Ronin are you free to talk?

You rarely asked him to call, it was mostly Ronin who did that, he called you out of the blue and talked, showing you the new signs he learned and followed your "instructions" when you noticed that one of the sign was floppier than the rest.

He got really good with signing now, you didn't have to type as much as you did before, his learning source must've been really good or expensive, or both, for him to get this well so quickly.

He wasn't replying for a while, but you could swear that he was burning a hole in his computer screen with his stare. Finally the devil graced you with a reply.

goreboy: oh you're Asking for a Call?

goreboy: jus call me already darl

And you did. Ronin's face was in front of you now. He didn't look so himself? That devil-may-care attitude was less noticeable, maybe for a regular person he would look the same, but you learned to notice small details in people's body language and expressions.

< Are you okay? >

Your hands moved smoothly, still slower than normally but you didn't have to be so careful about every sign.

"Jus the season."

He said with a shrug. His eyes showed exhaustion, and just how upset he was.

"Nah, I don't want to talk about that."

It's like he read your mind, you wanted to ask about it, but his answer made you drop it.

"What'dya wanted to talk about?"

He asked, titling his head to the side and looking at the mask in his hand, some fresh blood was on it.

< You just killed someone, haven't you? >

"And what if I did? That fucking pastor deserved to die anyway."

You heard it, there was anger laced under his act. He was angry, but it wasn't the pastor, no. It was something way deeper than that.

You were jealous of Ronin, or rather of anyone who could speak freely. Yeah, you're used to not talking, but expressing yourself through more than how your hands moved or what kind of expression you had was something you desired.

"Thinking how much you yearn to speak, hm darling?"

Ronin asked, his chin resting on his palm as he looked at you, His gaze was knowing, like he could read you like an opened book.

< I just want people to understand me better Ronin. >

Your hands were shaking a little bit, your emotions were guiding you to spill everything out.

< I don't want to hide myself anymore, but what if they won't understand? What if I won't be accepted? >

The rest of your killer friends were on your mind, you hated refusing the voice calls, you hated hiding this secret. Okay you were lying about being a killer, but this was something that you had to do in order to survive.

"Then spill your guts."

Ronin's voice broke through the barrier of your mind and brought you back.

"Jus spill it. If they like you they will understand, and if they don't accept then they're assholes. You're not the only disabled one here."

You could guess who he was talking about. A sigh left your lips. He was right.

This call was short, but it was helpful. You saw a more raw side of Ronin and he helped you make up your mind...

On the New Year's Eve you decided to confess your disability to the server, so maybe now they would understand why you were avoiding the calls so much.

user: Hey guys. I wanted to tell you all something. I can't hide it anymore. The reason why I never agreed to the voice calls is because I am mute. I'm sorry for not saying sooner, I had some unpleasant situations with people after my confession.

You sent the message and in nerves started to look at other chats to see if you didn't miss any messages... Then the first ! showed up next to #main and you had to click it.

After three more encouraging messages you broke down, tears running down your cheeks. It was the first time anyone has shown you this much acceptance and encouragement. Hell, they even apologised for pushing you so much. You wanted to thank them so much, but your vision was too blurry to type.

You calmed down after a while, the first thing you noticed was an unread message from Ronin in your chat with him.

You smiled at the message and replied.

His answered got you to roll your eyes and smile a little. What an annoyingly sweet asshole he was.

Ronin will rile you up, he wants to see your expressions and body language change. Maybe he can't hear you but he will for sure watch and read you.

If you use a notebook to communicate he will take your pens away and nudge your head with it, a proud grin stuck to his face.

If someone acts like an asshole to you because of your disability he sure is ready to send their heads flying. "They can't speak, but I fucking will."

He learned sign language since the moment he found out that you're mute, but he is still not perfect with it, to make his life easier you agreed to make some signs just for the two of you.

Since you can't use words, you use different way of showing Ronin your care and love, his favourite is touch - him being touch starved.

He would never push you into learning saying any words, be it his name or anything else, he knows that it's a struggle and he won't put you through that.

Announcing the MCSR Mini Gift Exchange February 2025!!!!!!

This event is identical to the Mini Gift Exchange run back in August! It will take place from January 17th (when signups open) to 18th February (end of posting period). Event brief:

1. Participants will join a Discord server to participate in the event.

2. Participants will complete a signup form, stating their requested prompt in the process. The prompt must be MCSR-related.

3. Participants will go through a claims stage in which claims open at the optimal time (we will ask for time zones in the signup form). Claims will be on a first come first served basis, and you will be asked to list several prompts you'd like to fulfil in case you do not get your first choice. This will be done through another form.

4. Mods will contact participants to tell them their final prompt. Please ensure you have DMs open so we can do so. If all your prompts have been taken, we will have to ask you to choose another (we will be removing taken prompts from the claims spreadsheet so you can see).

5. As soon as all prompts are taken, or as soon as the set start for the creation period begins, participants are free to begin working on their gift. Writers should have minimum 1k words and artists at the very least a coloured piece (doesn't have to be rendered). Please maintain anonymity at this point as we would like the gifts to be a surprise!

6. If at any point, you feel you are unable to keep going with your gift, please contact mods so that we can discuss and get a pinch hitter if needed.

7. Once you have completed your gift, we would like you to complete a form to announce you have completed. Then, once posting period begins, you are free to post. Connect and get to know attendees online before the event! If you’re attending AUNT, you’re likely in the AUNT Discord Server! You can interact with other members throughout the Server, though if you’re registered you can interact with attendees in the private event channels! Check members’ roles and see if they have Open DMs! Navigating a gathering helps when you know people! You can also start pre-planning your AUNT weekend, if you want to play board games, video games, JackBox games, watch movies, go out to do tourist-y things, and/or session/play with someone!

@jerjero and @sugarsoakertkl are newbie coordinators, and are happy to welcome you into the scene!

Write an introduction! It helps people get to know you and what you’re looking for! You can take inspiration from someone else’s introduction, feel free to copy-paste the format they used.

It’s one big hang out in a hotel! NEST is a very scheduled event. The smaller gatherings have a few things scheduled, though other than that the weekend is yours to do what you’d like! I believe AUNT’s “big” scheduled events are the group swim, jam circle, and watching the Super Bowl (not in 2025).

Attend other attendee’s events! With an open schedule, some members host their own events, like going out as a group for dinner, hosting board/video games, hosting movie/tv show watching, or inviting people to party/hang out in their room!

Treat others how you want to be treated. It is a tickle event, though no one wants to be treated like a kink dispenser or their kink role. Treat others like you’re meeting them in a public vanilla setting. Introduce yourself, be nice, be welcoming, be polite, be curious, open-minded, and interested!

Meet and greet everyone you can! Don’t just talk to people you want to play with. Getting known and established in the community can go a long way!

It’s NOT a Pay-to-Play event. Going does not guarantee play. Gatherings are community-oriented ; attendees are real people with boundaries and feelings, they’re attending for community, and to make genuine connections.

Interested in playing with someone? Some people do pick-up play after some conversation! Some people, like myself, like a closer relationship before playing! It doesn’t hurt to ask, and it’s okay if they say no- don’t take it personally (receiving a no is a good skill to practice). Once you’ve asked, don’t ask again; keep the ball in their court, if they’re interested they’ll reach out to you.

Someone is interested in playing with you? Either give them a yes or a no, try not to use “maybe.” It’s best to be as clear and honest as possible.

Vet people before playing with them. Get your references. Ask around. Members going are welcomed to the gathering because they’re friendly or know a regular, but they are not vetted for play. Most members I’m sure are kink educated and care for your wellbeing, but unfortunately I personally know a handful who are not good or safe players. Feminine-presenting afabs especially need to vet.

Tell a host if someone makes you uncomfortable. It is best if you can confront and correct them yourself if you’re involved; some people don’t know they’re harming others, and we’re all capable of making mistakes, and growing from them. If you can’t do it, please tell a host, or a friend you trust to help you. It’s better for a behaviour to be corrected than for it to never be acknowledged, and harm continues. Speaking up protects others.

Don’t be hard on yourself if the gathering didn’t go as you thought. Be proud that you took that huge step to get involved in-person. A lot goes on when you’re new and unfamiliar. Most members are longtime goers, and are in established friend groups and dynamics. You may feel it’s hard to find your place initially. I think everyone, even regular attendees, have had a mediocre gathering at least once. I have! It’s okay if this gathering is just you scoping it out and meeting the in-person scene!

ohhh tomm. tomm tiredmashbros, oh do you even know what has happened this, what, past half a year and counting? There has been so, so much improvement these past few months, whether that was to be art or even being able to grow the confidence to actually make a discord server and how well it is and how active it is to this day!!! It’s genuinely felt like it’s been so long, but truly only has been maybe about. since september so like 4 months maybe of the discord server? and so much has happened since then.

Onto the actual much deeper depths of paragraphs, you genuinely have changed my life in ways that I don’t think I could even achieve. Many days on vc’s, joking about the most random things, to the (about) most unexpected things, late night vc’s, the silly sleepover vc’s (technically late night... but shhhh), your paragraphs here, your just genuinely amazing self and personality. Even if you’re just another person in this world, I think you’re some of the best among everyone that I could’ve had the pleasure of getting to meet and know you.

I always loved the times when we vced and went “hey it’d be funny if we watched this video” then did that or, mainly, plan ahead and all. The pikmin iceberg (even if i fell asleep. whoops.), isaacwhy ltlvc, epic the musical, and so much more probably HSJDNSJ. I’ll always remember the first vc I was in with you, or at least the one that I think is the first since I think we both were muted then eventually unmuted JSIDJSSJ I still don’t remember who was all there... i think it’s really funny that like 1-2 months after that, we vced so much and literally couldn’t remember who was there in the first vc JSAKJSKDJD i think that vc was when we had that silly “IM NOT A TYPER” or something i think... I DONT HAVE THE ORIGINAL IMAGE SAVED RN JAHDJDSJ 💔💔💔 and i sounded in such despair because it was like 1 or 2 am for me and i had to be quiet... I always absolutely LOVE our vc’s together, even if i’m caught, i typically don’t actually feel that bad since it’s just like. augh. i have no idea how to explain it💔💔 but yeah 💥💥💥 —> EDIT HERE... Jay's Path of Exile 2 PC Code Fan-Art Raffle Thingamajig With a Long Name!

Hey there! Ho there!

I have 2 PC codes for Path of Exile 2's Early Access! (Important note: These are not the only prizes this is just sorta why I thought of the contest. Other prizes are Art [from me], Music [from me] and potentially a character to be designed and put into Melodi, the game I'm making.)

I'll be giving away both of them (and other prizes) in a raffle! Here's how to get entries into the raffle:

For 1 Entry: Simply reblog this post (and have your DMs enabled so I can tell you if you win)! For 10 Entries: Draw fan-art of literally any of these characters from my upcoming game, Melodi!

Rules about the fan-art: None! They do not have to be drawn well, all they have to be is recognizable as the character. You can also be as horribly offensive or cringe as you want. I will not disqualify ANYONE. You may even draw porn, you may even self-insert your OCs, you may even break canon, you may even draw gore, you may even draw the elves with nipples, there are NO LIMITS.

For Drawing 1: Deadline is December 17st. I will pick one person from the Reblogs and Art pool at complete random.

For Drawing 2: Deadline is December 24nd. This drawing will only be for people who drew fan-art that I feel is above and beyond the others. There's no way to ease into this, so I'm just gonna say it. The finances for my household are fucked. We can't afford to renew our lease, so I have until the 20th of November to sort out some kind of housing arrangement. I have a fallback, but I consider it a worst-case scenario, and would like to avoid it if possible. So here I am, begging for your help.

I'm an unemployed transgender lesbian living in the bay area, and I need help. I need somewhere to stay by the 20th, and the earlier I can find somewhere, the better. Important Announcement

Hey... I know that this is quite sudden, but after thinking about it a lot: I've decided to quit Tumblr.

I know that it might seem shocking, and trust me- I don't feel pleased doing this too, but I believe that it is the best decision so that I can actually focus on my life and my faith. Over time, I've also noticed how my health was gradually getting worse, and that Tumblr was slowly but surely exacerbating it. It's been a hard choice to make, but I feel that it is necessary for me.

It was a joy to get to know all of you, and I could never be more thankful to have such an amazing group of individuals who have supported me all this time. I couldn't have made it this far if it weren't for you guys.

your fans knew you had a boyfriend, they knew he was also in content creation, they knew you loved him, and they knew he was always texting you during your streams. since he'd always been faceless, voiceless, and nameless, it was a shock for the viewers to see the door open and someone walk in, head cut off by the camera placement.

it was planned, to a degree.. you knew ted would show up on your stream, in your office but you didn't know when, and that's what made it fun. ”oh my god, hey babe!” you spun in your chair and got up to hug him, the height difference clear to all. and now your fans knew he was tall too. before you were able to get back to your seat, ted pulled you back to him. ”excuse me? sweetheart my kiss?” you smiled and got up on your tippy toes, ”right, sorry about that.” hands flat on his chest when you kissed him.

you walked back over to your desk to see how the viewers were taking the small interaction, and from how you were positioned leaning over your desk, ted was able to pad over next to you, still out of view of the camera. when you realised how close he was you pulled a chair away from the all beside yours and you sat down. ”oh chat did i mention my boyfriend was joining today?” you gave the camera a cheeky smile, watching as chat was still trying to put the voice to a face.

ted leaned down into frame before he sat down, smiling at the camera with a wave. the moment he sat down, he started a bit. ”do you have audio listeners?”

”what a shame.” you rolled your eyes at him before pulling yourself towards the desk to move apps across your monitors. ”shit, almost..” your voice trailed off, neither ted nor your stream heard what you said and while it's easy to ignore chat's pleas, it's a little harder when it's your boyfriend. ”what was that angel?” you hum at him, question in the sound. ”can you repeat that? i don't think i heard you.”

this wasn't a bit, but it sure as hell was clipped a ton. ”i said,” you began, voice louder than it was most of the time. ”'shit, i almost leaked our discord dms.', happy?”

once chat had gotten a good look at you and you waved and said hello, schlatt pushed his phone up to the camera before giving it to you. ”hon' that could be us.” it was a picture of two cats; one holding a bong and two vapes while the other held a case of beer. ”j, baby that is us.” now you show the camera the picture of the cats and schlatt takes the opportunity of being hidden to press a quick kiss to your cheek, making you gasp.

”chat did you see that?! did you hear that?!” they all seemed confused as you went off on your tangent, face making the :o while schlatt's mouth twitched up into a smirk, bordering on the grin as you tattled on him to his viewers. ”he kissed me when you guys weren't looking!”

oh boy did twitter have a fun time over analysing the clip of the short kiss sound, trying to figure out if it was true.
