Reasons...

Mayuri: She claimed to be strong enough to be "better off on her own" so I'd assume she had several months of solo survival. But she was quite outnumbered by a squad of slayers when Rui (who easily defeated them all so it's likely they weren't any higher than Tsuchinoe) found her and displayed immense fear. That could imply she wasn't feeding for an extended period of time. Assuming she was chronologically 21 when she got recruited meaning she was with her "family" for at least 6 years. She was described as a "teen demon" in her original form and in her "early teens" spiderized.

Oni-cantu: Not a drop of humanity left in him so that could indicate (though it isn't guaranteed considering some demons like Kaigaku for example lost their humanity in a short period of time) he's been on rampage for awhile. It's possible he was one of the first recruits seeing how used to everything he is and how he acts like he's above his "mother". Face-wise (YUCK THOUGH)... he appears to be Zenitsu and Aoi's ages. He doesn't display as much fear towards Rui as some of the others do (but that's likely not seen on camera. Maybe I'm wrong) and 16-18 is usually when kids act all "I'm doing my own thing!!! I'm technically a brave strong adult now, I'm TOTALLY 'not' afraid of no chancla..." big and bad.

Ameo: Seems Kiyo's age (assuming Naho and Sumi are slightly older at 13 while Kiyo is 12). That's about it.

Tsukiko: I wanted to say she looks around Kanae's age when she passed away (so 17) and I guess it makes sense since she's at that age where she desires self-liberty. As the oldest of my siblings and as an elder sister (I'm also 17), I can connect with her in my own spiritual way.

Aka: She appears older than Kotetsu but if she was any older than 11 then she and Ameo would be made to look like twins (likely identical twins knowing anime).

Mamoru: based of the haircut, face, and height.. he looks the same size as Tanjiro and Inosuke.

Ningyōtsukai: If we're going with the idea that she has a "17-year-old daughter", she's probably at least 35 but with a timeless girlish face. She's likely younger than everyone even chronologically, but she was definitely recruited for a short period of time before Mayuri since Rui definitely needed a "new mother" with slight urgency. Her original form reflects the age she got transformed into a demon and looks around 8-11. I'd say 9 and maybe she was found by Rui 10 years later (the thought of giving a pre-teen a voluptuous build sounds weird... I like to imagine she was chronologically 19).

Kemono: I imagine him to be somewhat like Tyson Fury but slighter older and less intelligent (Rui probably took that away as punishment). It's likely he was one of Rui's earliest recruits knowing how strong he can be and since Rui was eager to find at least one "false parental figure" in his immortal life. I also don't think Ningyōtsukai was Kemono's first "wife" considering Rui would want both sets of "parents" as early as possible. My guess is that the poor woman met a horrible fate... And by that time, Rui already recruited Aka and Tsukiko as his sisters so he eagerly chose the next female demon that crossed his path to be his new "mother".

My Adventures With Superman: Where do we go from here?

- This show takes on the Superman origin story but focuses on his beginning as a young adult superhero, which is different from nearly every other depiction. He seems just out of college, like he’s 20 or 21. This would mean everyone else in the DC universe is younger too.

- People often compare Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent on equal grounds, like they’re supposed to be the same age, so maybe they’re going to be? I don’t know if this show is ever gonna branch out and show other superheroes, other places besides Smallville and Metropolis, but it’s a fun thought exercise.

- So maybe Bruce Wayne is also just starting his Batman journey. He might be in Gotham in a self-made suit, like in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, or he might be training all over the world still. We know Bruce is a genius, so he can learn any subject he wants in a shorter time than normal, so he might’ve skipped college to travel the world right after high school, training with the best fighters and the League of Assassins and studying college-level texts on the side because he’s just extra like that. 18 at the beginning of his training, and there’s varying accounts of how long his training took. Some say 7 years, some say 12 years, and that makes sense.

- If we want reporter Clark Kent interacting with billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne at all, we can’t have them be the same age. So! I propose a future season where we finally get more superheroes interacting with Superman so he can feel less alone in the world. For that, Bruce Wayne would just be returned home after a 7 year absence learning abroad. He’d be about 4 years older than Clark, but he’d be perturbed by their lack of height difference. Bruce wants to start his crusade against the criminal underbelly of his hometown, Gotham City, but to have the perfect cover story he needs to play up the rich fail son front of Bruce Wayne, and he’s not pleased about this perceptive reporter from Metropolis who’s built like a brick shithouse. See, Bruce isn’t dumb, and he keeps up on the news, especially about global security threats. Bruce knows about Superman, and he has his theories, but he develops a new theory once he meets Clark.

- Wonder Woman is immortal but people don’t necessarily know that. Wonder Woman is an urban legend Clark learned about in history class when talking about World War 1, World War 2, all the biggest global conflicts in human history. A goddess who comes out of nowhere, saves the day, and disappears for decades at a time. Diana Prince, however, is a mild mannered museum associate. As an immortal warrior born of clay, she always looks like a woman in her upper 20’s and speaks like a woman who is centuries wise. She keeps to herself mostly, but she keeps close tabs on global security threats, like Bruce does. She knew as soon as Superman came on the scene that she didn’t need to get involved as much anymore. She barely held herself back on Zero Day because the US government was all over that, and it would’ve been too high profile if she’d been involved. It didn’t even last long enough for her to fly over to help.

- In the comics, Bruce Wayne adopts the newly orphaned Dick Grayson when he’s 27. That means if I start Bruce Wayne at 18, give him 7 years of training, making him 25, and make him 3 years older than Clark at the beginning of the story, meaning Clark is 22 when Bruce is 25, then he gets to be Batman for 2 years before running into Dick Grayson, 10 year old, and adopting him. Then, he gives Dick a few months of training before letting him become Robin, so we have 27 year old Bruce, 10 year old Dick, and 24 year old Clark.

- The comics also say Bruce was 34 when he adopts a 12 year old Jason Todd. That means Dick was Robin for 7 years before he and Bruce had a falling out and Dick went solo, becoming Nightwing. Dick and Jason should have a 5 year age difference, if Dick was 17 when Jason was 12. Then, there’s a bit of time fuckery when it comes to Jason because he dies and gets resurrected as Red Hood. Jason dies at 15, and gets resurrected in the Lazarus Pit 3 years after his death, making him effectively 18 when he comes back. Bruce would be 39 at the time of Jason’s death, and 42 at the time of Jason’s resurrection.

- Superman would be 31 when Dick becomes Nightwing and Jason becomes Robin, then 36 when Jason dies, then 39 when Jason comes back as Red Hood. I think that fits rather well.

- Tim Drake came along only a short while after Jason’s death, like a month or so, so Bruce is 39 when a 14 year old Tim Drake becomes the third Robin. Clark would be 36 at this point still. And then Tim becomes Red Robin at age 17, following in the footsteps of his hero Nightwing who also went solo at 17. Tim spends 3 years being Robin, meaning he spends the time Jason is dead being the third Robin.

- Comics place Bruce meeting his son Damian at age 43, meaning it’s a year after Jason comes back and suddenly he’s got a new son he never knew about. Talia left Damian with Bruce when Damian was 10, following the grand Robin-adopting tradition. This means Damian was conceived when Bruce was 33, right before he met and adopted Jason Todd. Superman becomes 40 at the point where Damian is adopted as the new Robin.

- With this timeline, it’s difficult finding spaces for Barbara, Stephanie, Cassandra, Duke, and all the other important Bat Family members, but it’s not impossible.

MODELING INTO THE MOVIES

From the women’s angle, there are simply too many gorgeous newcomers in Hollywood. That fact is plain. 

From the gentlemen’s angle, Hollywood is pleasantly crowded with the most alluring bits of femininity ever to delight the bald-headed row. This fact is even plainer. Oh, say it isn’t so, but there a new day dawning in the west for the Stage Door Johnnies. 

Whence comes this influx of Eves? Who are these girls of such attractive physical make-up? 

Well, sir, most of them are ex-models. 

The highway and by-ways to Moviedom are past counting. Those most traveled have been the extra route, the beauty contest route or the I-have-a-relative route. Yesterday our newcomers were night club crooners, radio personalities and million-dollar heiresses. Today the majority of candidates for stardom are no longer being recruited from these avenues. It now quite obvious that any girl who has been a model approaches the casting office with an asset that permits her to pass up the waiting list. 

Oh, phooey, what’s a model got that the others haven’t? 

Well, when Radio Picture wanted five beauties for the fashion show sequence in “Roberta” they tested 30 girls, and then sent out an S.O.S. to the ranks of professional models. That was a year ago. Those five models so delighted the camera that they’re still under contract. (1)

Just a few months ago, when M-G-M went scouting for 22 modern Venuses for “The Great Ziegfeld”, they discovered that the ex-models had a lot more poise and personality than the kids who were merely movie struck. Eighteen of those 22 “Ziegfeld Girls” were former models. Fourteen of the 18 were given contracts. You just can’t argue with “figures” like that, or should I say with “figures like theirs"? (2)

“Model your way to the movies” isn’t just a catchy phrase. Models come to Hollywood already equipped with the elementary essentials which studios spend a great deal of time and money trying to hammer into inexperienced youngsters. Models have already served their apprenticeship to the art of carriage, grace and charm. They’ve already passed a certain type of beauty contest. The girl whose picture helps to sell beauty preparations has to have a face that leads you to believe that the product is worth trying. A pair of silk stockings modeled on muscle-bound or "spindle” legs would scarcely lure you to the hosiery department. 

You never see a good model stumble over her train. She remains regal and sure-footed in the most confusing draperies. 

Figuratively speaking, these girls are above reproach. Most fashion houses require that their models be above medium height, broad through the shoulders, slim through the hips, and that their proportions be symmetrically arranged. Thus, they’ve long since graduated from the routine of diets, masseurs, and classes for corrective posture that faces tire average beginner. 

In other words, movie producers are finding out that modeling is a natural complement to screen work. Film executives are discovering that the girls who come to them from portrait and artists studios and from fashion salons are far ahead of those who approach Hollywood's pot of gold with no training. 

Not only that, but these ex-models seem to be well-mannered, well-educated girls whose off-screen poise and chic rivals that of their screen betters. 

Oh, dear are they gorgeous? They're enough to make us ordinary girls forget to look before we leap. Just for instance, take Pauline Craig [above] (3), an auburn-haired, statuesque beauty from Cleveland, O. She’s five feet six and one-half inches tall, weighs 118 pounds, and has a figure that only Jean Harlow (4) could be unconcerned about.  

Miss Craig was a “Ziegfeld” girl - now she’s under contract. She skipped the first grade in motion picture training, and I guess we all know why. She was a model. Her glorious smile has appeared in hundreds of advertisements. As a fashion model she worked for I. Magnins. (5)

Are you wondering if these girls observe any general rules for the maintenance of health and beauty? Miss Craig will tell you that most of them prefer fresh air to smoky drawing rooms, and that they substitute milk for alcoholic beverages.

Incidentally, her hobby is collecting pictures of the Dionne quintuplets. (6)

Another girl recruited from the model ranks for “The Great Ziegfeld" was Wanda Perry (7), a vivacious brunet from Brooklyn. She's five feet five and one-half inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has brown eyes. 

With her classic features and her superb figure, there was a great demand for her in New York’s portrait galleries and exclusive clothing establishments. She has posed and modeled for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, McFadden Publications and for tooth paste ads. 

With an already perfect camera presence, she is not to be enrolled in the studio's kindergarten for beginners. 

Over at Paramount there’s a queenly blond named Elizabeth Russell (8), probably the best known of former New York models. A favorite of such distinguished illustrators as Russell Patterson, James Montgomery Flagg, McClelland Barclay, Dean Cornwell, Paul Hesse, and Steichen, the photographer. Miss Russell is now in possession of a flattering long-term contract.

Artists agree that her features are photographically perfect. Artist or no artist, they’ll look perfect to you! She has modeled hose, nightgowns, and coiffures. Her blonde beauty has helped to sell cigarettes, jewels, soap, sheets, automobiles and first-aid kits. Very soon she'll be helping Paramount sell “Girl of the Ozarks,” her first picture (9). Miss Russell is five feet eight inches tall, weighs 118 pounds, has blue eyes and naturally blond hair. 

Another beautiful blonde who modeled her way to the movies is Louise Stuart (10), a former Chicago debutante. After graduating from Miss Mason's Castle (11) she went to New York to visit former school chums. It was during one of these visits that she was persuaded to pose for cigarette ads. One good look at her flawless countenance, and modeling jobs were her for the asking. With plenty of time on her hands, and nothing to do with it, she went to work. 

Miss Stuart attributes most of her success with the test director to her experience as a model. Posing for artists and photographers, she says, gave her a self-assurance which she has never lost. You'll see her first in “Lady Be Careful." (12)

A third Paramount prize is Veda Ann Borg (13), a stunning, red headed girl from New York. Before the studio signed her to a long-term contract, her divine proportions and sparkling personality had created a sensation in the modeling field. 

One of the most exquisite of Hollywood's newcomers is brunette Anita Colby (14) who stands five feet seven inches tall without her high-heeled shoes. Her face has smiled at you from magazine covers, commercial advertisements and from the pages of the nation's smartest fashion periodicals. Her beauty is attractively framed in poise, wit and charm. She is conversant with world affairs, music, art and literature. Pictorially speaking, she’s a model of perfection. Radio proudly points to her name on its contract list. 

Radio has two other "model" charmers in the persons of Maxine Jennings (five feet eight inches tall), and Lucille Ball (five feet six and one-half inches tall). Miss Jennings (15), a former model for the famous couturier, Jean Patou, is a stately redhead as handsome a creature as you ever laid your eyes on. You'll soon be seeing her in featured leads. 

Miss Ball (above), a blue-eyed blonde from Montana (16) and former model for Hattie Carnegie, is considered an important trump in the studio's hand. Her bosses have thus far cast her in wise-cracking roles, hoping to develop her into a counterpart of the late Lilyan Tashman (17) - but Lucille doesn't seem to need much help along those lines. Her poise, her suave delivery and her flair for clothes have already added to the gaiety of nations and have cannoned her well along the road to stardom. 

One of the most beautiful of the "model" brunettes is Hester Deane (18) who is doing much to enhance M-G-M productions. Her likeness on the backs of magazines has caused many a gentleman to change his brand of cigarettes, and she posed for automobile body advertisements long before the studio discovered that her presence on screen would “up” the grosses. 

She was born in Oklahoma City. Her education included art and music. Now, when she isn’t modeling or working in pictures, she designs clothes, takes piano lessons, and studies philosophy. 

A good look at Mary Jane Halsey (19) will have different reactions on you, depending on your sex. If you’re a woman, you’d just as soon she broke her neck.

Miss Halsey was born in Milwaukee. After her family moved to Los Angeles she became a model for a famous cosmetician. She is five feet six inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has blue eyes, and ‘shhhhhh’, she writes poetry. 

If these "model" newcomers get any taller, a few of our leading men will have to wear stilts. Extreme height, which has sounded the gong for many a beginners’ career, doesn't seem to be a handicap for the ex-models. When these lovely girls began to invade Hollywood, apparently the enthusiastic producers forgot all about the traditional physical specifications for screen heroines. There was a time when all actresses had to be extremely petite and slim, like Gloria Swanson and Colleen Moore, and, more recently, like Claudette Colbert and Margaret Sullavan (20). Unless you were a diminutive little trick about five feet two inches tall, and weighed less than 100 pounds, you might just as well have stayed on the farm. Greta Garbo and Kay Francis (21) were overlooked for a long time because of their height. 

But the restrictions seem to have been called off. It appears that models can grow as tall as they like without the danger of facing dismissal from the casting office. Margaret Lyman (22), one of the prettiest of the model group to win a picture contract, stands five feet nine inches in her stocking feet, and weighs 129 pounds. 

One of the most photographed models of the country, Miss Lyman has posed for Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, The New Yorker and for cigarette and soft drink ads. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a larger shoe than Garbo. 

And no less charming is pretty Jane Hamilton [below] (23), another popular girl who found her way into pictures through the route of her professional success as a model.

(1) “Roberta” was released by RKO on March 8, 1935. It was Lucille Ball’s 21st film.  Models were needed for the fashion sequences. The film also employed models Virginia Carroll, Diane Cook, Lynne Carver, Lorraine DeSart, Betty Dumbries, Myrna Low, Margaret McChrystal, Marie Osborne, Wanda Perry, Donna Mae Roberts, and Kay Sutton.  In addition to Lucille Ball, Wanda Perry, Maxine Jennings, and Jane Hamilton were in the film and profiled in this article.

(2) “The Great Ziegfeld” was MGM’s 1936 biopic of Florenz Ziegfeld, the showman who glorified female beauty on stage. Lucille Ball was not in this film, but was later part of the cast of “Ziegfeld Follies” (1951). This film employed dozens of showgirls and models to play the Ziegfeld Girls. Those profiled in this article include Pauline Craig, Wanda Perry, Hester Dean, Mary Halsey, and Margaret Lyman. 

(3) Pauline Craig (1914-97) made her screen debut in “The Great Ziegfeld” but only did five more films, leaving the business in 1939. 

(4) Jean Harlow (1911-37) likely did not know or care about Pauline Craig, even if Craig’s figure did give Harlow a run for her money. She was known as the original platinum blonde sex symbol. She died at age 26, at the peak of her popularity. MGM closed for her funeral. 

(5) I. Magnin & Company was a San Francisco, California-based high fashion and specialty goods luxury department store. It expanded across the West into Southern California and the adjoining states of Arizona, Oregon, and later to Chicago, Illinois, and Washington, DC, metropolitan areas. Mary Ann Magnin founded the company in 1876 and named the chain after her husband, Isaac. The chain was bought out by Macy’s in 1994. 

(6) The Dionne quintuplets (born May 28, 1934) are the first quintuplets known to have survived their infancy. The identical girls were born just in Ontario. All five survived to adulthood. The Dionne girls were born two months premature. The Ontario government and those around them began to profit by making them a significant tourist attraction. As of this writing, two of the girls are still living. 

(7) Wanda Perry was born Helen Beuscher in Brooklyn, New York, on July 24, 1917. When she was sixteen, she was named Miss New York City, and was offered a movie contract by Earl Carroll. Helen moved to Hollywood and took her mother's maiden name, Wanda Perry, appearing in films as a showgirl, an Earl Carroll Girl, a Goldwyn Girl, a dancer in "George White's 1935 Scandals," a fashion model, an extra, a bit player and a stand-in for Lucille Ball! Her final film was as an extra in Lucy’s Mame (1974). 

(8) Elizabeth Russell (1916-2002) was the sister-in-law of Rosalind Russell. She started doing films in 1936 and finished her career in 1960. (9) “Girl of the Ozarks” (1936) was a Paramount film also starring Virginia Weidler, Henrietta Crossman, and Leif Erickson. 

(10) Louise Stuart did two pictures for Paramount back-to-back in 1936. That was the extent of her film career.

(11) Miss Mason’s Castle is a reference to Miss C.E. Mason’s Suburban School for Girls in Tarrytown-on-Hudson, New York. It was open from the late 1880s to 1934. The castle was razed in 1944. 

(12) “Lady Be Careful” (1936) did not feature Louise Stuart as is said here, although records could be incorrect. The film did feature Elizabeth Russell, however. 

(13) Veda Ann Borg (1915-73) did her first film for Paramount in 1936, and was continually employed in Hollywood until 1963. She was the first actress cast as Honeybee Gillis in “The Life of Riley” TV series, replaced a short time later by Marie Brown, then Gloria Blondell. 

(14) Anita Colby (1914-92) was born Anita Counihan. Early in her career, at $50 an hour, she was the highest paid model at the time. She was nicknamed "The Face" and appeared on numerous billboards and ads, many of them for cigarette advertisers. She did three films in 1936 alone, the same year she appeared on 15 magazine covers in a single month. In subsequent years she only acted in three more films, returning to modeling. 

(15) Maxine Jennings (1909-91) did 10 films with Lucille Ball between 1935 and 1937.  After 1938, her film appearances were sporadic.  She made her final screen appearance on a 1968 episode of “Hawaii 5-O”. 

(16) Lucille Ball (1911-89) is stated as being a blonde from Montana. She was actually a brunette from Upstate New York.  

(17) Lucille is once again compared with Lilyan Tashman (1896-1934) a stage and screen actress known for her skill at verbal wit as well as her throaty delivery. She died at age 37, just one year after Lucille Ball arrived in Hollywood. 

(18) Hester Dean became known as 'The Girl with the Fisher Body' after modeling for the Fisher Automobile Company. Her only film was “The Great Ziegfeld” (1936). 

(19) Mary Jane Halsey (1913-89) was also in “The Great Ziegfeld” (1936) but by that time had done nearly a dozen films. She continued to act on screen until 1945. 

(20) Gloria Swanson was 4′11″, Colleen Moore was 5′3″, Claudette Colbert was 5′5″, and Margaret Sullavan was 5′3″.

she's definitely more of a peacemaker - while rosie may not have a formal teachers education, she's still very good at it, and she uses some of her mediation skills she's learned on the job on her friends. which they tend to not like lol. she's also really good at playing the piano - in another world, she'd be good enough to be pro, or at least have a spotify page. mood-wise, she's always outwardly happy - even when she feels like she's dying inside, she tries to look as happy as can be, or at least neutral.

in her world? she wants to be alive, honestly. she's already a teacher, which she loves doing, but she might be interested in transitioning fully to being a librarian. in a no-outbreak au, she teaches online while her and abby travel, but she thinks she would like doing music for video games and movies or something.

her parents are christopher and jessica - both were very loving and supportive while they were alive. they died about a year before the events in jackson, after running in to a group of scars.

she has a twin sister, hazel, who was her lifeline. the two were almost literally inseperable, up until hazel was killed by runners.

the only extended family she knows of is her nephew, wren - he's eight when the events of the game take place. the rest of her family was back in austin, and her parents weren't able to make contact with them after the outbreak.

for most of her life, yeah, she does - life under FEDRA isn't ideal, but it's safe, and they have enough food, and with the WLF? it's pretty good, and the little city at the stadium is really nice. after jackson, though? the cracks start showing, and she decides to leave the WLF with wren.

over the course of the story: seattle, jackson, and avalon, on catalina island. money isn't really a thing? she's comfortable enough, and is happy with what she has.

her sister. hazel is brave and strong and loving and -- rosie doesn't really see any faults with her (she does have faults, but rosie chooses to ignore them...). if she had been able to meet her grandpa, though, she would have adored him, and definitely would have been spoiled rotten by him.

for the longest time, it was that they were whole - they weren't sure about the extended family, sure, but their little nuclear family was intact. after her parents die? rosie thinks they're just like any other family in seattle.

It's not the biggest - she's closest with Whitney and Nora, but most of her friends are her coworkers in the school and library, though after she befriends Abby, she starts to befriend more of the Salt Lake crew and things get a little more... chaotic.

She didn't like her math teachers, but she adored her science teachers. Oddly enough for someone who ended up teaching history, she didn't really care for her history teachers - they were kinda boring.

She was a bit of a teachers pet lmao - she wanted to learn, so she was very good at staring the kids who were misbehaving down so they'd shut up.

Not really. She ocassionally needed help finding a place to do her homework, or for clarifications on things (particularly history-related) that didn't quite sound right, but that's it.

Ever-changing. First it was in a tent, then an old school, then she was a day student at one of the military schools... She finished her schooling at the new WLF school, and went on to teach there a few years later.

A few that'd tease her for being quiet, but that's as far as it ever went. To be fair - Hazel was protective, and the other kids knew not to mess with either of the Bowers girls lol

She threw a book at a kid in her class once. Teacher didn't believe it was her, though, so she got off scot-free. She's still not sure how she got away with that...

FAVORITE

Color: He’s naturally drawn to dark colors, since he spent so much of his life lurking and slipping through the shadows as an assassin. for literally eight years of his life yall. He especially likes the color of the sky on a clear night, completely midnight black. He’s spent many evenings out on his balcony to find some comfort looking at the stars. It made him feel grounded amidst so much chaos. 

Hair color: Much like his favorite colors, he’s inclined toward darker shades, like black or dark brown. (shocker that he noticed Dorian, huh)

Eye color: He doesn’t have a specific preference, but bright, striking eyes do stand out to him, as they would to anyone else.

Food: Vesryn loves sweet foods! If there are desserts in Skyhold’s kitchens, you’d better believe he’s going to eat more than he probably should and take a stash up to his quarters for later. If there are a few icing smudges or crumbs on official documents, well... His time in Orlais gave him a much more distinguished palette than what he had with the Dalish, and he’s now a bit of a picky eater because of it. He’ll eat anything if the situation calls for it though, like if he’s venturing away from Skyhold for extended periods. But if anyone knows Vesryn well, they’ll remember to pack extra spices for their dinners at camp (unless you’re okay with hearing at least one snarky comment about blandness).

Butter soup, Fereldan-style stew, any well seasoned meat, cookies, small pastries, sponge cakes, etc

Drink: Naturally, he drinks a lot of water since that’s easiest to come by on the road. He also likes a nice cup of hot tea in the evenings to settle himself before trying to get some semblance of rest. Alcohol wise, he tends to stay away from ale and mead. He mainly drinks wine, preferably the sweeter variety, like Dandelion wine.

Book: He’s not much of a reader, but at the very least, he’ll browse through historical accounts or research certain subjects if he feels he needs to be further educated to better fill his role. He doesn’t want to be at the brunt of political decisions with no former knowledge to go off of. (but then he goes and does things like publicly assassinating Florianne, sigh)

His anxieties kept him awake at times, or brooding over past decisions that could have played out differently if he had just done this or that. He was also often called upon by his advisors to discuss important matters, and these discussions would often go late into the night. He also had to settle small disputes sometimes. Who says the Inquisitor needs sleep?

Scared easily: nah, it takes a lot to actually make him squirm. One of the biggest things he was afraid of was allowing himself to fall in love, since he doesn’t trust easily. 

Jealous easily: He would have you believe that he isn’t, but deep down, he is. This shocked him, because he had never felt attached enough to anyone to the point where jealousy would even begin to cross his mind. A son of a noble family in Orlais had hired the famous masked “Era’Harel” many times to take out his family’s rivals one by one, and Ves had felt comfortable around him. But the noble showed his true colors early enough that Ves never allowed himself to fully fall. (that whole story is too long for me to fit here)

With Dorian, though... Whenever he would see someone speaking to Dorian suggestively, he didn’t understand what that unpleasant twisting in his gut was, until he did. And man if that wasn’t an oh shit moment for him, whew.

Trustworthy: If he likes you. Just kidding. Sort of. He’s very manipulative, so if he needs to make someone believe that he’s trustworthy, he will. But he is genuinely very trustworthy toward his comrades. He only deceives crude, all around evil people nowadays as political maneuvers. (Turns out, there are a lot of those in Tevinter) 

Dominant: Before becoming Inquisitor, I wouldn’t say he was docile or shy, but he generally kept to himself. If the need arose, he would definitely stand up for himself/fight if necessary, but he preferred to avoid attention. Becoming Inquisitor forced him to change in a lot of ways; it forced him out of his shell since he had to become a leader, for one. (and it also made him a lot kinder, yay friendship) He became a lot more of a dominant personality over the course of Inquisition, and being most in control is now where he’s most comfy.

Sage hasn’t done much room decoration yet, due to school stress and just trying to acclimate to the team, but she has put up a few things. A picture of her and her dad at a baseball game when she was about five sits, framed, on her  nightstand. The mini fridge is consistently stocked with Mountain Dew and energy drinks, which she appreciates, and sometimes she sticks Starbucks drinks in there too. Her closet is chock full of sweaters and scarves, though she doesn’t have a huge excess of shoes. She only has about a dozen pairs of jeans, and one or two pairs are very much the mom jean style. She keeps a picture of her and her best friend taped to her bathroom mirror. It’s the two of them at The Grand Canyon, a trip they’d taken in the summer of 2014. Then her friend was nineteen, and she was eleven. Her friend had gotten her into a pair of shorts and a tank top, and they’d hiked a mile and a half down into the canyon. They swear they almost died on the way back up, but both of them only have the fondest memories of the trip. On her bed, permanently tucked under the covers is her bison. His name is Kumquat, and he was given to her by a little foster brother from her third family. They’d named him together, and Sage took Kumquat with her when she moved on, and he’s never left her bed (wherever that may be) since. She has a map tacked up on her wall that her first ever foster family gave her. They’d loved her almost like their own, but just as they were about to adopt her, the husband had lost his job, so they couldn’t afford to support her. There had been a lot of tearful goodbyes during that move, but the wife had given her the map, with a phone number and an email scrawled on the side and told her to mark down every place she ever went or stayed, whether the family was perfect, terrible, or just in the middle. She said she wanted Sage to travel to see the world because she knew Sage would change it one day. She told her that if she ever needed anything, anything, to call them and they would do everything they could to help. Sage called them a lot those first few months away just to help her calm down and not be too overwhelmed.

Physical touch, words of reassurance, knowing that she is loved by someone even if they aren’t there all of the time, and knowing she always has someone to turn to if things get too overwhelming.

Describe a recurring dream or nightmare this character might have.

Sage has a recurring nightmare when she starts getting close to someone, or when life has been really stressful where someone that she’s very close to starts ignoring her out of the blue, and a celebrity that she loves dies. It’s very traumatic every time.

Sage has always wanted a puppy. Now that she lives in the tower, she realises that she probably can’t get one, but she’s thinking that once she’s lived there for a while, she’ll ask Loki for a kitten.

Middle-Class? jackson, wyoming! i feel like pretty much everyone there is probably roughly around the same level? the norths were firmly middle-class before the outbreak though, and they do have one of the nicer/larger houses in town, just by virtue of being one of the first settlers.

16)   Do they have a lot of expectations/pressure on them from family to do great? nope - hannah and charlie would like her to do amazing things, of course, but they want their kids to be happy first and foremost.

17: Someone you miss: I used to have a customer at work who was retired but younger than her husband and so he still worked.  Every day she would come into the coffee shopat 11am and i would sit and have my lunch with her.  She used to tell me all about her days when her husband was in the army, how they met when she was 17 and fell in love back in Ireland, how they lived in Germany and her hobbies.  We discovered she lived really close to me, so my husband and I used to go visit her sometimes, and we took her to Ikea and few times because she couldn’t drive.  She wasn’t feeling well for a while and when she went to the doctors she was told she had cancer, end stage, 3 months to live.  It was all a blur, and happened so fast I couldn’t process all the information i was given about what was happening to my friend.  One day i went into work, after having a week off, and a mutual friend/customer was crying and I asked why and she just said “Ruth died.”  It hit me like a ton of bricks and i had to go out back to cry in the alley way with my colleague.  We all got special permission to have the day off for her funeral and her family consider us as more than just baristas - we knew her for over five years, saw her every day and we were her friends.  I miss her every day at 11am when she doesn’t walk through the door anymore.

18: Most traumatic experience: oh my god.  Because I am most wise, I grew 4 wisdom teeth, but one was causing me a toothache.  I hadn’t been to a dentist for 15 years (coward lol) and so i walked around with a toothache for over 10 months.  Then it got so bad, I HAD to go, and after some xrays I needed it surgically removed at the hospital.  Further scans showed the root was touching a nerve in my face, and despite maxing me out with numbing agent, I could feel everything.  So, like something out of a horror movie, I had a wisdom tooth surgically removed whilst laying back in a chair in a dimly lit hospital room and felt every single thing.  They put my husband in the next room and turned up the radio so he couldnt hear me crying.  The dentist also punched a hole in another tooth, but I’ll be dead before I go to another dentist lol

19: A fact about your personality: I have a very dry wit and sense of humour in RL, but i tone it down online because I can be offensive lol

20: What I hate most about myself: Physcially, my neck. Its so long and gross.  Other than that, i hate the way my anxiety can rule my life sometimes :(

Jimin’s pov

“But (Y/N) they won’t stop laughing at me” I told (Y/N) as I cried on her shoulder, one of her little hands going up and down my back, while the other was playing with my black hair. “They keep saying I’m too short and chubby and they don’t want to play football with me, ever.” I sobbed trying to wipe away my tears with my hand, but she soon replaced them with her own, sending a hot shook down my spine with every movement her fingers made on my cheek.

“Hey, Chimchim, I can play football with you, if you teach me, then we will for sure kick their ass, and now for your height and your “chubbiness”, which I don’t see by the way, I think you’re perfect and cute and don’t let them tell you other-wise, ok?” Even though that was a way to calm me down, those few words made me stronger. She always cared about me and helped me through everything. She was my little angel, I loved her.

(Flash forward)

“(Y/N)! Why? Please just tell me you will talk to me, that we will see each other again, I just need to hear that” I yelled at her soaked figure, resulting from the rain. She was leaving me, she saved me and now she’s breaking me apart, after almost 12 years of friendship.

She didn’t move but I noticed she was crying even if we were meters apart. She slowly looked to the ground and after a while locking eyes with me again.

“I’m sorry, I truly am. But I am doing this for a reason. Be happy, Jimin, you deserve it, you deserve to live a beautiful life, so do you a favor and, please, don’t try to contact me or find me in any way. Forget about me Jimin. That’s the only thing I ask you.” She said not even waiting for a response as she run away from me. Once I got back to reality I started running to her.

I run for what it seemed as hours, until a loud honk stopped me as I found myself in the middle of the road in a red light.

I woke up sweeting and crying. I looked to my side and saw my alarm clocked. 3am.

I have been having the same dream over and over again, but with different happy moments at the beginning, only to be crashed by the last memory of her.

I got out of bed and went to the kitchen to have some juice and just calm myself down.

Even though (Y/N) left me 8 years ago it still hurts every time spring approaches, close to the date when my heart was broken in million pieces by a girl who used to fix it. I still remember the first time we met, we were 6 and just playing in the playground when I fell down and hurt my knee…

“Stop it, Jimin. You can’t be crying over the same girl. Is pathetic” I told myself and washed the glass to get ready to sleep again; hoping this time (Y/N) wouldn’t be there.

Your pov

It was 3am right now, perfect timing.

You entered the hospital from the back door, trying to not make any sound with your combat boots. The stairs to the donation center were only some meters away from where you were standing. Perfect.

Slowly you entered the place and that fragrance you were living for embraced you. Many nurses came running next to you with 2 blood bags on each of their hands. Moving aside letting them go through you continue your journey to one nurse in particular.

“Jin” you called for him once you were close enough not to shout.

He started searching for you and once he found you he smiled and made a finger move, indicating to follow him. People donating blood, nurses and random people walked pass you, some noticing you and staring and others not giving a damn about your presence. You preferred the second type.

Jin finally entered a room and holds the door for you to get in, and once you did he locked the door. Without looking at you yet, he goes behind a desk and takes a box out of who knows where.

“Here are supplements for another 3 months or so.” He put his arm around the box smiling proudly.

“Thanks buddy, you’re the best!” You jumped in excitement as he laughed. “Oh and I’ll talk only good things about you to everyone, including Namjoon” You smiled and got closer to grab the box. Jin blushed and smiled widely.

“You are welcome, now get home before someone sees me out of the patient’s room” He gave you the box and opened the door for you to exit.

“Jin we need you on room 36! Come on!” A nurse came running to him, and after some seconds seeing me. She observed you from head to toes and tilted her head to the side, as she looked at Jin again, trying to find answers.

“Oh, sorry I interrupted your work Jin! Thank you for the cake for my mum! She will love it for sure!” You said to Jin as you took that as your leaving phrase and started walking towards the exit of the building.

Hot and windy weather hit you as you started walking towards your car, your skirt moving dangerously as you walked, but you still made sure nothing was on display for the people at the back of the hospital at 3am, that were, well, no one.

You left the box on the back seat of your “new” car, and opened the front door to sit at the pilot seat.

You were still thankful that your mum helped you to get this car, as the moving wasn’t cheap at all. You had a wonderful car back in your previous home, which were now miles away from here.

Suddenly, flashback of when you left this country, your home country, to go to another one came, and the picture of a beautiful little boy came to your mind. Jimin. You left to save him, to save him from you.

“Stop it, that’s it, you won’t see Jimin never again, get through it already” You told yourself hitting your legs with your hands. But you knew that it was easier said than done.

You met him when you were 6, and after a lot of beautiful years together you left without explanation, well at least you didn’t tell him your reasons. He probably hates you now, if he still remembers that girl that left him at 18 in the middle of a rainy spring day. Years have passed and now you were 27 years old, working a normal job in a normal office. But that didn’t mean you were “normal”.

But he didn’t have to know that, and he never will. That was the promise you made yourself once you left him. And you were willing to keep it.

“Okay, I will go right now, ok?” You told Jin as he handed you a little box containing god knows what.

“Alright I will send you a message with the address of his workplace. Make sure you give it to him and not to anyone else, this is important.” Jin handed you the box and you nodded, taking it and started walking to the hospital exit.

It wasn’t that strange to see you in the hospital, but this time it wasn’t for blood of for anything of that sort. Jin, your friend, has asked you to give a top secret box to Namjoon, which, knowing Jin was probably his birthday gift.

Spring was already here and you noticed all the beautiful flowers blooming as you walked to your car. It was the first time that you came at the hospital during the day, and you tried to keep every single detail, as you weren’t sure of when you were going back.

Carefully you placed the box on the back seat and put the belt on it so that it won’t move anywhere. Closing the door and then jumping to the driver’s seat just as a message came.  Jin just gave you the address of Namjoon’s office, so you turned on the GPS, as you were still lost in the big city, and started to drive there.

A couple of minutes later you parked your car, and getting the box out. Careful so that it wouldn’t get damaged you made it to the doors of the big company.

Your eyes slowly tried to take all the building, something kind of impossible to do, as it was really tall. You deliberately got inside the big gates.  The decorations inside did not disappoint you at all. It was classy and expensive-like. Black and white with a little bit of cream tones here and there. The reception was in front of you, and luckily the receptionist was sweet with the fact that you needed to deliver the package face to face.

You wished Namjoon told you to wait there and that he was going to get it, but since he couldn’t leave his office at the moment, he asked for you to get to him. The receptionist told you which floor he was in, and with that you got on the elevator, pressing the number 19 on it.

Namjoon should be important as for what you knew about this company, the president was on the 20th floor, being that the last one. Since Namjoon was on the 19 you tried to think which his position was, but Jin has never talked about it.

After what seemed hours you got to the floor and the doors opened, letting your eyes admire everything. The same color tones of decorations that you have seen once you came in were here, just that they were different now, as they were combined with offices, phones, printers, and other normal stuff to see in a work place.

Your feet started moving forward as your mind wondered, thinking of what you could do with your life if you got to work here. You weren’t poor, but rent was a kind of struggle every one and then, more now that you left your perfect job in your other home to come and take care of your mother, who was still trying to get over your grandma’s dead and still thinking about your father’s disappearance from years ago.

You came back to reality once you saw a big figure walking towards you.

“Namjoon! Happy late birthday! I tried to call you yesterday but guess what?” He tilted his head indicating you to go on as he had no idea what you were talking about. “You didn’t answer so I gave up and Jin called me to ask me to give you this so here you go!” Your arms extended to a full almost hitting his chest with the box. He laughed.

“Thank you, and say thank you to Jin for me” He said taking the box and putting it between the side of his torso and his arm.

“I think you should call him, you know, he really cares about you.” His smile disappeared and he looked to the ground. He was about to speak, but right when he was about to your mind stopped.

A strong scent came hitting you like a truck, and suddenly the reason why you were there wasn’t that important anymore. This aroma took all your attention. You remembered that, and you loved it. Fruits, flowers, vanilla, you couldn’t find anything that compared to this. Your lips curved upwards and a small spark appeared on your eyes.

“(y/n), hello? Are you there?”  Namjoon kept trying to get your attention but right now, that was impossible.

Still trying to find in the back of your memory that kind of fragrance that got your head spinning, you looked to your feet. They were blurry.

“(Y/n)? What the hell are you doing?” a guy called you as you were hiding behind a tree trying to contain yourself. You were crying, trying that your fangs could hide already so you could go to play again. Steps getting closer made you more nervous that you already were.

“Stop. Stop it!!” You shouted making the guy jump in surprise as he was only centimeters away from the tree you were hiding.

The sounds stopped. He wasn’t moving. After a while trying to calm yourself down you heard the guy taking steps backwards and slowly leaving you.

You felt your anger leave you, and you touched your teeth just to be sure. Once you felt no fangs you smiled and got up, turning around smelling his fragrance and watching him leave you.

“Wait.” You shouted again, but now he couldn’t hear any anger in it, so he turned around.

You saw his face, and just that made you smile. He wasn’t scare of you, he was happy.

Turning back into reality, once your sight became normal again you brought yourself up and looked at Namjoon. He was confused by the sudden change in you.

Your face turned and you searched for someone you hoped you didn’t see. But you did. Your jaw clenched as you observed him talking with another guy, wearing his suit. You suddenly wanted to hug him; you wanted to say everything you couldn’t say that spring day under the rain, but the only thing you managed to say was:

“Jimin”
