do you have a part 2 of where Mikey is cheating?
I do now ❤️
TW- Yandere-ish behaviour, a bit of victim blaming, implied murder, slightly detailed scene of murder, violent behaviour, implication of past cheating.
Mikey was a mess ever since you left, he knows he brought it on himself by cheating, but he was still angry. He missed you deeply, thought about you every night and everyday, you were his first thought when he woke up, and his first thought when he went to bed. You were- are his everything, in his head, you're still his, and nothing is ever gonna change that- nothing. You guys are just... on a little break, that's all. You didn't actually wanna leave, you didn't actually mean it when you said, you never wanted too see him again... right? You couldn't possibly mean that, after all you guys have been through together? You can't be serious, there's no way. So he let you have your little break, even if your absence clawed at him every minute of everyday, but when you didn't... it all kinda went down hill from there, even more so then normal.
It took awhile for him too track you down, longer then he was comfortable with or even, willing too admit. You're everything to him, the reason he even still gets up in the mornings, so, when you left his life,it affected him more then everything else ever has. He was so irritated, taking it out on traitors, torching them slowly as he deflected his emotional pain into physical on the people who have done him wrong. When he finally found you though, or, rather his men found you, his heart started too hurt. He's never been so happy in his life, having heard the news of your exact whereabouts, it pleased him greatly, his eyes even have a little bit of life back in them. He found you living in a tiny little apartment on the outskirts of Tokyo, it was quiet- peaceful even, something his lifestyle greatly lacked.
He contemplated whether or not too just knock on the door... or just break in. But, he ultimately decided too just knock for now and if that didn't work for him, he'd have no problem forcing his way in. You were glowing when you opened that door, looking content- happy even, but the way your smile dropped and the look of delight turned to dread, it hurt, it hurt him so fucking much to the point he almost toppled over. But he held it together, his eyes almost pleading as he whispered your name, it almost sounding foreign with how long it's lacked coming from his lips. But it felt re-freshing on his tongue, like a shred of hope as you stepped aside and let him in. Although hesitant, as your steps lacked genuine want, looking more forced, knowing who exactly this man was and what he was capable of.
It was quiet for a while, as you both sat on your couch, the silence feeling awkward and heavy as you tried your best too avoid eye contact with him. The action feeling too intimate knowing what he did and the way you left, it might've not been the best decision or the best way too leave, but you didn't really have any other option, knowing it would, most likely, start a big fight that you really didn't feel like dealing with at the time. Or the worse option, he didn't care at all and would just let you leave, that would've hurt a lot more then just leaving it up in the air, but with him being here, you were betting on the former being the more obvious situation if you were too have confront him and try too leave at the time, also taking into account that Mikey isn't the most stable, and that would've most likely pushed him off the deep end and would've led to worse consequences for you then just being homeless for a while before you were able too get a shitty job as a waitress and live in a tiny apartment.
"I'm... sorry for what I did.." were the first words he chose too spoke, the first words you've heard from him in months. You knew he was sorry, his presence at the apartment told you all you needed too know, but you also knew that you didn't have too forgive him for what he did to you, you put up with a lot of his bullshit, let him get in your face and call you ugly names or let him get violent with men when they, very stupidly, thought it would be okay too eye-fuck their bosses girl. Watched him beat a man within an inch of his life as soon as his disgusting hands layed a slap to your ass, with a nasty smirk, you've never seen Mikey move so fast in your life, a kick to the man stomach as he beat him bloody, black and blue. Having replayed the mans screams in your head as begged and pleaded with Mikey too not kill him, that he was sorry, you know the man wasn't sorry for what he had done, only sorry that the consequences were so dire for him. That was the first and only time you've watched Mikey kill a man, he kept you locked away for weeks- months after that... incident.
You decided too keep quiet, which was a big mistake on your part cause it only made Mikey inch closer to you on the already small couch. His hands grabbing at your shaky ones, pulling them up to his lips as he left the softest kisses on the backs of them with the whisper of, "let me make it up to you, please?" You wanted him too, you really did, you missed when he was soft with you, although very rarely, he still was willing too show vulnerability. Your head was already clouded not having fully processed the whole infidelity on his part, but you did miss him and with his appearance at your apartment causing a wave of emotion too bubble in your chest and tear ducts, you did, you let him take care of you again. Just hoping and praying that you wouldn't regret everything when your head was a little bit clearer and your arms weren't wanting too constantly reach out and hug him, when your heart wasn't constantly begging you too let him touch you again, too take you again and have you so vulnerable under him as he whispered, hopefully, long-lasting promises in your ear.
So you did, you let him lay your back on that rough, uncomfortable couch as he left kisses on your face, leading down your neck and turning into love marks. Leaving spit-covered kisses down your chest as he hiked your leg over his waist, kissing underneath your ear as he whispered just how sorry he was to you, promising he'd never he look at another woman again, that what he did was a one-time stupid mistake. Whispering about, how it took him losing you too realise just how perfect you were, how rare you were too continuously stay by his side, too pledge your loyalty to such a bad man, such as his self- a monster. To a man who has taken more then he has ever given in his entire life, he knows that you're special, special to him, but just special in general. Letting him have- letting him take you in a place you now called home, knowing what he's done, he was selfish, he knows that, but he's done with it, now that he has you back in his arms, he's never letting you go again. Over his dead body- or, more like the dead body of the woman he had sex with, that led you both to this moment, no more.

What is Simon 'Ghost' Riley actually like in a relationship (according to me)
A/N: I know this isn't anything like the things I usually write fics about but if I don't get this out of my system, I will spontaneously combust into flames from thought overload. There is a lot of great fics about him out there, 100%, but there is a steamy pile of garbage as well which makes Simon "an abusive asshole" to quote a TikTok I recently saw - and I couldn't agree more. So, here is my soft take on this tough guy and I hope you can enjoy reading this despite it being pretty far away from everything else on this blog.
Warnings: mentions of torture, violence, weapons, PTSD, profanity, explicit sexual themes but also so much fluff and softness
A/N pt. 2: I base this on Ghost's backstory according to the comic books as well as the video games but this is just my take so if you imagined him differently, that is totally valid!
* * *
Firstly and most importantly, Simon is a very different in his private life compared to his work; meaning he is good at separating the violent side of his work life from the life he has with you.
He must be the softest, the most gentle person there is when he is with you. I think he is very shy in the beginning as well as in early relationship given how his father treated him growing up. It is not that Simon wouldn't trust you, it's more that he would not trust himself. After all, after the Manuel Roba operation, he was tortured for months and came out with severe anger issues.
However, he was able to resolve this when he re-joined the military and engaged therapy but the scars remained: both mental as well as physical.
The reason why Ghost never takes off his mask is because of the scars Vernon and the lot left on his face (and the rest of his body). They are healed now but whenever he sees them in the mirror, he is reminded of everything he has been through, especially the loss of his family.
After Simon had told you why he keeps his mask on even in private life, at least the bottom part, you would not mind it as much but you would also reassure him that the way you feel about him could never be changed by some scars.
Needless to say, Simon would be very, very protective of you. He has lost everyone he has ever loved and cared about and he would never allow the same happen with you. It must be said though that Simon is not possessive. He above all knows the importance of freedom, especially when it comes to making choices about yourself and your comfort.
Still, Simon would face some control issues when you'd go out on your own. At work, he is used to being in charge of everybody, making sure everyone is safe and manning their positions. But with you, he needs to remind himself you are not going to war but just out with your friends, out grocery shopping, out to the library or somewhere. The thought of losing you drives him insane. He could never forgive himself if it happened when he could be by your side instead.
It goes without saying though that Simon prefers the comfort of his home to just about any other place. Clubs give him anxiety and the loud music triggers his PTSD, bars and restaurants are okay here and there but there is no place like home.
He does enjoy hiking and walking with you though.
Simon is romantic by heart so picnics in the nature would be his go-to dates. A bottle of wine, cheese and olives, a blanket in a spot with a view... You'd trace his features gently with the tip of your finger; the curve of his nose, his lips where he'd take your hand in his and kissed it softly as you would lay together in a secluded spot somewhere.
Bonus: when you decide to go home, Simon would never let you help carry any of the things he'd brought. Maybe the blanket but everything else, he'd pile up in his massive arms and carry them all the way home while barely seeing over the heap.
When it comes to sex, Simon would be just as reserved as with taking off his mask in the beginning. He would need much assurance from you that you really wanted to be with him intimately before trying anything.
Contrary to popular belief, Simon would never do anything that could even remotely hurt you when you had sex (or otherwise). On the one hand, he is well aware of his size and strength, and on the other, it is his childhood trauma that keeps him from trying anything that could potentially hurt you (even choking, spanking, etc. is not something he is comfortable with) even if you'd ask him to experiment.
Simon has seen, felt and inflicted too much violence in his life to have it included in his love life as well. All he wants to do is make you feel safe and loved especially when you have sex because this is one of the ways he expresses his love to you.
His sex drive is not that high but when you do have sex, he likes to make it special and intimate. Simon is very serious about it and wants you to enjoy yourself more than anything. To be honest, just seeing you climax causes him do the same.
He enjoys going down on your very much; the intimacy, the softness of your moans, his arms locked around your thighs when his fingers are not intertwined with yours.
Simon's favourite part though is the aftercare. He loves cuddling with you. Physical touch is yet another of his love languages although he was very reserved in the beginning of the relationship.
He is the big spoon the majority of time but sometimes (his favourite) Simon lays his head on your chest, wraps his arms around your waist and lets you play with his hair. He can fall asleep almost instantly.
It cannot be stressed enough that Simon never ever EVER raises his voice at you. Even when you are having an argument (which is not often), he never yells much less gets violent in any way.
He is a great listener and despite not saying much a lot of the time, Simon communicates well although he struggles very much to word his feelings.
After an argument or just for no particular occasion at all, Simon gets you flowers (a lot) - and different kinds every time. Another way for Simon to apologize is to cook for you. He is not very good at it but it is the effort that counts.
When he is away on a mission, Simon calls you a lot just to hear your voice, especially when he is too stressed to fall asleep. Your voice calms him down and help him get some rest but also reassures him you are alright whilst he is not there to keep you safe.
Simon likes to listen about your day, your feelings and your ideas. It keeps his mind far away from dark places. But every now and again, he would trust you with a fragment of his memories when his thoughts are just too loud. You know how precious and how rare it is that Simon opens up to you.
You don't say anything when he talks about his memories and his family but you always hold his hand, brushing your thumb across his calloused knuckles or drawing gentle shapes against his broad back.
You pepper his skin with soft kisses when his voice quietens and lead his head to rest against your chest as you pet his hair.
He likes to listen to you sing too, even if your voice is not the greatest. Even just humming a random melody and feeling your chest vibrate softly beneath his cheek will ease his heart.
Random bonus: Simon drinks English breakfast, no cream and one cube of sugar and has an occasional cigarette with it (Marlboro).

Hello, thank you for answering our questions! Often, when I try to find fan fiction with an adult Harry, for some reason the authors prescribe a caricature character from early books for him and write his character from extreme to extreme. Or Harry is soft, gentle, kind, hates violence and constantly forgives his enemies, is not capable of murder and turns a blind eye to alarm bells. And he also whines because of morality (I hurt my abuser, oh, how bad I am!). Or he is aggressive, impulsive and stupid. What traits of Harry's character could change in 10-15 years? Or how will his approach to problem solving change? For example, Harry's anger will become more tamed and deliberate. And also, I always thought that Harry was more focused on gray morality, because he saw the best in the worst people, as well as the worst in the best people. What do you think about it? I really like your posts about Harry's character, magic and mind. You're doing great 🩷🩷🩷
Thank you so much! 😊
Well, I mean, I don't know if I'd say Harry is focused on grey morality, he is a good guy who for the most part believes in justice (sans a few exceptions for people he cares about/really hates). Because in general, he acts according to a pretty clear moral code in his mind. It may not be your moral code, but Harry has one that he doesn't consider grey. I talked about this more here.
And, like, Harry is a forgiving person, but his forgiveness is a bit selective. In general, he believes someone who did something bad, deserves something bad to happen to them in turn but if there's a specific reason for him to sympathize or to believe there's good in that person, he will be willing to offer forgiveness. I mean, he offered Voldemort to try for some remorse. Harry is willing to offer the possibility of forgiveness. But he is no pushover, if he sees he isn't treated back with the same respect, then he isn't going to keep trying. He does not have limitless patience and he has little to no tolerance for other people's shit. So while he can forgive when presented with a reason to do so, he's not someone who'll keep dishing out chances to people who don't deserve it.
As for how I imagine him when older, honestly similar to how he ends the books in terms of morals and worldview, probably. I think he'd get calmer, a lot of his anger is a response to trauma so as he heals with time, he should get less angry, less hypervigilant, and less jumpy. Though, I imagine his temper and vigilance never disappear completely and even in his later years, he'd be, like, sitting at a restaurant and the server would pass just too close behind him and he'd have the urge to pull his wand out and deflect the threat. But it would be an urge and he wouldn't actually do it unless he needs to.
His temper, while he'd have better control of it, wouldn't disappear completely. I can still see a Harry in his 40s or 50s just snapping at someone in anger and shouting at them. If they didn't deserve it he'd feel bad and apologize later, but sometimes, you need to shout off the ear of some stupid ministry person. I think Harry should be allowed to do that, as a treat. But I don't see him ever getting violent in his temper, ever. Shouts and rude, snide comments are the furthest he'd go without consciously deciding violence is necessary (Even if he'd imagine strangling annoying people in his head).
I also think as Harry grows older he'd become more confident. Like, Harry in the books really lacks self-esteem and he has no clue how great he is. I think that although older Harry would still have a somewhat skewered image of himself, he'd be more confident and have a vague understanding that he is smarter and more magically powerful than the average wizard.
Part of the two above sections is that more and more of the sarcastic quips Harry makes in his head will be spoken out loud. We actually see it in the books, that Harry's more externally sassy as the books progress (he says his thoughts aloud more) and I think this trend will continue. Like, I imagine older Harry just says the wildest shit ever on the regular and finds others' reactions funny. Like, he doesn't need to be as worried about public perception as much, because like, "I saved you all twice already, I died for you, what more do you want?" so he'd allow himself to be a bit of a shit when he feels like it, I think.
So an older Harry would be just as witty as the younger Harry, quite funny, calmer than in the books, and more confident. He'd be less impulsive, but just as cable of violence when he deems it necessary (although, he'd probably need it less since he'd have a reputation that does half the work for him from a certain point). Like, as I mentioned in the past I like to think Harry eventually becomes a DADA professor and later headmaster, I kinda imagine students don't mess with him. Not because he ever hurt them (Harry would never) but because he just has that glare, and he looks downright scary when he stares into your soul with these Avada-colored eyes of his. But usually, he's a pretty fun teacher that's all about practical application and I'm sure all his students gush to their parents about how cool Professor Potter is and how he talks shit and laughs with them even though he's the savior of the wizarding world.
(Also Professor Potter is seen drinking in the Three Broomsticks with Head Auror Ron Weasley and the Head of the Being Division in the Ministry Hermione Weasley every Hogsmead weekend (their positions change through the years, I just picked a year at random))
Though, he'd always have a sadness to him, like, he's been through so much and it'll always show, even in subtle ways. I think this would allow him to be very empathetic towards his students.
I'd like to imagine that post-book 7 Harry returns to Deathly Hallows to visit his parents' graves every year. I think, post-war, Harry would visit as many graves as possible of people who died during the battle of Hogwarts on the date of the battle. He'd even visit Tom Riddle's grave if he had one because he'd feel sorry for him.
Like, these are some random thoughts I have about this (sorry I went on my "Harry should've been a professor" rant, just, a lot of my future Harry headcanons are tied to it).

idk if you have watched much press for s4 but maddie bailey is sending me with her responses to any riara related questions or fan praise…. (i think she’s obviously traumatised from the jiara situation.) anyway bailey made a comment about how kiara couldn’t stand murder let alone someone harming a fly which would make riara totally incompatible - and whilst i agree that’s true i also feel like her character would be the most capable of empathy/forgiveness compared to the other pogues!?!? like she’s so humanistic!!!!
would love your thoughts and a potential kiara deep dive 🫣
This ask is very apropos and you’re gonna need a drink…
I’m with you on the fact that Madison is probably traumatized by the way jiara was blown out of proportion by some fans and how that bled into their dynamics irl. It sucks so much that’s how it went down and I feel for them that they can’t be friends without things being made weird.
That being said, I don’t understand this extreme hatred she has towards Rafe potentially working his way to being a better person— regardless of him being someone who could potentially be with Kiara. Sure, don’t ship them but to say the fans of the ship don’t care about Kiara is… a take.
I 1000% agree with you, I think more so than anyone else Kiara as a character is capable of forgiveness given the opportunity to understand someone. Her heart and passion is what drew me in, she is so empathetic that its sometimes comes at her expense— I think that’s what her parents are terrified about when they see her hanging around the Pogues. Granted, the Pogues we know are genuine guys but her parents don’t know that or care to take the time to get to know them. Kiara did and since has had an unwavering loyalty to them. Her heart is so big and it’s perplexing to me that Madison thinks that there’s a cap on that? I personally don’t get it. I see Rafe as someone deeply troubled and who has never given a chance to get help— he lives with what he did everyday and resents himself for it. He was unwell, but rather than allowing him some grace, we’re what? Bashing him as he’s trying to make amends? Personally I believe that under the right circumstances any single one of the Pogues would’ve done what Rafe did regardless of who was in front of the gun, but their loyalty fits right on them and not on him. Rafe has continually expressed such a complex range of emotions about what he’s done and how he’s managing it— none of it was linear but that makes sense to me. I don’t expect him to have a clear path out of this but fucking hell he’s trying.
What really confuses me about their rhetoric is that they hate the idea of Kiara and Rafe because he’s dangerous, a murderer, psychotic, buzzword buzzword but then they’re happy to ship him with Sofia? Then all of a sudden it’s a cute relationship and he’s found his match. Dpmo. If they really believed Rafe was that dangerous why would they want Sofia, who is completely innocent in all this, to be with someone who has the potential to be violent again 🤨 Bc she’s “changed” him? It’s insipid and hypocritical.
Now for a mini Kie deep dive— at first I didn’t really get why Madison was playing Kiara like that during their scene together. She looked genuinely terrified seeing Rafe and her body language was so telling. And in my mind I’m surprised by her reaction because we’re seeing him heheing it up with Sofia and making business moves like? What are you afraid of? Venture capitalists? Yes. But then I took a moment to think about the state of mind Kiara was in.
I don’t think it was an extreme thing she did to pull out the knife. In her point of view someone just tried to kill her. Drown her no less and who else tried to drown her? Rafe. Her survival instincts were probably shooting through the roof because every time she sees Rafe, it’s never for a good reason. And you got to remember the very last time she saw him was at the beach with the sea turtles… not a good memory. She’s got no reason to trust he’s here out of the kindness of his heart, she doesn’t see/know him like that. All that mixed in with that batshit guy who’s hunting the Pogues down and the fact she’s alone— yeah the knife was a smart move. I think she would’ve done the same if Topper showed up tbh. I’m also proud of Rafe for not freaking out when seeing her hostility lmao, he’s come a long way. Back in the day (s2) if he saw that knife come out, he would’ve escalated the situation and made things worse.
And just to throw my two cents here— Rafe has been dogged this season. Oh my goooooddddd. You’re telling me he’s scattering his dad’s ashes alone, the only Cameron who cares? His dad who he last saw going off to South America with the Pogues? The Pogues who hate Ward and want him gone? And then his dad dies? Right after Rafe finally gets the approval and affection from Ward that he’s always wanted? And no one has given him an explanation of what went down? I’m surprised he hasn’t crashed out on them tbh. That little tiff he had with John B was too polite. In his mind 2+2= the Pogues killed Ward. Sarah and Rafe quite literally carried Ward to the tarmac together and it was all for nothing? No small reconciliation for the sake of Ward’s memory, after all he was their father. And he died for Sarah. It’s crazy to me.
Anyway I’m a spiteful person and the more people hate something the more I lean into it. The cast hating riara is hilarious to me because this ship was born out of nothing and now it’s in their mouths. Wild. I’m just upset that they’re facilitating hate towards people who ship riara, I’m of the mentality that you ship and let ship. Not gonna yuck anyone’s yum!

Hi, I really love reading about your PC (Cain? The one that can fight Bailey)
Do you think you can tell us about his interactions/feelings with LI!
omg hiiii (fluttering my eyelashes kicking my legs twirling my hair) thank you so much for the ask!!! i love to talk about my pcs and ocs and stuff
Cain is a menace but he does have his favs!! He has male LIs :]
cw: Dol typical bullying, assault/fighting and attempted murder mentions in Whitney's, stalking and kidnapping in Kylar's (kidnapping in Eden's), heavily violent fantasies and death in Bailey's
Tumblr media
Sydney!!!! Sydney was the first person he met at school who didn't try to fight him even when Cain was initially very destructive around the library- i.e. accidentally knocking over shelves, starting fights, returning books covered in mud and scratches- there were many times they bickered and such but Cain began to warm up to Sydney, trying harder to keep books clean and fighting anyone being a dick to Syd. They became very slow friends and often go to the beach together just to hang out. They do like each other but Cain wants to remain friends for the moment due to his living situation which is basically avoiding Bailey, sleeping in the wolf cave, being in and out of jail and he doesn't want his bad behaviour to rub off on Sydney or make him a target of bullying
Black Wolf Despite the rocky start, Black Wolf and Cain get along- they've reached a kind of mutual understanding and respect. Not really much to say here honestly, they'd probably play fetch together I guess.
Alex They're not close at all but again, they're respectful of each other. Alex's dogs like Cain and Alex trusts their judgement. Alex hasn't harassed Cain and for him? that's a win. Alex thinks it's funny when Cain tries to eat the birds that rest on the fence, he's still trying to figure out if Cain actually lives in a cave or not because he sure looks more and more like it by the day. Smells like it too. ...Cain has had to promise not to eat the livestock
Robin They were childhood friends. Cain would play with Robin and Robin would basically run damage control- however they've started to drift. Robin barely sees Cain at school anymore and he doesn't come home so yeah. Cain still considers Robin a friend but wishes he would stand up for himself more (and get an actual job). He can't always be there.
Whitney They HATE each other, it was a bad impression from the start but now, whenever they see each other they fucking FIGHT. It's getting to the point where it's not even funny anymore, they are actually attempting murder at times. One time Whitney gave Cain a chipped tooth and Cain broke his nose and strangled him as a response. They had to have no less than 5 students and 2 teachers to separate them. It's not a great relationship to say the least, but for some reason Whitney still antagonises Cain despite knowing the consequences.
Kylar This one's a doozy. Initially, Cain defended Kylar because he pitied him but as the stalking picked up?? Their relationship quickly went downhill. Cain got downright aggressive with him and Kylar didn't really like that. Cue hysterical Kylar kidnapping Cain and his escape. Yeah, he doesn't like that guy. Whenever Kylar approaches Cain nowadays it's either he gets ignored or punched. Cain doesn't forgive easily let alone for being kidnapped. Their relationship won't change any time soon, if at all. Bonus:
Wren They're blackjack buddies, Cain's not super good with words or tact but he knows how to play a fucking card game. Surprisingly doesn't cheat and has never lost a game. Thinks Wren is funny but also kind of a dick for stealing his clothes. May or may not have panicked and thrown him into the water at the docks.
Harper Listen, Cain's not the brightest bulb in the box- probably not even in the top 10- but he's pretty sure that's not what an actual doctor's certificate looks like (referring to the crayon drawn paper on the wall). Unimpressed.
Avery Thinks he's creepy but hasn't really had enough interactions with him to form a stronger opinion
Eden FUCKYOUFUCKYOUFUCKYOUFUCKYOUFUCKYOU Cain doesn't like him. He got captured once, escaped pretty quick but still holds nothing but hate for Eden. Even without being tied up, Eden's always stealing his fucking prey and he's pretty sure the other guy knows Bailey.
Bailey The orphanage owner himself. Cain wants to kill him and feed him to the dogs on the street- maybe drag his lifeless corpse to his pack so that they can have a big meal for once without that stupid hunter's interference. He wants to crush his windpipe and feel bones crack under his hands- really prolong it so Bailey understands the shit Cain's gone through to get here and how much this fucking town has destroyed him as a person. No, he doesn't care about the future- because Bailey is not a person to him, but instead a leash that strangles him at every turn and Cain is selfish. He is bitter and hopeless and he knows it. Something something kicked dog with rabies.

Ugh EPS annoys me because the Sun and Moon in this universe are very different from the ones in the main story, they’re different in a lot of ways, for one is that this Moon is far less violent or mean, and it seems as if the pain he causes Sun is completely on accident and neither of them like it, this Sun is also a lot more selfish and neurotic, as he doesn’t wanna give Moon the time of day whatsoever, and yet people claim that this is how the main timeline was when that is definitely not the case, in the main timeline Moon was a malicious aggressive presence from the start who constantly was torturing Sun and killing people, and Sun meanwhile was very skittish and yet forgiving of Moon and kept trying to talk him down despite having this constant painful battle. They’re very different from this universe, and yet people compare them anyway and claim that Sun was always selfish and Moon was always this poor little guy, it doesn’t help that Eclipse is saying things like “Sun was always naïve and selfish, and arrogant”, when we know that that’s not the case, also people seem to fail to acknowledge the fact that Eclipse is an extremely biased party when it comes to talking about Sun and Moon because he used to hate them so much and still kind of does, not only that but Eclipse always had a very incorrect perception of Sun, an example of which being how he believed that all Suns were stupid and weak, he said as much before he tried to go after Dark Sun, and he was immediately proven wrong when Dark Sun knocked him flat on his ass, so Eclipse is not a good point of authority when it comes to judging Sun and Moon’s character, heck, in this same episode he was quite cruel and mean to this universe’s Moon for no reason, and with Eclipse specifically, the reason Sun didn’t know Eclipse was there in his head was because Eclipse didn’t say anything, Eclipse was slowly growing into his own person and he still didn’t say anything to Sun even after he was strong enough, if he had said something sooner then Sun would’ve known he was there, it is not sons fault because how on earth could he psychically know that there was another presence in his mind when there is no evidence that there was one in there until July 16th happened, but Eclipse didn’t actually talk to Sun until after July 16th, which doesn’t help because Sun and Moon and everyone else thinks that Eclipse was the one that caused July 16th, they didn’t know Bloodmoon even existed yet so logically they would assume that this brand new presence inside Sun’s head who has made himself out to be their enemy would’ve been the one who did it, and he certainly didn’t clear his name by clarifying that it wasn’t him, he just laughed and acted like he was the one that did it, but it feels like people are going to still keep thinking that because of these new episodes and it is really annoying
It is.. that's why I don't watch this hacking show..
Eclipse Eclipse Eclipse.. *sigh* I had better opinion about you when you were still in our dimension and you were trying to stop Nexus and you were nicer to Sun..
And now it's just reduced to nothing.. *sigh*
I can't blame Dark Sun for thinking that Eclipses are just dumb because this one here pretty much proves it..
And of course people in this stupid fandom believe that Sun was like that.. cause why tf not.. and people are surprised why I say that this fandom is stupid..
How can I not say things like that when this fandom continuously proves it?
People are dumb af
Sun was NEVER like that.. and I HATE that Eclipse is saying that.. and don't start with it's because of his trauma.. when it couldn't hacking be..
Cause Sun wasn't selfish.. like Eclipse do you want us to not like you again? Do you want to completely fumble your redemption? Because you're doing good job if that's what you wanted..
*SIGH*
That's why I won't ever watch EAPS.. and no matter what no one will convince me to watch this hot-garbage of a show..
I'm disappointed.. really really disappointed.. in Eclipse mostly cause I thought that he started to change but NOPE..
Cause I'm definitely not disappointed in fans cause they were always like that towards Sun.. and this fandom is stupid so it's nothing new really..
Or at least I thought that Eclipse had more braincells to realize how different this Sun is compared to our Sun..

Rottmnt x child sibling reader platonic (reader’s about 7-8) who’s OBSESSED with magical girl anime’s
just some fluff moments
sorry if you this is the first kind of request you got, but if you saw my name am a huge magical girl fan😅
OH my god. Literally I understand I understand.
Tumblr media
Leo:
Honestly you’re telling me Leo wouldn’t watch sailor moon with you!?!?!
He’s so into everything. Merch, matching costumes, trying foods from the anime, the whole shabang!!
He’d so find shows for you guys to watch (stuff that he’s totally watched before) and he’d have to tape his mouth shut because he talks during shows and he doesn’t know how you feel about that.
He’d totally spoil the show tbh…
“Oh is That Ursula? Oh my god I loved the reveal that she was shiny chariot.”
You stopped talking to him for HOURS.
It takes so much for you to forgive him. He’s willing to do ANYTHING for his little sibling. He’s promising food, snacks, re runs, walking you to and from school in broad daylight knowing the risks, anything. He loves you too much, he can’t have you mad at him! It’d break his heart.
Eventually he’d be forgiven, you guys would be chilling in a blanket and pillow fort (that you forced him to make) along with all of your favorite snacks (that you forced him to buy), and matching outfits (that you forced him to wear), you guys are enjoying everything!
Tumblr media
Raph:
Arguably the best person to watch with.
I’m not gonna lie, he’d prefer you watching Mickey Mouse or something because he thinks they’re a little too violent. (NOTHINGS TOO VIOLENT RAAAHHHHH!!!!!)
Anyway, he’d make small comments and probably like the more sweeter characters. He also thinks sailor moon is a bad influence believe it or not.
He wants to watch a lot of the shows with you, but he can’t because you’ve already watched them all with Leo. He just wants one show for you two to watch to himself, for it to be your guys thing.
Not gonna lie to you, you guys almost did, for a week until LEO ruined it.
It made him so upset, it wasn’t the same having to re-watch a show with you knowing you’ve seen it with Leo before him. But like the best oldest brother he is, he SCOUTED. He found one that Leo didn’t watch and one that wasn’t too violent for him!
SMILE PRECURE! (Not the Netflix adapt, THEE Smile PreCure!)
“Hey, Are you sure you didn’t watch this with Leo? Yea? Okay! Good!”
Oh my god he was estatic, he had no issues (he had to fight Leo over this) and you loved the show! Win win! (His Favorite character is definitely Candy.)
Tumblr media
Mikey:
Oh my GODDDD he loves watching any show with you!!
It doesn’t matter if it’s sailor moon to princess tutu, he is watching ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING EITH YOU!!
Mikey don’t care. He literally will watch any show with you, even if it’s something you’ve watched before with Leo or Raph, or something you’ve never EVER watched before.
He’d genuinely make you free fan art and some nice cute foods from the anime. He just genuinely LOVES getting to spend time with you and blending your interests and his together.
“I made that one dish we saw in little witch!”
Tbh, I don’t see him really liking this type of anime. I just feel like he watches it for you. He wants to see YOU smile. You are his little sibling, the one that’s younger than him, and he’s the youngest!
He really likes to watch some of them for art inspiration. He really likes sailor moon Crystal for some reason. But he also doesn’t because he believes that it’s like a remake/reboot.
He’s just a little picky, but he’s doing his best!!
Tumblr media
Donnie:
Im gonna be honest with you. He will NOT watch it with you.
He doesn’t like those shows, he doesn’t like the magic at all, he is VERY political about this, he will stand by it.
Though, he will make you cute little trinkets and just support you watching the stuff. After all magic is not real in his eyes.
“I know you love that show, but magic isn’t real. Magic is within the science.”
He immediately regretted saying that after you took his stuff and tried to get “magic” out of them. So many things broke that day…
Donnie tried so hard to not lose it on you because your his baby sibling, but he’s also beaten up the other 3, but you’re like actually a baby…
He’s conflicted. He eventually does get over it, fixes everything, and he watches ONE episode of any anime you want. He’s barely paying attention and gives you a critical response and analysis of the show (you do NOT understand what bro is yapping about)!!!

Okay, here’s a headcanon for y’all. It has an angsty scenario, so be warned.
Nazo speaks different languages when he’s genuinely angry, like, pissed. Or when he hurt himself on accident.
And sonic has an Australian accent that comes out when that happens too. Which can lead to an encounter with dark sonic.
So imagine a scenario where they both would get angry at each other… say a massive disagreement over how to deal with a new villain that took Amy hostage, and is threatening to use her life force to power something.
Sonic is the first one to get genuinely angry at nazo and starts cursing at him in the accent, but nazo isn’t really phased at Sonic’s outburst of rage. He’s delt with dark Sonic previously himself. Along with him being a traumatized gen Z kid (2006), he’s not the type of guy to be intimidated easily. That is until Sonic decides to fuck around and find out and say that the only reason why he’s so calm is because his beloved seelkadoom or Iris aren’t in Amy’s situation, basically saying he doesn’t care about Amy… bad decision.
Nazo starts going off on Sonic in a different language, fluently. However, you can clearly see it struck a nerve with him, because he was panting heavily and had to back into a wall to try and calm down once he finished cussing Sonic out. However, Sonic isn’t the type to quit either, and kept yelling at him, cussing him out, and trying to get closer.
Seelkadoom and shadow were about to intervene, that is until they heard the little sobs of cream. She entered right before Nazo went off on Sonic, and it honestly kind of hurt everyone in the room that she had to hear this, especially since she never heard Nazo go off like that in all the times he’s babysat her for vanilla.
Speaking of vanilla, she is pissed. I’m talking like she’s about to murder someone in cold blood because someone made cream cry, but Sonic didn’t stop until he heard vanilla’s voice.
V: “Boys.”
Silence, complete and utter silence outside of cream’s hiccups and Nazo’s heavy breathing. Everyone was staring at her, waiting for what could happen.
V: “Sonic. My living room. Now.”
And with that, cream is left in shadow’s care as seelkadoom tries to calm nazo down. You can hear vanilla drop the bombshell in the hall across the living room.
V: “Sonic, I am not mad, just.. disappointed in you..”
You can hear Sonic crying in the hallway as he’s being scolded about his behavior towards nazo and cream, saying she expected much better from him in this situation. As he’s considered a leader, and a leader wouldn’t be trying to actively make someone snap and keep on being violent and aggressive with them afterwards. Especially when loved ones are at stake.
Eventually, Nazo is called in. He was fidgeting with his gloves and he was expecting the worst, but surprisingly, vanilla was not as mean to him as she was with Sonic. While she was stern, she was aware Nazo was trying to be a good influence for not only everyone here, but for her daughter as well. While what Sonic said was out of line, and that his outburst was valid, he was a leader as well; times of high stakes shouldn’t be made worse with pettiness and rage. He should have left the room and let shadow try and calm him down.. but in the heat of the moment, she understood that not much else could’ve been done after Sonic’s comment.
N: “I.. I’m really sorry, vanilla. I didn’t mean for any of that to happen, and to make your daughter cry..”
Apologies aren’t Nazo’s strength via words, more with actions, but it gave vanilla some reassurance that he’s trying to be a better influence for cream and cheese..!
V: “I understand that you didn’t mean to, and I forgive you.. just try to keep yourself together. Stressful times like these aren’t the time for rage and pettiness.”
Vanilla puts a hand on nazo’s head, rubbing it softly. This made Nazo surprised.. then he tears up slightly, not really sure what he was supposed to feel in this situation… but he knew one thing, it’s something he never felt before, but yet it gave him so much relief that he felt like crying..
V: “now, would you like to go and apologize to cream?”
Nazo looks up at vanilla and nods softly before wiping his tears.
N: “yes, it shouldn’t be just you that I apologize to..”
After Nazo apologizes to cream, everyone starts getting ready for bed. Well, until Sonic trips and falls down the stairs. You better believe seelkadoom got a recording and photos of that while everyone was laughing their asses off!

"Violent tantrums" what an odd way of saying "emotional breakdown due to intense grief, and that Katara is upset by not because she feelts threatened but because SEEING HER BEST FRIEND IN SUCH RAGE AND PAIN HURTS HER"
And yeah, Katara never reached out to comfort/soothe Zuko when he was in battle mode - because he was an enemy. One that was constantly attacking her, and not because of a fit of rage (even though he was prone to such behavior) but because he was supporting the systematic oppression and murder of anyone that wasn't on his side because that's how he was raised.
Of course Katara didn't try to calm him down, because Zuko was not acting out of anger but out of RACISM and INDOCTRINATION. She didn't try to reason with him because Zuko simply could not be reasoned with, at least not by a conversation with someone he saw as inherently inferior. There's a reason his arc had him being banished, then becoming a wanted fugitive, and finally a refugee in Ba Sing Se - if he had never been forced to truly experience the damage his nation was causing he would have never realized it was wrong.
It doesn't matter how much zutarians try to lie about it, only one of those two characters ever knowingly, deliberately put Katara in harms way, only of them was TRYING to be a threat, to intimidate her into obeying him, and it wasn't Aang.
If they want to ship Zutara, they need to either deal with the fact that it started out as two people being enemies because one of them literally couldn't understand that other races are not lesser people, or they make a modern AU in which there was no war so that element can be dropped. Trying to pretend Zutara was not rooted in violence and intimidation (at least at the start) but freaking Kataang was is ridiculous, pathetic, and proves that for all their talk about "liking a more complext dynamic" is nonsense because they're TERRIFIED of engaging with the one narrative element that would actually make their ship complex.
They want the "hate turns to love" aspect without going into WHY that hatred existed, because it wouldn't be the typical "both sides had something to learn", but rather "one side was actively racist and thus hostile, and the other was just reacting to it." They want to praise Zuko for learning from his mistakes, but they insist on sweeping said mistakes under the rug. They want to put him in the role of Katara's hero and hope for a better life, when he actually spent 5/6 of the show being the bad guy ruining her life, putting her and her loved ones in danger.
This is why the fanon dynamic of Zutara is racist and even misogynistic, while the canon one isn't, even though both involve Katara forgiving Zuko and growing to care for him: the show was interested in using Zuko's warped world-view to deconstruct it and make him change for the better, but the zutara fandom at large only seems interested in making up excuses for him, and thus robbing both Zuko and Katara of their complexities, as Zuko's growth is negated and Katara's righteous anger is not allowed to exist.
Zuko and Katara's canon friendship is about a bad person being forgiven when they realized they made a mistake and genuinely changing into someone worth admiring. Zutara's fanon romance is about a bunch of enablers pretending Zuko wasn't ever racist, hostile, and violent towards Katara.

Something about Zeffer
Just some notes about Zeffer I was thinking about.
(The following text contains MAJOR SPOILERS for future stories!)
As stated in this post, Zeffer dies in the upcoming story "For Goodness Sake". His own escalating madness becomes his downfall, driving him to attack Lily in order to goad Evan into killing him. But in an unexpected turn of events, Lily actually defends herself for once, thanks to Alaine's training "Pig Bait". She is forced to kill Zeffer in order to protect herself, and this haunts her for a long time afterwards.
She does eventually work through her grief during her time with the Karenzans. Her relationship with Zeffer was highly complicated, because he was her savior as well as her abuser, and some of that abuse was not his fault because Dario forced him to do it. Lily claims she "loved" Zeffer, but the nature of that love isn't clear. Romantic? Platonic? It's probably not even clear to her.
Despite how he terrorized her towards the end, Lily forgives Zeffer, recognizing that he had good intentions but was deeply tortured by his own sickness. After losing her own mind and trying to resurrect Dario, she really comes to understand how trauma can make good people do despicable things.
In "The Aldfog Mystery", Zeffer becomes an unrecognized hero when he slays every major vampire clan in Noalen. The only vampires left after that are small gangs and lone stragglers, which are easily controlled by the Evangeline and Folkvar guards. No one realizes that Zeffer was responsible for this until many years later, when Lily makes it known.
She does not want Zeffer to be remembered for the crimes he committed in his state of sickness. She wants the world to remember him for the bravery and selflessness in his heart, and the good deeds he did in order to make the world a better place.
Because that truly was what Zeffer intended. He grew up in a rough, violent area that was oppressed by vampires and suffered depression because of it. He took inspiration from Evan and decided to put his vampirism to good use, by using it to eradicate other vampires, instead of succumbing to his bloodlust and joining their oppressive ranks, or simply taking his own life.
When the Karenzans create the Etherean territory of Azizaland, Lily contributes Zeffer's name to its history books, describing him as a benevolent hero. He is the reason that Azizaland (formerly Taybiya) is no longer terrorized by vampires, including the ones who victimized her. Zeffer is the reason she is alive and cured of her own vampirism. Despite his flaws, he made a tremendously noble sacrifice on her behalf by giving up his own mortality to restore hers.
He did this not because he loved her or expected anything in return, but because it was simply the righteous thing to do. Zeffer despised all the corruption around him, so he rebelled against it with honesty and goodness. He knew someone in this crime-riddled shithole had to make a change, so he started with himself. That's pretty darn commendable.
The Ethereans love statues (Karenza is a sculptor, after all) and use them to commemorate benevolent entities. There are statues all over Azizaland, everywhere you turn, depicting beauty and heroism. Wicked beings do not get statues. So, Lily sees to it that Zeffer gets his own statue in Azizaland's grand palace--which was once the Dusk's castle.
His effigy stands guard over the courtyard for ages, watching as this once hellish city becomes a place of healing and benevolence. That is all he ever wanted: for Taybiya to be a better place, for Gaia to be a better place, and for everyone to be happy and fulfilled in life.
Karenzans often meditate at his statue, as it reminds them never to succumb to dark temptations, and to keep fighting against darkness no matter the odds. It empowers them with the will to stay righteous-hearted in the face of cruelty and wickedness.
RIP Zeffer. :( Gaia knows you weren't a perfect man, but you were a real Good Guy.

Would og no heart have ever been able to reformed like unleash?
As someone who’s been in love with him since I was 4-6, I have very mixed feelings. I think.
Tumblr media
RAMBLING AHEAD.
Yippee!!
On one hand, a part of me doesn’t think so, because a lot of cartoon villains in the 80s (to my knowledge) weren’t really fleshed out, and only existed to be evil and nothing more or less.
But the other part of me hangs on to that small bit of copium.
I am a HUGE sucker for fleshed out and developed villains, and I really would have loved to see what made him evil in the first place and why he hates positive feelings so much. Even though he technically doesn’t, as we’ve seen how much he cares for Shreeky in a few episodes (and would never dare to get rid of Beastly as seen in another one).
Makes me wonder if it’s a facade and he only acts uncaring and heartless to be quirky, or if he’s just the type of guy who has no idea how to handle his feelings if he does have some sort of care left over still.
I would have loved to see the OG No Heart reform, but I also would have loved to see him suffer while being reminded why he doesn’t care anymore. Make that man suffer

Tumblr media
Now, of course, UTM couldn’t exactly make him too dark and violent of a villain like the original. Considering the show is targeted towards younger audiences, and a lot of laws and rules regarding cartoons for children have changed since the 80s, especially in certain regions.
Although, I am still upset about the prepubescent sounding voice change (they didn’t even try) and turning him into an idiot routes that the studio went with. He isn’t that dumb, I mean.. come on.
I can still see why they reformed him though, even if I don’t agree with it.
As a (I think?) preschool show that’s based on helping others and spreading love and caring, yeah. I could have seen it coming from a mile away.
However… I still think they should have fleshed him out a lot more before doing it. Maybe a two or three parter special where they go into detail about his backstory, why he became the way he was, and make him work on fixing the problems he caused instead of automatically making everyone forgive him (my biggest cartoon pet peeve).
• • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Augh I rambled too far from the topic at hand, but- I think if they would’ve kept the Nelvana series going at the time, it could’ve gone two ways.
They either could’ve gone the same route as most shows in the 80s and kept him evil with no other personality or backstory whatsoever. Or they could’ve pulled a Uno Reverse on us and give him a traumatic backstory for the heck of it.
I’m really hoping they do end up bringing him back, but not in UTM. I want to see a new series revolving around him, or a series where he’s the main villain again. Something like MOTU Revelation/Revolution (only example I can come up with) where he gets an actual backstory AND has a reason for being the way he is.

So I was thinking. I think the Genshin Impact fandom (and a lot of fandoms tbh) need to learn that there’s a difference between redemption, and humanization.
Tl;Dr None of the antagonists in Genshin have been redeemed, even if they have backstories and they’re playable.
Spoilers for Genshin, She-Ra, Steven Universe, and AtLA ahead
A complaint I see about some story lines in Genshin is that the game keeps “redeeming” evil characters, and doesn’t just let them be evil, with the exception of La Signora who died before we could get much screen time at all, and will never be playable. But the characters most everyone would call “evil” who are playable, (Childe, Raiden Shogun, and Scaramouche) get quickly redeemed with no consequences for their actions, and are no longer evil characters. And there’s a worry that other evil characters that will be playable are going to get the same treatment.
Here’s my thing, I feel like they will get the same treatment, but none of those characters have been redeemed. At any point. (You could make an argument for Scaramouche but we’ll get there). None of them are even asking for redemption. All of them have been humanized though.
So I feel like the easiest way to do this would be to give examples of redemption and examples of humanization.
Redemption:
The first characters to come to mind are Zuko in AtLA, and Catra in She-Ra.
Zuko did horrible things throughout the first two seasons of AtLA, including a lot of attempted murder/capture, lying, betraying people closest to him, being a general dick even. We know that the reason he’s like this is entirely because of his abusive father, but just having that information doesn’t redeem him as a person. He has to earn that, and he does. He gains the trust of the gang, he shows kindness without expecting anything in return, he throws himself into this fight whole heartedly against the fire nation and the only family/friends he’s ever had aside from his uncle. I feel like I don’t have to go too deep into detail, but you get it right? He actively tries to be a better person and to make good on everyone he’s wronged. The gang and Iroh don’t have to forgive him, but they do, because he earned it. And it’s a “kids” show where forgiveness is kind of a big theme.
It’s a similar situation with Catra in She-Ra. She’s a horrible person. She’s selfish, manipulative, violent, and she tried to destroy the universe for attention. We know why she’s like this, she was horribly abused and manipulated by Shadow Weaver and the Horde. She’s sad, scared, and lonely, but obviously none of this is an excuse or makes her a good person automatically. She doesn’t get a redemption arc until the last season where she sacrifices herself for Glimmer, having absolutely nothing to gain from it. She has to literally become reborn, and much like Zuko she completely devoted herself to fighting the opposite side of this fight she’s been in her whole life because it’s the right thing to do. At no point did she just trauma dump and get the best friends squad and the princesses to immediately forgive her, it took weeks of earning their trust expecting nothing in return. Again, hard work.
Humanization:
I feel like this is where a lot of confusion lies. Especially with the black and white thinking found all over the Internet. “If bad person, than horrible evil monster who kicks puppies” “If good person, than perfect saint of a person has never done anything bad in their life”. That’s just not how reality works, and that’s not how good writing works. If your antagonist is just Satan incarnate, sure that could be interesting to play around, but that has to be the main conflict. Trying to overcome this force of nature.
Great bad guys tend to have interesting motivations, and are fully fleshed out three dimensional characters.
I’ll use a controversial example, but the Diamonds in Steven Universe. They. Are. Not. Good. People. Rebecca Sugar was never trying to make them good people. They do not get redeemed at the end of the show. They do not earn Steven’s or the Gem’s forgiveness. They come to a peaceful solution (because Steven is a pacifist and it’s a kids show) but they’re at no point redeemed.
They are three dimensional though. We find out that all of them are still reeling over the “loss” of Pink, and while their actions have always been hurtful they were always meant to be in best interest for the family. Does that excuse them? No. Impact is always more important than intent, and that’s why they’re the bad guys. At the end of the day and the end of the series, they’re still not welcome in Steven’s life even if they try to be better. The audience can see them as more than just evil cartoon villains, and that makes them interesting as characters, but they’re still bad people.
Another evil antagonist who is humanized and becomes a more interesting and well rounded character, Darth Vader. Stay with me.
Obviously Anakin Skywalker gets “redeemed” at the end of the original trilogy, but it’s obviously very bare bones. It was 1985, and not a great example of a bad guy getting redeemed. However, in the prequels we can see how this literal cartoon villain, dark castle on the side of a volcano, evil character, started as an optimistic, brave, and kind hearted little boy.
Say what you want about the prequels and their writing, but the way they portrayed the downward spiral of Anakin Skywalker was fantastically done if you pay attention and don’t zone out during all the political speeches. We know Darth Vader already, but at the start of the prequels we’re introduced to a literal innocent child. We watch him literally being manipulated and groomed to the dark side by Palpatine, have no outlet to talk through his trauma so the only solution he has is violence, and when he’s at the most scared and desperate he’s ever been, he fully falls into the role of Darth Vader and goes out to murder a bunch of little kids. Little kids the same age and with the same mindset he had at the beginning of the series. Does any of this backstory, trauma, and being a victim of Palpatine’s manipulation make him a good person? No. He’s fucking Darth Vader. He kills babies and tries to drag his own son down the same path as him. It does make him into a more rounded and interesting character though. It makes him human. A terrible human, but still human.
ANYWAY BACK TO GENSHIN IMPACT
Childe, Raiden Shogun, and Scaramouche have all been humanized by the story so far, not redeemed.
Childe is a Fatui harbinger. He actively tried to kill the traveler, and while he felt bad about it (there was a translation error in the English version) tried to kill an entire city of innocent people. He only half heartedly apologized for the attempted murder and just laughed it off. He still doesn’t see what he did as wrong, or anything he does working as a harbinger as wrong. He’s by all standards a bad guy. But, he’s genuinely a kind person. We learn that he’s a loving and sweet big brother who’d do anything for his family. We’re probably going to learn about whatever traumatized the light out of his eyes soon in Fontaine, but he’s never been redeemed of being a murder happy mafia caporegime. He’s still very evil, and probably will be until either he dies trying to save the traveler/Tucer, or realizes that the Fatui are just using him and that taking care of his family is more of a threat than a favor. I have a lot of feelings about this man. But that’s the thing, he’s an interesting, well rounded character even without redemption.
Raiden Shogun has never once apologized or even asked for forgiveness for what she’s done to Inazuma. She doesn’t see her actions as evil, she just sees them as an over correction. She’s barely even able to see her citizens as people because she locked herself away from humanity for 400 years. When we get to know her and her backstory we learn that she has horrible trauma, and everything she’s done has been what she thought was best for Inazuma as a whole. We learn that she’s actually a very kind person who loves sweets and thinks the best solution to a love triangle is everyone dating each other. Does any of this redeem her and make her a good person? No. Very few Inazuma characters forgive her for what she did and the war that came from it. Kokomi is willing to be diplomatic with her, because she knows that’s what’s best for her people, but the second there’s a reason to, her and the rest of the characters effected by Raiden’s actions are ready and willing to throw hands. Will she ever ask for forgiveness or seek redemption? Probably not. But her being more than just the cartoon villain evil robot dictator that the Shogun puppet is, makes her an interesting and well rounded character.
Scaramouche/The Balladeer/Wanderer/Kabukimono/Kunikuzushi/Kuronoshi/Shouki no Kami/Babygirl is the only character so far that I feel like is in his “hey, Zuko here” era. Obviously he’s done plenty of evil things in his life. He murdered several entire families to wipe out a cultural art form because he was petty and hurt. He tried to murder the traveler several times, he helped set the vision hunt decree and war that came from it in motion, oversaw the delusion factory getting even more people killed, tried to become a god, attempting to murder the traveler again and attempting deicide on a toddler. Not to mention, overall, kind of a dick to just about everyone. He even asks “Am I evil?” And Nahida says “Yes.”
Throughout all of 3.1-3.3 we learn his tragic backstory, and how he was lied to and manipulated, and traumatized into going from “sweet and innocent puppet” Kabukimono to the Scaramouche we meet in the beginning of the game. Does any of that abstain him from everything he’s done in the past 400 years? No. But I think where we see the beginnings of a genuine redemption arc is when he decides to help the traveler and Nahida when he has no reason to. The next part of his redemption comes from when he found out the reason everyone he loved died, and the reason he became evil to begin with, was all based on a lie and decided that everyone he’s ever cared about might be saved if he never existed. And of course, after accepting all of his mistakes and the worst most evil parts of himself and still deciding to save the traveler’s life just before getting his vision.
Now, is he a fully redeemed and forgiven character even after all of that? No. Not even after all of that. The traveler is still suspicious of his motives, and doesn’t forgive him for anything. But at the same time, he told them to tell everyone effected by his actions who he is and what he’s done. He’s expecting them to come after him and he’s ready and willing to accept anything coming at him. He’s also been actively being helpful and kind to the rest of the Sumeru cast even when he has nothing to gain from it. Sure, his main reasoning for not hurting people anymore is that he has no reason to, but even if he’d never admit it he’s actively being a better person. He’s still a brat and an asshole to everyone in his life, but that’s just his charm.
Anyway, as far as I’m concerned about future playable antagonists and evil characters (Arlecchino, Dottore, honestly the rest of the Harbingers) I feel like we’re going to get their backstories, and they’ll become fully fleshed out, rounded, humanized characters, but they definitely won’t be redeemed of their evil actions by any means.

Felix and Kagami dating is way too out of the blue that Adrinette dating can't even compare. Kagami went from "You kidnapper!!" To "He's the same as me just socially inept kid!" In less than ten minutes top and I always wonder what the heck is happening. But the last scene where Felix give back Kagami's ring make me wonder if he slipped a command to make her change her mind about him. He's an oportunist thorough and thorough and also despite his claim that creating and destroying a sentimonster is cruel act, he didn't seems to have big moral flop after the red moon incident. So what's the chance he didn't do it, especially if he think it will works in some way?
Yeah like, they speed-ran enemies to lovers so quickly and both their characters suffer for it. It makes Kagami look pretty awful for siding with the guy who betrayed her friend and hurt her so badly, who is the reason their city is in danger, and Kagami goes ahead and lets Felix know her identity? What the fuck Kagami?
And I don't like how Felix is considered to be redeemed just because he's dating Kagami. He hasn't changed, he still justifies himself and doesn't apologize for the hurt he's caused Adrien and Marinette.
And literally, Kagami apparently falls in love with him a few days after he kills her mother in front of her. Sure, he brought everyone back, but he had to be talked into it, and yet she's so chill about trusting and defending him. This all also after he's just kidnapped her violently and admitted to having spent the past few days stalking her. It's played off as endearing because Marinette also does the same thing, and she just goes "you're so bad at social interactions" instead of calling Felix deranged and trying to get away from him. And apparently it just takes Felix giving one hint at a sob story and one speech about Senti-rights to convince her that everyone was wrong about him and that he never did anything wrong and that he was just misunderstood and couldn't express himself. That's some BS if I ever heard any. Kagami with the strong sense of justice who held a grudge against Adrien for not being a good boyfriend (she had the right to hold a grudge, I'm not blaming her for that, just pointing it out) just... instantly forgives Felix and defends him, and agrees with his justifications for betraying Ladybug and the people of Paris for selfish reasons? Kagami, who hates liars and manipulators, goes behind Marinette's back to reveal her identity without her consent to the last person she'd ever want knowing that information. Feligami as a ship thoroughly assassinated Kagami's character in every single aspect, and I hate what they did to my girl so much. The moment she started a relationship with Felix, her character just became so insufferable.
And Felix goes from being a wild card villain to just "sad boy uwu" the moment he meets her, and the writing just starts pretending his negative qualities, like his manipulative ways and his tendency to lie and take advantage of other people don't exist anymore. Because if they acknowledged those, then they'd have to acknowledge that Kagami "I hate liars" Tsurugi would despise him. Their personalities do not click at all, and for them to have any kind of dynamic and to speedrun their relationship, the writers wrote out their qualities that oppose and clash with the other person and just made them so OOC that it would enable them to get together in a few days. Kagami is saying shit about how Gabe and Tomoe won't allow them to "love each other freely" with her whole chest after she's known this guy for less than a week. And like, the way Kagami now just cares about her love with Felix instead of about anyone else around her, especially in the season dedicated to her friendships with others is so... bleh.
And I don't think Felix can be considered redeemed just because he's now just focusing on his obsession with this girl instead of trying to ruin his cousin's life again. All that talk about how he's doing this for Adrien and how he wants to fight for Senti-rights, and it all goes down the drain the moment he meets Kagami. Apparently, those things don't matter to him anymore, because he never mentions or speaks to Adrien ever again, outside of bringing him up as "the boy who Marinette loves." And he's perfectly okay with killing the Senti-projector, so I guess the drive to find freedom and justice for his fellow Sentimonsters was just a silly phase that he gave up on once he found a girlfriend? Okay.
And the implications! Felix just loves her because she's a Sentimonster like him, Kagami just confessed to still being in love with Adrien and he has Adrien's exact face and is similar to Adrien and Marinette (because they are both stalkers apparently). It just seems like their projecting their feelings onto the first person who seems like they meet their expectations instead of liking them for who they really are. Felix doesn't know jack shit about Kagami, and Kagami doesn't know anything about Felix other than that he's a massive jackass, and they are apparently in love less than week later? Sure Jan.
I don't think Felix used her Amok, honestly, but I also can't help but think it makes so much sense as to why Kagami does a complete 180 about him, like, she went from hating his guts to defending him against Ladybug and Chat Noir in less than a few hours. That ain't the Kagami I know, and it would make sense if she had been commanded to do so with her Amok. I used to think that Felix wouldn't do that, at least, but given how willing he was to give Adrien's free will back to Gabriel and how willing he was to kill his Senti-projector, I don't put it past him honestly. He's a massive hypocrite.
I have plenty more thoughts on these two and not enough time to write it all down, but I have written a long critique of Felix and Feligami here, if you're interested. But yeah, they suck lmao.
Thank you for your ask!

Who is the nicest out of the Tails Squad?
Keep in mind that the members I haven't mentioned here are the ones I know nothing about (like STC Tails and Shogakukan's Tails) because I haven't consumed those iterations yet.
Now, let's see here;
AoSTH and SatAM are little guys but they are the squad's certified manipulators. They can be absolute menaces anytime they want. AoSTH will make so much fun of whichever villain makes the mistake of encountering him that the other would regret ever seeing this child
Classic is a sweetheart. He also killed an entire armada of birds by using bombs
Nine won't hesitate to shoot and kill and destroy if he finds an incentive. This child craves violence.
Depending on the matter and his mood, Boom Tails would either be a nice child or the 'gang up to bully this specific adult' child. He won't hesitate to whine and complain when annoyed.
X! Tails is a very nice and helpful fellow. He doesn't hold grudges and even ignores the hurt he feels at possibly being replaced (I swear, I love anime Sonic but he lost a lot of points for ignoring his lifelong best bud in favor of a selfish & over possessive rich boy who just wouldn't leave it). Anyways, that rant aside, he is one of the nicest fellows but he will go full kill mode if sleep deprived and you bother him & there's no Sonic present to reassure him. Also, he is a determined fighter and the captain of a space craft.
Mangey is feral. Unless he gets spooked enough to hide or you're a Sonic, he growls or pounces or scratches or bites
OVA Tails has a temper. Annoy him or upset him in any way and he'd scold back tenfold with a few curses mixed in.
Detective Tails means no harm but he will accidentally find out and reveal your most embarrassing secrets.
IDW Tails has several moods. He's a nice kid if you're a friend, he will gang up with his fellow counterparts to trick people, he will be ready to help you out even in the middle of the night, he has inescapable prisons ready and takes no nonsense when serious, he has camping equipment that's much more complex and dangerous than any regular camping supplies, he will crash a giant shuttle without a warning, he uses the elements of deception and surprise, he will also create blasters with nothing but rusted junk in the matter of barely minutes if given the incentive, is an expert hacker, inherited Sonic's sass and recklessness.
Prime Tails never gets upset unless it's something serious and forgives easily.
Modern is a genius. Gets quite angry and upset when annoyed and pretty much unstoppable when determined. He is a good boy but he banters with Sonic on the daily and has thousands of comebacks and sassy quips in his arsenal. He will tease and annoy someone on purpose if in the mood.
Archie Tails once nearly killed his lifelong best friend and brother because he felt deeply hurt and betrayed over losing his crush to the other (as if romantic crushes are so much greater than familial love 🙄). Also abandoned that person in an alternate future over something I am unable to recall. He is the exact opposite of nice when he gets upset. And it's not too difficult to get him upset.
Smithy is sweet, helpful, kind and skilled. He also has a good eye for all kinds of blades and creates the most expertly crafted weapons. He is probably the nicest person in Camelot.
Going by the stories, Ali has probably allowed 40 beings to be burnt alive with boiling oil. Do not try to attempt anything against him. He is patient and wise but he doesn't fear to inflict the most disturbing horrors on those who he feels deserve it. And people who... OH NO... I am so darn glad rn that Sonic's counterpart in Secret Rings is supposed to be Aladdin and not Qasim! (When I tell you that the Arabian Nights tales were horrific and not for kids, know that I am dead serious.) Just... Don't get on his bad side. If he is given a genuine reason to take someone down, he'd put even Nine to shame with how violent and painful his methods can get.
Sails is a swordsman and a pirate. He might not be the most genius but is definitely among the most skilled in combat. He also enjoys stabbing and slashing and electrocuting people and holds a thirst for thrill & adventure.
Tails Wachowski. Little guy, sweet child, carries highly advanced weapons in his backpack and stole two vehicles in the span of 24 hours. Also hit Knuckles with a car and later let the car fall down a cliff with the echidna still on it. Almost gave their dance fight competitor a heart attack by pulling out life like holograms. Has a cute little, deceptively childish looking laser gun and has a plasma ray blaster in his backpack. Uses the power of puppy eyes to get what he wants every time. 'The baby with a knife' so to speak.
.......
I believe that Prime, Smithy and X!Tails are the nicest ones.

Having thoughts about Ghost. Sort of a imagine here.
Simon's a highly emotionally damaged and traumatized person. He's been through a lot, and I mean a lot lot. I feel like yes, whenever he needs to be, when at work, when needed, he'll be a violent guy. You'll see him crack skulls with bare hands, coldly kill people he need to with no second thoughts. Because that is his work.
He's not emotionally incapacitated, he's unavailable, damaged and distant, it's a consequence. He's a very smart and highly trained man, it doesn't make any sense to me that he can't hold back his emotions especially because he has the type of job you cannot have if you're not emotionally prepared to anything. His anxiety hits when it comes to his personal life, then, there's you.
He won't ever be a threat to you, God, he could never, he wouldn't forgive himself if he by any chance accidentally said something that would hurt you, so he'd NEVER lay a finger on you. Not even a CHANCE.
He will be cruel, mean and hurt you with words sometimes because he's still learning how it is to live a life in which he doesn't need to be tough like his dad taught him to, but he regrets it deeply and it's not on purpose. Physically? He will NEVER get anywhere NEAR of being phisically threatening with you.
Whenever he gets nervous, angry, he wants to withdraw and go away, disappear, not be near you at least till he calms down and there's the catch: not because he feels like he could end up hurting but because he doesn't know how to deal with most of the emotional aspect of his life, and he needs time to relax in order to sit down and talk through. Because talking is not something Simon is used to, so it's hard for him to get to understand what's going through his head and speak it out to you. But he does try, he's not a baby, he's a grown man: he knows he needs to communicate for things to be good between the 2 of you, communication is key.
He won't ever be a danger to you. If we're talking about dark romance (which don't misunderstand me, I do enjoy!) fine, he'll be a different alter of Simon but when it comes to average romance Simon, then that's it to me.
He is going to be a danger to bad people – to people who hurt you, mostly. Because you're a very valuable precious thing to him, let's be honest: he doesn't fall easily. He doesn't allow himself and he's got plenty of reasons to, but he did fall for you so he will protect you at any costs. Won't spare time or resources.
But being dangerous to you? Not a fucking chance.
Tumblr media
this me protecting him from the world even tho he's a tall strong ass self sufficient man and I'm only a 5'1 smol simp
