ros then points out the kingdom and how theyre so locked in cause of her kindness, pili then says that hes more of a loner and ros asks wouldnt he wabt to be part of something

pili then says that ros hasnt been gone through what hes been through and that hes cursed with misfortune, ros then says that hes sorry to pili but points out how shes surrounded by death as well but in a different way, pili then says that its different cause ros is still here but all it takes is a creeper

ros then says that pili should start thinking of the present and that pili should start valuing his comrades instead of thinking things like "if flame dies tomorrow im cursed" as an example, pili then reasons that thats the exact reason that he distanced himself from pangi cause he doesnt want him to die

ros then tries to relate to pili by saying how she feels useless and pili then says that everyone has their own strengths and intelligences and gives him helping sausage as an example, that his building is equivalent to pilis killing and that building is what makes ros ros and that hes not calling ros weak its just that her strength lies somewhere else

ros then says that even after this conversation whatever hapoens will happen and pili agrees and that hes so excited for clown to kill him and ros asks him why hes so excited and pili excitedly says why wouldnt he, clown is the best fighter and hes gonna get beat and hes gonna get humbled and experience ego death

pili then says that its not cause hes a clown fan, its cause he just loves getting humbled and will always fight the strongest player on any server hes in and ros asks hypothetically what would happen if she was the best pvper on the server and pili replied that he would have to go after her

ros then asks pili why hes been targetting her and pili replies that its cause he was just looking for a way to provoke clown, ros then asks if thats really it that he was just targetting her cause of clown and pili replies theres actually more than that and ros asks for a percentage which is

ros theb asked if hes been through therapy and that theres a thing in therapy where the patient reasons out why he wants to kill ppl and asks what he would do if someone killed pangi and he said he would get revenge, ros then asks about bad doing it and pili thinks that thats exactly what bad wants cause of bads actions and that all he wants is his little telenovelas and tells her about bad insinuating that he has a crush on someone cause he made the mistake of saying hes interested in someone and ros asks if thats why bad said that ros should take pili out on a date and pili said yes and expanded on what happened

ros then says that pili desires closeness with someone and that he feels strong emotions amd that he also inspires strong emotions in her (mainly anger and the like) but that while he wants to inspire fear and destruction she wants to inspire hope and protection and that she dislikes pili insinuating shes weak and thats why she keeps retaliating against pili and pili says he didnt even notice that and ros said thats exactly what she meant and pili apologizes then says that he can be too honest or too much of a liar, pili then says to not try to understand him cause of that but ros says that she does understand him

ros tthen says that if theyre gonna continue their rivalry to wait for a week while she continues building the castle which pili was upset about cause he cant wait to get killed and ros says he should make the most of the week and that he should fix things

pili then says that whatever happens in the week is exactly what he wanted and to not worry about him, ros then says that theyll make it a fun thung but also maybe that he shouldnt be killed cause hes on his last life and pili tells her not to worry about it and that they can just kill him if they wanted

ros then kills some mobs and says that death is everywhere and pili says that death doesnt matter until its someone close to you and ros says that pili has done a good job in that respect cause none of the ppl close to him have died yet and pili agrees saying that pangi hasnt died yet then told to ros to be careful about pangi cause hes gone unstable cause of something pili caused

yo YO hello!! :O ok it took me a while to answer this bc i was like "man i want to think on this..." and then i ended up rewatching at Least one and a half season two episodes. (i DO actually like the english dub of rezero for the most part okay...... sue me... HAH)

but okay!!! beatrice and roswaal are characters that i feel like i dont know as well. but i adore both of them for the depth they have - i mean to this day i still feel like i dont 100% understand roswaal (i will eventually i swear. gotta get through all those side stories ljslfj) though i enjoy the absolute duality he has hah between showing he does care for others (LIKE BEATRICE.) vs um. insert all of arc 4 and all the body hopping bc that shit is insane for sure. but as for beatrice and roswaal specifically you put it super well - "Imagine finding out your homie has been chilling by your side all along when you thought theyve been dead for centuries". thats a HILARIOUS way of putting it lajsdlfjs but its true!!!

beatrice in the beginning of her story Basically has this little family with echidna and ryuzu and roswaal—echidna is her mother of course, and ryuzu and roswaal are almost like her siblings. roswaal though—because he has this. Odd relationship with echidna (because shes his tutor and she acts motherly towards him too but also Romantically. its. yeah we all know how messy that is), youd think roswaal and beatrices relationship would skew a little odd, but with what little screentime they have in their early days, ros and beatrice act pretty comfortable with each other? like you could easily compare it to subaru and beatrice—ros likes to tease her and shes a tsundere about it, but theres a clear fondness there!! it really gives off the energy that ros is like beatrice’s big brother? but you know. it doesnt Exactly last because of everything that goes down at sanctuary and in one fell swoop, beatrice essentially loses her three closest companions—ryuzu and ros and echidna—and, as we know, she goes to the forbidden library to wait for “that person”.

its a sad beginning to a story. beatrice thinks shes lost the people shes been closest with, and the people she essentially looks up to. with her personality and the fact that echidna is her mom, she was Absolutely the baby of the group. now shes stuck in a limbo almost, of Waiting. Alone. but—you know, ros starts doing his body hopping thing. and theres a certain detail about this that gets to me, which is—ros Definitely visited beatrice. over and over again. ros’s character wiki says that hes read every book in the forbidden library which. makes sense. he wants knowledge, his dear teacher loved knowledge, theres a convenient library right there connected to his dear teacher thats just in his house, etc etc—but the fact that hes read Every book in that library implies visiting the library Repeatedly.

because ros still stays fond of beatrice over the years— even as beatrice has grown increasingly closed off and abrasive bc of the situation with That Person shes waiting for, it seems like for ros he still sees her as the person he knew then, too. this is Probably added to with the fact that beatrice is an immortal spirit that looks the same no matter how much things change around her, but ros Still continues to think of her fondly time and time again. i think its similar to how he thinks of his teacher and how he wants to bring back the Original. he doesnt want her copies, he wants the person she was when she was alive—the person he remembers. and he remembers beatrice as the person she was when he was in his original body, i think. sweet and well meaning even if she pretends not to be.

for beatrice though—YEAH she thinks ros is dead. long dead, once time passes, and shes just seeing roswaal’s descendants pop up over and over again. its Gotta be haunting, knowing your dear friend is dead and has been for a while, but his children keep returning to visit and they all look like him. they all have his name. they all sound so similar and im Sure that they even act like theyre a little familiar with her. im sure that for beatrice its like seeing a Very Insistent ghost—and she most likely acts aloof with all of roswaal’s incarnations bc the emotions that would bring up would be a bit T^T overwhelming, probably. we see her act distant with roswaal through arc 2, for example—shes likely acting this way bc of 1. the aforementioned Haunting feeling of seeing your dead friend’s descendants and being So Close to your friend yet so far and 2. being distant with said descendants probably makes it less painful bc—no pesky emotional attachment when theyll be eventually replaced by another ros and 3. beatrice thinks these are all different people each time. as much as they look and sound and act like HER roswaal, theyre not her roswaal. so, in a way, both her and roswaal focus on “the original”… ros wants the original echidna. beatrice wants the original roswaal, not any of his descendants.

and another thing thats interesting is that when roswaal reveals the body hopping to beatrice at the end of arc 4–that he IS the original roswaal she knew—beatrice and roswaal look at each other and finally reunite and the anime specifically emphasizes it with this:

as you may already be familiar with, the anime uses this motif of characters looking at each other and Seeing the other person in their eyes to show that they TRULY see each other for who the other person is. and yes, of course ros sees beatrice because hes known her all this time for the past four hundred years. but beatrice? the reflection in her eye is roswaal’s original appearance, just as she remembered it. shes making the connection between her roswaal and all the other roswaals shes seen throughout her life and the fact that theyre all the Same Person. beatrice and ros foil a lot—beatrice looks the same, but shes undergone the drastic change of finally leaving the forbidden library. roswaal has tried to look the same over time, but hes also changed bodies and identities over time for his consistent goal of trying to bring back his teacher—beatrice’s mother. they have the similar weight of four hundred years of various Pains and seeing various people come and go and theyve both been Deeply affected by the same person (echidna of course) who has driven their actions for so long. theyre simultaneously older and younger than they look—beatrice still acts like the child she appears to be, but shes also simultaneously matured bc of her long lifespan and Suffering. roswaal, too, but hes still the same young man chasing after the woman who saved him physically and mentally. theyre two immortal characters who Now know that theyve been so near each other this whole time. even if beatrice didnt realize, ros was Right There. right near the forbidden library.

i think its interesting that its after 99% of arc 4 that ros chooses to tell beatrice that its always been him, the original ros, this whole time. im not entirely sure on Why roswaal waits until this moment, but i think its because now beatrice has left the forbidden library for good and shes Let Go of That Person. shes like a butterfly spreading her wings. and im sure with her distance towards roswaal’s various incarnations as well, she wasnt Exactly open to hearing roswaal out until Now. because now that shes a free and changed person and the two of them are finally seeing their echidna’s tomb, roswaal knows that she’ll hear him out now. he even talks to her about how she got out of the library too, and he iirc either assumes or asks if its bc subaru made beatrice his number one—but beatrice replies that no, thats not why. its bc she intends to make him her number one. which is something that roswaal can see and agree with bc echidna is his number one.

i think its also interesting that beatrice has ros kneel down so she can hit him, and bc ros has. an a bit of a Terrible image of himself and Knows hes done bad things, he assumes its bc of the terrible things hes done in both season 1 and 2. but beatrice replies that no its bc he burned down the forbidden library!! and i think its like. shes ultimately glad to have her dear friend back, and when you spend four hundred years with someone, thats a whole kind of Closeness of its own. and also just. she knows that roswaals lost already. but hah she had to get her bit of justice in for him destroying the library—bc even though she was mentally trapped in there waiting for That Person and wanting to die, it was still kind of her home. for four hundred years. and her mother was the one who put her there.

she also says later that ram has terrible taste in men which. HAH. well beatrice is aware shes been near ros for four hundred years and ros’s actions have hurt subaru especially, who beatrice is now close with. but i also really like that line bc its giving little sibling telling the person crushing on their sibling that they have shit taste akdndndn but no yeah beatrice is aware of roswaals misdeeds. shes aware about the damn body hopping. for crying out loud. but shes overlooking it a bit which is fascinating!!! not entirely sure why (could be just bc shes close with ros therefore she overlooks it near automatically bc of that) but i think the relief of my dear friend was here by my side all this time won out for sure!! we all know immortality is inherently lonely, and the inevitable loss that comes with life is Dialed Up bc of ur long lifespan, but now beatrice knows that she wasnt 100% alone.

roswaal was there for all those four hundred years. they are straight up the ONLY two people who can understand each other with their extremely specific shared history + immortality + complicated relationships with echidna parallels.

so. um. tldr: you know that trope of a character duo where one character is immortal and the other character keeps trying to find character 1 in each of their different lives/incarnations? HAH ros and beatrice are a weird version of that!!!

oh my god yes. im just kinda gonna start dumping thoughts here with no organization im so sorry but here we go

so first of all i know i will never get this but my ideal rose ongoing would be her working mostly alone but sometimes teaming up with people bc she doesnt like to stay with anyone for long but she DOES work with other people when she needs them

shes been in gotham for a while so id prob keep her there and have her team up with other ppl in gotham every once in a while bc. i want her to. i just think gotham is a good place for her because it is a city of the most stubborn people in the world so she would fit right in

id prob have her do kind of the same thing she was up to in Fresh Hell and taking down various crime rings bc i dont really see her caring much about the costumed villains, not to mention there are a hundred other vigilantes in gotham for the Big Bads

also having her in gotham kind of opens up so many roads SO. gotham vigilante teamups <3 first things first i feel the need to say her and bruce would not have any need to interact and i dont think either of them would really want to fhdkjfhdsf like rose is trained and mostly doesnt kill people so i dont think batman would really care what shes doing until she does something bad, and rose wouldnt really like batman (for various reasons that i wont go into rn) so they would kinda just be doing their own thing

ANYWAYS in general i think that the idea of rose teaming up with bats is sooooo funny bc most of the bats are very meticulous planners and make whole schemes for everything they do. while 90% of the time roses plan is "im gonna go in and start punching people and see what happens" so i think she would give whoever shes working with an aneurysm and thats kind of hilarious to me

i want her to team up with steph and cass for homoerotic reasons because they all have so many narrative parallels, ESPECIALLY with cass so i need them to team up again <3 idk what they would be up to besides getting on each others nerves but i need it so bad

as for slade. i think that their relationship is best written when it is really complicated for her :) so i need her to fall back into the cycle of going to him and looking for his approval and being constantly disappointed and angry when he refuses to give it to her :)

Lys: hm, lys is a bit difficult in that matter. their ideal partner would be someone the queen would approve of, but they would never make that kind of request to her. on that note, they would like their partner to not cause scenes or bring any problems with them, have basic manners and plus points if they have a stable income. a person that can take care of themselves and stand on their own feet? lys is on their knees with a ring in hand

Holly: a person that can keep up with her and make her smile. holly is a big fan on humor, and while she likes to make others laugh, she finds it way easier to laugh at someone elses jokes. she just really likes being happy! and if someone manages to make her feel jolly all the time, she would very much call them their ideal partner. also someone who is a bit more lighthearted in life and doesn't take much to serious. holly just wants to have a partner she can enjoy her life with

Elli: since he is a bit of an emotional mess, he would appreciate a partner, that isn't too bothered with his outbursts or sudden lack of. an ear that listens to him vent and reassures him that what he does is the right thing - elli doesnt expect more from his ideal partner. after all, if they accepted to date someone without ever seeing their face and body, how could he have the nerve to demand more?

Irydion: oh, anyone that entertains her delusions suspicions and is ready to help her fight. she is sure that they are getting followed? their partner must be ready to keep watch with her through the entire night. and someone just acted reaaaally suspicious? it's good cop bad cop time! irydion also really would expect her ideal partner but be an adept fighter, since she wouldnt want them to fall behind! a partner in crime if you could say so... but of course she would never commit any!!!..

Junius: are they pretty and make head turn? do they make his head turn? then they just might be his ideal partner! well, more of his ideal type... but besides that, and if he would look for someone to really connect with, then i guess he expects them to be reaaaallyyy accepting of the person he has been and still is. but also be able to be the more mature and down-to-earth out of the two, and get some stupid ideas out of his head that would bring him trouble. it's not like he enjoys being rescued, but knowing there is someone who will? it's... a nice thought. oh, and they have to be as much of a fan of physical touch like he is.

Random story idea i had a dream about and might write as a small project

I cant fully remember all that happens in my dreams so i generally dont write this stuff down cause they are too cut up for me ro remember why it was so interesting. This time tho it just seems like a great writing prompt that i might have fun with.

I remember a betelgeuse esc character as the "antagonist". More just a demon having fun doing his job. I also remember the first setting he starts the characters off in as this old pub in looking place kinda. Very brown and about 3 longish tables some cupboards and this big *seaches a pic*

This sort of thing but it also looks like it vould be some sort of window if it were outside. It had doors instead of the clock aswell and he would come out from within it. There was also a clock within the doors i think or something of the sort. From there things get super distorted as they go through sometimes dangerous and generally time bending trials till they finally get back to the same room. When they get back there is food on the tables, but one strict rule he placed at the beginning was to not eat unless it was explicitly given. He never tells what the consequences would be for this. After a second he comes back gives each a specific food that personifies each of them and how they went through the trials and one stands out for some reason i dont remember. He possesses this character and makes them go through a few more little things to get her back and eventually they leave. This happens annually for the next 3 years. The third year things go beyond his control. Before there had generally been a safety net. He never wanted to truly hurt this family and grew to like them. A bit too much for his bosses liking. His boss basically sets a ton of dangerous eel like huge flying creatures on them and he has to try his best to keep them from dying without making it too obvious. His boss gets mad when he succeeds and he gives a last farwell to the family as he lets them leave. The family doesnt realize hes gone for good and when the same time next year comes around they are confused to where their demon antagonist is. They had always seen him as an annoying villain not realizing the safety net that he had put up for them and were only slightly bothered to not have their yearly ritual as they couldn't help but admit it was quite fun family bonding. All exept for the one girl who had gotten that different dish. She had grown to be just as fond of the demon as he had of them and was very concerned that he didnt show. She always knew about his saftey nets and even sometimes had some fun playing around with his games. She manages to get her family to at least try and figure out why he was missing but in the end her and her father only get far enough to finding the place he generally takes them empty and abandoned. All but one lone peice of food (probably an apple). Her dad leaves but she stays and eventually seems to almost get pulled in by this apple. She goes to take a bite but the demon restraints her and gets pretty pissed off. His boss then shows up and decideds since he decided not to do his job this year that she would do it for him. They get thrown into an extremely dangerous game where they are both basically just yelling at eachother the entire time for being stupid. In the end they both almost die while trying to save eachother till the boss just gets fed up with them both. The boss seemingly manages to kill the girl but in reality just separated her from the demon and he no happy. She continues to put the girl through trials as he is basically acting like a toddler in a rage room. She begins to realize that he took a liking to this girl because of how she is able to see through his tricks and eventually trick him. The boss then gives her the apple and says that if she'd like her family tradition to continue she could eat the apple, but if she does then she becomes a demon aswell and must take part in the demons trickery and illusions on the same day every year and any other times they are scheduled. She then gets the info that the reason he was in trouble was because he kept grabbing the same family over and over without killing or tricking a single one into eating an ungifted food and becoming a demon. She eats the apple the boss reveals to her demom that she is still alive and he is pretty livid about all of this. In the end shes allowed to go back home to her old life, well at least her family since she opts to stay with the demon cause no rent or taxes, as long as she never tells her family about any of this. Wouldnt be fun if she did 😈

Idk why this kinda turned into a love story but yeah everything after the first 3 years was come up with after the dream and while typing this so thats kinda on me and im a bit mad at myself for it. Rn tho you can interpret their relationship however youd like. Thats all i have for now and i dont actually know if imma do anything with it just thought id share it here for organizational purposes

Ha Giang loop day 3:

Waking up that day made me realize that this was the last day of the motorbike tour. And it made me a but sad. Never have I haver thought that a motorbike trip could be that much fun. So after breakfast we gor ready to leave to the final destination of our trip. A hidden cave. And let me just say that was an adventure. The other tour guides do not bribg anyone there. Why? Because it is way off the main road and it gets super steep and narrow. So after a 20min ride in that style we arrived at a little hut where an old guy was living. He gave us some plastic slippers and wearing these we started our little adventure. It was a very muddy and slippery path and our easyriders made fun of how bad we were hiking.. but to be fair they are used to doing this in these slippers. At some point we took them off and walked barefoot. My easyrider hat to hold my hand most of the way because it was extremely slippery.

And at some point my sportspants got stuck in a branch and got ripped. So now I need to figure out how to sew this back together. Thank god my mom gave me a sewing class for my birthday. But all of this was worth the little hike. We arrived at a really cute cave with lots of light coming through. We got some pictures but it does not look as cool as it did in real life.

And now to the "fun" part of that day.. because it would be boring if everything just would go smootly right? On our way back to the motorbikes I gor bitten in my foot by something in the water. It started to burn a lot and I gor scared that it mighr have been a snake or so.. Naema told me that there are no poisonous snakes or spiders around and that it probably just was an insect.. our easyriders didnt really understand what I was saying so I panicked for a moment.. but with lots of cold water it got better. And then we headed back. And right when we wanted to leave Naemas easyrider told us that her motorbike had a flat tire.. so they tried to fix it but couldnt. So she drove away and my easyrider told us to get on the bike.. the 3 of us. Apparently there wasnt another spot to out all of our feet on so I was sitting behind the easyrider and Naema was behind me.. and I had my feet on the thingies while I was holding Naemas legs up in the air.. that was an intense workout for about 25 minutes.. and not on a main road.. it was the way back through the forest/coubtryside with the narrow steep roads.. what an adventure.

When we were back at the main road we had to get off and he left to find the other easyrider. And about 15min later he picked us up again and drove us to a repair service. About 20min later we were abel to get back on the road again :) actually such a fun way to end this trip.

When we arrived back at the hostel we were again the only tourists there. I dont know how we managed to do that. But the owner was super friendly and gave us the option to take a shower and get ready for our night trip to CatBa.

Before taking the bus we decided ro check out the restaurant of Naemas easyrider and support her business. Her Restaurant seemed to be her living room that had a front area with a kitchen and some tables. We sat down waited for her to prepare us some soup. Next to me there were 2 cats. A baby cat that was walking around everywhere and even jumped on our table. And then another cat that was chained to another table barely able to move. I felt so bad.. It broke my heart to have to see this.

We thought it would be without a cabin.. appafently it doesnt matter what you book. You will always end up in a different bus. And ww gor so lucky. It was a similar bus to last time. So we gad our own cabin to sleep in. And it was also the only company that goes directly to CatBa. Usually the buses run through Hanoi, then you change and at the port you change again.. so we gor extremely lucky :)

So whenever you take a sleeper bjs in Vietnam be prepared that kts not gonna be the bus you booked. You can get really lucky or not..

"Darling! It was absolutly hilarious." Loki laughted looking down at you.

"It was not and you know that very well Loki!" You said reaching up pulling a twig from your hair. You and Loki had decided to go out and ride since it was a pretty spring day and there was nothing else to do.

"Come here and let me help you." He pulled you to a stop so that he could help pull leaves and twigs from your hair. "You should have held on tighter." He smiled pulling the last of it from yojr hair.

"You should mot have slapped her tonmake her run off, Mr. Mischief." You said playfully smacking him on the arm.

"Watch yourself my dove." He warned stalking over to you.

"Oh what are you going to do about it Mr. Trickster?" You laughed pulling up you dress so you could take a few steps back. "This whole prowling thing doesnt intimidate me like it does your other fair maidens." You laughed loudly. He stopped and stared at you.

"My Lady y/n for you to think there are other besides you I would rather spend my time with." He placed a hand on his heart. "Why, you are absolutly right." He took off after you while you squealed with delight and ran away.

You ran from him up one of the paths that lead between the orchard and the castle walls. There were hidding spots all through there were the two of you use to hid when you were younger, the tall bushes being the perfect hidding spot to keep out of view from him. As you two chased and played you didnt realize there were two others observing.

Thor and Frigga warches from the balcony of her quarters as the sounds of screaming and laughing rose to them.

"How long do you think it will take for them to realize how in love they truly are?" Thor turned to his mother.

"Son, they have been doing this same song and dance now since before they were teenagers. Sometimes it takes a while for somethingblike that to become obvious." She answered leaning onto the rail.

"It is very obvious to others." Thor was happy that Loki had you but he knew that his brother wanted more he could tell by the way his eyes would light up when you were around.

"Though it is obvious to us it may not be as obvious to them. They are simply best friends that spend every hour of every day together." She sighed. She had taken you in and had let you start training with the other ladies working on how to be a princess.

"I dont understand allmother why I should start these. I am not fit to be a princess." You stated after your first class.

"But one day you will be. You may even rule over the kingdom." She said with a knowing smile.

"Thor, call for your brother please, it is time to start preparing for the banquet tonight." She placed her hand on his shoulder and gave a final look down to the garden where you and Loki where laughing loudly after he had caught you.

"Yes mother." Thor walked off.

"Loki! Mother wanted to let you know its time to start gettkng ready for tonight." Thor yelled through the garden trying to find the two of you.

"Ah, Lady Y/N, will You be joining the festivities tonight?" Thor bowed to you.

"Yes, I do hope you save a dance for me, will you Thor?" I asked smiling up at the blonde prince.

"As long as Loki doesn't stab me for it, I would love nothing more Lady Y/n." He took your hand and kissed the top of it.

"I shall see you both later." You curtsied and walked away.

"Brother," Thor smiled placing a hand on his brothers shoulder. "Does my eyes deceive me or could you possibly have a crush on Lady y/n?"

Loki moaned looking at Thor. "For the thousandth time, I do not have a crush on her. She is my best friend, someone I can talk to. Vent to when everything in the castle is just to much."

"Then I guess it would not bother you to bad to know that Fandral has asked if she would be attending tonight." This caused Loki to stumble slightly. "Said that if she wasnt escourted by anyone he could possibly have a chance to 'get to know her tonight'."

"Y/n wouldnt give that oaf the time of day much less attend anything with him. She has more class than that i dare say." Loki rolled his eyes.

"Well he hasnt asked her yet. Saod he figured he would wait till tonight and just meet her there. Said he couldnt wait to see just how pretty she looked." Thor gave Loki a sode ways glance and smirked.

"She can do so much better than him. She has better taste in book, though I doubt that he can even read," he tutted, "more grace, she is a wonderful listener, and he cant even dance that well." Loki stopped in front of his chamber doors.

"Loki, is that jealousy that i am sensing from you?" Thor raised an eye brow.

"By Norns, no Thor. It is not. I simply worry that she will be stuck with him the rest of the night and not be able to get away from him." He opened his door and walked inside his room. His heart was pounding, he did feel jealous. He was jealous that the time he would normally be spending with you would be spent with someone else. The only smart thing for him to do was to get ready and meet you.at your quarters so that he could escort you there and keep Fandral away from you. Of course time wouldnt work in his favor that night.

When you had arrived at your chambers you noticed a box with a note on top of it with Thors messy handwriting.

Lady y/n, I decided to take the liberty and pick out a simple dress for you for tonight. Though I realize that you must already have one but when I had seen this one I knew that i had to get it for you. I know the one you chose must be just as beautiful as you are i would greatfully appreciate it if youncould wear this one.

You rolled your eyes at thw thought of Thor picking out a dress for you, red and gold, he is by no means quarting you butnhe would do that type of thing just to get under Loki s skin.

When you opened the box the first thing you noticed was a beautiful golden chain that you assumed would go around your head, with an emerald that would sit lightly between your eyes. You removed more of the paper and noticed the dark green hues from the dress, when you pulled it from the box you noticed that the skirt hit midthight and the sleeves had cuts in them the material hanging from your shoulders to the ground. Next to the box was yet another note feom Thor.

Just go with it and lets see how you like it, the matching shoes are shoved under your bed. Dont worry thank me later by dancing with me.

You could see his face in your mind, picture him winking at you. You would surly kill him for this, or at least step on his feet.

After you finished pulling your hair half up and half down with a few braids falling from the side and finished your makeup you took a deep breath and stepped out of the door. You didnt understand why you were nervous but you were, its wasnt like you had never wore green before but this time it was different, this time there was nothing but green. It looked as if you were trying to say something.

You had always liked Loki, you has been friends since you were kids. Loki was your best friend, he was kind, caring, giving, compassionate in things that he truly cared about. You could talk to him about anything and he would listen, what you loved more than anything isnthat when he was with you all of his guards were down, you were the only one that got to see that side of him. You knew in your head though that he would see it as a compliment from his best friend as he sanced the night away with numerous other girls vying for his attention.

"You look....lovely?" Fendrel glanced at you as you walked into the dinning hall. "Might I be lucky to have a dance before you are snagged away by one of the princes?"

"Of course you may." You smiled holding your hand out to him. "You have always been a good lead Fandrel."

He took you spinning you onto the dance floor were some couples parted to make room for the two of you. He placed his hand on your lower back and pulled you closer to him. "You are quite a beautiful woman Lady Y/n, any man is lucky to be able to spin you around the floor." You blushed looking away from him, as you scaned the room you noticed Thor and Loki quietly talking to themselves. Loki looked handsome in his royal outfit, black and gold elegantly intertwining woth each other causing the emerald green to pop and to being ojt his eyes.

"Honestly brother, if she had planned on coming with him why did she have to wear my color? She knows by now what that stated." Loki rolled his eyes looking back to you and Fandral twirling around the dance floor.

"Maybe she didnt think much about it. You do realize that it is simply a color? There are many others here wearing it also." Thor said grabbing two glasses of wine and handing one to Loki.

"You truly are an idiot if you that she just so happened to pick out something like that, that just so happened to be my color. She wanted to make a statement." He handed his glass back to Thor and walked down the few steps leading to where you were dancing not noticing the small smile on Thors face.

"You know you are just as mischievous as your brother." Frigga came to stand beside him causing him to jump.

"Mother, I have no idea what you are talking about."

"Of course you dont son, just be careful, you could possibly be playong with fire on this one. Once they find out it was you setting this all up there no telling what they might do." Thors face dropped at the thought of the two of you teaming up aginst him.

After a long weekend, which included Carlos eating too much sugar and running around with a ghost bassist, and catching his daughter with her ghost boyfriend, Ray Molina rubbed his tired eyes as he made his way to his desk. He loves his kids more than anything in the world, but he definitely wasn't prepared for them to be close friends with 3, not 1, but 3 ghost rockstars. It was a lot of work to say the least plus he had no clue where the boundaries laid with this sort of thing. Should he be ok with it? Should he let his kids be so attached to entities that don’t exist in reality? 

He wasn’t sure. But, if there was one thing Ray was sure about, it was that this is the happiest he had seen his kids since his wife passed away. Especially Julie. And that was probably all the doings of one particular ghost: Luke Patterson. 

He had known that Luke and Julie shared chemistry; He saw it on stage almost every weekend. But, he didn’t know that they had acted on that said chemistry. He thought it was just some harmless flirting and songwriting. But, boy, was he wrong about that. Because just the other night, he caught his daughter and the ghost guitarist on top of the grand piano in the studio engaging in some not-so-rated-PG-13 activities. 

Ray had been prepared to deal with that one day. After all, his daughter is 16; that in itself calls for hormones and drama. But, what he wasn’t expecting, was it to happen with someone who isn’t human. 

Ray sighed as he sat down at his desk with his cup of coffee. Besides the challenges that occurred this weekend, he has a lot to catch up on work-wise this morning. So much so, that he didn’t even notice the piece of paper that laid out in front of him. 

Ray raised his eyebrow as he picked it up in his hands. It wasn't his handwriting that’s for sure, he could actually read his handwriting, and he definitely didn’t remember putting it there. 

Dear mr. molina, 

First of all, thank you for being chill about this. I know you werent exactly expecting youre daughter to fall in love with a ghost; neither was i to be honest with you. 

Oh, so that’s what this is. A letter from Julie’s ghost boyfriend. Add that to the list of things Ray Molina wasn't prepared to handle. As much as he was caught off guard, Ray found himself chuckling at the last sentence (that and the incorrect use of the word “you’re”). At least they were on the same page on one thing.

And just a warning before i begin: i havent written an essay in 25 years so you know what youre in for. But i juet want to say, i love youre daughter. She-she’s my brightest burning star-literally. She’s like my sun, without her i wouldnt be here. I wouldnt be playing music or exist the way i do. And she makes me feel alive agaon. I know this might be a bit too personal but i felt a heartbeat when i kissed her the other day. That hadnt happened before. Mr molina, i just want ro love your daughter the way she loves me, but even more. I just want to show her how much power and talent she has and how beautiful she is. She doesnt believe me  most of the time but im going to make damn sure that she does one day. I’ll keep that promise to yiu. So yeah, i love your daughter. And i hope you’ll let me love her back.

Ray chuckled again, except this time, there were tears that went along with it. He knew his daughter had this incredible amount of love in her heart for everyone around her, but he would never have guessed that she had the capacity to pass it on to a ghost and for a ghost to reciprocate it. 

Noticing the tears that had dropped on the letter in front of him, Ray wiped them away from his cheek with the palm of his hand. Before today, before this letter, Ray Molina had a lot of uncertainties about this relationship. What kind of person (ghost?) Luke was, what his intentions were, and how he could allow this behavior when he didn’t exist in the real world. 

That wasn’t the case anymore. If this letter wasn’t enough to show that, then the tears that were now blurring the messy black ink, would say it all. Ray stood up from his desk then, tears still brimming at his eyes. Luke had asked for his blessing, now he's on a mission to grant it wholeheartedly. 

But, what Ray Molina didn’t know as he walked out of his office, was that the ghost he was looking for had been behind in front of his desk the whole time, crying just as much as he was.

Hi! So kind of a random question but I have recently started reading the bible again and there are honestly some things that make me feel stressed even though I know they shouldn’t but like when it says in Timothy how women should not teach men or have authority and how we will be saved through childbearing- but what if we don’t have children and women do have authority in today’s world - I am a more traditional woman but honestly this kind of made me feel quite upset and angry. Like also God doesn’t actually care as much about me as he does about men :/

Okay this is kind of a multifaceted issue, but I will try to keep this as clear and concise as I can.

For starters, God does care about you. I say this with certainty. It doesn’t matter what your gender is. He loves you.

Men and women are different in role, but equal in value. This is a phrase I’m gonna have to kindly ask that you pound into your head because it’s the truth. Remeber it. Never let this truth escape you. It’s a phrase you’ll hear a lot when discussing biblical manhood and womanhood because it’s true and it’s also something we often forget.

Both roles are valuable. There are many things that need to be taken care of in life and in different ways, and God has designed men and women differently for the exact purposes of fulfilling these different needs.

Women do not have authority over men, no, but wash out of your brain any image you have of men bossing around women and using them as footstools. This is not what authority and leadership means. That image in your brain is a worldly understanding of such things. Biblical leadership is servitude. It requires sacrificial love to be done and be done rightly.

I’m going to use the family unit as an example because it’s the easiest way to see how these different roles play out and work together. In a marriage, men are called to leadership and women to submission. Okay, but what does that mean? What does that look like? A man should always be putting the need of his family before his own. He should protect his family and provide for his family and consider what is best for them. He is not a dictator; he is a husband. Yes, he has the final “authority” and the wife is to follow her husbands lead (as long as it doesn’t cause her to sin), but a godly husband is truly and honestly putting what is best for the family above his own desires. And he is to love his wife in the same way that Christ loved the church. He is to love her up to laying his life down for her. This is his sacrifice to the family. In turn, the wife submits to her husband. It is her sacrifice to the family. You see, it’s not about the worldly definition of love. This is about biblical love. True love. Sacrificial love.

Women, by nature, are far more nurturing than men. We just are. And it goes hand in hand with our biological design to have children and care for them. Which is why so many women long to get married and have children. That is how many women fulfill that natural need to nurture. Which, leading to my next point, is kind of how I always interpreted the verse. It’s not saying that women must have children to be saved (obviously not because that goes against the gospel). I think it’s just saying that through fulfilling their basic roles as a woman and embracing their femininity, they will be sanctified (more or less).

That is not to say that you must have children or that you must get married. You are fully a woman regardless of your relationship status. And you can fully embrace your femininity regardless of your relationship status. I want that to be clear. Because your femininity is who you are at your core. Embrace biblical womanhood — it’s who God designed you to be regardless of what happens in your life.

Both masculinity and femininity have their strengths and weaknesses and men and women each have their own roles that work in accordance with that, but they are both valuable. A woman not exercising authority over men doesnt make her role less valuable or her person less valuable. To suggest that she is viewed as less or that her role is lesser is actually a very worldly view, and actually places value only on the roles for men while completely disregarding the roles for women. Women are valuable and they do valuable work for the Lord as the people God designed them to be.

Now, to tackle the Bible issue. I’m going to be real with you: the Bible is offensive. It tells us we’re sinners. It tells us we’re wrong. On top of that, it can be very confusing. But we need to let the Bible change our worldview. If we have a certain idea or opinion that clashes with the Bible, we need to be able to sit back and acknowledge that we are the ones who are in the wrong. And we need to let the Bible speak to us and correct our thinking. So, trust me, we’ve all been there. We’ve all been through it. There are times where it just doesn’t make sense or you really wish that it said something else so you wouldn’t have to change your own thinking or actions. We’re very comfortable in our own sin and our own idea of what is “right” sometimes. We don’t like to be disturbed. But we must die to ourselves and live for Christ. And we must not lean on our own understanding.

I hope this help cleared some things up. It got a little longer than I expected. I apologize. But, as I already said, it’s kind of a complex issue and we could go on numerous rabbit trails with this. But hopefully I managed to help give you some clarity or comfort. I just want to encourage you to stay in Scripture and to keep seeking Truth. You are on the correct path. I know it’s hard and confusing sometimes, but you just have to keep pushing through and lean on Christ. If you’re interested, Voddie Baucham has done numerous presentations about biblical manhood and biblical womanhood. I believe he tackles these social issues about better than anybody to be honest. And don’t ever be afraid to reach out!

'good luck, love' logan calls after him as patton marches up to romans room

patton knocks on romans door and he DOES plan to be stern, but when roman opens the door and pouts at him and groans 'what am i doing wrong now?!' patton just cant bring himself to reprimand him. the poor kiddo is just experiemnting with this new headspace after all! its not his fault

so patton assures him he didnt do anything wrong, but could roman please turn the music down as its upsetting vee.

he holds back a gasp when he sees roman's face turn very grumpy and sees romans eyes go glossy with tears - again. 'everythings always for vee! i literally just wantt to listen to my music, dad!' roman yells

patton winces and compromises by telling roman he can listen to his music as loud as he wants if he uses his headphones, but otherwise on the speaker he has to turn it down

roman huffs and throws himself into his room to grab his headphones and throw a pointed glare at patton as he turns the headphones volume up to the max.

patton smiles and gives him a thumbs up then goes back downstairs - pausing in the hallway to give himself time to breathe deeply and rub at his eyes tiredly - but when he returns to the living room and lifts vee into his lap and explains to logan how he got ro to turn the music off, logan growls in frustration

'patton thats a terrible idea, its going to damage his hearing!'

patton counters tiredly 'lo its only for today it wont be permanent'

'you're encouraging him to form a habit!' logan yells, clearly on a short fuse today

baby vee starts whimpering and wriggling in her papas lap, meanwhile patton is trying to cradle him and keep him from wiggling to the floor while looking at logan incredulously

'excuse me, i am not encouraging any of this behaviour!' he argues back

logan just shakes his head as if he has no time for this. 'im going up to tell him to turn it down'

patton feels a bubble of hot frustration swell in his chest. 'logan for goodness sake if you do that he's going to be even more upset!'

and that was louder than patton had intended because now vee is fully crying, and patton hurriedly apologises and shushes her but it does nothing to stop the tears

logan rubs his face harshly with his hands feeling a headache coming on. 'well he will just have to deal with that emotion, won't he?!'

he goes up to romans room ignoring pattons hushed protests

when logan knocks and receives no answer he peeks into the room and roman glares at him for coming in, he has to SHOUT above the music to be heard 'your dad and I would like you to - Your dad and i w- TURN IT DOWN, ROMAN!'

then roman FINALLY takes his hesdphones off and yells right back 'why are u yelling at me mom?!'

and logan is so TIRED. 'to get you to hear me over your damn music! turn it down, roman, youre going to damage your hearing!'

at that roman goes D:< and instead of turning the volume down he turns off the music COMPLETELY and shoves his headphones off his head and throws them and his phone onto his beanbag

and logans like oh god not again because when roman looks back at logan he has angry tears in his eyes for the FIFTH time that day and he sends a wicked glare to logan before flopping down on his bed facefirst

'mmphfaphmfamhph!!!' roman yells into his pilow

logan braces himself, takes a deep breath, and says calmly 'roman i cannot hear you if you speak into your pillow. please sit up and say that again'

roman pushes himself up from his mattress, angry tears overspilling from his eyes and running down his red cheeks 'YOU NEVER LET ME DO ANYTHING FUN!' he yells, furious

logan is interanlly like roman.. yes we do... PLEASE for the love of GOD, CALM DOWN

but outwardly its calm. besides the twitch of his eye. 'i hear your concern roman, but i cannot speak to you civilly if you do not offer me the same level of respect. now can we please take a deep breath, lower our voices, and speak like adults about what is bothering you?'

and instead of doing any of that, roman just throws himself back onto his mattress and screams into his pillow , louder this time so logan can hear the pleasant message from his son:

'F*CK! OFF!'

logan is DONE with patience and maturity so he simply shouts 'FINE!' and leaves and forgoes pattons worried questions to march out of the door and go on a walk to cool down because he doesnt want his family to see him so angry

then the next day when logan has a migraine oncoming and patton has heavy bags under his eyes and virgil is only semi verbal, roman comes down to the breakfast table with a spring in his step and practically singing good morning to everyone

and when patton delicately asks how roman feels he responds very confidently 'I'm great! :D this middlespace thing really helps me relax! :D'

it wont always be like that they just need to figure out how to interact with teen roman to get him to listen to their concerns and strike more of a balance, this is romans rebelious experiemental phase of middlespace where hes trying to figure out how this headspace works and how it can help him

The crew wakes up, finally on day two!

Virgil throws a rock at Logan for not waking him up like he promised he would. Logan promises not to trick him like that again. This does not last.

Virgil eats another Sorbillis fruit. The other three try to tell him not to, but he’s not having that.

Virgil and Roman spar, so Roman can learn to use his sword~! They continue to flirt throughout, but Roman does learn a few things. He still needs more training, though.

They take a break, and just then, Amaryllis calls!

She and Roman share a plethora of “I love you”s, and Amy warns Ro to look out for Vampires before cutting off the call. 

Roman is confused, but so elated his True Form slips out! Logan and Patton get a good look at him, and then they pack everything up to start on the road again.

Virgil reveals that he didnt know it had been 2 years since he last saw Remus and Dee (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8)

While in the back of the wagon, Logan gives Virgil and Patton a lesson on how Magic works, and what Wild Magic Surges are!

After the lesson, Logan casts Find Familiar to summon his mother, Andromeda, in her corvid form!

Virgil, copying him, uses the same spell to re-summon Charlotte!

You all warn Logan, Patton, and Charlotte that Virgil is getting to shut down levels of cold, so they cuddle up to him to help keep him warm.

Virgil’s Cool Guy Persona™ is in danger, so he protests. Logan is not having that, so -- using his elven True Name -- he commands Virgil to sleep. See I told you

Using a necklace Marissa put on her, that is an artifact, you saved the game!

Jisiri seems to respect Virgil. 

Virgil confirms that most of the scars on his back are from her, but that he also left a few scars on Jisiri, so he doesn’t feel too back about it. Marissa used to make them fight, as training.

With the new information, you find out it was Marissa disguised as Sune that scarred Remus, not Sune herself!

its ramble time. also yeah this is gonna be p long (hence the word - rambles) and prob talking a lot about patton and janus because i havent talked about them much and i have IDEAS

(also i know i want remy to be involved somehow but i havent figured out how yet. suggestions welcome ghjghjgs)

so thomas and logan are elves, roman remus and virgil are magic users (witches warlocks wizards whatever the word is lmao), remus specializes in wind magic, roman in fire, and virgil in weather. 

the magic virgil uses is often called chaos magic and in order for something to be generally classified as chaos magic, it needs to be unusual/rare, chaotic (duh) or unpredictable, and destructive. (these classifications might change as i think on them more). wind magic is largely argued upon whether it is chaos magic or not, seeing as how it is largely unpredictable and can be seen as destructive, but it doesnt fit the bill with the first one, leading to the arguments. same with fire magic, but they said it was too common for it to be chaos magic. virgil having weather magic means that he can create storms, sandstorms, generate lightning, windstorms, and also able to control (or rather ‘bend’) rain. of course, there are drawbacks and limitations, adding to the fact that virgil has a very hard time controlling his magic and harnessing it, he is not op dw. magic is also very much tied to emotions btw

also ro re and vee have two moms and they are a lesbian couple sorry i dont make the rules

elven lore and shit time - while gold is rare in many places in the fantasy land (i still have yet to decide on a name), in the elven land (i have not decided names for each section either lmao) iron and steel are actually harder to find than gold. gold still holds its own worth, but iron and steel are generally regarded as superior in worth than gold, which is why many nobles possess the material. and ive already explained the left eye crest thing with the elves, their left eye has a shape or crest to it along with a color that glows slightly. the glow can be dimmer or brighter depending on their emotions at the time. logan has a diamond shape to his left eye and a leaf green glow to it, which also happens to be his eye color as well. thomas’ is a heart and rainbow color and glow, while his actual eye color is an almond brown. ill discuss appearances in another post btw. anyways, the elven lifestyle is the most similar to humans, having a battleschool, its system nd shit, etc. although it does differ in terms of ‘rulers’. the humans have a monarchy while the elves rule through a council of 9. (an odd number so there arent any ties) logan uses both a sword and a bow as his weapons of choice. thomas was forced to go to battleschool so he basically just dips as soon as he can after teaching logan what he knows and becomes a healer because HEALER THOMAS 

PATTON AND JANUS TIME PATTON AND JANUS TIME PATTON AND JA

 patton is one of the merfolk, who (in this au) are a species that have two forms. their mer form, where the lower half of them is the mer tail fish tail what the fuck is it called. anyways the color of pattons tail (wtf is it dude) is a desaturated light blue. he has these like ??? spikes?? is that the word? jutting out from his forearms. (at the very least pointy things) and he will not hesitate to use them as weapons. yeah he’s a feral boy. he has some spots of scales on his upper body but they are pretty scarce. in his human form, he just looks like a human i dunno what you expected lmao. in the water his eyes are a really potent blue while on land they are much duller. he can also breathe underwater regardless of the form. patton also cant really will himself to either form, if he wants to be human form he has to be on land and vice versa for the mer form.

janus is a fucking uh,, dude idk the word for it. i guess the general word for it would be dragon but he’s more humanoid than dragon. a cross between the two ig. anyways he has scales on one side of his face, scaly wings because fuck yeah, horns jutting out from his forehead, and more shit that i have forgotten but i know he has it. the scales are a golden color, with warm yellows and light oranges mixed in. left eye has a dragon pupil type thing, like a slitted pupil. fuck i hate describing things ghdgakhgask. im playing around with the idea that dragons can shapeshift but nothing is set in stone with that tbh. most dragon folk are like janus, a mix between dragon and human, and only the really powerful ones are the ones that can actually turn into dragons so thats pretty rare. but fuck descriptions its time for fucking FRIENDSHIP and FAMILY

janus has a little brother whose name is emile and they are 6 and actually pretty shy. it took them a while to warm up to patton but now he literally loves pat and everytime he sees them he bolts over and just gives him a huge hug. patton tries to act all tough but he is so soft for emile there is no denying it and they all know it. jan and emile have an agender parent and a genderfluid parent. agender parent uses xe/xem btw. 

patton has a mother and never knew his father. he and his mother have a rather,,, distant relationship i suppose. his mother is in the royal guard so she is called away often (though it does not excuse the neglect in the slightest) her and pat just mutually acknowledge that they both exist and go about their day. one day pat confessed to jan that he never really felt that they were his mom, more just a person who birthed him. one time in a particular bout of drowsiness, patton confessed that janus and his family were the ones that he truly considered family. janus got choked up and was like ‘shut up you bastard im supposed to be tough /pos’ 

the first time janus showed him how he could get rid of the dragon aspects of himself for a limited time, patton literally took one look at his human form and shouted ‘what the FUCK’ and janus was like ‘IVE SEEN YOU CHANGE FORM BEFORE WHATS YOUR DEAL’ and patton just screams ‘THIS IS FUCKIN WEIRD’ (all /lh) janus and patton get up to so many shenanigans its a wonder they havent gotten caught yet lmao

patton, once again in sleep deprivation cause thats the only fuckin time he’ll confess anything about his emotions, told janus that he was his first friend and that he was so scared to mess it up when they first became friends. he’d spent most of his life alone and always in this state of just,,, perpetual anger, bubbling right underneath the surface with no way to escape. it led to him getting in a lot of fights and just lashing out, especially at people who tried to become his friend, scaring them away. when janus came along and stayed, he said it was the best thing that ever happened to him. he finally had a friend. even when he lashed out and retreated back into himself, putting up those walls again, janus still stayed. he helped break those walls down bit by bit, helped patton with his anger issues, helped patton realize that janus was here to stay, and that he wasnt leaving.

Tw for not exactly abusive parenting? Just kinda toxic. -Roman has known since he was 3 that his parents expected a lot from him Sit up straight and be polite and be nice to Mommy and Daddy's friends and we'll let you play on the beach later 

  -Remus always had the same expectations, but to a lesser degree. Roman was already the Golden Child after all, an 'heir and a spare' and all that nonsense But if Roman was good, then they got to go to the beach, and Remus liked the beach too, so he put up with being Slightly Worse so his brother would look even better 

   -Their roles solidified when Roman woke up to Remus sitting straight up in bed, white as a sheet, and turning to him with haunted eyes. Remus couldn't talk, that night. But his parents did take him to talk to a really nice lady named Ms. Picani((yes i AM making emile a legacy therapist)) who taught him that many people are subjected to nasty thoughts but that doesn't mean they were bad 

Their parents called him imaginative. Remus felt like it sounded like a curse next to when they called Roman creative

-So Remus and Roman both wore a mask. Roman pretended to give a shit about meetings and mergers and getting a law degree and taking over for his parents. Remus pretended it didn't hurt when they told him he could be "whatever he wanted" but laughed when he said CEO

Remus didn't think his parents even know the dichotomy they created. Roman was bitterly sure that they did. They clung closer to each other, spending every spare hour out on the water, their surfing prowess unquestionably on the same level and keeping them from turning on each other

-Remus quietly helped Roman stay awake in school when he stayed out all night sitting and waiting for the perfect waves to catch. Roman quietly fed Remus the information he learned when their dad had him sit in on "man to man" chats with other leaders.

-When they turn 14 they both tell their parents in no uncertain terms that they will absolutely be working at uncle Thomas' restaurant like Remy did when he turned 14, thank you very much. Their parents think it's a good lesson in responsibility. The twins think its a great reason to get out of the damn house.

-They drag their friends along with them. Virgil becomes a junior lifeguard with a passion Roman had yet to see in him, watching over everyone like a hawk. Logan gets to read under an umbrella. Patton is charming as hell as a bus boy and he and the twins quickly become waiters despite technically being too young(they just can't carry the alcohol for two years)

-There's still stuffy dinners that alternate with nights alone just the two of them in the house as their parents jet set around the world, but now they have somewhere to be every single day Thomas Actively encourages them to use the private beach for surfing when they have time off, and they love it because they can just grab their boards on their lunch breaks and go

-It is out on these lunch break surf and chats that a plan falls into place, as it normally does, when Remus just says the first thing that comes to his mind Roman knows what he wants now, and so does Remus, and who better to get it than the Creativitwins(coined by Patton, LOVED by the twins)

-By the time the Main Timeline happens(when they're all 18) the brothers have Solidified the plan 

They've both enrolled at the same elite school(much to their parent's condescending surprise, seeing as how Remus' grades are actually better than Roman's), both majoring in business, but they swap majors without telling their parents. Remus takes Entrepreneurship and Business Analytics, and minors in pre-law, and Roman takes Management.

-Roman knows, deep down, that once the jig is up he might lose all the money they put away for him. So, when he sees that there's an amateur competition on the island with enough prize money to get them both through at least a few semesters of school he leaps at it

-He trains Non Stop. He hasn't told LAM about the plan and they get super duper concerned about him 

-Thomas and Roman end up in a screaming match because Roman is clearly not sleeping and when Remus can't get through to him he sends Thomas and tells Roman he’ll handle their parents

This is when it comes out that Thomas is living Roman's dream that he feels he doesn't deserve, feels like he's failed as the Golden Child and hasn't earned the right to go after what he truly wants

At the Same Time Remus has shown up in Roman's place to a Very Important Dinner because he knows its just time to let the cat out of the bag. His father pulls him aside and tells him that he cannot afford any "outbursts" and that this is a "very serious meeting". Remus gives a sickly sweet grin and goes in anyway, smoothly makes rounds to say hello to all the customers who come to the resort and is joking and laughing with three of them within 15 minutes. His father is so taken aback he actually doesn't hear one of his other colleagues ask if he's alright.

Janus shows up to back him up about 30 minutes in and Remus brings him around to introduce, and the two of them charm the pants off of the few people they hadn't met yet, forcing the Twin's parents to confront their own biases against their son. Roman turns his phone off so he won't see his father calling. Him Remy and Thomas are having a disney marathon, anyway

-Roman doesnt go home til morning. When he gets there, both his parents are sitting at the table with Remus. They all have tears in their eyes and look like theyve been there all night. He'd gotten the text from Janus when he turned his phone on, knew that it had gone well, or he'd be genuinely concerned. The first thing his father says is, "We're sorry"

They have a discussion, and it feels a little bit like the business discussions he always sits in on, slightly stiff and with everyone still not really comfortable with each other, but at the end his mother hugs him for the first time in what feels like years and tells him she's proud that he worked so hard towards what he really wanted, and that he reminds her of herself at his age trying to break into the business world, and he cant truthfully say that isn't the best thing he's ever heard in his life

-Their parents arent perfect. Remus will say something slightly off kilter and they will visibly wince before they can correct themselves. Their mother will still attempt to baby Remus and put Roman on a pedestal. Their father will still turn to Roman for his opinion before Remus. They both pitch a fit when Roman insists on transferring to a local school to save money. But there's progress made.

-And on the day of the competition, Thomas comes up to Roman when he stops by the restaurant to get Luck with a key on a lanyard that says "Thomas Sanders Beach Emporium - Surf and Swim Shop". He'd purchased the small surf shop next to the resort from a local who'd wanted to move inland. 

"Ro, I know you still want to go to college and that's fine. But know you are the only one I want running this, even if I have to wait." 

Roman bursts into tears IMMEDIATELY and Patton has to hug him for like a full 20 minutes to calm him down

-And then, as we all know, THEY WIN THE COMPETITION. And they don't need the money for college anymore, so they take it and give it all directly to Thomas for the shop, and the twins own it together but Roman runs it while Remus is off being one half of the Ultimate Power Couple on the mainlaind

And Now That You’ve Survived the Angst Train, here’s EPILOGUE

-Roman takes over the surf shop as soon as he graduates, of course. 

-Patton becomes a Divemaster/Ocean Archeaologist and gets to spend all his time in the water 

-Logan becomes an Oceanographer who creates super detailed and beautiful diagrams 

-Virgil becomes a marine biologist specializing in rescue and release and they buy a house across the street from the restaurant

-Remy takes over the restaurant and Emile opens a practice right on the island and Remile live in the apartment above the restaurant

-Dukeceit move inland towards the city so Remus can get his MBA and Janus can have some Night Noise and Janus gets his law degree and they are a Power Couple 

But they always take at least a month where they are either off or working remotely and rent a house on the same block as Remile and LAMP and surf and hang out at the restaurant and beach and relive that One Summer Of Pure Happiness and Freedom

Chapter 3

Me and Shoto had grown really close this week. I felt so sad when I had to go back to class because I wouldn't be able to see  Shoto. His class was going on a camping trip.

I found out these feelings I felt for him was love.

How strange... I thought I would never be able to love someone romantically in my life.

I was staring at the board blankly. I was really bored and lonely. I was strong enough for my nurse to ket me go to class alone.

It was a new thing for me, but I didnt mind.

Mt mental health went down drastically though. The kids made fun of my illness and even shoved me around.

They kept saying that I'll never do anything great because I was so sickly and weak.

It really hurt me. I started to believe those statements. My nurse wondered what was wrong but I never told her.

I didn't want to bother her with my silly problems.

I wasnt worth any human sympathy, so why should I waste her's?

I hide my feelings and troubles from my therapist too. He doesn't even suspect a thing.

I sighed as I wrote down what Present Mic told us to.

I started to feel my eyes fall closed and my breathing became shallow. I passed out at my desk.

I soon woke up in a hospital bed, connected to a heart monitor and life support.

A light went off and a group of nurses rush on with a doctor.

My parents werent there. There was nothing that told me that they visited.

Just as I thought. I was a waste of space. A bother. Not even my parents wanted to see me.

Thwy hate me. Everyone hates me. Even Shoto.

I sighed in relief when the nurses exited. They left me alone with my personal nurse. She turned the TV on for me.

Thwy were talking about Shoto.

I spotted his last name.

It took a bit to click, but when it did, I freaked out.

He's a Todoroki?!

Why didn't he tell me that? Did something bad happen?

I was so surprised. I decided to ask him when I exited the hospital.

Who knows how long I'll stay in this place.

I heard that Midoriya was in hospital. He apparently fainted in class due to his oxygen running out.

How dumb could his nurse be?

I sighed as I took my red and white hair out of my face. I wanted to see the TV better.

My heart sank when I heard that I was on the news.

Midoriya would surely know that I'm a Todoroki. That'll scare him off. I dont want that... I've grown feelings for him.

I can't loose him, not yet.

Chapter 4

I was out of hospital and back at school.  I feel like Shoto is ignoring me... and it hurts.

I was just walking to the cafeteria when I saw Shoto talking with that black haired girl from 1-A. I think her name was Momo.

Momo was giggling and blushing while Todoroki was looking at her like a boyfriend would.

My heart sank and I just rushed out of the cafeteria. Tears were brimming my eyes.

Why am I crying? Why does it hurt so much?

My nurse tried to follow me, but she couldnt. I ran into the boys bathroom, locking thr door. I went to a stall and closed it's door. I just started ro cry.

Why am I feeling this much pain?

Why does it hurt so much to see Shoto with her?

My heart monitor started beeping loudly.

I guess this had put a lot of stress on me.

What am I going to do now? I thought he cared about me.... but now he's ignoring and avoiding me.

Did I do something wrong?

I knew it.... he was just pretending. He actually hates me and that teddy bear was a fake gift. He didnt want to tell me his last name because he didnt want me to ruin his image.

I should just leave... forever. It'll make everything easier for everyone... especially mom and dad.

My vision was starting to become a lot more foggy and blurry. My breathing became unsteady and really quick.

It feels like something pressing on my chest. Why does it hurt this much?

I started screaming for the first time in the longest time.

It hurts a lot more than my illness. It feels like my heart is shattering.

Am I dying?

Maybe I am... that'll be amazing...

Before I knew it, I was passed out. The last thing I heard was the door unlocking. I saw a blurry face. They had red and white hair.

I found Midoriya's nurse at the boys bathroom. She was looking at me with worried and angry eyes.

She pointed at the door  "Help me open the door... please. He's in there. He looked troubled."

Before I could kick the door down, I heard a scream come from behind the door.

My heart sank and I froze the door handle. I opened the door and found Midoriya on the floor. His breathing was heavy and unsteady. He looked like he was having a panic attack.

"I think he passed out from a panic attack. We need to get him to the hospital." I spoke softly. I didnt want the nurse to know that I was scared. I need to remain strong... for Midoriya's sake.

We were in the hospital a few hours later. Midoriya was hooked up on life support and they had to put him into an induced coma.

I don't know why, but they had to.

I took Midoriya's hand into mine ans sighed shakily "I'm so sorry Midoriya... I dont know what caused you to freak out like this.... but.... it was probably my fault."

I asked the nurses to leave me alone with Midoriya for a bit. I wanted to tell him how I felt... I dont care if he couldn't respond. I needed to tell him.

I was talking with Momo to figure out how to ask someone out. She helped me by being a test subject.

I pretended that she was Midoriya. I confessed to her and she smiled, telling me that Midoriya would love what I told her.

I looked at Midoriya, sighing shakily. I brought his hand up to my forehead, starting ro cry, "I'm so so sorry....Midoriya... please.... forgive me for whatever I did.... I.... I love you so much... I know we've only known each other for a short time now.... but... I'm sure that I've fallen for you... When... when they used my last name on the news... I was scared that you would leave me alone.... just because I was a Todoroki..." I took a breath.

"I started to avoid you.... but... that was a mistake... Midoriya... please forgive me... I know you probably dont feel the same.... but I love you..." I sounded so damn sad and desperate.

Damn it. I promised myself that I wouldnt cry.

I then felt Midoriya's hand tighten on my hand.

I looked up at him, sniffling. I saw that he had a soft smile on his face and tears falling from his eyes.

He was still asleep though. I knew that he heard me.

I somehow heard Todoroki confess to me. I tried to wake up, but I couldnt.

I used all of my strength to squeeze his hand and smile. I felt tears fall from my eyes.

I felt happy and complete.

Chapter 5

It's been a month now and Midoriya was awake.

It was a relief to know that. He also accepted my feelings for him. He likes me too, surprisingly.

I felt the happiest I've ever felt in my life.... this is amazing.

I was chased out of his room though. They needed to check up on him and it seems that he doesnt need his personal nurse anymore.

The school is gonna let us share our dorms so that I can take care of him.

I was pretty happy about that. He also seemed way happier.

I was hugging him while he was catching up on work. He looked so cute when he focused. I really like it when he looks like this.

I nuzzled into his back and let ou a hum "Do you need any help Izu?"

Midoriya smiled softly and shook his head "Not really Sho.... I'm doing quite well." He mumbled.

I nodded and kissed his bacl softly before drifting off into sleep.

After a few hours, I felt two arms wrap around me. I opened my eyes and saw Midoriya hugging me. He was smiling softly "Hey Sho..... Sorry for waking you up."

I smiled and shook my head "It's fine. Are you tired?"

He nodded and nuzzled into my chest "Yes.... I'm very tired...." he yawned and closed his eyes, falling asleep.

He was getting tired a lot more easily thesw past few months. I wasnt really concerned about that. He told me that if he didnt feel well that he'll tell me.

I never thought anything of this, until he didnt respond to me the next morning.

I tried to wake him up, but he kept sleeping.

I called the hospital and a nurse who was accompanied with a doctor arrived.

They checked up on Midoriya and they frowned.

The doctor looked at me "He needs to be hospitalized again. His condition has gotten worse."

I tensed up and nodded "A-Alright..."

This cant be happening again. I cant lose him now.

anyway i’m still thinkin about roceit newsies au...this got SO LONG its basically a bullet fic of the whole plot at this point but uh enjoy!!! its has all the sides and remy and emile bc i rly wanted to shove them all in here aldkaldka

this is based on the musical mostly bc i have never watched the original movie all the way thru oops

roman is jack and remus is crutchie (thanks boop). remus does crazy stunts even with his crutch and roman is Constantly Worried TM and overprotective of remus even tho remus can DEF take care of himself

on the other hand remus knows roman hates working as a newsboy and just wants to escape to some small town where he can become a local artist of some sort. remus wants roman to go CHASE his DREAMS even tho he’s afraid roman might leave him behind

roman may be the actor but remus is great at coming up with gruesome yet intriguing headlines that get people to buy papers and would totally be a great author of some sort

ON THAT NOTE roman dreams of santa fe and can picture it perfectly but whenever he tries to explain it, it comes out as senseless rambling and longing. it’s remus who can really put into words what roman feels (bc theyre bros and they just GET each other)

virgil as davey, patton as les, logan as sarah (its the musical but they have an extra sibling okay. let me have older brother logan)

virgil and patton show up and virgil is super untrusting and hates that theyre basically lying to get people to buy papers but patton is just EXCITED to meet New People!!! and looks up to roman (and remus), like, instantly

it helps that roman promises to take them to a real actual theater after they sell all their papers owned by the one the only emile picani !!!

also roman is the one who first calls him “virge” which is like jack saying “davey” instead of david. yes this is necessary information

so they sell their papers (and roman briefly meets an ESPECIALLY handsome guy wink wink) and go see emile who performs some variant of That’s Rich like the star he is. u cant take singer emile away from me

roman also performs bc i said so. he spies someone watching him during his act up above the stage and climbs up there when he’s done

janus. its janus, if that wasnt clear or u dont know the plot of the newsies musical aldkaldlal

so yeah janus as katherine!! he may be pulitzer’s son but that doesn’t mean his father wants him to be a journalist. pulitzer thinks he should prepare to inherit the publishing company or be a banker or smth, not be a journalist

i just think janus’ “society is a LIE” vibe fits with katherine. i mean, just look at Watch What Happens. “give life’s little guys some ink,” “they’ll storm the gates,” “rich greedy sourpusses” .... idk it just SCREAMS janus to me

ALSO, katherine technically lies about her identity for like 3/4 of the musical, so

anyway! roman meets janus and janus is all suave and lowkey flirty at first but then roman starts flirting BACK and jan is like “uh oh how to talk to cute boys????”

so then he gets all “i have more important things to do” *hair flip* and goes back to the article he’s supposed to be writing about emile’s theater (a lot of his notes are about roman’s performance but nobody needs to know that shhh)

roman draws a portrait of jan and leaves it there and janus gently & dramatically picks it up, stares at it, and tucks it into his suit with a soft smile

uh oh prices for papers went up! virgil steps up and helps roman lead a strike. turns out his caution works GREAT with roman’s determination and they keep each other from going towards extreme overthinking (virgil) or extreme stupidity (roman). they are a TEAM and they are BESTIES.

remus: lets SET THE PAPERS ON FIRE

roman, starry eyed: HECK YEAH LETS DO IT

virgil: how about we dont do that and instead form a union

and then the twins are like GOOD IDEA and tell everyone else. virgil may be a cautious and untrusting and afraid of public speaking but he has good ideas dangit

the intro to seize the day yknow? virgil says a Good Idea (which can probably be traced back to him always listening to logan rant about his studies) and roman spreads the message in a Firm Rebellion-y way to the other newsies

and patton is there doing his absolute best. he may be small but he knows that this isn’t right or fair to the newsboys and he’s ready to physically fight someone

enter logan who is lowkey really proud of virgil for stepping outside of his comfort zone to do whats right. logan may be scared out of his mind for his little bros but he’s gonna help them as much as he can between college and trying to work side jobs to help their fam

basically logan knows janus and tells him that he should report on the strike bc logan wants to help his bros AND his friend however he can

cue janus seeing his opportunity and TAKING it. he’s gonna write about this strike even if no one else will!!! take THAT, father

he also maybe possibly wanted to see roman again. but roman never needs to know that okay what he doesnt know cant hurt him

seize the day happens!!!! they strike!!!! they r powerful!!! but then no one else from any other sections of new york strike with them and they lowkey get rekt

remus mocks the delanceys but that was a BAD decision cuz now theyre targeting him and he gets taken to the REFUGE

roman is SAD bc his brother’s been taken away, no one showed up to help them strike, his brother’s been taken away and he just wants to get OUT of there. run away to santa fe, his ideal world, but he can’t even articulate that because his brother is gone

how is that just act one. how have i written so much yet left out so much???

remus is at the refuge and he’s a little more scared, now, that roman really will just leave him behind even though he knows deep down that roman would never.

still. he writes roman a letter and maybe he goes into a little too much detail about his injuries and the refuge but hey, that’s remus. he writes about how maybe they can run away to santa fe together. he signs it “your brother” and i CRY because they are the best bros

roman reads it and ALSO cries. especially because there it is, the description of santa fe he can never come up with by himself. remus rly does know him, huh

total scene change: janus finds the other newsies (and logan) in a restaurant? bar? and is like “!!! ur on the FRONT PAGE on my newspaper” which i just decided is called the snake instead of the sun

virgil didn’t totally trust janus would follow thru at first but now he’s convinced. they did it!!!! theyre on the front page!!!! the world WILL know!!!!

cue tapdancing!!!!!! king of new york is an absolute bop. i need logan tapdancing daintily and then janus LAUNCHING into some complex tap routine bc the newsies think he too will dance daintily

i know they wouldnt,,, actually dance but just let me have this self-indulgence in this entirely self-indulgent au

the Bro Trio + janus go hunt down roman to show him the paper and find him painting stuff at emile’s all sad and upset bc, well, they lost and remus was taken

but virgil is trying to show him that they made progress!!! sure pulitzer won but he won the BATTLE and actually the poor guy’s head is spinning bc theyre gonna win.

“cmon, ro, if i’m is telling you to be optimistic there must be hope”

see virgil calls him RO and its cute bc roman gave him the nickname ‘virge’ and now virgil’s giving him the nickname ‘ro’ theyre just besties okay

roman is unconvinced but then logan, who roman has actually never met before, steps in with Facts and Statistics, and patton adds some adorable words of encouragement, and janus sassily waves their Front Page Story at him, and roman starts realizing they DO have a chance

but then uh oh pulitzer threatens remus and the Bro Trio and roman is forced to speak out against the strike or risk ruining the lives of everyone he loves. and also he finds out that janus is pulitzer’s son and is Betrayed TM

theres some “he’s just trying to build up a false confidence in u so u can plummet to even greater depths” parallels in there somewhere....u can’t trust many people as a newsie and when roman DOES trust someone turns out he’s the son of the guy ur trying to fight

so roman says overnight in pulitzer’s basement, sleeping on an uncomfortable old printing press, and makes his decision

now for the RALLY

remy is spot conlon bc he DESERVES to be the leader of the brooklyn newsies. brooklyn, flushing, richmond, etc all show up to a newsies rally and are like YEAH!!! STRIKE!!!!

virgil is trying to tame the crowd nervously and keeps waiting for roman to show up bc they work best when theyre working together!!!! finally roman’s there and virgil introduces him (the attention isnt solely on him now thank gosh)

but then roman starts talking about how they dont stand a chance and how they shouldnt go on strike and virgil is just. confused and upset and angry

especially when he sees one of pulitzer’s employees slipping roman wads of money

virgil corners roman afterwards and is absolutely RIPPING into him. roman could fix this if he would just tell virgil the truth, tell him he doesn’t care about the money, he just wanted to keep him and patton and logan safe—

but roman knows if he tells virgil, then virgil will turn all his anger towards pulitzer, will be able to convince roman to keep going, and roman won’t. he can’t put virgil, put his family, at risk.

so he lies.

he doesn’t mean any of it. but he says it.

and maybe he kind of understands why janus lied, too.

he says he’s never had anyone to take care of him or remus, not like virgil does with his parents and his older brother. he says virgil will never know what it’s like.

virgil scoffs and glares and beneath all his fury looks crushed. but there’s still fire in his eyes, a spark roman saw that first day that only grew and engulfed any doubts virgil ever had.

roman says he’ll take the money and go, leave new york behind.

virgil says fine. we don’t need you. because you know what? all those words you said were mine. i didn’t have the courage to say them back then but now i do. we don’t need you.

(because i watched that scene in the movie and like YES go OFF davey i mean virgil)

roman flees to his “bedroom” which is really just a fire escape and just longs for remus’ reassurance. he has the letter but it doesn’t seem as encouraging now, not when he’s lost everything else important to him.

then janus shows up and roman’s mad at him but not mad enough to kick him out. and janus watched roman just give up on everything they’ve been fighting for and just wants to know WHY. why did he turn his back on the newsies when they were so close?

and roman, tired and upset and defeated, just says they wouldn’t succeed. even if all the newsies went on strike no one would report on it, anyway, because pultizer has all the printing presses on lockdown, even the one janus published from. and they already lost once! what more could they possibly do?

roman looks out over the railing, chest heaving from his rant, longing for his imaginary santa fe where he doesn’t have to face his failures. janus stands next to him and puts his hand over roman’s.

“i don’t have a simple answer to that question....but here’s a start.”

and janus pulls out a paper with roman’s words (well, and virgil’s, because virgil said it first but roman rephrased it powerfully, and that’s why they worked as a team) typed out, words that make the strike not about newsies but about ALL working children in the city who are being exploited for their youth and naivety.

it’s an entire article, expertly written. if published it would get the word out to the other newsies that they haven’t given up and show other working children and adults alike that this is IMPORTANT and they aren’t going away.

and then roman remembers his drawings of the refuge and remus’ graphic descriptions and shows them to janus and hey!!! they have a plan!!! they just need to print it....

roman’s like yo there’s an old press in ur dad’s basement he’d never suspect anything

and theyre both so excited and theyre gonna DO this, FINALLY, and janus sees hope on roman’s face again, maybe permanently this time, and janus just leans in and kisses him.

its very sweet and cute and theyre in LOVE

they pull back and kinda stand there awkwardly for a few seconds before both of them start grinning

and they both know its fragile, that they’ve hurt each other and trust was cracked, but it wasn’t broken completely, and they can fix this. they believe in each other and that’s enough for now.

and then they go find virgil at his house

roman knocks on the door and virgil opens it and just. glares at roman. and roman starts rambling apologies and explanations and tries to tell virgil about their plan and did he mention he’s sorry

virgil kinda just stares at him as he goes on and on and the only thing that stops him is patton running out and launching himself at roman

then logan appears behind virgil, and virgil kinda just smiles

“glad to have u back. again.”

and then they go sneak into pulitzer’s basement and print the article with jan’s writing and ro’s drawings and remus’ descriptions and the other newsies go spread the papers ALL around the city

the next morning EVERYONE is out on strike!!! u cant get ANYWHERE without seeing ppl, newsies or otherwise, filling the streets with chants of “seize the day”

roman, with the Bro Trio and Janus trailing close behind, waltzs on in to pulitzer’s office and flings the money pulitzer gave him back on the desk and is like whatcha gonna do NOW, joe??

pulitzer angrily tells them he’s a fool for going back on their deal and logan steps in sayin pulitzer is a fool for letting this get so out of hand over a 10 cent price increase. his sales are down 70%!! objectively the price increase was like the worst business decision ever

virgil’s like plus it’s making u look bad that ur business is the reason most of these kids are suffering. people really love kids, mr pulitzer and patton smiles brightly but in like a menacing way

then emile walks in with a ~dazzling smile~ and is like ur son told me about this whole situation, it’d be a shame if i contacted my good friend governor roosevelt who won’t be as kind as these brave newsies since u tried so hard to stop him from being elected :)

((in the show roosevelt is actually there but i want emile to have a moment to SHINE))

so pulitzer’s like FINE and talks to roman alone and roman wears him down, throwing words from janus, virgil, and pulitzer himself right in pulitzer’s face until FINALLY they have a deal. he’ll lower the prices by half AND pulitzer will buy back whatever they don’t sell full price

roman bursts out of the office into the streets where all the newsies are waiting and is like WE WONNN

and since they published all that stuff about the refuge in the paper, the guy who runs it is being arrested and REMUS IS FREE

the twins hug for like a full two minutes

then pulitzer offers roman a job as a political cartoonist and roman’s like. well idk now that this is over i should probably...head out

bc lowkey he’s thinking virgil still doesn’t wanna see roman ever again and he did say he would leave, so

but then virgil’s like come on, ro, you don’t really think we want u to leave, do u? what’s santa fe got that new york aint? tarantulas? sandstorms? stampedes? you can’t go to santa fe what if you DIE—

and logan says new york’s got us!

patton: and we’re family, right?

then janus is like you got a union to lead! and...you got me.

and remus is like bro, anyone can dream, all you do is close ur eyes! but some made up world is all you’ll ever see. (bc he’s the wordsy one, u see. he helps roman have the poetic realization that his santa fe isn’t real, but this IS)

so roman says well if u guys INSIST.....and then he takes jan’s hand and kinda asks w his eyes and then kisses jan in front of all the newsies who proceed to cheer obnoxiously

when they break apart roman leads janus by the hand over to the paper-buying-cart and slaps some couns down on the table and BUYS SOME PAPERS BC THEYRE NEWSIES BABEY

and everyone lived happily ever after🥰
