I’m working through my inbox but don’t want to drown y’all’s feed in my asks so I’m grouping as many together as I can. Q&A below:

MISC SONIC ASKS

Thank you so very much! I was trying to really combine both Amy and Sonic’s aesthetics. Amy is classy and design oriented so I wanted to keep that feel, but I wanted to show how their home would evolve once she and Sonic start living together. Sonic’s never canonically had a house, but he travels so much that I headcanon that he’s constantly collecting trinkets and souvenirs from all the places he’s visited. So I wanted to give them a very “worldly” design style. If you’re familiar with Uncharted 4, I picture Sonic and Amy’s house being very much like Nate and Elena’s beach house.

I love interior design and architecture but I’m not great at drawing it (yet). Once I improve I want to do a full layout of their house for my stories (and the future Shadora Fortress).

I really enjoyed the movies and I’m excited for the third! I hope they give Shadow a voice that’s deep and delicious and doesn’t sound like a sniveling villain. I don’t like it when they cast him with a very generic evil voice, I prefer it when he’s got depth. Honestly I’d be happy if they stuck with Ian Hanlin, he’s perfect to me. 

For the record, I absolutely love that game. Some of my favorite memories involve me and my best friend playing it. He ABSOLUTELY is an avid gun collector. I love seeing the memes of Shadow just rambling off about gun details. BUT HE KEEPS THAT CRAP LOCKED UP IN A SAFE AND UNLOADED AT ALL TIMES!!!!

At least for my stories he isn’t one to actually threaten to harm anybody for wanting to date his kids. He dealt with that enough trying to be with Aurora. But you can bet he won’t think anybody’s worthy to date his kids lol

First of all, I am ALWAYS down for Sonic singing his feelings. Like that is my #1 favorite thing in every story. Whenever he breaks out the guitar/lute I’m like “HELL YEAH LET’S DO THIS”

Secondly, that SONG omg!!! I’d never heard it before but wow 😭 I couldn’t love it more. I completely agree and thank you so much for sharing with me!

That is so funny that you say that. It was not my intention to make human Sonic look like RCS but honestly he is my favorite Sonic at this point so maybe it came out subliminally! Also I think Roger is just so damn handsome so I will take that as a compliment lol! 

SHIPPING ASKS

I do ship them but I don’t know about them having kids. I don’t really know those characters well enough to write family members for them and I wouldn’t want to do it wrong. Thank you!

I’m fine with any of your ships as long as it’s not with relatives. And as long as you keep my characters “in character” then that’s fine. 

Interesting! 🤔 I haven’t heard that pairing before but hey I’m certainly not going to tell you that you can’t ship them together. 

I loved Amy the minute I saw her so just from a superficial level I was like “These two are too cute together!” But I really fell in love with them when their story evolved and we got to see their dynamism in the games outside of just a cute little pink sprite in Sonic CD. And Sonic X really sealed the deal haha So many romantic moments between them in that show, God bless. 

Sonic and Amy were just making out, not anything more. Orbot and Cubot aren’t accustomed to seeing that so that’s why they reacted that way. 

I don’t have any plans on that at the moment. I like that universe and I especially loved how Sonic acted around her in it, but idk if I’ll make a comic about it. But I can never say never!

PERSONAL ASKS

I’m sorry to have worried you, but honestly I was okay while I was away. I went through a lot of major life events and I had lost my drawing mojo and was fighting to get it back. But now it’s back with a vengeance!

I plan on doing both. I know several amazing parents who do a wonderful job raising their kids and still follow their passion.

Thank you so much! I’m self-taught, but I’ve researched a lot of tutorials and references to help me improve over my life. The number one thing people need to study if they want to do comics or animations or anything is ANATOMY! You don’t have to take an anatomy class (I didn’t), but look up references and tutorials to learn how the spine works, how the muscles work, proportions, etc. Even if your characters don’t fall into the typical human form, you still need to understand skeletal structure and muscles. 

I’m not an avid listener but I do like some if her songs :)

I’m in the process of assembling that. There’s a lot so it’s taking time lol

AURORA ASKS

Thank you! Yes that’s pretty accurate. Their family is all about honesty and telling the truth, but younger Aurora doesn’t like to share all the details with Sonic because he’s so reactive with her and will quickly try to fix whatever the problem is and Aurora wants to learn to fix it herself. Amy is more willing to just listen to Aurora and offer advice if Aurora asks for it. Amy WANTS to beat up whoever is upsetting her daughter but she also knows the importance of learning how to fight for yourself so she wants Aurora to feel empowered to do that. 

Thank you! I hope you’re having a great day too! I think Amy is better at TALKING through feelings and Sonic’s better at the overall cheering up way of handling things. So as long as there’s nothing terribly awful bothering Aurora and she’s just feeling a little down, he’ll find ways to make her laugh. Sometimes that means walking in unexpectedly in a costume to shock her or dragging her out of the room to have a musical jam session together. 

Sonic’s also known to give people flowers when they’re sad in canon (he does this regularly in the games and in Sonic X), so he’ll bring her bright, colorful flowers to make her smile. 

In my AU, Eggman has already kind of peaked by the time of Boom!Baby. He’s softened a lot and isn’t interested so much in world domination as he just wants attention lol. Having Sage and becoming a father further helped me justify that with my AU. 

He's also particularly sentimental towards Aurora since he helped deliver her, so he doesn’t really fight the team anymore. He is more like a constant pain in their sides mucking things up. 

Sonic team is busy fighting other, newer foes in my AU.

Their biggest challenge is going to be the Time Travel comic that I haven’t completed yet. It’s hardest because not only will lives be put on the line, but it also touches on trust and when to let go. I’m sorry I can’t give you a more detailed answer yet but I don’t want to spoil the plot! And thank you so much! 

MISC ASKS RELATED TO MY AU

Yes I just need to draw them. There are so many dang Sonic characters hahaha

It’s VERY important to Aurora for her parents to give their blessing, so Shadow will honor that and ask them for it. I already know how and when he’s going to do it, but I can’t spoil it for you yet! 😉

They’ve had three litters. I headcanon that back in the day hedgehogs used to have litters (2 or more kids) all the time but that became less and less common in modern day. But I also headcanon that as the Ultimate Lifeform, Shadow was engineered to be able to… multiply effectively. So even though they’ve only been pregnant 3 times, they keep having triplets or twins. 

I do consider the First Kiss comic canon to my AU. But it happened a while before My Gal, maybe like a year or so before. Give them time to stew on that kiss hehehe

They just wanted to make a life change. The stars just happened to align at the same time haha

All the kids’ names are supposed to be based on their personalities or powers. Most Sonic characters are named that way, so I don’t know if it’s canon for Mobian parents to sense what their kid’s powers will be or not. Aurora has dreams that sometimes give her premonitions so she had inklings to what their kids might be like so she and Shadow could brainstorm ideas based on that. Also a lot of their names are outer-space-related or at least outer-space-adjacent and that was because Shadow’s a space man lol So he had influence in that. 

Sonic wants all his descendants named Sonic II so he’s no help lol.

There are 3 litters. The first litter has the triplets Piper, Zane and Nova. The second litter was born almost a year and a half later and has the twins Aster and Blitz. The third litter was immediately after and that has the triplets Cinder, Diamond and Boon. All this information is listed in their character reference post. 

In the beginning the family mostly just stuck to ordering online and getting home deliveries lol. But if they do have to do a grocery store run it’s a full family event. The kids all ride on Shadow (see this post). Their house has two fridges to accommodate for all the mouths to feed!

Their life certainly isn’t boring anymore 😂 It’s exhausting but they’re happy (also there are 8 kids haha!)

Aurora definitely would have asked him about this, but at least in my stories Sonic became an orphan at a young age and I don’t have him with any siblings. 

I’ve had another person ask me who I picture Sonic’s parents as and I do plan on drawing a reference of them, but they’ll be unique to my stories. They won’t be from any other Sonic media. 

I don’t draw Aleena, Manic and Sonia because of a couple reasons. I never watched Sonic Underground so I don’t have the allegiance/nostalgia that a lot of people have to that show. Also for my own preference, I don’t like the idea of Sonic being born to royalty. It doesn’t suit him, in my opinion. That doesn’t mean I don’t respect people who have that as a part of their canon and it doesn’t mean I have any bad feelings towards the Underground characters. I just don’t draw them. I grew up on the games and later Sonic X and Sonic Boom so my stories revolve around what I know. 

It’s funny that you mention that ship because I only just learned about it from Starrjoy’s P!AU comic. Again I didn’t watch Sonic Underground so I don’t know who Bernadette is, but sure I’m down for Sonic having two moms. Families come in all shapes and sizes, so as long as they’re a loving parent or parents then I support it. 

They love all their grandkids and they love spending time with them, but I think in their older age Sonic and Amy go off on more adventures again. They never stopped adventuring, but they settled down a bit while raising Aurora. Now they’re relishing a second wind and they’re frequently going on worldly explorations.  

But they always make sure to attend any events the kids are involved with and are always home on Sundays for family dinner. Sunday night is dinner at Grandma and Grandpa’s! <— I have them always having dinner at their house on Sundays even before Aurora and Shadow have kids

To be honest, I never felt like they needed more. I had a comic where they discussed it hypothetically, but they’re content with just having the one kid. (Don’t worry, just because they’re not having kids does NOT mean they aren’t… active 😈 They’re very VERY much so!). I am okay with fan stories where people give Aurora siblings and there’s a fic I’m reading right now that involves Sonic and Amy having a whoopsie baby way late in life and adult Aurora is having to deal with that and I love it lol. But just for my own writing, it’s a single-child household.

Fish Upon the Sky ep 1 thoughts/reaction

i can't wait till toward the end of the show when we actually see this balloon scene

also it took me almost to the end of part 1 to realize his name was pi and the weren't just calling him phi, was very confused there lol

pi being completely over all the romantic stuff and cursing the couples in his head is such a mood

god tho if anybody did that kind of thing to me it would be over instantly

lol pi comparing himself to a wisdom tooth was so funny!

i love pi's internal monologue, it's great, it's toeing that fine line between funny and annoying but is fortunately staying funny

is that another autistically-coded character i smell for my collection?

i totally understand pi, i would fall in love with mix i mean nan too and im aromantic

now i do love mork and pi as the main couple but nan and pi would be pretty cute too

maybe polyamory?

i'm excited for the confrontation later on when pi accuses mork of liking him because of his new look and mork reveals he's liked him the whole time even when he looked dorky

wow, tbh, i wasn't expecting to get hooked on this show so fast but i absolutely loved this first episode and im very excited to see the story develop. i had fairly high expectations and i must say it exceeded them. i hope we see nan develop a bit more so he's not quite so flat and i'm excited to see my baby pi develop more confidence in himself

My thoughts on Yashahime

I’ll make an actual post about Yashahime after the series is over and maybe a bit more (like my thoughts on SessRin as a whole) but for now I’ll be rambling about something I couldn’t stop thinking about since last night.

So... Sesshoumaru’s a dad now, huh? I mean, I knew since they announced the sequel series but it didn’t hit me that yeah, this really is happening until I saw the latest episode (ep. 15) and seeing him with his kids. Like, I watched Inuyasha as a kid and never really imagined that there’d be a time where the word “dad” or “father” would be used to describe him. The guy is stoic and almost emotionless so to think he’d become a dad or would get married at all was a surprising and strange thought. But he’s gone a long way from being the antagonist character he was introduced as at the beginning of the main series and now he has a family and I just... can you imagine all the slice-of-life shenanigans?

I’ll put the rest of my ramblings under the cut to save space...

Sesshoumaru is a serious person who has trouble showing emotions or even admitting he cares about people. Episode 15 shows him seeing Rin after she gives birth and then seeing his kids for the first time and there’s no change in his facial expression although we know as the audience there’s something underneath that. Rin knows and trust him and Jaken does, too of course. Sadly he was not able to watch his kids grow closely especially Towa who was forcibly time-travelled to the future and grew up on a different family. The twins don’t remember him and Rin at all either.

Like, imagine how awkward it would be after all the life-threatening stuff and them trying to be a family again. The kids are teenagers now, too and have their own personalities so it might be extra awkward. Towa probably would have to deal with meeting her biological parents and having them not be the Higurashis and the personalities are different, too (esp. her dad). Setsuna has to deal with having a family period and her memories of Towa would probably return at the end, too but still she had her demon slaying upbringing and always being in battle mode and such.

Anyways, imagine Setsuna being with her mom. She already feels kind of weird whenever her sister that she doesn’t remember shows affection now she has a mom who would probably do the same lol.

And Sesshoumaru is serious and such but his daughter Towa is kind and affectionate. I couldn’t stop thinking about this scenario: Sesshoumaru noticing Towa is using a broken sword all this time and one day comes back to give her a new one and Jaken would explain that his Lord Sesshoumaru had it made specifically for Towa. I can just imagine Towa being happy cause “Wow new sword for me?” and then saying thank you to her dad and hugging him and Sesshoumaru not knowing what the heck he should do and just... staring. Rin and Jaken would watch happily of course as they know he’s not unfeeling and-

And and and Setsuna being like Sesshoumaru (well, almost) would act tsun but she probably would wanna do family stuff, too.

And I want to see the twins interact with Jaken! He would be so overprotective of them while Sesshoumaru isn’t around. He’d be pissed if anyone even looks down on them and Towa would ask him to stop cause that’s totally not it and Setsuna would just sigh. Towa would be so nice and polite and would actually talk to Jaken nicely (the guy needs more appreciation!). He would totally tell the twins about their parents and how amazing their dad is hahaha.

I ship Setsuna with Hisui, by the way. The two have been working together for years and clearly Hisui cares a lot for Setsuna (every time there’s a fight he seem to be watching out for Setsuna a lot). I wish they’d show flashbacks of how the two became close as coworkers/friends at least. Anyways, imagine Jaken seeing the two close and has suspicions but doesn’t trust Hisui enough (even if he is Kohaku’s nephew as he doesn’t know the boy well yet).

Also, I was kinda disappointed at episode 14, I think, with the whole Towa’s smartphone thing as Setsuna didn’t know what it was and stuff. I mean, they showed Towa’s phone works it’s basic properties only without internet (someone pointed out that they could’ve been charging it with the bike like they showed in one of the uh, I have no idea what it’s called. Scene shows up every end of OP). The camera works, too and I was hoping Towa would take a picture of the three of them. I know it’s no big deal but she probably also has photos of her adoptive family on that. Just imagine her taking that photo and every time she opens it she could see photos of her family and once Rin and Sesshoumaru are with them she’ll have a family photo taken and another one with her aunt and uncle and cousin Moroha. I mean, it’s cute... I think it’s cute!

The later the twins could accompany their dad on whatever adventure he gets to and when they get home Rin is there to welcome them all back. Or just Sesshoumaru coming back home and he now has a wife and two kids waiting for him and that wasn’t a thing before and maybe even Towa would try having bonding moments with her entire family.

Also, Inuyasha and Kagome are trapped at the grave of Inu-no-Taishou so the new trio would probably go there, too. Imagine them seeing their grandpa’s grave. Someone on twitter made a joke about how Moroha might want to sell her grandpa’s corpse and I know she probably has a line she wouldn’t cross but it would be funny if the twins look at Moroha suspiciously with Moroha being outraged that they even thought she would do something like that.

Oh and the twins meeting their grandmother! I’m sure as heck Sesshoumaru’s mother wouldn’t be surprised he had hanyou kids. She totally saw it coming after Sesshoumaru saved Rin from death a second time. I wonder if they’ll get along? With the way Sesshoumaru’s mother talks and the twins personalities it makes me wonder how conversations would go.

Of course I still want Kagome to be able to visit her family and properly introducing Moroha this time around. I just want family bonding about them! And Moroha showing her great-grandpa that she kept the kappa’s foot all this time and really does appreciate it and how it helped her in battle.

Of course, Seshoumaru and Rin meeting the Higurashis - Sota, Moe, and Mei. Towa introducing her two families to each other! Mei would be happy to see her two big sisters again and Rin would be talking to Moe and thanking her for raising Towa and there’s Sota who probably would be talking to Sesshoumaru about Towa and how she grew up and Sesshoumaru would act aloof and all but he’s totally listening and is proud of his kid. That said Kohaku would also tell Lord Sesshoumaru about how amazing Setsuna is as a demon slayer.

I know the above is unlikely but still... just imagine! That’d be sooo nice! After all the crap they went through they’d just be happy together.

Also I just imagine the reunion after the trouble in the series with Rin getting her kids back and Sesshoumaru watching over them not saying anything and Jaken is crying tears of joy saying how his Lord Sesshoumaru is happy that his family is together again and Moroha looking at her uncle and is like “He is?” cause the guy isn’t smiling at all on the outside lol.

I couldn’t sleep last night just thinking about these. I know it’s probably OOC for many of them but just let me have my fun hahaha.

I’ll make another Yashahime post sooner or later cause I’m enjoying the series so far. I’m excited for the next episodes! And holy crap I didn’t realize how long this would be!

*****TROUBLED BLOOD SPOILERS AHEAD******

Okay so I am going to start with the non ship stuff first because once that begins I will become slightly incoherent lol

• I love Barclay. He is so freaking funny. His friendship with Robin is everything. “You need to learn to read the room, mate.” I think he will be coming for Ilsa’s number one spot on the “Cormoran & Robin Shipper” list soon. 

• Speaking of Ilsa “It’s Robin’s birthday, you total dickhead.” I love it so much. Hoping for a miracle baby for her and Nick next book.

• I enjoyed the case. The characters seemed so developed and realistic. I really didn’t see the murderer coming. I also loved how it brought up why we trust certain people without a second thought. 

• I had very few disappointments in this book (besides not having a kiss which I wasn’t truly expecting) but my 2 were 1. That Strike didn’t go to his Dad’s party. Idk I really wanted that for his character even if he ever does reconcile with him it won’t be at a public event, I just really wanted to him to go and of course bring Robin. 2. That Robin wasn’t at Joan’s funeral. The flowers were lovely though. 

• Speaking of Joan <3 <3 <3 “I wish I had met your Robin.” I cried. I think it was really important for Strike to know Joan was proud of him and that he can think of that and her when he looks at the ocean. 

• Delving in to Strike’s psyche more was amazing. Learning more about his childhood. His mixed emotions about Leda. Yes. Yes. Yes. 

• I also loved Robin’s journey in this book. I’m also about to turn 29 and in a transition point in my life and how people kept saying “she was traveling in a different direction than the rest of us” really resonated with me. 

• I’m super excited about Michelle joining the agency. Robin needs another female coworker. Speaking of, I love what Pat brings to the team, especially her dynamic with Strike.

• I CHEERED when Strike manipulated Creed like that will be awesome on screen.

OKAY NOW TO THE SHIP STUFF * cracks knuckles *

• I don’t think I have every loved a literary couple this much. The way JK manages to grow and develop their relationship each book sighhh 

• THE AMOUNT OF TIMES I shouted “COMMUNICATE YOU IDIOTS” WHILE READING THIS BOOK lol but they do and when they do sighhhhh okay sorry can’t skip to the end

• I find it really funny that in a group chat on here I said I wanted holiday fluff L O L

• I was so upset for Robin on her 29th. I can’t believe he forgot but BOYYYY DID HE MAKE UP FOR IT

• Okay so let’s start the holiday fuck ups: Christmas

What a classic man. Waiting the last minute to buy presents and agonizing over it. Then he’s going to buy her perfume which just so happens is exactly what she wanted on her birthday (and yes he gets a major hint from Ilsa but still). 

AND THEN HE PANICS because picking perfume for someone is pretty intimate and he was basically delirious because of fever AND HE GETS HER CHOCOLATES sighhhh I felt so bad for how stupid he was unknowingly being. 

Her gift for him is so thoughtful and the only thing that cheers up his miserable Christmas <3

• Next, bloody Valentine’s Day: What a disaster. Robin finally lets out her frustrations on him and I think he was genuinely shocked. She had NEVER said anything like that to him. Strike has said several times how he appreciates “Robin being the only woman in his life who wasn’t trying to change him.” He thought she had no complaints because she kept quiet. It wounds him.

“And don’t buy me any more fucking flowers!” I was so worried he would take this as wanting no romantic gestures but he didn’t <3 and they even joke about it later <3

Then he thinks women never want him to apologize first (really Cormoran???) and isn’t going to call first BUT HE DOES he calls and it’s kind of a lame apology but HE CALLS FIRST. 

• The banter the entire book was amazing because GUYS THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS.

• TIME FOR CHAPTER 58: “Romantic Whiskey in the Dark” aka THE BEST CHAPTER TILL 73 The intimacy, honesty, and vulnerability of this scene * clutches chest *

“I’d like to go to the Ritz please”… lol little did we know

He finally tells her about his Dad and half siblings pestering him. He even tells her about his childhood (y’all I couldn’t believe it). Picturing young Cormoran with too short pants, anxious to meet his Dad, and then the crushing realization that he didn’t want to see him. Then him calling Strike an accident in front of him. My heart broke.  

Robin FINALLY asks him about Charlotte and he tells her about her overdose and how much anxiety that was giving him.

I feel like typing Strike’s entire inner monologue starting with “How could he say, look, I’ve tried not to fancy you since you first took off your coat in this office…” but just do yourself a favor and read Chapter 58 again (I’ll be reading it & 73 at least 5 times each today lol).

Then he brings up Ilsa trying to set them up. * flails *

They talk about Matthew and Sarah because they are sharing. And guys, sharing is truly caringggg.

Then they have the conversation about wanting to have kids. (I have a few idk meta? thoughts about all the foreshadowing in this book about them having a kid together).

I absolutely love how Robin calls him out on his “self-indulgence.” I’m not saying Strike will ever change his mind about kids but I loved that she challenged his reasoning. They are so perfect together I swear.

Alright and now for episode 23! Which was a lot more interesting. Still lacking in pertinent ways but at least it got some stuff moving, and there were a few small but very nice character moments.

I took a LOT of Taichi spam this week you guys. The animation was slightly better than normal and my boy was just so good.

We pick up where we left off last week, with Devimon arriving in his true form and picking a fight over Poyomon. He’s so threatened by a wad of jelly.

He does seem a bit weird though. More on that later.

So okay, Devimon makes mincemeat of MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon. Like he wipes the floor with them. Even though they should be a level above him. I was like what’s going on. Clearly dark powers are giving him extra strength, but this still seemed like too much...

Yamato yells for Takeru to go hide. Taichi then yells for Yamato to go hide xD However Devimon has no trouble destroying all their possible hiding spots and attacking them.

Taichi quickly tries to think of a strategy but yup “Hide” is all he can come up with.

They communicate via digivice and Yamato has something of a better strategy but... it still just amounts to hiding.

Meanwhile their partners continue to get their butts kicked.

Taichi: Would you two stop fussing, you’re so vain!

Taichi: We’ve got more important things to worry about! Like my hair!

Meanwhile in the real world... the four are together and Koushirou updates Jou and Mimi on the situation, which boils down to Not Good. The tank ships are still on a collision course. On top of that, Koushirou notices that the data being absorbed by Calmaramon’s... idk what to call it, data collection tower? thing, is being sent directly to the digital world. He guesses it’s going to be used to power the creature whose name I forgot they fought before.

Koushirou also guesses this probably means Taichi and Yamato are in some deep shit rn.

Taichi is pretty smart too... he’s able to tell that Devimon is able to manipulate the dark mists and that’s how he’s able to find their hiding spots and attack them so easily.

Here’s the evil crystal that I would have thought was from Sailor Moon. Ahhh evil is so beautiful. And purple. Hmmm, the Crest of Knowledge is also purple, and absorption of data is converted to power.... GUYS KOUSHIROU’S GOING TO GO DARK.

Kidding, kidding. I would totally watch it though.

So the others go to fight Calmaramon and destroy the tower to help Taichi and Yamato. But, uh, they didn’t count on Calamaramon’s tentaclesx ;D

Kabuterimon makes the classic amateur mistake of DRAMATICALLY ANNOUNCING HIMSELF when he swerves in to rescue the girls...

... and he gets his just desserts. :P

Meanwhile Taichi and Yamato... are still losing. So who steps up to the plate but...

Takeru and Poyomon! Lol!

No seriously, this scene SCREAMED of the one in 99 where Hikari sacrifices herself to protect Yamato and Sora. I was really expecting Takeru to do the same thing here. “Leave my brother alone! Take me instead!”

But, I guess, since he’s a boy, he’s less self-sacrificial and more just... irrationally strong...

His conviction results in evolution!

Poyomon becomes Tokomon! THANK GOODNESS. I could not handle another “poyo, poyo!”

Devimon takes one look at this pink-cheeked thing and FREEEEEEAKS OUUUUUT.

“You remind me... of someone I once knew... you have... the same eyes... GRRRRRRRRR!!!!”

he didn’t say that but he totally should have lol. Now someone please make an edit of Angemon where he takes off his helmet and he has Tokomon eyes underneath x���D

Data readings on Koushirou’s computer start going haywire! The data is being sent somewhere fast!

I was expecting some kind of power up but I wasn’t expecting full on evolution. Because yup. That’s what goes down. Devimon evolves.

And here’s where he gets weird. His evolution seems painful. Unnatural. He doesn’t seem exactly pleased with it, to be frank. He’s really agitated by Tokomon but he doesn’t do much in the way of monologuing and it’s not even clear that the evolution is by his own design. It just kind of seems to happen. Then, once he does evolve, he’s much less talkative. This is generally not the sign of sanity or even sentience. It’s like Devimon is imprisoned by his evolution, which goes on a rampage.

Neodevimon. Actually, original Devimon is scarier but :P

Lol and then Tokomon gets blown out of Takeru’s arms and goes for a tumble while Takeru runs frantically after him xD Great moment.

Rollin rollin rollin, though the streams are swollen...

NeoDevimon is very powerful but y’know... WereGarurumon just STOOD there. This... this is totally his fault that he gets hurt here x’D

Taichi is displeased with this development, and yet, still cute in his displeasure.

Finally Koushirou manages to get through! Taichi is too preoccupied to jump for joy or anything but you can see that he’s excited. “Koushirouuuuu please save us!!!” basically that’s what’s going on

However he’s right away blown over and his digivice scatters and the signal drops...

Yamato is very Stressed.

However, contact with Koushirou has rejuvenated Taichi.

LIKE THE PHOENIX HE RISES FROM THE ASHES

Taichi: “FUCK THIS SHIIIIIIIIIT!”

His renewed conviction becomes power. Yeah, that’s a thing, we know.

Meanwhile, in the human world, the others have worked out that Taichi and Yamato are fighting and need help, and they combine the powers of their own passionate hearts in a classic shonen anime trope.

Koushirou gets a special moment all to himself! It’s really fast but still, the episode makes a point of focusing on Koushirou’s desire to connect with his friends and help them. I choose to believe this a nod to Koushirou’s significant role in the show and a way of saying “Sorry they’re not all together right now but they will be soon and characters other than Taichi and Yamato will get to do cool things in the not so distant future!”

Their partners are then able to defeat Calmaramon and destroy the data collection tower.

BOOM, baby.

Meanwhile our heroes who never sleep manage to defeat Devimon. Which, I figured, meant he’d retreat for now, but...

He freaking dies! Yup, that’s right! Disintegrates!! I was like what the heck?? This was a Boss Battle???? It had none of the signs of being a boss battle other than the boss being present and it wasn’t even that hard...

However, it’s not over till it’s over...

... Tokomon looks on NeoDevimon’s death kind of creepily. Like, the episode makes a point of showing us Tokomon’s reaction, not just the group’s. So... I feel like this is gonna be relevant. I COULD BE WRONG. But I just personally wouldn’t stick this bit in without it meaning something. But that something could be pretty much anything so we still don’t know much.

The sailors aboard the tankers whose control systems are restored at the last second are pretty darn relieved anyway.

This was my favorite moment in epiosde, Mimi flinging herself over Koushirou and knocking Jou out of the way to hug Sora in her enthusiasm over their victory xD awww Mimi

Yamato wants to know what’s with Taichi. Taichi’s like, “The others helped us from afar, I just know it...” AND THAT’S WHY HE’S BEST BOY.

Yamato gives Takeru an adorable pat on the head and tells him good job. Only thing that could have made this moment cuter would have been if he also patted Tokomon’s head. BECAUSE HELLO. KID JUST EVOLVED. SAY HI AND TELL HIM YOUR NAMES AT LEAST.

But then! Darknightmon uses the dark crystal thingy and...!

Le gasp! NeoDevimon’s corpse emerges from the ground...

Taichi has a flashback to another time they thought they won only for their defeated opponent to be infused with dark energy and resurrect...

... uh I forgot this guy’s name too >_>

Taichi: “Wow I never saw this coming!”

Well, I did. :P Due to being over ten years old...

We end with NeoDevimon’s mask cracking off!

Creepy!

Final thoughts... it now kind of looks like Darknightmon is the one pulling Devimon’s strings rather than the other way around. But my guess is that’s not the case. It could also be that Devimon told Darknightmon to do this - after all, Devimon used the stone’s power to evolve Darknightmon before, and this is just the reverse of that. Or it could be they are equals and in cahoots with each other. I definitely think there’s an even greater, bigger Bad out there that they either work for or are afraid of etc something like that, I think we probably all feel sure of that at least. But Devimon in this episode really surprised me in the ways he seems to lack agency. He seemed like a pawn of evil rather than the chessmaster himself.

So next week! Looks lit!

Devimon’s new evolution? or power up? whatever is creepier than NeoDevimon so that’s a relief.

BUT THIS IS EVEN CREEPIER HOLY CRAP TAICHI! Get some sleep, your eyes are all red! (And he’s injured. His hand is where he got hurt two weeks ago fighting Splashmon right? He got hit with miasma. I wonder if this is the same wound and if it’s somehow controlling him due to the dark energy getting into his system... But everyone’s more or less been hit with the dark energy at this point so maybe not. Anyway, CREEPY EYES, CREEPY CREEPY EYES.)

Also Yamato DIES. He DIES y’all. *funeral march plays* Hmm, Tokomon looks hungry...

Then we got this bit which in case you can’t tell is Takeru being awesome. So I figured, ahh, THIS is the boss battle, and we’re gonna see Angemon again already... weird as that sounds :P

We also get this???? Taichi silhouetted against a brilliant light????? What does it mean? I mean we know Takeru has healing powers so I’m fully expecting that to happen but uhh are we also going to canonize Taichi next week? lol. Saint Taichi. I love him the best but I will be a bit miffed if next week IS the big boss battle and Takeru’s role is “power up Taichi so he can kill it” and that’s it... But I guess we’ll have to see.

It does rather look like they saved the animation budget for next week, the preview was nuts x’D Can’t wait.

• will have about 2 or 3 kids

• he’s caring and just a really good dad all around

• although he is a little high strung at times

• well in his defense his kids like to smart off to him first

• one time his kid was back talking him and Jin was all like “I don’t know where you get this attitude from!”

• the kid was like “I got it from you!”

• Jin often overreacts to when his kid gets hurt

• Yoongi is an absolutely adorable daddy

• I see Yoongi being very slow to anger

• he also will not raise entitled children

• he often times gives in to any of their requests

• loves to dance with his kids

• Hoseok is the type that if he has a daughter he’ll let her stand on his feet and the two of them will waltz around the living room

• want to know what Namjoon loves most about having kids?

• he now has travel buddies for when he goes off on adventures!

• will most definitely teach his kids how to look for crabs

• but normally he’s more into sitting down and conversing with his kids

• his kids will still be in diapers and he’s having deep talks with them about the world lol

• he’s the easiest dad to talk to

• and Namjoon will always lend his ear to them when they have something to say

• even if that something is about how they just had a slumber party with their imaginary friend

• This man never shows his anger to his kids

• Namjoon keeps a level head and disciplines his kids fairly

• I don’t know if Jimin would have just a couple kids or like 4

im so so so sorry it took me like 300 years to update but I just got no inspiration for this story. i'll not promise anything but i have a few ideas that i'll sooner or later write but im not sure when i'll actually post them. again, im sorry!

a few days passed and i really enjoyed my time here in paris. i'm now friends with juleka and rose, but i get along with almost everyone in class.

almost because chloé is still a bitch to me. i don't understand her but i don't think i want to. she is mean, even to her only friend sabrina. i hope she will treat us nicer in future.

today i'll go to juleka's house boat. i couldn't believe her when she told me she lives on a boat but she showed me a picture and damn. that shit is cool.

"hey, y/n. you ready?", juleka asked after our last class for today ended.

"yes, let me just grab a book from my locker", i smiled. i'm really excited to see this boat. in germany i've only been on a boat once and when i was five. i don't even remember it.

when i was searching for my book in my not so messy locker i heard a boy greeting juleka. i found my book and turned around-

i saw the most handsome boy i've ever seen. so that's juleka's brother. she could have warned me- he's fucking cute.

"hi, you're y/n, right?", handsome boy with perfect hair asked me.

"äh-ähm yeah, that's me. i'm y/n, hi". i mentally slapped myself. what's up with my stuttering?

"y/n, meet my brother luka", said juleka.

we started to walk out of the school, to the bus station.

"well, i would probably lock myself in a room for a week if i had moved to another country", juleka admitted.

we talked and laughed together the whole bus ride and the way to juleka's and luka's house boat.

"woah, it looks so damn cool!"

luka smiled. "wait until you see it from the inside"

we got on the boat and walked into a living room where a woman with grey hair and red glasses was reading a book.

"hello, mom", said juleka and tossed her bag on the floor.

"hello, you two. and hello young pretty lady, you must be y/n", she got up and reached her hand out.

we shaked hands and i blushed a little bit at the compliment she gave me. "yes, it's nice to meet you, ms couffaine"

"ah, screw that. call me anarka"

i nodded. "okay"

anarka then turned around to her kids. "who wants food?"

five minutes later we all sat on the deck eating y/f/f. juleka must have told her mother what i like.

"so, how was school today? luka, how was your history test?", anarka asked.

"well, i think i did well. it wasn't so hard", luka answered.

"what was it about again?", juleka asked her brother.

they are all so calm. like, literally, i've never seen juleka stressing out about something.

i hope luka doesn't have a girlfriend.

after we finished lunch i followed juleka to her room. it was pretty dark decorated but it looked nice.

"make yourself comfortable"

she didn't need to say that twice, i let myself fall on her bed and closed my eyes.

"can we do the homework later?"

juleka chuckled. "first work, then the fun"

i groaned but still grabbed my bag back to get my homework.

i started with maths, but i didn't understand it so i asked juleka.

"sorry, i don't understand it. how about you ask my brother? i think he knows that"

i froze. "no-no. he's your brother, you have to ask him"

"wouldn't you mind to spend some time with him? hm?", juleka asked with a grin.

juleka pushed me out of her room. i have a feeling she already ships luka and me.

tbh I already thought of our ship name. (a/n as for me it would be miluka lol)

i saw a door with 'luka' on it so i knocked.

"come in", luka's calm voice said.

i opened the door slowly, he sat on his bed with a guitar on his lap.

i would like to change place with the guitar.

"hi- uhm. i need help with my math homework and juleka said i should ask you"

he gave me a smile. "come on, sit down. i'll see what i can do"

i walked to luka's bed and sat down next to him. i gave him my book and explained to him what i didn't understand.

"so, uhm- do you now what the book wants me to do?"

luka chuckled and nodded. he told me what to do and explained everything to me.

"it's not that difficult if you now what to do", he handed me my book and smiled softly.

"thank you, luka. now i understand that crap", i said and got up from his bed.

"yeah, math sucks, i know"

i walked to the door and turned around. "thanks again, i won't disturb you anymore"

"you didn't", he simply said.

i smiled and left his room.

"he helped me, now i understand that shit", i told juleka as i entered her room again.

she grinned like a little school girl. "that's nice to hear "

after we finished our homework juleka and i decided to go up on the deck.

"mom wants us to play for the fe dela music in- i think it's in two weeks", juleka said.

rose and juleka already told me about their band. they even asked me if i want to join but i didn't want to. i loved music but i'm fine with just listening to it.

we stood on something that will sooner or later be a stage. it was a mess, instruments were laying around everywhere.

"do you guys have a name for you band?", i asked. when they told me about the band, they said they don't have a name yet.

"we have a few in mind but we haven't decided on one yet"

i nodded and picked up a guitar from the ground. "is it hard to play a guitar?"

juleka shook her head. "if you know how it works then not, but i don't think you know how a guitar works"

"i know when you stretch the strings it makes a tone"

"congrats, i'm mind-blown"

after that juleka taught me a little bit about how to play the guitar. at first i was horrible but at the end i could actually play a few tones.

"you're not so bad, actually"

"thanks"

"how was your day with juleka?", my mom asked me as soon as i got home.

"it was super! we played the guitar and then rose and luka came to us and- it was really funny", i told her.

mom smiled. "that's nice to hear, but who is luka?"

i blushed a bit. "he's juleka's brother"

after a short chat with my mom i walked into my room and collapsed on my bed. fortunately, tomorrow's saturday which means i don't have to go to school. marinette asked me if i wanted to go to the cinema with her, alya and nino. i'm already excited about that.

BnHA Chapter 173: Campus Tour

Previously on BnHA: Class A hashed out everyone’s roles for the upcoming band performance/dance party. Momo wound up on keyboard, Jirou is doing vocals in addition to bass, and Kaminari and Tokoyami will be playing guitar. A staging team was also assembled, consisting of Aoyama, Sero, Kirishima, Kouda, and Shouto. And the rest of class A (as well as Aoyama again, for some reason) will be on the dance team. The next day Deku went to meet with All Might. He explained that he could only maintain 20% OFA for a short while and that it wasn’t enough to beat Overhaul and he needed some sort of long distance attack. All Might was all “then LET’S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE, SON”, and they went out to the forest and he had Deku activate 20% OFA and do a cool wind attack and fuck up some trees! And long story short, basically Deku has to learn how to utilize 20% OFA in just his hands rather than in full cowl, so that way he can whip out the wind attack whenever he wants without putting too much strain on himself. Having settled that, we then fast-forwarded one month later to the day of the cultural fest, (ETA: nope) with Mirio bringing Eri to U.A.

Today on BnHA: Mirio and Deku take Eri on a fun tour of U.A. to help her get a little more familiar with the place before the chaos and commotion of the festival. During the course of their wanderings they first come across the members of class B who are constructing the set and props for the fantasy play they’ll be doing in the festival. They then stop by to greet Hadou (who’s running for Miss Con which is basically a beauty pageant thing) and Tamaki before heading down to the support department, where they ooh and ahh at Mei’s cool giant robot. Finally they take a breather in the cafeteria and ask Eri what she thinks. She says she’s not sure, but since everyone is trying their hardest, she wants to see how it will turn out. The kids take that as a win, and Rat Principal -- who is sitting at a table nearby -- says that he’s excited too. We have a brief flashback to a meeting he had with the Commissioner General, who wanted U.A. to cancel the event. Rat Principal begged him to reconsider, saying that he felt it was necessary for the students. In the end they got the okay, on the stipulation that if the security is breached or the alarm goes off for any reason, the event will immediately be called off and evacuated. Back in the present, Deku bids Eri farewell, and one week later Mina abruptly boots him off of the dance team.

(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’ve read up through chapter 199 now, so any ETAs will reflect that.)

apparently the principal quite rightly said that Eri should visit on a quieter day first so she could get used to being around people since she’s been cut off from society until now and they don’t want her to get overwhelmed

and she is indeed shyly running back to Mirio and taking his hand

Lastly is Clarke just chilling in her room? Like the promo picture we dont get to see that not even a glimpse why not!?! Like also cant we get just a little of Lexa even if its just revisiting the past with Clarke through memories to where nothing new needed to be filmed with Lexa just idk Clarke chilling with a bunch of her memories and bringing back the people she loves even if its just in her mind for some comfort.

SYTYCD Tour Recap

Y’all.....this is a face of distrust and regret. Like any good recap, this will be lengthy so it is going after the break.

First things first, we bought these tickets a few months ago for Abs, me, and 2 of my coworkers.  One coworker has since left the company but was still going to go until about noon yesterday when she was informed she had to work mandatory overtime at her new job leaving me with Abs and my coworker I’ll refer to as A.  Let’s just say I had my hands full with those two.  All day long A was walking around the office making grabby hands because she said she needed to warm up for grabbing Slavik.  This is the same coworker who wants to go to DWTS with me and wonders if Artem will let her rub his abs.  Coincidentally, this is the person who killed my dream that one day Abs would become a reasonable adult.  I had high hopes that she would be sane during the bus meets........

 Pre Show......We went for a quick dinner at Panera where A laid out her plans to Abs and swore Abs to secrecy so that she wouldn’t warn anyone that she was planning to squeeze some cheeks.  We got to the theater about 6:15ish for a 7:30 show.  We parked and found the buses and sat on the benches watching for dancers.  We did see Cole, JayJay, Lauren, and Chelsea but it was too close to show time for them to come over so they all shouted hello and said they’d see us after. 

Showtime.......We got inside the theater, bought Abs her shirt, and climbed Mt Everest to get to our seats.  Then we laughed at our my ability to find the most hysterically amazing nosebleed seats.  But hey, me and A were like “Sorry, Abs, cheap seats for the win!”  They were actually FABULOUS seats we saw everything and no one got altitude sickness.

 Intermission.....Abs and A were still talking about Slavik (I wish I could have snuck a picture of A’s face when he danced his solo.  It was hysterical.  The thirst is real).  While they were going on I looked down and saw security and the police and we all cracked up.  We were texting the rest of the office in the group chat and they were all placing bets on which one of us would be arrested and who was gonna have to bail us out.  I am sure this isn’t as funny to you guys but we were crying laughing after Abs and A’s conversation.

 Post Show Bus Shenanigans......OMG Y’all!  OMG!  This was the best bus experience!  Aside from the drizzly rain which we hid from in a doorway outside of the bus.  There were only about 15-20 of us out there and everyone came out to see us.  We were standing with 2 ladies in ballgowns and the sweetest family with the cutest daughter.  The one lady was obsessed with Lauren.  Like “name your car after her and get a vanity plate with her name and season number on it” type obsessed.  She was intense...and really really tall. 

First out was Cole and Slavik.  They came over after stashing their things on the bus and Cole immediately looks at the crowd and yells “Who’s gonna give me a hug?  I need a hug!”  Abs came to his aid right away.  Abs released Cole from her grips and Cole looked at me and was like “OMG!  It’s Katie!  You’re a superfan!  Thank you for always supporting me!”  The Ballgowns jaws dropped and they were like “OMG!”  He gave me a huge hug and thanked us for coming out and started asking  the adorably sparkly little girl next to me about her favorite dances while he stood there with his arm slung over my shoulders.  I never got a picture with Abs and Cole....whoops.  He ended up walking by us about 5 or 6 times stopping for hugs each time. 

While I was talking to Cole I was oblivious as to the horror happening behind us.  I turned around and saw this......

Y’all.....this is a face of distrust and regret. The Ballgowns were talking to Slavik and Abs and A were cackling.  I said “Oh God, what did you do?!?!”  Apparently A got two juicy handfuls of Slavik.    However, he was SUPER nice and laughed as well.  Abs pitched her ship name and he was all about some Javik. It is of note that lots of people wanted autographs and The Ballgowns had a sharpie.  Cole kept coming back to borrow it because Slavik wasn’t coming back in our direction....not without security at least.

 Next out were Cyrus and Lauren....The Ballgowns were EXCITED!  Cyrus came over to us first and he’s so nice!   He had his fanny pack…who decided these things needed a come back.  They should be exiled from making decisions ever again. He did the robot with Lil Miss next to us and it was the cutest thing.  After we talked to Cyrus we turned around and The Ballgowns were showing Lauren the pictures of the car.  Lauren mentioned that Faith the Merch Lady had told her that they would be waiting for her.  She was very pleased to meet her superfans as well. 

  Abs made her dance pose.  It was super cute.  

Then came Darius and JayJay.  I freakin love me some them!  They were both FULL of energy and so fun.  Abs and JayJay are new besties and JayJay says we’re twinsies because of the mustard yellow tops we were wearing.  FYI….Darius absolutely owns the stage and even prettier in person. JayJay pulled a Cole and had to stop and hug his new bff every time he walked by. 

 Genessy came next and made her way very quickly down the line.  I’m not sure if she didn’t feel well or was tired or just doesn’t like crowds but she basically just took a quick selfie and moved on.  She was out and in in about 5 min.  She did stop to hear Abs Javik pitch and said she’d run it by Slavik…..they created a monster and it’s hysterical.  She’s so damn proud of her ridiculous ship name.  

Then came Evan.  He went pretty quickly through also but talked a bit with the sparkly cutie next to us because she taps.  I have still never figured out why he doesn’t dance in Juice and lost my nerve to ask him. Dude can tap like a dream though! The only thing that bothered me was that his taps were dubbed in the audio, which is strictly logistical because duh they have to, and he was slightly off both times and that kind of thing annoys the shit out of me.  It was like when the sound and the lips don’t match on the tv.  It’s one of my biggest pet peeves.  It also made me feel a little bad for him as a performer because I know that dancers/singers/anyone really switch it up here and there and he won’t ever be able to.  Man that man’s feet can move.

Hannahlei, Jensen, and Magda all came out together and honestly, I initially felt a little overwhelmed because OMG they’re all right there!  All the girls Abs and I wanted to meet!  However, we most definitely did get to meet with each of them.

Abs was VERY excited to report that she’s taller than Hannahlei.  It’s the little things in life when you’re a short person. 

And Jensen....who is every bit as exuberant in person as she is on TV.  Pure sweetness and energy.

And then the queen herself.....Magda!  She went to The Ballgowns and the adorable girl next to me while we were taking pics with the other two.  Once they walked away she did the cutest scream/squeal and fangirled while I almost passed out because HOLY CRAP!  It’s Magda!  Her stage presence is absolute fire and she is just the sweetest in person.  We talked and hugged and talked and hugged. 

Me and my idiot fan self is all “I’m KatieAmazeballs” and she laughed and said “I know exactly who you are!  I’m so glad to finally meet you!”  Y’all.....Y’ALL!  Night was freakin made!

After Magda and I talked (she was the only one still out there because the massive crowd of 20ish had pretty much dispersed) Abs and A had figured out we only had Chelsea left.  Abs asked if Madga would go get her.  She said she’d go find her but that she may not come out because she hadn’t been feeling the best earlier.  She went to the bus, got up on the first step, and yelled “Yo, Chelsea!!!!!  Get out there and meet your fans!”  Out came a very perky Chelsea who apologized that she was stuffing her face with pizza in the bus instead of meeting fans.  She asked if we had any questions about tour life and Abs wanted to know how bus life worked.  She explained the lay out of the bunks and Abs said she couldn’t do it because she’d roll out.  I said I couldn’t because I’m ridiculously claustrophobic and she said there’s actually more room than it looks and that it doesn’t bother her claustrophobia at all.  Then Abs asked if anyone snores.  Chelsea said she doesn’t know because once she hits her bed she falls asleep pretty fast so she’s never noticed....but outed JayJay as a sleep talker.  Abs is truly his kindred spirit.

Now that we were done, we made Abs stand here for this picture because pre show she was ahead of us and was super grossed out by the “male toilet” right out there in the open. 

We came around the corner and died laughing because apparently my kid has never seen a pay phone before.  Then she picked it up and immediately freaked out because “IT’S RINGING!!!!!”  That was the moment I realized she’d never heard a dial tone before.  Kids these days.  Lol.  We were still laughing on and opening car doors when we heard this CRUNCH that sounded like someone crumpled about 6 water bottles at once.  We jerk around and some dude had his car on top of the damn yellow pole.  Then we speculated the whole way back to the office (where A’s car was) about how he was gonna play that one off to the insurance company.  Now to today.  It is overcast and dreary and A and I are so tired but everyone at work is much relieved that we both made it out without handcuffs.

Astro: MJ 

Tbh, what better person to keep you happy and smiling than this bub right here. MJ is a very sweet and goofy man(which I stretch that term) and he would always be doing something goofy to get you smile, and he wouldn’t be opposed to telling horrible jokes, don’t test him, he’ll do it. Another reason why I ship you with MJ is that I personally feel like he is in the middle of an extrovert and introvert himself. He can be AASHFSDOFo and sdkfjflkj depending on the day if that makes sense? And of course you two would have your days where you’re hyped up, and then there are other days where you just wanna lay around and chill. A cute example of you two getting hyped while you’re out would be really goofy but super cute dancing in a store if a bop would come on. Awkward arm movements, finger snapping, and head bopping would be your best moves, and you two would not only make each other laugh, but you would grab the attention of some patrons nearby and they’d be amused and think you two are super cute. And since we’re on the topic of hype, lemme tell you that MJ would be your #1 hype man. This man would be 110% supportive of anything you do. You wanna run for student council? MJ: “DO IT.” You wanna try out for the tennis team? MJ: “LET’S GO GET YOU A RACKET!” You wanna try out for the school play? MY: “I’LL HELP YOU LEARN YOUR LINES.” MJ would forever be supporting and hyping you up no matter what the situation may be. And you two would also help mom each other. You’d do an amazing job keeping his head in line when it’s comeback time and he’s stressed out, and MJ would help you out with any homework or chores you needed to do, and he would also keep up with your schedule and help remind you of errands you would need to run- you got each others backs. Moving on, a special thing I could see this ball of fluff doing is bringing you some roses every now and then. He’d get a mini half bouquet of one and he’d by one of your favorite candies to go along with it. It would always warm your heart, and you best believe he would get mushy and let you know how much he loves you. I feel like date nights would be more chill than anything. You’d go out and grab some snacks and a little store nearby and come back for a movie night full of cuddles and laughs. And then for special occasions, you and MJ would either go out for anniversaries or go out with the rest of Astro to dinner to celebrate their comeback, and of course you’d dressed up. And regarding PDA, I feel like MJ would like to be more mushy and soft with the PDA. Now don’t get it twisted, you’d always give the PDA back, but you would be more mild about it. And then there are those days where you start to feel really mushy and some really soft and gentle PDA will peek through, I love the thought of it!

EXO: Suho

So basically a mom for mom when it comes to you two, but hear me out. One thing I can see Suho doing is that he would be head over heels for his S/o. He would pamper them to death, and you best believe that you’re getting pampered. Suho would give you anything and everything you could ever need. And of course along with the pampering is your normal lovely dovey love we all love. Suho’s philosophy would be that pampering his S/o would be one way to show how much he loves you. Whether you’d realize it or not, you would give Suho so much happiness and worth, a little bit of pampering is the least he could do. And tbh, he would honestly never really expect any materialistic items back from you either. Suho would know that you love him from the bottom of your heart, and that would be the best and only present you would ever need to give to him. And continuing our fluff filled aesthetic we got going on, staying at the dorm to enjoy each others company. And then sometimes laying in bed would get too boring, so one of you would crack out the bops and you would dance around the apartment doing cute improvised dances. It would always be a fun time for the both of you, and it would always be a fun time full of laughs and fun memories. Carnival dates- holy crap let’s talk about this. Suho would be that boyfriend that will spend tens and tens of dollars to win you that teddy bear, and no matter what will happen, you are going home with that bear. And then after ten tries, you happily have the giant bear in your arms, and you splurge a little bit on the carnival food. Getting one of those giant lemonades and sharing it, and then feeding each other funnel cake, omg it would be so much fun and a small movie night would follow. It would be so cute if you fell asleep in the middle of the movie. Suho would happily cover you up more with the blanket and cuddle your closer so you could get more comfortable and you two would sleep on the couch for the night. Learning EXO’s choreo’s together when it was comeback time. Tbh, it wouldn’t matter if you would be practicing in the practice room or the dorm, you two would teach each other the dance, and it would be an amazing opportunity for Suho to get some more practice. Mirror selfies that would go on Instagram. You gotta feed the fans some fluff every now and then, and whether you’re hiding behind sweater paws and Suho is giving you a peck on the head, or you’re shoving the camera in Suho’s face for meme Su, the pictures are always adorable. And a bit more PDA rather than MJ. Mostly hand holding and hugs. But when you two see camera’s around, you’ll pull out the cheek and forehead kisses just to show everyone how cute you are together.

Monsta X: Shownu

When I was thinking about who to ship you with, I genuinely feel like Shownu and you would be an amazing duo. Shownu is normally a quiet and loving guy, and you could be that sweet and loving puzzle piece that he needs to complete the puzzle. As always, smiles are always around. Whether you’re messing with him on purpose to get him to smile, or you just do something really cute by being you and Shownu is smiling really big, there is always smiles when you two are together. Rather than one of those couples that enjoy going out all the time, I can see you and Shownu wanting to stay indoors a lot of the time, cuddled under a blanket and laying together peacefully. And when Shownu would get days off, those are always your favorite. Due to some really intense schedules depending on what’s going on in the week, Shownu would be sleeping all day, but you wouldn’t mind it in the slightest to be honest. You’d keep him cuddled close to you and he would be able to relax and enjoy you playing with his hair. It would be the ultimate healing time, and as busy and tiring as being a leader can be, Shownu deserves it 110% and you would never hold that against him for wanting to sleep for a bit. But of course there are some days where Shownu has the energy to go out and you two will go to a local mall and he’ll buy you lunch and you’ll do a little bit of shopping, and hopefully run into some fans so you can kill them with fluff. I can also seeing Shownu wanting to buy you little things here and there. Presents are always a fun surprise to keep going in a relationship, keeps the surprise factor there. And of course since he bought you something, you would buy him something. And if you were to buy him a hat or something, you best believe that Shownu is going to be seen EVERYWHERE wearing that hat. And Shownu would want to buy you little presents as one little source of gratitude for being so patient and understanding with his work. There are days and sometimes weeks where you don’t normally get to see each other, and the fact you would be patient and understanding enough to support him would mean the world to Shownu, and he’d be forever grateful for you. Moving on, I can see date night being more like traditional type of style. And when I say traditional, I mean like you two would have certain places you would go to for food, or entertainment. You'd both keep it plain jane and sweet, because you don’t need a big and fancy dinner date to have a good time. And girl, PDA with this one, buckle up. I feel like Shownu would be grabby, but in the cutest way. Hand holding, Shownu pecking your cheeks and forehead, him whining if you leave the table to use the bathroom, HUGS, that infamous eye smile with the squish cheeks. You two would be so amazing together! Like a papa and mama bear ;) 

Seventeen: Seungkwan

And last but not least, our lovely Jeju sweet pea, Seungkwan. First off, I for one can say there would be so much love, and so much sass. You two would enjoy teasing each other quite often, and of course when you’re teasing to kid and show some love and jokes, you both can get into a full out sass war, and you two are tied when it comes to who wins and who loses, it’s always fair game in the sass wars. But past the sass, Seungkwan would be madly in love with you tbh and he would not be afraid to show it either. And when I say he isn’t afraid, whether it be video’s or pictures on social media, him talking about you two on a variety show, or just talking about you out of the blue, Boo Seungkwan would love you so freakin much. He would even wake you up one night and like two am and begin to tell yo how much he loves you. It would be really cute and funny too, since you would be sleepy and Seungkwan is pouring his heart out to you and you’d throw a pillow at him and tell him to go to sleep. It would get a little pouty, but before you would go back to sleep, you’d whisper, “I love you too Boo.” And Kwan’s heart would light up like a Christmas tree. Out of all the boys I’ve shipped you with, I honestly feel like you would go out the most with Seungkwan. He would really enjoy going out on adventures and wanting to make really fun memories, and enjoying the youth you both would have. Of course you wouldn’t stay out too late, sleep is a must if he isn’t up until two am pouring his heart out to you, but you two always come back to the dorm or your apartment with a little souviner from your adventure, and a story to tell. And like, any time Kwan would get a chance to go back to Jeju to visit family, you bet your booty that he’s taking you with him. Seungkwan is SO proud of where he is from, and he would want to show you where he’s from, how the island shaped him to be the sweet savage he is today, and of course he would want you to meet his family! And of course, if you were going home to visit your family, you would bring Kwan with you so he could see the town you grew up in, as well as meeting your family and having some really amazing bonding time. And again, with the roses, Seungkwan would bring you single red roses at least once a month with a little candy bar of your favorite candy. I can see him finding a cute cheesy reason, reason being it would be a cute monthly anniversary gift to you. And of course you melt bc he’s the sweetest boy ever. Seungkwan would also be the sweetest in supporting you whether it’ d be your academics, dancing, or work, whatever it be. He would be that perfect shoulder for you to lay on if you’d be stressed, and he would always be there to help you with homework if you would need it. And sometimes it may not be the best help, but it’s better than nothing, right? And last but certainly not least is PDA. I feel like you two would tease each other first, then get the mushy and gushy love afterwards. Like flicking each other or messing with each others hair or something. But of course you’d be wrapped up in Seungkwan’s arms at all times, and forehead kisses would be for daysssssss.

I did this last here (here it is) and it was fun, so I did it again.  I’m not gonna tag anyone, but you should do it, too!

1. “...why would I care?” (Jon/Lin) This was a test the waters fic-  at the time there were less than 30 fics on AO3 for this obviously wonderful pairing, so the community was still pretty tiny.  I got butt hurt about the way they demanded my compliance on an intentional publishing choice, so even though I really like this pairing, I’m never gonna publish in it again. (I don’t know if that’s a blessing or a curse for the fandom- probably doesn’t make much of a difference at all)  Cute fic though.  I stand by the fact that it’s adorable. (2,167 words)

2. A Captain meets a Pilot (Chris Pine/Oscar Isaac)  Pictures of Chris Pine and Oscar Isaac at D23 together surfaced.   I will (and do) ship Chris Pine with anything, so this just seemed like a no brainer. (1,461 words)

3. A Study in Backlit Light (Pinto) Zach lives in New York and instagrammed a picture of him looking lonely at the same time that Chris was in NYC.  Why not? (448 words)

4. I have a type (Richlee and Rich/Lee/Raul Esparza) Raul Esparza looks a little like Richard Armitage.  And Lee and he were on Pushing Daisies together.  Then he and Richard were on Hannibal together.  It really makes perfect sense to me, Bryan Fuller was obviously creating a situation for Lee (and my) dreams to come true (6,221 words)

Princess, Prisoner, Priceless (Greek Mythology) There was a writing contest- a really weird one that said “No fan fic need apply- just write about your favorite fairytales reimagined with smut.” and like… isn’t that exactly what fan fiction is?  I think they were looking for like, The Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast (But they also said not beastiality, so wtf?)  but I went with the tale of Danae, Mother of Perseus (slayer of Medusa) because I’m a fucking dork. Total Word Count: 85,387 words

Overall Thoughts: Well, I’ve drastically reduced my word count for this year. But I also seem to have stopped writing at the same time that I’d gone prolific in 2015.  And we all know what a terrible year this was.  I’m going to try not to beat myself up for the word count.  If I’m counting this right, I wrote for 11 different fandoms and a lot more pairings, compared to 7 fandoms last year. And I did do a little original fic- though definitely not enough finished!  I even managed to write a little poetry (which is always a yay-but-ugh sort of feeling) So I’m maybe not doing as much, but I’m stretching myself in some new ways, and that’s always nice.

Personal Best Story: Princess, Prisoner, Priceless.  It’s almost an original fic.  I’m getting there.  Plus, it was a lot of fun to research.  I’m sad that it’s not going to go anywhere, and there’s not much of a fandom to find it, but I still think it was pretty well done- and there was straight (ish- I’m not gonna claim Zeus is straight because that fucker is the most pansexual deity in existence) sex, which I’m always worried about getting wrong.

Personal Favorite Story: Traveling Soldier I just really, really loved this whole idea.  I don’t know why I wanted to write it- We were doing a challenge for Richard’s birthday and it was a lot of fun in that respect, but I have no idea what drove me to write about Army doctors and their teen-aged boyfriends.

Most Underappreciated Story: Cracked Love This is a story about a VCR and a VHS Tape.  I can’t actually expect anyone to find that, can I?  Do people even know what those are anymore? I’m not as tore up this year about not getting any attention.  Hopefully, that means I’m growing up a little, lol.

Most Popular Story: So, Apparently it’s Knights of Desire (?) Which I guess makes sense, most of my pairings are so much more random and rare, where as Merthur is much more popular ship.  Yay for that- though I’m sure my story gets lost in the mix of everyone else’s, comparatively.  There’s a lot of good stuff out there for them.

Story with the Sexiest Moment: I feel like I wrote a lot of smut this year, but apparently none of it published (yet)  There’s some car stuff that happens in Exactly the Right Mistake that really worked on me.

Most “Holy Crap That’s Wrong Even for Me” Moment: I wrote about a fork and a toaster falling in love.  I don’t know how I’m ever gonna beat that.

Story That Shifted My Perceptions of a Character: How Peter Got his Groove Back is really just a character study between Peter and Erik, and I really enjoyed allowing myself to do that with those two.

Most Fun to Write: Cracked Love. Definitely.  I mean, once you just throw your inhibitions and your sanity to the winds and just start writing to see if you can, you’d be amazed at what can happen.  It’s fucking fantastic.

Hardest Story to Write: “...why would I care?”  It’s not that the story was so hard to write- Jon and Lin fic basically write itself.  It was the reaction I got to the fact that I had left it unlocked. This year not as much, but my primary interest is and always has been writing RPF.  And I almost always keep it unlocked for a very specific reason- people are nervous about RPF, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to read it.  So I want to make sure that anyone who doesn’t have an account and still wants to read about anyone I happen to write can still get to it.  It’s never been a problem in the other two fandoms that I’ve been in- Pinto and RichLee.  Some people might lock their work, but no one has ever come onto one of my stories and demanded that I change mine, and here I was within days of posting in this very tiny community, getting told by numerous people that I HAD to lock it, and that I was being over dramatic- not by making a big fuss over it (which I hadn’t even gotten a chance to do) but by not automatically locking the work.  The irony, of course, of a fandom getting nervous about RPF about LIN MANUEL MIRANDA, whose current success is 100% DUE to his SONG FIC RPF, and who has literally posted VIDEO of him doing the exact same thing as the “naughtiest” thing I wrote them doing (kissing, I wrote Jon and Lin kissing and apparently that needed to be hidden, lest either of them find it) is not lost on me. I know it’s been almost a year, and I should totally be over this, but I’m not.  Because it reminds me how hypocritical people can be about RPF, which is just plain stupid.

Favorite OC: Elpis from Princess, Prisoner, Priceless. I’m not really much for original characters in fic (I say that, but I honestly have no clue if my stats back that up) but Elpis is super cute and I love her.

Biggest Surprise: Honestly? Finding out that  Knights of Desire  was my most popular story right now just surprised me.  I didn’t expect that at all!

Most Unintentionally Personal Story: Well, this doesn’t count as “unintentional” because it was for the “Take Your Fandom to Work” Challenge, but Exactly the Right Mistake put Lee in a very similar situation to mine- alcoholic non-profit office drone with not a lot of prospects.  And while HE gets to go off with amazing billionaire Richard, I’m still stuck here for the rest of my life.  Kinda a downer, really.  Still, a lot of fun to write.

Sir Mordred in Knights of Desire I really love Alexander Vlahos, but I also really, really love hate-fucking.

This is so cheesy, but I really love it: “A M67 hand grenade has a fatality radius of 16 feet.  Richard could throw one 100 feet.  The feeling of hearing a M67 go off, hoping it’s far enough, secretly hoping it hits nothing at all.  Kissing Joe was exactly the opposite of that feeling.”  (From  Traveling Soldier )

Lines/Scenes I’d Like to Change: I dunno.  I tend not to go back with fic.  Just forward and hopefully upwards in terms of writing.  But who really knows?  I’d like to go further with some stories.  There’s a whole second half to Exactly the Right Mistake that I’ll never write. And I’d love to do a whole series of sexy myths a la Princess, Prisoner, Priceless but time wise, I just don’t know that I’ll ever have it in me.

I’m still really into Peter Maximoff, too.  I’d love to write a real full story about him- though I’d have to stop shipping him with literally everyone first.  (Or maybe not.  Hmmmm….)
