the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

They actually make physical media for a much larger percentage of movies than they ever did in the past. Often with a lot more care than any small release was treated in the early dvd days. Its just if you only watch streaming stuff or the big new recent box office hits you won't see that. It is so ridiculously easy to get physical media for movies that even 5 years ago you couldn't even find. Like yes Netflix is a stingy bastard but so many things are available on disc WITH special features than ever before

my favorite scenario that i like to think about w/ the polycule is one where they're all at someone's house (most likely donna's) and laura's legs are drapped over both bobby and james while she's leaning against donna. she's talking about something, her day, the latest gossip she heard from word of mouth, her routes for meals on wheels, etc. and they're happily listening and asking questions here and there. donna's most likely braiding laura's hair or just looping it around a finger. bobby has an arm around her waist and his head against her shoulder, his eyes full of love. and james is leaning against bobby, hand on laura's knee, just happy to be there amongst his loved ones. just a moment of comfort for them all, a calm in amongst the storm that is laura's pain. here nobody can hurt her unless they hurt them first. they have each other and that's more than enough
