Just saw a post that was like "couples in rwby become canon when they hold hands as the scene's emotional focal point" and I'm just ???
Like I'd be far more lenient on this point if there was no kissing at all. Capcom games, as far as I'm aware, have zero kisses across the board even among canon couples. The closest I've seen is the ending of Devil May Cry 4 when Nero and Kyrie lean into each other before getting interrupted by demons. It's basically a running gag at this point
Not to mention the lead up and chemistry between characters are miles ahead of anything rwby attempts. You expect me to be impressed by lackluster, flaccid "canonizing" moments after witnessing Jake "Fuck you, I only care about money" Muller stare at Sherry like she hung the stars and saying in the most worshipful tone "You saved me... Thank you" as they ride a cart out of an exploding factory? And then to emphasize how much Sherry impacted him, Jake changes his asking price from $50 million per pint of his unique antibodied blood to a motorcycle and $50 for gas
Meanwhile, I didn't even realize that Nora still had feelings for Ren until V6 with the "Give me back my man" line, and Ren never showed any indication of being into Nora at all which is why the V7 conversation and kiss came out of the blue. Nor did Jaune ever show any romantic intent towards Pyrrha. These romances start and end at their kisses

RWBY: Favorite Characters
When it comes to characters from Rwby, I have a small list I hold close to my hearts, in other words, people that I like seeing on screen sometimes more than others.
Now most people have watched the series for years, and have tight opinion on characters, but I love how unique the appearance characters is and how they tie to the plot.
So for this post, I thought I speak on my top five faves.
Tumblr media
1. Mercury Black
Crazy to think that some Murderer’s son was going to be the first character that I liked.
Even funnier was, when I first watched the show, I thought that they wouldn’t put a character with some dead dad in the show, and five seconds later is Cinder and Emerald meeting this crazy boy who just straight killed his father.
What a legend in my opinion. But as soon as I saw that he was heading to Vacuo, I pretty much made the same expression as Emerald when he left, I pray that he shows in Volume 10, I don’t even care if he good or evil, I just want to see this cynical soul again.
“Ahem” Moving on.
Tumblr media
2. Oscar Pine
This kid pretty much was the world’s punching bag, all because Ozpin lived inside his head rent free, and while I like Ozpin, Oscar stole my heart with his earnst nature and the fact that he went on to face so much to aid Ruby and her friends.
Even better was the fact that he was such a character, that Team JOYRide wasn’t just going to abandon him, even when Jaune, Yang, and Ren were all working through their own issues.
General Ironwood saw that Oscar was going to give him the information that he wanted and needed to be taken out for it, hell even Cinder said that Oscar was right at the end of Volume 8, so please come on the evidence of a great character is there.
Finally, I also love the ship Rosegarden, and the fact that the dynamic between Oscar and Ruby is really fun to watch. The fact that they grow together as friends and characters, the fact that they both lean on each other, the fucking fumble before Oscar goes to confront Ironwood! Let me tell you, I could write a small essay, if I had the time.
Well time to move on again, cause I definetly don’t hve time for that.
Tumblr media
3. Cinder Fall
Now I know that everyone hates this character, that everyone depises her, but I love the idea of Fallen characters, the fact that Cinder is the true embioment of such a complex concept.
Even though her backstory arrived late, and the fact that she had failed so many times, its the fact that Cinder is meant to keep falling, she’s meant to keep being Cinderella, even though she no longer has evil stepsisters, she traded one stepmother for another.
Cinder has earned scars, burns, even a grimm limb for all the things that she had failed to achieve. People say that Cinder has no growth, but the fact that Cinder still has to kill, still has to betray, it shows that she has change, for the worse. The fact that she changed her mindset, only to be kicked down for all that can’t do.
Emerald is one of the few characters that cared about her, and because Cinder killed the only other person that ever felt that way about her, she changed herself to never put herself through something like that again, which is why she probably treats Emerald the way she does. Its all in the sense of mentality.
Time to get to the next character, no need to drag this now.
Tumblr media
4. Winter Schnee
God in Heaven help me, why did RT have to make such an interesting woman.
I mean I have trouble picking a character that I like in a show, but Winter fit my description of a hardworking character. She truly reminds me of Jean (Genshin Impact), a woman who goes to lengths, working far harder than she needs to.
But Winter of course is different, like her younger sister, she specializes in Glyhs and the fact that they don’t use heavy weapons. Instead going for more smaller bladed swords, and making every attack count in the long run.
She also teaches the lesson of how hard it is choose duty over family. Even though she loves her family, she still chooses her job over and over again. The fact stands that when she fought against Ironwood, and the fact that Penny chose her to take the winter maiden powers, it was easy to see how much this was going to effect.
At the end of Volume 8, she had to face everyone, including what was left of her family, seeing that Oscar, Emerald, Nora, and Ren were what was left of everyone that she knew.
I bet you she even blames herself for letting Jaune fall.
At the end of the day, she was showed to be such a regal character, that still had the flaws to balance her just perfectly.
Now time for the final faverite of mine.
Tumblr media
5. Roman Torchwick
Surprise, Surprise.
Bet you weren’t expecting that. I have to say I wasn’t either, the earlier volumes are my favorite for the fact that I love watching the first episode over and over again for my own amusement.
My personal watching rule is “If I can watch the first episode over and over again, than its a good series”, and since this rule works for both Rwby and Ouran Host Club, I think I’m in the clear here.
So, to the point Torchwick brought something amazing to the show, showing up in all of his mysterious glory, even if early him was rough around the edges.
I liked the fact that Neo and him worked together, bouncing their attack patterns and even their team skills together.
Also the fact that him being caring about her until the end was touching.
Him coming back in Volume 9 was what broke my heart though, like it was lovely to see him doing his thing again, but at the end of the day we all knew that it was an Illusion that he wasn’t coming back to us.
But I loved every second while he was on, and the way that he left was so touching. A departure for the ages.
Well thats the end of this long post, thank you all for reading.
An here’s a final hug to all that read this post.

MTMTE/LL is ready-made for a film or tv adaptation down to tv pacing, issues that work as episodes and story arcs, snappy dialogue, and seasonal structure. It’s written by a tv enthusiast for tv enthusiasts.
However, the nature of Transformers and the layers of copyright make it near-impossible to adapt. TF tv series tap into the 7-to-12-year-old market, while TF films have tapped into the Crass Dad market, though Bumblebee did retool to appeal to families. Both of these demographics don’t fit the dense politics of MTMTE/LL. The story is too complex for the scope of Western cartoons outside of…RWBY or Vox Machina, which are both bizarre experiments. The budget requirements of robot aliens are downright impossible without major studio backing.
Now that I mention it, RoosterTeeth could manage the story. Given what happened to Gen:Lock, though, it’s even more unlikely that a project like MTMTE/LL would get off the ground. The funding required for the project would only come with some heavy strings attached—it’s a lore-heavy leftist gay robot comic, the target audience is about three people and they’re all 25-year-olds with no job.
Still, MTMTE/LL is too good to go unadapted. More than a lot of properties it was made for action and acting. The general concept is a road movie, a reasonably established genre, and the aesthetics draw heavily from Star Trek. It can and should be adapted. But never officially—which isn’t a problem.
Everything is a knockoff of everything else, there are no original ideas left. Many film or tv projects are thinly-veiled adaptations or variations on other works that cannot be adapted in some way. My test case for this is Klaus. Going Postal is a great novel by a great author that got a good official film adaptation, but Klaus is my favourite adaptation of the book. The similarities (comically regimented postal service, slacker forced to do work, tough and jaded love interest) are too striking to pass off as coincidence. The differences are significant enough that there’s no copyright conflict.
As Doom Patrol to the X-Men, as Klaus to Going Postal, as The Orville to TOS, as Damon Lindelof’s original story concept to Watchmen (the series was not planned as a Watchmen sequel; the rights were acquired to hedge bets), thinly-veiled adaptations are common enough. MTMTE/LL could and should be made as an original tv series.
The set-up is this: a ragtag group of veterans volunteers for a deep space exploration mission rather than returning to civilian life. A mix of Annihilation and Deep Space Nine. The group starts at the central planet and journeys through the politically unstable outer worlds (Delphi through the college planet, Troja Major), then into the unknown regions (Necroworld, the New Cyberteon).
As in the comic, each new geographical stop prompts a new flashback that slowly builds out the lore of why there was a war, why it’s over, why there are stable and unstable planets, why each of the characters would rather risk their lives in the unknown than live in peace. Rather than Forged/Cold Construction, Functionist/Decepticon/Autobot divides, there are human/cyborg, fundamentalist/working-class/bourgeois divides.
Because MTMTE/LL characters cover such a wide cross-section of their society, you can do the necessary world building through the characters without the unwieldy lore of IDW1. Through Ratchet and Drift, explore Forged/Cold Construction dynamics. Through Whirl, Rewind, and Magnus/Minimus, explore the hierarchical layers of Functionism. It’s built-in.
The journey also mirrors the mental states of the characters handily. In the comic, they leave reborn Cybertron and arrive at New Cybertron, constructed as a do-over that intends to wipe out everybody’s lived experience. In this theoretical adaptation, they leave the homeworld and find a new, fixed, and fundamentally wrong homeworld in the Unknown.
So—if somebody wants to suck boots for fifteen years to get into TV production, assemble a crew of writers, and convince a bunch of old men to make a spiritual adaptation of MTMTE/LL, Godspeed

So I finally caught up to RWBY and there’s a major problem with it.
So, I finally got myself up to speed on RWBY after so many years of ignoring it, and there is a major problem storytelling wise.
Writing has never been this show’s strong suit. Even at my most devoted to the show I recognized this as a problem. Now, I’m not here to talk about the really major problems with RWBY, for that please avail yourself of Hbomberguy’s video: “RWBY is Disappointing and Here’s Why”. No, I’m here to discuss my biggest problem with the show, that is to say its treatment of its characters. Particularly the side characters.
Watching the show, Volume 1 - 8, I’ve noticed an upsetting trend in regards to the show’s characters. That is to say, the fans start to like a side character a whole lot, and then they get either a major downgrade or their character is hamstringed entirely. The three biggest examples for this I’m using are Adam, Raven, and Ironwood most recently.
Adam is the first case of this occurring and, in my opinion, one of the most upsetting because Adam’s character had so much potential. The Faunus in the show are supposed to be a stand in for marginalized real life groups and the White Fang were obviously meant to stand in for a Civil Rights movement gone South. Adam and Blake were at the epicenter of this story, Blake wanting to walk a more peaceful route and Adam believing that force was the only way to invoke change. That is a fascinating character dynamic, especially when you take their backstories into account, Blake being born into a wealthy or at least well-off family and Adam being poor and orphaned.
There’s so much you can do with that. Make a commentary on how it’s easier for the rich to buck injustice because they can literally afford to. Write how good intentions can spiral out of control and end up with horrific consequences. Play off Blake’s academic idealism and Adam’s down to Earth realism. People liked that! And they liked Adam. He felt like a real and interesting character.
But, instead, the writers chose to completely demonize Adam and make the conflict between Blake and him not about their differing worldviews, but about their relationship problems.
This happened with Raven, Yang’s mom, as well. She was mysterious, morally ambiguous, and had a complex motivation. She sees the world, not as good or evil, but strong and weak. The struggle to survive separates the two and by being strong you’ve earned the right to exist. There’s a lot to explore there, and a lot of conflict created between her and Yang who is much more about that classically heroic stuff.
But, rather than pursue any of that, they also go out of their way to demonize Raven and pretty much say, directly to the audience, that you aren’t supposed to like this person.
Finally, we get to Ironwood. Ironwood was a fan-favorite character, especially after Volume 7. Ironwood was both likeable and relatable, and was an authority figure who genuinely cared about human life and doing the right thing. His core character trait has always been empathy. His motivations are always towards protecting life and helping others. He’s not a glory hound and he’s not some sneering imperialist, he’s always been about helping others.
In the early volumes he creates an army of robots to minimize human casualties which is a tactically sound move, making your own force of disposable cannon fodder against another force of disposable cannon fodder. And when everything goes wrong, he doesn’t hesitate to act. During the invasion he tells it like it is to the students but goes out of his way to assure them that they can run if they must because they are, in fact, children.
Not only that, Ironwood consistently stuck up for the little guy, defending Weiss against snobby aristocrats and sending Yang, a girl who’s he’s interacted with precisely once, a brand new arm.
The ultimate irony of Ironwood’s character is that, for being based on the Tinman, his most defining character trait is his heart.
And now, as I’m sure you’ve seen the pattern by now, we come to his complete character assassination. In Volume 8 they pull a GoT Season 8 on us and make Ironwood go crazy. He turns on his friends and allies and threatens to commit genocide to get his way.
None of this makes sense. It completely contradicts all of the story beats and character development that was made in the previous volume. The only real explanation given is “his Semblance is driving him crazy”.
(side note: I genuinely hate what Semblances have become. They were originally to add character and style to each character’s fighting abilities but now they’re just another bullshit writing tool for the Authors to get out of a tight corner with)
So frequently we see characters, far more interesting than the main cast, get sidelined or character assassinated to make us like the protagonists more. Not even Team JNPR was exempt from this. People liked JNPR a lot more than they like RWBY. So, they killed off one of JNPR’s central characters and the rest got turned into Ruby’s sidekicks.
If you’re a Ruby fan and you’ve made it all the way through this, WOW, this post is way too long. I won’t say RWBY is meritless, there are things to enjoy about it. And you're not bad or dumb for engaging with it positively But it genuinely saddens me to see real and interesting characters get fucked over so the central protagonists can look better.

for the opinion ask, rank the members of teams rwby and jnpr from favorite to least favorite :3c
o inDEED, thisll be a little tricky cuz i like everybody for different reasons and have issues with them all for different reasons bUT ill have it in an order that like, follows the same general path
under a cut cuz this is QUITE long lol
1. weiss, fave character out of both groups, i like seeing her on screen the most and think the way her personality has developed has been interesting (even if handled a bit poorly in the beginning with the faunus stuff not being addressed properly) i think her dynamics with her family is really interesting and im quite partial to her snow aesthetic
2. ruby, one of the few main protagonists in media i actually really like, i VERY MUCH like her aesthetic and like drawing her and i think her character development has been interesting, shes a lot more serious than i think people realize and her difficulties with social stuff is relatable, autistic queen
3. pyrrha, i like pyrrha’s juxtaposition as being someone who is like, the “gifted kid” and knows that’s what she is or whatever but have interpersonal relationship conflicts as a result of her isolation from being idolized, i think her placement within the narrative was actually really tragic (/pos) and she very clearly has a lasting impact on many characters even when she is not mentioned by name, you can tell too that she has a complex with self loathing and i feel like part of why she prioritizes everyone else above herself is a form of that, wish we’d seen her magnetic abilities utilized more
4.yang, yang’s personality has always been fun and i like how you can tell her voice actor really enjoys playing her, one of my favorite arcs for her within the series was seeing her deal with her ptsd over the fall of beacon and it disappointments me that this plot point kind of disappeared after v6
5. nora, i like nora’s energy and competitive personality and i think she has some good comic relief moments (that almost seem self aware at times without QUITE breaking the 4th wall), i also consistently have liked each of her designs throughout the series and i think watching her relationship with ren (both romantic and just her connection to him in general) has undergone some notable developments and im interested to see where it goes
6. blake, catgirl momence, i think i tend to like blake more in the ways in which she interacts with other characters rather than her solo, i think its interesting to see how much she was affected by adam’s abuse and how it still alters the ways she bonds with people into the present (or at least thats how i interpret it) i also like her development from sort of cold/cool/standofish to a bit more of an awkward type, and i like a lot of little scenes and personality quirks of hers (v3 fish bowl scene my beloved lol)
7. jaune, i like jaune WAYYYY more now than i did at the beginning of the series and i like how he is both the team support in terms of lending his aura and also as a person that the others can confide in when they need to, i think he’s had one of the strongest and most notable glowups in the series, but in general im not super attached to him overall as a character but i appreciate his place in the story and what it means
8. ren, i think ren stands out compared to the others in terms of his generally very level headed personality, and i like seeing his interactions with nora (their bond feels genuine and their differing personalities makes them play off each other in a fun way) but on his own he doesnt interest me as much as the others, and i feel like his arc in v4 didnt seem to have any particularly lasting impacts on him (or nora), and i feel like considering v4 was at least half about his past that there shouldve been a longer lasting effect to seeing that arc of his and nora’s life conclude but we didnt quite get that unfortunately

RWBY - On Oscar, Ozpin, the White Fang, and Salem’s Inner Circle
Here we go, guys gals and nonbinary pals. The time has come for the final act of RWBY Volume 4. Are you combat ready?
Cause I’m sure as hell not.
Now with the volume coming to an end, we have good ol’ Farmboi heading god-knows-where after a long, haunting, and crucial ultimatum from Ozpin.
[Error: Footage not found.]
Ehh, well, not quite. He just kinda gets up and leaves, lol.
Look, I get it. Oscar’s storyline needed to start at some point. He couldn’t stay in the farm forever while the rest of the plot kept progressing for everyone else at whatever rate that may be.
My problem is that there really isn’t any emotional gravitas in Oscar’s decision to leave the farm.
Consider: Oscar is an ordinary kid in Anima. The farm and his aunt are probably the only life and family he’s ever known. As far as one could assume, he’d never dream he’d ever take part in some Magical Global Conspiracy™ against the Forces of Evil™. Next thing you know, Ozpin swoops in and completely shatters the status quo (I swear to God, Ozpin’s kink is ruining teenagers’ lives, lmao). He makes Oscar question his sanity, his memories, and his own individuality. The only thing we’re ever shown of Ozpin trying to justify this is very weak consolations and vague promises of greatness. There really isn’t much in the way of dynamic between Oscar and Ozpin. Granted, Ozpin has most likely explained things to Oscar off-screen.
But that in itself is also quite problematic.
I understand that there are certain plot points and information that we, the viewers, aren’t supposed to know yet. In a story, there are certain pieces of information whose revelations are much more meaningful when delivered towards a specific character or group of characters.
Take for instance, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In the novel, Harry encounters a book filled with intimidatingly advanced and much more effective spells and potion-crafting. The only thing he knows about it is that it was written by the titular “Half-Blood Prince”. Harry takes advantage of the contents of the book, and while at first he thinks his use of it is harmless, he eventually learns that the use of a method without having a proper knowledge and understanding behind it proves fatal. The consequences of the book’s misuse haunt him and the reader for the rest of the novel as he wrestles over the mystery of the true identity of the Half-Blood Prince. At the climax of the novel, he is confronted by the Half-Blood Prince, who reveals himself to Harry and the reader in a shocking and thematically appropriate plot twist that satisfies the reader, precisely because no one else within the story possessed the knowledge of the Half-Blood Prince’s identity and more importantly, because Harry, the person who has been obsessing painfully over this information, gets to react to it alongside the reader.
There is absolutely none of that with Oscar and Ozpin.
A lot of us were convinced that Qrow’s poisoning would lead to Team RNJR+Q running into Oscar near the end of the volume. RNJR+Q would provide solid proof of Ozpin’s story, forcing Oscar into action and help him and Team RNJR (and by extension the viewers) understand his role in the fight against Salem. It would have treated us to Oscar wrestling over leaving his life and family behind and RNJR learning more about the circumstances behind Pyrrha’s death, the Fall of Beacon, and Salem’s Faction from Ozpin himself, who must answer for manipulating Pyrrha and keeping Ruby in the dark about her abilities.
There was a lot about Oscar the viewer could have bonded with. He’s ordinary. Unsuspecting. He has a normal family in an aunt with whom he quips. We aren’t introduced to her at all and therefore we don’t feel her neither as an organic character with a clear purpose in the World of Remnant nor as any sort of part of Oscar’s life. She should be a big part, a reason for Oscar to not want to leave, and therefore make it so important and impactful when he chooses to do so.
Oscar left so abruptly. There wasn’t any proper build-up to his decision, nothing that could make the viewer feel emotionally invested in his departure. No “Oh, finally!” or “I can’t believe he’s actually leaving...” or “Now he can take part in the action!”
Moving on, we have Oscar (and Ozpin’s) meeting with Hazel. As he was instructed in the beginning of the Volume, he’s off to meet Sienna Khan, the current leader of the White Fang.
What strikes me so much about Hazel is that he’s someone who’s incredibly composed. He’s enormous and probably crazy strong, but if that’s all he was, no way Salem would have sent him to meet with the leader of the White Fang.
Salem: “And Hazel, I'm sending you to the leader of the White Fang. Adam Taurus has arranged the meeting. The boy continues to prove loyal. Ensure Sienna Khan feels the same.”
It could have been Watts, a man who seems to be incredibly proud of his intelligence and prowess. But instead, Watts was assigned to meet with Salem’s informant at Mistral (quite possibly the Headmaster of Haven or Sanctum, but a point later on in this analysis might refute this). Salem sent Hazel. This most heavily suggests that he is capable of conducting business and reconnaissance rather tactfully. Nevertheless, given that we know that Sienna Khan is meant to be overthrown by splinter members of the White Fang, I’m not sure how Hazel’s presence might factor into all this. Hazel was sent to talk to Sienna Khan, not eliminate them.
This presents quite a few ways this meeting could go down.
Hazel will meet with Adam, who will propose assassinating Khan and taking over the White Fang to secure the loyalty and military manpower of the organization worldwide to Salem’s cause. (How this will affect Blake and Yang warrants a different discussion.) The coup takes place.
Hazel will meet with Sienna Khan as planned, who will comply with Hazel’s demands and further consolidate the relationship between the White Fang and Salem’s Faction. Adam might or might not proceed with the coup.
Hazel will meet with Sienna Khan as planned. Khan will refuse to cooperate with Hazel, prompting a fight. Khan is defeated and might be killed, prompting Adam to formally take over the White Fang for Salem’s cause.
Hazel will meet with Sienna Khan as planned. Khan either submits or stands up to Hazel. Hazel promises to return with an ultimatum. During this time, Adam executes the coup and either continues to serve Salem, or decides to use his newfound political and military power against Salem and the rest of humanity.
Hazel will meet with Sienna Khan. Khan complies. Adam is not involved with the coup. When the coup happens, the White Fang is thrown into disarray, weakening the integrity of Salem’s operation.
Knowing Corsac and Fennec’s familiarity with Ilia and the brothers’ loyalty to Adam, the last scenario is highly unlikely, but not entirely worth ignoring.
Back to Hazel though, there’s a lot of wisdom and perhaps even goodwill within Hazel. He sees Oscar struggling with the ticket dispenser and not only offers help with a rather tender initiative, but also counsels him on confidence and determination before returning to his task.
We’re also treated to something quite interesting: Ozpin’s reaction to Hazel.
When Oscar asks who Hazel is, Ozpin only answers with the cryptic “Someone from my past.”
Here’s the thing. I’ve spent the last couple of days rewatching the volumes. And something I noticed in 4x01 during the meeting of Salem’s Inner Circle, was how not only did Salem refer to Ozpin as “dear Ozpin”, but also how there were two empty seats at the table. Now, I don’t think those belong to Emerald and Mercury. They take their place by Cinder’s side or away from Salem’s Table whenever summoned. They’re not equals, they’re lackeys. Tools to be used at Salem and Cinder’s whim. If they truly were welcome at Salem’s Inner Circle, they’d take the liberty to pull up a chair and scheme alongside the Big Bads™. Now, couple that with Ozpin’s line to Ruby in 1x10.
“Ruby, I’ve made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet.”
Would those mistakes include serving a cause that may have begun noble and became twisted over time?
How much are you willing to bet that one of those seats once belonged to Ozpin?
Okay, yeah, that begs the question “To whom does that other seat belong?” For all we know? If we’re going for “Haven’s-Headmaster-Is-In-Cahoots-With Salem”, then that chair probably belongs to him. However, there’s two points that contradict this.
Haven’s Headmaster would have just taken Ozpin’s seat and was likely inducted after Ozpin left.
If the Headmaster is just an informant, there is no real reason for him to be part of Salem’s Inner Circle.
Well, Ozpin or no Ozpin, Hazel gave a peek to a different moral dimension to Salem’s Inner Circle. I’m convinced that Salem and co. aren’t doing evil things for evil’s sake. They act for reasons they truly believe to be righteous and necessary, otherwise, why would Watts, Hazel, and Cinder ally themselves with an epitome of darkness and destruction such as Salem? There’s always personal reasons, but there’s always a similar goal in mind that has bound them all together. Even Tyrian.
That’s the kind of villain complexity that RWBY both needs and deserves, and I’m glad we’re getting to see that bit by bit in Hazel’s personal layers and Cinder’s disability and recovery.
EDIT:
I thought of another outcome to Hazel’s meeting with Adam. Here’s another way it could go down:
Somehow, some or all members Team RWBY (either reunited or separated) get a hold of information about the meeting or happen to track someone who is attending it. They crash the negotiations, prompting a fight. This is where Blake and Yang have their rematch against Adam (which might or might not be their final encounter against him). The fight ends, Sienna is either rescued by Blake and enlists the help of the White Fang or is somehow left indisposed (death, injury, kidnapping), forcing Blake to step forward as the new interim leader of the White Fang.
