He was devastated at first since he's a proud descendant of the great Godric Gryffindor, and now he's their family's only Slytherin

^ but he'd settle in nicely in the snake's den after he busied himself with Quidditch and gained lots of friends and fame

He saw with his own eyes how not all Slytherins are evil like he thought of before. There's actually non-purebloods, as well as decent, nice purebloods in this house!

^ And he experienced first hand how unfairly judged Slytherins are by the rest of Hogwarts, especially Gryffindors

^ Opened up his eyes to a more nuanced perspective, and he became much less judgmental and one-sided than canon Gryff!James

On one hand, I want Sirius to also be in Slytherin, but on the other hand, Sirius Black becoming a Gryffindor and James Potter a Slytherin is absolutely hilarious

^ The duo of all time. Ended house rivalry. They hang out with each other more than they do with their own housemates.

^ Marauders never gets established, therefore no animagi. It's only Sirius and James.

He's one of the most popular Slytherins; he's from a respectable pureblood family, he's good looking, rich, smart, and their Quidditch team's star Chaser

Slughorn adores him. He believes he's ol' Sluggy's favorite snake eventhough he's not that invested in potions

James made sure to stay away from the people he suspected as DE supporters/recruits, and try to convince his fellow Slytherins to do the same

Still does his 'pranks' alongside Sirius, but a bit smarter about it and they managed to avoid detention most of the time

Goes into fights a lot with Mulciber and Avery since he still insists on refusing to have anything to do with Dark Arts

^ The two call him a hypocrite for his 'pranks' and mock him for being a blood traitor

Speaking of the duo, he shares a dorm room with Mulciber, Avery, Rosier, and Snape! (RIP)

He would either be besties with Regulus, or they'd absolutely despise each other (it has everything to do with Sirius) (and Quidditch) (and Pureblood politics)

And the rest of these are more jeverus-adjacent, but could be read as platonic too :3c

THE classmate who laughed the loudest and teased the longest when Sev was struggling to mount a broom during their first flying lesson

He'd have a secret admiration (and jealousy) of Sev since he sees firsthand how Sev is so dedicated (and weirdly enthusiastic) to his potions research, his studies, and even cheering on the Slytherin Quidditch team

^ (Sev literally just sometimes watches their practices and games but James counts it as a huge, insanely ooc gesture lmao)

^ He also saw firsthand the bullying and shaming of Sev's blood status from their housemates

^ He might be hostile towards Sev, but his heroism and 'I can fix him' mentality wins

Despite their early tension, both James and Sev managed to warm up to each other and settle their differences after one too many confrontations with the other three dormmates

James would drop comments on how Sev needs to stop burying his nose in books and enjoy the sun (like watching their team's practices and games, wink wink)

Made sure that Sev isn't going to be swayed by the DE lot since he knows how crafty and smart Sev is, and how dangerous the other side could be if they have him; so he made extra effort to befriend Sev and pull him towards the 'light' side

After hearing about Sev's family situation (through Sev himself or via Lily), he stopped mocking his looks and started to gift him stuff every Xmas

^ He'd also softly tell Sirius to leave Sev alone (making up excuses of course so that Sirius wouldn't feel like James is warming up to the dungeon bat)

He still struggles a lot to not be overly sarcastic or mean when he talks to Sev (it's just so hard to when he's Snape) but he makes a conscious effort to be nice and patient towards him

Sev would tutor him in Potions, while he tutors Sev in Transfiguration

^ They would make bets and challenge each other to see which one of them would get more house points

^ This, in turn, made the Slytherins more friendly and accepting towards Sev (because he racks up those pts like his life depended on them, like hell he'd lose to James Potter)

He'd actually open his mind to Dark Arts after years of knowing and befriending Sev, and see that having knowledge in it would bring benefits that people often overlook

^ He would ask tons of questions to Sev (which Sev would begrudgingly and happily oblige)

He feels kinda proud that he gains Sev's friendship, like he'd just befriended a Bearded Dragon; it's something special and not a lot of people get this close to the prickly git

Lily would get jealous that her best friend is being pulled away by the arrogant toerag LOL

One last point—Niko and Zantetsu rock up to Nagi's dorm deliberately, but the lengths they go to find him... Tracking the wet floor marks? Genius.

Niko does so with purpose, and I'd like to highlight the way this was implied early on in the main manga. Even the way Hiiragi goes, huh—this is the guy you two wanted to see? indicates the precision in how Niko plans their 3V3 match-up.

Throwback to the volume 9 omake:

We know Niko's a strategist; Zantetsu is a reliable forward and defender, when directed by someone with good playmaking sense (see how Reo uses him in Team V's first selection matches).

The "someone [Niko] can actually talk to" turns out to be Hiiragi, who seems to have a reasonable level of intelligence and calm. His playstyle is a mystery, so I'm curious to see how he fits into among the others. He may be an excellent passer, like Hiori, or maybe something we haven't seen before.

Anyway, I love that Niko looked at his team, decided let's ball, then tried poaching the best player from his stratum... on a team that also arguably has that stratum's second best player. Before even commencing a match, Niko gets the rules of the second selection, understanding that success there is driven by individual talent more than teamwork overall (while still looking to cover his own shortcomings). In addition, he recognises Nagi's prodigy, and believes he can nurture it in the absence of Reo.

Such an underrated character. He's a mirror of Isagi in many ways, or like a shadow. They have similar talents, but their paths to the top are very different.

Still, this 3V3 didn't work out for Niko. The second stage results don't give us a whole lot of insight into how the other teams were formed... but Hiiragi/Niko weren't a duo that could ultimately triumph.

We know Hiiragi and Niko lose Zantetsu to Nagi's team. Then, they must have won once (to pick up a third player), then lost twice (allowing Hiiragi and Niko to be stolen, respectively). Alternatively, they go on to win twice, then lose (when Hiiragi is stolen)... then lose again (Niko is stolen). Bear in mind, this is in addition to the three days it took Rin's team to steal Isagi and emerge as a 5V5 team.

The second selection timeline will forever bug me, because the final numbers were capped, and the qualifiers were up against many other teams. With 24 hours between each match, surely playing 4+ matches like Hiiragi and Niko would have jeopardised their odds of qualifying overall? Yet, neither Hiiragi nor Niko's teams were last to qualify.

I guess... the teams made up of mob characters were so afraid of disqualification, they didn't seek matches at all? It's something chapter 58 alludes to. Kind of hilarious in retrospect: if they had just gone on and beaten one another, they'd have easily won out on time over the last three or four qualifying teams. Fortune favours the brave in Blue Lock.

I wonder, do you think set up wise, things may have gone better if there was a kwami swap from the start? As sometimes I do think so.

Plagg I think could've been a solid foil to Marinette and could cover what she needs growth wise, as she can pile too much on her plate, over involve herself, and I really can't think of too many times that she really puts herself first it's usually others more than her and sometimes I feel she needs to self prioritize. So I think having the lazier and more self prioritizing Plagg to work off of could've been a benefit. It's also bonus that they'd be a hilarious lead duo.

On paper there's merits to Plagg and Adrien, who does need to rebel against his father and Cat works off his want for more independence, but it just never went anywhere. And sometimes I feel Adrien should've gotten a kwami that's more direct and involved with him. Tikki I could see pushing Adrien to make changes in his life if he's unsatisfied with it, talk with his father and try to work things out, initiate with others, help others not just stand by and leave others to do something. Additionally, I do feel Adrien was looking for someone to fill the void his mom left, and with Tikki having moments of being affectionate and supportive (though more s1), I could see her fitting into that spot.

I think it also makes more sense if they had been mixed up given that Marinette and Tikki are initiators while Adrien and Plagg are reactors.

I know at the core we just needed better writing and the canon matches could work just fine, it's just given who the characters are and what I see they need growth wise, I kinda wonder if kwami swap would've been better. Especially now knowing that Fu didn't complete his training, it is possible he didn't make the best choices.

Okay, so, before I get into this, I want to note that I have nothing against kwami swap AUs! Every time I come across one, I give it a read because I like seeing what people do with the concept. HOWEVER, I have noticed that none of them even try to deal with the elephant in the room*. Namely that Adrien would be a terrible ladybug.

The ladybug power is all about creative thinking. More specifically, it's about high-stakes, in-the-moment, quality creative thinking. That is canonically not Adrien's strong suit. It's Marinette's. So while Marinette could probably wield the black cat without issue, I just don't see Adrien working out long term unless you rewrite major aspects of his personality and I don't want to see that. I think Adrien is fine as-is and works perfectly as Marinette's foil.

I think you can get away with giving him creative thinking skills that work when he's got lots of time to think about a problem - I often give him those and make him read like a scientifically minded guy who needs data and analysis to further contrast Marinette's in-the-moment thinking style - but making him able to be the ladybug would make him not Adrien in more ways than one.

The second way is that ladybug is a leadership role. Ladybug is the one who gets the lucky charm and comes up with a solution that needs to be enacted NOW, so it requires a take-charge attitude and a willingness to boss people around. That is not Adrien. Adrien is a natural follower and that's a good thing. Teams require members who are willing to follow the leader. If Adrien was more of a leader who constantly questioned Ladybug's choices and tried to present his own ideas mid-battle, then their team wouldn't work. Similarly, if you made Adrien the ladybug, then you'd have to make Marinette a follower to balance leader!Adrien and those are just not the characters that we know and love.

It's far simpler to make a few minor tweaks to Plagg and Tikki because, while I love them, their roles aren't super well defined. You can make Plagg more willing to give advice and Tikki more willing to give support and guidance without feeling like you've gone against core aspects of their characters because they already do those things. They just don't do them super well.

You can also bring in other characters to shore up these two's weaknesses. Mentor characters are generally supposed to give occasional advice, but let their mentees do most of the work, so it makes sense to dial back Plagg and Tikki to occasional advice givers and dial up Alya and Nino to more active teammates and friends. At least, that's what makes sense to me. I want the kwamis to be important, but not more important than the friends.

*When I say that nobody deals with the Adrien-having-to-think-like-Marinette-for-this-to-work problem, I mean that I've yet to see a fic or comic that actually showed a traditional akuma fight. They all skip those. The most you may see is a Lady Blanc or a Gabriel takedown or stuff like that. And if that's all you're doing? Then switch away! Adrien's only a bad ladybug when the fight requires him to think like a ladybug as we saw in Reflekdoll.

I've been following Hanza since back when they were making my deepest secret, so I've seen the development of the guy upstairs first hand and how hanza writes it. Even back in the concept stages, it was so blatantly clear that it was supposed to be a thriller/cat mouse vibe where Adam (killer) was horrible and not to be rooted for. They've compared him to irl serial killers and how those guys will often use women as shields to hide their true selves from the public and how that's messed up and bad to do.

They've shown Adam as a horrible irredeemable person and honestly there's little to no nuance with how they handle it, but that makes sense because how else can you handle an audience like what they've gotten without beating them over the head with the facts. How many ways can you outright show your main character despising and wanting to yank their best friend out of the jaws of a murderer before the audience realizes its not foreplay.

I think them going from an actual romance to a fully thriller non romantic story meant that the residual audience expected some kind of messy toxic romance, but Rozy to me has always explicitly read as Queer so idk why people aren't getting the hint.

I get their frustration and it seems like they might be shifting into a potiential issekai romance about a grandad and a middle aged woman who got reincarnated as his grandson's fiance (hard to explain but its hilarious if you want to check it out) without any thriller elements from their recent non comic posts. Whatever they do I hope they can find something to be passionate about again.

It's really baffling to me how people have gone so far in the opposite direction of "purity culture" that they've started arguing on behalf of legitimately harmful and toxic relationships. It's extremely concerning especially when you know the majority of people saying this shit are between the ages of 16-21. IDK what the fuck we're doing anymore when it comes to the romance genre (and TGU isn't even a romance ffs).

Aaaand yeah in relation to where the Hanza topic came up, that's really why I'm moving away from WT as an audience and why I don't consider it a "loss" to not use WT anymore. Once upon a time I wished for Time Gate to be a contracted series, for it to have thousands of readers and be my job. But seeing what's going on with Hanza's work just informs me that I'd be dealing with a lot of the same shit - people expecting Uzuki and Mitsuhiro to be the endgame of the romance when they're literally NOT good for each other, which is the POINT. Like sure, unlike the main duo in TGU, they actually are a couple with a 'relationship' but it's not meant to be healthy and the last thing I need are 15 year olds thinking they're "couple goals". If you ship them in fanfic or w/e the fuck that's fine but please don't get mad at me when they don't wind up being the endgame couple, they're both terrible people and make each other worse when they're around each other (・_・;)

Either way yeah, I don't blame Hanza in the slightest for getting so frustrated with it all that they'd rather just be done with it. It sucks for the more loyal and sane part of their audience that the series is gonna be ripped out from under them like that, but at the end of the day if the creator is being harassed and decide they're done as a result of it... why should they have to keep putting up with bullshit just for a comic? This was kinda obvious. Some people would rate this duo lower than Yoonkook but I think that's not fair. If you compare them with an unbiased eye Tkk are stronger than ynkk. First they are closer in age which helps. Meaning they're gonna be closer, too. But put them in a room together and it's not even awkward its nothingness. I'm talking silence. By JK's own admission here it just wasn't working. And we all remember the joint IG live where they ran out of things to talk about and JK would play with Bam instead. Another duo where JK needs a buffer for sure. I mean, sure tkk have been out and about but notice how its always with the Wooga squad? Never just them two?

On the plus side, they look really good. So, I'll give them that. 💚

Again this is so hard because Jimin has very strong duos. But yeah, I will put RM second last because RM as a person (bless him and his dimples) he's not the most entertaining and has to bounce off of someone. Them together, alone won't be boring but I'm not sure it would be that memorable or mind blowing. These are just my personal opinions guys so feel free to disagree or chime in. But yeah. I feel Minimoni is 2nd last for me.

I do find it interesting how comfortable RM is with skinship when it comes to Jimin considering he's not big on that in general (unless its Jin) He's even the one who initiates so he is quite comfortable around Jimin.

What's the most recent thing that we know about them? We know they hanged out after JK left Jennie's CK event. And we know before that JK said him and RM hadn't drunk together in years. Years. Not months. Now this dont mean they don't see eo. It just means they don't drink together often. I do find this to be significant however because both men love their liquor. Okay y'all. We know most Yoonmin supporters are rubbish vermin but don't let that make you forget that Yoonmin are extremely entertaining together. Put these 2 in a room alone together and come on... GOLD!! The Yoonmin Suchwita episode is hands down the funniest for me. I laughed from beginning to the end. Swear to God ✋🏽 that episode and the one with the drunk TXT members are great rewatches for me ngl. Also Jimin is Suga's favourite member so Suga is super comfortable with Jimin in everything. But my favorite part of them is the bickering of course.

They can't ever seem to stop fighting which is just so freaking entertaining. Remember ITS 1 when Jhope told Jimin he was being cocky so Jimin said he was going to look for Suga so that the guy could kill his cockiness? Okay I'm grabbing what we talked about a lil bit ago. Shou projects way more of his own trauma onto Mob and Ritsus relationship than actually applies. He assumes Shigeo is way different than he is. Shigeo defeats his father, Shigeo did what he could never do. Shigeo is more powerful than his dad. His dad, who he just learnt was for a moment okay with killing him. Shigeo is more powerful than that. Shigeo is also able to convince people he couldn't. He convinced Serizawa. He convinced fucking TOICHIRO. Shigeo can do so many things he has no idea how to. Shigeo is so much BETTER at his job, his purpose, than he is, and he has no idea how to move on after everything! He has no idea! narcistoru/secretoru: Yeah i can gurantee this is the only submission for them for Some Reason. Because no one ships them. Like i have searched the internet far and wide and turn up with like. Close to literal zero. And here's the thing, this is entirely illogical. They work together in this evil group and their deals are essentially that they're. Unhappy people. At first you think they're just annoying but actually they're annoying snd Extremely Miserable. In silly ways, they are such losers and so cringefail. I could write an essay on both of them individually, but basically i love how their focus isn't on being better people, it is on being happier. Individually.

The show is divided into clear parts of who is the main antagonist at the time which really makes you FEEL how unhappy they each are. They're a group but they're also not bc they choose to be unhappy ad get on each other's nerves about it and that's a prime focus of their characters. Anyway, these two make me insane, they spend a lot of time together during the middle part of the show, bc the first villain is gone so now it's just the two of them and their leader who isn't doing much yet. After this part, one of them, narcistoru, is defeated so he's gone for the time being. But these two, they hate each other SOOOOOOOO much it's insane. This is because Narcistoru is an annoying bitch and Secretoru hates that. And they're both generally insane people with dumb beliefs and issues that they view wrongly. It's just so glorious to see them annoy each other so much. Post Narcistoru's main screen time, he gets his conclusion episode. He escapes from prison and Secretoru is supposed to retrieve him. But like not because they need him, in fact, they absolutely did not care that he was arrested because none of these people give a flying fuck about each other. It's just that he wasn't supposed to be a risk. Secretoru and Narcistoru have a rather petty and hilarious fight. Because you see. Now they don't have to get along. They are not on the same side. So the hostility is really thriving here. In fact, she manages to capture him, and while fighting the pretty cures (magical girls), hensays some annoying shit and she goes "actually i changed my mind" and shoves him off this rock in order for the monster (they always summon one) to fucking kill him. Like she tries to murder him in cold blood soley because he's annoying and this was entirely inevitable actually. She wants that twink obliterated. They don't bring this up again in the finale when they're both in prison. They just. Kind of hang out now. They've reached a level of tolerance.

And you may think "why do you ship this" LOOK. THEIR INTERACTIONS. ARE SO FUNNY. IT'S JUST. A VERY FUN SHIP. BECAUSE THEY'RE HILARIOUS. The hostility is so great and i think it would be neat if they had some t4t hatesex. It would solve nothing. They mske each other so much worse. But it would be very hot. They could just not be vibing with each other, or they had a previous misunderstanding, that leads to just not getting along, even if they keep running into each other because their work overlaps sometimes (nurse/homicide detective). General dislike to friends arc. OR if we're not feeling angsty, running into each other a few other times and being like, "oh hey you're the.." and just becoming friends over talking/complaining about work. No negativity hahaha

danielle and lydia - OMG another pairing that I think will have a tough time initially. I definitely see Danielle reaching out to Lydia and gushing over her work and her curiosity to learn more because she never did end up pursuing medicine. But still likes to follow along with research and new findings coming out. Eventually, goes beyond shop talk, though I think Lydia would be a bit weary of Danielle's antics and the drama she gets into. But, I like to believe they eventually find common ground and can build a very sweet relationship. They would be constantly talking and Dani would love to visit her at work, just spend hours with her there. Never bored of the conversations and always asking follow up questions. Danielle would ask to grab lunch or dinner to 'pick her brain' about a certain topic, but also reach out to her when she's bored at home and wants to try doing things people their age do. So expect a random text at 9:00 pm, 'we should go out for once.' Tbh it'd be a lot of dani following her around like a lost puppy. But, they'd be a powerful duo.

gabriel and tessa - oooh okay this one. They definitely met at some kind of event and he spotted her and had to introduce himself. He gushed how he was a fan of her YouTube work! And he goes on to tell her, that he watches her videos after games and they help him unwind because she's hilarious but also makes the videos so interesting. Maybe she knows he's a football player, maybe she's clueless. He doesn't mind either way, because he knows he's not a huge star. He's just a big fan, and i'm thinking they exchange phone numbers, just talk for hours and Gabriel thinks it's nice to have a friend while on the road.

danielle and dougie - bc obviously it cracked me up. this is a disaster waiting to happen. Two sensitive people together. These two would just encourage each other's clownery. Like, they're talking about their love life and they ask 'should I give them another chance?' most friends would say, hell no. screw them! they would just tell each other something like yes, another chance because... and essentially contribute to them getting into bigger problems. i mean obviously i think they're great lol. i am nuts abt them. they're both such fun characters and their dynamic together is just wonderful and iconic and hilarious. even platonically they're just like...... a duo to me. ik all of the dwarfers are a set (Do Not Separate Them) but lister and rimmer especially just go together. it doesn't feel right to talk abt one without mentioning the other. they're just lister and rimmer yknow......... regardless of whether they're friends or lovers i just love them together and love it when they interact

what makes me happy about them

SO MANY THINGS....... the ship does bring a lot of comfort to me bc despite their arguments and the insults that get thrown around they do really care abt each other and it becomes pretty obvious in later seasons. the opposites attract/sun and moon thing they have going on is so endearing to me as well.......... i get so much serotonin from the little moments of honest affection they have for each other in the show.

i think they can be a source of comfort for each other as well, not always in an obvious way but they just keep each other grounded, they're each a reassuring constant in the other's life yknow? also they're both very relatable to me in their own different ways so i would be lying if i said there wasn't an aspect of projection in it as well lol

what makes me sad about them:

the answer to this one is also Many Things......... sometimes they are genuinely just Mean to each other and it makes me a bit sad. and just. lister's childhood and his loneliness and depression and likewise rimmer's childhood and self hatred...... idk they're just both very saddening guys at times, im not even gonna lie. i wish that they'd both allow themselves to be more vulnerable with each other and more open abt their feelings sometimes but ik there are plenty of reasons why that's hard for them. ig it's more their characters separately that make me sad mostly rather than their relationship with each other though, if that makes sense

things done in fanfic that annoy me:

this is a rlly specific personal pet peeve but i kinda dislike it when ppl rlly exaggerate lister's accent in fic. like when they write his speech out as "rimmah" instead of "rimmer" and that sort of thing lol. it's fine in small amounts or if it's a purely comedic fic but if im reading a more emotionally poignant (or sexy) fic and the author has changed the spelling of every second word lister says i just have to exit outta there sorry. for me i feel like since we all know what he sounds like then trying to write out his pronunciation that way just seems awkward and silly. this is by no means an objective thing just personal preference.

it's also a pet peeve of mine when lister gets kinda sidelined or his characterisation gets messed around with in favour of the author basically using him as a self insert bc they're horny for rimmer. it doesn't come up often but when it does it annoys me......... ik rimmer is everyone's special little boy but i love lister too and i don't like to see him get ignored or undervalued like that

i like darius and sharline from evergrace because straight from the premise they are a very normal set of protagonists you might see in a normal rpg except they're in a kusoge adjacent launch title action RPG from the people who made several game of the years. that gap enough is just fucking hilarious and just a little heartwarming, that games like elden ring got direct influence from a dinky game like this.

secondly, it's hard to compare their wonky time relationship to anything in real life, so working through such a thing and trying to think through how they'd feel towards each other is both fun and a source of neverending questions. how would you feel if you saw your sister the same day you lost her? how would you feel if your little brother grew up in a matter of seconds, living a life you never knew? it's an enthralling concept, a warped sense of time. i've seen it in other places, like erm, zombieland saga and nier but for some reason it just grips me here

thirdly, the lack of anything in the game that details who they are and what they are to each other is like. you either get confused... or you accept it as is.... or you want to know more... a lot more.... that's me the third option. which is why the supplementary stories, which detail the human relationships in evergrace so deeply, are so damn good they are like vitamins to my brain. and the fact that my assumptions about them line up so well with the actuality is very lovely and makes me happy

fourth, they are a bickering found family duo. it's funny. i like to think about an idealized concept of family through them, and it makes my heart warm. i like the scenes where sharline treats little darius with the kindness he deserves, and is like a knight in shining armour to him. i like the scenes where darius works out his guilt and dedicates himself to making up for it, not by killing himself, but by facing sharline properly and protecting her like she once did. and i like it when they have sibling telepathy and can finish each others sentences, to which sharline is like ;P you cannot escape my mind reading. i like them very much and all the ways the story explores their touching moments, stupid fun bits, and their future together. even if that epilogue reads like a fanfiction, it's a wonderful gift and i like it.

fively, i forgot where i was going with this. they're so normal it's pleasant, but also their relationship is very touching to me while also being a source of funny delusions i can have. and it's a fromsoftware game from 20 years ago that people think the music is the best part of. so yeah

Chris was happy to know Beth still had great taste when it came to a Galaxy far far away.

This was the best way to begin their weekend. Dinner, laughs and finally working on each other's nails. Usually, he would ask Jess for help whenever she was in town or he'd spend a few hours trying to make them look nice. No doubt taking the elder Riley sibling's words to heart.

Beth's silence means one of two things.

"Rico's hilarious and always got some kind of scheme going on. Almost like Jess. But his plans are always dumb as hell and for some reason, me and Vic were always ready to support his shenanigans. Like one time, he thought if we all lose our teeth at the time, we could get a little more cash from the tooth fairy."

A small laugh follows, though he catches himself so he doesn't mess up Beth's work.

"Of course, his plan was just for us to rip each other's teeth out using the old door method. Rico honestly let' out the loudest yell."

The baker lets out a nostalgic sigh.

"Vic is always our balance in the trio. Since Rico talks a lot and I can get quiet, he had a good balance of talking. Super smart like you, like he could give you a whole thesis on coding. I guess me and him both have the whole 'big nerdy guy' thing going on, although he's super muscular. Helps he can charm his way into anything."

A pause.

"Although there have been times he's charmed his way into a smooch just for the girl's boyfriend to pop up ready to punch his lights out."

Another laugh and shake of his head.

"They're both really chill about the whole..."

His hands motion to the various grimoires and paranormal items in his home.

"Magic thing. They think it's cool although I doubt they'd want to actually live on the weird side. I don't know...it feels nice to have the normal side accept it. Honestly, they have my back in magic more than the Lunas sometimes...."

Those soft brown eyes scowl for a moment at the thought. But he smiles once he looks at Beth.

i'm still very against fantasy-units-as-first-units-for-the-characters and iirc Granblue has mentioned they won't do that anymore after the backlash they got for Freesia, so it's probably the thing holding them back on this one (esp since people did cause an uproar when they started rolling Fantasy units again because people were worried they might make them fantasy units). Until they become properly playable, that is. That said it'd be hilarious if down the line we have a duo unit of those two being messy bitches before Lucifer's murder. It'd just be so perfect.

and yeah, their kits are promising. in general i would say that i think Beelzebub would be an unit who hits *extremely hard* and in order for him not to be overkill he'd probably come with some gimmicks like "do not gain CA % on normal attack" and stuff like that. They'd need to nerf Beelzebub a bit in some way. In a sense i could almost imagine something similar to Colossius' kit, where he would have major destroying power, but wouldn't survive for a long time if you do use this power.

as for Belial i definitely think he'd have a similar gimmick to Bowman of just being fully uncontrollable. Add some skills that evokes his summon calls like "either gives buff or debuff (fully randomized)", without any way to stop those skills from activating and stuff like that. Just an unit which would backstab you in some way.

so if they end up with a duo unit they'd have to balance Bubs' raw power with Belial's sneaky attacks. But honestly i feel like they would have this gimmick of "probably kill each other before the end of the 10th turn so you have to account for them leaving the party then" or something like that

they're too powerful, so they would be super messy to handle, and it'll be funny. that's how i'd imagine it at least.

Peter met Bucky in a bar, which resulted in them drunkenly making out in the toilets before Peter is being dragged back to the Barnes Estate

Peter waking up in a huge bed, being licked a bull terrier with a lazy arm slung around his waist.

Him realising that the arm belongs to one of the most feared men in NYC, then proceeding to roll out of bed, taking the covers with him.

Bucky wakes up to find the cutest boy curled up with his dog Tessa in a blanket burrito. (Bucky definetly dosent ask his AI to take a picture of the sight)

After an awkward first morning, both parties talking about their opinions on a future relationship over the famous 'Bucky-style' pancakes, they both decide to try this out

And so it begins

Peter comes over after his part time shop job most days, Bucky complains that he should quit because he's 'too pretty to be standing around a musty shop all day'

He also likes to complain that Peter's arse is 'too squeezable in those skin tight jeans'

Bucky likes to hug Peter a lot, or at least have physical contact as much as possible.

Tessa also loves physical contact, she makes Bucky jealous. Peter finds it hilarious when Bucky goes in a huff over him rubbing the dogs ears.

Bucky also likes to take his doll on lots of different types of dates. Like one day he might take Peter out to a shitty film and go get PandaKing after, but other times he takes Peter on day trips to Rome.

Peter gets to know the 'mafia' as they like to call themselves, he thinks they're more like a biggroup of teddy bears.

He especially latches onto Tony and Bruce. He learns so much from the duo. Peter also likes to hang out with Tony's husband Steve, Natasha, Thor and Clint. Theyre all like they're own wee sparring club and they teach Peter some self defense.

Bucky definitely makes a mental note to thank them when Peter flips him over in bed and rides him like a cowboy on crack that night.

Peter also is pally with the younger team members arpund his age, Yelena and Shuri.

When Bucky goes to Peters tiny apartment after a few months of dating, he immediately demands that Peter move out of there and into his home after he spots the mold in the corners, ceiling falling off and lack of security bolt on the door. He's appalled that Peter's been living here for years!

Bucky has a thing for always wanting Peter to himself and has a jealousy problem

Peter pretends it annoys him but secretly loves it when Bucky becomea possesive over him

Bucky also likes having Peter accessible at all times, so it's not uncommon for Peter to walk round in JUST one of the older man's shirts and fluffy socks and nothing else

The team all adore Peter, but they all know that if they ever layed a finger on him, they'd be a dead man or woman

Peter eventually quits his job and just takes on his role as quite literally a pampered princess.

Bucky goes on small 'business trips' a lot, mostly in the evenings. Peter stays up most of the time waiting for him to return, knowing what a dangerous place the world is for his man

Bucky comes home covered in blood more often than Peter would like, but the slightly younger boy is always there ti clean him up

One day Bucky gets hurt on a mission, badly hurt. He dosent come home that night and Peter is rushed to their private hospital after a whole bight of worrying

Bucky wakes upto see his doll sitting beside him and looking like hes about to cry. Bucky just looks at him, and the onky thing he can say in that moment is....

"Marry me Petey"

The man in question is shocked at thise words but agrees nonetheless
