Please Don’t Leave Me pt.2 | idol!Mingyu x Reader | fluff
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The phone buzzed against the car's dashboard, but the call went straight to voicemail—just like all the others before it. Mingyu let out a sharp exhale, gripping the steering wheel tightly before pressing the phone to his ear as the familiar automated message ended.
"Y/N, you're leaving me no choice," his voice was hoarse, exhausted. "I'm on my way to your dorm. I can’t keep waiting for you to answer. We need to talk. You can be mad at me, you can yell at me, but you can’t ignore me. Not anymore."
With that, he hung up and started the engine, his heart pounding against his ribs as he sped off towards the university. The rain drizzled lightly, the city lights blurring against his windshield, but he barely noticed. His thoughts were consumed by her. By them. By everything he was about to lose if he didn’t do something.
When he arrived, he parked haphazardly, not caring if he was in a student-only parking zone. He stepped out, pulling his hood up to shield himself, but it was useless. The moment he walked through campus, he could feel the weight of eyes on him. Whispered voices, subtle gasps—some had recognized him. But he didn't care. He had one goal.
Stopping in front of her dorm room, he knocked. No answer. He knocked again, harder this time. "Y/N, open the damn door." His voice was firm, unwavering. "I'm not leaving until you do."
A few seconds passed, and then—
The door swung open so fast he barely had time to react before Y/N’s hand gripped his wrist and yanked him inside. She slammed the door shut behind him, her eyes wide with disbelief and frustration. "Are you insane? Showing up here like this? Now people will definitely know you’re here! And then you knock like that? Desperate much?" Her voice was laced with panic.
Mingyu took a deep breath, stepping closer. "You left me no other choice. If you had just picked up the phone, if you had answered even one of my thousand messages, I wouldn't have had to come here."
She crossed her arms, her expression hard. "I don’t have to answer just because you call."
His jaw clenched. "Then I have to show up."
Silence settled between them, heavy and unyielding. Finally, she sighed, rubbing her temple. "What do you want, Mingyu?"
His brows furrowed, disbelief flickering in his eyes. "What do you mean, what do I want? Isn't it obvious? I want you. I want us. I can’t do this without you."
She scoffed, turning away. "Mingyu, wanting something doesn’t always mean you get to have it."
He ran a hand through his damp hair, frustration evident. "I talked to my management. I told them I want to go public with our relationship. I don’t care about the consequences. I don’t care about the fans who won’t support it. If they love me, they need to accept that I love you. That I can’t live without you."
Her breath hitched, but she remained silent.
"You’re not happy without me, Y/N. Just like I’m not happy without you. I know it. You know it. So why are we doing this?" His voice cracked, raw and pleading.
She hesitated, her fingers tightening around the hem of her sweatshirt. "Mingyu... the stress, the sasaengs, the threats—it’s too much. Even if we go public, that won’t change overnight. And you’re always traveling. I barely got to see you before, how will it be any different?"
"I’ll take you with me." His answer was immediate. "We’ll talk to your university. My management has connections—we can figure out a way for you to do your studies online. That way, you can be with me. I can protect you."
She shook her head, tears brimming in her eyes. "I can’t afford online tuition, Mingyu. I can barely afford my fees as it is."
His heart ached at the helplessness in her voice. Slowly, gently, he reached for her chin, tilting her face up to meet his gaze. "That’s what you’re worried about? Y/N, come on. How many times have I offered to pay for your tuition? Let me take care of you. Let me give you the life you deserve."
"I don’t want to be a burden to you," she whispered.
"You're not a burden. You're my life." His voice was thick with emotion. "Stop finding reasons for this not to work. I can and will fix everything, but I need you to fight with me. For us."
For a long moment, she just stared at him. At the exhaustion in his face, the desperation in his voice. He looked like he hadn't slept in days. Like he was drowning.
Finally, she exhaled shakily, placing her hand over his chest, feeling the steady, desperate thump of his heart. "Okay... you’re right." Her voice broke. "I’m sorry, Mingyu. I’m so sorry for making us suffer like this. Please forgive me."
A choked sob of relief escaped him as he pulled her into his arms, lifting her off the ground and spinning her around. "You won’t regret this, I promise."
She let out a watery laugh as he peppered kisses all over her face—her forehead, her cheeks, her nose. "Mingyu, stop! You're acting like a puppy."
He grinned, setting her down but not letting go. "Now that I finally have you back, I’m never letting go again."
His eyes flickered around her room, taking it in for the first time in person. "So this is your room, huh? I’ve only seen it on FaceTime. Cozy. I like it."
She rolled her eyes, nudging him playfully. "It’s small, but it’s mine."
"Not for long," he mused. "Once you start online classes, you’ll be moving out. Either to my dorm or, better yet, our own place. And when I’m on tour, you’ll stay with me. We’ll share hotel rooms, wake up together, fall asleep together. Doesn’t that sound perfect?"
Her heart swelled at the thought. "I always wanted to go on tour with you, to be honest."
Mingyu’s lips curled into a soft smile. "Then it’s settled. From now on, we’re always together. No more secrets. No more hiding. No more distance."
He cupped her face, his thumb tracing her cheek. "I love you, Y/N. More than anything. And I’ll spend every single day proving that to you."
Her heart melted as she whispered, "I love you too."
And as he kissed her, sealing their promise, she knew—this time, they were going to make it.

Slowly you half woke to titters and shutter sounds. Your brain too foggy and asleep to register what was happening. But you could feel that it was far too early for you to be awake. So, pulling solid warmth closer to you, you buried your face in silkiness and immediately dozed back off. The last sound you registered was the click of a door closing.
Then your alarm ripped you back to consciousness, making you jump in bed hard as it scared you. You rolled over and turned it off, squinting as the bright light on the phone blinded your sleepy eyes.
You were alone. The blanket you covered Han with last night was neatly folded in the spot he had fallen asleep in. He must have woken up during the night and decided to go to his own bed.
You were not the first one up. Seungmin and Felix were already up and eating breakfast. As soon as you walked in, they smirked at you identically and you immediately became suspicious.
"What?" You asked, looking to make sure you didn't forget pants or something equally as important. It wouldn't be the first time, to be honest.
Seungmin shook his head. "Nothing. How did you sleep?"
You squinted at him and his obvious change in subject. "I slept very well." They exchanged a look as you sat down to eat. "How did you sleep?" You asked deciding to just let them be weird. It was too early to try and decode them.
"Very well. Hyunjin and I spent the night together." Felix answered. He had a satisfied, dreamy look on his face that made you smile. It was sweet to see how far gone they all were on each other.
They showed their love in so many different ways. Not just kisses and cuddles, those were obvious. Anyone could see the affection in those actions. It was also shown in the small ways. Han, helping you build a shelf. Lino cooking dinner and letting Felix help. He always patiently taught and showed Felix what to do.
Changbin, the protector. Always willing to help physically, whether it be with his strength or by offering cuddles. Constantly ready with kind words and an open ear. Just being around him made you feel safer.
Seungmin, hard at first glance with is words and actions, but always willing to listen to any issue or complaint. He doesn't tell you what you should do, more he sets you on the path to figure out what you should do on your own. And he will hold your hand while you find it. While you figure it out. So, you know you are never alone. Even if it's just him laughing at your stumbles as he helps you to keep steady.
Ayen. Playful teasing makes everyone feel better with just a few simple sentences. His dimpled smile is never judgmental when it really matters. When it is truly needed.
Felix is the embodiment of sunshine. Laugh and smile infectious and the kindest soul you will ever meet. He will sacrifice anything to help a complete stranger. So, imagine what it feels like to be one of those he cares about. It's almost overwhelming in the best way.
Hyunjin quiet, soft, shy. Wiling to just sit quietly with you for hours without a single word exchanged. Just let you decompress but not have to be alone to do it. Giving touches freely just when your mind was trying to spiral. Reminding you of his presence and support.
Chan, the leader, the father, a protector. He would support any one of you on anything you wanted to pursue. Going as far as to study whatever it was himself, so he could better understand and help you. So, he could enjoy it with you if you wanted.
They were literally everything you had ever dared to hope for growing up. Even more. And now you got to go on this adventure with them.
Han walked in; his hair still wet from his recent shower. You smiled at him when you locked eyes. He immediately turned bright red and avoided your gaze. Seungmin and Felix burst into laughter.
"Okay, what did I miss?" You ask pinning both laughing boys with your best disapproving mother look.
It worked. They quickly quieted when they saw it.
"They are just teasing me, don't worry." Han mumbled moving to get his own breakfast.
No, there was something more to this. "Yeah, no. Out with it."
Felix looked away and Seungmin sighed pulling out his phone. He tapped the screen a few times before handing it to you, a picture already pulled up.
The lighting was dim, but you could clearly see you and Han in your bed cuddling. Han was laying half on top of you, arm around your middle, head cushioned on your breasts, his sleeping face peaceful. You were wrapped around him with both arms, your face half buried in his bed head. You wanted to cry at how adorable the picture was. Holding the phone with both hands and cradling the precious picture between them.
You quickly sent the picture to your phone. You would most certainly need to print and frame it. It was just too cute to sit in an album on a phone. Too cute not to be seen and worshipped.
"I-I'm so sorry-" Han began, fretting.
"Jisungie! This is so cute! Oh my god, I am so hanging this up in my room!" You gushed turning the phone to show him and pulling him closer to kiss him in excitement. Your heart was absolutely mush and your brain was sparking. You wanted to stomp your feet and squeal at it all.
Han was frozen, mouth partially open and face tomato red all the way down his neck and back to his ears.
You handed Seungmin his phone back. "You two are just jealous." You concluded with a smirk. Seungmin rolled his eyes, but didn't deny it.
You left the room to get to work on the YouTube video editing and print the picture to hang it up. It was turning into a great day already.
You only had 2 days to edit the video and get it ready to post. Which didn't give you a lot of time. Especially since other things were going on as well.
Stray Kids had fan calls later on today that you were in charge of. That started this afternoon. And the meet cute photoshoot was tomorrow.
The photoshoot would be an all-day thing. You were in every photo since it was your debut shoot. The boys would be in and out. They would be in the group photos, some duo/trio/quad photos, and one on one photos with you.
So, slipping on your cuter, less professional headphones, you settle in and get comfortable, pulling up the raw footage that they sent to you yesterday.
It was just over an hour later, by your computer clock when your concentration was broken by Felix knocking on your doorframe, looking unsure of his welcome. You pause the video and save your progress, turning to give him your full attention.
When one of the boys wanted to visit you or wanted your attention, they weren't usually so shy about it. Not anymore. Unless something happened or they were feeling more vulnerable/anxious for whatever reason.
"Come in. What can I do for you?" You ask.
He stayed standing in the doorway instead of coming in like you had requested. Like they all usually did. You always kept your door open, liking when they would pop in for a visit.
"Are you mad? Because of this morning?" He asked. "We weren't making fun of you, I promise."
You sigh fondly. Only eternal sunshine angel Felix would worry over something like this. Something so simple. You hold your hands out to him, and he comes forward, almost looking ready to cry. Seriously this eyes should be registered as weapons of coercion.
"Angel, I am not even a little mad. It was just teasing - I know you weren't trying to be hurtful to either of us."
His entire body relaxed. "Thank you. I'm sorry."
"There is nothing to be sorry for." You soothe squeezing his hands.
"Can I cuddle while you work? I won't get in your way."
In response you sit back in your chair and let him climb onto your lap. He straddled you and held you close, hooking his chin over your shoulder.
You ran your fingers through his hair a couple of times before getting back to work. It was easy enough to work around him once you adjusted. And it was nice to work while cuddling. Warm.
And while you worked, he played on his phone and game system, staying true to his word of not getting in the way of your work.
Sometime later, you saved your work again. "Gather for fan calls!" You shouted as you locked the computer.
In your lap Felix jumped about 3 feet in the air and sat up. You mouthed an apology and grimaced. You hadn't thought about it when you suddenly shouted right in his ear after being quiet for so long.
As we waited for everyone, you and Felix created a little space in the living room to do the calls. Blank light brown backdrop, comfy seating, and the camera stand set up right in front of it.
"You do things so differently. Not as much big fancy production." Felix mentioned off hand.
You suddenly got a little self-conscious. You were still new at this job, and you had done nothing this big before. You wanted to do a good job, but you aren't a big fancy production type person. Anything you can keep small, you tend to. But that wasn't what the others were used to. They had worked hard to get where they are, and they deserved the fancy productions that matched how big they were. How far they had come. How much they worked to get there.
Maybe it would be a good idea - after your reveal video - if you sought out some of the old social media people or the ones from different groups and studied how they did things with these bigger artists. So you could do things the way the group was already used to. It wouldn't hurt to keep things the same for them, so it was less stressful.
For now, you shook the thought off. Now wasn't the time to think of these things. It was too late to change what was already being done. They would need to deal with the way things are for now.
You refocus on the task at hand. Pulling the fan call schedule up on your work tablet and connecting it to the camera so it was ready to go when the boys were.
"Fan calls are so fun! It's been a while since we have done them." Chan walked in and rubbed his hands together.
Everyone else followed just after him, in cozy but nice-looking clothes, hair and makeup. They looked relaxed. The group plopped down around the living room, looking to you. Looking for any last-minute instructions.
You sighed; everything was as ready as it could be. "Alright. So, with the search for the ninth member being teased hard right now they will be bound to ask questions and try to get information."
"So don't be pabos and let anything slip." Lino cut in.
"Yes. True. I know this isn't the way you are used to doing this, so hopefully you aren't too thrown off. Be on guard but have fun. Chan, you are first."
"Don't worry, babe, we got this." Chan kissed your cheek as he went by to set himself in front of the camera and wait for the first call to start.
Fan call behind the scenes was more hectic than you had really thought it would be. But you shouldn't be surprised. Your soulmates thrived on being chaotic after all. And it wasn't more than you could easily handle.
Most fans were fun and respectful on their calls, engaging the boys in interesting questions and games. Wishing them luck on their search for their ninth member but not pressing for information when initially shut down.
But there is always one in the bunch. Third to last fan call the fan only cared about getting information on the search. Going so far as to bombard Han as soon as he got on instead of even greeting him. Almost yelling their demanding questions into the camera.
Han, though flustered, did a very good job of answering the invasive questions without revealing anything. Even though the fan got increasingly frustrated and kept pushing the subject. Everyone was glad when that call ended, and you immediately took note of the fan to place them on a block list. They wouldn't have another chance at a fan call to spread their disrespect for your soulmates.
You sighed as the last call finally ended and eveyone relaxed. "Fantastic job!" You praised immediatly starting to clean up.
"Leave it for right now, Y/n. We will pick it up later." Ayen said, patting the seat next to him in invitation.
And it was a very tempting invite. You didn't like denying your soulmates cuddles or time with you, but there was looming deadlines and a lot of work that needed to be done. You shook your head and kept going. "Sorry, can't. I still have a lot of work to do on the YouTube video."
You finished up the cleaning and went back to your room to work. This time, you softly shut the door so you would have no distractions, then settled back in to hopefully get a good chunk done.
You skipped dinner in favor of getting more of the video edited. You also had all the social media to go through before you could end your night. Clips of the fan calls had already made their way online and some of the boys commented on them or reacted to them.
You were happy to see the one fan call with the overly pushy fan was not getting a whole lot of love from the other members of STAY. Condemning the fan for wasting their opportunity to talk to their favorite idol. And it was so disrespectful. Not just to the idol, but to the fans who didn't get to do the fan call. Who wanted nothing more than those precious minutes with one of the boys and wasn't able to for one reason or another.
Plus, you set up some time with other social media workers in the company to talk with them and shadow them for a bit to learn from them. You had to sacrifice some of the little time you had to work on the YouTube video tomorrow, but it would be worth it for the knowledge. And you would find more time somehow. It would get done.
The next day you had the soul group photo shoot. It was a relaxing concept, something that fit with your personality since it was your debut shoot. Classic coffee shop/bookstore backdrop.
The softness of the boys when the photos come out will be very popular with STAY. The only thing better than sexual tension photos was fluffy photos.
Even as excited as you were, you were still nervous as hell. And your stomach was not cooperating with you this morning. You stuck with coffee and an apple for breakfast.
"You should eat more, you didn't eat dinner last night either." Bin said disapprovingly when it was obvious that I wasn't going to eat anything else.
You patted his chest and took a sip of your drink before going back to your room without responding to his concern.
You all traveled to the set together in a van. You spent the ride wearing earbuds and working from your laptop set up on your knees. Lino sat next to you quietly as the others talked amongst themselves. They were all still pretty calm because it was an early morning.
You were anxious to finish the video. It was premeiring in less than 24 hours. On top of that this photoshoot would need to be released as well, and you would need to approve of and choose the photos. And the boys' socials were going to blow up with both, so you were going to be swamped with work for the next several days before it would even out to steady again for a bit.
And the boys had their own schedules as well. Ayen, Lino, And Bin woud be traveling for several days for interviews and videos. Chan and Han had songs to work on for an upcoming comeback. Seungmin and Felix had several photoshoots coming up with fashion agencies. And Hyune was shooting a commercial/magazine spread. You were all going to be over the top busy.
And there was one thing you needed to add to the schedule. Your part of the YouTube video was done enough that you could record their reactions to the secret you have been keeping from them.
"I would like to add a reaction video after the photo shoot today. There is a tiny slot of time, and it should only take a few minutes." You announced.
There were mummers of agreement and acceptance. "Reaction to what?" Chan asked. He was sitting directly behind you.
"My interview." You didn't want to give too much away, it would ruin all the fun of a reaction video.
"Did you actually spill dirt on us?" Lino asked.
You feigned hurt, clutching your chest. "How dare! Of course not!" Well at least not anything crucial. Any 'slips' were thought out and planned in advance. Only looking like an accident.
After your hair and makeup was done, you looked at yourself in the mirror and tried to make some faces that you remembered seeing others make online or in magazines. They all felt stupid to you. You had never modeled before, and you honestly should have taken some time to ask the boys for help getting prepared.
"Hyune, can you help me with something?" You asked quietly embarrassed. Last minute practicing could only do so much and you felt like you dropped the ball.
Hyune put his phone down and looked up at you, waiting. He looked so soft in his cozy sweater and floofy hair. Light soft makeup with blush placed high up on his cheeks and nose. "Sure, what did you need?"
Looking down you twisted your fingers. "I have never done this before. How do I make good poses and faces?"
Face softening, Hyune gently smiled and gestured you forward. You were wearing a long brown skirt, a white loose button-up with flowing sleeves, and small flower embroidery on the collar. Brown boots with lace socks peeking out from the top and black tights on under those.
You were expecting a bit of teasing or, at the very least, a laugh, so it was a pleasant surprise when he just turned you to face the vanity mirror, standing you in between his legs. His chair was tall enough that he could still see over your shoulder, even still sitting.
As the others were getting ready and joking around, he went over basics with you, having you practice simple soft looks that would match the vibe of the shoot. Helping you find natural and good-looking body positions as well and giving you small bits of advice.
"Don't worry too much. We will all help and eventually this will come naturally like it does to us." He finally said when he had done all he could in the short time you had.
"And things can sometimes get frustrating and intense, so don't take anything too personal. It's all in the moment." Ayen warned, joining you.
Oh great. Hopefully you didn't make them fight by being so bad you stressed them out. Plus, the added stress of this shoot not being like their others for several reasons. You had wanted to find a new cozy vibe and setting they hadn't done yet. A theme that felt fresh. But maybe it was too different for them. Maybe they wouldn't feel it and hate it.
"It's different than usual. The theme and how the shoot is going to be run. I'm not sure how they ran them before, so bear with it, please. And let me know what needs to be done that I missed, okay?" I am damn good at what I do, but this wasn't just about me. This was a team effort. And they were my bosses.
"I'm sure it will be fine." Felix patted your back carefully. You smiled at him, still unsure.
Well actually, you were sure. You were sure you were messing up all of Stray Kids flows. Pretty sure you weren't doing anything like they wanted you to. Just barely squeaking by for now with the excuse that this was all new to you. But damn if the fans would notice anything bad. It was all behind the scenes that was the issue. You could edit the shit out of anything bad before posting behind the scenes videos, so that secret would never get out.
You were very pleased when you finally saw the finished set in person. It turned out just as you had imagined it. Getting it set up on such short notice meant that it was mostly done over texts, phone calls, pictures, and video calls. So the fact that it came out so perfect was a great accomplishment on everyone's parts. The staff you worked with did great in being patient and understanding with you and an amazing job at bringing your vision to life.
During the shoot everyone was exceptionally patient with you. Both staff and the boys helped you get into positions and fix your facial expressions. The camera man mostly shouted at you. He was getting irritated with your inexperience and frustrated when you didn't know how to do what he was asking.
You could tell several of your soul mates were getting angry at him and how he was speaking to you.
"Hey, stop! You are getting paid to do a job, not scream at us!" Ayen finally snapped near the end of your one-on-one portion of the shoot. At this point, you had been fighting tears for several different poses, and he had noticed.
"It's fine, Ayen. Leave it be. It's my fault anyways." You whispered to him, not wanting to have him get a bad reputation by insulting the photographer.
"No, it's not. You are new at this, and he knows that. He can be more helpful and understanding." Ayen grumbled pulling you in close and hiding your face from the camera for a moment so you could get rid of the few tears that managed to escape. "I know you are tired, it's almost over. Just hold on a little longer." He kissed your forehead, and you heard camera clicks. He was still posing and working the camera, even while comforting you. A true professional at this.
Bottom line, you were glad when it was finally over. You were exhausted and still had a lot of stuff to do today before you could rest.
Nevertheless, as soon as you were out of the outfit for the shoot you started setting up for the reaction video while the boys gathered.
"Is this going to be a good reaction?" Han asked. He claimed the first seat.
"Don't know. I just think its something STAY will enjoy watching once the full video comes out." You shrugged. You hoped they wouldn't be upset about your fun little white lie.
"Are you okay?"
Smiling tightly, you nod. "Just tired."
"Take a nap then. Don't push yourself." He looked concerned, which made you wonder just how bad you looked.
You ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
"Of course you will. You are one of us now." Seungmin said as he sat in his seat.
As soon as everyone was sat you started. "Okay, we don't have a lot of time, so just watch and react naturally. I'll edit later."
You press play and stand back, biting your lip nervously. It's not like they would react too badly, right? They may be slightly upset you deceived them, but most likely not downright angry. Right?
"Ah!" Bin shouted pointing at the screen as soon as you revealed you were fluent in Korean.
Felix stared at you with his mouth open, Lino laughed and clapped. Chan snorted, and Hyune had a wide smile on his face. Seungmin was smirking with an odd look on his face you couldn't place. You just hoped it was a positive one. They all immediately switched to Korean.
"You have been able to speak Korean this whole freaking time!" Felix shouted
"'Why didn't you say anything?" Chan asked.
You shrugged. "You never asked and it wasn't really a big issue."
"I have been struggling all this time for nothing?" Lino responded gesturing with both hands to the screen.
The only one who didn't really react in any way was Han. "Han? Are you mad?" You didn't like how quiet he was being.
He shrugged. "I kind of already knew. You were flipping back and forth the other day when we were putting the shelf together."
"No wonder you haven't tried to start learning Korean!" Felix clapped his hands once, the loud noise making you flinch slightly. You were tense and stressed. Luckily, they didn't seem to notice the small flinch.
"Know any other secret languages?" Ayen asked still smiling.
"Several. I have a gift for languages." You respond, bragging only a little.
"Japanese?" Felix asked, now curious.
You nod.
"Chinese?"
"Several."
"Thai."
"Love their BL. They have some of the best out there. Was worth learning just to watch them."
"Really? BL?" Lino asked incredulous.
"We all have our guilty pleasures." You were way beyond being embarrassed about BL. Now you even watched it in public without so much as a blush.
"French?" Felix was still on the languages. Naming mostly places that Stray Kids went the most.
But this one always caught you some flack. "Ew, no."
"Ew?"
"Unpopular opinion, but I think the language is ugly. No offense to anyone! Just the sound of it doesn't scratch my brain right. More like nails on a chalkboard."
"So, you just never learned it?"
"More like I couldn't. Couldn't stomach it." No one pushed it.
You gave them another few seconds to process all the new information. Let it really sink in and marinate.
"Are you upset?"
Bin shook his head, eyes wide. He baby stepped to you and pulled you into a hug. "Shocked is all, I promise."
Letting out a breath, your shoulders dropped as you relaxed and placed your hands on his sides.
You rested your chin on his shoulder as he twisted back in forth in place soothingly.
"Well, I'm mad!" Seungmin declared.
Bin rubbed your back gently when you flinched lightly, unable to hide this one since you were being held by him.
"Minnie, you can't mean that." Han said softly.
But Seungmin nodded. "I'm mad I didn't figure it out sooner! The evidence of the lie is all right there!"
"You're not mad at Y/n, though, right?" Felix tried to clarify.
The alarm on your phone went off and you pulled away from Bin. "Doesn't matter. Times up. Gotta go." You quickly gathered your things and packed up. Maybe some time will cool Seungmin off and everything will be okay when you went home.
"The van isn't ready yet." Chan pointed out.
You shook your head. "I'll be at JYPE. I have to meet with several people and learn how your last social media expert did things. Don't wait up. I'll be really late tonight." You waved to the group with a smile and left quickly.

the squad had been nothing but worried for you these past six months. when jake was first sent to prison, you had fallen into a fit of depression, taking weeks on end away from work and letting all your cases go to waste. eventually, you made your way back into work and started on cases again - holt understood completely and did his best to not get you fired over those weeks.
soon enough you managed to come into work regularly, but it was always obvious how the loss of jake had changed you.
together, they had decided it was best to leave you out of the investigation to get him out of prison - just in case it didn't go well and you were crushed again.
so without your knowledge, the squad had been going between precincts, all over new york, to both prisons and back again several times in one day, all to prove jake and rosa innocent. and they had gone and done just that - but you had no idea.
the team had made up a fake case the sergeant was supposed to be working on. somewhere along the way, he had to go pick up information about a higher up in a drug gang from someone down in south carolina. you knew that's where jake's prison was, but why would you ever make that connection? visit day wasn't for another two weeks.
terry had convinced you to go with him, it was on the journey to the prison, where you started to connect the dots.
"hey, sarge?" you questions, terry humming in response as he drove past a sign titled 'jericho supermax prison', "why are we in south carolina again?"
he shrugged. "my informant lives around here."
coughing into your fist, you started to recognize the motorway's surroundings, it hadn't been the first time you had made this drive. a couple months ago; visiting day. "you couldn't just give him a call?"
terry shook his head, signaling to turn into the next lane. "insists on meeting in person..."
you caught his eyes as he looked over at you when he spoke. he knew immediately from the dull look from your eyes that you knew he was lying. you hated people lying to you, the whole squad knew that. terry sighed.
"so you know how boyle and holt have been disappearing every now and again for that murder case?" he asked, and when you nodded he continued. "there was no murder case. they were down here."
furrowing your eyebrows, you spotted yet another sign directed for the prison. "what were they doing?"
"trying to prove jake and rosa innocent."
you swallowed, stomach tightening at his speech, turning your head to look out the window. "and?" part of you didn't want to know the outcome, but then... if there was a chance, you wanted- needed to know.
terry let the smile creep into the corners of his lips. "why do you think we're on the way to the prison?"
"sarge?" you really didn't want to get your hopes up, but all the signs were pointing in the best direction. "don't play around-"
"charles and gina are currently on their way to get rosa, and we wouldn't be on our way to the prison if jake wasn't getting released today."
"he's free?" terry hadn't seen your eyes go to bright in all the six months jake had been gone, but there they were.
he nodded, grinning now and turning into the prison pick up. "yes!"
happiness, hope. for the first time in six months, your boyfriend would be a free man and everything would go back to normal. the two of you would go back to new york and finally be together again.
when terry was finished parking, the two of you swiftly left the car and entered the main part of the prison. there were a couple others standing around, also waiting to pick people up but you stood out in the open, making sure you were visible easily to anyone that walked through the corridor.
the place was a shit hole, to say the least. even this waiting area was drab. yellow, bordering on beige walls, the stone and brick still visible in a lot of places. down the corridor, you could take a peak at where ex-convicts stood to finish the paperwork and pick up their belongings. a tired officer in a beige uniform sat behind a glass screen with a speak on each side, stamping each piece of paper that was slid underneath the glass. he probably hated his job just as much as the convicts hated being in the prison.
it was as you noticed a mother to the left of you hugging her 20-odd year old son who was just released, when you saw him.
he had the largest smile possible on his face, still in the beige prison uniform, donning a beard that had only been a work in progress since you last saw him. you didn't hate it, you realized, as you watched him pick up his stuff, a bit of cash, keys and the clothes he first arrived in all those six months ago. oh, it felt like a lifetime ago, now.
when he turned, his eyes were at his feet. the officer accompanying him undid his handcuffs, letting him go. you saw him thank the officer before moving forward. he was truly a sweetheart, even in the worst possible circumstances.
then he saw you, and his smile only grew larger.
you caught his eyes, dropping your bag at your feet, knowing terry would take care of it while you were away. you ran to him.
"jake!" you shouted, as you did so, jumping into his arms as he also dropped what he was carrying. he caught you perfectly as he mumbled your name, burying his face into your neck as your legs wrapped around his waist. "oh my god."
"i missed you so much." he sighed into your skin, breathing you in and simultaneously breathing in the reality: he was a free man now.
dropping your legs from around his waist, you resting a hand on his cheek, pulling him down to your level. his hands fell to your hips, one moving to the small of your back as he kissed you like a starved man finally given a meal. okay, the beard was definitely growing on you, you had to admit.
pulling away, you grinned up at him. "what's it feel like finally being a free man?"
"so good, babe." he cooed, soft 'baby browns', as charles called them, staring back down at you, reaching down to take your hand in his in order to start walking back to terry. "there's so much i've missed, i wanna do everything."
"ti-"
"title of my sex tape, i know." he chuckled under his breath, looking at you with purely a look of love. full of hope, full of a future. just a couple days ago, the world looked bleak; he had years left rotting away in prison, but now everything was looking up. life would go back to normal. "come on, let's get home, i need to get back to normality as soon as possible."
you hummed at him, making your way back over to terry.
Tumblr media
"it was so difficult keeping it from you!" boyle admitted, taking a sip from his beer as he was sat at the booth's table at shaw's a day later.
jake slid into the booth, sat next to you, the next round gathered between his hands. "they didn't tell you?"
when the three of you had landed back in brooklyn, nobody wanted to do anything. you texted rosa, making sure she was okay and everything went well with her release but soon enough, you and jake had caught an uber back to your shared apartment and collapsed into bed, too tired to do anything but sleep.
the next morning, the captain arranged a set of drinks at shaw's for everyone to meet to celebrate jake and rosa's return. everyone that was important turned up. after so long without jake, you were practically glued to his hip. rosa and gina were catching up with holt up by the bar, terry and sharon had to leave early to get back to the girls, which left you, amy, jake, charles and genevieve in one of the booths.
you laughed at jake as he rested a hand on your thigh, drinking from his glass as he looked to you for an answer.
"no, i had no clue." chuckling, you turned to charles. "they were so worried i'd fall into yet another pit of depression if it didn't work, they just didn't involve me, then suddenly terry had got me onto a flight to jericho, and well, you know the rest."
everyone but jake laughed, with eyebrows furrowed he set his beer down onto the nearest coaster, looking directly at you. you noticed, but didn't get to say anything before charles continued the conversation further.
he shook his head, laughing. "i tried to get the sarge to let me take you down to jericho instead, but of course, there was no way i would have been able to keep the secret for even five minutes so terry insisted he take you."
"you were so bummed." amy chimed in.
picking up your own drink that jake had bought over just a couple seconds ago, you took a sip, trying to distract yourself from jake's gaze.
it wasn't that you didn't want him to know about your state when he was away, you just didn't want to have that conversation. him being gone had knocked you down an insane amount, and that was embarrassing to admit. you had personally decided it would just be better for him to never find out about it. to save yourself and him having that conversation.
but jake peralta was an insistent man. he wasn't going to let it go unnoticed, that was for sure.
as charles, amy and genevieve fell into conversation, jake turned to you, lowering his voice in order to not let the others pick up on what he was saying. you gulped as he started speaking. "babe, what did you mean by a pit of depression?"
"don't... uh, don't worry about it." you brushed it off, trying to weave yourself back into the groups conversation, but jake simply did not let that happen.
"please talk to me about this."
you looked him dead in the eyes, seeing love and worry mixed in with the brown and knowing that you would have to speak about it. you nodded, gesturing to the door and watching as jake slipped out of the booth, taking your hand.
"jake and i will be right back." you spoke, letting the others wave you off as jake let you outside.
it wasn't cold outside, still early september, but a shiver ran down your spine as you leant against the brick wall of the alley that ran down the side of shaw's bar.
swallowing, you crossed your arms over your chest and watched as he looked over your figure. "jake, i think you might possibly be the best thing that's ever happened to me. so, naturally, having to live in our apartment without you, having to wake up without you, go into our place of work knowing you wouldn't be there, having to work on cases without your input, it got to a point that i couldn't handle."
his eyes softened at you, your gaze falling to your shoes against the ground. "oh, honey."
"it got better eventually, but for a couple weeks, i let cases go, i stayed home a lot, you get the idea." you admitted, laughing a bit about it now, knowing that jake was standing right in front of you and everything was okay again.
"it makes sense why the squad didn't tell you that they were investigating my innocence," he nodded as he spoke, understanding the situation better. "because i don't even want to think about what would have happened if you had known and they hadn't been able to get me out."
smiling softly at him, you nodded.
"c'mere." he mumbled, palm against your cheek as he lend down and softly, softer than ever, pressed his lips against yours. you let yourself fall into him, fingers grasping at his shirt as he hands slid around your waist, pulling you flush against his body.
you sighed through your nose, eyes fluttering open as he relaxed backward. "i love you."
smiling, he lifted your chin with his index finger. "i love you more, always. i'll do anything to make sure i never leave like that again."
hand in hand, the two of you made your way back into the bar. you knew you wouldn't stay for much longer, just wanting to spend time with each other. as you slid into the booth again, jake leant into your ear for one last comment.
"i think you're the best thing to ever happen to me, too, by the way."
you smiled as he pulled back, inserting himself into a conversation with charles again, watching as he spoke. everything was okay again, after six dim months: everything was okay, and it would stay that way for as long as the two of you were able to make sure it did.

In Room For Growth Mariner really does heavily imply that she'd finally do something to get herself kicked out of Starfleet if Brad's "Bold Boimler" antics got him killed.

gojo showing off your back scratches to geto
( cont from this fic! req, visual ) .
contains: sex talk, desc of back scratches, crack, sugu is called daddy once (as a joke.. right..)
Tumblr media
everything was relatively peaceful in suguru's apartment. key word: relatively.
a forgettable yet appreciated sunday afternoon, not a cloud in sight despite the weather forecast predicting downpours of rain. either way, the raven-haired man insouciantly rested across his white couch, reaching the conclusion that today would be a day for self-care, relaxing, and perhaps some meditation.
there was only one thing ruining his peace.
all morning, suguru has been forced to try and ignore the stain a certain someone has left on his couch — a pair of unecessarily expensive yet dirty shoes being the culprit.
despite these attempts, every once in a while his gaze can't help but wander over at the mark — as if it'd poof out of existence if he glared hard enough.
"fuckin' asshole.." he mutters. it was a wonder his relationship with his best friend managed to stay so promising despite all their differences, yet suguru wouldn't have it any other way, even after situations like this.
right when he grumpily turns back to the tv — which was playing some crappy, low budget rom-com — his apartment door is yanked open and suguru swears he nearly jumps out of his seat.
great, was this it? was he about to get robbed, perhaps evicted? and then probably die? forced into the afterlife knowing gojo's shoe-shit was still on his new couch? no that can't—
"i fucked her!"
suguru whips his head towards the apartment door, announcement being disregarded as he nearly groans in agony. speak of the devil.
big blue eyes peak out from under circular sunglasses, one hand already raised in preparation for a dap up while his stupid, big, dirty shoe pushes the door closed behind him. gojo wears a black compression shirt with grey sweats, marching over to his friend with a ginormous grin across his cheeks.
"take your shoes off, now," suguru snaps, nodding to his friend's feet with a frown.
"yeesh... whatever y'say, daddy," the bastard never loses his smile as his hands raise in surrender, kicking them off by the door smoothly. "what's got your panties in a twist?"
geto pinches his nose bridge. "don't call me that," as he continues the scolding, he points to the living room with his free hand. "you got a mystery stain on my couch, satoru. do you know how many youtube videos i watched trying to get this shit off?"
unphased, gojo takes a look at the strangely colored blob against the armrest's leather material and shrugs. "my bad. did you try febreeze?"
"what— no? dude, febreeze is for.." when suguru looks back up to sourly meet his gaze, he could immediately tell the white-haired man was already drifting back into la-la-land, words going in one ear and out the other. "..nevermind. why're you here?"
at the reminder, satoru seemingly brightens, head shooting back up as if he was just told he'd won the lottery.
"oh god, don't make that stupid face—" he pauses. "the fuck are you doing?" suguru might as well say goodbye to his self-care day, because now gojo was stripping in the middle of his living room, shirt thrown haphazardly onto the still-very-much-stained couch.
"just look!" suguru squints as his friend swivels around to face the wall, pushing his bangs away to get a better view of the— oh shit.
it takes the raven-haired man a second to process what he's seeing before shuffling forward, closely examining the achingly red, bulging scratch marks displayed sexily across the latter's back and shoulders. "no way.."
suguru knows the strongest sorcerer well enough to notice how he purposely didn't use reversed cursed technique on these scratches, just so it'd be obvious to anyone that caught a glimpse of what exactly occured. to his further dismay, he can already picture a smug and sweaty gojo walking around their local gym like this, proud simper on his pretty lips as he easily raises a pair of weights in his veiny hands.
a hiss escapes geto's mouth as he runs his finger down a particularly agitated one, knowing exactly how painful they could be after experiencing many hook-ups of his own. even so, satoru only licks his lips, neck craning to the side so he can pride himself in his friend's gobsmacked expression.
"damn, these are deep. you actually hit it?" suguru confirms, raising a celebratory hand.
turning back around, satoru daps him up, a massive smirk now on both their faces. "hell yeah, it was amazing."
it was impossible to predict what gojo would do next after barging through his front door — especially considering how many times he's done so — but this has to be the last thing suguru ever expected.
not that he was complaining — in fact, all of geto's temper and need for relaxation seemingly flew out the window, the feeling of proudness for his best friend overthrowing anything else.
and even if he hated to admit it, the way gojo was so eager to come over and announce his virginity loss to him was more than a little endearing, and dare he say cute.
"that's great, man. congrats." suguru leads him into the kitchen — still shamelessly shirtless — to grab them both a can of beer in celebration. while the white-haired man usually didn't get involved with any form of alcohol, this occasion was most definitely exception-worthy. "you made y/n cum too, right?"
an offended glare is shot his way. "duh, two times."
"huh. surprised you could last."
as suguru pours their drinks into two fragile cups, gojo exhales, not bothered in the slightest by his jab. "dude, same.." he admits dreamily. "she was so fuckin' tight and warm.. and oh— fuck, her moans? heavenly.. 'can't believe i didn't bust after the first minute.."
geto gulps, trying his best to ignore the mental image his brain was producing from his dirty words. you can't blame him — both of you were smoking hot, and he was a simple man.
even now, he could already imagine what you both looked like; panting and moaning, skin-slapping so loud that it echoed through the whole room, how blissed out you'd look as gojo's cock split you in t—
satoru's playful sigh cuts through the tensing air. "who knows sugs, maybe you'll have another kind of stain to worry about next time we're over~"
he's never snapped out of a daydream so quickly. "don't even joke about that."
over the next hour, the two men sat manspread on the stained couch, taking leisure sips while recalling satoru's final moments as a virgin — suguru giving out his secret tips and tricks along the way.
maybe sometime, suguru could offer some.. hands-on learning instead.

katsuki is pissed the fuck off.
it doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell. whenever he's angry he makes it extremely obvious and most of the time it becomes everyone's problem. but it's weird to you because he was fine like, 5 seconds ago.
until 5 seconds ago he'd gotten back from buying groceries for the class and kissed you on the forehead as a greeting. he'd even brought the oranges you'd begged him to get last minute because you'd randomly been craving them, even after saying he wouldn't (but you both knew he would.)
but now he's pissed, and you have no idea why.
he's not saying anything either, but he keeps huffing and clicking his tongue every once in a while, fist pressed hard against his cheek and his jaw locked tightly chewing on the little piece of the own orange he'd been eating and finished a bit ago.
you keep munching on your piece of orange as you stare at him, and then you poke at his cheek. he grunts, shooing your hand away and leaning away from you.
"what's got you so grouchy ?" you tilt your head with a raised brow, he scoffs. readjusting his leg on the couch. you fight the urge to roll your eyes. he's ignoring you now ?
"katsuki."
silence.
"katsukiii-"
"it's nothin'." he growls, huffing through his nose.
this time you do roll your eyes "sure, that's why you're being all cranky." slowly, you inch towards his spot on the couch where he'd secluded himself away. he hasn't left the room and he doesn't react to you getting closer besides a slight side eye, so you know he's probably just being dramatic.
his nose scrunches up at your wording and he pretends he doesn't notice you lifting his arm up to lay in them. he doesn't comment on how he almost immediately changes his position to make you more comfortable.
"m'not cranky." he spits, eyebrows contorting and a pout settles onto his face "not a baby."
could've fooled me you think, but you decide against actually saying it. you're smile widens when his eyes narrow once he meets yours, he pinches your side "quit starin' at me."
"katsukiii. what's got your panties in a bunch ?" you coo and katsuki gives you the most repulsed look you've ever seen him make.
"don't ever say that ever again, i'm so fucking serious." he groans at your giggling, leaning his head away and shoving his palm in your face to get away from you like he couldn't just leave the room instead of actively pulling you closer to him. really, could've fooled you.
"ya didn't let me peel yer orange for you.." he mumbles grumpily.
you blink up at him "..what ?"
eyebrows furrowing just at the memory, he continues "was gone for three seconds to put away the damn groceries an' here you go, prancing around me, throwin' your peel away in the trash right in front of me."
oh, wow.
"katsuki. really ?"
"you know i always do it for you. yn." he sasses.
"that's why you were so mad at me ?" your giggles muffled by him pressing your head into his shoulder in a headlock.
"you were busy !" you fight weakly.
"so ? if you've got shit to do you come to me, i woulda done it in two seconds. peeling oranges doesn't take that long, dummy."
you keep giggling as you try to fight him off before you hear him snort and he releases you.
as stupid as it may sound, katsuki isn't the best when it comes to letting his affection be known through words, so you know how much acts of services, as small as they are, mean to him.
you sometimes forget how much he loves to do little things for you. throwing away your little candy wrappers, or already unwrapping your ice cream for you. or absentmindedly fixing up and sorting out your desk, or bookshelf when he sees your manga out of order or sticking out too much. the little ways he cares for you make your heart flutter. you smile up at him and offer him a piece of orange. he scowls at it.
"don't want your stupid orange." he mutters childishly, but you don't have enough time to pull away to eat it yourself before he grips your wrist. bringing it up to his mouth to eat it anyway. you roll your eyes with a fond smile.
"i'll be sure to leave the orange peeling to you from now on." you jest. he grunts in approval, softly chewing on the slice of juicy orange before patting your wrists, signalling he wants more. and you snort, but you still hand him another piece. his warm grip on your wrist remains even though he could very well just take it out of your hands. he hums again when the taste kicks in.
"you better, i mean it. otherwise it's your funeral."

ೃ⁀➷ being jun-ho's s/o would include ¡!
in which you're romantically involved with the police officer doing his best to find his brother and put a stop to the squid games
a/n : lots of love to my dearest friend @angelseraphines for not only getting me into this brilliantly-written show, but also for looking over my fic to double-check my characterisation and to give me a second opinion on it. if you aren't already following her, please go ahead and make sure that you do so 🙏
also this turned into a full-on fic please just roll with the punches 🙏bit of a cliche first date but I fear that I have very little dating experience so you guys are gonna have to deal with that, I fear.
Tumblr media
╰┈➤ it was the middle of winter when you met the policeman for the first time. the air was crisp and frigid, icicles were hanging from rooftops and everywhere you turned you could see colourful outfits in contrast with the white snow and hear the sound of shovels scraping against sidewalks. a kind-eyed man in a reflective green vest caught your attention at the same time a car smacked a young woman and drove off.
╰┈➤ you stepped forward to testify, wanting to help out the woman. she thankfully didn't appear to be in critical danger, save for the bruising on her hip and the apparent fracture in her left hand — and so you headed off with them to the station to give your statement. the woman was allowed to give her statement and leave immediately, due to the obvious state her hand was in and her need to visit a hospital. you were left then with the kind-eyed officer from earlier, who brought you a sizzling cup of hot chocolate and sat down to wait with you until you could sign off on your witness testimony.
╰┈➤ talking with him was so relaxing for you. it felt as if you had known him for years and the banter between you and him felt natural and light. you couldn't remember when was the last time you laughed that much — little did you know that he felt the same way.
╰┈➤ as you headed off to leave, your eyes searched for him amongst the worn-out chairs and stacked files. you wanted a chance to say goodbye, regardless of the dread gathering in your chest at the thought that you'd never see him again. you were disappointed when one of his colleagues informed you that he had to head off back to his post — that was until you were handed a slip of paper with his name and number on it. he was far too professional to make the move himself, but his colleague could see you two liked one another and took it upon himself to push you towards him. with a grateful smile and a glint of unadulterated joy in your eyes, you left the building and headed off to meet up with the friend you'd made plans with that day. you would be a little late, but you were sure she wouldn't mind once you told her about your day.
╰┈➤ admittedly, it took you a couple of days to call the handsome officer, whose name you now knew to be hwang jun-ho. every time you picked up the phone, your legs would become jittery and you'd find yourself pacing around your room. a little seed of doubt took its root within you, but on the fourth day you finally gave in and pressed the call button. once he recognised your voice, his lips curled into a smile on the other end of the line. he was a bit concerned when his colleague gave you his number, but he was glad to see that you weren't put off by it. on that cold winter's night, you talked and talked until you both fell asleep grasping your phones, the line still on.
╰┈➤ these cozy evening calls became routine for the two of you, with him initiating them when he got off work. you learned more about him — that he was close with his mom, that he was set to get a promotion soon and that he wanted to work in major crimes as a detective someday and that he would often look in on his brother when he had some spare time. he didn't talk much about him, but you got the feeling that whatever it was his brother experienced wasn't something you wanted to press him much on — so you didn't. he made the effort to ask you more about yourself as well, so you talked to him about your job, your family, and your friends. you talked to him about your hobbies, the places you wanted to visit, and the things that made you happy. neither of you had ever really felt so comfortable, so quickly with another person — it was a lovely feeling, one that you both desperately latched onto.
╰┈➤ a couple of weeks after you started talking, jun-ho finally managed to get a day off. his tone of voice was dignified, yet dulcet as he invited you to go see a movie and then to dinner with him. you replied immediately and enthusiastically, gripping the phone so tightly in your hand that it almost felt like you could break it if you squeezed it in just a slightly tighter manner.
╰┈➤ like a true gentleman, he picked you up from your apartment on the day of the date and you found yourself glancing at him admiringly as he drove, trying his hardest to keep his eyes on the road and not on you. when you arrived at the cinema, you were surprised to see that the movie he got tickets for was the one you'd been raving to him about for weeks. "I wasn't sure if you wanted to go see it with a friend, but I figured it would make for a pretty good first date" he admitted with a hint of humour in his voice. you responded by telling him you thought it was a wonderful idea.
╰┈➤ the cinema hall was dark, illuminated only by the gleam of the screen as the opening scene of the movie was unfolding. he had to admit that the plot was intriguing, but he found himself glancing down at you every so often. halfway through the film, he found the courage to extend his hand, and you grasped it into yours as gleeful smile made its way onto your face. even as your hands began to feel a bit sweaty, you couldn't bring yourselves to let go.
╰┈➤ on the way to the restaurant, you launched yourselves into a proper conversation about the movie, laughing and joking about its points and twists as the rosy sunset gave way to a melancholy dusk. the staff and guests moved around in a lively manner, as the sound of glass and ceramic reverbated through the room — and the view from the windows was absolutely breathtaking. you could tell that he'd done his best to keep your preferences in mind when he was looking for a place to take you to. you held his hand across the table as you waited for the food to arrive, and you spent the better part of the evening comfortably talking to one another. every so often, his eyes would dart to your lips, but he made no move to reach across the table — not yet, at least.
╰┈➤ his shoes were crunching on the frozen ground as he followed you to your front door, and as you turned back to see your goodbye, he leaned in and gave you a gentle kiss on the lips — one which you eagerly reciprocated. he pressed a gentle kiss to both of your hands before he departed, and he called you once again as he got home.
╰┈➤ it didn't take long after that for the two of you to become an official couple. you began to visit him at work when you had the time, and he'd take an hour or two after work was done to slip by and spend some time with you. you would lounge on your couch with a glass of wine in your hand — if he was staying the night he'd drink a few too, and if he wasn't then he'd drink some tea.
╰┈➤ he would feel awful about waking you early in the morning when he had to return to his apartment and get ready for work, but he always made sure to write you a note and find your kettle so you could boil water for tea or coffee when you got up. he always kissed your forehead and whispered a sentence or two of affection before he left. he knew you couldn't hear him, but he felt the need to say them nonetheless.
╰┈➤ realistically, it wouldn't take long for you to meet his mother and brother. jun-ho always made time to visit her, and in-ho had given him his kidney. they were a close-knit family and he wanted the people most important to him to meet the person he was rapidly becoming more and more serious with. his brother seemed quiet and solemn, but he wasn't unkind. save for your greeting and goodbye, you only exchanged a few awkward words — most of which were just polite questions. you got the underlying feeling that he was a very tormented man, and the sight of a family photo on the counter with his arms wrapped around an unfamiliar woman confirmed your suspicions. jun-ho's mother, on the other hand, was incredibly warm and welcoming. she trusted her son's judgement, and she embraced you as if she'd met you a thousand times before. she prepared a fantastic meal, and she showed you photos of jun-ho and in-ho throughout their childhood. your joyous laughter echoed through the room as the younger of the two brothers covered his face with his hands. when it was time to return home, you found yourself hesitant to leave the warm atmosphere of the older woman's apartment — she made you promise to come visit her often. you agreed enthusiastically.
╰┈➤ when you returned home that evening, you asked him about his brother. he opened up to you then, about all the things he'd never really talked about. about the week his brother went missing a couple of years ago, about the death of his brother's pregnant wife and about the kidney he received from his brother. his voice was on the verge of breaking as he uttered out one string of words after the other, and his eyes began to gloss over. you held him close then, and from that moment on it was as if he could tell you anything — trust you with everything. it was the turning point between being two people who truly liked eachother to being partners.
╰┈➤ the change from living apart to living together was pretty seamless. at one point, you both realised that most of his stuff was already at your place and you just ended up moving the rest of it in. from that point on, he never really had to worry about going back to his place or getting up extremely early to get ready for work. you'd stay awake huddled under the blankets with his arms wrapped around you as you kept one another up to date with what you got up to during the day, and what you wanted to do as soon as you found some free time.
╰┈➤ if you're out together and he sensed that the chill from the cold weather outside is getting to you, he'd sneakily slip his jacket around your shoulders and offer you a teasing quip as he zipped it up with a light smirk on his face. your protests of not being that cold would be met with an exasperated look.
╰┈➤ you didn't hear him the first time he told you he loved you. as he kissed your forehead and whispered to you in the morning, it simply slipped out. he didn't realise it until he spoke it out loud. when he returned home that evening, those were the first words out of his mouth — and you said it back. after that, he always made to include his declarations of love in his morning notes, and they were the first and last words on his lips each time you said your helloes and goodbyes.
╰┈➤ you're there for him as he climbs the ranks in the police, and you'll never forget the look on his face when he came home with the news of finally receiving his promotion to detective. he spun you around as he placed kisses on your face, and you leaned in and kissed him with passion to show him just how proud of him you were. he took you out to celebrate that evening, and he took you to the same restaurant where you had your first date. it would go on to become your go-to place for celebrating special occasions. the following day, you went to visit his mother. tears of joy slipped from her eyes as she embraced him, and it wasn't long before she drew you into her embrace as well. it was the first time you saw something that didn't look like grief or sadness in his brother's eyes. you saw pride.
╰┈➤ he definitely wants to get married, and the two of you have talked about it, but both of you want to have a wedding when the entire family feels like they can actually celebrate. the dark cloud of grief that seems to constantly hang over in-ho's head has encouraged you both to wait a while. regardless, you two have already discussed so many of the details — the song you'd like to have for your first dance, the colour palette, the season when you'd like to have it in and where.
╰┈➤ he's incredibly observant, a trait that has helped him in both his private and professional life. he remembers the little things about you — he keeps track of the things you talk to him about, notes the ways in which your features contort when you see something you like or dislike, and goes out of his way to make your life easier in small ways.
╰┈➤ when you are both too tired to get ready and get ready for a proper date, but still want to do more than simply stay inside the whole time, he'll take you for a drive around the city. sometimes you get stuck in traffic, sometimes you get to breeze through the vibrant streets. for these dates, you have two playlists — one made up of both yours and his favourite songs, and another made up of ballads and romantic declarations weaved into music. which one you end up putting on depends on the atmosphere, but the second one tends to be the one you play when you park atop a cliff and take some time to glance at the stars.
╰┈➤ he rarely ever gets jealous, because he's confident in your relationship and he trusts you. that being said, he is incredibly protective — and he's always watching out for you. this bleeds into his affectionate nature, and the hand wrapped around your shoulder when you're out and about means two things. one, that he wants to be close to you and this is his way of expressing it. two, that he's warding off any unwanted attention and anybody who would seek to do you harm. he's a detective, so of course he's great at multi-tasking.
╰┈➤ while he mostly saves flowers for special occasions, he goes out of his way to get you baked goods when he's on his way back from work. you remarked once on how the pastries he brought you from the bakery near his station reminded you of something you ate regularly in your childhood, and he was nothing if not attentive. he didn't always bring home the same stuff — but he kept track of which treats you were craving the most and acted accordingly.
╰┈➤ if you get caught out in the rain, he's the type of guy who will keep his jacket above your head to try and keep you from getting drenched by the rainfall — or at the very least drape it around you, if you're wearing something that becomes see-through when it comes into contact with water. his focus is on your comfort in those moments.
╰┈➤ he finally proposed to you on your three-year anniversary, at the same restaurant where the two of you had your first date. while marriage was something you discussed, he still managed to surprise you with the proposal, and you agreed with tears welling in your eyes and your heart thumping nearly out of your chest. one of the first people you called was his mother, and you made sure to send the colleague that slipped you jun-ho's number a baskets of flowers and baked goods. he left a good portion of the planning to you, as busy as he is with his job, but he always offered his opinion and showed you that he cared immensely when you'd ask him for it.
╰┈➤ a couple of months after you announced your engagement, and with preparations underway — his brother disappeared. this wasn't the first time of course, but it was only the second time he didn't leave a message or let anyone know of his whereabouts. the last time this happened, his pregnant wife passed away, so naturally you, jun-ho and his mother were all worried. a couple of days into his brother's disappearance, your fiancee called to tell you that he was following a lead on his brother's disappearance — something with slip of cardboard with weird symbols and some man his colleagues perceived as crazy. after that, you couldn't get hold of him.
╰┈➤ when he did resurface, a couple of weeks later, he turned up bloodied and with a bullet in his shoulder on some old sea captain's boat. you looked after him then, tending to his wound and making sure that it didn't get infected, redressing it, and helping him with mundane tasks he struggled with now that his shoulder was injured. he was eerily secretive about it at first, and all you knew was the tidbits you managed to get from his coworkers — about some strange island and some sickening freaks making indebted people play children's games and then killing them for sport. you were confused, but you didn't press him until he was ready to talk to you about it.
╰┈➤ in the dark of the night, as he was leaning on the bathroom sink and you were pressing cold ice against the torn and injured flesh left by an unknown man's gun, he started talking to you about it. about following the strange man into a limousine where they doused all the passengers with some sleeping agent, about sneaking onto a ship and strangling one of the workers there, consequently tossing his body into the depths of the vast sea. as he spoke about all the death he witnessed, about the man with one kidney the workers cut up and whose organs they trafficked, about the sickening rich man who attempted to force himself onto him and about escaping the island, only to be tracked down as he attempted to send the proof he'd gathered and was met with horrendous cell signal and a masked man's gun. he didn't tell you about his brother, couldn't condemn him in such a way. that was the only part he kept to himself.
╰┈➤ your habit of staying up together in the night became more frequent than it had ever been. when he did sleep, he was always mumbling something about in-ho and the lines on his forehead and the manner in which he was squeezing his eyes made him look nearly as if he was in pain. you would coax him back from the turmoil he was re-experiencing in his sleep and into reality. neither of you went back to sleep on nights like those, and his grasp on you was so firm as if he was afraid you might disappear if he attempted to loosen it.
╰┈➤ he'd quit his job and went back to handling traffic then, and you understood he needed his time to grieve — a reprieve from death and the most distorted cases that hit the station's desk. you got married soon after, as the realisation that life was far too short to worry about semantics settled in his bones, and the fear of losing him intensified in you after what he'd gone through. you still kept the most important parts of what you'd planned out - the song for your first dance, the place where you wanted to celebrate, the people you wanted in roles of honour. it was a small and private affair, witnessed only by those the two of you felt were most deserving and close. you hoped to hold another celebration once in-ho returned, if he ever did — your husband already knew that he would not.
╰┈➤ once he starts working with gi-hun, he fills you in on what they're doing. he doesn't want you to worry, he couldn't put you through what you experienced back when you didn't know if he was dead or alive. you demand that they let you in, that they allow you to help them look for the man in the black mask. you couldn't stomach the thought of him setting off with you again, to do something so perilous and frightening. he's hesitant at first, and refuses to even consider the idea. upon realising that you don't intend to give up, and that you'll join him for it whether he likes it or not — he relents, but demands you don't put yourself in harm's way.
╰┈➤ on the night of halloween, as you all set out to find whoever is behind the black mask of the games' frontman, you head off with gi-hun. jun-ho worries about letting you go, but he still has faith in his brother not causing you any harm. he doesn't expect you to end up in the limo with gi-hun, as they take him back to the island for another week of twisted, death games.

👉🏼👈🏼 is it ok to request a fic where jack starts trying to take care of the reader the way he sees his dad does? like maybe hotch is away from a case and reader gets sick or sad or idk, so jack takes it upon himself to be there for reader? like maybe he even starts referring reader with the same pet name hotch calls her? tysm!
like dad does
aw 🥹 cw; fem!reader, established relationship, mentions of sickness, fluff <3
you awoke with a gentle start; a trail of cold water trickling down the side of your face, pooling vaguely in your ear.
likewise, a more concrete sensation was set on your forehead - a cold compress. most likely a washcloth, and one that hadn't been wrung out too much at that.
but it was relieving, a delightful contrast from your burning forehead.
"oops," a small mumble came directly from your left ear, as well as a soft exhale of a breath. "sorry."
"jack?" you muttered, rather drowsily. you forced your eyes open, finding jack's sweet, concerned face beside you. "what're you doing?"
"i'm taking care of you." he explained softly, his tone so nonchalant as if it were the most obvious and simplest thing in the world. he reached forward, adjusting the top of the blanket that was draped overtop you. "like dad does. he put the washcloth on you yesterday, you 'member?"
he was right; you were on day two, maybe three? of a nasty bout of the flu. quite honestly you didn't know what day it was, they all blurred together, and your scattered sleep schedule didn't help. you offered him a nod.
"thank you." you gave him a small, closed mouth smile. if it weren't for the germs, you'd reach out to touch his cheek. you sat up a bit from your position in bed, your voice hoarse. "where is your dad?"
"a meeting."
your eyebrows furrowed, the facial movement burning your sinuses. "he's home?"
jack nodded, "he's in his office, but he said it might take a long time. so that's why i'm helping you feel better."
his face brightened a bit, as if a realization struck him. he reached into his pant's pocket, retrieving a few cough drops he had shoved in there, dropping them onto your blanket covered chest.
"i'm sorry i can't make you soup." jack apologized, solemnly as his shoulders dropped. "but i'm not allowed to use the stove."
your face softened, the weak smile resurfacing. "that's okay bud, don't worry. you can help dad make some later when he's done, how 'bout that?"
he nodded enthusiastically, before hoisting himself onto your bed.
"hey no no no, i wouldn't," you protested gently, your heart also melting at his action. "i don't want you getting my germs."
"if i get sick i get sick." that's the same thing aaron had said, multiple times, when he insisted on getting into bed with you earlier. jack scooted somewhat close, staying mainly on his father's side of the bed.
"and if i get sick, i don't need to go to school."
you laughed softly, but finding yourself too weak to argue, you did the only thing you could - go right back to sleep.
it was restless; you were in and out of slumber, and could roughly process jack getting up here and there - solely due to the distant sensation of the washcloth leaving and returning to your forehead, dampened once more.
and once aaron's meeting had ceased, he went in to check on you, and was pleasantly surprised, and touched, to see jack accompanying you.
you were out, with jack diligently watching over, while also keeping himself busy - his sketchbook and colored pencils were scattered amongst the bed.
"how's it going?" aaron asked him from the doorway, the door producing a sharp creak as he pushed it forward a tad.
"good. i brought cough drops, the washcloth, and made sure she got lots of rest. just like you did." jack continued to draw as he spoke, before his head shot right up. "can we make soup?"
"sure buddy," aaron nodded, a tinge of pride pulling at his heart. he tilted his head towards the hallway, and jack immediately scrambled off the bed. "c'mon."

Sneak Peek | Hangman x Reader
Summary: You spent so much time around the boys, they counted you as one of them. You were firmly stuck in the friend zone with Jake, so it was time to move on with a guy who could see past your flight suits. It's not immediately obvious to either of you that cranky Jake is actually jealous Jake.
Warnings: Fluff, language, mentioned smut, 18+
Length: 6000 words
Pairing: Jake "Hangman" Seresin x Female Reader
Happy birthday @beyondthesefourwalls!
Seriously, who let Jake on my masterlist!? Banner by @mak-32

"It's my turn to buy a round," you said, standing up from the table and grabbing the empty beer bottles before turning toward Jimmy and Penny at the bar.
"Thanks, Rodeo," Jake murmured, and you turned back briefly and smiled softly at him. His gaze slid down your body the same way it would with any other woman, the only difference was that he had started to notice just how many other guys were regularly checking you out, too. And he wasn't sure how he felt about that fact.
When you squeezed yourself between two stools at the bar to order four more beers, Bradley asked, "Who are you staring at, Hangman? Rodeo?"
Mickey laughed as Jake quickly shook his head and turned his attention back to his friends. "I just wanted to make sure she can manage carrying everything."
"I'm sure she's fine," Bradley replied with a laugh of his own. "I got a little nervous for a second there."
"Why?" Jake asked, his eyes slowly drifting back to you, watching as you slipped your credit card into the back pocket of your jeans.
"Because first of all," Bradley said as he smashed open a peanut on the table, "Rodeo is practically one of the guys. And second," he added, popping the peanut into his mouth and chewing, "it would be weird if you start looking at her like you do all the other random pieces of ass you take home with you. Even though she is cute."
"She's cute, for sure," Mickey piped in. "But once you've seen a girl throw up in the parking lot after a drunken karaoke night, the appeal kind of wears off."
Jake smiled as you headed back toward the table, because the drunken karaoke night was when he got to drive you home and carry you to your bed while you repeatedly tried to tell him you could walk by yourself.
"Oh, you know who else is cute?" Bradley asked just as you set four new beers on the table. "That redhead with the huge tits at the dartboard."
"Damn," Mickey groaned, and now you were looking in that direction, too. But Jake kept his eyes on you.
"Do we have to talk about this in front of Rodeo?" he asked, sipping his fresh beer and starting to wish Bradley and Mickey would wander off. "In front of a lady?"
Bradley snorted so hard, Jake was surprised his beer didn't shoot out of his nose. "A lady?" he asked as he looked at you and cuffed you on the arm. "Nice try, Hangman, but Rodeo doesn't count."
"Well, you don't count either," you told him, and Bradley tapped the neck of his bottle to yours. "And neither do the two of you." Your gaze met Mickey's before settling on Jake. "You know I don't mind when you guys talk about girls. I get it. You're all hot."
But your knee was rubbing against Jake's thigh at the tiny table, and for a brief flash, he thought maybe he wanted to count in your mind as a guy you could be into.
--------------------------
It was a strange dynamic, working with mostly a bunch of men all the time. They saw you in a flight suit once, and they never looked at you like you were a female ever again. And that was fine. It made your job easier in a lot of ways. There were fewer distractions, and you knew for a fact that they liked you for your personality. They wouldn't invite you to hang out all the time if they didn't.
But on nights like this, it did sting a little bit to watch the three of them tripping over themselves to go talk to the redhead who was clearly eating up the attention. You were essentially wearing the same outfit she was: jeans and a black shirt. And you thought you looked cute. And what exactly was wrong with your boobs? You looked down at your body and kind of shrugged. You didn't get it.
Natasha handed you a pool cue, and you sank a shot. You made up the excuse that you wanted to play so the guys wouldn't feel bad about abandoning you to go talk to girls, but Jake had been hesitant at first, so you shoved him along. That was a mistake, because you were reminded of how solid and muscular he was under his soft shirt.
The first few times you glanced his way, he was already looking back at you. If he were any other guy, you would have just asked him out by now, but you were so firmly in the friend zone with all of them that it was embarrassing. The rejection would be laughable.
So you put your head down and focused on the game and the chit chat around you. But after a while you got curious, and when you looked up again, Bradley and Mickey were walking back toward the table where your empty beer bottle sat. Jake had won. The redhead was running her fingernails through his hair. It was all over for the night.
You weren't jealous. You weren't. You just didn't understand why it couldn't be you. As you sank the eight ball, you said, "I'm beat. I'm going to head home."
"Me too. Want a lift?" Mickey asked, and you nodded, not sparing a single glance back at Jake.
Maybe you were the problem. Maybe you weren't sexy. You spent most of Sunday scrutinizing yourself in your bedroom mirror and going through all of your clothing. There really wasn't much of it since your closet was lined with uniforms and flight suits. And when you looked in the mirror, it wasn't like you could even tell what the problem was. You were just you, but it was starting to feel like you'd been playing around in this male-dominated world for so long, you were just blending in there.
"Fuck it," you muttered reaching for your phone. There was a text from Bradley detailing the pricing for tickets to a Padres game, which you desperately wanted to go to. It sounded fun. Then you realized the beer drinking and peanut eating would simply be moved to a different venue in which the guys would be looking at all the other women around you. Suddenly it didn't sound so fun.
There were also a handful of texts from Jake. He must have kicked his guest out early if he was asking how you were doing this morning. You sent back a short message before finding the app on your screen that had been dormant since you got stationed in San Diego last summer. Tinder. It was right there.
Nervously, you entered your login information, terrified that you'd just end up with a bunch of guys you saw on base as your best options. They would undoubtedly take one look at you and have the same reaction your male friends did. But you spent the rest of the day thinking about it. You looked, but you didn't sample. You found some guys who were surprisingly not in the Navy, but you didn't swipe. And maybe part of the reason you didn't was because Jake kept texting you all day long.
Monday was your tipping point. You were all ready to fly in your boots and flight suit when you ended up surrounded by the guys in the hangar. "We getting Padres tickets, Rodeo?" Bradley asked. "Day drinking at Petco Park?"
You nodded at him. "Sounds fun."
Then Mickey cut in as Jake walked over. "Hey, Hangman. How was our little redheaded friend?" he asked with a smirk, but Jake's expression stayed the same as his eyes met yours.
"Wouldn't know."
"Oof," Bradley said with a goading laugh. "What, you kicked her out without even talking to her afterwards?"
You swallowed and looked down at your boots as you thought about the guys on the dating app. Maybe a little change of scenery wouldn't hurt anything after all.
-----------------------------
"Can you just knock it the fuck off?" Jake snapped. "I didn't even spend the night with her." He watched you put your helmet on as you walked toward your jet. "And I don't like talking about this shit around Rodeo anymore."
"Alright," Bradley replied with a tiny smirk. "No need to get mad about it."
When Jake took to the air, you were all business, as usual. You and he flew well together, like you always did. But back on the ground at lunchtime, you barely spared a glance in his direction in the cafeteria. Instead, you were completely absorbed in something on your phone as you picked at your food.
"What's wrong?" he eventually asked, and you looked up at him like you were surprised he was still there.
"Nothing," you murmured, taking a drink before returning your attention to your phone. "Just working on something."
"On what?" he asked, voice almost as snippy as it had been earlier. He found he didn't like it when your attention wasn't focused on him, which was absolutely infuriating, because it's not like the two of you were anything.
"My Tinder profile," you replied smoothly as you licked your lips, and Jake thought he must have misheard. Since when were you looking for a guy?
"Tinder?"
"Mmhmm," you hummed. "I'm just trying to sort out which photo to use, because I like this one where I'm in my flight suit, but guys don't really tend to go for that sort of thing."
You turned your phone to show him, and Jake swallowed hard. It was a photo he had taken a few months ago. He remembered that day. Your sunglasses were hooked on the top of your suit, and your helmet was tucked under your arm, and your smile was infectious.
"I like that one," he told you softly.
But you just rolled your eyes and groaned. "But you don't count, now do you?"
Jake shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Why are you on Tinder anyway?"
Now you laughed as you set your phone down. "Why do you think?"
He didn't want to think about it, even though he knew why. You were looking to hookup with someone. Or maybe it was even worse. Maybe you were looking for an actual boyfriend. Someone to spend all your time with. You'd be at the Hard Deck after work less frequently. You'd be going to the Padres game with some faceless idiot, and he'd be the one carrying you home after you overdid it at karaoke night. Worse yet, you could have your pick of any guy on that app who caught your eye, but Jake knew for a fact none of them were good enough for you.
"Rodeo," he grunted, unsure how to voice his concerns. You just tapped your screen a few times and then smiled at him as his heart clenched a little bit.
"I went with the photo from Reuben's wedding instead."
Jake ran his fingers through his hair. He didn't even have to ask. He also knew that photo well too. His voice was soft as he said, "Blue dress. Holding a martini. Hand on your hip." He didn't like the idea of a bunch of guys he didn't even know looking at you wearing something so pretty.
"That's the one! And now my bio is live on the app," you said as you tapped your screen one last time. "Wish me luck."
You stood with your tray and Jake told himself he would do no such thing.
---------------------------
"That photo must have done the trick," you mumbled the following day in the rec room on base as Natasha helped you sort through your matches.
"I'm sure it did," she replied in awe. "You look hot in it."
You wanted to believe her, but it didn't even matter right now, because the two of you were staring at a photo of a hot guy who had sent you a message. You gasped. "Is this for real?"
"Looks like it," she replied. "If you don't fuck him, I will. Happily."
"What are the two of you over here whispering about?" You looked up into Jake's smiling eyes and gave him a grin of your own.
"Rodeo is getting all the Tinder hotties," Natasha replied, and suddenly Jake's smile vanished. "Let me know if he sends you a dick pic."
"He better fucking not!" Jake growled as he tried to reach for your phone. "Show me what this asshole looks like so I know who to pound to dust if he sends you one." You rolled your eyes and held up your phone so he could see. "His name is Tony? And he's a dentist?"
"What's wrong with that?" you asked quickly.
Jake crossed his arms over his chest. "If you have to ask, then you don't want to know."
You scoffed and opened your messages. "You're being dramatic. And I don't get on you about who you decide to hook up with."
"So you're just trying to hook up with this asshole?" he asked, his lips curling in disgust.
Honestly, you weren't really sure. But he sounded nice in the messages he sent. "Would it really be so bad if I was?"
Jake scrutinized your face like he was in pain, and you had the craziest thought flash through your mind that perhaps he was jealous. But then the pinched lines on his forehead vanished, and his voice was completely calm as he said, "You do what you want, Rodeo. But don't come crying to me about it later."
"Fine," you told him as he walked away. And that's what spurred you to reply to Tony's message with a more flirtatious one of your own. You were allowed to hook up with him. You were allowed to go out on a date. Maybe you'd even eventually request a dick pic. Jake wasn't in charge of your Tinder profile or dating agenda.
A few short exchanges back and forth was all it took, and suddenly you had plans for Saturday night that didn't involve hanging with the guys at the Hard Deck for once. Tony was going to take you out to dinner, and you were already excited.
----------------------
"Where the hell is Rodeo?" Bradley asked as he returned to the table with three bottles of beer instead of four. "She's usually here by seven."
Jake rubbed his eyes with the heel of his hand. "She's not coming. She's on a date with some smug looking asshole named Tony."
"Good for her," Mickey piped up, earning a glare from Jake. "I hope she gets laid. You wanna grab Javy and play pool?"
With a groan, Jake dragged himself out of his seat and forced his body through the motions. He hit the cue ball with perfect precision, but meanwhile, all he could think about was some other guy's hands all over your body while he shoved his tongue down your throat. "Fuck," he growled, trying to fight the urge to text you. If you wanted him, you knew how to reach him.
Between shots, he glanced around the bar at all the other women, but he couldn't find a single one as pretty as you. He spent the rest of his night barely conversing with his friends while he hoped that your date was a complete flop. And when he left to head home alone, he caved and texted you to make sure you got back to your place safely.
That was over twelve hours ago. Jake still hadn't heard back from you. It was damn near noon on Sunday, and he was left assuming that you spent the night with Tinder Tony. When you finally texted him back, the response made him toss his phone aside.
Sorry, just seeing this now. Yes, I made it home safely. See you tomorrow.
Monday was worse. You were glued to your phone at every opportunity you got, and Jake could tell by the little smile on your face that you must be talking to that asshole.
"Rodeo, how was your hot date?" Bradley asked, bumping your helmet with his while he winked at Jake.
"Pretty good," you replied with a little laugh.
"You get laid?" Mickey asked obnoxiously, and you rolled your eyes before glancing at Jake. He was dying to know the answer to the question, but also terrified to hear it.
"Wouldn't you like to know," you replied, returning your attention to your phone. "Put it this way... I'm going out with him again for dinner on Wednesday."
"Who goes to dinner on a Wednesday?" Jake scoffed. "That's when we usually go to the bar! And what did you and Tinder Tommy even talk about the whole time? Dentures? Teeth?"
"No," you snapped at him. "He told me how pretty he thinks I am, and that he was nervous to meet me in person. And his name is Tony, not Tommy. So don't be rude when we stop by the bar after dinner on Wednesday."
"Can't wait to meet him," Jake grumbled, highly disappointed that your date had been even somewhat successful. And he still wasn't sure if you'd gone home with Tony. Or worse... if he'd gone home with you.
Jake had crashed in your bed with you once a few months ago when you hosted game night. Mickey, Nat and Bradley all passed out in your living room, so you'd taken him by the hand to your bed. Every time he thought about it, he could practically feel the warmth of your body next to his and your foot hooked over his ankle. The idea of someone else there engaging in pillowtalk or fucking you just right was way too much for him to handle, because he was starting to feel like he wanted to be that person.
------------------------
Okay, so Tony was a little boring. A lot boring, actually. And on Wednesday night at dinner, he actually did mention dentures, and you could practically hear Jake scoffing from the Hard Deck. But Tony was hot and nice and he paid for dinner. Could you really hope for more than that?
"So, you mentioned stopping at a Navy bar?" he asked as you walked back to his car. "I keep forgetting you're even in the Navy. It just doesn't seem like you."
Maybe you should have used the other photo for your dating profile since you'd had to remind him twice already that there were a lot of women in the military now. "Yeah. It's called the Hard Deck. I usually hang out there on Wednesdays, and I thought maybe my friends could meet you?"
"Sure," he replied, and he even played boring music on the way there. But when he walked you inside, he kissed your cheek, and that felt kind of nice until Jake was looking. You felt embarrassed and a little guilty when he scowled at you from the pool table, so you eased yourself away from Tony and took him by the hand instead.
"Hey, guys," you said cautiously as you approached the pool table. "This is Tony."
Jake's jaw was clenched tight as he reached out to shake hands with your date in a death grip, and you cringed as he said, "Nice to meet you, Tommy."
And it all went downhill from there. You had to correct him three times, even though you were sure he knew Tony's name. And even the other guys didn't really seem to mesh well with Tony. Bradley looked scandalized when he told them he didn't like beer or playing pool, and Mickey tried to make a dentist joke that just didn't land.
You wanted to crawl into your bed and not come back out for a week. You also kind of wanted to ask Jake what his problem was. Tony was a nice guy. His hand on your back felt nice, and his goodnight kiss at your front door was nice. There was even some tongue, and you didn't stop his roaming fingers. Maybe another date or two and you'd ask him to come in.
"Would you like to get dinner on Saturday night?" he asked as his lips grazed your neck. "At the Boathouse?"
You closed your eyes and leaned back, and the image of Jake took over. His lips were on your earlobe, and he was whispering your name as you led him to your room. His hands were settling on your hips and squeezing gently as you melted into his touch.
"What do you think?" Tony asked, and you were jarred back to reality by his voice.
You swallowed hard and nodded as you opened your door. "Saturday night sounds good," you said as you ducked inside. "See you then."
You couldn't have Jake. You just needed to get it through your head that he didn't want you like that.
------------------------------
Jake knew he was behaving poorly even as he was doing it. Tony looked annoyed by him, and you looked embarrassed, but he just kept calling him the wrong name and standing off to the side like a dick. He was actually the asshole. Not Tony. And he needed to apologize to you at work the next day.
He found you in the hangar, pacing back and forth as you played with the strap on your helmet. When you turned, he started to say, "Hey, Rodeo, I'm really-"
"I need your help," you blurted out when you saw him heading your way. "I need you to come shopping with me tomorrow after work, because I wore my only two dresses already, and everything else in my closet is ridiculous. And Tony is taking me to the Boathouse on Saturday, so I can't just throw something together and call it a day."
Jake ground his back teeth together. The Boathouse was nice. As in, he could think of at least three people he knew who got engaged there. How much money did dentists make anyway? He was full blown jealous now. He knew that. But you'd asked him for help, so of course he was going to do whatever you wanted. Your eager eyes were enough to make him agree on the spot.
"Where are we going shopping?" he asked softly.
You looked so relieved as you said, "The mall. I don't think it will take too long, and I can treat you to dinner as a thank you."
"No," he replied. "You don't owe me anything, Rodeo."
"Thanks, Jake," you whispered as you threw one arm around his neck and pulled him in for a hug. "I know I can trust you to tell me what looks good. Because you're a guy, and you know what guys like. I've been in such a rut, and I don't even know what looks nice on me anymore. But I trust your opinion."
He wrapped his arm around your waist and held you a little closer. If you trusted him, he wouldn't let you down. He never wanted to let you down. He would take you to the mall and tell you which outfits looked nice on you, even though he knew it would be all of them, and he would be cool about you dating Tony. "Sure, Rodeo. Anything you want."
When the time came, he was miserable. You seemed excited, bouncing on your feet in your jeans and sneakers as you collected dresses and cute little outfits to try on, but he knew none of this was really for him. You'd just be giving him a little sneak peak of what Tony would have his hands all over.
"How about this one?" you asked, holding up a red mini dress that made Jake's mouth dry up. Then you moved it in front of your body and looked down. "It's probably too much for me."
He wanted to tell you that you couldn't pull it off, but he knew the fucking thing was made for you. "Try it on and see," he said softly, so you added it to your pile. Then he followed you like a puppy dog to the fitting room, holding half of the dresses for you to try on. When you passed the lingerie section, Jake had to watch you grab a few lacy items. "Have you slept with Tinder Tommy yet?" he snapped when you picked up a black bra and added it to your arms.
You looked up at him with a soft pout. "Well, no. That's why I'm trying to buy some sexy stuff, you know? Just in case I want to take it there."
Jake had seen you in your bathing suit many, many times. You didn't need to be wearing anything made out of lace and silk to look sexy, but the sight of you in half of this shit would probably give Tony a damn heart attack. Then he realized as you led him along that he himself might not make it out of the fitting room alive.
"Just stand out here, okay?" you said softly, guiding him against the wall. He grunted in response and watched you line up everything you wanted to try on inside the fitting room before closing yourself inside. You kicked your shoes off, and then he watched you push your jeans down to your feet through the gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. You stepped out of them, and his imagination started to supply the rest.
You were completely naked now, he was sure of that fact, and you were only a few feet away from him, separated by a flimsy door. His head tipped back against the wall as his breathing grew a little deeper. Your toenails were painted bright green, and you were talking quietly to yourself as you stepped into a black dress and started to guide it up your legs.
"This isn't too bad," you muttered, and a few seconds later you were unlatching the door and pulling it open with an apprehensive look on your face. Jake's jaw dropped open as you stepped right up to him and asked, "What do you think?"
"Rodeo," he grunted, fisting his hands at his sides to keep them from touching you as you spun slowly in front of him. "Looks good."
You frowned a little more. "I was hoping for better than good," you replied, twirling away from him and back into the fitting room.
Jake's body was thrumming with desire as he watched that black fabric pool at your feet under the door. "It was better than good, Rodeo," he said, nearly choking on the words as you stepped to the side and bent to pick it up.
"I'll try the red one," you informed him, and he had to press his lips together, knowing what was coming next. This time it took you a little longer, and he watched your feet under the door as you turned in front of the mirror. "It's really short," you finally said as you opened the door again.
"Jesus Christ," Jake moaned softly. The thing fit you like a damn glove. Every curve and soft dip of your body was right there, begging to be touched. His palms were sweaty as he wiped them on his jeans, and then you spun, ending up just inches away from him again.
He couldn't speak, and maybe you took that as a bad sign. "It's too much," you said with a little laugh. "I know it's too much, but it was fun to try it on anyway. It made me feel sexy," you said with a little shrug, barely able to meet his eyes. "I think the black one might be better for dinner at the Boathouse? Or do you think this one?"
Jake snapped out of his daze and remembered why he was here, suddenly pissed that this little fashion show wasn't just for his own benefit. "Come on, Rodeo. Tinder Tommy? Really? You think he deserves this?" When you just kind of shrugged at him, he said, "Get the red one if you're just looking to get laid."
"Okay," you replied, your little pout back on your pretty lips.
He pushed away from the wall until he was nearly touching you. Practically snarling, he said, "Are you just looking to get laid?"
"Maybe," you said softly, looking at his neck. "He's actually into me, so maybe. I don't know, Jake. It's been a long time since a guy chose me, you know?" He opened his mouth to tell you that any guy in the world would choose you when you said, "I have one more dress."
Then he had to stand there and watch the red fabric hit your feet before you guided the tiniest little green dress up your calves. He was jealous. He was so jealous. And the fact that he'd had a whole fucking year to ask you out instead of fucking wasting his time was crashing down on him right now. You were going to wear one of these dresses to the Boathouse tomorrow, and Tony was going to take it off you. He was going to fuck you, and then someday you'd probably get married. Jake would be at your wedding sitting between Mickey and Bradley and making himself sick over this whole thing.
The door opened. You were stunning. You didn't even leave the fitting room doorway this time in that green dress that was hugging your tits and your waist and showing off so much leg that Jake thought he was going to black out. "I can tell by your face that it's not good," you said with a wince. "It's a little too low cut, so I couldn't imagine wearing it in front of Tony."
His voice came out low and rough as he said, "You're wearing it in front of me just fine."
"But I don't count, remember?" You closed and locked the door, and Jake was immediately leaning against it. Literally each dress was hotter than the one before it, and Jake didn't know how to articulate what he was feeling right now. How on earth did he end up so far in the friend zone that he couldn't claw his way out if he tried? What the fuck made Tinder Tony so special? Why were you looking around on the app anyway? He couldn't even pinpoint when it had happened, but you were never going to take him seriously, even if he knew he could be what you wanted.
The rustling of fabric and the sound of the zipper had him resting his forehead on the door. "Rodeo, Baby, you can't...buy one of these dresses. Not for Tony. Okay? Come on. He's not good enough for you."
"Oh." That was all you said. You just replied with one word, and Jake's blood was boiling. He wanted to dismantle the entire fitting room and take you back home and tell you that you could do a hell of a lot better than some lame ass dentist who didn't like beer or playing pool. But you'd just muttered one word, and he was dying to know if he could ever stand a chance at making you happy.
"Rodeo?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper. You unlocked the door and he stepped back a few inches so you could open it, expecting to see you in your jeans once again with the dress of your choosing in your hands. "Oh, fuck," he groaned, his heart hammering in his chest. "Absolutely not!"
Jake pushed you back further into the fitting room and managed to wrench his broad shoulders through the doorway before kicking the door closed. You were biting your lip, your eyes wide as his hands came to rest on your lace covered hips.
"Jake," you whispered as he shook his head at the sight of you in a lacy black bra and tiny underwear.
"What the hell are you thinking?" he groaned, fingers digging gently into your warm body as he listened to the little sound you made. "You're killing me here." Your hands came up to his wrists before you slid them up along his arms, and Jake took a step closer until his jeans were brushing against your bare belly. He would need to be removed from the mall in a body bag at this rate.
Then you whispered, "I like you. And maybe there's a chance that you like me, too? And maybe that's part of the reason I asked you to come here with me."
Jake swallowed hard as he leaned in, dizzy from the way you smelled so sweet and felt so perfect in his hands. "Dump him. Dump Tony." You whimpered at his words as he slid one hand down further, teasing the lace covering your ass at the same time his other hand went up to tug at the side of the bra. "Because this? This should be for me."
"Jake." Your voice was a needy whine as you scraped your fingernails along his shoulders and chest, trying to pull him closer. But he shook his head as he pushed you back harder against the wall, lips hovering over yours as you whispered his name.
He knew what he wanted. He'd known for a while, really, but now he was ready to take it. "I want to kiss you. But if I do, I'm not going to be able to go back, okay?" he asked, his voice a deep rumble as you wrapped your arms around his neck. "I won't go back to being Rodeo and Hangman, just friends. I will not do that. Not with you. Not when you count more than anyone else."
Your lips crashed against his, and Jake sighed in relief as he held you in his arms the way he'd been dying to for so long. The lingerie and all the little dresses were only for him. Your kisses and your smile and your fingers in his hair were for him, not Tony. He ran his hands down to your ass as you giggled and nipped at his lips.
"Pick a dress, Baby," he muttered between kisses. "And we'll get the lingerie, too."
"Okay," you replied with a smile before you took his bottom lip between yours, making him moan.
"Tomorrow night, I will take you out, and you can show me this little getup again if you want to."
You looked up at him with the prettiest smile he'd ever seen. "I want to."
---------------------------
You nudged Bradley with your elbow. "Hey, she's cute," you said, nodding toward the brunette across the aisle. "You guys should go talk to her." He and Mickey both leaned forward to look without any subtlety whatsoever, and you laughed.
"Maybe at the end of the inning," Bradley replied, manspreading so much in his seat at the Padres game that he kept bumping your leg and nudging your shoulder. But he was grinning, and you could already tell that he and Mickey were about to turn it into a competition to see who could get her phone number first.
But there was one key player missing from their game now, and you smiled as you saw Jake apologetically climbing over everyone else in your row before plopping down into the seat next to you and kissing your cheek with a smile. "The line was long as hell for your favorite beer," he said as he handed it to you. "Did I miss anything?"
You shook your head as Bradley said, "You're just in time to watch the real show, Hangman. Rodeo, I want you to time how long it takes before I get her number."
But you weren't really listening as Bradley and Mickey started to argue, and neither was Jake as he kissed your cheek again. You didn't feel like you were simply blending in, and you didn't feel like you were just one of the guys anymore. You were grinning and sipping your beer as Jake's lips met your ear and he asked, "Are you wearing that black set right now?"
"I'll let you find out later.

⊹ giving them flowers
Tumblr media Tumblr media
premise. no plot we are just giving them flowers cause guys deserve some too <3
content. fluff, mini scenarios, azul turns into a silly nerd (affectionate)
featuring. jamil, sebek, riddle, azul.
note. actually accidentally posted this yesterday and got a heart attack (also an actual consistent posting schedule...?)
Tumblr media
jamil gives you a look.
he spares a long stare at the bouquet you clutch between your hands, wearing an awfully cheeky grin that's chipping off the scold in his throat. "how many times have I told you this?" he deadpans.
but from the obvious fact that you're holding it. it's not like jamil can do anything about it.
"you don't buy flowers for yourself," he says firmly. I'm supposed to be the one getting them for you. he would like to add.
"they're a waste of madol?" you tilt your head.
he answers immediately. "no, just—" jamil's eye twitches like he's trying his hardest to keep something. "don't,"
perhaps he's being a little too blunt but it makes him upset. is he really messing up in gift giving to the extent where you have to buy something for.. yourself? and jamil is pretty sure gifts are called as such for a reason.
and that they're from, or gifted to another person.
you chuckle in your fist, but he continues to ramble; "also it's hard to care for flowers when you don't know much, i don't want you to—"
"jamil hon, my baby, the apple of my eye, the love of my life, they're for you,"
you say simply, and watch in amusement when his moments stutter before they stop to a complete freeze.
a furious wave of heat crawls up on his back but he's praying frantically. now is not the time. he seethes.
... he just tripped over his words.
jamil reluctantly accepts the flowers after you've finished laughing your ass off, and the only thing in his mind is the love.
okay maybe he should pick up a book about caring for flowers. do they even survive in the harsh conditions of scarabia?
whatever he'll make it work.
Tumblr media
you should've expected this.
despite your arm honestly starting to tremble under the stress of holding it out for about 2 minutes straight now, you still attempt a smile—although strained. wouldn't want sebek to find it an unfriendly gesture.
even though he probably already thinks that anyways.
you don't want to color sebek in a way that shows that his only personality is being suspicious to everyone, and of course. the dearest young master he adores. (seriously though it's a little concerning, and you're kinda jealous.)
sebek stares at the bouquet in your hand with scrutinizing eyes, as if to say non-verbally: 'what is this'.
you sigh when he just stares at it like it's a bomb. "it's flowers." you deadpan.
sebek pursues his lips, looks away before looking back. "I can see that!" he says like he wasn't wearing a face that made you think you had to explain. but he just crosses his arms and falls silent with a huff. "for the young master, yes?'
he pauses. "I can atleast acknowledge your gesture, human!"
was that supposed to be good? you weren't given the chance to explain because he continues again; "though I will have to make sure that these aren't anything the young master is allergic to." he nods to himself, as though proud for being so thoughtful.
your eye twitches. you're a little surprised that he didn't even imply that it could be possibly a bomb inside to try and assassinate them.. but you notice a slight tense-ness to his demeanor.
you know cause he's huffed about 5 times in the past 1 minute, he's looked away and he's very clearly sneaking peaks at your hand.
—then he huffs to himself! then it repeats.
"I will take them to the young master at once!" he announces with his loud volume, stepping forward to grab it from you but you ultimately beat him. you're just praying he doesn't find you 10x more suspicious the moment you had wrenched it back to yourself with surprising strength you didn't know you had.
even he looked surprised!
"no, sebek.." you heave. "they're not for malleus, they're for you."
he didn't have the heart to correct the way you addressed the young master before he dutifully exploded.
he's shaking away from you with a wobbling, agape mouth. he could only open and close them dumbly, not beir capable to let a word out.
you suppose he was too speechless because he didn't even say anything when you happily pushed the bouquet to his chest like nothing happened.
Tumblr media
for someone who's most diligent in studying, you'd think riddle would be able to catch on easily on the gist of your actions.
but he just blinks when you hold out your hand. pretty gray eyes trained on the bouquet of red roses in your grasp, then onto your face with inquisitive question apparent with the raise of his brow.
"we have plenty of roses in our gardens." he says, as though like giving him... these is the most bizarre phenomenon in his life.
it seems like he feels the need to add. "we grow them."
you smile, the sweet thing awfully tight on your face. "they're for you," you explain. a little perturbed that you need to in the first place, but it's riddle so you sorta understand?
riddle squints. "why?"
you blank. "like... like a gift, for you? you know. cause I want to."
then as if the slowness of the processing going on in his brain gradually speeds up. it's obvious he's probably realized the implications of your little gift from the jolt, then widened eyes who stare in disbelief.
riddle gulps. "for, me?" he asks stupidly.
your raised brows say yes.
it's almost hilarious when he accepts them gratefully and stares at them like you just sprouted a literal white rose from the ground, wrapped it in some fancy plastic, and then handed it to him with a smile.
silence ensues again. riddle notices, screeches in his head to do something about it except he can't, cause his mind seems to be broken right now and he can't exert any words but a stammer.
and he'd really like to relearn how to speak because you're fidgeting on the spot, clearly nervous by his silence.
"sorry," you chuckle. "um.. it's just red roses, not white, or blue, or pink—"
"no!" he blurts out far too quickly. hands stretched out in the air a little as though reaching out to stop you but then stiffly staying by his side. riddle clears his throat. "I mean... this is... very important to me."
you look like you don't really believe him cause he was going off about roses in his dorm before.
he flushes, away from your gaze. "because its from you."
Tumblr media
you can barely see azul.
or gauge out his reaction if it's supposed to be good or bad, because you can barely even see his eyes from all the sudden sheen of white over it. did all the smoke in the room just gravitate over his glasses conveniently or something?
you can spot the joints in his fingers twitching but oddly enough he remains stiff in front of you. uncharacteristically silent, which wouldn't really lead to good things.
"hello?" with your free hand, devoid of any flowers with the power of freezing a person. you wave it in front of his face which seems to have done a pretty good job with snapping him out of whatever trance he's in.
the glasses slip down the bridge of his nose but he fixes them at record speed. admittedly with clammy fingers.
azul coughs. "thank you very much." he clutches them tighter, pursuing his lips.
"I know octavinelle is not the best place for warmer places," he starts and a flash of confusion on your face is something he misses. "but I will manage it and find an accommodation for these, around 34 or 35 degrees."
your brows furrow. what.
"hmm yes... a nice vase, I'll use the most pure water there is." he rants. "then I'll fill it up with two thirds of its container and make sure it lives healthy."
that's... concerning.
"I'll have jade clean it regularly." he says and you're honestly more scared for the flowers. "I cannot trust floyd either so I'll trim it by two centimeters at the right angle occasionally when it dries."
he says all that, with a pink face.
you awkwardly stand there taking in azuls apparent plans on how to ensure the lifespan of your 'thoughtful' gift will be extended as far as he can help in to commerce your honor.

simon riley, your best friend’s dad…
♡ p!link ♡
warnings: smut, bsfdad!simon x reader, size kink if you read into it, age gaps, not considered very ethical to fuck your bsf's dad but... :b
He was so hot. Every time you came round your best friend's house, because her dad was so accompanying, you could never take your eyes off him. You'd often go home and touch yourself to the little interactions you'd had with him the previous day, which were all innocent of course. He was just so much bigger than you, so strong, and he was extremely good looking for a guy his age. A small part of you was self conscious of the fact it was deemed morally wrong to think of him that way, you felt like it was a crime against your best friend. Although.. it wasn't like anything was going to actually happen, right?
Another Saturday night rolled around and you arrived at their house, not bothering to knock before you went inside because they were used to you coming over so much; you even knew where the spare key was.
It got quite late fast, and after a long girly talk of boys, updating each other on love lives and doing face masks whilst eating a takeaway, you got changed into your pyjamas. You both slept in her room, usually watching shitty, low-budget romcoms before drifting off into a drowsy sleep, but tonight you were restless. You decided to wait until she was asleep, and got out of bed, careful not to make too much noise.
Going downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of water, you made the awful mistake of accidentally bumping into her dad. Simon. The sheer size of him made it almost impossible for you to not lose your balance, and he grabbed your shoulders so that you wouldn't fall over.
"Are you ok? Sorry, I didn't see you" he said calmly, checking you were alright.
You blushed a little, and nodded without saying anything. If it wasn't obvious that you had a thing for him before, it definitely was now. He was bound to notice soon anyways, your night clothes becoming slightly more revealing each week.
Simon glanced down, noticing how much of your cleavage was on display, for him. He kept his hands on your shoulders, one hand toying with the light pink elastic strap of your pyjama top.
"You don't have anything else to wear?" he asked, in what you thought was a judgemental tone.
"I- No I do, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.. like.." you rambled and trailed off, flushed with embarrassment.
"M'not complaining, love, don't worry your pretty head" he said reassuringly, before moving behind you and gently leading you into his room to the ensuite bathroom, lower hand grazing your back lightly.
"What are you-" you began, turning but only to be met with a view of his chest.
"You want this, yeah? I'm not stupid, I can tell when a pretty thing like you wants something."
You hesitated, before giving a small, unsure nod.
"Gonna need more than that, sweeth'art."
"Yes. Please."
"Good girl." he praised, before locking the door and stripping you down completely naked for him, making you turn and admiring your body.
"So pretty. Wanted this for so long, haven't you?"
You were still shy, and stood not really knowing what to do with your hands.. hell, with your entire body.
He took you carefully and got you down on your knees, before pulling his already leaking cock from his boxers. It was big, too big. It would never fit. He could immediately see the panic in your eyes, and tried to calm you down.
"S'alright, baby. I'll go gentle on you, I promise. You tell me if it hurts too much, or you get uncomfortable, okay?"
You nod, swallowing a little anxiously.
The next thing you know, you were swallowing his cock, as he guided your head down carefully. His hands caressed your hair, in an almost soothing way, so as to make you feel safe with him. You were definitely not as anxious anymore. Just took a little praise and soft guidance from Simon.
He pulled you back before he came, making you sit on his thighs before plunging into your already soaking core, stretching you out in ways you never imagined you could be. It was hard to take at first, but it quickly became pleasurable, him using you like a little toy. Thrusting you up and down on his large cock, hands grabbing at your waist and squeezing you as he hit your g-spot over and over again.
"God you feel amazing." he groaned, thrusting fastening at the sound of your preciously soft moans. He adored how little and delicate you were, so pliable in his hands.
It was safe to say that the next day, his looks and subtle lingering touches were no longer innocent. You were his pretty little secret, and unless you no longer wanted him, it would stay that way.

My Darling.
Klaus knew something was off with Lucien.
The timing of his arrival alone was suspicious and now a prophecy? Everything was...strange and calculated but Klaus knew how to play.
When he stepped foot into his old friend's apartment, he could feel her presence. He knew someone else was there but he certainly wasn't expecting Lucien to start clicking his fingers and a girl to literally come running.
Lucien had a smug grin on his face when she immediately kneeled in front of him and held out her wrists on his lap. Klaus felt his jaw clench at the thick smell of fear rolling off her.
"This is Klaus, Klaus meet Y/N. She's my...what do we call you, love? Hm?" Lucien was taunting her and her humiliation was obvious.
"A pet, sir." She whispered and flinched when his hand roughly patted her head.
"That's right. Now come here and sit on my dear friend's lap. Give him a drink." He ordered and she quickly nodded.
Klaus felt his eyes go wide when she immediately straddled his lap, sitting right on top of his crotch and holding out her arm. Lucien laughed and shook his head.
"Your neck." He corrected and Klaus felt her tense before moving her hair to the side and shifting to press the side of her throat to his mouth.
Now Klaus could have refused but the way Lucien was staring at him, waiting him to drink, daring him. It made him comply and sink his teeth in. Her blood was a beautiful consistency and an addictive taste as he swallowed down a series of mouth falls. After a moment he found that he had closed his eyes at some point and so reopened them when pulling away. A surprised grunt left him when he felt her hips move, he looked down to see her dry humping his growing erection and his grip on her hips went tight, trying to stop her.
"She's excellent, go on love give him a blow job." He commanded and she started to undo his belt but Klaus grabbed her hands.
"That's...not necessary." He cleared his throat and Lucien raised a brow before shooting her a glare.
"You heard him, get off." He told her and she quickly got off Klaus and onto Lucien, hugging his midsection tight.
"I'm sorry." She whimpered, tone pleading. Lucien rolled his eyes and turned back to Klaus, ignoring the petrified girl on his lap.
They got back to the prophecy, though Klaus's attention kept drifting back to Y/N. Poor little thing looked adorable and yet he couldn't think about how cute she was when she was literally shaking and apologising religiously under her breath.
"Is she compelled?" He asked, curious and completely blanking everything Lucien had just said.
"No." Lucien stated simply and sighed, getting annoyed with her clinginess. "She isn't compelled, she just knows her worth." He spat, shoving her back to the floor and having her kneel back down on the carpet, being a quiet as possible to he wouldn't get angry.
Klaus swallowed thickly. Silently he nodded so that he wouldn't say anything out of line that would cause things to escalate. Instead he got things back on track and pulled the attention away from her.
When he left, he felt a little concerned for what would happen to her once she was alone with Lucien.
The hybrid didn't have the opportunity to go over often, only occasionally but on those occasions he would watch her. He fed from her each time but never let it go as far as Lucien tried to push her.
On the dreaded day that Klaus was held hostage on Lucien's apartment, Y/N was beyond skittish. It was clear that Aurora didn't like her. She despised the human even more when she noticed Klaus's gaze linger a second too long when the girl had come scrambling in with the vervain Aurora had demanded.
The second Klaus looked back at Aurora, he knew he'd made a mistake. the redhead and Y/N by the hair, dragging her to Klaus and holding her up, too high for her toes to touch the ground. Cries bled from her mouth but Klaus kept silent and just glared, knowing that should he speak, it would only make it worse.
Klaus had been quick to get out of those chains and out of that home, too quick to save the poor girl who lay bloody and bruised on the tiles of the kitchen floor.
However he did not forget about her.
As soon as Lucien was dead and the others were rid of, he went back for her. It took a couple witches to get inside but once he did, he tried calling out for her.
"Y/N?" he yelled but in a gentle sort of tone so it didn't scare her. "It's Klaus- are you...oh" His words died down when he opened a door.
She was in the bathtub, no water but she was lead in a puddle of her own blood. Her neck had a fat chunk missing and she was bleeding rapidly, her skin had dulled and her heart was slow.
Urgently, Klaus moved to get her up and out.
"I'm sorry." She uttered when she felt someone pick her up.
Klaus frowned to himself and laid her down on the couch. He pushed her hair aside, grimacing a little when it pulled away from the dry blood attached to her skin.
"I need you to drink from my wrist." He told her and she wasn't in any position to disagree so when the metallic taste pressed to her lips, she took it down with ease. "Good girl." Klaus whispered, nodding to himself and her as he made sure that her wounds healed.
Once she stopped drinking he cupped her sweet face.
"How long have you been in there?" He asked and she sniffled.
"Lucien...he was angry and I- I didn't do good." She whimpered and he frowned.
"He bit you? Love, its been three days since I killed him-" He told her but noticed her flinch and he tilted his head. "Love-" He tried but she let out a frightened cry. Klaus took a pause and realisation settled over him. Lucien had called her 'love'.
"It's alright." He whispered, carefully shifting to pick her up. "I'm going to bring you to my home, get you something you like to wear...something to eat? I bet the bastard didn't even feed you." He mumbled, frowning and stroking her hair. Y/N didn't utter a word, just let him take her away.
Y/N was still a little afraid but no where near as afraid as she was of Lucien so she ignored the pit in her stomach. Klaus took her home and sat her down by the fireplace. "There you go...sweetheart." He whispered, hesitating on the nickname and watching for a negative response. She shifted uncomfortably and he made a mental note. Klaus had forgotten that Lucien had tried so hard to be just like him, same accent, same vocabulary, same style, same tactics. It pissed him off to no end but now it was actually hurting someone.
Klaus sighed to himself and scratched the back of his neck. "I'll be back." He murmured, flashing off before returning with a chocolate twist from the nearby bakery. "I bet you like chocolate don't you, darling?" He offered, watching with a smile when she nodded and slowly accepted the food.
Later she took a shower and picked some clothes from Hayley and Rebekah's wardrobes. Both girls were happy to help her, girls had to stick together and it was obvious that nobody had been there for her for far too long.
They both knew she had been through it. They hadn't been told specifics but it was clear from her demeanour, she was scared, she felt indebted. Both girls had to try and show her that she wasn't a pet and there weren't expectations however the nest day, their clothes had been washed, dried and folded for them. Klaus had woken to a hand on his pants, his eyes had flown open to see her sad eyes on his waistband whilst her soft little hands pulled it down.
"Y/N!" He gasped and she flinched, almost falling off the bed but he managed to catch her. "Bloody hell" He mumbled, gently putting her down and loosening grip so he couldn't hurt her. "What were you doing, darling?" He asked and she looked at him confused.
"Waking you up..." She answered like it was expected behaviour. "You own me now-"
"No..." He breathed, his frown deepening when she said those words. "Darling, you're not a pet. You're a girl, you do what you want to do not what I want. You say no to me okay? You can always tell me and anyone here if you do or don't like something. You don't like beans? You tell me 'Klaus I don't like them' okay?" He told her, his voice both firm but calm to get his message across.
Y/n just stared at him. She felt like it was a trick or a test. Lucien had done it once, told her she should go outside to get some air only to chain her to the corner of the room and yell at her for trying to leave him.
Klaus could see she wasn't buying it, he wasn't sure what to do.
"Are you..." He stopped with a sigh, "Lets just move one day at a time." He whispered, "You'll feel better soon and you'll see that you don't ever have to do things...especially that."
Y/N put her hands into her lap and pinched her skin to hurt herself. She felt like she had disappointed him, even if he was adamant that she hadn't.
Things were hard for the first couple weeks. Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelson's had to try persuade her she wasn't in any way obligated to them and that she was allowed to do as she pleased.
Slowly she became comfortable in their home, around each of them and spoke a little more. However she still wouldn't go outside unless Klaus was there, he needed to hold her hand and make sure nobody would take her away.
Klaus had worked hard to have her feel safe. Even with Lucien dead, nightmares haunted her that he would take her back and punish her for leaving him. Too many nights had been filled with her screaming for help until Klaus would take her to his room and convince her that he would keep those dreams away. To be fair to him, he made sure to keep her mind at peace each night. Nothing scary could ever catch her again.
But then Klaus found himself watching a scene in her head, it was him and her curled up on the couch, just snuggling and watching TV like a normal couple. Klaus watched with interest when their dream versions kissed passionately.
The next morning he woke with her laid out across him. Fast asleep and looking adorable as usual. He smiled to himself and rubbed her back gently. After a while she woke up and he kept her all fuzzy and warm until she wanted to get out of bed.
That was how most mornings were, then the day would all depend on enemies and alliances. Sometimes Y/N was left all alone in the mansion, allowing her to read and discover every hidden room within. As many days as possible, someone would be home with her and they'd do something fun. Rebekah had been showing Y/N how to sew, Elijah was offering to teach her literature and history and Hayley would have them both dressed up playing with Hope. None of them knew how long she had been victim to Lucien but they dreaded that it had been far too long. Her education was minimal, all she seemed to know how to do was wash their clothes and clean up after them like a little maid.
Each time they spoke to her and told her she didn't need to do that, she would get upset and feel useless. All she had ever been wanted for was to serve Lucien and now she didn't have a purpose. She was beyond happy that she wasn't subjected to his treatment but she wasn't sure what she was ever supposed to do now that she was given everything. Luxuries weren't something she had ever heavily desired, a simple life is what she wanted but she was too traumatised of the outside world to live in it anymore.
Klaus had taken her to a experience a jazz festival to try show her the beauty in the world but the amount of people, the smell of alcohol, the noise. Everything attacked her at once and she ended up in tears, Klaus shielding her in an empty street that he had sped them too. He felt awful, he tried to calm her down and to soothe her but it wasn't working. Only once they got home and he was all she could feel, hear and smell was she able to calm down.
Klaus held her for hours, he was prepared to never let her go with how tightly she clung to him.
Helping her gain confidence was the most difficult thing after everything. Going from worthless to priceless was very literally life changing. Klaus feared that she may never understand how perfect she was, how much she deserved.
The Mikaelson's had all had their issues with identity and self value in the past so they all tried to help her understand hers. Rebekah especially was able to show Y/N just how beautiful she really was.
Once she became more comfortable with herself as well as others, everything was more natural. Her healing process was long but worth it.
______________________________________________________________
Klaus smiled as he looked out the window, Y/N was running around the garden with Hope, laughing and squealing. They played for hours in the sunshine until dinner time rolled around and Hayley and Elijah had dinner set out for everyone.
Klaus had Hope sat in his lap whilst holding onto Y/N's thigh subconsciously under the table. Once everyone finished eating, Hope went up for her bath and Klaus's attention was on Y/N.
He wrapped his arm round her waist and pulled her to him, kissing the top of her head with a soft hum. He tried to pull her away from the sink but she giggled and whined.
"Hayley and Elijah cooked. It's our turn to clean." She reminded and he smiled, nuzzling her hair.
"Why don't Rebekah and Marcel ever clean hm?" He pressed and she shrugged whilst grabbing a dirty dish which he immediately took away from her. "I don't want you to ever have to clean." He whispered, hugging her tight.
"I don't mind cleaning when it's on rotation. This way it's all fair, now helppp. We cook tomorrow." She reminded and he rolled his eyes playfully.
"Mmm, I love when you refer to us like we're one. I'll do the dishes darling. You can get ready for bed?"
"You don't need to do that-"
"I want to darling, now off you go." He smiled and ruffled her hair with a chuckle when her hands tried to flatten it back down. She begrudgingly went upstairs and let him finish washing up before he returned and got changed before snuggling up around her.
She curled right into him savouring his warmth and breathing his scent. "I'm really glad I met you." She murmured to him and he smiled.
"I'm beyond glad to have met you too my darling." He purred, kissing her cheek. She blushed against his lips and rubbed her face into him much like a needy cat. "You're so perfect." He whispered, smelling her hair.
"I love you, Klaus." She uttered her eyes shining with vulnerability and slight fear but he quickly diminished it.
"I love you much more Y/N." He internally promised to never let her hurt, long, need again. Klaus smiled when he saw her go red in the face, he peppered her face in little kisses.
Y/N's breath got caught in her throat when he pecked her lips, it was a short but sweet kiss. He pulled back to gauge her reaction, check he hadn't overstepped but it was clear he hadn't. Her pupils were blown and her body was relaxed. She trusted him and she wanted him.
Klaus smiled, a genuine smile before stroking her hair down flat. His head lowered again to kiss her lips once more, lingering a couple seconds extra. He then turned back around and dipped his hands in the soapy water and got to the dishes.
Leaving a bashful Y/N to head on upstairs to the room they had been sharing.
When he got back up there, she was already in bed. Pyjamas fresh and already warmed to her skin as she peeked up at him from the duvet.
His lips upturned instantly, "You look beautiful, my darling." He told her, heading over to kiss her cheek sweetly before grabbing some plaid pants and a t-shirt and disappearing into the bathroom.
Since having Y/N stay with him, Klaus had been wearing full pyjama sets to keep her comfortable. Honestly, he didn't mind. It was comfortable and kept him feeling fresh and ensured him that Y/N felt safe in his bed.
He could certainly tell the difference between the first time she stayed with him and this time. Now when he came back into the room she was all smiles and giggles, waiting for him and wanting him there.
Klaus climbed into bed, pulling the covers round him and sliding her to his side. His lips attacked the side of her pretty face before he reached over and switched on the soft little night light that she needed for comfort and then turned off the bigger lamp so only a gentle glow illuminated the room slightly.
Y/N snuggled up to his body, he could still feel her smooth skin through their clothes. He loved how perfect she was, it was incredible that she could still be so perfect after everything she'd been through. He would aways love her, everything about her.
That was all he could think about as he watched her little fingers toy with his. Klaus always touched her so gentle, so careful. That night was no different and Y/N knew that; she trusted him.
He wasn't Lucien.
"You're not him." She uttered, voice so quiet and faint against his ear when he lay between her legs. His heart ache for her.
"I'm not him." He assured, his hand gently petting her head as his hips rocked lovingly against hers. "I'll never be him." He whispered; promised.
Y/N's walls squeezed him so good, showed him she felt good too. Klaus made sure to glance down at her delicate features, checking for those signs of pleasure. His hips would buck up, filling her deeply so she would cry his name blissfully.
"That feels nice, doesn't it darling?" He whispered against her ear with a little kiss to the shell. Her head nodded, eyes glassy as she looked up at his. Klaus could internally feel her soul reaching for his, needing him. "Can you tell me it feels nice, sweet Y/N?" He asked her gently and she gasped for the air to talk.
"Feels really nice, Klaus, promise!" She whined, body tightening again making him nuzzle to the crook of her neck. His nostrils flared, breathing in her scent like a drug as he pushed his hips forward to bury deep inside her when he came; filling her gently like she ought be treated. Her cry of pleasure brought him such joy and a sense of peace that he was able to bring her to her peak, make her content like she had always needed. Feeling her soft body contacting lightly around him as she whimpered and trembled beneath him made his heart swell. His fingers stroked her hair slowly, soothing her body back down from its high.
"You know that I love you. I knew I'd love you, care for you like this since the first time I held you in my arms." He whispered to her, sincerity shining.
Y/N smiled up at him, glowing skin and messy hair but still as beautiful as ever.
By morning they were dressed again, legs tangled and bodies snuggled.
Mornings soon became Klaus's favourite time of the day, having her warmth against his. The knowing she's safe and secure and at peace. Often he'd let her curl up with the covers over them whilst his head buried between her thighs and she bit down on the quilt to hide her sounds from the sun. Then he'd take them back downstairs for something to eat before the day truly began.
It was a long road to get to the safe place they were in now but nothing had been more worth it.

this is the second part of my exrry in italy oneshot! you can read that here
Three days had passed and Harry hadn't left your tiny apartment.
He kept saying he should probably leave, and you insisted there were things you had to do, but neither of you actually made it past the threshold of your door. No one said goodbye, or even bothered to shrug back into clothes. For three days, you ate, drank, and slept with Harry.
"You're making it hard to leave," he murmured, his voice low and content as you placed tiny kisses on his neck, his collarbone, his jaw, anywhere you could reach, really. It was how you used to wake Harry up when you were together, and when morning number four rolled around, you couldn't help yourself but lean across the bed and kiss his soft, sun kissed skin.
At first, you kept up the pretense of being unattached, of sleeping with Harry merely because you knew each other well enough physically. "This doesn't mean we're back together," you'd both whisper, or something to that effect, before blurring the lines of your non relationship once more.
"You're not making it any easier to kick you to the curb," you mumbled, one hand reaching up to caress his stubbly cheek. The fine, short hair that seemed to grow in the last few days.
Harry smelled good, like he usually did with a mix of the soap in your shower. It messed with your head in a way that was dangerous, but you couldn't bring yourself to care.
So he didn't leave (again), and you didn't tell him to go(again). You and Harry stayed in bed for most of the day, only bothering to get up when hunger was too apparent to ignore. You managed to whip something up from the meager groceries you had, not having gone to the market recently, and sat with Harry at the little dining table by the kitchen. The balcony would've been a much nicer spot, as it looked out over the neighborhood square you stayed in, but it was too public, too many keen eyes would've spotted Harry immediately.
"Part of me wishes I hadn't seen you at all," Harry confessed later in the day. You were back in bed after a brief stint in the kitchen where you tried to make pancakes, which promptly turned into kissing and licking pancake batter off Harry as he did the same to you on the kitchen counter, pancakes no longer a priority.
You knew he hadn't meant it to hurt you, but the words sent a pang through your chest, so different from the heat and fireworks and butterflies you usually got from him. Everything was so different now. It was hard to face how much had changed, especially now that Harry was in bed beside you. "I know."
"It's easier to pretend when I can't see you," he said softly, his hand never once stopping as it tracked through your hair, nor did your hand stop tracing patterns in his chest.
"Pretend?"
Harry blew out a large sigh before sitting up in your bed, his arms stretching high above his head. There were hickeys littered all over his body, one on his hip revealing itself as the bedsheet fell and settled just below his waist. You found yourself transfixed by your ex's body, the one you still loved so much the idea of him leaving made your heart hurt.
"Do you still love me?" Harry asked out of the blue.
The question shocked you, but only because you thought the last three days would've made it obvious. You certainly didn't have to ask him how he felt. "Yes."
"That makes it easier too. In a selfish way, I guess," he said, not once meeting your eye. "Knowing you're in as much pain as I am."
Unexpected tears welled in your eyes. You never wanted to hurt Harry. He'd been right to say it was easier to imagine him happy and healthy post break up if you didn't see or hear from him. It was easier to move on if you convinced yourselves that you were better off without each other.
"Harry—"
"I miss you, Y/n," he said, his voice trembling slightly. Harry wouldn't meet your eye, which made all of this so much worse. "I know why we broke up, and I've done everything short of sleeping with someone else to try and move on, but I just—Tell me you're struggling as much as I am. Tell me you don't sleep as well as you used to because I'm not there. Or don't. Tell me this has all just been sex to you so I know there's an end to this—this—"
"Misery?" you finished for him. "I wish I could. I don't know if I'll ever be the same again, honestly."
"Then why—"
"Don't ask why. Please. Not when you know the answer."
It wasn't like you and Harry woke up one day and stopped loving each other. Everything about your relationship had been nothing short of perfect from the very beginning.
Until it wasn't.
"No one has to know this time," Harry said. His tone had taken on a desperate edge, almost making you turn away from him so you wouldn't have to face it, do this all over again. "We can—We can keep this a secret. It'll be just us."
It will never be just us, you thought miserably. "People already know, H."
At the look of confusion on his face, you reached for your phone. You showed him the slew of articles that had already been written. Pictures of you and Harry walking through Rome together three days ago, each one picking you apart or depicting you as the villain in Harry's life.
"I know that's why you're still here. You're waiting for the storm to blow over," you said, unable to meet his eye.
"That's not—After everything I just said, you really think that's why I stayed?" he asked. You'd turned away from him, but you felt his hand on your shoulder, the kiss to your temple as he leaned in close.
"I wish I was the kind of person who didn't care what anyone thought, that I could simply exist in this relationship and not let anyone else in, but—but I'm not. I can't."
"You. Are. Enough," Harry murmured, pressing each word into your skin with a kiss. You closed your eyes, tears leaking from the corners as he curled himself around your body. One leg slid between yours, and you selfishly pulled him closer as he continued to murmur in your ear.
You fell asleep in your ex's arms, the weight of his body on yours more comforting than any blanket. When you woke up, Harry was there, but he wasn't wrapped around you anymore. He sat at the edge of your bed, wearing clothes for the first time since he'd set foot in your apartment.
"You're leaving?" you asked, voice scratchy with sleep.
"I'm supposed to go to Florence tomorrow," Harry said, bent over as he tied his shoes. "I've got a dozen messages on my phone asking where I am."
Something in Harry's voice sounded different, distant, just the way he sounded when you initially ran into him. It pulled at something in your heart, something that you'd been keeping at bay since you invited Harry into your apartment—the knowledge that this would eventually end.
"So you're—You were just going to leave? Without saying anything?"
You heard Harry sigh as he rested his head in his hands. "I thought it would be easier. Our last conversation seemed...final."
"I know, but—"
But what? Harry was right. This wasn't going anywhere. You told him you couldn't be in a relationship with him, and he was responding to that. You knew it was coming, but it didn't hurt any less now that the moment had finally come.
"You're right," you said eventually, sitting up in your bed. "We came here separately, of course you have plans. I'm sorry if I kept you."
"You didn't," Harry reassured. "There's nowhere I wanted to be the last few days, but we... we're broken up, and as much as I want to stay, I don't want to keep giving myself false hope."
Your fingers twitched, itching to reach out, to touch him, hold him. But he was right. As much as you loved this relationship limbo, that was all it was. Stringing you and Harry along would only hurt you more.
"I'm sorry," was all you could say. For too many things, none of which you could bring up without crying.
"Me too," Harry said.
Leaning across the bed, he kissed your forehead, then stood up. "One day you'll realize how extraordinary you are, and you wont care how people perceive you," he said, his thumb caressing your cheek. "And then you'll go and make someone the luckiest man in the world by giving yourself over to him completely. I'm just devastated it wasn't me."
You watched him go from the sanctuary of your bed, knowing the second he was out of sight you'd break down completely. The door closed with a soft clock, and even though you knew you shouldn't, you hurried over to your bedroom window, waiting anxiously to get one last glimpse of him.
Harry's lean figure appeared a couple minutes later, his head bent and shoulders slightly hunched, avoiding the few photographers who had been waiting for him to leave the building. You wanted him to turn around. You wanted to see his face one last time, a final farewell. But perhaps for his sake, he didn't, and you watched as he retreated down the street and turned down the road out of sight.
On your last day in Rome, you found a note he'd written.
Harry had hidden it in one of the pockets of his favorite of your sweaters, though you weren't exactly sure when. It wasn't very long, and the note itself was no more than a scrap of paper, one you'd nearly thrown out by accident. But you would've recognized his handwriting anywhere, and fond memories of notes you used to find among your things kept you from throwing away the folded paper and opening it instead.
Perhaps in another life. Unless you change your mind in this one, H.

Thanksgiving at his Family's House
"Sorry, sweetie! Brandon didn't tell us he was bringing a guest! This is the only chair we have left! I'm just so happy that you're such a tiny little thing, that you fit!" Your boyfriend's mom told you as she slid the tray of the high chair in place.
At least you got to sit next to Brandon, you thought to yourself as you looked at the crowded room filled with the unfamiliar faces of your boyfriend's relatives.
It would have been nice if Brandon could have warned his family he was bringing you. It would have been nice if he would have had the time of dinner right. Maybe if you had been on time or his mom was forewarned, you wouldn't be dressed in your holiday best, locked in a high chair, waiting for Brandon to make you a plate like a toddler.
But, you weren't going to make a fuss and risk a bad impression the first time meeting his family. And you were glad you didn't.
As dinner went on, you found yourself happily chatting with all of Brandon's family members. They were all so kind and interesting that you totally forgot your childish seating arrangement.
As you chatted away with Brandon's sister, a 27-year-old woman just a few years your senior, you didn't even mind when he left, saying he was going to play football in the backyard.
At least, you didn't mind until all of the delicious food you had been eating started to make its way through your body.
"Hey, do you think you could let me out so I can help clean up?" You asked your boyfriend's sister timidly as you started to notice mother nature running it's course through your bladder and bowels.
"Of course not, sweetie! You're our guest! Make yourself comfortable! No cleaning for you," she said as she cleared your plate and utensils off the tray of your highchair.
You turned to Brandon's mother, hoping for help from her as a cramp rocked your body.
"Um, ma'am, could you let me out? I'd like to keep getting to know you all and don't want to be stuck at the table," you asked politely.
Your boyfriend's mother grinned.
"Oh, sweetie! You don't have to get out of your seat for that! I'll just roll you into the kitchen so you can talk with us while we clean!"
You blushed as the larger woman easily tipped the high chair back on its small wheels and rolled you into the kitchen.
You gripped your stomach and squeezed your thighs together as best you could as his mother and sister spoke with you while doing dishes.
However, after a little time, the sound of running water in the sink and the pressure of the large dinner you ate became too much. With zero fanfare, your bladder and bowels released at once, destroying your panties and cute holiday skirt.
Tears immediately pooled in your eyes at the humiliation of what had just happened. You were trying to plan a way out of the situation when Brandon's sister turned from the sink, and her gaze fell on you.
"What's wrong?" She asked just as the smell hit her. "Oh! Oh, no! Why didn't you tell us you needed to?" She asked rhetorically, letting the last words of her question drop off.
Tears began to roll down your cheeks in earnest.
The slightly older woman leaped into action immediately at your obvious distress. She whispered in her mom's ear then rescued you from your plastic prison. She easily lifted you onto her hip like an infant, embarrassingly smushing the mess in your panties into you, and carried you to an upstairs bedroom, decorated for a young girl.
"Don't worry, sweetie, we'll get you all fixed up and know one will be the wiser!"
Your boyfriend's sister expertly stripped you of your clothes and produced another holiday outfit, this time a red dress that looked a little big for you. She also pulled a large, white diaper out of a dresser.
You were too embarrassed to protest or ask questions as she had you lay on the bed and diapered you. You then meekly raised your arms as she pulled the dress over your head.
You spun for her at her command. She clapped her hands together, satisfied.
"Perfect! And no one else has to know! If anyone asks, I just thought you would look amazing in this cute little dress I used to wear to Thanksgiving in middle school, and you agreed to change!"
You nodded your head obediently, ready to agree to any story other than the truth.
"And, if you have any other little, um, accidents," your boyfriend's sister said conspiratorially, "just let me know, and your new big sister will be more than happy to take care of you again."
You blushed, but nodded your head in affirmation meekly, not ready to piss off the woman who just helped you after watching you mess yourself in a highchair.
She led you back into the rest of the house, where the rest of the family was now gathered together watching football. Brandon's mom gave you an empathetic look as you carefully walked over to your boyfriend and sat next to him.
"Hey, baby," he said, making your face turn as red as your dress, "Cute outfit! My sis is letting you borrow her clothes? I told you that she'd love you!"
You just snuggled into him and made a non-committal noise.
The rest of the night went blessedly smoothly. Everyone socialized amiably, updating each other on the happenings in their lives before it was time to leave. You were only reminded of the events earlier in the day twice, when Brandon's sister asked if you needed any more 'help.'
As you left for the night, his sister made sure to give you the last hug. She let her hand drift down your back and onto your padded rear-end, squeezing it before announcing to the rest of the family, "I've always wanted a baby sister, and I'm so happy my little brother has seemed to find me the perfect one! I can't wait to see you at Christmas!"
The rest of the family cheered in agreement as you walked out the door to the car, your boyfriend beaming at how much everyone loved you. You, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel like you were going to learn to dread holidays with his family as you let a little trickle of urine into the diaper wrapped between your legs.

Round 7 Final thoughts/Analysis
First of all, Blink Gone is a banger but we knew that already.
Second,
Till is and also is not dead. Till was used as a pawn for the segyein for entertainment. Keep in mind this is Season 50. 50 seasons of Alien Stage, and you think they wouldn't go off without a hitch? Till was used to lure Hyuna and Mizi back. Hyuna is worth a lot and Mizi escaped live on stage. Think of the Quarter Quells in The Hunger Games. Do you really think... they wouldn't make Season 50 special? Especially since Luka won S49. It was always rigged in Luka's favor. Or is it? (hey, vsauce here-)
Now. Till was EXTREMELY drugged up. He may have had his fighting spirit back, but he was definitely 'roided up by the aliens for the plan. The Finals were rigged in Luka's favor, it was all rigged in Luka's favor. Those drugs in Tills system, for all we know, can be keeping him alive. There is a good chance they don't want Till dead and that they're only faking his death for the sake of the... "special guests."
It might have been rigged in Luka's favor, but there's a good chance he might not be getting out of this safe, sane, or even alive. He may have captured the hearts of the segyein in Season 49, but he is still a human pet. He is still expendable for the sake of entertainment. None of us character stans, Luka stans, are off the hook. ALNST is not over.
EDIT: I would also like to point out that Luka was probably also on drugs. He was in hysterics pretty much the whole time. Luka is trapped in this cycle and is a pet, just like Till.
As for those "special guests," Mizi and Hyuna: there can be multiple ways this plays out, either Mizi goes against Hyuna, or Hyuna goes against Luka. We already had Mizi v Luka, so they wouldn't do that again.
As for the song itself, I picked up a few lyrics:
Luka: "Before this piercing, radiant moment fades away"
"Piercing, radiant moment" referring to Till and/or Hyuna being injured.
Luka: "Neither today nor tomorrow, exist for me"
"Exist for me" is a reference to Ivan's thought process in why he chose to die in round 6
Till (i think): "Blink and gone, relish the present"
"Relish the present" as in Till needs to live in the moment to survive, rather than to win. He is on adrenaline, drugs, and survival instinct.
Till: "Clear your mind, leave the burdens behind"
A reference to himself that he... basically needs to lock in.
Luka: "The dark crimson air embraces us, lifting our spirits"
Ivan reference, specifically Luka imitating Ivan
Till: "And the fiery thrill blazes out to the sky"
Ivantill meteor shower reference
Now as for the meaning of the song itself, that could be multiple things:
Till realizing too late about Ivan's feelings and that he was wrong about his image of Ivan, "And in a blink, gone."
Till's life, "And in a blink, gone." (which is why i say he's dead and also not dead. He very well could be dead and just be brought back to life like the Sualive and Alivan theories)
Luka's ability to mimic others
Hyunamizi also realizing too late that they might have been set up
I think the flashbacks to round 6 are pretty obvious in what they mean and what was intended for it to mean/symbolize, so I'll spare it.
OH YEAH and speaking of the alivan and sualive theories, those are a LOT MORE LIKELY after this. Because what was the point of Till's death... after round 6? Would they (Vivinos, not the aliens) kill Till off after what happened in round 6? Death is too easy. Death is mercy. Yes I wish mercy upon Till, but there are better ways to show him mercy with what we have without him dying. That being said, if he is actually dead. Like dead, dead, (i will kms) then at least he died where Mizi was the last thing he saw.
Mizi was the last thing he saw.
We might have been wrong about Till only loving the "image" of Mizi, but then again, maybe not. Again, Till immediately lit up at the sight of Mizi, recognizing her instantly. It gave him the motivation to continue, he didn't notice of care how different, traumatized, and worn down she looked. He only saw her. Maybe it wasn't her image he was fond of. Maybe he really did love her. But maybe he was also grasping at straws to survive and continue on. Maybe he thought he had a chance. Cause Mizi was also grasping at straws. As we saw in the flashback with Mizitill, they were definitely friends. Mizi might only see Till as a friend, but now both would only have each other left, plus Hyuna and the resistance. Mizi might not give Till a romantic chance, but they can be there for each other because they both understand what the other went through.
Also Issac and Dewey better pull through I swear to fucking god. WHY WERE THEY NOT THERE. If you saw my bingo card, I marked off Dewssac appearance, I thought I saw them, but I was seeing shit so ignore that.
Personal note: I was really. REALLY overwhelmed leading up to this. I lost a lot of sleep over the past 48 hours due to anxiety over this and I'm glad that it finally happened. I'm a lot better now that my anxiety and nausea is gone and even if I'm extremely... scared... for Till... I'm still hopeful that he's alive, and that sualive and alivan are real. Maybe I am delusional, but I mean, I enjoy the Actor AU a bit too much... so...
That's all, I think. I might have more later after I stew on this a bit more.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
art has been your best friend since forever.. from sharing ice cream cones as kids to sharing homework answers in high school. you didn't want to lose him when he went all the way to stanford for college, so you went with him, stating that you already wanted to go to school there, it was just a coincidence that they had a tennis program for art. it was no secret that you two liked each other, it was obvious since you were young, and once you decided to follow art to college it was clear to him that he wanted to do something about it.
Tumblr media
it was a normal sunny day at school, you made your way down the winding paths to the tennis courts like you usually do after class, knowing art is probably there practicing. he greets you with his usual smile and wave, walking over to say hi, spitting out his gum on the way. "hey, you're here earlier than usual" he says, "not that im complaining" you look away to hide the light blush forming on your face. "yeah well my lecture ended early, i thought i'd come surprise you" you smile, admiring the thin sheen of sweat on arts face, the moisture turning his hair curlier than usual. art says that his practice isn't over yet, but he'll come hang out at your dorm after. you nod, leaving and heading to your room to prepare. you know it's not normal to feel this pressure to be perfect for your friend, but you can't help but take a quick shower, slathering your body and hair in sweet smelling soap and spraying some perfume around the room.
you feel your stomach jump when art knocks on your door (you should really just give him a key), walking over and looking back at your room to make sure everything looked good, before opening the door. art immediately notices the sweet smell of you, his eyes fluttering shut as he greets you. "hi.. you smell nice" he says shyly, a big change from his demeanor earlier. you smile, waving him into your room and sitting cross legged on the bed. art sits next to you, on the edge of the bed, which you find strange, usually he gets comfortable right away. "are you okay art? you don't seem like yourself.." tilting your head to the side you try to meet arts eyes, but he doesn't look at you. "you know you can talk to me art, we've been friends since forever, you know?" he nods slowly, taking a deep breath before turning and facing you, sitting cross legged like you are. "okay.. ill tell you, but promise not to laugh at me okay?" you nod, urging him to speak more. "well.. patrick has been making fun of me a lot lately, you know how he is.. when he found out i was a virgin in college he couldn't believe it.. and- and i know we've been friends forever so i was wondering if you could help" he blurts it out so fast you have to take as second to actually understand what he means. "art.. are you sure? i mean wouldn't you want your first time to be with someone you like?" you ask, hoping you'll get the answer you're looking for. "i- it would be, if it was with you" he says, hanging his head down. he knows it's putting you in an awkward situation but it's now or never. you don't know why it happens, but you start to giggle, your heart filling with happiness after art confessed. "listen, art you know i'd do anything for you yeah? i just wanna make sure you actually want this.. with me, i don't want you to regret it" art looks toward you, finally meeting your eyes with his watery blue ones. "i could never regret anything i do with you" he says, leaning closer and pressing his lips to yours, sighing happily when you take control of the kiss, deepening it as you climb into his lap. pulling away and cupping his flushed face with your hands you press your forehead against his. "tell me if you want to stop okay art? ill take care of you i promise" he nods slowly, only looking at your lips and wishing they were on his again. you kiss him, more aggressively than before as you let your fingers wander down his chest, gently tugging at the hem of his shirt, feeling his flushed skin underneath. art gets the message, pulling off his shirt as he lets you do what you want to him, shifting from kissing him to sucking down his neck, leaving blooming purple marks in your wake that are sure to get art in trouble. he welcomes it though, he needs a reminder that you were actually here with him, that he wasn't imagining it. when you make your way back to arts mouth he whines softly, pulling at your shirt, "wanna see more of you.." you laugh softly, leaning back and pulling off your shirt, happy to press your own heated skin against arts. his head is reeling, the first girl he ever liked is kissing him, not just that but she's gonna take his virginity, art almost can't believe it, but feeling of you in his lap pulls him into reality.
after a few minutes you lean up on your elbows, telling art to take his finger out. "did i do something wrong?" he immediately asks, scared that he hurt you. "no no it's okay, i just think that im ready to have you inside of me okay?" he nods quickly and makes his way back up the bed, his hips hanging over yours. you fumble around on your nightstand to find a condom, taking it and handing it to art (who only knows how to put one on due to his embarrassing sex ed classes in high school) and spreading your legs wider to accommodate his frame. art looks quite anxious for someone who's about to lose his virginity with a girl he's liked his whole life, so you take his mind off of it by kissing him softly, not aggressively like before. when he starts to slowly enter you have to close your eyes at the stretch, he's not uncomfortably thick but he's definitely the longest you've taken. opening your eyes you're faced with art in the same situation, fully inside of you but not moving, his eyes scrunched closed. finding his hand white-knuckling the sheets next to your head, you replace the sheets with your own hand, lacing your fingers together. "art are you okay?" he nods, taking a deep breath. "yeah im fine it's just.. you're so warm and tight.. feels like i can't move" he almost whines, slowly dragging his hips out before pressing balls deep inside of you again. "fuck.." art swears he's in heaven when you clench around him, his forehead dropping to touch yours as he starts a steady pace, keeping in mind he could cum pretty much anytime. he can tell he's too nervous to get closer to you, so, making the move first you wrap your arms and legs loosely around him, feeling him actually relax and stop tensing his body. the closeness spurs him on as art sets a faster pace with his hips, now not even pulling out all the way, mostly just humping his hips into you. you weren't expecting him to perform as well as he is, feeling yourself clenching around him as you get closer. "art.. art im close.." you whine out to him and he nods, his eyes still closed as he squeezes your hand. as he gets closer you notice he also gets much louder, whines and moans escaping his lips with no sign of stopping, mostly utterings of "fuck you're so warm" and "please keep squeezing me like that" and though you love hearing him you know your neighbors will complain, so you kiss him yet again, still soft like before, and you can tell that both of you are trying to convey feelings of fondness through it.
you aren't surprised that art cums before you, with a loud moan that you're glad you had the foresight to stifle. it almost sends him into complete overstimulation when you cum, clenching tight around him. after the adrenaline wears off from cumming, art completely rests his body weight on you, his warm body actually weirdly comforting in the moments after sex. you sit in a comfortable silence for a few minutes before art finally pulls out, taking off the condom and throwing it in the trash before laying back down with you. "i really can't thank you enough.. i mean i thought losing my virginity would be awesome but.. that was like next level.." you laugh at arts flattering but funny wording as you flip onto your side, looking up at him. "of course art.. we've been friends forever, there's nothing i wouldn't do for you" arts stomach drops at the mention of friends, immediately thinking the worst. "so.. after this we'll just go back to being friends?" he has the cutest pout on his face when he asks. you almost laugh again, stopping yourself when you see the serious look on his face. "i mean after this i would hope that we could be more than that" you say, sitting up slightly. art let's out a breath he didn't know he was holding when you say that, "thank god.. ive been waiting to ask you to be my girlfriend for like 8 years now.." he smiles genuinely at you, his pretty blue eyes gleaming in the beams from the sun peeking through your window. you lean in, pressing a soft kiss before pulling away, reaching over for his backpack. "what are you doing?" he asks, confused when you hand him his phone. "don't you want to tell patrick the good news?"
art doesn't have much experience with his own pleasure, only finding time to jerk off quickly in the shower or to help himself sleep before bed, so he can't explain it when his hips start to cant against yours, whines and little moans escaping his swollen lips. you smile when his hips start to move, knowing that since it's his first time he probably can't help it, but you can't stop yourself from teasing him. "excited art?" you smile against him. he immediately blushes, hiding his face in your neck. "i- im sorry i don't know why that's happening.." he says, panting into your mouth. you giggle, feeling a bulge against you as you stop kissing art and look at him. arts lips are shiny and slick with spit, his chest and face flushed and his hair curled with sweat. "do you.. want to go further?" you ask even though you know the answer. he nods quickly, "yes.. please i do" you smile, happy with his answer, leaning forward and kissing him. you tap his hips with your hands to signal him to lift them, pulling off his gym shorts and exposing his boxers underneath. he gasps at the pressure of your hand on his bulge, the warmness of your hand feeling different (and much better) than his own. you look up at him, silently asking if you can go further and he nods, lifting his hips again to let you pull off his boxers, groaning when his drooling dick slaps against his tummy, smearing precum where it rests. art is so sensitive that even the air touching him makes him twitch. he looks away, embarrassed of his sensitivity and the fact that he's the only one naked. sensing his nervousness you say softly, "it's okay art, i knew you'd be sensitive, it's your first time after all, i was sensitive too" he smiles and nods, biting the inside of his cheek at the thought of you being the sensitive one.. but he'll save that thought for another day. he's brought rudely back into reality when you touch his dick softly, running your fingers gently from his flushed pink tip to his base, tightening your grip until art pretty much slaps your hand away. "i- im sorry i was too close, i don't wanna cum yet.." he says, trying to avoid the embarrassing truth that he just wants this experience to last longer. you nod, deciding to pull off your shorts and panties as well, for the first time feeling a bit embarrassed as art can't pull his gaze away from you. "you can touch me if you want to art.. i can help you" he nods wordlessly as you switch positions, now you lay back against your pillows as art hovers over you, desperate for the next step. "okay art, so before we do anything you have to prep me okay? it's best to use your fingers.." it's awkward to talk about it to him, but knowing it's his first time helps spur you along. "okay and.. and where do i put them?" art asks, looking up at you for guidance. you move him down the bed, so that he can be face to face with your pussy. the urge to squirm away or cover yourself up is hard to resist, and art is able to tell that, gently placing a warm hand on your inner thigh, the pressure calming you down. you take his other hand in yours, slowly guiding him down to your slit but letting him push a finger in on his own. he looks up at you constantly for validation that what he's doing is right, and feels good to you, his eyes widening when you clench around his finger, his dick twitching against the bed when he imagines how nice you'll feel against him. finally relaxing, you let art do his thing, blissfully rocking your hips against his hand. you're thankful that you're able to do most of the work, letting art just experience things for the first time.
