Ugggh the bathroom doesn't have an AC vent or anything to vent away steam and only one outlet so we're having to rely on a small battery operated desk fan with a bowl of ice packs in front of it and a basic dehumidifier comprised of a giant "pill" of some absorbant powder that dissolves in less than a week in this state and refills are like twenty dollars for a pack of 3

As you can imagine, this is not ideal condition for someone with Crohn's and celiac diagnoses and a looming IBS diagnosis on top of that

I must have done right by my cats, right? My vets are very impressed that Nerys made it to eighteen, and Everest at eleven is considered elderly now too. Like obvs it's not all my doing because I was twelve when I adopted Nerys so a lot of the care was from my parents, but like we/I managed the best we could despite our/my financial situations, and gave them the best we could, and it worked until now didn't it? Neither of them were seriously sick until this year, Nerys has even had a heart murmur for like seven years and was never bothered by it and still isn't now. The way the act you wouldn't even know anything was wrong now. They're still eating and drinking and playing and zooming and Everest gets into window fights with the stray outside. So like I should be happy about that, right?
