Regarding Johnny's series, the posting of the next part is going to be delayed a little bit because I recently had an idea that chronologically goes before everything I've written so far, so I have to figure that one out first lol but it's coming! I'm transmasc and that's honestly been a huge reason why I'm absolutely terrified of being in a relationship. Because I love men, and it's gay. I'm gay.

I've started dating someone again after a very long time of being single and I was horrified of him not accepting that he's queer, that we're gay, that our relationship is not straight, because I've had that experience in the past. My last relationship was with a man who insisted that he wasn't queer in any way because I'm "not actually a man". It was humiliating, devastating. It hurt so much.

Today, my boyfriends brother texted me out of the blue and told me about how my boyfriend has been getting into arguements and fights with his mom because she keeps misgendering me. And my boyfriend stands up for me and defends me. Every. Single. Time.

I didn't even know.

I love him so much, I don't know what to do with it. I actually feel sick just from raw emotions I never thought I'd get to feel.

I'm in love. I feel so alive.

If there's one shot that's stuck with me during the whole jayce and viktor sequence, it's this one short flashback from season 1. We see almost see Viktor through Jayce's eyes and he looks so? Soft? And the way Viktor looks at him with such tenderness and love in this eyes (his eyes literally soften when he looks at him). This shot just feels so intimate. I feel like I'm walking in on something that I shouldn't

queerbaiting is when the promotion for a FICTIONAL STORY intentionally hints towards two characters having a romantic relationship, without any intention to follow through in the show, in order to get queer people watching without discouraging the homophobic enjoyers of the show

queerbaiting is NOT:

a celebrity who you think is queer because theyre gnc or they have a 'vibe'. that is a real person and they cannot queerbait

two friends of the same gender pretending to flirt with each other for fun. those are real people and they cannot queerbait

a show with two characters of the same gender who are canonically friends that YOU PERSONALLY think would be better in a relationship. that's not bating, that's shipping, and subject to opinion

there are more but those are the main examples of people misunderstanding what queerbaiting is and being mad at something that isn't actually a problem
