Chase "...I haven't forgotten." She helped me to get a house, but never let me stay in hers. "Your family friend can rent my roof if she accepts the terms. What more do you want?"

Erika "Hush, she's returning. Let's save her from this argument, shall we?"

Erika "Did you like the space, dear?"

Blair "The energy up there is perfect. I instantly hit it off with those flowers and the trees have a cool wavelength, too."

Chase "We should discuss the details of the contract-"

Blair "Sure, give me the paper and I'll put my name on it. Gotta be quick, I have a friend dropping my stuff here at any minute."

Chase "What? We haven't yet agreed-"

Blair "It's hard to find anyone who owns a van and isn't already overbooked, I was damn lucky to get him to help me. Oh, I'm so vibing this. I feel connected to this place already."

Erika "Seems like it's settled, then! Chase, dear, do you need help finding those papers of yours?"

Chase ...I only offered an opportunity yet Erika took it as a promise. I don't need anything from her. I can throw them both out...

I shouldn't let my annoyance cloud rational choice. I'm still lacking crucial components. For now, the rent income will secure the development process.

I just posted my first fanfic in 11 years, and my first ever HxH 'fic! I've been working on it in bits and pieces for a long time. It's a one-shot introspective character piece about post-separation Killua finding an unexpected way to process some of his traumatic memories from Chimera Ant Arc and also some of the things from his childhood.

It would mean a lot to me if you check it out and maybe leave a comment if you like it! I'm hoping it'll be the first of many HxH 'fics, I have lots of ideas and WIPs.

Hey! I just wanted to drop by and say how much I love your writing! i feel so much I feel so numb is the first F1 fic I ever read when I first got into the sport summer of last year. I reread it this afternoon because I'm feeling VERY VERY BAD about Carlos leaving Ferrari on Sunday and reading that beautiful piece brought me so much comfort and hope.

Charlos and your fic are really what got me into the sport so thank you so much for sharing your amazing works and I hope you keep it going!

Ahhh thank you, I'm so honored to have been a part of what brought you into charlos and f1! I'm sorry that things are sorta 🥲 right now...but it's okay to feel emotional 🥺❤️ - I got into f1 because of Charlos, and I have no illusions that it will be the same for me anymore with them apart. It's sad that this stage of Carlos’ career is coming to a close, but personally I've been feeling lately a lot of hope and excitement for what's to come.

We'll have fun changes to look forward to, and I'm also comforted by the fact that Williams are also quite good at social media/fan engagement - they're probably one of the best on the grid imo. So I'm glad we'll still get to see a lot of him and discover what he and Alex will be like as teammates, as well as what he and Charles will be like not as teammates... 😆

I think the teammate tension between them, while essential to their dynamic thus far and compelling at times, will be refreshing to be rid of. The Ferrari brand and the way the media/fans highlighted their drama put them under such a microscope. Like Charles has said recently, they will now get to spend time together just because they want to (and will get to race each other without the complicated ‘teammate’ caveat), which I think we’ll find to be more fulfilling in many ways and will bring them closer 🙏💕

Crying bc the events of Pacific's Rim are literally happening right now. January 8 was the day Mako and Raleigh fought those kaijus in the Hong Kong double event. January 12 is the triple event where they close the breach. In two days we cancel the apocalypse.

my prof just explained on the syllabus that he’s included more points in the class than we needed to pass, so we could skip up like?? 20 small assignments/quizzes/participation!! and still get a very high grade!!

the idea was that we could focus on assignments that played to our strengths - only do the participation stuff if we like to talk out loud - only do the quizzes/readings if we want to do the class remotely - only do online discussions if we like to talk and share opinions but struggle with anxiety in class ect.

and that’s cool enough but then he pulled up DnD character sheets with drawings he’d done of these hypothetical student player classes and how our various accessibility needs could be gamified to ‘max out’ different aspects of the class to get high grades and like!!!!!

hell yeah!!!! let’s treat accessibility in higher education not just as a necessity but as the fun, engaging, and creative aspect of learning that it is!!! I love this!!
