#reason i wanted to change koe's design was bc i felt like the first one was a bit too basic ig?#wanted to give it more personality beyond being a maid outfit #so a funkier skirt and shorter sleeves and gloves and stuff. idk its more koe and less maid. but still maid #other than that obviously are the two wholly new characters #honestly designing them was interesting in a way bc it was like reverse engineering andys face #i think she takes after her mom more tho #but she also does try to emulate her so thats also part of it #honestly andy is really similar to amary in a lot of ways not just bc of the whole princess thing but the family dynamics to a degree too #there are still some pretty big differences (andy wasnt abused but her father is still really strict and constraining out of worry #and amary's mom was actually kinda the polar opposite of andy's and their emulations are completely different too)#BUT #look read cepheus's flaw. hes not going to be a good guy lol #hes the type that starts out nice enough on the surface but when pushed it will become. again. ends justify the means #very.... me, at noon on a Thursday at the office: what if I whipped up a new costume piece before Saturday?

#the thing is....#1) I like circle skirts #2) I like solid pockets #3) obviously I like corsets/corset-style waistbands #4) I hate the hassle of wrangling multiple outfit pieces together #5) I still have a good length of pretty red fabric from a failed attempt at making pants #logically I would abbreviate my plans and just fix the darn pants (if I can find them)#illogically I want to whip up a skirt #draft a corset waistband for it #find some scraps of boning #throw in some pockets #and wear that to this weekend's ren fest (and next weekend's) with a t-shirt #(and the hoops for a breeze because it's gonna be hot again)#see... my eventual aim is to have something comfortable I can just throw on with minimal effort #and after a couple of years I'm starting to figure out what I define as 'comfortable'#but as we all know I also can't work without an impending deadline #(circle skirts are the easy part let's be honest. it's hand-drafting the waistband that'll get me)#(it seems so silly that I need to assemble anything corset-esque in ten different parts when it's not a proper corset)#(also I found some spare eyelets while cleaning lol)#anyway we'll see if I still have motivation for this by the time I'm home #because for any chance of success I will need to 1) clean my space 2) find my supplies and 3) cut out at least the skirt tonight #hmmmm I should find and print the pattern for those pockets....

#the armature was acting weird for a couple days but i have now Fixed It.#now all i need is to find or make a good colourless gem material #and fix the weight painting on the skirt and a little topology on the dress #and scour every single viable model in the entire game to see if any have thigh high fishnets because making them is a nightmare #because the whole tiling texture thing the k1 ones have going on does NOT seem to go down well with 3's engine #at least i got by with the snake print by just slapping it on the textures themselves #i upscaled the dress and bow textures to do this at the right pattern scale but im considering downscaling them again to get a lower res #look more in line with y3 clothes texture resolution. idk im undecided #goromi #yakuza 3 #smoking tw #yakuza #rgg #our stuff

a new attempt at me trying to sketch out ideas for my porcelain (faerie) royalty outfit that I’m putting together, all I have so far is the shirt, earring (it’s not even finished) and bracelet

#whimsy whispers #I want to thrift as many of the things I’ll be wearing as I cann #or make them myself #I’m trying to make my jewelry I made the bracelet and earring and will make a necklace #idk if I’d make the tiara but I can’t thrift that either cause any big tiara you see at a thrift or antique store is gonna be expensive #so that would probs require a trip to claires #I like rococo shoes a lot but those are expensive and I found a pair of shoes that was really cute and had those vibes but was a size six #which I am not #I need to figure out a skirt/dress sitch as well #I also want elbow length gloves like I did see a pair recently but I didn’t like them idk if I’ll regret having not bought them later or not #rhis is all for fun but also if my roommates and i can put together outfits in time and like are able to then we’d go to a renaissance #festival which I’ve never been to lex has though but had a bad time #idk it’s fun to put together outfits also which is why I’m doing this #I may be going to the local goodwill again this week so we’ll see if there’s anything new since I went last week #I know there’s other thrift stores in town or where I live at but I’ve not been to them or they’re simply not on the way to where else we’ll #be going so it’s like ah there’s no use in thinking about it #just hoping I’ll find at least one good thing
