Ducktales Tickle Headcanons!!

Oh my days, these little guys have been eating away at my thoughts for the last month, so I'm finally forcing myself to write!! 💞💞✍️✍️✍️

Okay, I think this gif says it all, but Huey can. NOT. stop. moving!!

One poke to the sides, and he is jumping away his with highest-pitched squeal you've ever heard

It's lowkey embarrassing sometimes because of how out of control he gets

Like, he's the oldest! He's supposed to be calm and collected!

That goes out the window when he's being tickled.

It's not that he doesn't like it, he thinks it's super fun and silly!

He just has no way to manage his body 🤷

I'd say his worst spots are his ribs, feet, back, and armpits

Usually, his laugh is very bright and airy, mostly consisting of surprised giggles

Get any of these spots though?

Instead, Huey is cackling like a lunatic, out of breath and looking like he's going crazy

His knees are a melt spot! Gentle tracing there, and he won't squirm as much, opting to curl up and giggle

Most definitely squeaks. Like- a lot.

Also cannot hold in his laugh for shit

Poor kiddo just bursts out laughing immediately

Has a habit of trying to talk through his laughter, but he can never really make coherent sentences. Can get out single words though

His brothers loove to tickle him as a means of convincing him to do things (Going on an adventure, donating to Louie's kids, etc..)

He and Dewey also regularly partake in tickle fights

It's pretty much a matter of who can reach the other's spots first to determine the winner

Doesn't get lee moods often, but they definitely still happen

The Duck family is actually extremely chill when it comes to tickling, so it's pretty normal for one of the triplets to just ask for tickles

Because of this, Huey can usually just ask one of his brothers or uncles for help :)

Whenever Huey does ask for tickles, he'll usually tell his ler to just pin his arms up or smth so he doesn't accidentally squirm away

Or hit someone. That has happened far more than he'd like to admit.

Still, his brothers always get over it, and love tickling him too much to ever stop

And when Della made it back from space???

OH YOU BEST BELIEVE HE IS GOING TO HIS MOM FOR TICKLES

The first time, he probably just came up to her and asked, and Della was so surprised because like-

Her baby is ticklish?? He wants to be tickled?? 😃 He wants to be tickled by her??? 😭😭😭

There were some tears of joy that day, and she definitely indulged

Ler:

Loves tickling his brothers!!!

A more gentle ler, and is always very careful of boundaries

His style mostly consists of scribbling, and very rarely does anything rougher than a light squeeze

Huey tickles Louie the most, but it's usually because he asks the most. (more on that later)

Is willing to tickle anyone if they ask, and is always so happy to do so

Does tease, but only when it's someone he's familiar with, and the mood is chill

"Ahhtickletickletickle!! Is this a good spot?" "I've got you now~"

Things like that

Now, remember how I said he rarely tickles roughly??

Well, there are two exceptions.

One of those exceptions being if it is specifically requested by his lee

It's typically Dewey who does this, but Huey is still very cautious

Checks in more often when he's tickling harder, just to make sure everythings hunky dory

There hasn't really been a time when things went too far, and Huey is genuinely proud of that

Again, very respectful. Never wants to make anyone uncomfortable.

Now for the second exception.

It is a pretty well known fact that Huey can get out of control when he's really mad or worked up

Someone has to do something really wrong to awaken an angry Huey.

When that person happens to be one of his little brothers??

Well.. let's just say he didn't earn the title Tickle Monster for nothing.

Emphasis on the monster part

Even when he's seething, Huey still has the common sense not to hurt his siblings

But that doesn't mean he isn't willing to tickle them until they're crying and high-key about to piss themself

This has only happened like, 3 times?

Even so, the lee certainly knows what they did wrong, so there is no doubt that any of it is unprovoked

When he's in this zone, he does not say a word

Just stares menacingly at his lee, and keeps it up until they either apologize, or (more likely) he feels like he's evened out the score

And again, it does take a substantial amount of annoyance to unleash the Tickle Monster

And Huey always lets people know when he's getting annoyed waaay before he resorts to drastic measures

Will always ask if the lee is okay after he tickles them, and will probably get them some water

Bro, we managed to get lee AND ler content (technically) of Huey- I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!

Absolutely loves tickling!

This boy yearns for attention every day of his waking life- tickling is no different!

Dewey's a fighter though, so his ler better expect to be able to hold their ground

Will tickle anyone back without hesitation

Well.. except for the Huey Tickle Monster..

That's the one time when he just accepts his fate.

Other than that, Dewey will totally slap away hands, buck, arch and kick- it's just his nature.

Worst spots are his sides, feet, belly, knees, and surprisingly enough, his cheeks!

He's pretty ticklish in other places too, but these spots can be really killer

Okay, let me tell you!!

THIS. BOY. HAS. NO. SHAME!!

Absolutely zero

If he wants to be tickled, he's walking up to whoever is closest and practically demanding that they do so.

He gets lee moods somewhat often, but he'll ask even if he's not in a mood

He could just be a little bored, and just go up to a brother for tickles

Donald thinks it is so cute, so of course he never says no

His brothers pretend it's annoying sometimes, but they've never said no either soo..

Even though he does move around a bit, Dewey can actually manage to keep his arms up pretty well if he wants to

You know the 'Arms Up' game??

He's deemed himself the all-time winner!

Only lost once, and that was to Webby

Dewey's laugh is super sporadic- it ranges from frantic giggles, to squealing, to cackles, and everything in between! Sometimes within a few seconds!

I said his cheeks are one of his worst spots, but they're also a melt spot for him!

Gentle fluttering there makes him squeak and grab onto his ler's wrists

Will straight up throw in the towel if he's being tickled that way, the light sensations are unbearable to him

During lee moods though, sometimes he'll ask specifically for cheek-tickles

Gets tickled by pretty much everyone, whether he asks or not

Donald specifically has to tickle him to calm some of the energy down sometimes

With three kids, he tries and tries to find ways to make life more manageable

He's found that 5 minutes set aside to tickle Dewey consistently works to keep him under control

By the way, we can all agree that he is the biggest mama's boy known to man, correct? Good. I thought so.

Dewey is always asking her to tickle him, and has even gotten her back a few times!!

For a while, he went into detective mode to try and figure out if she was ticklish

Asking Uncle Donald, his brothers, everyone.

At some point, he crept up behind her and just squeezed her sides

Della legit screamed, whipped around, and tickled the daylights out of him.

Dewey had no regrets, and now will always start tickle fights with her.

NOT ONLY DID WE GET CANON TICKLES FOR HUEY, BUT DEWEY IS TICKLISH TOO!! 🥳💞💞

Ler:

He is a crazy ler!!

Tickles anyone and everyone ALWAYS.

If you let your guard down for a minute, there is a 90% chance that you're gonna get got.

His style is super chaotic, with wiggling fingers, tazes, squeezes, pokes..

Dewey will dew it all.

Depending on who he's tickling, he adjusts to tickle lighter or harder

His only goal is to make his lee laugh as much as possible

If light tickles can achieve that? He's going in gentle!

Harder tickles get a better reaction? He's doing that instead!

He tickles everybody about the same amount, but he does get Webby pretty frequently

Keeps track of how many times he's gotten each of his friends/family throughout the week

Does respect boundaries of course, but Dewey can get carried away sometimes

The triplets have a codeword, so he usually stops as soon as they say it

Besides that, he can forget that people need to breathe

He does do his best to check in sometimes, it just might take a second for him to remember

Gets ler moods too, and typically goes to Louie for those

His little brother whines about it, but will usually accept.

If the script is flipped, however, and someone goes to Dewey with a lee mood??

Oh ho ho, he is ecstatic!!!

As soon as boundaries and limits are communicated, he is practically jumping on his lee and going crazy.

Seems like the type to pin people down to get their worst spots

Sits on legs, holds an arm up, all of that.

Teases like nobody's business!

Wiggles his fingers, slooowly inches closer to a tickle spot, and that's just the physical stuff!

With verbal teasing, he'll make little sound effects as he works, gives compliments, whatever he can think of.

Will also pretend that he's not the one tickling his lee, asking them again and again why they're laughing

"What could possibly be so funny! Unless.. you've finally realized how hilarious I am!"

LOVES to use raspberries

They always get such frantic reactions from his brothers, how could he not use them??

Will end it all with a hug and some more compliments to keep the mood light

Lee:

Okay, look at his silly little face and tell me that this kid is anything but a lee.

I only put 5% because I feel bad for him 😭/hj

No but seriously, Louie is the biggest lee of the family! No doubt about it.

He actually really likes tickling, but refuses to admit it.

His brothers know already, they see right through his facade

Gives bratty lee energy, but it is super easy to take him down a peg.

Very big squirmer, but (suspiciously enough) never tries to actually get away.

He'll arch, twist, and kick halfheartedly, and will also wrap his arms around himself though

His laugh is loud and abrupt, and always sounds hysterical and loopy

Even if less ticklish spots are being targeted, he immediately bursts out into giggles with no chance at speaking

His words just jumble together, and it sounds like he's drunk or something

Because of this, if Louie can't manage to get the duck's safe-word out, a tap on the shoulder or the leg works just the same.

Also hides his face A. LOT!!

Hides in his hoodie, or puts his hands over his face

Worst spots are probably his sides, feet, armpits, belly, and neck

Can't take being tickled for very long, he's super sensitive

Cries extremely easily too

Like, a couple scribbles to his stomach and poor Louie is shaking his head frantically, hitting at the floor with a red face and tears in his eyes

It always scares the crap out of Huey, but they've talked about it. It's just how he reacts.

Dewey is more used to it, and rarely pays any mind when his little brother turns into a living water fountain

Teasing makes this boy's face so red- He's cooked the moment a word leaves his ler's mouth.

I said before that Dewey is great at the 'Arms Up' game..

Louie is not.

He doesn't even have a proper score because he never even managed to get his arms above his head in the first place

His brothers have tried to get him to play countless times, but the very mention of tickling has his nervous system going crazy

The most he's accomplished on his own was getting them half up, with his elbows pressed to his sides

The other triplets just yank his arms up and tickle him anyways, the game long forgotten at the sound of his surprised shrieks

If you catch him by surprise, Louie will quite literally collapse

Dewey loves to clamp onto his sides when he least expects it, because his reaction is hilarious.

His knees will buckle, and he'll go falling to the floor with a screech

It always cracks his brothers up.

Gets lee moods on a weekly basis at least

It's very common for Huey to find his littlest brother acting quieter than usual, with a slightly pink face and his hands fidgeting in his pockets.

Louie is pretty much the only one embarrassed to ask for tickles, so he'll try to hide how he feels

Luckily for him, his siblings are too emotionally attentive to not realize when he's in a mood

Again, he doesn't directly ask for tickles, but Huey ends up noticing the most, while Dewey will tickle him more at random.

Can't say "tickle". It's just not in his vocabulary.

Instead, will make a face, and say:

"Uh... You know, the t-word."

When Della returned and was introduced to the family, it took a while for Louie to decide that he did want her to tickle him too

Dewey immediately took it as his mission to help, and spilled the info to their very surprised (and very touched) mom.

After that, Della made it a point to tickle her youngest whenever he wanted, and quickly picked up on some of the signs he would drop

Ler:

Not gonna lie, I can hardly see Louie as the type to tickle other people a whole lot, so apologies for this section being shorter than the rest 😅

Okay, it's not that he doesn't want to tickle people (although that usually isn't on his agenda)

Louie Duck is hopeless when it comes to being a ler

He gets so embarrassed just thinking about it that he gives up.

Cannot tease, or say tickle, or any of that

He's attempted to tickle his brothers a total of maybe 2 times, but it didn't work out

There was a time when he tried to scribble at Dewey's knee when they were watching tv

Dewey was legit so confused, because his brother had never ever done something like that, and lowkey asked if he needed something 😭

Louie played it off like he wanted the remote, but his face was so red- Dewey knew something was up

After some pointless questioning, Dewey just wrecked his shit right then and there.

'Sup party people!

It's been a while since I started a tag, but I want to try again. I'll tag @not-some-background-noise @miniaturecollectionwitchofsun @godfrey-the-chaos-duck @lettheladylead, but it's free for anyone...

1) Favorite character

Webby. I love how they managed to make her a lover of adventures and mysteries without sacrificing her femininity... she is also an eternal optimist and the heart of the family, and I love how she manages to help everyone around her in unique ways

2)Favorite triplet

Huey. I love his characterization and his arc (although every triplet is well written and I love them all)

3)Favorite villain

Magica De Spell: she isn't just voiced by the most important woman in the whole wide universe (I'm a whovian who started the series because of DT, imagine how happy I was when I discovered there was also Catherine Tate), but she is also a great villainess who is genuinely good at being bad in a way that everyone is always worried she is behind everything... I also have a soft spot for Mark Beaks because he is realistic in both a funny and a scary way

4)Favorite non canon ship

Weblena: I love the way Lena got saved from Webby and at the same time she had to do some work to save herself, while Webby was always there to support her... they have a beautiful dynamic together and even if they're not officially canon, they still are (Sam King said that)

5)Favorite canon ship

Fendra... I liked them in 'The Dangerous Chemistry of Gandra Dee' and I couldn't wait to see how their relationship could evolve only to find in 'Beaks in the Shell!' the cutest and most supportive lovestory ever! We need more male sunshine/female grumpy relationship in media and they were absolutely adorable (they deserved WAY more time together, but their canon interactions kinda make up for this due to their cuteness)

6)Favorite episode

'Nightmare on Killmotor Hill', I think. It's so visually creative with all the kids' dreams and it hits you right in the feels with Lena's arc... the finale is so powerful.

7)A character you came to like the more you knew them

Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera. I didn't know Lin Manuel Miranda back when season 1 aired, but by learning more about him I came to appreciate his character more, and by the end of the series he is probably one of my favorites

8)A theory that hadn't been canonized but you believe it as canon

Scrooge was actively searching for Donald although everybody believed he was on the cruise but he didn't want to warn both the kids and his twin sister (I wrote a whole meta about it back in the day if you're curious)

9)The one question you never stop to ask about

How Selene, THE GODDESS OF THE MOON, didn't know Della, (her possible former girlfriend?), was stuck on the Moon? She has powers over it, so why did she ignore it? Was her father fault? ANGONES, DT WRITERS, EXPLAIN TO ME PLEASE, IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS I KEEP TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT!

10)What would you have liked to see in the (cancelled) fourth season?

MAGICSTONE CANON, an eventual Magica's redemption without Lena forgiveness, THE TRIPLETS DAD (I know they didn't want to explore the character in order to highlight how Donald was basically their true dad, BUT... it would have been an interesting plot), Goldie's backstory, Hortense and Quackmore, more moments between Donald and Scrooge, Daisy bonding with the family, June and May finding their own place in it, more Fendra, more domestic Scroldie, BRIGITTA (I know the writers would have handled her well just as they did with Daisy), Scrooge and Webby adjusting their dynamic as father and daughter, more lore about Fenton's dad, the kids interacting all together...

Inspiration has come to me sharply, therefore, here is the relationship of the Duck-McDuck family to "feminine" things and etc.

Della Duck

SHE HATES wearing skirts, dresses and makeup.

She admits that all these things are cute and all that, but the maximum that she will allow herself from the "feminine" is only long hair.

She may be interested in something, but she doesn't see herself in it.

As a child, she was often naughty and changed clothes with Donald, which is why she often got a kick in the ass, especially from the ancestors of the McDucks and grandma Duck, but in the end they resigned themselves.

She is offended that she is primarily seen as a girl, and not a pilot and/or an adventurer.

She likes to admire something feminine, but not in terms of "I want it too"

"Wow, this girl is so beautiful..." "Yeah, I wonder where she got this dress?" “what? Oh, well. Uh."

Donald Duck

As always, Donald is the complete opposite for Della and he LOVES "feminine" things.

As a child, he almost never quarreled with Della, and if she said she wanted to change clothes, then he just shrugged and changed. When McDuck's grandparents and grandmother Duck scolded Della for looking "not like a girl," he never understood why they couldn't change clothes. Grandparents McDuck and Grandma Duck stopped after he asked Hortense why they couldn't change clothes.

In the emo phase, he mastered makeup and learned how to work with hair and even had a wig!

When he got older, he realized that he was a femboy (you can also say crossdresser) and, fearing condemnation and ridicule from the family and especially Scrooge, began a double life with the name Dolores NiPato

Growing up, he began to give up his second life more often in favor of his family, arguing for himself like this: "I am already an adult man, I need to stop"

During the ten-year breakup, he wore a long skirt so that the triplet ducklings could reach out and attract his attention, but when they grew up, he stopped, fearing that he would set a bad example

Huey Duck

It's hard for me to say anything about him. Everyone remembers him as a trans girl, but I do not know my exact opinion about this, so I have two of them:

1. He is indifferent to women's things and does not mind wearing pink according to his mood. He can wear skirts and dresses, but mostly when he realizes that he is actually half-naked and in the mood. He wants to grow his hair out to see how it will look with sideburns. He can learn to wear makeup to help his brothers.

2. Transfem, but tomboy with long hair.

Dewey Duck

Like Donald, he loves women's things very much! But unlike him, the duckling is not afraid to show it, because Donald tried all the time to show him that he is normal, different, but normal

Sometimes he receives jokes from Huey and Louie in the style of "Oh, my lady, you are so beautiful today!", but often does not understand that this is a joke and is sincerely embarrassed and rejoices at the compliments, which makes his brothers feel a little awkward

Some days, she dresses up with Webby in the same clothes because it's cool and thinks it seals their union as brother and sister

He always tries to join the bachelorette party or ask Lena to teach him how to make up (for Lena it's exhausting, so she taught Huey how to make up so that he could teach Dewey)

When he was at school and wearing a skirt, he was bullied, but he could often stand up for himself and/or he was protected by Huey and Louie

When Donald was called to school because of Dewey's "inappropriate appearance", he made such a scandal that the principal was very afraid of him and the duckling sometimes compared Uncle Donald with his mother in his thoughts

He likes to show off his images and outfits in front of Della, even if they are stupid. Della loves them all. "YES! YES, BABY! THIS IS MY BOY! SHOW ME THE EMOTIONS!"

Louie Duck

He mostly doesn't care about clothes, he only wears something comfortable and/or expensive

Sometimes he may wear makeup, but he is mostly lazy

He loves different rings and bracelets, but he has almost no sense of style, so he had to be taught how to wear jewelry correctly

Will destroy your life if you say even one bad word about his femboy brother (and trans sister)

Webby Vanderquack

Just a girl🥰💕

Sincerely does not understand why pink is only for girls

She gets offended and angry when they call her "childish" because of her favorite color

Curse your soul to eternal torment in Hell for your words about Dewey and Holly (name for trans Huey)💀😈

Scrooge McDuck

Just an old man sticking to the old rules

Ducktales Crew in spacesuits in space on the Moon - Ducktales kids, teenagers and adults on the Moon - Happy Moon Landing and Happy Independence Day of the USA - Gift for my friend - Ducktales in Space (Ducktales AU) - Tribute to Ducktales 2017

Although I already drew Ducktales characters in spacesuits on the moon last year, still because of Landing Moon Day which is held on July 20th every year and this year is the 55th anniversary of human walking on the moon, I drew somehow a similar drawing, in my own way, in my own style where the Ducktales characters are on the moon in spacesuits.

Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins who led the Apollo 11 crew in the Saturn V rocket from July 16 to July 24, 1969, with July 20 and 21 being Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon and were the first people to walk on the moon and brought great pride to the USA and to all mankind. July 20 and 21, 1969 were the significant dates when people were on the moon for the first time. And those are the days of Moon Landing. After the crew of Apollo 11, the crew members of Apollo 12-17 will go and walk on the moon, until 1972, except for Apollo 13. Unfortunately, after more than 50 years, people reportedly did not go to the moon due to numerous problems with the construction of further rockets, but lately there is a race to the moon again, so maybe in the near future people will go to the moon again, unless they are faking it. Space travel is back in fashion. And 55 years have passed since the first walk on the moon.

I didn't manage to draw Ducktales characters from head to toe in spacesuits, but certainly the special way I imagine Ducktales 2017 is that they wear spacesuits like Sandy Cheeks from Sponge Bob, I just reshaped it in my own way and these suits can be used and for traveling under water, in volcanic regions and protection against pandemics. Yes, they wear bubble helmets, which are actually glass-proof. Della Duck is driving a lunar rover, like the first astronauts who walked on the moon, and Dewey is holding a banner of the USA flag from where he came from (although it has passed, I certainly dedicate this drawing to Independence Day for my American friends, which is celebrated every 4th July), Huey and Gosalyn hold a banner that reads: "We are the first ducklings on The Moon. One small step for ducklings, one big step for ducks!" If you understand this sentence. ;) And Louie Duck is filming this momentous event with his friends and family on his cell phone. Yes, these boys are wearing backwards baseball caps, since that's kind of how I prefer it in my version of Ducktales 2017 and the Quack Pack Reboot. And Donald and Daisy are here together as they love each other.

My name is Izzy, and I'm Donald Duck's niece. I'm 6 years older than my brothers Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and we all grew up together on the houseboat. My brothers are incredibly mischevious and are always causing trouble, so they can never be left alone, but Uncle Donald almost never lets me babysit them. One day, he brings us to meet our Uncle Scrooge, the richest duck in the world! He seems vaguely familiar, almost like I've seen him before, but that can't be possible. I've never seen him on TV, so where could I have possibly seen him before?

Louie reluctantly stands next to me instead of going inside to start the houseboat like he wanted, and Mrs. Beakley exclaims, "Magica DeSpell!"

Dewey asks, "Wait, who?"

I ask, "You've never heard of her? She had some kind of weird grudge against Uncle Scrooge and all of Clan McDuck, and she was his strongest adversary."

Webby adds, "But no one's seen her since they fought on Mt. Vesuvius 15 years ago."

Huey asks, "Hold on a minute. If she disappeared 15 years ago, and you're 16, how did you hear about her, Izzy?"

I respond, "Uncle Scrooge told me about her when I was little, but he never told me how he defeated her, just that Id never have to worry about her."

Mrs. Beakley says, "Alright, all. Cool heads. We must help Scrooge before anything else-"

A giant seaweed creature pulls itself onto the houseboat, and Louie shoves Huey and Dewey toward it, exclaiming, "Take my brothers first, please!"

The creature then pulls the seaweed off of itself, revealing the headless Man horse that Gyro nicknamed Manny and took as his newest lab assistant.

I breath a sigh of relief, and Uncle Donald says, "Oh."

Huey adds joyfully, "It's just Manny!"

Gyro pulls himself onto the houseboat as well, Lil Bulb on his shoulder as they both shake water out of themselves, Gyro shaking his hat and Lil Bulb twisting his lightbulb head off and dumping the water out befote putting it back on.

Gyro exclaims angrily, "That's it! No more underwater labs. It's volcanoes or abandoned castles from now on!"

Huey asks, "Dr. Gearloose? What happened?"

Gyro explains, "Our own shadows came to life and wrecked the lab!" Huey opens his mouth to say something, but Gyro shushes him, saying, "Ah bah bah, my Shadow Control Ray is still in the test phase, so this one is not on me."

I ask, "I'm sorry, you were working on what?"

Gyro responds, "A Shadow Control Ray. Keep up, orange niece."

I snarl a bit before responding, "We never thought it was you anyways. Magica DeSpell is back, and she's taken everyone's shadows."

I gesture out at the shadow vortex above the Money Bin, and Gyro gapes at it in surprise.

Uncle Donald stands atop the houseboat's railing, announcing, "Everybody listen up!"

He then says something I couldn't understand. I can usually understand his speech, but that one was just too much gibberish.

We all ask in confusion, "What?"

Launchpad adds, "Did anyone get any of that?"

I respond, "Most of the time I understand him, but not this time.

Huey adds, "It's mostly context clues."

Louie adds, "We get, like, every third word."

Dewey adds, "Nope, completely unintelligible."

Uncle Donald chases after him, angrily exclaiming, "I'll show you unintelligible!"

After watching Uncle Donald squawking at Dewey and chasing him for a moment, Gyro groans, saying, "Ugh, I don't have time for this." He pulls out a small, pill-shaped device, explaining, "The Barksian Modulator, able to translate neural impulses into sonic transmissions."

We all look at him in confusion, and Launchpad asks, "Huh?"

I say, "In layman's terms, please? You're speaking to a bunch of kids and non-scientists."

Gyro sighs and rolls his eyes before saying, "It's a voicebox."

Huey says, "Oh, okay, Barksian Modulator."

Dewey adds, "Oh, okay."

Louie adds, "Yeah, good idea."

I add, "About dang time someone made that."

Webby asks, "What took you so long?"

Launchpad adds, "Huh."

Gyro grabs Uncle Donald and places the Barksian Modulator in his mouth before massaging his throat to ease it down.

Uncle Donald shoves him away, exclaiming, "Get your hands off of me-" His voice changes into a more normal one, "You mad scientist!"

Dewey says, "Wow. He sounds so... normal."

I add, "It's a little unsettling to hear him like that."

Uncle Donald says, getting faster as he repeats it, "Rubber baby buggy bumpers. Rubber baby buggy bumpers. Rubber baby buggy bumpers, aha! Wow, never been able to say that before!" He clear his throat, then says, "As I was saying, Uncle Scrooge is in trouble, and it's up to us to help him. Adventure is in our blood. We face down perilous foes and endless dangers every day, but we always prevail, because these Ducks don't back down."

Mrs. Beakley says, "Thank you, Donald. Now, we need to-"

Uncle Donald interrupts her, saying, "Stage a coordinated attack. Gyro, you and your team charge the bridge to distract Magica's shadow forces."

Gyro nods, pulling out what I assume to be his Shadow Control Ray.

Uncle Donald continues, "Launchpad, head up the air attack to draw her attention. Do you think you can crash into the Bin?" We all laugh at that, and Uncle Donald says, "Alright, alright, alright." He clears his throat again, finishing, "And Beakley, while the others are distracting Magica, you and I will sneak around back in my newly fixed-up houseboat."

Mrs. Beakley blinks a few times before saying in shock, "That is... actually very close to what I was going to say.

Dewey says, gesturing to himself, the other kids, and me, "And we-"

Uncle Donald puts us all in life vests and makes us walk onto the dock, saying, "Will stay here and out of danger, especially you, Izzy. I can't let you get hurt again."

Webby exclaims, "Oh, come on!"

I add, "Seriously?! I'm fine, Uncle Donald!"

Dewey says, "But-"

Uncle Donald interrupts him again, saying, "This isn't an adventure. This is Magica DeSpell. Under no circumstances are you kids to come to the Bin. Do you understand?"

Webby says, "Yes."

My brothers and I say at the same time, "Yes, Uncle Donald."

The second the houseboat is out of earshot, we yank off our life vests, and Dewey asks, "So were totally sneaking into the Money Bin, right?"

Huey adds, "But how are we going to take on an entire shadow army?"

I say, "Ugh, if only Gyro gave us one of his Shadow Ray things. That'd make things so much easier."

Dewey says defiantly, "The Ducks don't back down. Now, if only we knew someone with experience breaking into places."

Webby asks, giving me a coy smile, "You mean like a noble teen ne'er-do-well who can break into anything, including a certain someone's heart?"

Dewey says, "Yeah, that'd be great."

Webby, Huey, and I give him a moment before exclaiming, "Lena!"

Louie adds, "It's Lena!"

Dewey says, "Lena, right. I was gonna say Lena. Great."

We make our way to the amphitheater where Webby and I met Lena and where she always asks to be dropped off after hanging out, and Dewey calls out, "Yo, Lena!"

I add, "Lena! We need your help!"

Webby asks, "Where are you?"

I ask, frightened at the possibility, "What if she was taken by the shadow people? I don't know what Id do without my best friend."

Webby whispers with a knowing smirk, "Are you sure she's only a friend?"

I blush at her teasing, and playfully shove her away as Dewey says, "Izzy, don't lose faith. Remember, Ducks don't back..." He strikes a heroic pose, his foot activating a hidden door that opens toward us, and Dewey finishes in confusion, "Down?"

We enter the secret room, which seems to have been renovated from a theatre storage room into a small, rundown bedroom, but nobody's in sight.

Huey asks, "Is this where Lena lives?"

Louie adds, "Ugh, explains why she's always sleeping over at our house."

I say, "Well, this is where she asks to get dropped off. I just thought it was because she lived nearby and didn't want us to drop her off directly at her house. I guess not."

I feel a pang of guilt in my chest at her living like this. She doesn't even have a bathroom or kitchen, and there's no parents or relatives in sight! Where's that aunt she was talking about a few weeks ago when we snuck into the Other Bin?

Webby calls out, "Lena? Sorry to barge in unannounced!"

I say, "She's not here."

Huey says doubtfully, "Maybe she's hiding?"

I ask, "Why would she hide from us?"

Dewey grabs something off of a small dresser, exclaiming, "A journal!"

He opens it, but Webby snatches it away from him, saying, "You can't read her journal! Although, if she were taken, she might have left a note." She skims the first page, then exclaims, "A poem! I didn't know she wrote poetry!"

I smile, saying, "Is there anything Lena can't do?" Webby raises an eyebrow at me with a smile on her face, and I say nervously, "J- just read the stupid thing."

Webby clears her throat, reading, "'To endthe line of Clan McDuck, she sought a token of their luck. And with the eclipse in its prime, she'd trap old Scrooge within his Dime. But Scrooge reversed her vengeance planned, and in his Dime the witch did land. Yet as he struck the final blow, she cast a spy from her shadow. I walk the Earth and vwield her power, to bring about McDuck's last hour'."

Louie exclaims, "Lena was Magica's spy?!"

Huey adds, "Lena is a shadow?"

Webby says, "She betrayed us all to free Magica."

I add quietly, "She was never our friend."

I can't believe I had a stupid crush a shadow. How do I know if any of it was real? She was probably just faking it to get to Uncle Scrooge's Dime. She used me, and discarded us when we weren't useful anymore.

I sniffle, and Dewey places a hand on my shoulder, saying, "You might not have her, but you still have us. We're family, and Ducks dont-"

Webby shoves him, saying, "Save it."

Dewey bumps into Huey, who pulls at the curtain on the wall to keep himself from falling, revealing something painted on the wall with spray paint.

He says, "Uh, guys? Check this out. Magica used the power of the eclipse to escape Scrooge's Dime."

Louie adds, "Only to trap him there instead."

I add, "Just like she was planning to do 15 years ago."

Dewey says, "We have to get to that Dime and save Scrooge ourselves, and I know just how to Dewey it."

We find a nearby empty store, the workers likely having fled after their shadows came to life, and Dewey chucks a fist-sized rock into the store's floor-to-ceiling windows, the window breaking into small glass bits on the floor. He and Louie rush inside and grab 4 child-sized scubasuits and a teen-sized scubasuit for me.

I ask, "Shouldn't we at least pay them something?"

Louie rolls his eyes and walks back inside, writing out an IOU via McDuck Enterprises and placing it next to the counter before sauntering out with a confident smirk on his face.

I ask, "Where did you learn to write IOU's?"

Louie shrugs, saying, "Launchpad told me he's done it countless times to pay for damages when he crashes."

I deadpan, "You done this before, haven't you?"

Louie looks nervous as he responds, "You don't want an answer to that."

I glare at him the whole way back to the amphitheater. We put on our new scubasuits over our clothes and dive into the water, swimming our way to the Bin. I have to hold onto Webby while she swims because I have to hold onto my crutch to bring it with us, and otherwise I'd only be swimming with one leg.

We finally emerge inside the flooded elevator, and as we're taking off our scuba gear, Louie holds up his Khopesh, saying with mock surprise, "Look what I found!" We all glare at him, and he says, "What? We like Scrooge again! Ugh, whatever. Get your own Khopesh."

Dewey says, "Elevator's busted. How are we going to get to the Bin entrance on the top floor?"

We have to take the stairs like that time Louie spent Uncle Scrooge's fake Dime and we were chased by Lil Bulb. Louie groans in frustration at having to take the stairs again. I have to go one at a time, the others quickly getting ahead of Louie and I. After over a dozen floors, we're all exhausted, but we're only a few floors from the top.

Dewey pants, "So... close..."

Huey groans, and Louie says, "Ugh, Louie... out."

He collapses forward, but his shadow is still standing. Wait, his shadow?

Huey asks, "Um, guys? When did our shadows come back?"

As soon as he says that, our shadows attack, mine putting me in a chokehold. I try to smack it with my crutch, but my vision is starting to darken, and I feel myself getting faint.

I'm unable to sputter out any words, and Webby exclaims, "Cut the lights so we won't cast shadows!"

I headbutt my shadow with the back of my head and it lets go. As I suck in a much-needed breath, I reach for Louie's Khopesh. The second I've got it in hand, I slash through my shadow, then toss it at the powerbox. The lights cut out, leaving us in almost complete darkness.

Huey exclaims fearfully, "Now we can't see!"

Webby says as she puts on her night-vision goggles, "I can."

Dewey says, "Everyone holds hands and form a chain behind Webby!"

I grab Louie's hand, and he grabs Huey's other hand before saying, "Ew! Huey, your hands are clammy."

Dewey says, "C'mon, guys. Ducks don't back down!"

Huey exclaims angrily, "I literally never heard that family motto before today!"

After a few more floors, Louie says, "Ugh, we're never going to find Scrooge's office."

Webby opens a door, and I blink a few times to adjust to finally being able to see as Dewey exclaims, "I found Scrooge's office!" Shadows appear as he says that, and he says, "Okay, maybe we should've listened to-"

Our uncle appears in the crowd of shadows.

I exclaim, "Uncle Donald?!"

He exclaims while fighting some shadows, "Get away from my kids!"

The shadows back off for a short while, and he glares at us with anger is his eyes.

Louie exclaims, "We can explain!"

The fire in Uncle Donald's eyes die down, and he says, "Please. I told you not to come, so of course you showed up just when I need you."

Louie says, "Classic reverse psychology. I feel like I should've seen that coming."

Uncle Donald ushers us into the Money Bin's vault, saying, "Go save your Uncle. I'll keep these palookas at bay. Ducks don't back down."

He shuts the vault door behind us, and Dewey says, "See? I told you it's a thing."

Huey says, "It's cooler when he says it."

I say, "Especially with his cool, new voice."

We climb down the ladder to the pile of money at the bottom, and I hear Magica say, "Oh, look! Children." She holds up Uncle Scrooge's Dime, his face now engraved in it, and she asks, "Looking for this? Come and get it."

She laughs maniacally, and Dewey exclaims, "Give us back our uncle!"

I add, "Yeah, you evil witch! Give him back!"

Magica says with mock sincerity, "Oh, he's trapped forever inside the thing he loves most. Sorry."

Magica launches a beam of purple magic at us, and Webby yells, "Split up!"

Huey exclaims, "Then what?!"

Dewey says, "Do what we do best. Make trouble."

I hide behind a pile of money, waiting for an opportunity to grab the Dime from her, and sign at Huey to make a distraction.

He nods, popping up in front of Magica, saying, "Hey, couple questions for you. If you were caught in the Dime, how come we never saw you? Also, Scrooge isn't exactly magical, so how did he manage to trap you in- Ah!" She tries to blast him with magic, but he dodges and pops up next to her in front of a mirror, adding, "Follow up, how does the lunar eclipse factor into this?"

Magica starts to answer, "Well, you see, I channel my powers-" She has a look of realization,then anger as she exclaims, "It's just magic, okay?!"

She tries to blast Huey again, but he dodges and she breaks a mirror.

Louie appears behind the mirror now that's it broken, and he exclaims, "Oh no, you broke the Mirror of Taiki!"

Magica asks, "The what now?!"

Louie responds like the answer is obvious, "Ancient artifact? Terrible curse if you break it?"

Magica responds, "I've never heard of it, and I am versed in all magics." Louie swims just under the surface of the gold coins as she fires magic blasts at him with each word, "Garlic! Demogorgan! Sumerian!"

Louie resurfaces, asking, "Sumerian? You were in that Dime a long time." He chuckles, adding, "Well, good luck with the curse!"

He starts walking away until Magica asks worriedly, "What kind of curse?!"

Louie lists off, "Grave misfortune, increased gullibility, a swift kick in the ribs!"

Magica asks, "A what?" Webby jumps, kicking Magica hard in the ribs as she exclaims, "My ribs!"

Webby growls, and I emerge from my hiding spot, smacking Magica in the back as hard as I can with my crutch.

Magica says, "Ooh, someone's mad."

Webby goes crazy, attacking Magica in a frenzy as she's barely able to fend her off with a shield.

Webby exclaims while fighting, "I just got a family! I thought I had a best friend in Lena! And you took that all away!"

I add, sweeping Magica's legs out from under her with my crutch, "You're just a giant jerk! You're a horrible person!"

Magica says as she uses her magic to float above us, "Lena couldn't be your friend because she was never real!"

A tear rolls down my cheek, and Webby says, "I don't believe you."

Magica floats back down, saying, "You had sleepovers with a shadow. You gave it a friendship bracelet!" She gestures at me, adding, "This one even developed a silly crush on it! Honestly, it's embarrassing how pathetic you all were. Here, let me put you out of your misery!"

Magica aims a magic blast at Webby and I, and I attempt to shield Webby with my back, but when I don't feel anything, I turn around, seeing a magic barrier around us.

I ask, "Huh?"

My shadow stretches toward Magica's shadow, then takes Lena's shape. Lena attacks Magica, exclaiming, "Get away from my best friends, Aunt Magica!"

Webby and I ask, "Lena?"

Magica exclaims, "Aunt? You're even worse than them! You aren't my family, you are nothing!"

She blasts Lena with her magic, and she disintegrates while we hear her screams fade away.

Webby exclaims, "No!"

I add, "Lena!"

We both tear up, and Webby stands up, becoming even more frenzied in her attacks against Magica. Dewey slides underneath, sneaking past Magica's shield and grabbing the Dime from her.

He exclaims, "Got it!"

Magica exclaims, "Hey!"

Webby breaks through her shield, tugging on Magica's hair. I hit her again a few more times with my crutch while Dewey hides behind a money pile, talking to Uncle Scrooge in the Dime. The money pile he's hiding behind gets blasted, and he exclaims, "Gah! Okay, not the time for a heart-to-heart!"

He exits the safety of the money pile, and Magica exclaims, "That's mine!"

She blasts at him with magic, but the Dime seems to be absorbing the blast, Uncle Scrooge popping out of it.

He exclaims, "Yah! Thanks, lad. Way to dispell your own spell, DeSpell! You know, I ought to thank you."

Magica asks, "For showing you how weak and pathetic you truly are? You're welcome!"

She tries to blast him, but he dodges, then says, "If you hadn't attacked me,my family may well have left forever. By trying to destroy me, you sort of saved my family."

Magica exclaims, "That's not what happened!"

She tries to blast him again, but Uncle Scrooge uses his cane to put a teapot in the way. It breaks, and he uses his cane to throw her magic staff into the air.

Uncle Donald tries to grab it from the diving board above, exclaiming, "I got it!"

He misses it, falling onto the money pile below. The staff falls onto his head, the gem on top cracking. Magica floats into the air, magic expelling from her mouth and arms, leaving her once green feathers white. She tries to use her hands to send a magic blast at Uncle Scrooge but nothing happens.

She exclaims, "My power's! They're gone! You ruin everything!"

Launchpad yells from far above, "Sorry to crash the party!" He lands directly on top of Magica, then says, "Huh, never crashed a 'me' before."

Magica shoves him off of her, exclaiming, "Curse you McDuck! You haven't seen the last of me!"

She throws a smoke bomb on the ground and nearly gets away before it disappates, but she slips, falling onto the gold before continuing to run away.

We all cheer, and Mrs. Beakley exclaims, "Good show!"

Uncle Donald adds, "Woohoo! We did it!"

Mrs. Beakley says, "We sure did. Now, about your boat."

Dewey exclaims, "Haha, yeah!"

Amidst the cheering around us, Webby and I are pouting.

Webby says, "Lena's... gone."

Huey says, "But she sacrificed herself to save you guys."

I smile a little, saying, "I guess she really was our best friend."

Dewey grabs my hand, gesturing to my friendship bracelet as he says, "She'll always be with you."

I smile, pulling him into a hug. He hugs me back, and Uncle Scrooge approaches us.

He says, "Huey, Louie, the third one, Izzy." He pretends to be disappointed before scooping us all into a hug, saying, "Curse me kilts, have I missed you!"

I chuckle, saying, "I missed you too, Uncle Scrooge."

Uncle Donald smiles, saying, "Family truly is the greatest-"

He starts coughing, and lands on all fours, cough out the Barksian Modulator like a cat coughs out a hairball.

We all make sound soft disgust, and Uncle Scrooge used the tip of his cane to hide the Barksian Modulator under some gold coins before asking, "Anyone up for a midnight swim?"

We all get in the gold coins, tossing some up into the air like confetti. Launchpad emerges from the gold, exclaiming, "Bleh! Don't drink this water!"

Soon after, Roxanne Featherly approaches the Bin and covers the story, ending with, "And so Duckburg is saved, thanks to Scrooge McDuck and his family!"

We go back home, Launchpad putting the house oat back in the pool where it belongs, and my brothers and I moving back into the mansion. Once my stuff is back in my room, I flop down onto my bed,breathing a sigh of relief. I finally feel at home here, and there's no more secrets between us. Our future is looking bright. I just wish Lena didn't have to lose her life in the process.

Scrooge: Ah yes the Crowley of Ducktales in terms of funky gender and David Tennant-ness. For a while I’ve been a fan of bisexual trans man Scrooge (before season 3 even aired) but I’m also toying around with him being some flavor of multigender

Donald: Bi trans man. This is real to me

Della: Lesbian who uses she/they pronouns, I haven’t decided on an exact headcanon for her gender wise

Huey: I actually don’t have a definitive headcanon for Huey tbh. There’s barely a headcanon out there for him I wouldn’t like

Dewey: I refuse to believe this kid conforms to gender roles no matter what. He is aro to me and I think he genuinely would describe his gender using his name

Louie: Gay trans boy who uses he/they. Something about wearing hoodies all the time is trans as hell

Webby: Lesbian 100%

Beakley: Also a lesbian and definitely had something going on with Black Heron

Fethry: Bi and idk about specifics in gender but probably uses they/he/she (also Gladstone is not on here because I genuinely lean towards him being cishet, sorry Gladstone)

Lena: Nonbinary lesbian whose gender is [shrug]

Violet: Trans girl but really hasn’t even thought about who she might like, it just hasn’t come up

Gyro: I’ve said it a million times but not even canon itself could convince me he isn’t a gay trans man on the aroace spectrum

Boyd: A definitely real boy. (I don’t have a definitive headcanon for him but Astro Boyd is such a trans episode to me)

Fenton: As said earlier, bisexual and uses he/they

Gandra: If you ask Gandra’s gender she’ll probably say “What are you, a cop?” (Bisexual and uses they/she but does not label gender other than ‘sure as hell not cis’)

Drake: Same as Gyro minus the aroace part (Launchpad is not on here due to canonically being pan and me not having a definitive headcanon on whether he is cis or trans, so putting him here would be a bit redundant)

Gosalyn: To me DT17 Gosalyn feels like she either is in or is about to experience a gender crisis, probably ends up describing herself the same way as Lena

José: Bi and stupid (affectionate)

Panchito: Gay (you can’t fool me, og caballeros movie) trans man. I feel this one in my bones for every version of him ever

Daisy: Bisexual trans woman

So, today it's the 4th anniversary of the Ducktales episode "Treasure of the Found Lamp!" which means that it's Faris D'jinn birthday. Wo-hoo!

And yes, I'm still keeping the tradition of celebrating it because it's fun and his episode was one of the best. Plus, Zan Owlson made it to the new Darkwing Duck comic as the mayor of St. Canard, so that could mean more minor characters from Dt 2017 could return.

Crossing fingers that in the new DT or DWD media D'jinn and Gene will meet.

Anyway, this time I give to you a fanfic I made after the show ended in the times of... March 2021.

HOLY- it's been that long? Wow

Moving on, since I (for some reason I still don't know) only wrote the middle part and the end of the fanfic, I'm going to give you context of the beggining.

Basically it's set just after Bradford's defeat.

The main ducks and company encounter D'jinn who seems to be looking for someone. Webby is very curious about how D'jinn was captured by F.O.W.L. since he is a very skilled fighter and because she said "I wish to know" a certain magical brown duck appears and after an impressive presentation, he makes appear a giant screen as it shows how the warrior was captured.

There was no big fight or resistance, just something similar to what happened to Donald and Della in the final episode. He saw baby Jeeves and went "Awww, a baby" before being blasted by the Phantom Blot, knocking him out. Then Rockerduck picked his tiny assistant and Pepper said "that was very easy" as they left the scene.

Everyone was stunned, specially D'jinn. It was after he heard a few mocking laughs coming from the villains that still were there and also realising that EVERYONE who was captured by F.O.W.L. saw it as well (they even got popcorn!) that he became very dismayed and shouted at Gene as to why did he do that.

Just as Gene started to realize what he has done, Lena standed between them and looked like she was ready to defend the genie by fighting Faris.

When Webby and the boys tried to calm the situation, May and June joined Lena and said to D'jinn every bad thing the agents of F.O.W.L. (specially Bradford) told them about him, in front of the recently-free people no less, making some people gasp and some villains nod their heads in approval.

After hearing those horrible things, Faris runs away in shame not for the recent screening of his lame capture, but for the false accusations.

Scrooge and company had to calm down the people and tell them the truth: That a lot of things F.O.W.L. said about them were lies and could not be trusted. Of course the evil agents told the female ducklings many lies about the ones they captured like Gyro, Boyd, Fenton, Penumbra, the Three Caballeros, Storkules, etc.

After things became clear, Gene decides to seach for D'jinn, because the warrior needs an apology and he didn't deserve the way he was treated recently. He finally founds him and that's when the story begins.

In this fanfic, the bond between Gene and his lamp was broken thank to the Phantom Blot's glove and somehow D'jinn knows about the Blot's backstory and that Gene had previous awful masters (I said "somehow" because there was actually an explanation for this but since I wrote this fanfic more than two years ago I can't remember all the details)

Now, after everything was said, let's begin with the story!

"Hey, there you are!" Said the genie while he appeared behind Faris. "Look, I'm so sorry for what happened. I didn't want to humilliate you, I just..."

"It is fine" said D'jinn in a calm tone "You just wanted to help the friend of the girl who freed you. I am the one who has to apologize"

"Wait... really?" The magical duck said in a confused tone.

"Yes, I should not have scream at you. Is just... I get too intense sometimes you know. Even the Ducks tried to get rid of me the day I arrived in their home"

"Yeaaaaah, maybe destroying things in their living room and saying you will tear their house apart wasn't the best character introduction"

"Wait, how did you know I said that?"

"Oh, it's easy, F.O.W.L. has like hundreds of hidden cameras in the mansion and all Duckburg. That is without mentioning the cameras they have around the world."

"Really?" The warrior asked in disbelief.

The duck made appear an ottoman for two persons and when they sat down, he kept talking.

"Yes, I saw a lot of recordings while imprisioned in the Blot's glove. Seriously, they could make a whole show with the content they have. They have so many Duck tales. But, returning to what you said, I don't think they wanted to get rid of you, they were only a little..."

"Scared, I know" said D'jinn in a worried tone "Like I said before, I get too intense sometimes, I saw how some people in my homeland tried to get away from me when I got too passionate about something."

Gene, was surprised to hear that, so he said in a concerned tone "Tell me more"

The warrior was uncertain for a moment, but then started to talk.

"When I was young, a little wolf kid from my homeland found a scroll I nearly lost at a bazaar and started drawing on it. I took the scroll and called him a thief... in a tone that made me sound very upset. The little one said in tears that he just found it on the ground. Before I could say sorry, his mother came and hug her kid. The father appeared and started screaming that this is the reason of why I do not have a wife or children and that if I ever have them, they will run away from me just like everyone. He said that so loud that all the people there was staring at us. I saw their faces and some of them agreed in silence, others even nodded"

"They just don't know you are very dramatic, that's all" said the duck trying to confort the canine.

"I never saw that wolf family again, but the words of the father appear in my mind everytime I think of having descendants. Sometimes I feel it will never leave. Maybe he is right..." D'jinn said in a resigned tone "And it is the best for everyone if I never become a parent"

"What are you saying!?" Exclaimed Gene while he began to float "The world would a better place if NO... WHEN you become a father.

"But I-"

"Shush my poor, confused arabian warrior and let me finish" the duck said while transforming the canine's mouth into a closed zip. D'jinn was not amused.

"You have to understand that, yes... you are intense, somewhat hot tempered and not prone to smiling but that doesn't define who you really are. Believe me, I had masters who seemed friendly on the outside and were wicked on the inside. Plus there are many aspects that define a character and let me tell you, what I saw about you is extraordinary."

The canine looked up at the Genie while crossing his arms as if saying "Like what?"

"Well for starters, you have a passion for life and journeys, are a great artist, you respect your opponents, are very good at riddles but most importantly... you are a loyal friend and ally, you would do anything to keep your loved ones safe and know family is the greatest treasure of all. Those aspects made you who you are now, Faris D'jinn"

The adventurer looked at Gene with wide eyes. He unzapped his mouth that returned back to normal and said in a quiet, hopeful voice:

"Is that true?"

"Yes, it is! Just look at Donald. The duck has a temper but that doesn't define who he is. He's a great father to the ducklings, a brave adventurer and many other things! Now tell me..." The brown duck began asking "When you said you looked everywhere in the Lost Library for the Phantom Blot to free me... you really mean it?"

"Of course I mean it. You were prisioner of a still grievering man who reflected his loss in the form of hate towards magical creatures. It was just matter of time before he decided to get rid of you."

"I mean, that could have been a very epic and memorable battle."

"Yes, it could" Faris said while nodding "But now that I know what are the reasons behind his awful actions, I wish I could help him. Nobody deserves losing his family and people"

At that moment Gene smiled widely, changed his clothes to a suit, made appear a microphone and gave D'jinn a trophy that has the words "#1 best boy"

"Faris D'jinn ladies and gentlemen" the genie said looking at the 4th wall "the most underrated character of all time!"

To say the warrior was flustered at the duck's words is an understandment.

"Come on Gene, stop it" said D'jinn laughing in an awkward manner. The genie laughed too.

"Um, excuse us... is this a bad moment?"

The pair turned around to see two ducklings with yellow and cian outfits, a tall teenage female duck, a violet sabrewing and their best friend, Webby.

Gene changed back to his original clothes and made the microphone and trophy dissapear.

"We wanted to say sorry" said Lena "I just fought a tall, dark and dramatic man. I guess I'm just wary of that kind of people, but you are different. Webby really admires you"

"Yeah, we are sorry too" said June to the canine "We shouldn't have said those things that F.O.W.L. told us about you"

"After all, those people were going to kill us anyway" said May bitterly "You can't trust the words of supervillians"

"It is fine little ones" said Faris in a friendly and calm voice "No need to say sorry, you wanted to protect Webby. She is so lucky to have you"

"Woah" said June while her eyes were growing bigger and had sparks in them "You are really nice, just like that time you explained your family's story to the Ducks. Webby told us"

"Yes" said May admiring the arabian adventurer too "And you are really good at fighting monsters, aliens and Beagle Boys! ...I mean, we can do that too but not many people can"

"No wonder you have his photo in your big family board" said June while elbowing Webby. The girl with the pink bow nodded happily...

"Wait" said Faris "What family board?"

...before realizing what has been said.

"Nothing!" Exclaimed Webby "Just some information I was collecting from everyone"

"Yeah" said June "Everyone you consider family"

May showed D'jinn a photo she took of the board back in Mcduck's Mansion. "See Mr. D'jinn? You are here in the corner celebrating your birthday, next to you is Amunet"

"I see" said the warrior "But why am I there?"

"Like June said" Lena began to explain "This is a board consisting on people Webby considers family not by blood, but by love. The villains are only there because they are part of her life too... and one of them is my aunt" she said the last part a little ashamed.

"Come on girls" said Webby "It's not like I would LOVE for an amazing and skilled middle eastern warrior with a heart of gold who is very wise about life to be my uncle, because that would be very crazy" she laughed in an awkward manner "...right?"

The canine was a little dissapointed.

"Yeah, right. I guess I should..."

Suddenly he felt someone tug at his turban.

"Dude! That was a trick question! Of course she would love for you to be her honorary uncle!"

"First of all..." said Faris while making a signal with one hand "Stop. Pulling. My. Turban"

The genie was taken aback when he saw the warrior's face and instead of being angry he was very uncomfortable. Then he realized that he was still pulling the piece of clothing. Gene stopped doing it and float away a little.

"Woah! Sorry, sorry. It was not my intention!"

"Alright, and second..." the canine said while kneeling down to be more close to the height of the girls. "Webbigail Vanderquack, do you really want for me to be your uncle?"

"Yes! I do... but only if you want to be part of my family..." the duckling said while playing with her fingers "...but that would mean being in danger if people from other planets come to invade Earth or the possibility of getting kidnapped by another evil organization, so I'm sure the answer is-"

"YES!" D'jinn said looking at Webby with wide, overjoyed eyes while having a big smile on his face. Then he held her, stood up and began to spin with joy "I will be your uncle! It is my greatest honor!"

Webby was surprised, after procesing for a second what the warrior said, she screamed "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! YAY!"

May and June hug each other, jumped and screamed in joy like fangirls in a concert while Lena and Violet smiled, looked at each other and made a sisterly fist bump.

Gene was overjoyed too. He began to spin in the air while releasing fireworks.

"I really love the found family trope! Shabooey!"

"This is amazing! First Scrooge is my dad and now you are my uncle! Best. Week. EVER!"

Everyone was having a great time when a very familiar Moonlander ran towards them.

"There you are small Della, other small Dellas, tall Della and purple Della" said Penumbra "your family is looking for you, they are worried you get lost, especialy the old duck"

"We are fine Penny" said Webby now walking towards her "we were talking with D'jinn, he will protect us if anything happens"

"I see" both the moon and earth warriors looked at each other with respect. Penumbra made a warrior greeting "It is an honor to finally meet you, Earth D'jinn"

The mentioned made a similar greeting, being serious like always "The honor is mine, Moon Penumbra"

Both turned around when they heard a muffled laugh coming from the teenager duck.

"Sorry" said Lena "I will be right there" she pointed to the left and walked while muttering "...dorks"

The warriors were quiet for a moment, confused at being called that, then Penumbra broke the silence.

"Now that I found you, I can inform the ducks about your location"

"We will come with you in a moment" said Webby.

"Alright then" said the moonlander while looking at Faris again, exchanging one last look of respect and understandment. Then looked at his left and saw the genie floating, smiling and waving at her.

She did a double take and began muttering to herself while walking away "Ducks can fly? Well, the ducks who don't speak or wear clothes can, but apparently the sentient ones can too? I had to ask Della about that"

The girls began to follow Penumbra, but Webby turned around to see the canine and spoke in arabic:

"(See you soon, uncle)"

"(See you soon dear niece, may Allah bless you in your journey)"

Webby smiled widely. She, May and June squealed while walking to find their family.

"He sounds so good in arabic!" Said June.

"I know right?" Said May "I wish I could speak the language. Sounds very friendly"

Gene nodded "Yep, they are Webby's clones alright"

Before speaking another word, a cough was heard. Both looked down to see the violet sabrewing, who was silent even since the girls came to them, staring at them. Then she spoke in arabic too.

"(Let me guess, you really don't understand social cues while interacting with people and that make them think you are weird)"

"(Now that you mentioned, yes. That is right)"

"(Relatable)"

"(It is?)"

"(Very much)"

"(I am sorry)"

"(Don't worry, I'm fine. My family and friends remind me how everyone is special and different)"

After she said that, she began to follow her sisters. Faris smiled warmly and said:

"You are a very wise girl... what is your name?"

The girl turned around to see the warrior in the eyes, then made a little bow. "My name is Violet Apollonia Sabrewing"

The canine bowed too. "I am Faris D'jinn"

"I know" said the girl with a little smile.

"Violet, come on. We have to get to the Sunchaser" Violet's older sister said while looking at the men one last time "See you soon, oh powerful genie... uncle D'jinn" she said in a tone that the duo couldn't understand if that was sarcasm or not. They even couldn't read her face, which was a combination of happy but mocking at the same time.

"I may be able to answer ever riddle of the world but that is nothing compared to the greatest mystery of them all... teenagers" Faris said giving up.

"Looks like you have five nieces now" said Gene with a grin.

"It is true" the warrior said happy "I am so glad that... wait..." he remembered something the duckling said in her moment of great joy "Webby is the daughter of Scrooge?"

The confused warrior looked at the genie who said "Yes, it's a really long story"

The canine thought for a moment "I have time"

(Moments later)

"What do you mean Webbigail and company were created by F.O.W.L.?"

(Moments later)

"What do you mean that villainous buzzard is the reason the three boys grew up without a mother?"

(Another moment later)

"What do you mean Donald forced his family to live a sitcom reality that was not theirs for days without them being capable of breaking free until somebody figured out things because he was traumatized by the loss of his sibling?

(Yet another moment later)

"What do you mean this was not the only time that happened!?"

"To be fair, I had nothing to do with THAT one."

Faris couldn't process more information and spoke seriously.

"Gene, of many things someone could wish, that was very messed up"

"I know, I know but Donald wanted to do the best for his family"

"It could be the case, but now imagine this. If my Baba was the one who found you and he said "I wish for my son Faris D'jinn to be the doctor I always knew he could become" that would mean having my personality altered and be something I am not for the rest of my days but that would be fine because that is the best for our family" the warrior concluded while crossing his arms.

"Well... now that you put it like that it doesn't sound like a decent thing to do" the genie said ashamed.

"On the other hand..." D'jinn said in a soft tone of voice "Your intentions were always good, I am relieved the ducks found you"

"True, they are good people, even better than Collie Baba" Gene admited "I wish I had more masters like them in the past"

"I lament you had to be with such horrible masters"

"Nah, don't worry. In reality, my ex masters knew they can't mess with me, I can be like the Papyrus of Binding when I get upset" the genie said relaxed "Ever heard of Merlock the Magician?"

"No"

"Good" Gene suddenly said in a very serious, somber tone of voice.

This surprised D'jinn for a second. He began to reach his hand towards his new friend and was going to ask him if he was alright, but then Gene smiled and said with his usual cheerful voice.

"So D'jinn, now that you are free... what are you going to do?"

The warrior thought about that. There were many things he had in mind after almost being wiped out of existence. He finally said:

"If I remember correctly, you said that evil organization has hidden cameras around the world"

"Yep, lots and lots of cameras. They were really a dedicated organization"

"And some agents like the Blot, his most trusted ally, that talkative rooster and the annoying rich duck in white clothes are still somewhere"

"That is correct my dramatic friend"

"Do you know what this means?"

"A lot of material left for possible spin-offs?"

"No I... what are spin-offs?" D'jinn asked confused.

"Oh I wish I could tell you, but I can only make a limited number of Meta references per chapter" Gene said quickly.

"What Meta, what chapter?" Faris said more confused than before. Despite this, he continued speaking about his plan for his next adventure.

"Now that the agents went on their own journeys, that would mean the camera system is weak. We can locate them, learn how many of them are around the world and destroy them"

"I like your plan! This could be its own seri... wait, "we" as in you and me?" The duck said surprised.

"Yes, I said we. Would you do me the honor to be my companion in this new quest?" Faris asked while giving his hand to the duck.

Gene didn't hesitate and hug the warrior tighly.

"Yes! I would love to! Thank you!"

D'jinn was caught by surprise but instead of trying to get out the hug, he wrapped his arms slowly towards the free Gene and smiled. Then he remembered something.

"Wait! You said you have plans of your own. I apologize for forgetting that. I do not want to interfere in your own wishes"

The friendly and calm words of the brown duck made Faris be... very happy? Ectastic? He couldn't tell. To be someone emotional doesn't mean knowing exactly how you feel all the time.

"But I must tell you" said Gene "when the Phantom Blot separated me from my lamp, I lost many of my powers. I went from phenomenal cosmic powers to not even a quarter of that"

"Are you sure about that?" the warrior asked curious about the limitations of his new partner.

"Yeah, I can no longer create alternative realities or affect someone else's character but..."

"You... tried to do that again to confirm it?" D'jinn asked very worried as to how Gene was sure he couldn't alter personalities anymore.

"What!? No, noooooo. Come on, it's not like I tried to erase everyone's minds to make them forget about your encounter with F.O.W.L. because that would be very bad hehehe... right?"

"You are right my dear friend, it is good thing you didn't try to do that" Faris said relieved.

"That was also a... nevermind" said Gene giving up.

His new companion was a box of surprises and mysteries, not that it was a bad thing. If anything, he loves surprises and was eager to discover more things about him and the world around them.

"I still can teletransport us to any place we want. Just say a place and we will be there in a second"

"Not so fast Gene, we can take the easy way... or we can experience a great journey without using a lot of magic" the canine said while doing dramatic movements.

"Oh yeah, for a moment I forgot who I'm talking to, Mr. LARP"

"Why Larp? Everyone calls me Mr. D'jinn" the warrior said confused.

Was he ever going to understand Gene's references?

"I know, it's just... okayyy moving on" the brown duck said while trying to make things less awkward.

Was he ever going to understand D'jinn's literal thought process?

None of them had the answers for that.

It was just a matter of time, they supposed.

"If we are going to travel, we need to do it in style" Gene said while transforming the ottoman he made moments ago into a really cool looking and fast motorcycle, similar to the one Faris had in his quest for the found lamp.

"Gene this is without a doubt, as most people say these days, really awesome" the canine said while looking in awe at their new way of transportation.

"Thank you buddy" said a very flattered genie "and don't worry. I think everyone is going to forget about that random screening. Besides, nobody has recorded it"

Meanwhile, somewhere in the dunes...

"I got it!" Said a lone dog person with gray fur, goth clothes and a mask that is his connection to a certain group of thieves back in Duckburg.

He was holding a cellphone with an Hades-themed holdcase while looking at the video that he took of the arabian warrior's capture.

"I, Black Arts Beagle, have all recorded in my phone. And in good quality too" he said while laughing in triumph.

"Now I have to get back to Duckburg... somehow" the Beagle thought for a second before snapping his fingers "But of course!"

He then began to chant something and glowed in a magical purple aura. Suddenly he disappeared... only to appear less than five meters to the left.

"Wait what?" The magician said in panic. "What happened to my magic?!"

He only remembers using it to power up his cellphone while he was recording the genie's little movie.

But that couldn't be a reason as to why his powers aren't working anymore, could it?

He tried to use a teletransportation spell only to appear ten meters in the sky and fall in the soft but hot sand, still in the same place.

Aparently it could.

"No no no no NOOOOOOOO" He exclaimed dramaticaly while looking at the sky, powerless.

"How am I supposed to return to civilization?" He wondered in despair. He began to walk in whatever direction could help him find a way to escape this wide and unknow desert.

Suddenly he saw in the distance a very familiar dark figure looking at a floating duck who made appear a really cool looking motorcycle. They were talking about something before deciding to use the vehicle.

"I heard about the original tale but I never saw that movie"

"What!? You didn't see Aladdin in your life?" Gene asked in disbelief "We need to change that"

Black Arts looked at his phone and with the little of magic he had made his artifact invisible as to protect it from the Genie dude and the warrior.

He didn't think it twice, raised his left hand and began to run in their direction.

"Hey, birthday dude! Future father of the century...!"

One brief conversation later, the arabian warrior and the genie were going to travel the world alongside a Master of Dark Arts who was in a sidecar connected to the motorcycle. The three of them were free from F.O.W.L. and ready to began a new journey.

"TO ADVENTURE!"

"SHABOOEY!"

"ANY PLACE WITHOUT MA IS WELCOME!"

1. Currently my favourite fic of yours is "I Think We're Alone Now." It's funny, everyone feels in character, and I'm excited to see what happens next!

12. I've reread "The Three Caballeros (And Della)!" and some chapters of Indiquack.

2. Speaking of Indiquack, my favourite chapter so far would be "Ground Control to Della Duck." So many great things about it. If I remember correctly, Webby, Lena, and Violet end up in like a Jumanji type board game and appear out of it in the middle of Della smoking weed. pretty funny. and then when the boys catch her. yeah, its a good chapter and I think this was the first thing I ever read by you.

1. Thank you so much!! I really love writing that one. I just love writing the adult characters be able to do adult things when the kids aren’t around. Someone like Della should be able to let loose and have fun with her friends every now and then. And always happen to add more Fendra stuff cause frankly Gandra deserves more love! As for what happens next; gonna have some more DuckTales characters make their cameos and this:

2. And Ground Control to Della Duck! is your favorite!? Thank you! I’m still proud of that one because I really think it does a great job starting off Indi-Quack! and showing what I wanted to do with that series

One of my favorite tropes ever is when an adventure is going on and/or happens off-screen and DuckTales did that a lot so I wanted to do that! And yes! Their adventure was indeed inspired by Jumanji (except it’s called Quack-A-Rooney!) I did that little bit of meta humor where Della recalls an adventure she and Donald had when they were kids was similar to Webby’s cause DuckTales is a reboot and Jumanji had its reboot! Also! I really wanted to imply that Della and Donald’s adventures were like the 80s cartoon and Webby saying “A baby elephant” was a reference to my first ever DuckTales media I ever watched, the DuckTales Movie. I just thought that line was so funny as a kid

And funny enough, the boys catching Della smoking weed was the inspiration for the entire story. I was joking around with my bro while we’re getting high of course saying that the boys catching Della getting high

I think we originally joked that Dewey and Louie would be like “Oh boy that means we’re allowed to get high too!” while Huey would be like “Oh you must’ve heard about the legalization of marijuana” and then Della would respond with “Weed’s legal now, huh? Cool.”

Ducktales 2017 Head-canons:

Huey is Bi, either ends up dating Boyd or Violet.

Huey is also a hopeless romantic so he showers his eventual love interest with many a romantic date, yes they can get soppy but Huey knows when to hold back the lovey dovey when he sees he is being too overwhelming.

Dewey has that Queer aesthetic and life style but is ironically straight, there are times he wished he was as queer as how everyone thinks he is, but he can’t deny his own sexuality.

Louie is Aro/Ace.

When Louie grows up he either becomes a lawyer or starts his own small business, just depends on 1. If he can legally become a lawyer and 2. If his ideas for a small business can survive the current day monopolies such as McDuck Industries.

Webby and Lena eventually start dating.

Webby is a mix of Scrooge’s and Pepper’s DNA.

Mrs Beakley did have a daughter who got married and tragically passed away along with her husband, Webby would have been the name for their first child if they had a girl.

One of Violet’s dads is trans, so both of her dads are her biological dads.

Della still can’t look at her own reflection, doing so for too long will trigger her PTSD.

Donald and Daisy eventually formally adopt May and June.

Honestly people should drop their headcanons for ducktales to me just cuz I'm always like really curious about other people's ideas, stories, takes on the show and its characters.

Ducktales Crew in spacesuits on the Moon in space - Ducktales Adults in spacesuits on the Moon in space - Ducktales Kids and Teenagers in spacesuits on the Moon in space - Ducktales in Space (AU) -Tribute to Ducktales 2017 - Happy Moon Landing and Happy Independence Day of the USA - Reposting of my drawings

Now to post a set of my drawings that I did and drew in the course of a year related to Ducktales in space. Favorite Ducktales characters from Ducktales 2017 in their spacesuits on the moon, i.e. on journeys where there is no end and where it is infinite, of course I mean space. Although I may draw characters in actual spacesuits, this is how I imagine them to be in such spacesuits with bubble helmets that are resistant to many things, and can be used for traveling underwater, in volcanic areas and protection from various pandemics. These suits would also be used in other versions of the Duckverse, as well as in other cartoons, comics, and video games. There may be special drawings where the suit would be shown from head to toe in the entire drawing. Not to be outdone, these drawings feature these characters Donald and Daisy Duck, Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, Gandra Dee, Scrooge McDuck, Gyro Gearloose, Della Duck, Launchpad McQuack, Drake Mallard, Bentina Beakley, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Phooey Duck, Kabooie Duck (Donald's fifth lost nephew who wears the color brown), Gosalyn Mallard, Webby Vanderquack, Lena De Spell (Sabrewing), Violet Sabrewing, May and June Duck, April, May and June Duck (Daisy's nieces), Fethry Duck , Gladstone Gander and Boyd Gearloose. Maybe there will be some more characters, but maybe another time. I hope you like these drawings and these spacesuit concepts and space travel like this. The next destination is Mars.
