#but Walmart's are still full price. ; u ;

Note
For the past 6 months I’ve been saving up to buy my dream all pink “coquette” wardrobe and I’m literally so close to my money goal, I’m poor so I’ve never had like brand new full price clothes all my clothes are either from the thrift or the Walmart clearance rack so I’ve never had a real sense of style it’s always been “I wear what I can afford” but I’ve lost weight (sorry moony) and so I’ve been thrifting a pair jeans here or a 2 - 3 tshirts there but the last 2 times I’ve went thrifting I’ve gone completely overboard and I’d love my dream wardrobe but at the same time I have a somewhat cute wardrobe at the moment and idk but I feel bad about buying more clothes when I already have clothes, they aren’t my dream wardrobe clothes but they’re still wearable and not that ugly in fact I have a couple of decently cute pieces. Idk.
ur kinda getting too caught up in the brands and actually like the actual coquette girls were actually thrifting and buying from ross/marshalls etc like really ur just lacking a vision and hoping the brand new clothes will create ur style when u actually have to try new things on in different ways and style them u cant rely on the clothes like if u feel bad abt buying new clothes then maybe try styling what you have and making note of what ur missing so you can shop more intentionally but it has nothing to do with you not having the money or the dream wardrobe if you dont have the vision tbh because you could have all the cute name brand clothes in the world but if u dont know how to put an outfit together its kinda worth nothing
you keep relying on just comfy clothes and ur not being intentional when you pick them out either. reliable clothes dont have to be unfashionable and they dont have to be bland. figure out what looks good on you, where you're able to sacrifice comfort for style (for instance i rarely wear pants or sneakers) and actually try to put in effort instead of feeling like it doesnt. matter. it feels bleh because ur imagining the clothes to transform you, you're supposed to transform the clothes and that includes repeating pieces/outfits
#🌙.txt#late nights with moony#sorry if this was harsh but as someone who loves fashion i think everyone is approaching it with the wrong mindest

Monday 18 November 2002 - second visit to Munich - Marienplatz and Viktualienmarkt - the perfect Schwibbogen - Schäufele at the Tucher gastropub
18 November 2002
EN Hi everyone. Twenty years ago I was still on my vacation to Germany, Scandinavia and Switzerland. This would be my last full day. I visited Munich, particularly Europapark, then the Marienplatz downtown. I did not spend long there, I went back to Nürnberg and did my remaining shopping. Then I packed up to go home on the 19th.
Guten Morgen! Good morning!
Today would be my last full day in Europe until August 2003. I would visit Munich, and then come back to Nürnberg to do some final shopping before going back to the hotel. I would find the perfect gift for my mother, in the Handwerkerhof.
I managed to arrive at the hotel the previous evening at a more decent hour so I could wake up by 7 AM. I had breakfast, then took a shower and took the U1 to Nürnberg Hbf. I boarded the ICE train to Munich Hbf via Augsburg. So far it was the only ICE connection until years later when it went through Donauwörth and Ingolstadt. The train left about 8 AM, and made a stop about 8:35 AM in Augsburg Hbf. Then it continued to München Hbf. I was listening to the radio and happened to tune in Bayern 3. It was playing "Dilemma" by Nelly and Kelly. I cannot remember the other songs though, will have to refer to the audio tape which I had recorded at the time.
At München Hbf I accidentally dropped my radio. It did not completely break it but the hinge for the cassette would not completely close unless I jiggled it a bit. It was a misfortune. I went on to the U1-U2 station, bought a day pass, and took the U2 to the Am Hart station. I took a shuttle bus for the V Markt, or rather, the Walmart, which had replaced it. I used to go there a few times a week after work when I was living there in Summers of 1997 and 1998. Prices were cheaper than in downtown, especially for food. I bought a couple of beers to take home. Then I took the shuttle to Kieferngarten, the other stop with a U Bahn connection. I took it southbound to Marienplatz, through Münchner Freiheit that converges with the M3 that came from the west, namely Olympiazentrum which eventually was extended to Moosach.
I walked to the Viktualienmarkt and the Rathaus at Marienplatz. I also walked towards the Karlsplatz past the St. Michael church. I had been there in the winter when there was snow, months before. I did not go to the Hofbrauhaus until at least August 2003, so this time I just took the S Bahn back to Hbf and tried to find a train back to Nürnberg through Augsburg. At München Hbf, I took a 1:51 PM train to Nürnberg Hbf through Augsburg. I arrived about 3 PM.
In Nürnberg, I walked from Lorenzkirche to Weißer Turm and back. At one department store, I think, Hertie, I was at the World of Music, and listened to two CDs that I thought I should buy. One was the follow up CD Unbelievable by Sarah Connor. Months earlier, in Sevilla, Spain, I had bought her debut CD "Green Eyed Soul". I passed on that sadly. Another one was Otto Waalkes in concert. One of his songs was a parody of Toto's "Africa", called "Arschgesicht". That cracked me up.
I had to find something for my mother, and the time was getting short. 4 PM on a November afternoon is not exactly late, but if one is flying home the next day, it is better to find something to buy earlier than later. I went to the Handwerkerhof and found a shop that sold Schwibbogen. I found one powered by candles. I asked the saleslady to put it in a box, and she had the exact box to pack it in. I think it cost around € 30,00. I bought similar presents in that area, even a bottle of Frankish wine in a distinctive bottle, which is kind of flat, not the usual cylindrical type. Also I bought some delicious Lebkuchen to take back home. I also bought some candies for my colleagues at work to enjoy.
For supper, I went to the Tucher Mautkeller on Königstraße, towards Lorenzkirche. I had to go one flight of stairs down. I had a Schäufele, which was a pork shoulder, cole slaw and potato dumpling. I had it with glass of Tucher Dunkel. It was excellent. I paid about € 30 for the meal.
I walked back to Hbf and took the U1 back to Maximilianstraße, the bus 38 to Lenkersheimer Straße, and back to the hotel. I had to pack up my bags to see where I could put my beers, the Schwibbogen, wine and other things. Then I went to sleep.
I hope you will join me on my long journey home, through Washington DC Dulles and an unexpected "change of gauge", and a movie with shouts of "Jiggance!" from Portia de Rossi.
Gute Nacht! Good night!

2024 Furniture Trends: What to Buy and Where to Buy
Hey furniture hunters! The 2024 furniture scene is shaking things up big time, just like the fast fashion industry. Forget Mango, Zara, or Shein—this year, it’s all about Wayfair, Amazon, Overstock, and Temu. If you love trendy, affordable pieces, you’re in the right place. Let’s dive into what’s hot this year and where to snag the best deals!
What's Hot in 2024?
2024 started slow for furniture, but some styles are flying off the shelves. The Japandy trend is the star—think big, comfy Japandy sofas, tables, coffee tables, beds, and dressers. This Japanese-Scandinavian fusion is all about minimalism and function. Wayfair furniture deals 2024 are full of these chic pieces.
Trendy Colors to Watch
This year, it’s all about warm, earthy tones. Japandy colors are calming, with soft edges and a mix of Mid-Century Modern vibes and minimalist comfort. Look for ivory, light grey, mocha, light brown boucle fabric, dark green, and olive green velvet. Mustard and burnt orange velvet are also trending for living rooms and bedrooms. Linen and performance fabrics in cream, ivory, light pink, olive green, and teal are hot, especially for commercial spaces. Check out Amazon furniture trends 2024 for these colors.
Best-Selling Furniture Styles
Affordable but stylish items are the big winners. Japandy and Mid-Century Modern designs are topping the charts, while bulky traditional furniture is out. Modern motion upholstery sofas, sectionals, and power recliner chairs are all the rage, especially for small spaces. Japandy U-shaped and L-shaped corners are perfect for larger living rooms. If you’re looking for affordable furniture 2024, these styles offer great value.
Industry Outlook for 2024
The year started slow, but affordable options from Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, and Temu are leading the pack. Traditional stores like Ikea, Ashley Furniture, Rooms to Go, Living Spaces, and Bob’s Discount Furniture are losing ground to these online giants. High-quality brands like CB2, West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Anthropologie, All Modern, Article, Mid in Mod, and Rove Concepts are still holding strong, thanks to their quality and personalized shopping experiences.
Where to Shop in 2024
For trendy, affordable pieces, check out Wayfair, Amazon, Overstock, and Temu. They’ve got a wide range of styles and prices. For those who want quality and great service, hit up CB2, West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Anthropologie, All Modern, Article, Mid in Mod, and Rove Concepts. These are some of the best online furniture stores 2024.
As you shop in 2024, stay on top of trends and find pieces that mix style, quality, and affordability. Look out for pet-friendly furniture 2024 and power recliner chairs 2024 to keep your home both stylish and comfy. Happy shopping!

I COMPLETELY spaced on posting this at the appropriate seasonal time OOPS HAHA
This is my Halloween Costume for this year! I really really really wanted to be a Cyan Impostor for Halloween, even though the pandemic kind of fucked over any Halloween activities involving going outside ;u; I still wore the costume though, during the night’s Jackbox games with friends over discord, so Halloween wasn’t a total bust! Not gonna lie, it was comfortable as hell, too.
I got the white astronaut suit from Spirit Halloween (which turned out to be a lucky grab, because the next time I went, there was nothing left for space stuff). The dye I bought claimed it wouldn’t take to polyester, but it still turned out super blue and I was quite happy with it! In the pictures you can see the bin and drying rack I borrowed from my SCUBA stuff to do the dye job, along with the old broom I used to stir it lmao. Overall the dyeing process took maybe a total of an hour and a half, including soak, rinse and dry time.
The helmet was out at Spirit, of course, thanks price gougers. BUT Walmart offered a suitable alternative! I wanted to spray paint the helmet too, but ran out of time to mask it and find an appropriate acrylic paint RIP. It still fits the vibe, plus it’s very well constructed, definitely recommend if you want a cheaper but well-made space helmet WITH a moveable visor!
And finally, my pumpkin this year. I was super proud of somehow accidentally nailing the helmet shading TuT I’m learning how to refine the carve process so I don’t break delicate bits as much. We had a small casualty with a piece of an H, but a toothpick repair job made it invisible.
I might wear this suit to ComicCon next time we’re able to go - it would be my first convention in a costume, and I’m excited!

ABOUT ME.
NAME/ALIAS: Kayla / Satan
TIMEZONE: PST (for now, but don’t ask me where we’re moving next LOL)
RANDOM FACT: I was adopted when I was three, am 11wks pregnant with our newest and long awaited wee one, and shamefully have over 10,000 likes on this blog with zero chance of ever fully clearing them out lmfao
CHARACTER ONE.
NAME: Lauren “Ren” Victoria Livingston (29)
FACECLAIM: Phoebe Tonkin, my queen.
in COCONUT GROVE you’ll find LAUREN LIVINGSTON who’s lived there for FOUR YEARS and they spend their days working as THE MANAGER OF NATALIA ESCABIAS LUXURY SPA AND A FREELANCE WRITER. They’ve been described as ROUGE STAINED MARLBOROS STUBBED OUT IN ANTIQUE CAVIAR BOWLS, POSTCARDS SENT FROM PLACES SHE’S NEVER BEEN, CHAMPAGNE IN SOLO CUPS, AND UNMET DEADLINES by the people that know them. Which makes sense when you consider that they can be ENGAGING + ADVENTUROUS but also IRRESPONSIBLE + IN DENIAL
BACKGROUND.
grew up with a single mom who could never weave the same story twice about the origins and subsequent disappearance of her father.
lived on the cusp of wealth but didn’t actually have it… her mother, jane, was presumably from old money, but either the family lost it ages ago or she’d been cut off for reasons unknown.
they were ‘adopted’ by an older wealthy couple without children of their own when ren’s mother was pregnant with her aka given permission to live out of the guesthouse on their property for basically free
went all over when she was younger to “soul search” and sort out her life. basically just bummed around with a bunch of other barely legal adults who ate gas station food and drank expensive champagne and just a whole bunch of other nonsense
is approaching that age / stage of life where she’s meant to have her shit together but really doesn’t.
is still spending her money and maxing out credit cards on stupid things she can’t afford and doesn’t need. skips rent to go to fancy clubs. probably abuses something bc she can and she’s #lostandbroke inside
claims she’s an aspiring writer, and she’s trying she really is (sometimes), but doesn’t have anything to show for it if ppl asked
basically put together and #fine on the outside but a disaster on the inside
HEADCANONS.
HOMETOWN: Newport, Rhode Island
BIRTHDAY: tbd
NICKNAMES: almost exclusively goes by ‘Ren’, but a small few may call her L.V.
ORIENTATION: bisexual
MUSE SONGS: Girls Like You by The Naked and Famous, rock bottom by Caro, tba
CHARACTER TAG: can be found here.
PINTEREST BOARD: can be found here.
on any given day the only things you’re likely to find inside of ren’s fridge are a bottle of something alcoholic, a gel eye mask, and one of many credit cards frozen in the freezer.
in a similar vein, her oven is absolutely full of half clothes, half books.
is literally always on the verge of eviction bc, as mentioned above, she prioritizes p. much anything over responsibilities.
will 1000% justify buying five pairs of shoes she can’t afford bc she got them at a sample sale for the price of one at full retail
once upon a time she excused bad habits and terrible choices under the premise that they were hands on experience for the sake of her writing... except all these years later she’s still on her bullshit and hasn’t written anything of quality in ???
can’t be trusted to keep a pet rock alive let alone anything else
has never, not once, been able to say no to anything made of silk or velvet
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
this is already crazy long so i’m going to be making a sep. post for these and will add the link as soon as it’s finished, but you can expect to see things like: neighbors, coworkers, friends she’s met since moving to miami, the people she hung around during her years of travel and shenanigans, messy exes, drug dealer, former (kinda) sugar daddy lmfao, secret family, etc.
CHARACTER TWO.
NAME: 👑 Alicia Josefine Palmeiro (30)
FACECLAIM: Ana de Armas
in CORAL GABLES, you’ll find ALICIA PALMEIRO who’s lived there for ONE WEEK and they spend their days working as A (CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED) LAWYER. They’ve been described as SHARP GLANCES, RUNNING IN HEELS, AND THE SCENT OF ACRYLIC PAINT FAINTLY LINGERING BENEATH ARMANI PERFUME by the people that know them. Which makes sense when you consider that they can be ELOQUENT + AMBITIOUS but also MATERIALISTIC + INDIFFERENT.
BACKGROUND.
comes from one of those richer than god families that have a library named after them somewhere and flaunt it. grandfather was the former governor of NC and her father is the current state attorney there
basically grew up with anything she wanted under the sun aside from attention and love. she was more of a business/brand investment than a beloved child in their eyes. rafael and gabriella (true monsters, lemme tell u) had her entire life mapped out and signed in blood before she was even conceived.
thought it would be really fun once to get a boyfriend in HS and hasn’t been able to get rid of him since. pls don’t call the cops if she threatens to light jaxon on fire bc she’s not serious. except for the one time she prob almost did.
speaking of things she almost did... she almost ran away with him after hs graduation in the pursuit of true love and following her dreams
daddy blackmailed jax into leaving her without a word, though. he listened (with good reason). instead of being happy and painting to pay rent, ali sucked up her tears before her mascara could run and went off to duke.... u guessed it.... exactly as her parents planned.
years later ran into jax again and they had an affair while she was engaged to another man. it ultimately led to their birth of their now 1.5 year old son
wyatt is probably the only thing she cares about more in this world than birkin bags and lingerie and shoes. on wednesdays she’ll let jaxon grace the list, but only if he leaves his muddy boots and potato chips at the door.
they’ve just moved to miami in a panic bc she found evidence against her father that proved they weren’t safe around him anymore (can share deets, but it’s chalk full of triggers so i won’t add it here)
HEADCANONS.
HOMETOWN: Wilmington, North Carolina
BIRTHDAY: August 16th, 1989
NICKNAMES: Ali, Princess, Queen Alicia P.
ORIENTATION: attention and diamonds (no but really she heterosexual)
PERMANENT PAIN IN THE ASS: Jaxon Martins
CHILDREN: Wyatt Martins, 1.5 years
MUSE SONGS: Me Too by Meghan Trainor, tba
CHARACTER TAG: can be found here.
PINTEREST BOARD: can be found here.
currently living in the penthouse suite at the biltmore hotel while they house shop for a mini mansion up to ali’s standards
is the stomping parrot when jax refuses to give her the attention she wants. or when she’s giving him the silent treatment but wants him to know she’s still mad.
thinks $20 t-shirts are just the result of misprinted tickets.
might cry if you try to take her inside of a dollar store or walmart.
couldn’t cook a meal to save her life and will absolutely get something catered and then take the credit when you tell her how delish it is.
has extreme trouble expressing her verbal emotions, so her displays of affection typically manifest in the form of gifts. ali will secretly obsess for weeks over finding the perfect present to fit the recipient
not saying she’d throw u in front of a bus but…. if she doesn’t like u she prob wouldn’t hold out a hand to save you either.
is actually a warmhearted arsenic laced cupcake with a painter’s soul beneath her icy shield and devil blood. she does care. stg. mommy and daddy just never taught her how to show it.
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
just like before, i’m going to be making a sep. post for these and add the link as soon as it’s finished, but you can expect to see things like: neighbors, family local to the area (depending on from which side, would also need to be discussed with @fcntastical), new friends, artsy friends she can be herself around, mom friends (gimme a real housewives of miami club pls), people connected to her father and all his maniacal ways, fr/enemies, etc.
#miamiintro#this is basically a hot ass mess but i'm not gonna be around for a bit so i wanted to make sure i got SOMETHING up#i'll finish certain bits on here after the holiday <3#but i'm exciiiiiited

OKAY (Long post is LONG because I am incapable of being concise, sorry. Why use ten words when a hundred will do?)
First off: I would like to thank each and every person that bought something on my Walmart or Amazon wish lists. It was of unimaginable help, especially the dogfood. The state randomly decided to cancel my EBT (again) for no discernible reason, so we had to spend money on food and would have had to dip into the money we had saved for a rental deposit without your help on those household essentials. So, T H A N K Y O U.
(Note: If you bought something off our Amazon list, please PM me. Most of it’s gotten here okay, but one thing never arrived, but I don’t know who purchased it and you gonna need to contact amazon on your end)
Full situation recap: As a lot of you know, I have been desperately searching for someplace to move for the last few months.
The property we live on right now is being sold, and the new owner doesn’t want our place, so it’s gonna be striped and used as a fire training stage.
There have been some false hopes. I was literally about to hand over a deposit on a place in June, even, when the property manager got a call from the big boss with an order to halt all rentals at that park (like, I am not even slightly exaggerating, I was about to initiate the bank transfer when the call came through).
So back to searching it was, which included many many fruitless calls, three attempted scams (hoo boy, was the last one a doozy too), and more tears and panic attacks than I care to admit (no, I’ll admit it. SO MANY).
BUT! I have prevailed! I HAVE A PLACE.
Went and put the deposit down this afternoon and a hundred towards the first months rent (threee houuuuur caaaaar driiiiive. Both ways. Ugh. A thousand thanks to my current landlady for driving me across the state.)
This place is,,,, Well, better than the place I was fixing to put money on before? Bigger anyway. It’s an actual house, not a trailer, and rent-to-own direct from the owner not a bank (banks all want upwards of a thousand down on RtO; WHY?!?!). Walls, roof, windows, and floor all intact. Owner seems the decent sort for an old white southern dude (I’ll have to keep ace-ness and such on the downlow, but I expected that. This IS Georgia.)
However, there are some issues.
The entire thing, barring the (tiny TINY shotgun) bathroom and (awkwardly designed) Kitchen, is floored in THE most gawd AWFUL 70s olive green shag carpeting I have seen in AGES.
I have pictures.
I will totally share once I find where the hell my fxxkin’ camera specific USB cord went (may have to see if I can borrow one from someone tbh).
Also, the walls? Not only are they a funny pinky-grey tan, they are popcorned/cottage cheesed, not just the ceiling. It is one of the most yuckbadno combinations my autistic ass has encountered recently.
The owner also did a weird thing in the living room and boarded up and spackled over large windows on each side and replaced them with a single window in the front, which, okaaaay, but the spackle job is,,,, not the smoothest. like. At All.
I don’t want to be too down on the owner, bc he is Old, and clearly not the finest handyman, but it is Bad. (I also have clear pics of this and will share).
The walls are handleable for the most part. I have a line on some paint, hopefully, and spackle is cheap. That can be handled after we move in, even if the color/texture makes me want to hurl.
The main problem is the carpet.
Mom’s (mostly) in a wheelchair. And anyone who’s tried pushing themselves around on shag carpeting in a wheelchair knows, you get nowhere at a snails pace.
That stuff needs to go, ASAP.
So, I’m looking into flooring options to add to my Walmart Registry and my Amazon Wishlist. Mom’s adamant it HAS to be the solid sheet kind, not tile, so that limits what we can do. I’ll add some in the next few days once I figure out which ones are cheaply priced but not too cheaply made, and mostly lighter colors since the place really needs lightening tbh. I did toss a kind of flexible plastic runner on the lists, which will help if we can’t get flooring right away. She’d be able to move from room to room on those, I think. If anyone could possibly help out with some of the other items so we can save to buy the vinyl or pvc sheeting ourselves, I would be so grateful (dog food is always welcome).
Note: I’ve added some frivolous things to the Amazon list. Mom is currently very very disappointed that this is the best we could find and afford, and is tipping into a lovely depressive episode now, I think. The fact that it’s all fixable things is falling on deaf ears right now, all she can see is that it’s not what she’d hoped. She’s also still quite upset at the death of one of our dogs earlier this month. She usually bought herself a DVD or two a month, but we’ve been frantically trying to save money the past year, so it’s been a long time since she’s been able to. So I went and looked over her Amazon Wishlists and tossed a bunch of things she’s had on them for a long time. If anyone would be willing to grab her a favorite movie, or a book, or a hair clip, to raise her spirits a little, I’d be very grateful. (Her birthday is also in August, and at this rate, there really isn’t going to be anything left for us to have any kind of ‘Happy 69th Birthday’ celebration)

Nutrition for sports person | Ready To Shop? Great Stores Are Just A Click Away!
Nutrition for sports person Look for the right times to shop online. Often the stores that you frequent will have online sales that follow a time pattern. Many, for instance, schedule sales for the beginning of the month or at the end. If you see there's a pattern, healthy nutrition drinks hold off on buying anything until the upcoming sales period begins.
If you are going to be doing some shopping online, make sure you understand the liability for each credit card you use online. Many credit cards have automatic fraud prevention built in while others offer to buy health products online it for a minimal fee. You do not want to get stuck with purchases made on your card if the number is stolen.
Find out the online store's return policy. If you are considering making a purchase on an item that you may want to return, be sure you find out if returning the item is an option. Sometimes when you shop online, items can not be returned and you do not want to be stuck with an unwanted item.
If a website is not secure, do not make a purchase. Simply look up at the web address when you are shopping. If you notice an "https" instead of an "http," you can feel confident enough to insert your credit card information. However, if there is no "s" in the address, move on to a different site to be on the safe side.

You should think about purchasing a prepaid debit card and loading it when you intend to make purchases. This will help you avoid using debit or credit accounts that have a large balance. If someone gets the prepaid card information, there will be nothing on the card for them to take.
Keep your computer protected. If you are doing any shopping online, especially at a site you are not familiar with, make sure your computer has up-to-date virus protection. This is essential to prevent your computer from being infected by malicious websites. There are several free options that can be found on most search engines.

Do not just go to one online merchant to buy a product. Do some price comparison with other retailers. Compare the product costs along with shipping prices and their return policy. When you have this information, you can rest assure that you will purchase from a retailer whom you can count on.
Sometimes you can get the best deals by buying directly from the manufacturer. Not only will it bring you peace of mind as you are buying direct from the source, but many manufacturers offer discounts and coupons which you can use or get at retailers like Walmart, Amazon or Target.
You can save a lot while shopping online if you order all the products you need at once. Most online stores will ship your items together and only charge you once for shipping. Some stores will even offer free shipping if you spend a certain amount. It is sometimes more interesting to purchase an additional item instead of paying for shipping.
Encourage your teenagers to do some of their own shopping online. If you give your kids a prepaid credit card, they can buy some of their own school clothes on the Internet. You can keep track of where they're spending their money with the prepaid card's history functions, and they don't have you hanging around while they pick things out.
best supplements for health
If you are buying an expensive item, consider paying a little extra to ensure it is shipped through a reliable carrier. Do not hesitate to pay more so the package can be insured or expedited faster. If you are unable to be at home when your package is delivered, be sure to make arrangements with a friend or neighbor to receive the package for you.
If you want to do some shopping online, check with your credit card company and see if they offer one-time use credit card numbers. These card numbers can only be used one time and protect your "real" credit card number from theft. This service is almost always free to account holders.
Dedicate one credit card to all of your online shopping. If you use many cards for online shopping it will be difficult to determine if any of them have been used fraudulently. However, if you have only one card that is used for online natural health products online purchases, it will be much simpler to detect any unusual activity.
Trust your instincts when it comes to deals that seem too good to be true online. Shopping over the Internet is much different than your local brick-and-mortar store in that you can't just go in and speak to the manager. Once you've submitted your credit card or bank information, you can't take it back, so read all the fine print before buying.
Keep track of the amount of money you are spending. It is more than just checking your monthly bank statement. Make a budget and stay within it. You don't want to max out your credit cards.
When making an online purchase, only provide the minimum information required from you. This information is often denoted with an asterisk and typically includes your name, address, and payment information. Leave all optional fields blank. This optional information is often used by companies to study demographics, but could also lead to spam messages or other unwanted solicitation.
The best way to pick out clothing online to buy is to go with what you know. Look at items in your closet and try to match them in size, shape and style. If they best natural health products already look good on you, items which match them should look good on you, too.
cheap health products online Now that you have read this article in full, you are armed with the knowledge you need to keep your online shopping bills to a minimum. While you can still buy everything you need, you also know how to pay less for each item. Keep learning so you can continue to be a bargain shopper.

Cutie Reviews: Yume Twins May 18
See, I’m already making progress. It’s been a while since I’ve done two reviews in such a close span... hasn’t it?
Theme of the month: (U・x・U) Pom-Pom Sunshine
Before we get into this, I thought It’d be kinda fun to look over the description of this months box to help get a feel for the theme. It does play a large role in judging and I usually don’t elaborate upon it outside of name. Keep in mind that I took out the non-important stuff.
“What does Pompompurin and sunshine have in common? They both have a kawaii pastel yellow color! Pompompurin also loves going out and enjoying the outdoors making the most of his day. In this box, you can find many cute yellow items that represent May’s nice weathers and Pompompurin!“
Not to be a downer but I don’t like yellow.
But the point is not to judge the box on it’s color choices but its content, so please keep that paragraph above in mind.
Contest & Yume Prize
As usual, we have a contest featuring some very randomly chosen Sailor Moon facial masks, earbuds, and a puzzle. I’m not complaining though, who doesn’t like Sailor Moon?
The Yume Prize caters more towards the theme however, which I do appreciate. They usually do pretty good with that. Although, without sounding like a brat, I don’t see how this stuff can cost over 500 dollars other than the high quality being on a name brand product that belongs to its brand; you know, like if you find a toy at an official Disney store, it’s probably going to cost more than like it’s Walmart Disney toy variant?
In fact I can guarantee it because one of my favorite bloggers did a comparison on them a few times....
Kawaii Culture
I really should be including this more often, so here it is now :3 May’s Kawaii Culture celebrates the very first permanent Pokemon Cafe in Nihonboshi Tokyo back in March. You can shop for Pokemon-themed goods like accessories, toys, figurines, and even get some cute themed food.
Okay! So let’s get along with the review shall we?
Pompompurin Roll Cushion
The second of 3 Sanrio Roll within Yume Twins, last month we got My Melody in the easter-themed box, and next month we’ll get the third and final one of the set. You’ll have to wait for that review to see who it is- but in the mean time feel free to guess or think up an answer. I wish the image within the booklet didn’t spoil each one though because the shapes made them very obvious. There wasn’t a surprise element for us who subscribe to it.
As I mentioned in the prior box, I love these cute Sanrio, tube-like tsum tsum cushions. They’re so cute and soft.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
These are very simplified, but well made roll plush/cushions. Comfortable enough to snuggle with and use for the head or to rest a limb on. They even go full out with details... by that I mean they included his button.
and by button I mean... button; you know, typical Pompompurin inclusion. If they didn’t want people to know it was there they wouldn’t put it <3<
Kawaii Leisure Sheet
Ironically I just reviewed one of these in the Doki Doki April box. I think this one may be a bit bigger, I didn’t think to compare the two to see like I probably should have. Anyway... as a rehash of DDAB’s sheet, this sheet is for activities you would probably down sitting down outside. The bottom half has a thin layer of Styrofoam, while the top is textured (I assume to wash off dirt or stains).
This game in four styles, featuring Rilakkuma, My Melody, and 2 different Sumikko Gurashi.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Rilakkuma is always cute and I love this design! It feels so.. spring-to-summer vibey. But I also feel like this could work in the fall too. The mat is thin, but it still feels comfortable sitting down on. It could also probably work for several other things, like putting shoes on, or as a plate mat for a room or something. If I was going to the park or on a picnic or something I’d probably bring it.
Japanese Canvas Tote Bag
A mini-tote bag made in India that apparently costs 1,000 yen. It’s not very big but it gets the job done no problem and offers a lot of space. It also has an inner-pocket, which I like because I hate bags that have no storage compartments and just make a mess you need to waste five minutes digging through. There was 5 designs, including this one, two with cats, and two with sumo wrestlers.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
For a bag to get in one of these boxes I’m actually pretty impressed by it. It’s extremely well made and you can fit necessities and more in it, so it’s very practical for all sorts of occasions. I also like the simplistic and colorfully repetitive design, it makes me feel happy.
Cafe Holographic Stickers
I love sparkles, and food stickers! I got pretty excited seeing this in the box, you can see just how holographic the packaging is alone. There are 6 types (Honey toast, a drink, pancakes, a frappe, cheesecake or fruit tart, and a donut), 8 for each. There is also 2 large stickers with a design based on the front of the package.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
First I want to say adore this packaging. It’s so sparkly and shiny, and I just think it’s really cute looking with the cafe items covering the front and back. I like the variety and the stickers are like average stickers, but they do have that holo that everyone loves and makes everything better~
Taiyaki Squishy
Everyone’s favorite item in these boxes (I assume anyway), a squishy! Taiyaki is a baked pastry filled with things like red bean paste or chocolate. They’re super-popular and can be available fresh (which seem more cake/dough-like from what I’ve seen) or crispy pre-packaged ones (which I’ve tried before and really liked).
This was available in strawberry, chocolate, regular, matcha, and... white. Sorry, I’m not sure what a white one would be. It’s like they knew I wouldn’t be a fan of the Yellow color theme for May and gave me my favorite color to appease that.
I know that isn’t really the case, but it’s ironic isn’t it?
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥
It’s very cute, and I’m happy I got this strawberry-colored one. But I did notice mine has some air bubbles in the rubber/fabric (?), and around the mouth the coloring is lacking. What really killed it for me though, is the fact that it smells like body odor. I have no idea why it would, it’s been in the box and the box doesn’t stink. The inside of the box actually smells good...
Oh, and if you’re curious its a like a... 8 out of 10 in terms of rising speed. It’s quick but not instant.
Chick Kitchen Spoon
This is our final item of the box, and also the featured one. It’s an adorable chick-themed spoon perfect for stirring soups and sauces, scooping rice, tossing a salad, etc. It’s feet are removable- I assume for easier holding and washing.
Rating: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I love cute kitchen items, so I instantly took to this one. It’s pretty much like any other large spoon you’d have for making foods, but it’s just unique in design- so there isn’t actually much I can say about it. I do like that it stands though, because I hate laying spoons down on various surfaces and either making a mess or worrying over germs and having to get a whole new one.
♥ Cutie Ranking ♥
Content - 4 out of 5. I liked everything enough, I’m not sure what of it I’ll actually end up using because for me personally, it kinda feels like this is one of those “put it aside and come back to it“ boxes. I didn’t instantly say “I’m gonna put that out right away!“, except for the chick spoon for obvious reasons.
Price - 5 out of 5. Unlike the past two boxes I feel like this one was definitely worth the price we pay for them. Two items were small, in comparison to having a bunch of small and cheap items.
Quality - 4.5 out of 5. Everything is spot-on, nicely detailed, etc. I’m only marking this down because of that smelly Taiyaki squishy.
Theme - 2.5 out of 5. The theme was yellow, and two of our pre-picked non-randomized items were indeed yellow. By some dumb luck one of my items is mostly yellow. But two ended up being multicolored, and one was pink (but had a yellowish one in the set). Another portion was pompompurin, who could have been represented more, as well as sunshine, a summery vibe I honestly didn’t feel with this box outside of the vibrant color.
Total Rank: 15/16 out of 20 Cuties. Lately I’ve had complex and uncertain feelings about boxes, but with this one I felt like I liked it more/better even if it left me without that excitement that I look for in a new box.
♥ Cutie Scale ♥
1. Leisure Sheet - Not only did I feel like this embraced the theme the best, but in general it’s just a super-kawaii design!
2. Cafe Holographic Stickers - I was quickly won over by the sparkly, shiny rainbowness of the packaging- plus the stickers are cute.
3. Pompompurin Roll - Very cute and squishy-soft, but generic Pompompurin you know?
4. Tote - A repetitive and simple bonsai plant design, but it’s charming.
5. Chick Spoon - It’s cute but in a generic sense to me, so I thought the other items were much cuter.
6. Taiyaki Squishy - It’s a stinky, but still kind of cute squishy. And Pink, so...
Alrighty, we’ve come to another end of a review. Wasn’t so bad was it? Next will be the usual NMNL, followed by Kira Kira crate. I’m hoping to get those both done within the next few days to try to get myself back on track of posting more often- especially since I got so behind >3<
But if anyone sticks it out with me and continues reading then I’m happy. So until next time stay warmly pompompurin cute!

Do you have any recommendations for good plus sized clothing stores
heres a lot of shops http://plussizefairykei.tumblr.com/ShopsQuickList for cutesy stuff you can browse a lot of kawaii plus size fashion blogs cuz they usualy in The Know
but yeah heres places i frequent or are in my reach for me to frequent
Forever 21 usually has really cute stuff in their plus section and its on the cheaper side,f21 is junior plus though so you might need to size up
Torrid, i usually go their for panties and bras, since their normal clothes is waaay expensive. the price range for underwear is pretty average for the quality. a lot of ppl think of edgy skulls and roses when it comes to torrid since its a hottopic brand store but they also have really nice floral lacey pastel stuff too. dont bother with buying full price from torrid though they always have some sort of sale either online or in store
I also really really like Rainbow theyre really affordable but i think its another place you might need to size up or down and pay attention to in cuz I had some weird sizing problems there
Ashley Stewart also has some pretty nice stuff, i shopped there only once though to be honest but i got a lot of nice stuff from there. i also heard good things about their butterfly bra apparently its really great? i dont own one though
theres also lane bryant which is another place i rarely shop at cuz its super expensive for me, and its just not really my style, but at least as far as underwear goes its pretty nice quality its just not extra enough for me lol
Spreepicky (online store) has a lot of cute jfashion, the quality and customer service is really good imo, there sometimes is stuff that might fit you but isnt listed in their plus section so pay attention to the measurements and the reviews. example this shirt i have is one size fits all but it still fits on me because its super stretchy
PocketTokyo has a very small plus section but theyre trying to grow it and they sometimes do polls for clothes they’ll produce in plus sizes, its also where i got my cat keyhole bra lol
I also actually got a lot of my cute stuff on amazon like my maid dress and one of my sailor uniforms, u just gotta look
and walmart and target arent usually the first thought when it comes to cute fashion but if youre looking for basics, and you’ll need some basics, walmart always has plain color Tees and tanks in bigger sizes for real cheap

The Emergency Goalie
In hockey there are ultimately four lines of defense. The front line of that defense, is of course the two skaters who are, well yeah, playing defense. The second, is the guy on the team with the most expensive paint job on his helmet; the starting goaltender. That’s right, your Patrick Roys, Henrik Lundqvists, Arturs Irbes, and if you’re watching the Red Wings, whoever didn’t get pulled last game after letting in four goals in the first period. Behind those guys are the backup goalies who play when the starter is sick, injured, doing bad, or might need a break after too many consecutive games. These guys are the real heroes, who often boost morale for the team from the end of the bench usually reserved for the stick rack or medical staff. Who does that leave? The lonely soul who’s phone number lay etched in a bar napkin buried beneath the tattered cardboard from a 20-pack of Powerade crushed under the second row of seats in the coach’s Suburban. The one who’s a foot shorter than the team’s shortest center. The man who works part-time at the fitness center, but full-time in the paint department at an Ace Hardware. The one that’s rarely called. The one that’s never sober. The emergency goalie.
It was two weeks before our very own number one suffered catastrophic engine failure. Which to be clear isn’t any of the times it overheated, needed another new fuel pump or another alternator, or even when it just didn’t want to do anything for months. Two weeks before the inevitable happened, I bought another Xterra. My theory was that if the one I bought for just over $2000 was both a living nightmare and a RockAuto vendor’s wet dream, could you imagine what type of wild pleasure I could unearth after putting my Herbie Hancock amid the stained edges of the title to one for $800?
It was a 2001, one-owner, 231,XXX mile, replacement muffler included in the price, squeals when you turn the wheel too far in either direction dream cruise. You know how anyone with a pink deer decal on the back of either their Pontiac G6 or Jeep Liberty is a tan blonde college girl? Solar Yellow, is that pink deer decal for Xterras. Like that decal, this color too screams I AM PASSIONATE OF NOTHING to strangers in traffic. Many Xterra owners resort to nicknaming their trucks after the retro arcade game that will never die, PacMan, which is fitting because for every year the Xterra was sold up until 2009, the truck was available in Solar Yellow. Complete with the stereotypical damage-multiplier bumper that works as well as a wrist brace in a fist fight, because whatever you’ve just ran into regardless of where on the front of the truck you’ve ran into it, has now equally distributed it’s damage to both headlights and across the top of the hood. And much like any American Cheese yellow SUV, the brush guard front bumpers with matching taillight cages, are fucking ugly.
This four-wheel-drive squinting like you’re taking a shit emoji Xterra had sat for over two years before little ole’ “I should know better” [me] came running to it. It needed work.
All four shocks felt pretty toast, but only the front tires were worn down to the cords. Have you heard of Provider Entrada tires? Neither did I, but if it sounds like a menu item at Chipotle and they come in pairs for $30; as long as my girlfriend doesn’t find out, count me in. The tires from the junkyard held air, so next was a second oil change. The oil was dark, and to avoid a second blown engine, I drove for a few days with the first fresh oil change, but soon changed it again just to be safe. Spark plugs and wires were next, and to my surprise, this truck had 5 champion spark plugs, and one NGK. The lone NGK plug was that pesky sparkplug#6 that apparently if you’re too stupid to figure out a simple combination of wobble extensions and u-joints, you just fucking leave it in there forever hoping it changes itself. It doesn’t.
With a $40 Walmart battery I hit the streets in a truck that was roughly a Dodge Journey Uber ride to work for a week less embarrassing, than having to Uber to work for a week in a fucking Dodge Journey. It had a sunroof, which our Xterra didn’t, but the stock radio was a serious killer. I’m convinced only clinically insane people still listen to AM/FM radio in 2017. The best part about paying for a music subscription is that unlike AM/FM radio, you have access to more than 8 different songs from the last 200 years.
The power steering pump was in bad shape and I didn’t want to replace it. I had hoped soon I could sell this lemon meringue pie eyesore, so I kept maintenance to a minimum. Did it need a timing belt and water pump? Probably. Did it wobble both times I drove it on the highway at 65mph because the original shocks just couldn’t shock anymore? Sure. Was I going to fix any of that? Not this time you fucking money pit.
I did replace the muffler because I knew it would help it sell. The y-pipe did look like it might need replaced soon, but the previous owner only had the muffler section, so there was no sense in not installing free parts. The check engine light had been defeated, and after a junkyard hood latch assembly was bolted on, the hood could now stay closed without the help from ratchet straps or duct tape.
The interior however is where things got really messy. Mold had grown in both of the rear-passenger cupholders and blanketed across each scratched plastic panel and cushion seat sat a layer of neglect. Chicken nuggets and broken Asprins had invaded the carpet. We found over $14 in pocket change, and after removing the front seats to power wash them, through some sort of fake-reality restoration TV magic, brought the interior back to life.Unfortunately on this TV show, none of our wealthy cousins, who we had hired hours before the filming for the episode started, called us willing to pay a lot of money for something so worthless.
During the prolonged downtime, this $800 pineapple-flavored life saver came in handy numerous times. It was used to haul tools and parts back and forth between work at home, as well as go under the knife a few times to test various parts between the two trucks. As humiliating as it was to drive everyday, it spent more days this year as a functioning vehicle, than the silver Xterra has ever achieved consecutively.
After the engine swap hit rock bottom, I knew I had to get away from something old with so many miles, and soon. After only a few days listed on Craigslist, where all project cars begin, someone actually serious about buying it called, and I sold the truck for $1700. The extra money was a huge help, especially because I had to find something, and move away from the every evening and weekend consuming hobby of owning yet another Nissan anything.
It’s a perfect example of being an emergency goalie. You’re on-call for a long time without ever getting called, but when you’re called upon for those meaningless last two minutes in the game, you’re better than nothing, and sometimes, that’s just good enough.
InAnXterra is a blog about two people in Michigan with a Nissan Xterra from Craigslist as they journey to the Dakotas!

10/19/19: Took a trip on Saturday to the Greater San Diego area with a collector friend. Once again I found decent stuffs. My friend bought more volume than me, but I still found my good stuff. We went to five different gamestops to get cheap games for their 4 for $10 deal. And the hunt is getting a bit more difficult. As many gamestops got remodeled and their priorities shifted towards pop culture and toys. A lot of them had better things in their back cabinets than on their small and shrinking sales floor. So it's a good idea to ask them to open drawers and try to peek over their registers to look. At one store the worker got particularly annoyed by this, but fuck that! I want the good shit! Many boxes on the sales floor are generic or a better looking copy hides in the back. And lots of games are pretty scratched up. So it may take a while to search and choose. But I think it's worth it! Also many times you come up empty. Someone bought the game disc only and left behind the rest. That's how I got the case for TNA Wrestling and the paperwork for Jericho and Dynasty Warriors. In between gamestops I stopped at a target, but their clearance was still a bit too high. But at a Goodwill store I got three og Xbox games for $9.00, a nice change of scenery for a second. So for the games to the left of Snoopy Wii U, they were under the promo. I was happy to find a complete DS game, a steelbook for God of War Ascension and a slip cover for Dante's inferno. And the other games to the right, were normal prices. But worth it. King of Fighters 13 and Silent Hill Vita were $19.99 each. Full Auto, Natural Doctrine and Sengoku Basara, $6.99 each. And I found a steelbook for Wolfenstein New Colossus for $15. I guess it used to belong to a bigger limited edition set, but all I found was this. No big deal. And finally to end the long day, I stopped at a walmart hoping to find some clearance games, but nothing good for my tastes. I ended the day with a clearance Linksys Router for $25 dollars. The two hour drive home was tiring, but I made it home just before midnight.

Very dishonest!” (The media did cover it.)FEB. 16 “We got 306 because people came out and voted like they've never seen before so that's the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan.” (George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all won bigger margins in the Electoral College.)FEB. 16 “That’s the other thing that was wrong with the travel ban. You had Delta with a massive problem with their computer system at the airports.”(Delta's problems happened two days later.)FEB. 16 “Walmart announced it will create 10,000 jobs in the United States just this year because of our various plans and initiatives.” (The jobs are a result of its investment plans announced in October 2016.)FEB. 16 “When WikiLeaks, which I had nothing to do with, comes out and happens to give, they’re not giving classified information.” (Not always. Got a bad decision.” (The rollout was chaotic.)FEB. 16 “They’re giving stuff — what was said at an office about Hillary cheating on the debates. Which, by the way, nobody mentions. Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates.” (It was widely covered.)FEB. 18 “And there was no way to vet those people. There was no documentation. There was no nothing.” (Refugees receive multiple background checks, taking up to two years.)FEB. 18 “You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?” (Trump implied there was a terror attack in Sweden, but there was no such attack.)FEB. 24 “By the way, you folks are in here — this place is packed, there are lines that go back six blocks.” (There was no evidence of long lines.)FEB. 24 “ICE came and endorsed me.” (Only its union did.)FEB. 24 “Obamacare covers very few people — and remember, deduct from the number all of the people that had great health care that they loved that was taken away from them — it was taken away from them.”(Obamacare increased coverage by a net of about 20 million.)FEB. 27 “Since Obamacare went into effect, nearly half of the insurers are stopped and have stopped from participating in the Obamacare exchanges.” (Many fewer pulled out.)FEB. 27 “On one plane, on a small order of one plane, I saved $725 million. And I would say I devoted about, if I added it up, all those calls, probably about an hour. So I think that might be my highest and best use.”(Much of the price cut was already projected.)FEB. 28 “And now, based on our very strong and frank discussions, they are beginning to do just that.”(NATO countries agreed to meet defense spending requirements in 2014.)FEB. 28 “The E.P.A.’s regulators were putting people out of jobs by the hundreds of thousands.” (There's no evidence that the Waters of the United States rule caused severe job losses.)FEB. 28 “We have begun to drain the swamp of government corruption by imposing a five-year ban on lobbying by executive branch officials.” (They can't lobby their former agency but can still become lobbyists.)MARCH 3 “It is so pathetic that the Dems have still not approved my full Cabinet.” (Paperwork for the last two candidates was still not submitted to the Senate.)MARCH 4 “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” (There's no evidence of a wiretap.)MARCH 4 “How low has President Obama gone to tapp my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!” (There's no evidence of a wiretap.)MARCH 7 “122 vicious prisoners, released by the Obama Administration from Gitmo, have returned to the battlefield. Just another terrible decision!” (113 of them were released by President George W. Bush.)MARCH 13 “I saved a lot of money on those jets, didn't I? Did I do a good job? More than $725 million on them.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.)MARCH 13 “First of all, it covers very few people.” (About 20 million people gained insurance under Obamacare.)MARCH 15 “On the airplanes, I saved $725 million. Probably took me a half an hour if you added up all of the times.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.)MARCH 17 “I was in Tennessee — I was just telling the folks — and half of the state has no insurance company, and the other half is going to lose the insurance company.” (There's at least one insurer in every Tennessee county.)MARCH 20 “With just one negotiation on one set of airplanes, I saved the taxpayers of our country over $700 million.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.)MARCH 21 “To save taxpayer dollars, I’ve already begun negotiating better contracts for the federal government — saving over $700 million on just one set of airplanes of which there are many sets.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.)MARCH 22 “I make the statement, everyone goes crazy. The next day they have a massive riot, and death, and problems.” (Riots in Sweden broke out two days later and there were no deaths.)MARCH 22 “NATO, obsolete, because it doesn’t cover terrorism. They fixed that.” (It has fought terrorism since the 1980s.)MARCH 22 “Well, now, if you take a look at the votes, when I say that, I mean mostly they register wrong — in other words, for the votes, they register incorrectly and/or illegally. And they then vote. You have tremendous numbers of people.” (There's no evidence of widespread voter fraud.)MARCH 29 “Remember when the failing @nytimes apologized to its subscribers, right after the election, because their coverage was so wrong. Now worse!” (It didn't apologize.)MARCH 31 “We have a lot of plants going up now in Michigan that were never going to be there if I — if I didn’t win this election, those plants would never even think about going back. They were gone.” (These investments were already planned.)APRIL 2 “And I was totally opposed to the war in the Middle East which I think finally has been proven, people tried very hard to say I wasn’t but you’ve seen that it is now improving.” (He was for an invasion before he was against it.)APRIL 2 “Now, my last tweet — you know, the one that you are talking about, perhaps — was the one about being, in quotes, wiretapped, meaning surveilled. Guess what, it is turning out to be true.” (There is still no evidence.)APRIL 5 “You have many states coming up where they’re going to have no insurance company. O.K.? It’s already happened in Tennessee. It’s happening in Kentucky. Tennessee only has half coverage. Half the state is gone. They left.” (Every marketplace region in Tennessee had at least one insurer.)APRIL 6 “If you look at the kind of cost-cutting we’ve been able to achieve with the military and at the same time ordering vast amounts of equipment — saved hundreds of millions of dollars on airplanes, and really billions, because if you take that out over a period of years it’s many billions of dollars — I think we’ve had a tremendous success.” (Much of the price cuts were already projected.)APRIL 11 “I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late. I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve.” (He knew Steve Bannon since 2011.)APRIL 12 “You can't do it faster, because they're obstructing. They're obstructionists. So I have people — hundreds of people that we're trying to get through. I mean you have — you see the backlog. We can't get them through.” (At this point, he had not nominated anyone for hundreds of positions.)APRIL 12 “The New York Times said the word wiretapped in the headline of the first edition. Then they took it out of there fast when they realized.” (There were two headlines, but neither were altered.)APRIL 12 “The secretary general and I had a productive discussion about what more NATO can do in the fight against terrorism. I complained about that a long time ago and they made a change, and now they do fight terrorism.” (NATO has been engaged in counterterrorism efforts since the 1980s.)APRIL 12 “Mosul was supposed to last for a week and now they’ve been fighting it for many months and so many more people died.” (The campaign was expected to take months.)APRIL 16 “Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!” (There's no evidence of paid protesters.)APRIL 18 “The fake media goes, ‘Donald Trump changed his stance on China.’ I haven’t changed my stance.” (He did.)APRIL 21 “On 90 planes I saved $725 million. It's actually a little bit more than that, but it's $725 million.”(Much of the price cuts were already projected.)APRIL 21 “When WikiLeaks came out … never heard of WikiLeaks, never heard of it.” (He criticized it as early as 2010.)APRIL 27 “I want to help our miners while the Democrats are blocking their healthcare.” (The bill to extend health benefits for certain coal miners was introduced by a Democrat and was co-sponsored by mostly Democrats.)APRIL 28 “The trade deficit with Mexico is close to $70 billion, even with Canada it’s $17 billion trade deficit with Canada.” (The U.S. had an $8.1 billion trade surplus, not deficit, with Canada in 2016.)APRIL 28 “She's running against someone who's going to raise your taxes to the sky, destroy your health care, and he's for open borders — lots of crime.”(Those are not Jon Ossoff's positions.)APRIL 28 “The F-35 fighter jet program — it was way over budget. I’ve saved $725 million plus, just by getting involved in the negotiation.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.)APRIL 29 “They're incompetent, dishonest people who after an election had to apologize because they covered it, us, me, but all of us, they covered it so badly that they felt they were forced to apologize because their predictions were so bad.” (The Times did not apologize.)APRIL 29 “As you know, I've been a big critic of China, and I've been talking about currency manipulation for a long time. But I have to tell you that during the election, number one, they stopped.” (China stopped years ago.)APRIL 29 “I've already saved more than $725 million on a simple order of F-35 planes. I got involved in the negotiation.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.)APRIL 29 “We're also getting NATO countries to finally step up and contribute their fair share. They've begun to increase their contributions by billions of dollars, but we are not going to be satisfied until everyone pays what they owe.” (The deal was struck in 2014.)APRIL 29 “When they talk about currency manipulation, and I did say I would call China, if they were, a currency manipulator, early in my tenure. And then I get there. Number one, they — as soon as I got elected, they stopped.” (China stopped in 2014.)APRIL 29 “I was negotiating to reduce the price of the big fighter jet contract, the F-35, which was totally out of control. I will save billions and billions and billions of dollars.” (Most of the cuts were planned before Trump.)APRIL 29 “I think our side's been proven very strongly. And everybody's talking about it.” (There's still no evidence Trump's phones were tapped.)MAY 1 “Well, we are protecting pre-existing conditions. And it'll be every good — bit as good on pre-existing conditions as Obamacare.” (The bill weakens protections for people with pre-existing conditions.)MAY 1 “The F-35 fighter jet — I saved — I got involved in the negotiation. It's 2,500 jets. I negotiated for 90 planes, lot 10. I got $725 million off the price.” (Much of the price cuts were planned before Trump.)MAY 1 “First of all, since I started running, they haven't increased their — you know, they have not manipulated their currency. I think that was out of respect to me and the campaign.” (China stopped years ago.)MAY 2 “I love buying those planes at a reduced price. I have been really — I have cut billions — I have to tell you this, and they can check, right, Martha? I have cut billions and billions of dollars off plane contracts sitting here.” (Much of the cost cuts were planned before Trump.)MAY 4 “Number two, they’re actually not a currency [manipulator]. You know, since I’ve been talking about currency manipulation with respect to them and other countries, they stopped.” (China stopped years ago.)MAY 4 “We’re the highest-taxed nation in the world.” (We're not.)MAY 4 “Nobody cares about my tax return except for the reporters.” (Polls show most Americans do care.)MAY 8 “You know we’ve gotten billions of dollars more in NATO than we’re getting. All because of me.” (The deal was struck in 2014.)MAY 8 “But when I did his show, which by the way was very highly rated. It was high — highest rating. The highest rating he’s ever had.” (Colbert's “Late Show” debut had nearly two million more viewers.)MAY 8 “Director Clapper reiterated what everybody, including the fake media already knows- there is ‘no evidence’ of collusion w/ Russia and Trump.” (Clapper only said he wasn't aware of an investigation.)MAY 12 “Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election.” (The F.B.I. was investigating before the election.)MAY 12 “When James Clapper himself, and virtually everyone else with knowledge of the witch hunt, says there is no collusion, when does it end?” (Clapper said he wouldn't have been told of an investigation into collusion.)MAY 13 “I'm cutting the price of airplanes with Lockheed.” (The cost cuts were planned before he became president.)MAY 26 “Just arrived in Italy for the G7. Trip has been very successful. We made and saved the USA many billions of dollars and millions of jobs.” (He's referencing an arms deal that's not enacted and other apparent deals that weren't announced on the trip.)JUNE 1 “China will be allowed to build hundreds of additional coal plants. So, we can’t build the plants, but they can, according to this agreement. India will be allowed to double its coal production by 2020.” (The agreement doesn’t allow or disallow building coal plants.)JUNE 1 “I’ve just returned from a trip overseas where we concluded nearly $350 billion of military and economic development for the United States, creating hundreds of thousands of jobs.” (Trump’s figures are inflated and premature.)JUNE 4 “At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is ‘no reason to be alarmed!’” (The mayor was specifically talking about the enlarged police presence on the streets.)JUNE 5 “The Justice Dept. should have stayed with the original Travel Ban, not the watered down, politically correct version they submitted to S.C.” (Trump signed this version of the travel ban, not the Justice Department.)JUNE 21 “They all say it's 'nonbinding.' Like hell it's nonbinding.” (The Paris climate agreement is nonbinding — and Trump said so in his speech announcing the withdrawal.)JUNE 21 “Right now, we are one of the highest-taxed nations in the world.” (We're not.)

Dealmaster: Take 25 percent off a bunch of popular Nintendo Switch games
Enlarge (credit: TechBargains)
Greetings, Arsians! Courtesy of our friends at TechBargains, we have another round of deals to share. Today's list is headlined by a set of deals on high-profile Nintendo Switch games at Walmart and Amazon, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze, Splatoon 2, Kirby Star Allies, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Mario Tennis Aces. All of them are 25 percent off, which works out to a $10-15 discount for each.
Not every game up there will be to everybody's liking—the competitive online focus of Mario Tennis Aces is a far cry from cutesy puzzles of Captain Toad, for instance—and most Switch (or Wii U) owners have probably played at least a few of these already. But if you're in need of something new to play, all the above titles are at least worth checking out. Go have a look at our reviews if you're on the fence about one in particular.
The catch here is that these discounts only apply to the physical copies of each game. That shouldn't be a dealbreaker for most—you'll use up less of the Switch's meager 32GB of internal storage—but it's worth noting that Nintendo just added the ability to share Switch downloads across consoles. Still, given that these games are going for full price in the Nintendo eShop and are tied for new lows here, waiting a couple days and dealing with a cartridge may be worth it.
