─── ・ 。゚✧: *.☽ .* : ✧.───
You’re on your way to the harbor, pushing Grandpa Fuyi in his wheelchair. The grass crunches beneath your feet as you put a bit more force in pushing him. The two of you travel on the outskirts of the town away from the dirt path that leads to the main town.
Not long ago, a deep feeling told you that if you were to enter through the main town you’d definitely run into Zhongli. Just the thought of it sent shivers down your spine. To avoid being seen, you decided to take a detour.
As you’re walking, you see a group of hilichurls resting with their weapons laid by their side. You slow your pace, being very careful with your movements…but as your eyes scan the area, you feel your heart drop in your chest. Not far from the group of hilichurls, you see the large figure resting against a tree beside them… a mitachurl.
It’s your first time ever coming across one and even from a distance away you can tell how large they really are. Their size in real life is incomparable to the size you’ve seen on your screen. The sheer size of the monster makes you freeze in your tracks. Sweaty hands tightening on the handles of Grandpa Fuyi’s wheelchair, you slowly begin to back away. However, the squeak of the wheels, albeit quiet, is enough to wake them.
They, jump up, alert. Their eyes immediately turn to the two of you, snarls echoing into the air. The mitachurl wakes as well, the ground shaking as it jumps up. Their loud roars wake Grandpa Fuyi up. He realizes the situation you are in and you can feel how hard he’s shaking through the handles of the wheel chair. You too, are filled with terror, not only in fear of your life but for Grandpa Fuyi’s.
Despite his fear, he yells at you.
“R..Run… run away!” His voice finally snaps you out of your trance and you quickly begin to wheel him away as fast as you can. But your pace isn’t fast enough and Grandpa Fuyi knows this as well.
“Child… leave me…”
Your eyes widen and when you process his words, a tear falls from down your cheek. The glittering crystal falls to the ground as you continue running.
“No!” you tell him. Your voice is shaky, a stark difference to Grandpa Fuyi’s which is surprisingly steady. It’s as if he’s accepted his fate.
“It’s alright… I’ve lived long en-“ you interrupt him immediately.
“Are you insane?!”
You keep on running. You hear a low hiss in the air and you stumble, cursing when you feel a sharp pain in your back. You head twists, glancing down behind you to see golden blood dripping from your clothing and an arrow sticking out from your lower back.
Your pace slows from the pain, sweat dripping down your face. You can hear the footsteps grow louder and the ground shakes heavily from the mitachurl’s stomps. A slight turn of the head tells you that it’s too late to run as the mitachurl has caught up.
Unable to run any longer, the gears in your head turn fast as you think of way to get out of the situation. The mitachurl is only a few feet away from you, your body now filled with adrenaline.
The mitachurl swings his club, you can feel the wind as it comes down towards the two of you. As a last attempt to protect him, you shield Grandpa Fuyi with your hands up, hoping to take the majority of the blow.
Just as you feel the club collide with your arm, a golden light blinds you. The light clears and all of a sudden you see the monsters launched away from you, slamming into the ground, their bodies slowly disappearing.
Who… who saved us?
Your eyes scan the surrounding area for your hero, until you realize that it’s only you and Grandpa Fuyi. Realization sets in and you stare at your hands in shock.
Did I… was it me?
You’re snapped out of your thoughts when you hear Granda Fuyi gasping. You turn to see him grasping at his chest. It seems like the weight of the situation finally weighed down on him as his face is scrunched up in pain.
“My chest…” you kneel by his side, eyes wide. You panic once more, not knowing what to do. He’s having a heart attack.
Amongst your racing thoughts, an idea flashes in your head.
I-I’m the creator, you think.
You stare at your hands before placing them on his chest. A few seconds pass and nothing happens. Grandpa Fuyi’s groans of pain continue, frail hands clawing at your hands on his chest.
Your pillar, the one person to help you, is dying and you can’t do anything about it. Your hands shake, tears falling down. The tears harden into crystals, some bouncing off onto the floor, the others piling onto his legs as you lean over him. Grandpa Fuyi is too dizzy from the intense pain that he doesn’t even notice.
The time you spent together flashes through your head. You think of the times he helped you, the times he stayed awake late at night to comfort you when you couldn’t sleep from the fear of unfamiliarity. His kind smile and his corny jokes that took you a while to even understand.
As you’re lost in your thoughts with your crystal tears still steaming, a small light suddenly flashes from where your hands are placed against his chest. Letting out a gasp, you wait for the light to die down.
Grandpa Fuyi begins to relax and his eyes flutter shut. Your heart drops in your chest. It isn’t until you hear the soft sounds of his breathing that you realize he’s fine. You let out a cry of relief, resting your head on his knee.
Finally, you start to calm down and your breathing evens out. However, as the adrenaline leaves your body, the pain starts to sink in. You reach for your back, flinching as you feel the wooden arrow stick out. You curse, unsure of what to do. You know if you pull it out, blood will rush out like a champagne bottle with the cork popped off… but if you try and get help, your identity as the creator will be revealed.
Your eyes squeeze shut for a moment before you open them and grab a shirt from your bag. You rip the shirt into strips and roll up one of the strips into ball. With a deep exhale, you reach for the arrow, hoping for the best. Your hands pause, scared of the pain that is soon to come. However, with no other options, you force yourself to build up courage.
Finally, you rip it out, the pain of your skin tearing causing you to cry out. You can feel the blood pour out of you so you quickly press the cloth ball to your back and apply pressure to the wound. You wince and bite your lip to silence the scream you want to let out. Using the other strips from the ripped up shirt, you clumsily wrap the wound as best you can.
Finally finished, you let out a sigh, the pain still radiating from your body. After a bit, you realize you’re still out in the open with the sun almost completely set. The danger starts to sink in again, so you stand up, ignoring the pain. You wipe your hands, thankful for your black clothes that hide the golden blood stains before rushing Grandpa Fuyi to the harbor. As you rush, you forget to clean up the crystal tears and puddle of golden blood you left behind from the disaster you just experienced.
Filled with desperation and the need to leave Liyue, you don’t notice the figure standing on a hill not far from you, watching as you leave.
Xiao was doing his nightly rounds when he heard the echoing stomps of a mitachurl. He quickly rushed over to the danger, spear grasped tightly in his hand.
He arrived just as the mitachurl attacked you. Xiao cursed, seeing the mitachurl’s club collide with your arm, thinking he’s too late.
However, he’s shocked by the golden light that erupts from your form, knocking back the monsters and destroying them with a bright flash.
Xiao’s feet are locked in place as he finally takes a good look at you. At the golden liquid that seeps from your body and the crystal tears that pile on the ground. His heart is pounding in his chest so hard, he swears he can hear it.
Is he hallucinating?
He’s trying to make sense of what he saw but by the time his racing thoughts slow down, you’re gone.
Dazed and unsure of reality, he slowly shuffles over to the place you were just at, the scent of blood growing stronger as he draws near. Xiao drops to his knees beside the puddle of blood and tears. His hands shakily touch the heap you left behind. A choked gasp leaves his mouth as looks at the warm, golden liquid on his hands. Just by touching it, Xiao feels like his karmic debt has somehow lessened just a bit.
It’s you… it’s really you…
He’s delirious, unable to control his actions as his hands scoop up more of your blood, bringing it close to his face as if he wants to cover himself with the proof of your existence.
Xiao wrestles back his self control and his rationality returns. Though he’s able to calm down, the need to see you remains. Xiao jumps up to his feet, ready to chase after you but he stops in place.
What would he say to you?
That he knows you’re the creator?
What would you think of him?
Surely you’d be disappointed with him for not coming in time to stop you from getting hurt. Xiao doesn’t think he can handle it if he saw you stare at him with disappointment. Just the thought of it makes his heart clench.
Although he’s reluctant, he fights the urge to follow you. It takes a while and several deep breaths but he’s able to tame his impulsiveness. Now, somewhat calm, he bends over to collect your tears, very carefully placing them in his pocket like they’re his most prized possession. After collecting your tears, Xiao leaves, intending to share the news of your arrival with the other adepti.
You arrive at the harbor, breathing heavily. Grandpa Fuyi is still fast asleep. With a slight limp from the pain, you go around asking each of the ship members which boat you can take to Inazuma. However, each of the ship members give you the same answer.
The only ship leaving for Inazuma is the Crux. Despite it be being black, your clothes are still soaked with golden blood. You’re unsure if you can handle the chance of meeting both Beidou and Kazuha without them noticing anything. You want to give up but the radiating pain from your wound fills you with a sense of urgency that forces you to accept.
That’s how you find yourself in the lowest deck of the Crux, surrounded by sleeping ship members. Grandpa Fuyi lays on a cot by your side, not once waking up from his deep sleep.
You wait for a while, making sure every one is asleep before heading to the small bathroom. There, you take the time to thoroughly tend to your wound as well as wash out the golden blood from your clothes. As the last of it slips down the drain, you stare at yourself in the mirror, thinking back to all of the events that occurred.
You start to wonder, what other powers do you have?
You decide to experiment. Thinking back to aspects of the game, your thoughts land on one of the most useful devices… waypoints. The traveler is able to use waypoints to go anywhere they want in Teyvat. Deciding to put your powers to the test, you think of a place you want to go to. You rule out Inazuma, since the Crux is already on its way there.
Still unsure of any limits you may have to your powers, you decide on somewhere nearby, hoping that if it does work, you’ll still have enough juice to teleport back. Although you feel a bit wary on entering Liyue again, there’s a part of you that doubts the teleportation would even work.
This doubt allows you to close your eyes and concentrate. Your mind forms the image in your head and you feel a sudden rush of power. When you open your eyes, you’re exactly where you imagined, inside the Wangshu Inn.
You smile widely, excited over having discovered a very useful power.
“Y… Your grace,” a voice full of wonder calls out to you from behind. Your head snaps to the side, all excitement draining just as quickly as it came.
Xiao’s yellow eyes are wet as if he’s about to cry. A loud thud reaches your ears as he drops onto his knees in front of you. Ever since he saw you, your image was constantly on his mind. Because of your sudden appearance, he thinks that truly heard him, his desire to see you so deep that you decided to answer his prayers. His eyes are filled with an intense admiration and a twisted sense of worship.
“I-I… It’s an honor-“
“Fuck.”

Miraculous minicomic: Two Lilas (Original Vs Impostor)
Tumblr media
I've made this minicomic about my Miraculous AU: Two Lilas AU.
The scene (more detailed plot):
Cerise is disguised as "Lila" again. She officially "made her apologies" to Marinette for trying to ruin her life. In presence of Alya, Marinette seems to forgive her. Day after day, the bluenette begins to believe the super-liar has really changed considering her as a new friend.
But an intruder who tracked "Lila" enters to the punching room where Marinette, Alya and the targeted girl are. The intruder claim to be the real Lila and the other is an impostor who stolen her identity and sent her to the asylum nearly one year ago.
Marinette and Alya are confused and careful about this second Lila and they have some doubts.
She tells to the bluenette and the reporter girl they confront an insane identity usurpator since the beginning.
Lila 1: "You found out she just tells lies but you ignore she isn't in her real form. Her real name is..."
But the first Lila/Cerise cuts the line.
Lila 2: "She is lying. This creepy girl blackmailed and forced me to be the liar you previously knew me. She forced me to be sneaky toward every random person"
Lila 1: "False ! You won't trick anyone again. And remove your stupid disguise, "Cerise"."
Lila/Cerise (feral): "Not again !"
The two Lilas fight each other by wrestling. Cerise loses her wig during the fight.
Marinette suddenly interupts the two of them. And she wants questions and answers. Who says true ? Who lies ?
Marinette (annoyed): "That's enough, you two ! I want the truth: whowho is the real ? Who is the liar impostor among both you ?"
The two Lilas are more look alike than before the fight. They are both pixiecut/short hair, And now, it's difficult to identity the real Lila and the impostor who weared her wig.
Lila 1: "Have you doubt about me when I tell you that girl is the real manipulative liar you confronted before ?"
Lila 2: "Did you think me as an impostor, Marinette ? I am your friend. I even changed."
The two Lilas (simultaneously): "She is the one who stole me my identity. She is the super-liar."
Lila 1: "She has multiple identities. And her "redemption" is a lie."
Lila 2: "She comes to target you again. Don't listen her !"
Who tells the truth ? Will Lila be able to convince Marinette about being the real Lila as innocent ?
To be continued...
---
It's the sequel of my initial post about a concept with two Lilas in the same universe.

𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐱 𝐅𝐞𝐦 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈
Imagine a setting deep within the peaceful embrace of a wintry forest, where the night sky unveils a tapestry of stars, untouched by city lights.
The air is crisp, and the only sounds are the whispers of the wind and the soft rustle of pine needles. A fire pit crackles somewhere in the far distance of the camp, its glow flickering off the snow, casting both warmth and dancing shadows around.
You're there with someone special, the thrill of the season's chill unnoticed because the moment is warming. Wrapped in layers, you and your companion are snuggled beneath an expansive blanket, the fabric dusted with frosty specks that twinkle under the celestial dome.
As you lay there, hands entwined, a comfortable silence envelops you. The connection feels so deep that words would fail to contain it. Instead, a simple squeeze of the hand speaks volumes, a tender gesture far louder than language. The occasional squeeze back feels reassuring, a silent affirmation that echoes your own sentiments.
The unexpected vibration of a phone disrupts the serene scene—a rare signal penetrating this secluded sanctuary. Reluctantly, you glance at the screen, and there's your partner's message full of concern. Confusion sets in. If they are still in the tent, who—or what—is beside you?
Fear sharpens your senses as you turn to reassess your supposed companion. The being beside you seems human, but its movements are odd, disjointed.
It blinks, not in unison but one eye after another, an eerie imitation of human behavior. The realization crashes into you with a chilling wave of terror.
The once-comforting grip tightens. The simple human gesture that you found so endearing now sends a bolt of primal fear through you.
Where once you felt only connection, now there's a haunting void, a presence mimicking life but soulless, casting a shadow over the pristine beauty of this solitary winter escape.
It's a moment of pure, heart-pounding horror as the stillness of your winter camping trip transforms into a scene straight from a nightmare.
The stark, frozen woods became a silent observer to a fearsome truth: the comforting hand you had held belonged to something otherworldly—a chilling facade mimicking the man you cherished, a skinwalker lurking beneath stolen flesh...

"My face is everywhere. If you include the things that haven't made the news, I wonder how many doubles I have?
Kyo"
Somebody else came out and told the story of their friend who believed that they were talking to Kyo on the phone every day and who met them in person one day. To the person telling the story, it was obvious that the man wasn't the real Kyo when they accompanied their friend to the meeting spot one day, but their friend was stuck in her belief.

Took a lil break from the comic to take care of some serious business with my work, and get back on my bean bullshit /pos
100% the fault of the animated series on youtube by @rodamrix, recently rediscovered it after several years and my god!! It's come so far, and I love it so much!!! And it made me miss the space beans in a way I haven't in a long time ;u; So I remade my Among Us character, using features directly from my preferred in-game outfit!
Say hi to Cyan-tist (Cyan)!
I'll info-dump on my bean below the cut xD It's really long, you've been warned!
Backstory
Cyan worked in the specimen laboratory at MIRA HQ, occasionally taking trips off-planet for fieldwork and sample collecting. Cyan was very attached to her many pets, and would get engrossed in her work studying her specimens.
Unfortunately, she was caught alone in the specimen lab one day, and the impostor- Orange- who snuck into MIRA via transport vessel, sought to gain a new ally. Orange cornered and converted Cyan into an impostor by infecting her with the parasite, and once she turned, Cyan went into a feral hunger rampage, mindlessly killing and eating all of her pets and specimens in the lab. The grief of losing her beloved companions and all her work snapped her back into control of herself, only for Orange to praise her for the carnage. Outraged, Cyan turned on Orange, killing and eating him, too.
Not wanting to die for killing a seemingly innocent crew mate, Cyan outed herself immediately to her crew, handing over Orange's remains as well as their weapons during the meeting. Because Cyan never killed any actual crew mates, her crew decided to let her stay, on the condition that she be observed at all times via her Glitch Console (the Twitch pet lmao). She uses Glitch to stream her continued work in the lab, and keep in near constant contact with the rest of her team - it's also MIRA's way of keeping tabs on her, since she's on thin ice as a known impostor.
Cyan has a vitriolic hatred of other impostors, and can hardly conceive of another 'friendly' impostor like her existing. Whenever a hostile impostor shows up, all of her team have an alarm button on their tablets to call her, and 'deploy' Cyan to 'fix' the problem. This has regained some trust with her closest friends in her crew, though Cyan prefers to stay isolated in her laboratory with her new pets. She would love to find a cure for her condition, but is resigned to existing as she is, and it can't bring back the pets she lost. Cyan is soft on animals, robots, her fellow crew, and children, and has misused science lab equipment to make treats for young visitors. Don't mess with her work or she'll bite you.
Abilities
Cyan-tist is a Shapeshifter variant Impostor. She cannot turn into everybody she sees- however, she can transform into anything living she has ever eaten. The higher percentage of the creature she consumes, the better the disguise. She can shapeshift clothing from her own body matter. The 'cat hat' she once wore has become a physical part of her, the ears functional for hearing and movement, and the eyespots capable of sight, producing tears, and emoting.
Due to her initial feral rampage in the lab, Cyan can transform into a wide variety of crewmate pets and lab specimens- her favorites being the three forms of her former companions: a Doggy, a Headslug, and a Squig. She often uses these to spy on new arrivals undetected, attempting to sus out foreign impostors from the cohort. Cyan can adapt features to her existing body at any level she wants- for example, she can gain the fur coat of the Doggy, the wings of the Pouka or the Goose, or the tentacles of the Squig without needing to fully shapeshift. The Doggy form in particular has a heightened sense of smell, allowing her to detect if the scent of a foreign impostor is present, though it may not be sufficient to identify the specific individual from a crowd.
Cyan-tist's adaptive shapeshifting is powerful enough that she can gain the unique attributes of other impostors she has eaten. This includes her advanced chromatophores for changing color, which she acquired from Orange, the first impostor she killed and consumed. Very few impostors since Orange have had anything noteworthy to add to her repertoire of skills. Cyan swore to never eat a crew mate.
Completely self-indulgent Rodamrix Animated Series thoughts
Okay I couldn't help it, I wondered about what would happen if Cyan were to be present in the series. !!!SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, DO NOT READ THIS PART!!!
Original series- If she didn't adapt to the sudden climate shift of the impostor takeover, or stood with the crew in any capacity when they began to spread out of control, Cyan-tist is most likely dead. She would not have gotten along with many- if any- of the impostors within MIRA HQ, and actively would have stood against or tried to kill them, making her an enemy. I can't imagine Big Purple let her live if she tried anything. If by some miracle she DID survive, Cyan is most likely operating as a plant within the impostor hideout, smuggling supplies or otherwise tipping off the survivors as to the movements of the horde so crewmates can escape or avoid being discovered.
Alternate series- Cyan-tist is completely unaware of the plot that Crimson and the MIRA HQ heads have for selling off impostors/parasites and dissenters as test subjects. As such, she continues to operate in her specimen lab, on constant watch for new impostors to show up and threaten her crew and friends. The future arrival of Red, Purple, and Pink would set off HUGE alarm bells for her, and she would be on high alert the moment she detects they're impostors. Cyan would HATE Purple as a known killer impostor, be sus of Pink's no-thoughts-head-empty behavior- though she'd discover quickly he could be distracted with snacks- and not trust Red until his own crew vouches for him. Once the Skeld survivors confirm Red is innocent and a fellow 'good' impostor who saved their lives, Cyan would back off, but keep her eye on all of them.

Ok so this is a question more aimed at creatives overall (as in for writing, drawing, hcs etc) because I'm curious how people approach it - but anyone is free to answer!
Read the descriptions for each choice below the poll for more context!
So the question is...
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
For context on each answer that chara limit nerfs me on:
Basically face value, you might have some cool headcanons or worldbuilding but you adapt it to suit the bean!
When I say "humanoid passing" I literally mean it can be made to take on a convincing human form, so long as it's in what we recognize as astronaut/ space suit - this ranges from basic humans to sentient slime or gas, to anything inbetween!
As an example for the mix - I write my ocs under premise of the second option, but I really like drawing them beanlike like the first option! It's just easier to wrap my head around the humanoid interpretation for writing for me.
I have no clue what people could do that falls outside the main options but I have faith that someone out there has done something really cool and I'd LOVE to hear how you've re-envisioned the beans
I know I'm putting too much thought into it - hence this poll!! /silly
And if you have any extra thoughts or want to share your hcs in general please feel free! I want to hear what people do with the silly space beans 👀👀👀👀👀
And if you answer, I'd love if you could reblog -I'd like to get lots of input! Tysm!!
