Hi hi hi! I have a quick poll question for all the Atla fans that were at Comic Con Revolution today!
If you got in, reblog and put in the tags what time you got in line. If you didn’t, reblog with how long you were in line for, and or what you heard/were told regarding wristband distribution. I’m genuinely curious, lol
Me and a couple hundred other people were in line for over 2 hours and didn’t get in 😭
#I feel so bad for the family that flew to LA from New York and didn’t get in#online it specifically said that wristband distribution would start at 11:30#but I talked to a couple other people that said they started giving out wristbands well before that#people weren’t supposed to be allowed to camp out I thought but when I get there a half hour before distribution was supposed to start#there were already hundreds and hundreds of people on that floor#then they said that there would be a standby line of people they would let in if there were any no shows#so we waited in that line for another hour +#but instead of letting in the people that had been waiting for the longest#the staff decided to play like 5 rounds of ‘guess which number I’m thinking of’#and then let in the people that guessed correctly#there must have been 2-3 hundred people who stuck around in the standby line and were pissed when everyone got turned away#what shocked me the most was how tiny the panel room was????#like they know how huge the avatar fandom is#and comic con advertised the shit out of this panel#why not put it in the main call where they could fit everyone instead of a tiny room that fits maybe 150-200 seats??#I wouldn’t be surprised if there were over 1000 atla fans there that bought tickets solely for the panel#then almost all of them got their money wasted bc they weren’t allowed in#not to mention the fact that there was little to no staff/security regulating the line(herd) of people#or anyone to communicate information and updates while we waited#the whole thing was so messy#atla#avatar the last airbender#comic con Revolution#comic con

Monaco- Tom Holland x Reader
summary: you sort of crash the boys’ trip.
a/n: i got inspo after the pics were posted, i hope this is somewhat good, idk😂 happy reading everyone 🦋
Tumblr media
You had never gone to Monaco before which made you very excited when your boyfriend had invited you. It was supposed to be a boys day but you had just got to London a few days from being back home and he wanted to spend every second he could with you. Harrison and Tuwaine were going too since the original plan was a guys trip.
You were all going to the F1 race which started on Saturday. Tom was with the Red Bull team which meant you were gonna get every VIP pass that ever existed. You all arrived on Friday which gave you a whole day to sleep. When you arrived at the hotel the first thing Tom did was flop on the bed.
“Ugh, i’m so tired.” he mumbled against the bed sheets as you chuckled and put the suitcases in a corner.
“I know, that flight was killer.” you groaned as you sat down at the cloud like mattress making you sight in relief. You closed your eyes for a bit as you heard ruffling in the sheets and the bed sinking next to you. When you opened your eyes you saw Tom looking at you with a cute smile, wanting to kiss you. So you placed your hand on his right cheek and gave him a soft kiss.
“We should get some sleep.”
“Oh yes we do, but you have to tell the boys. So they don’t walk in or anything.”
“Right.. I’ll be right back.” Tom groaned as he left the bed and walked next door to see the boys. As he left you got up and got into your pajamas, took you makeup off and went under the sheets. While you where tying your hair Tom walked in and took off his shoes giving you a smile.
“All done, baby. Let’s go to bed.” he said and quickly got ready, then getting into bed with you as he quickly pulled you in for you he’d to rest on his chest. You both drifted off quickly feeling exhausted from the plane ride.
The morning came around rather quickly with you waking up first as usual. You expected to see Tom sound asleep but instead was met with an empty bed. You started to look around and were about to shout his name when he walked around the corner with breakfast.
“Morning, love.”
“Hi, you woke up early.” you chuckled and smiled as he walked closer to you. He put the breakfast at the foot of the bed and jogged to your side immediately putting his hands on your cheeks, pulling you into a sweet kiss. His lips moved softly against yours as you ran your finger tips down his abs.
“You ready for today?” he said getting into bed while eating fruit.
“I am, i’m just not sure what to wear.”
“Well leave the prettiest thing for tonight cause we’re all going to a fancy dinner.” you nodded and continued to eat talking about the day’s plan. Tom got up and got ready first with a pink t-shirt he bought with you, some jeans and random sneakers. You couldn’t stop staring at him cause even in simple clothing he looked hot. You settled for a tight crop tshirt and some baggy ripped jeans with your usual jewelry.
You walked out of the hotel hand in hand with Tom not feeling the need to hide your relationship since no one knew he was in Monaco that weekend. The car ride was pretty short making you grateful that you didn’t have to stay in a car for long. When you all got there, there were people waiting for all of you with VIP passes and wristbands.
The crew guided all of you to the main race track which consisted of walking in front of everyone. You saw so many people that you were gonna release your hand from Tom’s. You don’t know how but he knew you were gonna attempt to do it which made his grip tighter. He looked back at you and smiled while nodding giving you a reassurance. The walk to your box felt long as you saw everyone staring and photographing you. You all finally made it to the VIP room. It had drinks, snacks and a few people chatting over champagne on the sofas.
“Do you want anything, baby?” Tom asked breaking you from your trance.
“No, i’m okay.” you smiled as Harrison and Tuwaine called you both to go look over the railing down at the race.
“Did you see everyone with their phones?” Tuwaine asked being discreet, not wanting other people to hear.
“Yeah i saw them, this is gonna blow up any second.” Harrison said adjusting his watch while look back and forth between you and Tom.
“That’s fine, i don’t care anyway.” Tom said running a hand through his hair while letting go of your hand, leaning against the railing. The boys stared at you and gave you a sympathetic smile as they walked away to get some drinks. You fidgeted with your fingers as you walked towards him. You stood next to him as you rubbed one hand on his bicep making him relax.
“Are you okay? You seemed a bit annoyed back there.” you said softly looking at him waiting for him to make eye contact.
“Just frustrating, you know? We can’t go anywhere without being worried about what people may think if they see us... I’m tired of that.”
“Well we don’t have to hide anymore. You can show me off as much as you want.” you smiled as your hand ran through the hair at the back of his neck. He turned his head and smiled standing up straight pulling you towards him by your waist.
“So i can kiss you in public now?” he asked in a sexy voice making you smirk.
“Yes, you can.” and with that he leaned into a sweet kiss making you place your hands on his jaw. When you parted he chuckled and pecked your forehead turning back to the race.
“Okay guys, ew.” Tuwaine said as he walked closer to the couple. You all laughed and Tom put his arm over your shoulder. He never let go of you for the rest of the race. You all stayed in the box the whole time only leaving it to look around. Tuwaine had scheduled a boat ride for all of you after the race was over. You all walked to the docks being photographed as you made your way to the boat. Tom gripped your hand tighter as the camera’s clicked.
The ride was smooth and pleasant. Filled with jokes and business talk, coming from Tom of course. Harrison and Tuwaine took many pictures for the gram while Tom admired you the whole time. When you were making your way back, the sun was starting to set. Which meant that you had to go back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. You settled for a long summer dress with some wedge heels and your handbag.
When you walked out, putting everything in your purse, your perfume filled the room making Tom look up from his phone. He stared in awe as you stopped walking to close your purse.
“Okay, boys we ready?” you asked and lifted your head to see Tuwaine and Harrison on the sofa and Tom standing up to go to you.
“We’re ready, let’s go.” Harrison said as he stood up and walked out of the room followed by Tuwaine. Tom pulled you towards him by your waist and kissed you softly as your arms went over his shoulders to pull him closer.
“Mmm, you look so good.”
“I do?”
“Yes, you do. We’re gonna have fun when we get back.” he whispered into your ear and walked away leaving you in shock. You walked out of the room and met the guys at the elevator. The ride to the restaurant was filled with sexual tension between you and Tom. You crossed your legs and he immediately put his hand on it to grab and rub and touch. No one commented on it, which was surprising to you.
The place was fancy and decorated with fairy lights which you absolutely loved. You walked hand in hand with Tom as he waved at everyone who recognized him. Suddenly, he pulled out his phone and recorded a very funny story for his instagram. The dinner went smoothly with Tom’s hand never leaving your leg. Tension growing and growing as his hand squeeze your thigh from time to time.
A few hours later, you were all back at the hotel room. You took of your heels letting out a breath of relief as Tom took off his long sleeve turtleneck sweater. You stood up and started taking off your dress when you felt a hot breath hitting your neck. His calloused hands going over your waist to pull you closer.
“What are you doing?” you asked as you turned your head to look at Tom.
“I told you we were gonna have fun.” he mumbled into your shoulder. You turned to him in his arms and kissed him as his hand went to the back of your dress, pulling down the zipper slowly. The kiss turned animalistic as each of your hands explored each other’s bodies. Making that night incredible fun.

Note
can u do the sfw alphabet for nigari pls??
Sure! Hope you enjoy! 💕
SFW Alphabet | Suguru Niragi
{Alice In Borderland Masterlist}
Character: Suguru Niragi
Genre: dark
Warnings: strong toxic relationship themes, obsessive themes, blood, threatening, manipulation, gaslighting, physical & emotional abuse, a couple of suggestive themes, mention of body checking, mention of killing sprees
Author’s Note: I know I’ve mentioned this before, but just a reminder that I prefer to write Niragi as his true character. I would prefer not to pretend that he’s secretly a good man, because he’s not. Please do not read if you find any of the warnings upsetting or triggering! I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable!
Tumblr media
*this is based in the Borderlands
A - Affection
(How affectionate are they? How would they show affection?)
His love language is so hard to decide
I think he’s a mix of quality time and physical affection
There would be random times where he would just follow you around The Beach
He wouldn’t necessarily even talk to you, just trail you like a shadow
You would be well aware he’s there, he’s not that good at keeping quiet since he’s such a heavy-foot
But you never tell him that, and just give him the satisfaction of believing he’s being sneaky
He would give you random pecks on the cheek when walking past you in the halls
There has been times when you would be talking to someone and he would just run up and pick you up from behind and run off while laughing
B - Best Friend
(What would they be like as a best friend?)
He’d be the most annoying piece of shit
You’d never get alone time, he would always just pop out of the most random places just to annoy you
He wouldn’t want a best friend that couldn’t take his harsh jokes
Everyone at The Beach would be terrified of you two
You’re like the most dangerous duo, no one would want to be put with you two for a game, it’s a guaranteed lose
C - Cuddles
(Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)
He would have a weird obsession for cuddling you
Would NEVER do it in front of anyone else though
He’d demand your cuddles, like he would get angry if you refused
Sometimes would just randomly grab you from your friends and drag you to his room so he can lay his head on your lap
“Play with my hair,” “Niragi, I wasn’t finishe-” “Shut up and just do it.”
Would fall asleep just from you braiding his hair
Don’t move though, if he wakes up he’ll accuse you of trying to leave
D - Domestic
(Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)
He kind of pushed you into moving into his room with him
He said it’s better because it’s bigger due to his higher wristband number
Would start to believe that you’re kind of becoming more close from moving into his room
But, he’s so bad at maintenance
His job is security, so he doesn’t know how to work in a kitchen or let alone clean
You’d have to clean the room and wash the laundry yourself
Sometimes Niragi would feel a bit guilty and try and help, but would fail miserably and become too embarrassed to even keep assisting
E - Ending
(If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)
Brutally
No remorse whatsoever from this man
If he broke up with you, he would tell you in the meanest way possible, probably through public humiliation
If you broke up with him though, oh no hun
He’d at first just not let you break up with him and give you a warning
But if you didn’t listen to his warning, all hell would break loose
I’m talking about pouring buckets of blood through your windows, shooting bullet holes through your door with his rifle in the middle of the night, threatening to kill those close to you
You wouldn’t be able to take it, eventually just going back to him just to make him stop
{Here’s a short headcanon elaborating on this further}
F - Fiancé(e)
(How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)
Getting married in the Borderlands is impossible, but Niragi would always look towards the future with you
He would’ve dreamt about going back to the real world and finally being able to marry you
Sometimes he thinks maybe you could run away from The Beach with him and get married by yourselves
But yeah, he would be quick with moving forward and be committed completely to your relationship
G - Gentle
(How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)
You already know what I’m going to say
He would never be gentle, it’s not in his personality at all
Physically, he wouldn’t be fragile with you
He’d rough you up a lot, grabbing your wrists or pulling you harshly by your shirt
But when you approach him about it, he would gaslight you into believing that you made him do it and that he has to control you to keep you safe
Emotionally, no
Doesn’t hold any regard for your feelings, says whatever the hell he wants to say
Don’t even think about opening your emotions to him, he would shut them down so quickly by belittling you
“Aww my wittle bunny feewing sad? Deal with it, I’m not a therapist.”
H - Hugs
(Do they like hugs? How often would they do it? What are their hugs like?)
Very sudden and tight hugs
Always gives you a jump scare by sprinting up behind you and throwing his arms around your waist
He would hug you as often as he could
He doesn’t care if you refuse his hugs when it’s just the two of you
But when you refuse in front of people, he gets embarrassed and makes a mental note to teach you a small lesson later
I can imagine him having quite warm skin, so sometimes you would push yourself into his arms if the breeze was making you cold
I - I Love You
(How fast do they say the L-word?)
Would say it as a joke, before you guys were even together
Probably to tease you, or take you by shock
Or maybe that was him being genuinely honest
In the relationship, he would say it when you’re mad at him, because he can’t take you seriously when you’re mad
“Niragi can you cut that out!?” “NOoooo I love you~”
J - Jealousy
(How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)
Ohhhh no, they can’t get any worse than this man
His jealousy would be out of control
You can’t even smile at anyone else in his presence
If you did, he would grab your jaw and make you look at him again
One time a new member of The Beach thought that they could try and kiss you, not knowing that you were the infamous Niragi’s S/O
Let’s just say that no one saw them after that incident
He also once backed a man against a wall with his sniper rifle to his head for staring at your ass for a bit too long
Don’t make this man jealous, it never ends well
K - Kisses
(What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)
He would use so much tongue it would be suffocating
And he would hold your head in his hands roughly so you couldn’t pull away
When it’s just you two by yourself, there wouldn’t be a moment where his lips were off you
Is obsessed with kissing your neck, could never get enough of it
Would absolutely love it if you kissed around his ears, like he would melt
When in out at the pool or in the lobby with everyone else, he would actually prefer to not kiss at all
He would feel weird if people stared, cause you were his and his only and he didn’t want other people looking at you
L - Little Ones
(How are they around children?)
He would hate kids
He wouldn’t carry a shred of love for them
Most kids would be terrified of him anyway
Kids (if there is any at The Beach) would approach him because they thought his piercings or gun was cool, but he would say some freaky shit that would scare them off
I mean most people would tell kids to stay away from him anyway
But he would have this weird love for watching you play and look after kids
He didn’t know what it was, but it always made him fall deeper in love to see you playing immature games just to keep the children happy and smiling
M - Morning
(How are mornings spent with them?)
You would always wake up before Niragi
Don’t try and leave the bed though because otherwise he would instantly wake and drag you back into his arms and hold you ten times tighter like a cage
Most mornings would be you laying in bed contemplating what to do for the day while waiting for Niragi to wake up
When he does eventually, he would instantly want cuddles and kisses
You don’t get a choice in it of course
Waking up would be a slow process, but you would get there eventually
N - Night
(How are nights spent with them?)
Niragi always works around The Beach until late, so he would probably tell you to go back to the room around 11pm
You would spend the time reading or sitting out on the balcony and watching the stars
Niragi would come back and walk out to the balcony to find you
He would wrap his hands around your waist and push his face into your neck, nipping at your skin
“Are you coming to sleep or what?”
O - Open
(When would they start revealing things about themselves?)
This man would have walls upon walls upon walls
He’s never opened up to someone before and he wasn’t going to start just because he had a partner
He spent years building his personality so he could protect himself from others, why would he suddenly tear it down?
He wouldn’t, the furthest you could ever probably get with him is during a screaming match between you two, he said something in the heat of the moment about his shitty childhood
You would freeze and not say anything as he storms out
But other than that, you were never getting anything out of him
P - Patience
(How easily angered are they?)
I actually don’t think he’d be that easily angered
You could do anything, scream at him, punch him, insult him but he would always keep that cocky smirk on his face
But if you were to publicly humiliate him, that would be another story
If you try to show dominance over him in front of his militant group or other members of The Beach, he wouldn’t hesitate to slap you in front of everyone
He always wanted to be conveyed as the top of the food chain at The Beach, so if you came anywhere near to damaging that reputation, he’d make sure you were put in your place
Q - Quizzes
(How much would they remember about you?)
Every little thing
He’d know you better than you know yourself
It would honestly become frustrating though, because he would know when you’re lying or when you’re hiding something just from your body language alone
I feel like he would ask the chefs who made food at The Beach to always make your favourite dish that reminded you of home
It would probably be the only actual human decency Niragi would show to you
R - Remember
(What is their favourite moment in your relationship?)
His favourite memory of your relationship would be when you brought back a gift for him after your game
You walked past a cute trinket shop on the way back and saw a small glass raven in the window
You thought Niragi would like it because one of his favourite animals is a raven
He would be over the moon excited, but would try to play it off like it’s nothing
He’d keep it on his bedside table and clean it everyday so it stays shiny
S - Security
(How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)
He’d never let you out of his sight
He’s incredibly controlling, so he wouldn’t let you have a say in most things
He would always have you by his side, arm around your should tucking you into his chest
No one would even approach you when you’re with him because they’d be too scared he’d get the wrong idea
One time he threw someone over the bar counter and into the glass alcohol bottles because they thought they could try and lure you into their room
He’d be very much over dramatic, almost killing anyone who tried to hurt or flirt with you
At games, he would not let go of your hand
He wouldn’t let you do anything, he would drag you around and kill anyone he sees
Being with him would be a guaranteed win every time, but he sure would make you feel awful about it
T - Try
(How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)
He wouldn’t put that much effort at all I think
He’d see all that petty romance stuff as insignificant and a bit stupid
Wouldn’t bother remembering anniversaries, I mean there wouldn’t be much of a point while being stuck in the Borderlands
He has the mindset that you should devote yourself to one another without the need of gifts or dates
The closest you would ever come to getting a date with him is those nights you would spend together on the roof to look at the stars
But even then he would complain about it, because you would have to end up dragging him up there yourself since he doesn’t let you go anywhere without him
U - Ugly
(What would be some bad habits of theirs?)
You already know
Too many to count
He’s violent, he’s aggressive, he’s overprotective, he’s obsessive, he’s abusive, he’s unforgiving, he’s stubborn, he’s unempathetic, he’s psychotic
The list could go on forever
It would always make you question why you ever got involved with him in the first place, even if he didn’t give you much of a choice
Probably the only good thing you would get from him is constant attention and guaranteed protection from anything that could potentially harm you
Being with the scariest man on The Beach would have few pros, but they would still be useful at times
V - Vanity
(How concerned are they with their looks?)
I actually think he’s really concerned about his physical appearance
He probably pierced his own eyebrow, nose and tongue while he was in the Borderlands to appear more threatening
In the mornings, he would take forever to get ready
Probably does body checks in random reflections throughout the day
Yeah idk, I just think based off his personality, he would try so hard to come across as intimidating to keep his insecurities away
Sometimes he would tell you to tell him your favourite things about him just to reassure himself
He wouldn’t even care if you were lying, just hearing it would make him feel somewhat less insecure
W - Whole
(Would they feel incomplete without you?)
He would go clinically insane if he lost you somehow
He’s obsessed with you, why wouldn’t he?
If you didn’t return from a game or if you randomly disappeared, a few people were definitely become a victim of his rage
Would go on a killing spree, blinded by his anger and sadness
Would probably regret it and just sob loudly in your shared room for a bit, hugging your clothes to his chest
He would go searching for you everyday, wouldn’t even keep track of his visa
He had to find you, otherwise he would lose himself further than he already had
X - Xtra
(A random headcanon for them)
I feel like you would be the only person who would be allowed to touch his sniper rifle (I hope that’s what his gun’s called)
I mean obviously not to use against him, but he would give it to you if he ever had to be separate from you during a game for some reason
He would take you out to shooting practice, just aiming at crows or tree branches to help you get the hang of it
Sometimes the shot would be so forceful you would fly backwards onto your back
Niragi would always laugh hysterically at you when that happens
He would never let you use it at The Beach without his supervision though, he’d be so scared you would injure yourself
Y - Yuck
(What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)
He would hate a partner with a huge personality
Would very much prefer someone who was more quiet and timid, because they would be easier to control
And he just loves the thought of looking after and protecting someone, even though he’d be really bad at making you feel safe around him
He wouldn’t like someone who acted independent and didn’t need him
He’s insecure so he would need that reassurance that someone wants him
In general wise, I think he would hate sleeping
Somehow he just manages to run off 2 hours sleep everyday
He would get tired but he would just despise sleeping for some reason
It might be nightmares of insomnia, but he never really would bring it up so you wouldn’t ask
Z - Zzz
(What is a sleep habit of theirs?)
He has to be hugging something
He cannot sleep without having both arms and both legs wrapped around you
If you were being stubborn, he would just squeeze you tighter
You’d still be in the same position in the morning
Doesn’t care if you’re overheating, he if wants you close then he’ll make sure you are

Fair Festival Time!
As the summer months are coming to a close I thought it would be fun to do some Fair-specific MHA Headcanons as well as some Fair First Date Headcanons (GN Y/N)
First Dates are below the cut.
Headcanon WC: 433
First Dates WC: 1,541
Total WC: 1,974
. Mina and Denki buy the all-day rides wrist bands and are hitting up everything as many times as they possibly can and trying to bring as many friends along with them. Eijiro and Momo are the two most willing.
. Katsuki is really talented at just about any game that requires him to throw a ball of some kind. He's not in it for the prizes though, he'd win a 6ft tall teddy bear and hand it off to Ochaco without a second thought. All Katsuki wants is to watch the bottles or basket blow up.
. That being said, he gets A LOT of joy out of the dunk tank.
. Izuku is super patient with carnival games, he rules at any game where you have to memorize where things are. He brought home a bunch of goldfish that he won (gave most to Eri).
. Speaking of this adorable child! Eri just wants to try ALL THE FOOD! She walks hand in hand with Mirio and Tamaki to all of the food stalls and pointing to all the delicious treats she wants to try. They do keep an eye on her, they don't want her getting a tummy ache and ruining her fun.
. Shoto is instantly in love with frozen slushies. He wants one in every single flavor and he gets one in every single flavor! After trying them all he's decided that lemonade and orange are his favorites.
. Hanta tapes Mineta to the Zero Gravity ride when he catches him trying to be a little perv.
. Hanta then goes and checks out all the vendors with Toru, both buying some cute, locally made products.
. Circling back to games, Eijiro kills it at the strong man game. Gets giddy every time he hears that bell ring. Doesn't even need a prize.
. Mezo is really good at ring toss, even with his extra arms, he still throws them one at a time to get the most experience out of the game.
. Tsu and Koji spend a lot of time around the animals. While most of the animals tend to follow Koji around because of his quirk, Tsu has a small gathering of ducks around her at all times and she thinks they're adorable!
. Mina has gotten her face painted.
. Ochaco and Izuku got a caricature sketch done together and somehow they made Ochaco's cheeks more round and Izuku's hair more fluffy!
. Denki got lost in the funhouse, Tenya had to go get him out.
. Kyoka hangs out where the musical performances are nearly all day long. When Katsuki isn't being extra competitive, he usually joins her.
Fair First Date Headcanons
Featuring: Izuku, Katsuki, Denki, Hanta, Mina, and Eijiro
Warnings: Smooching
These are all pretty damn corny. I'm feeling sappy so this is what you get!
Izuku
. Izuku is all smiles, all day long with you.
. He wants to enjoy every minute of it so he will suggest you get to the fair early in the morning! He plans every part of the day, schedules times for snacks and when you should be indoors enjoying activities to beat the heat of the day.
. Makes sure you're putting on sunscreen throughout the day and staying hydrated! The last thing he wants is you getting heatstroke or something!
. He's not great at all the games but he still gives them all a try! Especially the ones you seem to enjoy.
. Ends up holding your hand when you get lost in a hall of mirrors. Nervously let's go once you're out but is very blushy when you grab for him again.
. Now, he had this day all planned out, so, when you're on the Ferris wheel at the end of the night and the fireworks begin just as you reach the top, you shouldn't have been surprised.
. He's holding your hand, brushing his thumb against yours when you both turn to say something to each other and your faces are just so close together.
. This time, he makes the move and kisses you.
. You two end up making out for nearly the entire show, a little startled when the Ferris Wheel starts moving again.
Katsuki
. You had to bug Katsuki pretty relentlessly to go to the fair. He didn't like the idea of the crowds and it was gonna be so damn hot but when you told him about all the games, how they were so difficult to actually win, he changed his tune real quick!
. You still compromised a bit though, waiting until the warmest part of the day passed.
. He made a b-line for the rows of brightly colored tents, holding onto your hand and pulling you along behind him.
. And, damn it, you'd been right. They weren't all easy to win! He eventually found a groove though, and learned he excelled at names that he had to throw things at.
. You had SO MANY stuffed animals by the end of the night!
. Fireworks started going off while you two found a picnic table to eat your dinner at with your massive collection of prizes.
. He'd popped a fried pepper into his mouth and you noticed him watch a little boy, struggling at a game nearby. He was sitting just so he could see the backs of the bottles and noticed they were rigged. There was no way a kid could knock them down, he didn't have the strength.
. Katsuki didn't say a word to you. He just got up and walked over to the kid. You couldn't hear their conversation but soon enough Katsuki was standing behind him and helping him throw the ball. You just barely saw sparks of his quirk propelling it forward.
. The bottles fell, the boy jumped up and down with a huge grin, accepting the massive snake plushie and hugging Katsuki's waist before he returned to you, again, not saying a word.
. You slipped into the seat beside him, kissing his cheek and telling him how sweet of a thing that was. There were grumbles of, "better not tell anyone..." Before he kissed you for the first time that night.
Denki
. Denki had no plan. He didn't even know a fair was happening until Hanta had said something about it but as soon as he did he knew he wanted to go, and he wanted to go with you!
. You got there shortly after opening, running for the ticket booth to purchase unlimited ride wristbands. And then set off!
. Hours. You spent hours riding every single ride there!
. It was only when you felt heat on your shoulders and saw the redness the sun had caused on Denki's cheeks that you thought you should maybe get out of the sun for a while.
. After filling up on food, you decided the funhouse would be a good way to stay cool! Wandering around the mazes and rooms, grabbing onto Denki as you fell into a ball pit. He didn't let you go after that.
. The sun was setting and you two were back at it with the rides! Lines are longer now than they were earlier in the day, leaving the two of you with more time to talk rather than just running around like two crazy people.
. It was after you got off the teacups. Your heads dizzy, laughing so hard your sides hurt, clinging onto one another so you could stay upright when Denki grabbed your face with both hands and kissed you smack on the lips.
. The kiss only lasted a couple seconds before you both needed air again. But, on the way to the Music Express, you both peppered each other with kisses, unable to contain yourselves.
Hanta
. He asked you a week ago if you'd like to join him, not really for the rides or anything like that, he was really interested in all the craft booths!
. You went at opening, grabbed some cold drinks, and started walking down the vendor's alley stopping at every stall and stand to admire the wares.
. You admired the way Hanta could strike up a conversation with anyone. His easy, laidback personality showing through as he gushed about leatherwork and delicious-smelling candles.
. Of course, you left with bags full of goodies!
. By the time you actually made it back around to the fair rides and attractions, your stomachs were screaming for food.
. You settled in to watch a few shows, chatting happily among yourselves until before you knew it the sun was beginning to dip.
. Finding a spot at a picnic table you were ready to watch the fireworks show but before they began, Hanta plopped a bag down in your lap, a sneaky little grin on his face.
. Inside, you found one of the candles you were in love with from earlier in the day but decided to save your money... well, two could play at that game. You dug around in your bag and handed him a small box. Inside was a necklace you'd seen him eyeing but passed up.
. Your thank you was in the form of a sweet kiss as the show began.
Mina
. Excitement buzzed through Mina all day long, the anticipation of going with you to the fair had her practically bouncing!
. While she was very eager, she also wanted to go later in the day. More people, more fun, that was her way of looking at it!
. You two were attached by the hand the moment you walked through the gate. Setting off for rides first, your heads bonking together on the tilt-a-whirl with a laugh.
. Next, she wanted to get her face painted and yours too! By the time it was done, Mina had elegant swirls of gold and red making her look like a proper Alien Queen and you had a mask designed of ornate patterns spirally over your nose and over your cheeks.
. You'd been splitting a funnel cake when pops of fireworks started exploding overhead. Stopping in the middle of the pathway to watch them.
. A few people muttered in annoyance but Mina was completely entranced, you pulled her off to the side, behind a few of the food vendors, so she could watch in peace.
. It didn't take you too long to turn your head skyward either.
. That was when Mina struck.
. The moment you were distracted, she grabbed hold of your cheeks, smudging the paint, and kissed you. The reflection was the fireworks in her eyes were as bright as her smile when you finally pulled away for air.
Eijiro
. The plan was to get there when the fair opened but you both took your sweet time, getting sidetracked with talking along the way meaning you actually arrived in the early afternoon.
. Not a problem, still left you with a ton of time!
. Eijiro let you lead the way, was your partner, rival, or cheering squad for whatever game you tried playing. But then he found the strong man game...
. It wasn't like you were surprised he could ring the bell but your eyes still went wide when he did. Grinning like he'd just taken down a group of villains all on his own when he presented you with a huge stuffed shark he'd been awarded.
. It was after you both scarfed down some food that you found a rock climbing wall and knew you had to tackle it! High up in the air, almost to the top, was when you lost your footing.
. Someone would have caught you, you both knew that but still, Eijiro's hand shot out and grabbed you first.
. After the minor scare, you found a spot in some grass to watch the fireworks that had started on the walkover. Laying back, the shark plush in your arms, your head on Eijiro's chest. You could hear his heart racing faster and faster.
. When you sat up to ask if he was okay, if he didn't like the fireworks, he just jolted forward and kissed you quickly. Not scared, just nervous. You assure him there was no need, kissing him again, before settling into his arms.

Harmless Fun - Graham Coxon x Reader
Summary: Graham agrees to a date at the funfair with the reader. (I imagined 2020/21 Graham whilst writing this, but you can view him however you like.)
Requested by: Anon - who wanted to see an older introverted Graham with an extroverted reader - I put a little spin on this with Graham coming out of his shell more throughout. I hope I did the idea justice!
Warnings: None.
Word Count: 2.8k

Among the extravagant rides, flashing lights and hundreds of people, Graham and I seem so small. We link arms as we walk into the funfair, exchanging a couple pounds each for fluorescent orange paper wristbands and glow-in-the-dark hand stamps shaped like goldfish. Graham’s smudges across his knuckles a little and we both make fun of the distorted icon on his skin. “That’s a very chubby goldfish.” I giggle, tracing the outline of it with my finger then comparing it to my own.
“No, yours is just starving. Look!” Graham points at my stamp, rubbing his finger over it to try and smudge it. It doesn’t budge and I laugh mockingly before tugging on his hand to drag him further down the gravelled entryway.
We reach a red arch covered in bright lights, mimicking a stereotypical dressing room mirror, like the kind you’d see in a movie. Graham and I spend the next couple of minutes dodging couples and families taking photos, the repetitive sounds of phone cameras clicking and flashes going off. Coming to a halt, I pull Graham to the side and grab my film camera from my tote bag. I wiggle it in front of his face, donning the classic puppy dog eyes to try and get my way. “Y/N…” He starts, taking the camera from my hand. “There’s so many people here. We can take a photo inside.”
“But this is such a nice spot! It’s so bright and sparkly. It’ll make such a pretty picture, Gra.” I beg, batting my eyelashes like a spoilt toddler. He sighs, winding up the camera and holding down the flash button until it lights up. I clap my hands together happily, giving him a quick side-hug before shuffling to the middle of the arch. “Ask him to take the photo.” I whisper, gesturing towards a man stood nearby. Graham shakes his head, holding the camera up to his face.
“Let me take one of you.”
“You’re just making excuses not to be in the picture!” I whine, my hands on my hips as I stare into the lens. Graham unexpectedly presses the button, the flash catching me off guard. “Hey! I wasn’t ready.”
“But you were posing.” He teases, winding the camera again. I shake my head, laughing as I link arms with him and lead him away.
“You still owe me a photo later.” I huff, grabbing the camera and tucking it back into my bag.
Graham chuckles, giving me a kiss on the temple and whispering in my ear, “I win.” I playfully slap his chest and he gasps, pretending it hurts. “Don’t hit the old man.”
“You’re not an old man!” I protest, standing on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek. He smiles, unlinking our arms to wrap his around my shoulder. He pulls me close and I settle into his side so perfectly, it’s almost like I was made specifically to be there. “Thank you for agreeing to this.” I say quietly, my arm lazily slung around his back, holding onto his denim jacket.
“Well, you were very persuasive.” He taunts, prodding me in the upper arm and earning himself another slap to the chest.
“Graham! Don’t say that in public.”
“Say what?”
“That! People will hear you.”
“Oh, they don’t know what I’m talking about.” He teases, leaning down to kiss my head. “You always know how to get your own way with me.” His hand slides further up my arm and onto my shoulder, gently massaging it. My eyes flutter closed involuntarily and Graham hums, the sound so smug it snaps me out of my daydream. He knows exactly what that damn shoulder thing does to me. I bat his hand away and point to the carousel which is the first ride we come across.
“You were saying something about me getting my own way?” I slip from his grasp and run to get in line.
“Y/N! The carousel… really?”
“Come on! It’ll be fun.”
Graham looks around, clearly worried or bothered about something. I leave the line before anybody joins behind me and go back over to him. “What’s wrong?” I ask, hands resting on either side of his arms.
“I’m just - I don’t know. We’ll stick out like a pair of sore thumbs on there.” He scratches his head, looking past me at the people climbing onto the brightly painted horses.
“Who cares?” I whisper, leaning closer to him and pressing a light kiss to his nose, before rubbing my nose against his. His glasses graze my face and I pull away, swiping his lenses with my sleeve to make sure I don’t leave any smudges behind. “Shall we?” I ask, holding out my hand to him.
He’s quiet for a moment, giving the carousel one last look before his eyes come back to meet mine. I smile hopefully, my hand still flat awaiting his to connect with it. He sighs and takes my hand, pushing his glasses up onto his nose with the other. “Alright. But I’m having that grey horse there.”
Graham’s horse is on the left, closer to the centre of the ride. I take the white horse beside him and hold onto the gold pole with one hand, the other still in Graham’s. He looks at me and smiles shyly as the ride begins to start, a corny rendition of ABBA’s ‘Mamma Mia’ playing on what sounds like an organ. We both roll our eyes and I listen out for the chorus, joining in with it. Graham bows his head, laughing quietly as I sing the lyrics at the top of my lungs, bopping from side to side and nodding my head to the music. “Why, why did I ever let you go? Mamma Mia! Now I really know - my my, I should not have let you go!” I sing, letting go of the ride to pretend I have a microphone in my hand. Graham leans over and grabs my wrist, pressing my hand back onto the pole.
“Hold on!” He shouts over the music and my tone deaf singing. I flash him an apologetic smile, cheekily blowing him a kiss and carrying on with the song. As the tune fades to an end, so does the ride. He jumps down from his horse and helps me off of mine. We head down the stairs and stand beside the ride control box where Graham stops to fix my hair, moving a piece out of my face and smoothing the rest with his palms. “Did you enjoy that?”
“Very much so!” I grin, staring up at Graham whose face is lit up by the carousel. His eyes catch the light and I can’t help but smile at just how beautiful he looks. The slight salt and pepper colour of his hair is more visible and I reach my hand up to run it through his fringe. “You’re so pretty, Graham.”
“Pretty?”
“That’s what I said.”
His gaze struggles to meet mine and I can’t help the giggle that passes through my lips. “Look at you getting all embarrassed! Is that a blush I see on your cheeks?” I tease, poking his cheek with my finger.
“Stop it…” He says, his voice small and unbelievably adorable. I wrap my arms around him to give him a hug, resting my cheek against his chest. He hugs me back, his chin resting on my head as we slowly sway under the lights. “Are you hungry?” He finally asks and I nod.
We head over to the food stalls and I find a bench, grabbing my scarf from my bag and laying it across the seat before sitting down. Graham stands, looking at the different options. “What do you fancy?” He asks, leaning down and holding onto my shoulders, his face hovering next to mine as I read the banner of each stall.
“I’ll just have some fries. Can we get donuts later?”
“Of course we can get donuts later.” He plants a kiss on my cheek and heads over to get the food, leaving me to save our seats. Taking the camera from my bag, I sneakily snap a picture of Graham as he waits for our orders. His attention is focused on something in the distance so he doesn’t notice the three clicks of the camera flash. One photo is never enough when it comes to Graham. Even if I filled a thousand albums with pictures of him, I’d still want to make it a thousand and one.
He’s back in no time with an extra large tray of fries and a bunch of sauce packets in his hand. He dumps the sauces on the table, putting down the food and untucking two cans of lemonade from under his arm. “I didn’t know if you’d want ketchup or mustard so I just got both.” He shrugs, sliding onto the bench beside me and tearing open a sachet of ketchup. He makes a space on the tray and empties the sauce out, wasting no time and tucking into the fries. I do the same but with mustard, and we assume a comfortable silence as we eat. The action continues around us as various songs play at each ride, all muddling into one and mixing with people’s squeals and screams. The scent of different foods surrounds us and almost tempts me into trying more, but I resist. We clean the tray of fries pretty quickly and decide to walk around, cans of lemonade still in hand as we explore the fairground more.
We spend the next twenty minutes making conversation about everything we spot around the fair. There’s stalls of handmade crafts and gifts which is something neither of us have ever seen before at an event like this. I marvel at the array of trinkets and lovingly crafted items, pointing things out to Graham that I think he might like. I come across a watercolour painting of a man playing the guitar, his silhouette illuminated by the night’s sky as he perches on the edge of a dock like a fisherman. The detail in the picture is spectacular, every brush stroke purposeful in making the painting perfect. I scuttle to Graham who’s a couple of stalls over and bring him over to show him the painting. I watch as his eyes light up like headlights in the snow, and we both look at each other with beaming smiles on our faces. No words need to be exchanged for us to combine some money and buy the picture. The artist carefully wraps the canvas in tissue paper before tucking it into a stiff cardboard box. I thank her and she thanks us right back for supporting her work. We look at a few other things before continuing on our walk.
“This’ll look great in your studio, Graham.” I enthuse, holding tightly onto the box. “Although I do wish you would’ve let me buy it for you.”
“It’s not just my painting, it’s ours.” He states simply, taking my hand and bringing it to his face to kiss the back of my knuckles. A rush of heat spikes up my neck and onto my cheeks, and my gaze falls to the ground like a lovesick rom-com character.
As we walk, Graham gets onto the topic of fairground mini games and how they’re rigged to make more money and have barely any winners. It’s hard not to laugh at his rambling, and I tease him for being so uptight about it. “I’m not uptight! It’s the truth!”
“It’s for kids, Graham.”
“Exactly! Which is why it shouldn’t be such a scam. It’s not fair for kids to keep losing.” As he speaks, I spot a Hook-A-Duck game and grab his arm to stop him. He notices the stall and frowns, his expression the complete opposite of the ear-to-ear grin taking over my face.
“Go on, Gra! Have a go!” I chime, wrapping my arms around his left arm like a koala bear attached to a tree. “That stuffed panda up there looks like he needs a home.”
“That stuffed panda is too big to be a real prize, Y/N. You’ll be lucky if I win that plastic snake down there.”
“It’s worth a shot.”
I pull him towards the game, handing money to the woman at the counter. She hands me the rod and I turn to Graham, thrusting it into his grasp. “You weren’t kidding.” He says, reluctantly taking it.
“Nope!”
He aims the hook towards the brightest yellow duck in the middle of the water. His grip is a little shaky and he misses the first couple of tries, but he eventually gets it. The worker grabs the duck and turns it over to show a big black star on the bottom of it. Graham drops the rod and looks at me, embarrassment covering his face as the large stuffed panda bear is brought down from the top shelf and handed over to us. “Congratulations! You found the grand prize duck.” The worker cheers, pushing the bear towards Graham. He awkwardly thanks her, picking up the oversized plush toy and carrying it over to the nearest bench.
I can’t contain my laughter as he stares at the bear, one hand on his hip and the other scratching his head. “Well, this is ridiculous.”
“He’s cute!” I squeal, sitting down and cuddling the panda close. “I’m going to name him Leslie.”
“Very funny.” Graham quips, trying hard not to smile but I can see the smirk beginning to tug at the corners of his mouth. I give the teddy bear another big squeeze, encouraging the smile to finally surface on Graham’s more than perfect face. “You’re lucky you’re cute.”
“Who? Me or the bear?” I raise my eyebrows and he moves closer to me, bending down to press a gentle kiss to my lips. I grab him by his jacket and pull him closer, causing him to stumble a little and almost fall on top of me. He steadies his feet, kissing me again, his hand cupping my cheek. For a second it feels like we’re the only people there, until the screams of those on the dodgems pull us out of our private moment. We both jump at the sound, Graham’s cheeks turning slightly pink before he buries his face in my neck.
“Look at us snogging at the fair like a pair of teenagers.” He mumbles, his hair tickling my skin as he talks. I find his shoulders and push him to stand up straight, standing with him.
“Oh, let them stare! I’m not embarrassed and neither should you be.” I encourage, embracing him in a hug and fluttering kisses along his jaw. He squirms a little and complains about being ticklish, moving his head around to try and dodge me. He slips away and grabs the panda bear, throwing it onto his shoulders like a parent carrying their child, or a festival-goer balancing their drunken friend. I laugh, tossing our empty cans into the bin before linking my arm with his once again.
With a giant stuffed bear in tow, it becomes increasingly more difficult to get on rides and find somewhere safe to leave it. We settle on the ferris wheel, sitting beside one another with the panda facing us. Graham stays close, his arm wrapped tightly around me as we go up into the air and look down on the view of the funfair as well as the city around us. “Sorry we didn’t get to do much. Bloody stupid bear.” Graham scoffs, gesturing to the mountain of stuffing and fake fur occupying the opposite seat.
“I don’t mind. I’ve had a lovely time.” I rest my head on his shoulder, reaching over to hold his hand. His fingers entwine with mine, his thumb rubbing circles over the back of my hand as we listen to the faint sounds of the music below us. “I’m really glad we agreed to do date nights more regularly.”
“Me too, but I’m planning the next one. Preferably somewhere with fewer screaming people.”
“Here’s me thinking you enjoyed the company of overexcited strangers.” I joke, nuzzling my nose into his neck and inhaling the addictive scent of his cologne. He rubs his cheek against my head like a cat showing affection.
“I’d enjoy having you to myself much more.”
“Then it’s a date.” I giggle, kissing his cheek and feeling his short stubble tickle my upper lip. He turns his head for his lips to meet mine, kissing me as we both mumble “I love you”s against one another’s mouths.
Graham is the first to pull away, slouching in his seat and slipping his hand into my bag. He pulls out the camera and smiles at me. “How about we take that photo together now?”

June 17: Chengxian 💜🖤💕
childhood friends to lovers/QPPs, ace Jiang Cheng, bi & aro Wei Wuxian, modern AU
(A/N: If you're wondering about a certain other someone, he will have a wonderful, full life of his own in Suzhou in this AU but is not in this story. 💙 There are some brief mentions of offscreen ace-antagonism, not by anyone we know.)
Read on ao3
Jiang Cheng had been Wei Ying's best friend in the whole world for his entire life.
Okay. Well, not quite his entire life, but certainly since Wei Ying’s parents moved to California when he was little little, which was about as far back as Wei Ying could remember anyway. Wei Ying’s baba and Jiang Cheng’s baba had grown up in Wuhan together and been best friends when they were kids, so naturally, when Wei Ying’s family moved into the same neighborhood as the Jiangs, it made perfect sense for Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng to become best friends too.
It was Jiang Cheng who had taught Wei Ying that he didn't have to be afraid of dogs, by introducing him to Princess, Jasmine, and Lil' Love. Lil' Love lived up to her name, coming and quietly sitting in all her fluffy glory on Wei Ying’s lap every time he went over to play.
It was also Jiang Cheng who Wei Ying got drunk with for the first time. They snuck booze from the cabinet where Wei Ying’s parents kept it and laughed at the faces each other made with every shot until they stopped tasting the harsh burn, and then laughing more just because.
(Wei Ying’s mom had not laughed, not at the time, when the two teens had been sick as anything the next morning, but instead made them a gloriously greasy late breakfast and gave them lots of advice about proper hydration.
Then she told Jiang Cheng’s mom and let her scold them.)
It was Jiang Cheng who came out first, their first semester in college, when he told Wei Ying he didn't think he wanted to have sex with anyone, ever, and asked if Wei Ying thought that meant no one would ever want to date him. Wei Ying hugged him tight and told him he didn't know about everyone out there, but he knew Jiang Cheng was the best guy in the world and would be an awesome boyfriend, and he'd fight anyone who said differently.
Jiang Cheng found a group on campus for third culture LBGT kids, and Wei Ying went with him, as a supportive ally.
Which was how Wei Ying figured out that he was not just a supportive ally.
In listening to the others talk about orientation and identity and attraction and cultural expectations, Wei Ying realized that what he'd always assumed was normal—finding all kinds of people physically attractive, regardless of their gender—was actually his bisexuality. So that was kind of cool.
"So yeah, now we can be queer together!" Wei Ying said, when he excitedly shared his newfound realization with Jiang Cheng.
Jiang Cheng snorted. "Yeah, 'all' and 'nothing,'" he joked.
It was Jiang Cheng who'd helped him practice what to say to his parents when he wanted to change his major at the end of sophomore year, and Jiang Cheng who reminded him to eat and sleep and "take a fucking break, Wei Ying," those next couple semesters when he took way too many hours so he wouldn't have to rack up a whole extra year's worth of student loans to finish his new degree plan.
It was Jiang Cheng who graduated first, on a gorgeous blue-skyed sunny day in May, and Jiang Cheng who suggested Wei Ying keep living with him at his new apartment, so he wouldn't have to try to find a one-semester lease until he finished in December.
(They renewed the lease together every time.)
Jiang Cheng ribbed him playfully each time Wei Ying met someone new, but he was always there each times things fizzled out after a few months for reasons that never quite made sense to Wei Ying.
Jiang Cheng occasionally dated too, and Wei Ying was glad he never did have to fight anybody—though he did drive Jiang Cheng to the emergency room the time he came home with split knuckles from punching a guy who, "seemed to think I didn't know my own mind about certain things."
But dating sucked for everybody, right? It wasn't like Wei Ying or Jiang Cheng were in any hurry to settle down and do the whole spouse and kids thing or whatever. Wei Ying tried to imagine it and just... couldn't, though the image of Jiang Cheng with a baby was admittedly pretty cute.
~
It was not Jiang Cheng, but Jiang Yanli, a few months after she proposed to her girlfriend and they started planning their wedding, who Wei Ying finally asked, "Yanli-jie, how does a person decide someone else is their person?"
Jiang Yanli looked across the room to where Jiang Cheng was showing her soon-to-be-wife how to put side spin on a billiards ball and smiled. "I think you just know," she said. "You meet someone and you get to know them, spend time together, then one day you realize you love them and want to build the rest of your life with them."
Wei Ying wrinkled his nose. "I dunno if it works that way for me. Just some random person? I've never met anyone I can imagine wanting to live with all the time. Well, besides—huh..." he cut off suddenly and darted a look over at Jiang Yanli, who just calmly sipped her drink.
"Have you ever told him that?" she asked, after a moment where Wei Ying reassessed his entire life and dating history. "I think he might appreciate hearing it."
"I... huh. Yanli-jie, you're kinda blowing my mind here," he complained.
"I gathered," she said wryly, before fixing him with a smile that made all the hair on the back of his neck stand up. "Of course, I trust," she told him, "that I do not need to explain to you of all people how very dearly I hold my didi's happiness and well-being."
He swallowed and raised three fingers in the salute he'd used ever since the summer that—hah—he and Jiang Cheng had decided as kids that they would make their own oath of brotherhood like the heroes of their favorite show. "I, Wei Ying, swear to you that I would kick my own ass before I did anything to hurt him."
Jiang Yanli leaned over to knock her shoulder against his and nodded. "That's what I thought."
~
Turned out, dating Jiang Cheng didn't suck at all.
It felt easy in a way Wei Ying’s past dates never had, less like trying to keep up with a game whose rules everybody knew except him, more like... well, like spending time with his best friend in the whole world, but on purpose. There was also a tension in the back of Wei Ying’s mind that seemed to have lifted, though he couldn't quite pinpoint what it was that had gone.
It was Jiang Cheng who helped him figure it out.
"I think it's that now I'm able to count on this. On us," he said, when Wei Ying brought it up. "Before, whenever you went out with someone new, I wondered if this would be the time you'd find someone to fall in love with and leave me behind."
"Aww, Chengcheng! I would never!"
Jiang Cheng huffed and rolled his eyes, but his cheeks were pink. "Well, I know that now," he said, a pleased little smile breaking through his attempts at a scowl.
"As long as you're sure—" Wei Ying began, still getting used to thinking about himself with the word "aromantic." Still a so very sure that Jiang Cheng deserved to be fallen in love with.
"Hey!" Jiang Cheng cut him off. "None of that. I know you. And I know you don't see it this way, but I personally think it's pretty damn romantic that you choose to love me, on purpose."
"I simply have exquisite taste in life partners," Wei Ying sniffed, embarassed the way he always got when Jiang Cheng declared something he'd done "romantic."
"You do," Jiang Cheng agreed. "Someone told me a long time ago I was the best guy in the world and would make an awesome boyfriend, and that he would fight anyone who said differently."
Wei Ying laughed. "That's you and your sister I've promised to kick my own ass if I ever break your heart, then. Guess I'll just have to keep you forever."
"Damn right, you will," Jiang Cheng agreed, grinning smug and happy and breathtakingly beautiful. Wei Ying leaned across the couch to give him a sweet, closed-mouth kiss—the kind Jiang Cheng had shyly admitted he actually did like, a lot—and smiled too, at how lucky he'd gotten to be with his best friend in the whole world for his entire life.
🖤💜
Today's (extremely long!) thread was inspired by this WONDERFUL art of ace Jiang Cheng and bi & aro Wei Ying! Go give Midori some love on Twitter!
I spent a nonzero amount of time googling to double check when various terms and flags came into vogue, so if you're wondering, WWX & JC were in college in the early 2000s, before the ace and aro flags were designed. By the time they get themselves figured out, they can get their cute wristbands.
...which, yes, means these dingdongs spent about a solid decade living together before realizing that was what they wanted to do forever. 😉
This also means Jiang Yanli and her unnamed wife here are getting married between when California started recognizing same-sex marriages in 2008 and the Obergefell v. Hodges ruling in 2015! THIS SHIT'S RECENT!!!
Happy Pride, thank you for reading, check out more LGBTQIA+ sweetness on my #PrideMonthSnippets Masterpost!

MASTERLIST
author’s note: for the sake of the imagine and my sanity, the band name is going to be ‘sunset swerve’ because i’m not creative enough to come up with something better
another author’s note: i apologize ahead of time for typos. i wrote most this in the middle of the night when i couldn’t sleep. let’s blame any typos on my sleep deprivation
Your best friend shows up at your door at 5. They knock loudly and yell, “Y/N! Hurry up! We’re gonna be late.”
They invited you to see their favorite band live. You have never heard of the band ‘Sunset Swerve’ so you have no idea why you agreed to go in the first place.
Quickly, you grab your phone and your ticket to get into the venue before opening the door. Your best friend stands there in a Sunset Swerve t-shirt and jeans. You blink at them and say, “You’re going all in.”
“Of course,” they say in reply. “Anyway. Doors open in like thirty minutes. Let’s go. I want a good spot since we have general admission tickets.”
You’ve never even heard of Sunset Swerve. You probably should’ve listened to some of their songs before agreeing to go with your best friend.
Your best friend drives off to Times Square in New York. That’s where the concert is being held. It’s been a long time since your last concert, over two years. You used to go to concerts all the time with Charlie before you broke up.
Y/BFF/N finds a parking spot then the two of you find your way to the line. There aren’t a lot of people here yet and doors open in fifteen minutes. While waiting for the doors to open, you look up some of Sunset Swerve’s songs. They have a demo out but they sing a couple unreleased songs when performing.
The doors open before you get a chance to listen to one of their songs. Your best friend quickly pulls you inside. You get your tickets checked and you get wristbands put on your wrists for general admission. Your best friend practically runs to get as close to the stage as they can get. You follow them.
Both of you get close to barricade. You’re only about six feet from the barricade and eight feet from the stage. You hope your best friend is satisfied with the spot you both got.
“Y/N,” your best friend says. “Have you heard any of their songs?”
You make a face and say, “Only when you listen to them, I’m only here because you couldn’t find anyone else to come with you and you accidently bought two tickets.”
They laugh and say, “That’s true. Let me at least tell you a little bit about them. They’re based in Los Angeles and they formed maybe a year or so ago. There are three of them in the band.”
A red flag goes off in your head. A three man band from Los Angeles that formed about a year ago. That sounds too familiar.
You turn toward your best friend and ask, “Y/BFF/N, who are the members of this band?”
“Jeremy Shada, Owen Joyner, and-” Guitar chords are played, cutting your best friend off before she can say the name of the third member. The stage lights dim and drums are played. The thousands of fans around you scream in excitement. You stand there, almost frozen.
An all too familiar voice says, “Times Square, are you ready to rock out with Sunset Swerve?”
Your heart drops into your stomach as you watch Jeremy and your ex-boyfriend, Charlie, walk out onto the stage. Your eyes widen as you hear Charlie play the beginning chords to Late Last Night. Your best friend jams out beside you but your eyes are on Charlie.
His hair has grown a lot. He wears a cutoff tank top with jeans. It’s still Charlie in front of you. The lights are probably so bright that he can’t see you but you can see him clearly since you’re about ten feet away from him.
Once the song has ended, the crowd cheers.
Owen says into his microphone, “Who here has never seen Sunset Swerve before?” A bunch of people scream and your best friend raises your hand in the air, even though you protest.
“No no no,” you mumble.
Your eyes are still on the stage and you see Charlie look directly at you since Y/BFF/N put your hand in the air for you. You stare up at him and inhale sharply when you make eye contact with your ex. Charlie’s eyes widen as Jeremy says something along the lines of “you okay?” Charlie just nods and steps to his microphone. “It’s nice to see some old and new faces in the crowd tonight,” he says.
The crowd cheers again as Charlie smiles, looking around the New York Crowd. He waits a second before he says, “This next song is one I wrote about a year and a half or so ago when I made what was probably the worst mistake of my life.” He switches from an electric to an acoustic guitar. “This is called Unsaid Y/N.”
You take a deep breath and your best friend looks over at you. You sigh softly as the beginning chords are played.
First things first We start the scene in reverse All of the lines rehearsed Disappeared from my mind
“Y/N?” your best friend says. “You never told me that you knew him, or any of them.”
With a shrug, you say, “It’s not a time in my life that I was happy about.”
When things got loud One of us running out I should've turned around But I had too much pride
Yeah, he should’ve turned around. You were just heated in the moment when you told him to get out. When he left, he never came back.
You look back at the stage to see that Charlie’s eyes are on you. He’s practically singing this song to you.
No time for goodbyes Didn't get to apologize Pieces of a clock that lies broken
“I should’ve known since he named the song after you,” your best friend says. “It’s kind of cool how he wrote a song about you.”
With a sigh, you say, “He ran out the first chance he got. I don’t even think he wanted to be with me anymore at that point.”
If I could take us back, if I could just do that And write in every empty space the words "I love you" in replace Then maybe time would not erase me If you could only know I'd never let you go And the words I most regret are the ones I never meant to leave Unsaid Y/N
Y/BFF/N says, “Wait, you dated Charlie Gillespie and never told me? You knew how big of a fan I am of them.”
“I didn’t know he was in a band, Y/BFF/N,” you say. “He was distant from me for the last of our relationship. The band explains it.”
In that moment, a wave of guilt hits you. He was spending time with the guys and getting the band together. You should’ve been more understanding, but instead you acted like a child and threw a temper tantrum when he wouldn’t give you attention.
Silent days, mysteries and mistakes Who'd be the first to break? Guess we're alike that way He said, she said Conversations in my head And that's just where they're gonna stay forever
You feel tears well in your eyes and you make it a mission to find Charlie after the show was over. Charlie’s crying up on stage too. You can see the emotion in his eyes and his cheeks wet from tears that have spilled over his eyelids.
Your best friend looks between you and Charlie before saying, “You still love him.” It wasn’t a question.
With no hesitation, you say, “Yeah, I do.”
Then the song ends and you clap. A smile forms on your face and Charlie looks at you. He lets out a little laugh away from his microphone. Jeremy claps him on the back and the show continues.
***
Immediately after the guys leave the stage, you and your best friend walk off to find out where the band went. They have to be around here somewhere.
As you try to enter the backstage area, a security guard stops you. “Only VIPs are allowed back here, ma’am,” he says.
“Please,” you beg. “I need to talk to Charlie. You don’t understand. That song, Unsaid Y/N. That’s me. I’m Y/N. I need to talk to him.”
The security guard says, “I’ve heard that one before. Move along, fangirl.”
You look at your best friend and you’re about to give up when you hear, “Y/N”. The voice came from behind you.
Quickly, you spin around. In the thinning crowd, you see Charlie standing less than ten feet away from you. You stand, frozen in shock that he’s standing in front of you.
After the moment sinks in, you run to Charlie and fling your arms around him. “I’m sorry,” you sob, burying your face in the crook of Charlie’s neck. “I was the one acting like a child that night.”
Charlie wraps his arms tight around your waist and he says, “I was the one that walked out and just never came back.”
“I wish I could take it all back,” you cry. “I didn’t want you to go, Charlie. I wanted you to stay. I know that it didn’t seem like it but I did want you to stay.”
He says, “You threw a glass at my head, Y/N. It didn’t seem like you wanted me to stay.”
You pull back a bit and look up at Charlie. Both your faces are wet with tears as you say, “I didn’t want you to go contrary to what my actions said. Actions speak louder than words, blah blah, but I really didn’t want you to go.”
His hands move to cup your cheeks and you lean into his touch, sighing softly. “I had a surprise I was getting ready for you,” Charlie admits. “I was writing a song for you that I was going to sing to you when I proposed to you. I just needed one more day.”
“You were planning to propose?” you ask, half in shock of Charlie’s confession.
Charlie laughs and says, “I wouldn’t become distant from you without a good reason, Y/N. I just couldn’t actually tell you what I was doing or it would’ve ruined my surprise.”
A little laugh escapes your lips and you say, “Now I feel like an ass.”
He shakes his head and says, “No, you had every right to be upset with me. I understand how it looked now and I promise you that I will never become distant from you again.”
You stare up into Charlie’s pretty hazel eyes and you say, “I trust you.”
His thumb wipes away from fresh tears and he asks, “Can I, um, can I kiss you?”
You nod as Charlie leans into you, pressing his lips to yours softly. Your heart pounds in your chest as if it’s the first time he’s kissing you again. Both of you hear a “whoop” behind you but it doesn’t break you apart.
Eventually, Charlie pulls back and says, “Come back to Los Angeles. The house is empty without you.”
“Let me talk it over with Y/BFF/N,” you say.
Then you hear someone shout, “Go back to Los Angeles. I’ll come with you. I’ve always wanted to go to LA.”
You and Charlie both laugh before you say, “Looks like I’m moving back to Los Angeles.”
Charlie smiles and hugs you, lifting you up and spinning you around. You giggle and wrap your arms tightly around his neck.
He puts you down and he says, “I love you, you know that?”
“I love you too,” you admit to him. “I never stopped either.”
The smile on Charlie’s lips gets wider before you bring him down to you again, pressing a soft kiss to his lips.
Owen says, “Okay, get a room. Before then, can we go get some food.”
Charlie laughs and pulls back from the kiss. “So, Y/N,” he says. “What are some good places to eat around here?”

I ended up putting a basic outfit together and spent like half the concert staring at the back of ppls heads lol but I had sm fun just being in the crowd and screaming along with everyone hehe also the girlies put on the performance of their lives as always and are even more gorgeous irl than ppl say they are 💞💞💞 how was the concert for you?
they are absolutely gorgeous!!! honestly sometimes when they were talking i’d just look at like their knees to try and see them as totally real 3d people in front of me i needed someone to pinch me LOL the crowd energy for ptt was exactly what i hoped for it was great
im gonna use ur q to give a sum-up of the stupidly lucky night & what happened to me and my partner because honestly so incredible and so baffling and we both had terrible horoscopes that day so just wow. a lot happened lmao so i was getting picked up and my friend had to pick someone else up and my friend’s car ac didn’t work in the atl traffic so it was a HOT drive and we ended up switching to the friend’s car just to make it in one piece so we were literally getting there at like 6:30? my partner was already there and in line and they kept telling me i’m moving up hurryyyy come quick so we were rushing down the line and once i found them they were LITERALLY a couple people before the metal detectors. they had ritz crackers for me cuz i had only eaten grapes in the car lmao so it was me in my fairy wings squeezing past the barricades and stuffing three crackers in my mouth before i had to throw them away because we were Right There it was very chaotic. security checked my purse and asked what was in my mini bag and when i said makeup he was like “you weren’t kidding” LMAO i just really like to be over-packed and over-prepared. anyways we tried buying drinks and they told us they couldn’t sell to us without a wristband so this led to an extended run-around of miscommunications with multiple staff members thinking we were trying to spend $80 to upgrade to vip upstairs and then nobody could find the girl with the wristbands and it was basically up until the very last moment that we got through with that thank god. we actually did have regular seats upstairs so we were rushing to those and it was so crowded and so close to starting i started getting rlly panicky cuz i couldn’t tell where our seats were but it seemed like someone else was in them?? but i was rlly embarrassed to squeeze through the whole section and be wrong cuz it was cramped so we went to ask a staff member and by the time we got back the chairs had mysteriously cleared so 🤭
ANYWAYS OMG IM SO SORRY ITS SO LONG ALREADY but we were at the very edge of the section so those long chains of hanging speakers were literally in our faces and i was a little disappointed cuz you could only see a few girls in the front line of choreo at most but we were still really close and i was excited to be there so it was all good. they did their intro and stuff we freaked and then star started and we FREAKED top ten english kpop releases on my life. one of my absolute faves so we were totally engrossed and then this security member like popped his head over the edge of the section wall as we were screaming and was like “are you two together” and i said yes and all he said was “come with me” nothing else so i was SCARED i started getting rlly anxious that they were gonna say we kicked someone else out of their seats or we were getting escorted out or they were gonna be like actually you guys aren’t 21 (we are) and drinking illegally so you’re done idk i was just scared cuz it was so soon to when the show started i thought something was wrong. we had to literally like climb down the rows and we were led around the entire section and through the whole middle section to go to the other side and this same guy who is explaining nothing to us was just like put your wrist out and he started putting these fabric wristbands on us and then he leaves?? so we’re left standing at the corner of this section so i turn to another staff member and im like what are these for? and as he’s about to answer someone motions to him and he points down the section and the guy is at the other end calling us over MIND YOU THEYRE PERFORMING STAR THIS WHOLE TIME I CANT EVEN PAY ATTENTION we’re like crouch running to not block anyone i was literally singing along while running trying to be in the moment and then he’s at a table????? like the actual closest table to the stage next to the railing and he has us sit down and he says something to me i actually have no idea what he said but i heard “for now” so??? are we temporarily here?? are they finding us new seats?? why did we move?? but now the entire view is different like y’all we were opposite our original seats but you could see EVERYTHING i didn’t even know there was screen behind them until then. the girls were sooooo close oh my god. so we were at this table for a while eventually another staff member even showed us the qr code menu on the table like you guys can order stuff you know and they’ll bring it to you!! we were like ok thank you!! ?? so does that mean we’re staying here?? spoiler alert we DID stay there the entire show i don’t know what FOR NOW was about but the only thing that changed was around halfway through they had another girl sit on the opposite side of us and if anyone was at the atl show she was literally the girl screeching when it was silent for olivia to marry her she was fr rude but she was younger so whatever ig. but that was our view for the rest of the show we got a ton of waves yves looked over a bunch we got some hearts my partner was fucking losing their mind lmao it was so so fun. i just rlly felt devastated for haseul her seat was immediately below us and she kept standing up from her chair to do little bits of choreo during the songs you could tell she wished she didn’t have to sit down :((( and my melody it was her on the stage along in her sling like how sad omg…… but she rlly did her best they made the most of an awful situation for them and i rlly appreciate it they were awesome soooo in love

Tumblr media
Pairing: Rockstar!Bucky Barnes AU x Female Reader
Summary: You meet your favorite artist and get more than what you bargained for.
Warnings: Smut 18+ (consensual and protected sex, oral [male and female receiving], vaginal fingering, belly bulge, light degradation) dirty talk/language and recording. Mentions of drugs and alcohol and a tiny bit of angst.
Disclaimer: I don’t smoke regularly, so anything that has to do with drugs mentioned are techniques I’ve outweighed based on what I’ve been taught by different people. I don’t know which method works best nor am I encouraging the activity. It just came with this fic’s territory. It’s not that deep. You do you, boo.
Title Inspiration: “Happy” by The Maine
A/N: I might or might not have based some of this on true events. All I can say is, life is short, shoot your shot! Enjoy!
A/N #2: There’s a Part 2 now!
Tumblr media
“You owe me.” Your friend next to you said for probably the third time this hour. You learned earlier in the day to tune her out. She had been saying that since you persuaded her to accompany you on the weekend long road trip to the neighboring state just so you could see your favorite band…again.
Growing up your parents thought this was just another phase, but as your teenaged years passed on by and you’re now well into adulthood, you’re still a bigger stan for The Avengers as ever.
The Avengers consisted of three members: Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. Everyone had their take on each of the guys, Steve was the nice one, Sam was the goofy one and Bucky was the bad one. It was silly. They weren’t *NSYNC or The Backstreet Boys, but the fangirls will be fangirls.
Their music wasn’t exactly mainstream, but they did very well within in their genre’s scene. They graced the covers of a couple of magazines, garnered thousands, close to millions, of views and streams online, were featured on TV every now and then, toured around the globe, sold a bunch of records, even independently, but despite all that notoriety, they stayed true to their sound and that’s what kept you around as a fan.
That and the band’s front man Bucky Barnes.
He was hot – plain and simple. Ok, maybe he was just that to most, including your friend who couldn’t deny it, but you didn’t want to objectify the man. What their music had done to get you through the years, they were more than that. There was a level of respect there. You also didn’t buy into the “bad boy” gimmick the fans have dubbed for him. They were human beings just like the rest of us. Imagine being called something like that by the public? They just so happened to be fortunate enough to share their talent to the rest of the world.
“You’ve already seen them. I don’t know why you think you need to for what a tenth time?” She clearly wasn’t amused by your infatuation with the band, but she was still your friend and she would always be by your side through thick and thin even if she didn’t have the same taste in music as you. You loved her for that. Who else would stand for hours in a dark room full of loud, sweaty, smelly, rude even, and sometimes drunk people with no self-control for you? She really was the real MVP.
And she was right though. You’ve already seen The Avengers perform. It was probably more, but you’ve lost count. Whenever they’re in your city or two to four hours in the next one over, you loved this band alright!
You both were polar opposites standing next to each other in line waiting for the venue doors to open. She was calm and still, arms crossed with an unamused look on her face – she could almost play as the “mom that tagged along and didn’t want to be there” – but you knew she wasn’t really mad. There was a bar inside she could occupy herself at. You on the other hand were trying to contain your excitement. You tried your best to not fidget around in anticipation so much. You didn’t want to sweat off your makeup that you managed to apply on point or get an embarrassing stain on your clothes.
“It doesn’t matter,” was always the response you gave her, “their music means everything to me. I’ll always come out to support them.”
She playfully rolled her eyes and scoffed a bit at that. She wasn’t trying to knock you down. She knew you deeply liked the band, but she also knew another side of you, and she liked to pick at it. “Yeah that and you’re into Bucky,” she said and just flat out poked at the side of your breasts. The bra that you chose to purposely wear tonight gave your boobs an extra push and it didn’t go unnoticed by her. They were out there, tastefully, since you were hardly the flashy type.
“Okay, but who isn’t?” You flare back swatting her hand away and trying to shut her down. You didn’t need to have this conversation with her while other fans were around. You didn’t want to sound like a fangirl. You weren’t 13 anymore.
“Chill.” She said raising her hands up in surrender. She wasn’t going to fight you on this one again.
When the top of the hour hit, the roar of the crowd signaled the doors had opened. Once inside, you hit the line to the bathroom considering you’d been outside for a few hours. You didn’t just have to pee, but you needed to freshen up. Your cheeks were a bit flushed from standing in the heat. You dabbed lightly at your face with a small blotting sheet, sprayed a bit of body spray and finished putting every hair back into place before finding your friend, who was already at the bar.
You sported a 21 and up paper wristband that was handed at the entrance, however you weren’t planning on drinking. Usually you had one or two drinks at most, but you were assuming you would be the designated driver tonight. You just always flashed your ID to the bouncer for the wristband to emphasize that you were of age. Unfortunately, some bands have had a bad reputation of fooling around with underaged girls, who lied about it.
She held up her drink to you with a smile on her face. Yeah, you were going to be the one driving back to the hotel, but at least she’s happy. She tried to coax you into ordering a drink of your own, but you only shook your head at her nonsense and stood away from the crowd.
As an avid concert goer, you’ve been to enough shows that you’d been in every section of the crowd. Hell, you’ve even gone crowd surfing before! Plus, you couldn’t hang with those vicious and hormonal fans in the crowd anymore, so you learned to enjoy the show from the back with a full view.
The opening bands were decent. You’d never heard of them, one was probably local, but you always believed live music was just as good, if not, better than opposed to being recorded and remastered at a studio.
During their sets, you caved and bought a drink from the bar, hoping it’d help to pass the time before the headliners came on. Your friend was seemingly on her phone when a random guy approached you asking if he could buy you a drink. The house lights were on. Did he not see the can of beer in your hands? You politely declined his offer and further advances until he gave up and walked away.
“Girl. He was cute!” Your friend said shoving you lightly.
“I wasn’t interested,” you shrug and taking a swig of your drink.
“You’re not being fair,” she started and seeing that you weren’t catching on continued, “you can’t wait around hoping that one day Bucky will notice you. Honey, he came here to play a show and make money not look for a girlfriend.” Okay, maybe that was a bit harsh, bursting your bubble like that and all, but her intentions were good. Bucky Barnes just set the standards too high.
She wasn’t wrong. Guys like Bucky meet new people every day, met girls probably way prettier than you. The majority of their fans were female because let’s face it, the guys had sex appeal and you know what they say…sex sells.
Looking around the venue, you took in the kinds of girls you were going up against. There was a mixture of women of different backgrounds and sizes decked out in different styles, but the ones who won most of the time were the ones that looked good dressed in risqué clothing and heels. Some of them probably even wore less make-up than you or none at all. You couldn’t understand how it was effortless for some people.
It wasn’t that you had low self-esteem. You had your fair share of internal struggle, so sometimes your insecurity played its part. You had your good days and you had your bad days.
You decided upon wearing something simple that you would be comfortable in while still serving a look. And the only other significant thing you did to your make-up was add in a little more shimmer. Yeah you wanted to impress, not sell your soul to the devil.
“Okay, but I just really wasn’t interested,” you said again hoping she’d understand. She did, aware you wrestled with that demon in your head always taunting and ridiculing you that you could look better when you’re perfect just the way you are. With an added bonus of telling you that Bucky was missing out if he hasn’t noticed you already, she ordered another drink in time before the lights dimmed and ear-piercing screams erupted to alert that The Avengers finally took the stage to headline the show.
Like each of the shows you’d previously attended, they were amazing. They poured their hearts out with each beat and belt. Every lyric resonated with you so deeply. There was just so much raw emotion packed into their performance. The beauty of concerts was that they were designed to let you forget about all the bullshit happening in the world for a few hours. They were therapeutic for you.
If you hadn’t known any better, you’d say your friend secretly liked The Avengers’ music because she broke you out of your shell and had you swaying along with her to their songs…that or it was the alcohol taking over her. You didn’t fight it and you allowed yourself to let loose.
You tried to give each member equal attention, watching them as they played, but you couldn’t help but keep your eyes on Bucky the most. They were just trained on him. His cheeky smile and onstage presence were electric. The mere sight of him, all sweaty as his clothes stuck to his skin accentuating his toned body so well, all but had you shuffling trying to ease your body’s frustration and mind.
The only time you looked away was when you swore you thought he looked at you. Making eye contact with someone on stage was kind of awkward sometimes, but with him it was almost intimidating. Believing he was probably staring at the girl behind you, you downed the rest of your drink, pushed that thought away and tried to enjoy the rest of the show.
A full set of songs that showcased their albums and a two-song encore later, you were driving yourself and your buzzed friend back to your hotel room. It wasn’t that far from the venue, electing to stay within its vicinity. Upon entering the room, you tossed the shirt you bought at the merch booth on your bed before removing your leather jacket while she face-planted down on her bed, arms wide open, letting out an exaggerated sigh of relief. You couldn’t blame her. It felt great to rest right after standing on your feet for hours.
Your back rested against the headboard, you knocked your boots and socks off a while ago and had your bare feet up on your bed. You hadn’t changed out of the rest of your clothes or even wiped off your make-up yet. Instead, you sat there skimming through the timelines of your social media accounts while you waited for your friend to get out of the shower.
You had posted a few photos and videos of the night to your story, like your outfit, a few of you and your friend sightseeing, and of The Avengers’ set. You refreshed your timeline and noticed Bucky’s account pop up before everyone else that you followed. It’s no surprise that you were following them on social media. You liked seeing them share the personal moments of their lives. They used to be interactive with their fans. Bucky had even once commented on the old photo you had with the band years ago.
You met them after a show when they were just starting out with their first full-length album debuting that summer. Now, they hardly came out because all it took was one crazed fan to ruin it for everyone else. Their popularity sometimes deemed it unsafe for venues to let them stick around so late, restricting them from meeting their fans.
You click on Bucky’s account and go through his story. There was one of a view of the open road from their tour bus, a clip of a song he liked, a cryptic quote with a deep underlying meaning to it, him getting ready to go on stage and then of the show.
He had taken a photo of the crowd towards the end of the set, asked fans to tag themselves if they could, because the crowd was amazing…as if they didn’t say that in every town they played in.
His caption read: “Awesome crowd tonight! Probably our best show yet!” topped with how much he loved the city. Sometimes you wanted to reply to his posts like he was one of your friends, but then you second guessed yourself knowing he’d never see the message, or he would and just ignore it because he was busy. You knew it was a long shot, but what did you have to lose and what is it that they said these days? Shoot your shot.
You didn’t linger on the body of the message for too long, settling with a “Great show tonight! You guys were amazing as always! :)” hitting send and closing out the app thinking it would conceal any embarrassment that might come out of it. It was a ridiculous thought.
After surfing through the channels of the TV and picking at the food you had delivered to your room, your phone pinged. You saw that it was a notification from your social media account, but once your face unlocked the phone and the subject appeared, you nearly choked on the drink you were sipping on.
Bucky Barnes sent you a message.
Your heart pathetically started beating really fast. The phone almost slipped from your hands as you opened up the toxic app again to read what he said. He probably just sent you an emoji or something.
“Thanks for coming out.”
That was it. Okay, what did you except? A proposal. That was a fair response. He probably had some downtime and was able to reply to people. You couldn’t be that special…but thinking you could strike gold again, you started typing up a response.
“Of course! Will always be out there to support you guys! Hope the city treats you well and have a safe rest of the tour.” Yeah, that was a good one. You say to yourself thinking that would be the end of it…except it wasn’t.
“Appreciate it. You know of any good spots around here?”
Nope. You did not. Do you look up some recommendations for him? No, that’s too much. Great, you’re having a conversation with him through DMs and you can’t even genuinely contribute enough to hold it down.
“No, not really. I’m not from here actually. My friend and I drove here just to catch the show. Maybe YELP?” Shit. You just might’ve effectively got rid of him with turning him to the Internet instead.
“No way! That’s love. Good thinking.” They came through in separate text bubbles.
Why were guys so short? You couldn’t work with that. You thought about it for a while but came up with nothing, so you sent the sassy ‘girl sticking her hand out’ emoji as a reply. Damn, you were really bad at this.
Several minutes passed by and thinking you were really done with him; you got another message. It was Bucky again and he sent you a photo. It was from your own feed; the group photo of you and his band mates all those years ago.
“I thought I recognized you.” You sat up straight as you read that message over and over, eyes bugging. Thankful your friend was taking her sweet time in the bathroom, so she wouldn’t see you all strung up.
What? There’s no way. That was a long time ago. Your thoughts spiraled at his words that had you blushing. He’s pulling your chain.
“Impossible. That was forever ago!” I guess two could play this game then.
“I swear. You tripped and fell into my arms that night.”
What the hell? He actually remembered that? Yeah, that did indeed happen. You had been waiting outside surrounded by a bunch of other chatty girls, pushing and shoving their way to get to Bucky first. By the time he turned to you and you stepped forward, you lost your footing and fell straight onto him. He played it cool, but then you heard Sam, who was trapped in his own circle of girls, signing and taking pictures away, that Bucky has girls falling for him all the time.
“OMG. That was so embarrassing, and I was so awkward!” You couldn’t even speak to him when you managed to hold your own ground. You were young then, you thought you effectively put that behind you.
“You weren’t awkward! You were cute and that’s what has stuck with me since. One of the most memorable moments.”
Yup, he was definitely pulling your chain. While you were ecstatic that you were interacting with your favorite artist, you couldn’t help but wonder why you. He was a public figure and you were just a fan.
“Is this weird?” Came through as his next message after your silence.
Oh, no. I hope I didn’t offend him. You might as well tell it like it is and get it off your chest.
“I don’t know...just a bit. Probably because I’m just a fan? I feel like you should be careful. I mean I should be too…” You really did wonder though. How was it that people of his status were willing and freely open to people they barely knew only to get threatened of being leaked and blackmailed by their own nudes or messages? What made them trust the other party so easily with that kind of stuff? They couldn’t be that dumb. Well, you got your answer.
“I don’t think of you or anyone as just a fan, but you are right…at the same time I feel that you’re grounded enough and a good person that we can trust each other. If that makes sense.”
You weren’t sure if it did. He still didn’t really know you.
“Awe, well that’s really flattering. I totally understand that because that’s how I feel.” Did you? There was a pause between that message and the next that would come.
“What’s your cell?”
Really? It was just that easy? Oh, okay then. Nonetheless, you still gave him your number. The DMs stopped and transferred over to text messages. You have Bucky Barnes’ phone number. What fan fic were you living in? Shit like this doesn’t just happen, does it?
The texts between you and Bucky went back and forth, some playful and some slightly suggestive, but you were completely oblivious to them thinking that was just in his nature. You found out the band was staying in for the night before heading back out on the road tomorrow afternoon off to the next city. You didn’t realize you were holding your breath when you stared at his most recent text asking if you wanted to hang out. It was kind of late, but you didn’t get a guy like Bucky Barnes asking you to hang out on the regular.
“Are you alright?” Your friend questioned breaking your train of thoughts. You could see her from your peripheral that she was towel drying the ends of her hair even though you’re still staring at your phone.
“Bucky sent me a DM inviting me to his hotel room.” You answered in a stoic demeanor, but it felt really strange coming out of your mouth.
“Okay. How long was I in the shower?” Your friend asked with her hands on her hips wanting an explanation.
You recount the details and show her the messages you and Bucky had been sending to each other. She scrolled through each of them and you could see the look of apprehension forming on her face.
“I don’t know,” she said her words trailing before giving you a worried look, “shouldn’t you be the slightest bit concerned?”
“About?” You ask taking your phone back from her.
“All of this!” She exclaimed her arms outstretched in exasperation and not understanding why you were so blinded by Bucky. “You briefly met the guy, years ago might I add, and you decide it’s okay to meet him at his hotel room in a city you don’t even live in?”
Alright, it did raise a couple of red flags, but you were a consenting adult and you lived a life of being cautious and in fear a little too much you wanted to be reckless for at least one night.
“I know you’re only looking after me, but I got to go for it. You know I like him! Sure, I may not know him on a personal level, but I’m allowed to have some fun, right?” You try reasoning with her. Just how different was all this compared to what people around the world were already doing with each other anyways?
She was a bit skeptic before reluctantly agreeing and letting you go but with the promise from you to be careful, share your location and his room number with her just in case she needed to save you or come after him. You thanked her for understanding and assured her that you’d be back before check-out in the morning.
On the drive to his hotel room, you thought about how you always imagined the different scenarios of what it’d be like when you’d ever meet Bucky again. What things you’d do differently or say. How you’d make sure to not trip or do something to embarrass yourself the next time. How you’d be more confident.
Parking was a pain in any city’s downtown, you ended up having to pay for parking twice in one night. Not surprising to you, they stayed in a nice hotel. It wasn’t over-the-top nor was it fancy, but it was definitely clean and a slight step up than of what was in your budget for booking a room.
When you’re finally at his door, you wonder if you were going to be catfished. Were there other people in his room? Were you really that special? Fuck it. Was the final thought, putting an end to the rest, and knocked at his door.
You hear a click and sliding of the chain door unlock, then you’re face-to-face with Bucky. He’s dressed down in sweats and a zip-up hoodie. He shoots you a smile and steps aside for you to come inside, there wasn’t much light offered to illuminate the room other than the ones the lamps attached on the wall between the beds and what little the TV could provide.
“Oh, thank God. You’re real.” Motherfucker. Did you really just say that?
Bucky laughed at that and you explained, honest with him, that this whole thing just felt surreal. He nodded in agreement, offering to take your jacket from you and a drink. It was alcoholic. Not denying him, you accepted it and waited to see what he would do next.
You watch him sit down on the king-sized bed with his feet up, one foot over the other. You’re standing there next to the dresser that also served as a stand for the TV he was watching a random show on. Not sure what to do, you set the drink aside, kick off your boots, leaving them next to the luggage rack, and sit on the spot next to him with a considerable amount of distance between your bodies.
It’s quiet and you’re trying to hush the voices in your head. Did he really invite you to just watch TV with him? Is this awkward for him? Oh, no. He’s going to realize I’m boring.
You feel the bed shift and you see Bucky is leaning over, opposite of you, to grab something from the nightstand. You don’t see much of what he’s doing as your view was blocked by his large back. When he changes positions, a brief spark of a flame emits from his hands. Your eyes trail up from his hands to his lips and notice it was a blunt. You were pretty sure this was a non-smoking room, but it wasn’t under your name, so it didn’t really matter in the end.
Of course, he did that kind of stuff. It was part of the lifestyle to be exposed to it. He took a steady hit and you watched as he exhaled slowly, a cloud of smoke disappearing into the air in front of him.
“Want a hit?” He asked passing and offering you the blunt.
It’d been a while since you last smoked anything. You tried it a few times and even then, you didn’t think you did it right. You stare at the neatly rolled blunt in between his thumb and forefinger, but not too long as to not let it go to waste and ash up all over the bed.
You steadily take it from him and carefully attempt to take a puff. Wrong. That puff was anything but steady. Not realizing how close you were actually sitting next to Bucky, when you tried to exhale you ended up coughing – terribly. Bucky’s face scrunches up as he braces for the impact of white smoke to hit his face.
“Oh my God,” you say covering your mouth in disbelief, but it was a bad idea because your body didn’t like that, and you ended up coughing even harder.
“I’m so sorry,” you manage to get out in between your coughing fit while passing him back the blunt and trying your best to waft at the smoke. Well, if you thought your first encounter with Bucky was embarrassing. This had to take the cake. It wasn’t proper etiquette to blow smoke in the other person’s face.
He waves it off letting you know that it wasn’t a big deal before taking another hit. He even begins to give you a few pointers to inhale in increments, until you get used to the smoke. You don’t even notice the long looks Bucky gives you hit after hit. You take a second to let the smoke stay in your mouth before you give it a second inhale, letting it process through your system before gently exhaling. It was a lot of fucking steps to remember.
“Don’t try to put too much emphasis into the exhalation,” he said as he watches you take another hit, almost perfecting it and with each puff and pass being deeper and longer than the previous, “see, you’re getting the hang of it!” He whimsically lifts his hand up for a high-five that you softly pat in return, but he seizes that moment to hold your hand instead, intertwining his fingers with yours.
The more you breathed in the more your body started to relax. All the edge was taken off and you felt good. You and Bucky continued to pass the blunt, smoking whatever was left of it and what he had with him, as you told random bits of information about yourselves to one another. By now, you and Bucky were leaning on each other, backs against the headboard, the TV barely audible as it continued to play a rerun of whatever that was on earlier.
“You know I really do remember you?” He says causing you to turn your head to look down at him. He has his gaze fixed on your hands, his thumb barely grazing the back of your hand. He’d been playing with your hand, drawing random shapes on it.
“That’s hard for me to believe,” you answer back truthfully.
“Why?” Bucky questions while looking up at you. He was in a slouched position, his hoodie and shirt rising up, allowing you a thin glimpse of his skin, while you sat a little higher up than him.
You admired his handsome face, the crease lines in his forehead, the faint and not so faint marks scattered all around it, his wet lips that shone when he ran his tongue over them and the stubble that surrounded it all down to his adorable nose. Then there were those blue eyes that once put you in an overawe of intimidation, were now a bit alarming in a new sense. They were swirling and growing darker.
“You meet new people every day, Bucky. There’s no way that I could’ve been that unforgettable to you.” You just couldn’t wrap your mind around that. Staring at him, you tried to read him, but you were too faded to concentrate.
“But you were,” he tells you in a low voice just before you notice his eyes shut and he leans in to place an experimenting kiss to your lips. He pulls back to quietly study your expression, and when you don’t show any sign of disapproval, he goes in for another.
This time with added pressure, more emotion, Bucky pulls you down by the back of your neck and casually slips his tongue in your mouth the moment your lips parted. Your heart started racing when you reciprocated his kiss, trying to keep up with him. He definitely liked to dominate. You could even slightly taste the blunt you both shared moments ago as his tongue tangled with yours.
He slips off his hoodie leaving him in a dark gray shirt. Navigating his body over yours, he pulls you down into a more comfortable position. He’s cradling the side of your face as your lips continue to move one another, getting hungrier and hungrier.
The movements cause your top to ride up, exposing your midriff. His hands wander down to caress your skin before you feel his fingers grip at the waistline of your jeans. You instantly grab his hand and stop him. This was moving all too fast for you.
Bucky didn’t press on it for too long and slipped his fingers out, running his hand back up your side and this time underneath what your tank top was covering left of your upper body. His hand snuck back out and started tugging at the material bunched underneath your breasts. When your top was finally discarded to reveal your red bra, he latched onto your neck, kissing up along your jawline and nipping at your ear, the sound of his harsh breathing sent a tingle at the contact and shivers through your entire body.
You winced when you suddenly felt one of his hands at the back of your head, yanking a handful of your hair causing your head to snap back. It gave him more access and you closed your eyes letting the sharp pain run its course and turn into something pleasurable as he practically devoured your neck. You could feel him inhale deeply, getting high on you, and possibly the lingering aroma of the drugs, and sucking tiny splotches onto your skin then licking to soothe them.
He pushed aside the straps of your bra as his lips travelled down your shoulder before stopping at the curve of your breasts. You briefly opened your eyes to see him fixated on your chest. He uses both hands to grope them.
“You think I didn’t notice these from the stage?” He asks now looking at you, squeezing and releasing them before pulling your bra down, your breasts spilling out of the cups. He instantly latches his mouth onto a nipple, while the other hand digs in between the mattress and your back to unclasp the bra. His tongue swirled around the nub, teeth lightly grazing and sucking at the skin around it.
You run a hand through his hair, it was a little sweaty and you couldn’t blame him. It was getting hot; you could feel the heat radiating off of him. It became even more apparent after he got rid of his shirt and you feel his clammy skin on yours.
He pulls back, straddling your waist, most of his body weight falling on his knees, careful to not to crush you. Your hands cascaded down his chest and rested at his thighs. You gave them a shy squeeze, something you’ve always dreamed of doing and you were only slightly satisfied.
Bucky flashes you another smile before he braces one hand next to your head and leans back over to fish something off the nightstand. When he pulls his other hand back you notice he’s going through something on his phone. Curious, you look at his face trying to get another read at him, but this whole night was just full of surprises. He finally looks at you before speaking.
“Can I ask you something and you promise not to freak out?”
It depends.
“Yeah…” Who were you kidding? You’d gladly get on your knees for this man. He swooped in for another hard kiss, your mind turning into mush just before you could get anything else out.
“I think it’d be so hot if we recorded ourselves,” his face was so close to yours making sure that your focus was on his and only his. He must’ve felt you shift because he allowed more of his weight to drop; he was closing in on you and it was like you almost had no chance of escape. You weren’t going to lie. The way his weight was crushing you and sinking you deeper into the bed felt really nice. You were speechless. He wanted to record a sex tape with you.
“I travel so much,” he starts listing off reasons why while still cradling the side of your face again, your hand bracing his forearm, and starts kissing your face, “it gets really lonely being on the road.” At this point, he’s probably kissed every inch, “I’d love to have this...it’d be so much easier for me to come thinking about you.”
Motherfucker. His dreamy voice speaking those words into you did one hell of a number because you were aching down there plus the way his hips dragged at your still jean-clad lower region didn’t offer much relief.
“I-I don’t know,” you hesitate for a bit. What if his phone got hacked and the footage leaked?
“It’s just for me, baby. I swear,” he asks with hopeful eyes.
Sure, you could’ve had the strength to say no, but you were more than willing to be everything he desired. With your consent, he sealed it with another wild kiss. The magnitude of it setting you ablaze.
Bucky sets his phone back on the nightstand, propping it upright, camera on front face mode to display the both of you on its screen, and at the perfect angle he hits the red record button.
It’s showtime.
He revisits the mission of removing your pants and is this time successful. If you both weren’t so faded, he’d probably have an easier time taking them off, but they were tight, and you were grateful he didn’t clumsily break your ankles in the process. Chucking them somewhere off to the side, with his fingers, he traces the top pattern of the matching red lace panties you had on.
He let out a faint chuckle commenting on how red is his favorite color. Oh, you knew. You precisely chose this set just in case you got lucky. He plants kisses to your hip bones, his lips evading the area that cried out for his attention the most, and slithered down the bed, so he had your calves now placed over his shoulders.
Bucky laid gentle pecks on them and came back up to start nipping at your inner thighs, most likely leaving his mark there also, until you felt the tip of his nose hit your center. Your panties were definitely a deeper shade of red at this point. He pushed your panties to the side enough to get started.
You feel the pads of his fingers begin to rub circular motions at your clit. The first wave causing your hips to jolt involuntarily. You feel the smirk that formed on his face against your thigh at your body’s response.
“So sensitive,” he says pushing your hips back down to continue his task at hand, “and so wet,” he added while pulling his fingers away to examine your arousal that coated his long digits. You don’t take your eyes off him and you almost forget how to breathe when you watch his lips wrap around his fingers, noting his eyes closed and how his cheekbones become more prominent on an already perfect jawline as he sucked them off clean.
When Bucky opens his eyes, they’re darker than before, clouded with lust. He roughly yanked at your panties, still in his other hand, effectively tearing the overpriced garment. After giving it a few more tugs, it was long gone. Headfirst in between your legs, Bucky craved for more of you. He licked a broad strip, down up, to your clit. His tongue teased your folds before dipping inside you, the intrusion causing you to gasp. Your body withered around desperately searching for a path to release. Bucky kept at it, his nose nudging your clit with each plunge his tongue made.
Not denying you of a finish, he adds his fingers into the mix, curling them to find that spot. Noting that your eyes had closed sometime during the act, he stills, and you whine at the sudden halt. Your hand aimlessly reaches out to his face. When you find it, you open your eyes and pick your head up to find out why he had stopped. Bucky offers one of his hands for you to hold on to before speaking.
“Baby keep your eyes on me,” he orders, and his eyes don’t leave yours as his head lowers back down to your pulsing heat. You struggle to keep your eyes open and head from lolling back in ecstasy because you desperately wanted to come. Fuck, he was so talented.
The noises as a result of his onslaught were downright sinful. Bucky’s hips started to ground into the bed trying to relieve some friction of his own. His moans tremble across your entire body. There’s no warning when you come, and you don’t even give him a chance to escape your thighs that clamp around face. Not that Bucky minded, feeling you clench around his fingers as he drank in more of what your body had to offer. Bucky only then emerges when your legs fall limp against the bed.
He plops back down next to you, but as he does so, he pulls you on top of him. Your lips reattach themselves with his and the raw nature of tasting yourself on his lips drive you both mad. He hadn’t even wiped around his face, so you feel the wetness on his chin scrape across yours, staining you with your own arousal.
Your hands moved on their own from planting themselves on his firm chest then working their way down the ripples of his abs, through the trail of hair leading to the top of the waistband of his sweats. You tauntingly pulled the drawstring to loosen it before letting it go and instead grip him through the soft material. Bucky grumbled at your actions, but let you carry on.
You palmed him, getting a feel of how thick and long he was. Bucky was growing whiny with each passing move your hand made, he took matters into his own and grabbed your hand, shoving it into his pants. Your hand instinctively wraps around his hard cock and you give it a light squeeze and a few strokes, generating long drawn out moans to spew from Bucky’s mouth.
His cock felt even better with nothing separating you two. Bucky’s pants and boxers easily slide down his muscular legs, which spread apart to give you room. You maneuver south to lie on your stomach, still in between his legs, and grab his member that was curved resting at his stomach and bring it your face.
“Wait,” he says almost breathlessly. Your mouth is only inches away from the head already weeping profusely. He sits up to rest on his elbows and retrieves his phone from the nightstand. Oh.
“Okay, smile for me,” he directs, and you follow his lead before your tongue darts out at his slit and follow the ring around the tip of his cock. You pull back to savor his taste for a moment, your hands spreading the pre-cum around his shaft. Your strokes are then accompanied by the long licks you give at the sides and to his balls that your other hand had been playing with. Bucky’s head rests on his pillow so his other hand could rest on the back of your head and guide you down his length. Your mouth immediately started to water, but it made it easier for you to bob up and down. He let you move at your own pace for the most part. Bucky pushed your hair off to the side, away from your face to get a better view of the outline of his cock poking at the inside of your mouth. You let his cock drag across the inside of your cheeks a few times until it audibly popped out of your mouth.
“Fuck me. I knew you’d be perfect.” His words mixed with his incessant moans were like honey pouring into your ears. He loved the way your eyes looked directly at him through the camera lens when you come up with a long tantalizing lick to the underside of his cock and crawling back up to straddle him.
Bucky gets a good shot of your flushed face and breasts that had some of your drool combined with his pre-cum running down your body before dropping his phone beside him. He sits up causing you to fall back down at the other end of the bed. He picks out a condom from the nightstand and you watch as it rolls down the length of his cock. You bite your lip watching it twitch.
He’s on his knees, but sitting on the balls of his feet, you are lying down patiently waiting for him. He swipes his cock through the wetness of your pussy, prepping himself to slide in. He’s watching your reaction with each pass his dick makes. Your body is yearning for him to be inside of you, to hit that fucking spot over and over.
Just when you think he’s about to do it, he’s reaching over for that damn phone again. Out of habit, you cover your face with your hands. Not only showing the last shred of humility you had left, but also because you probably looked like a fucking bitch in heat.
Bucky pulls your hands away, he still has the phone in his hands, and he’s got it angled to playback from his point of view before he finally pushes into you. He’s big, much bigger than what you’ve experienced, you think you need a moment to adjust, but he never gives you that opportunity and you find that it doesn’t matter when he feels so good. Too good that you find it hard to breathe with each thrust he’s making because he’s hitting it so deep. You push your hands out in front of you to his lower abdomen and attempt to slow him down. Bucky shakes his head and knocks your hands out of the way.
You let out an abrupt yelp at his retaliation to your failed efforts in trying to stop him with a particularly harder and much forceful thrust. Instead, your hands grab fistfuls of the hotel bed’s white blankets and just let him have his way.
“So beautiful,” he says spreading you further then coming down on you to reclaim your lips with his. He rips your hands from their tight grips on the bed sheets to pin them down next to the sides of your head. You don’t care where his phone went, just happy to have both his hands on you. The skin-to-skin contact just hit different sometimes.
The kisses become so feral you start to feel a burn around your mouth from his stubble. Bucky rolls his hips into yours deliciously, a damn true artist, the rhythm he’s got going sends you just about over but never fully beyond the edge to prolong the climax.
Much to your dismay, Bucky withdraws away from you again, back into his previous position, a new idea popping into his wicked mind. With his hard cock still inside you, he slides his hands under your hips and hoists your lower half up towards him, resting your ass on his thighs, effectively bottoming out. You don’t hold back at the way that made you feel and let out an embarrassingly loud moan. He holds still for a second and you’re not quite sure why. You try to move by wiggling your hips, but he holds you still.
He’s staring at how close your bodies are, connected, he moves just the slightest. It causes your pussy to contract and your stomach to tighten up. He does it again in different intervals, his eyes surveying the entire thing. The next push is a little harder and when you see the devious smile breakthrough his face, he does it even more. The thrusts are much sharper and almost painful, but it quickly subsides when you feel the head of his cock probe at the right spot.
Bucky lifts your hips up higher, your back arching in bridge fashion you weren’t aware you could even do until he resumes his new pattern of thrusts again. This new position aided his cock in hitting your sweet spot a little better. He’s filming you again and resting one of his palms on your stomach. He’s not only watching, but he’s feeling the bulge in your belly from the distension caused by the jabs of his cock.
“That’s my girl,” he praised, continuing to pound into you, “you take this cock so well.” The sight boosts Bucky’s ego and for you it actually probably wasn’t a good thing, but you’d be damned the angle did so many wonders to you right now.
“You love watching your cock go deeper and deeper inside me, Bucky?” You ask trying to look up at him from that position. Where did that come from? Your words cause him to freeze momentarily, but you could still feel his cock throbbing inside of you. He liked that.
Another impish thought running through his head, Bucky pulls out, picking you up so you’re also knee-height with him, giving you another searing kiss, then he’s behind you. He gently pushes you down, you on your elbows, Bucky leans over behind you, his soaked cock sliding up your ass resting on the small of your back as he places his phone back on the nightstand in the same position it had been in the beginning.
You don’t dare look at the screen in front of you, so you look down until you feel Bucky enter your pussy once more from behind. Your head rises and it wasn’t due to the surging pleasure, but because Bucky uses your hair as a rope to bring your body upright with his.
He thrusts up into you while he mutters incoherent slurs and lewd noises into your ear. He peppers the side of your face with wet and uncalculated kisses, his hands massaging your breasts before one of them migrates down to cup your pussy. His fingers dip in and starts another assault to your clit. You’re already tethering off the edge and on the brink of succumbing to him, but he just knew when to let up and keep you starved for more.
“Look at you,” he says, using his other hand to turn your head to face the small screen, the numbers continuing to go up. “You’re such a fucking slut for my cock,” you don’t argue with him and instead moan his name. “You like watching yourself fuck this huge cock, don’t you?” You couldn’t lie to yourself anymore; watching the two of you was hot. Your uncontrollable moans now muffled into Bucky’s palm. And he just kept egging you on, “I know I do. It’s gonna remind me just how tight this fucking pussy is.” Damn him.
“You want to come, baby?” He asks, the speed of his fingers picking up a notch.
You pull down Bucky’s hand to respond, “Mmm, yes. Fuck! Please let me come, Bucky,” you don’t know what has possessed you, but it spurs the both of you on even more. Your next words do it for Bucky, “I want to come all over your cock,” and he’s immediately coming and spilling into the condom, still inside you, you feel his release pump through him. He’s biting your shoulder, some of his weight coming down on you, his thrusts becoming erratic, but one did the trick for you and you finally let go.
And what drives Bucky even more wild, is that you don’t stop. You keep rolling your hips into him, riding it all the way out. Bucky’s trying to hold on, with a bruising grip on your waist, his forehead resting on your back; the aftershock of his release proving too much. Your release pours out freely, you feel some of it slide down the inside of your thighs mixed with sweat.
You sag against Bucky, each of your body weight balancing against the other. You feel him scatter lazy kisses up your back and pull your face towards him to press one against your lips, moaning in satisfaction. He slowly pulls out of you with a low groan, your body feeling numb when you fall forward to lie down on the bed. Bucky discards of the condom and shuts his phone off before settling next to you.
He pushes the hair out of your face, and you, facedown, peek an eye open. He has a more than content look on his face, you notice his eyes were back to their normal color. He allows some time to pass for you both to calm down. Sleep wants to overcome your body, but it doesn’t when Bucky’s touch puts you on notice again. He runs his hand up and down your back. He’s insatiable, but he didn’t anticipate your comeback in the end and put him in a daze. He could get addicted to you.
“Is it weird if I fly you out to Brooklyn?” He said out of nowhere. Brooklyn was thousands of miles away from where you lived. He wanted to pay your way to see him again. It was such an outlandish request. You’re starting to regain a more balanced sense of perception and thought, and you ponder on this for a few seconds. “Never mind. You think it’s weird,” he says lifting the blanket over his head turning his back to you. You could tell he was just trying to be cute.
“Oh, come on! You caught me off guard. You can’t blame me!” You respond, but he doesn’t budge. You muster up enough strength to sit up to lean over the side of his body, resting your chin on the top of his shoulder, and try to grab at the blanket. You pull it over his head and see the lazy smile etched across his pretty face. All you do is return the smile and close your eyes, basking in the post-coital bliss.
“Stay for the night,” came as his last request and turning to lie on his back, wrapping his arms around you.
You don’t think about your car, that’s still parked nearby or care if the parking rate is probably going up by the hour and start eating at your bank account. You don’t think about how pissed your friend would be when she wakes up in the morning and you’re still not back in time. You just think about how tomorrow he’d be far away. You scoot up to give him one more kiss before laying your head to rest on him and make the best out of the present. Happy that you went with your gut on this one.

A/N: This could flop. At first, it was easy to write, but then the ending tripped me up. & while I have your attention, please let me know, anonymously or not, if there’s an interest in a Chase Collins fic? Charles Blackwood smut, anyone? Anyway, I hope this delivered! Thanks for reading!

This is definitely one of the… wilder stories here, but as always, I suppose people will believe what they will.
This will unfortunately require some backstory, but I guess you could say the long and the short of it is that I played at being God, and it. Well. Kind of sucked, actually.
So, the backstory. I’ll try to keep it brief. I grew up in a small country village about forty-five minutes away from Belfast, Ireland. There wasn’t much going on there, as you could imagine – just a standard rural Irish town, where the most exciting thing that might happen in a week was old Farmer Joe getting a new tractor or something. Anyway, I’m not sure how many of you know about Ireland’s rather troubled past, but for the most part I missed all that. I was born around the time things were finally settling down, and while my earlier memories are filled with bomb scares and low-flying helicopters and gunshots in the night, the distant sound of shouting and the acrid smell of smoke burning a little too close for comfort, by the time I hit my teenage years most of it had wrapped up. Of course, there was the occasional scare here and there, and I’m not saying my friends and I didn’t go out looking for trouble once we were old enough, but it wasn’t the same. I’m not saying that out of a sense of, I don’t know, regret or annoyance or anything. Now I’m older, I’m not so enamoured by the idea of that much violence. I’m just saying it wasn’t really a patch on the kind of violence that used to happened there – the kind of violence that fascinated my friends and I so much. It sounds bad, but really we were just kids being kids. Little boys everywhere play at war games. It just so happened that the war we were playing had happened in our own country. It’s difficult not to be obsessed, when you see the reflection of history on the faces of every generation around you. Even slightly older siblings would know all about it – it wasn’t something you asked your grandfather, distant war stories over some vague European country that you’ve only seen on a map in your Geography classroom. This was our street corners, our high streets, the road outside the house. Here the grass verge at the side of the road where the bodies were dumped; there the lay-by where over a dozen people were blown to pieces. It was awful, but we were children. We were enamoured.
Anyway. The only violence we got really involved in was the summer rioting that happened yearly, like clockwork. It sounds like a joke, but that’s how it goes. You don’t need to know the details, but suffice to say in mid-July every year, the city would light up like we were back in the 1970s. Localised, of course, and still nowhere near as drastic as it used to be, but enough to get a taste. Petrol bombs. Police lines. Armoured cars. Water cannons. Unrestrained summer fun, you could say. But that’s for a bit later.
I’m a writer. I have been since I was four years old. Generally speaking I’m a horror writer, but I’ve branched into historical fiction a fair bit over the years. Living in Ireland, growing up how I did, it was inevitable that I would develop a fascination for Irish history. I was always a very curious child, my head in books, chasing up stories that would keep me awake at night. I never knew any boundaries. I would go after answers with military precision, asking questions, going places I shouldn’t. Dangerous for anyone, of course, but in a country like mine, where crossing the road could quite literally lead to your murder? It was reckless. I was reckless. But that’s the thing about being that age. You think you’re invincible. You think you can do anything.
I was about fourteen or fifteen, at the height of this obsession. I believe I was fifteen when I wrote this particular story, but it’s difficult to say. It was part of a series, and I was going back and forth on it and other projects for many years. Here we finally get to the point of the whole story: I had developed an obsession with Irish history, as I said, and specifically the more “modern” history – from 1916 onwards, the Easter Rising, the War of Independence, all that. I was fascinated by the Irish struggle for freedom, and while age and hindsight has lessened my… enthusiasm for the violence, I do maintain a strong opinion towards the whole thing, which is not the point here so I won’t get into it. What I’m trying to say is that my stories reflected this enthusiasm, and were undoubtedly glorifying in nature, and also at that age I was more concerned with living the fantasy than doing the research, so it was all very self-indulgent. I’m sure anyone who wrote at that age knows what I mean.
My main character… well. I’m sure you know what to expect. He was—well. Me, really. In the way of all main characters at that age, and perhaps a little even as we get older, there’s a piece of us inside all our main characters. Sometimes a little piece, other times just a cooler and more badass version of yourself. Michael was that for me. I suppose that must is obvious; I wasn’t even trying to be subtle. My name is of course Miceál, which for those of you keeping track is the Irish form of Michael. I’m just grateful that I didn’t go as far as to give him my last name, too, but everything else was there. He looked like me, he held the same views and beliefs as me, he acted like me – or at least, he acted in the ways I liked to think I’d act, or how I imagined acting later that night in the shower, reliving the scenario again. He was the best kind of self-insert character, indulgent and fun and a good friend to me. I poured a lot of myself into him. I poured everything into him. He was a constant companion, something that became ever more important to me as my real life—well, went to shit. To put it mildly. I would sit in my room writing my stories, and Michael would go out there and fight the good fight, killing and bombing for good old Ireland, and then I’d shut my computer down and go to sleep feeling just a little better than otherwise.
I’m not afraid to say that I can be obsessive. I like to get into the heads of my characters; I like to know them as well as I know everything. Yes, Michael was me, but he was also a version of me who had done things I have never done. Sometimes I would try to imagine myself as him; wonder what it was like to see through his eyes. Wonder what a me who had done that would look like. Wonder what he would do in a situation. I asked myself that a few times; a lot of times. What would Michael do? I could have put that shit on a wristband. I didn’t think anything of it at the time. I’ve always been a bit of a method writer like that. It was normal, until it wasn’t.
I first saw Michael on a hot July day, in Belfast. What we call the rioting season had come around; my friends and I were there to take advantage. Just at the sidelines, mind you – nobody wants to get a face full of water cannon, even on the hottest of days. Michael was in the thick of it though. Of course he was. I’d written him to be that way.
I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. At first I thought I must be seeing things, but the more I looked the more I realised he looked exactly like me. Only he was a little taller, a little fitter, and his hair looked different. His clothing was different, too; perhaps a couple of decades out of date, but looking at him I saw his clothing didn’t remain consistent. The changes were subtle – material, tone – but I noticed. Looking back, I assume it’s because I never did give a specific date for his story to occur in. Well, wherever he was from he was there now, throwing rocks with the best of them, skipping from stone to stone and hurling them at police lines with an easy swing that could only come from years of practise. When we had all finally cleaned out the area – soldiers coming, a helicopter, the kind of trouble you don’t want to toy with – I managed to catch up with him. He was talking to my friends. They noticed we were both there, but didn’t seem to realise we were two different people. The whole time we were all talking, I couldn’t take my eyes off of Michael. I tried, because I knew how obvious I was being, but I just couldn’t. I couldn’t work him out. I couldn’t even trust that’s what I was seeing. And the whole time, Michael watched me back. I knew the look in his eyes. It was his smug little, I know something you don’t know look. Of course I knew it. I had made him like that. I had given him that look.
I didn’t see him for some time after that. Believe it or not, I put it out of my head. I mean, come on. It was probably some other guy that my friends knew. We were in Belfast enough, and Michael isn’t exactly an uncommon name. I put it out of my mind, but I was sure that sometimes, I saw him. I was sure I’d see him in Belfast, ducking down side streets or leaning in close conversation with someone I couldn’t make out. He was always watching me. Sometimes I’d feel eyes on me and know it was him, but when I looked around I wouldn’t spot him. On some occasions – and these were always the worst – I would feel his eyes behind my own. Like he was on the inside looking out, moving independently in there, a set of eyes swivelling around over my own. It happened most often when I was trying to write his story. As you can imagine, I was nervous to do so. The more I thought I saw him, the less I wanted to write, but I didn’t think that was a good idea either. I didn’t know what to do.
It was a sunny weekend just before school started back after summer that I finally resolved to do something about it. I didn’t even feel stupid as I booted up my old Windows 95 desktop and opened Word. Michael’s story was there, in 12-point font as I always wrote then, plenty of enthusiasm but a lot less technical skill. My fingers hovered over the keyboard for a moment, and then I typed.
Hello?
Nothing, of course. I deleted the word, wondering what I had expected. Feeling a little stupid now, I tried to think about where to go with the story. It was difficult to write now I had some kind of real person to assign to it all – what were the ethics here? How could I—
I won’t get into that. It would be a philosophical essay all of its own. I sat for a while wondering what to write, and then it hit me that the story had changed. The words Michael had spoken, in the paragraph that I had left off – they were no longer the words I had written. I forget what the original words were now, but they were something relatively simple; some response to another character, and I remember that another name was mentioned in it – the name of Michael’s in-universe best friend, Eamon. Now that name was gone, and the rest of the text had changed, too. Now the writing read something different entirely.
I thought you wanted to know?
I lied earlier. I said that age and experience and perhaps some more emotional maturity had led me to turn away from the kind of violence that fascinated me so much then, and I have no doubt that under normal circumstances it would have done. I had somewhat of a speed run, however; I turned my back on it because
I’m getting ahead of myself.
I had often wondered what it would be like to do what Michael did, of course. To kill and risk death for a cause, to face down prison, torture, exile. I had wondered what it would be like to commit those acts; how easy or difficult it would be to pull a trigger or push a detonator. I liked to think, in my foolish, idealistic teenage mind, that if it came down to it I could. Of course, I was in the very privileged position to not have to actually answer that question.
Michael, on the other hand, knew. And Michael was, if not me, than a product of me. Could it be possible that he could show me?
I ignored the message for several days. I didn’t know what to think. Truth be told I thought I was going mad. School started again and I got so busy that I almost, almost forgot about it – and then I opened the document by mistake one day, got into reading it over, laughing at my brilliant comebacks, you know how it is. And there it was again.
I thought you wanted to know?
Yes, I remember thinking. It stunned me – I remember that. I didn’t want to mess with this kind of stuff – I’ve always been a huge believer in the paranormal, always been cautious when it comes to fucking with that kind of stuff. I believe that magic like this, it requires intent. It needs you to be sure. It knows how you feel, true in your heart. So even when I ignored it again, even when I deleted the words and re-wrote whatever the original had been, even as I didn’t reply… I knew in my heart that my question had been heard by something. I could feel Michael’s eyes on me again, though now I wondered if it was Michael’s eyes, or something else entirely. It felt like a weight. Have you ever been in an old, old place, where you can practically feel the people who lived and died there; reach out and touch them? It felt like that. Like the weight of history was pressing down on me. I didn’t fall asleep easily that night, but when I did sleep was dark and endless.
I don’t know how long I spent in that state. In reality it was only seven hours; I woke up with my alarm. In that time period, wherever I was – because I was not living – I seemed to witness a hundred different lives. Over the course of Michael’s story I had him do all kinds of things; live all kinds of situations. I deleted things, changed others, added things in. I wrote what would now be called alternate universes. In that night I experienced them all. I know how it feels now. I know how it feels to pull a trigger; to watch the spray of someone’s life splatter a wall or a windscreen or the screaming backseat passengers of a car. I know how it feels to push the button, the one that sends a charge surging down a wire or flickering out over my head in an invisible wave of death, notifying the bomb, detonating the explosives. I know how it feels to sit in a hotel bar across a border, listening to the news, sipping a drink and feeling my heart beat in my chest as I add more numbers to the tally, more blood to my hands. I know how it feels to be shot, to be beaten, to watch a friend die, to kill someone who used to be – who still is, despite everything – a friend. I know how it feels to cough blood into my hands, onto the ground; to grip a wound that won’t stop bleeding; the blinding flash of an explosive detonating too soon and how the whole world seems to roar and how there’s a difference between the thud and slap of wet mud hitting the ground and the warmer, denser rain of something that used to be human. For days, weeks, years – I walked in Michael’s shoes, I lived his life, I committed every act.
I felt his pain. His fear. This hellish world that he lived in, created to kill and die and lose and fear, over and over. To meet his God and to finally, finally ask – why?
And what could I say? Because I wanted to know?
Well. Now I do.

Escaped Crab
Summary: Virgil loses his soul animal in the supermarket, but finds it again when a call for a found crab gets screamed through the aisles.
/\/\
There was no crab anywhere near him and that was very much an issue for Virgil. It wasn't that he particularly cared for crabs as an animal, but that when your soul animal vanishes there's usually plenty of cause for concern.
It could have disappeared at any point from when he'd entered the store. Virgil had very much been hoping that today's grocery trip would be a quick task, go in get everything on his list and possibly something extra and then head home. Searching the entire store to try and find his soul animal was a concern he hadn't even imagined facing, and he was already looking around frantically for a clue over where.
The crab was a cantankerous thing, usually found clipping at his heals and causing Virgil to jump a foot in the air when nothing was happening by pinching his ankle. It had caused some uncomfortable situations when people asked what was wrong. Saying your soul animal was causing trouble was usually frowned upon given it was the way to meet your soulmate.
“Hello! Has anybody lost a crab? We have located a lost crab under the freezers!” The call through the supermarket had Virgil going to investigate. Either there was an actual crab loose and his knowledge from his soul animal might help get it somewhere safe, or someone had found his animal and revealed themself to be his soulmate.  It gave him a momentary focus for his steps at least, rather than frantically rushing around the store.
On the aisle, Virgil could see a man holding his soul animal above his head. The crab had a sharp grip around his finger definitely wouldn't be letting go easily. Then again, given everything about the man screamed for attention, from torn or spiked clothes, to the highlighted hair and ostentatious make-up. Seriously, Virgil might do some eyeshadow under his eyes that could get odd looks occasionally but this guy looked like it wouldn't be worse if he'd just scribbled on his face with felt-tip pens.
“I did lose my crab, but that looks like you've annoyed him to much to give back for a while.” Virgil called, getting his attention and that of the people stood either side of him.
One of them was dressed as though they'd just left a formal office and come this way. They turned to Virgil curiously“Well I suppose that does confirm that the crab is not just yours changing shape again. I'm Logan by the way, Non-binary, they/them pronouns.”
“His doesn't shape-shift, Logan. It's a spider. I've told you before.” The final person of the group insisted, before also turning to face Virgil. “Hey there, Kiddo. I'm Patton, He/Him pronouns and I'm sure your crab will come over to you easily.”
His soulmate was still stood with his arms in the air, one balancing the soul crab while the other was pinched and clung onto. He was looking at Virgil intently now as though waiting for something else to be said, a mischievous grin growing at his friends words. It was obvious why since there was a racoon perched on his shoulders, looking very close to jumping down given how little space there was with his arms raised.
Virgil held out his arms and let it climb over to him instead. “Don't know what you two have been told but this little fellow is not a spider nor can I believe it shape-shifts at all. I'm Virgil, He/him. Are you one of the guys that named your soul animal or have you accepted they are generally wild, uncontrollable creatures, that could only just be seen as tame?”
“Remus, he/him, and if I ever came close to thinking he was anything more than a wild creature I'd find all my clothes turned into a nest, or that he vanished into some tiny hiding place somewhere in my flat. Cautious dude, really, but no names ever matched who he his. If I need to call him, I just say Anxious Cuddlebug.” Remus had lowered his arms while he spoke, rolling his neck around a bit.
“Sounds like the opposite of that crab. It's literally chased me out of the house pinching my ankles when it's decided I've spent to long at home a few times.” Virgil snorted. “What does that say about how we're going to get along?”
Logan cleared his throat, “Well reason would suggest that Remus is going to bring you out of your comfort zone and into new experiences while if whatever his animal is likes to hide and make nests, then perhaps you are going to encourage him to take breaks, and slow down his relentless crusades for adventure or chaos disrupting the status quo of our city.”
Virgil raised his eyebrows at that, frowning a little. “Well that all sounds wonderful, but I've got shopping to pay for and would really rather get to know Remus without an audience, particularly of his friends. So I'm keeping this little guy, and Remus can follow my crab back later or something.” He decided, glancing from Logan, to Patton and finally to Remus.
He hadn't had any close friends since he finished high school and honestly felt a bit overwhelmed to be talking to the trio at once. That didn't stop him from relaxing when Remus was quick to start following after him, thankfully alone.
“That's the best way I've seen someone tell that pair to gets stuffed ever. Call them out for pushing their presence on us and walk away without ever getting scolded for being rude. They shouldn't be so mean as to pressure someone that prefers to hide, especially if your soul animal literally demonstrates the behaviour.” Remus bounced along, the shaking finally getting Virgil's crab to release his finger and instead cling onto a couple of the spiked wristbands he wore.
“You learn all the polite ways to tell someone to fuck off working retail. Does this mean you're following me home, or just back to my car?” Virgil asked, holding an arm out for the crab to scuttle onto him while they loaded the checkout with his groceries.
Remus grinned, scooping his racoon up. “Just try and lose me now, Smudges. I'll follow you to the end of the earth if I think you're an adventure.”
Virgil snorted, “Pretty sure that's your job, not mine. I'd prefer a movie night, watch a couple horror flicks that have just got released.”
“Okay, but tomorrow I'm dragging you with me somewhere. Maybe cliff diving?” Remus agreed far more easily than the crab had ever given in to Virgil. Thank goodness there was still a difference in the characters of his animal and his soulmate; He could cope with that.

Bringing a World of Adventure Hunting in to Your Home
Not everyone is not living in a position to wander the woods, desert, beach or ruins. I had that situation at one point in my life. And yes its depressing. And when you read others doing all these things its can really get to you. However there are a huge number of things yo CAN do to counteract the depression. Lets visit a good many of these things:
1) Everyone’s first Go-to is Roleplaying. Be its table-top or online. But not all Online games bring out the true desire to adventure, as they are limited to telling a specific story. As such I suggest avoiding using game maps and make you own real maps. Right down and study any runes in the game, study the magic tech in the game, write side stories of your character that can not be done in game. Create a history to the character you made. Some games are limited what you character looks like. Draw your own character and hang it by your game station.
2) If you have adventure wear, wear it about the house/apartment. Does not have to be all of it. Boots, a shirt, a vest, tunic, wristbands, cloak
3) If you  have the money and talent turn kitchen into a tavern or saloon, line shelfs with bottles and plates and other tavern/saloon wear. Avoid cheese props. Study movie sets and get ideas from that.
4) Likewise turn your bedroom into an Inn room. Go ristic and simple with natural colors and materials
5) Burn in a cauldron or censor wood chips, herbs and incense,
6) Hang posters of nature about the walls in natural wood frames. If you can obtain some old wood window frames, you that as your poster frames. If possible find images of nature on line and print them out. Try to make all the images co-inside, so its looks like you are looking out into the same view. Change the posters with the seasons if possible
7) Place realistic life-size animals about your home: Snake, turtle, mice, birds, chipmunks, insects. If you have a ficus tree or a cluster of plants, place a birds nest with eggs in it
8) Play sound effects and ambient sounds in the house. Youtibe and other sites have a plethora of ambiance and sounds from cave to camp sites, tavern sounds, market squares, pirate ships, forests
9) Add a fountain/s in your home. Fountain pumps can be bought anywhere these days,
10) Terrariums! Make them and add them to your home. Even of the plants are fake
11) Aquariums! If your adventurous aestheic love is the see or any water setting like ponds, these are fantastic to have. And do not limit yourself to just fish: Crabs, snails, turtles, frogs, lizards, snakes. Even if you are not allowed to have pes, build an aquarium anywhere. The flow of the water from the filtar moving the plants can lend to the imagination
12) Wood, tin and copper and wrought iron objects
13) Leather bound books. Line a shelf with them,
14) Candles and lanterns. Some people can not have things where they live for safety mode. Even if you never burn them, have a cluster of candles anyway. Just the look of lanterns and candles plays with the mind. You can also invest in battery ones but I think they are silly looking
15) Bowls of fruit: Wood bowls and real fruits and nuts about the house.
16) Seasonal and year round garlands and wreaths about the house. Clusters of ferns. If you do not have a green thumb, go fake if need be. Ferns and spider plans are my fave.
17) Drift wood and moss covered wood.
18) If you have your own Adventure clothes and gear do not bury it in a closet. Get a mannequin and display it,
19) Fur, leather, blankets, wool, sheepskin throws and pillows.
20) Banners and tapestries
21) Invest in a couple of mortar & pestle sets, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom is you have the room. (Confession: I collect them)
22) Hang herbs and dry plants in the kitchen.
23) Clay pots and assorted pottery about the house. Try to sick with OLD looking styles. Check out some sites or books on ancient styles for an idea
24) Antlers add a wonderful feel to ambience. Even if fake. Now they are made into door handles, draw knobs and so much more. (DO NO go hung deer and elk JUST for their racks)
25) Bowls and vases of snail shells, acorns, pine cones,
26) Rolls and displays of maps,
17) Glass and Ceramic bottles: Display a few or better yet, use them! fill them with shampoos, liquid soaps, drinks and what ever else you use and look at daily
18) Old style dip pens and ink vials on your desk along with scrolls of parchment and an old leather bound journal,
19) Color glass baubles like the ones at christmas time and “witch balls” These are great if your Aesthetic is the sea or in the Witchy profession,
20) Wood wand display. Not talking about Harry Potter here. Do a little reserach and find or make a REAL one. Display it on your desk or mantle staff. If you have a set, even better.
21) A Statue of an ancient god,
22) Baskets and wicker to hold things
23) Metal goblets and drinking horns
24) If you have one or several hand your shields on the walls,
25) Oil hurricane lamps,
24) Hang and display Gourds about. If you know how to carve and stain gourds, all the better,
25) Birds houses. In the house?? Sure, why not?
26) Feathers. Sometimes just a vase of ling feathers helps. If they are feathers you find in your walks, just as better. Each one has a story
28) Bowls of rocks. Not only does this bring the natural world in but its said that a bowl of rocks by the door and window wards off negativity.
29) Old wood boxes. Just do not collect them but USE them. put whatever in them as storage. Afraid you will forget what’s in it??? All the better. There is your treasure at the end of your search.
30) Corn dollies. These folk cultural dolls and designs have their roots into the ancient world. a display of them, especially during the late summer, really invokes the harvest season
31) Ceramic and wood bake ware in the kitchen. Ads a rustic tavern feel. This could include   bread boards and bowls, wood spoons, rolling pins,
32) Replace DVD covers with parchment or wood texture covers. Sometimes a wall of game and DVD cases can kill an ambiance you are striving for. If you can not print out all these coves, hang a tapestry over your shelf unit or add wood shutter doors
33) Cover your library of bright color books with leather, paper of plether, No access to leather? See of someone has an old leather jacket they are ditching you can cut up
34) Wood flutes, harps, ocarinas, pan pips, lyres and rustic drums add to a great tavern-ish display.
35) A tall vase of cattails gives ambiance for this that over adventures in places like rivers and lakes,
36) If you have a collection of crystals, sea glass and gemstones, show them off in a wood box or basket,
37) Halloween Witch bottles add to the adventure appel. (I have a buhnch and have all my teas in them,
38) Fancy yourself an Librarian or treasure seeker? Have a display of “artifacts” like (potters, tiles, scales, bones, glass, wood), Find some broken pottery shards and make them look like Greek pottery. If you sculpt make a remnant of a state or a bone or prehistoric tooth. Create your own artifacts and put stories to them.
39) Hang a bunch of leather sachets and small bags from a hook or sit them on a shelf,
40) Find yourself a rustic tea set,
41) Collect vintage clay and wood tops. Tops have been around since ancient Assyria and Babylon.
42) Display a collection of carving tools or depending on your likes, a small anvil and hammer,
43) Hand on hoots of rack by your door or wall woven wicker hats, leather caps and witch/witch hat, head wreaths,
44) Display an old stick/straw/grass broom head wreaths,
45) Display a helm or helmet you have in a place that speaks “I am at the ready”
46) Fold a small stack of old burlap bags and place on a shelf and use them to store things like potatoes and onions,
47) Display and basket of wood knitting needles and wool,
48) Grow plants, flowers, herbs and small trees. Even small pots of just grass adds a sense of nature and Adventure (The ancient Greeks would grow grass for their New Years Eve celebration) I have lemon trees in my windows I grew from seeds.
49) A Fish Net works great to add an aesthetic look to your space.
50) If nothing more find an artist and have him/her draw your aesthetic self as you see yourself in different poses, gear and situations. Blow thing up power size and hang them about your space
51) If you can not do any of this, create a physical scrap book of pictures and images that’s screams your aesthetic ideals. Visit it daily and add to it.
NOTE: While all these ideas are great starts, DO NOT over do it. Less is more. Rustic and simple. Avoid cheesy plastic props and things like signs screaming “I am a Proud Viking!” Investigate films, movies and history into your aesthetic loves and the world behind it. Do not create clutter. Make you space livable and function to your NEEDS. Make you space your home, not a museum. If your space is cluttered and does not bring you a feel of your Aesthetic feelings you may need to pull back on some of your props.

Part 21 - Let's be real for a moment...
Tumblr media
Your POV.....
I already was at Stark Tower. I waited 30 seconds more and Tony was flying next to me. We need to stop this machine before it opens the portal for the Chitauri. These brainless idiots can't even open a box, without shooting at it.... The Chitauri are a very strong group...but they don't own a brain for thinking. They can nothing but destroy. Loki got the most useless people of the whole Universe. They can't even speak ! Pathetic. We saw this... Selvig guy on the machine. Tony spoke....
"Shut it down, Mr. Selvig."
"It's too late ! It can't stop now. It wants to show us something ! ....a new Universe.", he said.
I snorted.
"You mean more, a new enemy with death. A new Universe is a whole new Timeline, idiot. What you mean is a new race of something. It's bullshit !", I said.
"You don't see, what we see..", Selvig said.
"Okay then...", Tony said.
He aimed....
"Stark DON'T !!!!", I yelled.
....and shot at the machine... A shield or something blocked it and threw a hard explosion around itself. The machine didn't even had a scratch. We flew backwards and Selvig got unconscious. I stared at Stark with a death glare and listened to JARVIS.
"The barrier is of pure energy. It's unreachable."
"Alright then...plan B.", Tony said.
Tony looked down and I followed his stare.
"Oh.....shit. Plan B is....what ? Kick Loki until he falls unconscious ? Heh...yeah...that won't work...", I said.
"Just trust me.", Tony said.
"Have a hard time to do something like that....sorry."
He landed on some weird platform. That thing took of his robot uniform. While he walks. Loki walked to the stairs.
"What are you doing ?", I asked.
"Trust me.", he said.
"Not until you tell me what the hell you think you're doing ! He can kill you, by just throwing you out of the window !"
"Just play our little game with."
I huffed and went with Tony inside. Loki was already and started babbling.
"Please tell me you're both going to appeal to my humanity."
"Uh...actually we're planning to threaten you."
I looked at Tony, then at Loki.
"You should have left your armor on for that.", Loki said amused.
"Yeah.", Tony said.
Tony walked with me down the stairs.
"It's seen a bit of mileage and you got the, uh, glow stick of destiny.", Tony answered.
Loki looked at his scepter in amusement.
"Would you like a drink ?", Tony asked Loki.
Loki still looked amused.
"Stalling me won't change anything.", Loki said.
Tony went to his bar of drinks. He turned to him and said...
"No, no, no. Threatening."
Tony turned to me.
"Do you want a drink...Lucie ?"
I nodded my head. Tony nodded and took a glass with something in it. He looked at Loki again.
"No drink ? Are you sure ? I and Lucie are having one."
He took two glasses. Loki looked outside and went to the window.
"The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that.", Loki said.
"Boah ! You are funny. Just because we ask you if you want a drink, doesn't mean we are friends now.", I said.
Loki looked at me.
"I wasn't finished, Mortal."
"I don't care, Frosty. The Chitauri are a bunch of losers. When will you see that ?"
"Liar. You played like you were Luciella first, but you are nobody. You are not her and you are just some stupid, ugly Mortal, who thinks that playing with a God is funny."
"I am not what you say. I know who I am. You don't ! So watch you Silver Tongue ! Or else..."
"What have I to fear ?", Loki asked me with a grin.
"The Avengers.", Tony answered.
Tony looked up at us, I smiled and Loki looked at him confused as fuck. Tony shrugged.
"That's what we call ourselves. We're sort of like a team. ' Earth's mightiest heroes'- type thing", he explained.
"When do I get my drink ?", I whined.
"Any second. Come here.", Tony answered.
I went to him and stood next to him. I looked at him with excitement. He filled the liquid into the second glass and gave it to me. I took a sip. Yummy.
"Yes, I've met them.", Loki said amused.
Tony and I smiled back.
"Yeah.", we both said.
"It takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But let's do a head count here. Your Brother, the Demigod."
Loki looked away maybe...disgusted or more angry.... While Loki looked away, I saw Tony putting on some Wristbands.
"A super soldier, a living legend, who kinda of lives up to a legend. A man with breathtaking anger - management issues, a couple of master assassins, maybe a second demigod with more powers then Thor. And you, big fella,"
Tony pointed at Loki, who looked now really amused.
"you've managed to piss off every single one of them."
"That was the plan.", Loki said proud.
"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you.", Tony told Loki.
I took another sip of my drink. Loki looked annoyed.
"I have an army.", he said.
"We have a Hulk.", we both said.
"I thought the beast had wandered off."
"You're missing the point. There is no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you."
Loki looked at Tony, angry now.
"Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it.", Tony added.
Tony and I took another sip of the drink. I drank it now empty. Loki walked to Tony dangerously closely. With a look, that would scare anybody, but not me and Tony.
"How will your friends have time for me, when they are so busy fighting you ?", Loki asked.
Loki raised his scepter, it glowed and blue magic danced around it. He touched with the top of the scepter Tony. .....nothing happened, just a cling was to hear. Loki lost his smile and tried again. ....Nothing. Loki looked at his scepter confused.
"This usually works..."
"Well, performance issues,", Tony grimaced and shrugged, "it's not uncommon."
Loki stared at Tony.
"One out of five -"
Loki grabbed Tony by his throat. He threw him on the ground, near the windows.
"TONY !", I screamed.
"JARVIS, anytime now.", Tony spoke.
Tony stood up and Loki grabbed him again by the throat.
"You will all fall before me.", Loki said.
"Deploy !", Tony called.
Loki lifted Tony up, still by the throat.
"Deploy !", Tony called again.
Loki threw him out of the window.
"TONY !!! NO !!", I screamed.
I heard a sound. I turned, Loki did also and Tony's Iron Man suit flew out. It hit Loki and flew out of the window in full speed. It was also more fixed. 30 seconds or so later and Tony was there again. Loki just stood up again.
"And there is one other person you pissed off. His name was Phil.", Tony told him.
Loki wanted to use the scepter and shoot at Tony, but Tony was faster and shot Loki. It hurts to see Loki get shot, but it's the only way to make him stop. Loki fell and lost the scepter. I felt something...bad happening. I saw a line of blue, reaching in the sky. The portal...it's open !
"Tony the portal !!!"
He looked up. The Chitauri came through the portal.
"Shit...", I cursed.
"Right. Army."
With that he flew away.
"And what about me ?! What are my orders ?! Babysitting the demigod, Lokster ?!", I screamed after Tony.
I saw the Chitauri shooting at Tony, but missing and Tony shooting and destroying the most of the Chitauri. I stared at Loki, who was smiling at me. I gave him my coldest death glare of the world. I went to him and slapped him across the face. Hard. He had a red mark and fell back to the ground groaning. He stared at me.
"What did you say, years before ? We are friends no matter what ? Guess what, you are wrong ! And what did I once say to you ? No matter who you are or what you do, I will always like you, no matter what ? Guess what again....I WAS A FOOL TO SAY THAT !", I screamed at him.
"You are not her ! Stop pretending that you were !", he yelled.
"Well, maybe you should turn on your God for saken brain and realize that it's me !!! It's my soul in another body you complete Moron !!! I grew in my exile too !! And you know what ?"
"What ?!"
"I am disappointed in you. Frigga and I hoped that you will find a way out, that you are fine and return to us. We BELIEVED in you ! We both cried over you ! Thor didn't do much anymore and Odin looked more shitty then you can imagine ! And now...look at you ! The oh so mighty depressed demigod, Loki destroys his chance of getting hugs and 'I missed you'-s ! I really was worried, you know ?! I was afraid he killed you !! Instead I see this thing here before me ! I can't even call you a person anymore ! You were my best friend and always knew what is right and what is wrong ! You always found a way out ! And now ?! MY Loki is gone, right ?! Did you forgot what you said ?! You never wanted the throne, you only wanted to be Thor's equal !"
Loki stared at me.
"You...are really....here ? You...you...are against me ?"
"I- Loki look around ! Of course I am now against you ! You are destroying New York !! You tell bullshit about 'The Tesseract opened my eyes and horizon.' ! What the fuck Loks ?! He is using you, like in Asgard Thor's friends do !! Wake up Loverboy ! This is another illusion, a lie he is feeding you !! I know him better than you do ! He won't keep his promise ! He just wants you to fulfill 2 tasks and both aren't your business !! They never were ! But you don't see it anymore !! He fooled the God of fricking Mischief and Lies !! Who are you again ?! The God of foolness ?! The God of 'I am too stupid to see a trap, even if it's right in front of my eyes' ?! You messed up, Loki !!!"
I had tears in my eyes and some ran down my cheeks.
"I was worried sick ! I always tried to contact you again, but it didn't work !! I just could wait and hope to God that you are fine and I will see you again !! Now I see you here, but as an murderer !! Tell me how am I carrying the fucking consequences for you ?! I loved you as a friend !! I- I saw you as a big brother ! I- !!"
I looked at him. He stared at me, with an apologetic look on his face. My tears streamed down like waterfalls. He came closer while I talked, I backed away. I looked behind me and....jumped down. I jumped out of the window and flew. I looked at him one last time.
"You don't even care. Why did I tell you this ? You don't even care..."
He wanted to say something, but I already flew away and into the fight.
'I am sorry...' - Loki
'I hate you. Get out of my head.'- You
'He really messed up.' - Heiko
'Can I kill him ?' - Ratchel
'No. Asgard will punish him.' - You
'Can I hurt him at least ?' - Ratchel
'Maybe. Darko is out for a few days...Mimi ?' - You
'Yeah ?' - Mimi
'Stop hurting my heart. Crying won't solve anything.' - You
'I-I try...' - Mimi
'Thanks.' - You
'Let's kill some dumb Chitauri.' - Ratchel and Heiko

02 - Not Alone
Summary: As tensions rise in camp between Bellamy, Wells, and Y/n, word comes that the 100 are not alone, and they have Jasper. Y/n journeys with Bellamy and the others, determined to save her brother.
Word Count: 2.58k
Based off: 1x02 “Earth Skills”
Tumblr media
You and Wells spent the morning burying the two boys who had died on the dropship after taking their clothes to give to the others who needed it. The air was fresh but the sun was hot on your skin, irritating you. When you questioned Wells about why he no longer had his wristband, he sighed and just uttered Bellamy’s name.
He put his jacket back on and you each brought half of the clothes you salvaged back to camp. Kids were beating each other up over things and pounding on makeshift drums and you rolled your eyes at the couple making out under a tree on the forest floor. Someone came up to you both and asked where you got the clothes.
“Buried the two kids who died during the landing,” Wells answered.
“Smart. You know what, I’ll just take it from here.” He attempted, grabbing the clothes from your arms but you turned defensively.
“We share based on need, just like back home.” Wells defended as Bellamy walked out of the drop-ship, shirtless, and some random girl following behind him.
“You still don’t get it, do you, Chancellor?” He asked, throwing a smirk your way once he noticed you before kissing the girl and sending her off. You had to resist the urge to gag.
“This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply.” He said as he walked towards you both and grabbed the shirt from your arms, a devilish smirk crossed his lips again when he locked eyes with you, causing you to roll them in disgust. Wells went after Bellamy as the boy stopped him, but Bellamy called his name.
“Atom, Atom, hold up.” He faced Wells again.
“You want it, take it.” When Wells didn’t move, Bellamy slipped the shirt over his head. You and Wells threw the clothes over onto the ground as every teen nearby dove for them.
“Is this what you want? Chaos?” Wells asked as he pointed to the pile of delinquents.
“What’s wrong with a little chaos?” Bellamy responded just as a girl screamed in fear.
You three went over to investigate, seeing none other than Murphy holding a girl over the fire. “Bellamy! You want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? Figured it’ll look better if we suffer a little bit first.”
You charged at Murphy before anyone else had a chance to react, pushing him to the ground and forcing him to release the girl, watching her scramble away from the scene.
“You can stop this.” You said, panting.
“Stop this? Sweetheart, I’m just getting started.” He smirked again as he looked around while you gagged inwardly at the nickname.
Murphy landed a strong punch to your cheek, the pain radiating to the rest of your face. You fell to the ground from the surprise attack but quickly pushed yourself back up and charged at Murphy, punching him in the nose. He stumbled but harshly punched you in the gut. Yout tackled him and landed punch after punch to his face before he overpowered you and kicked you in the stomach to get you off of him.
Bellamy stood and watched worriedly with Wells as the kids around you chanted. You channelled most of the anger you’ve kept bottled up into overpowering him once again, landing punch after punch before slamming him into the ground.
Getting off of him, you turned to Bellamy. “Don’t you see you can’t control this?” You said, pointing a finger to Murphy before wiping some of the blood from your lip.
Murphy got back up and pulled out his knife, boring holes into your back. “You’re dead.”
Bellamy finally intervened with a loud, “Wait,” And you thought he finally listened to you until he pulled out another knife.
“Fair fight.” He said before tossing it at your feet. Swiftly, you picked it up and twisted it in your hands, secretly relishing in the feeling of the dagger in your grip.
Murphy advanced on you but you turned, dodging the jab. He did this a few more times but you always bent out of the path of the blade, now thankful for the ballet classes you attended when you were younger.
You used his momentum and thrusts to your advantage, ducking and using your leg to swipe his feet off of the ground and watch him fall onto his back. You heard the air escape from his lungs as his back slammed on the ground, the crowd letting out a collective ‘ooh’ in sympathy.
He stood once again, angrier than before. He ran for you and extended his blade forward, ready to cut you on any part of you that you left vulnerable. You spun yourself gracefully out of his path, braids whipping your face in response to the movements.
He slashed your right forearm when you attempted to dodge his next attack and you groaned at the pain as some of the onlookers gasped. You then grabbed his arm when he advanced on you again, pinning it behind your back and putting the dagger to his throat.
“Drop the knife!” You yelled into his ear, the boiling hot anger of your past flowing freely for the first time.
“Y/n! Let him go!” Clarke called as you shoved him down and backed away. He immediately tried to attack once more before Bellamy stopped him.
“Stop! Enough, Murphy.” He growled before he got sight of Octavia.
“Where’s the food?” He asked. You felt the pain in your arm start to increase and you looked down at the slash, seeing blood slowly dripping down your arm and sliding off of your fingertips. “Where’s Jasper?” You asked.
“We were attacked,” Clarke responded.
“Attacked? By what?” Wells asked.
“Not what. Who. It turns out, the last man from the ground that died on the Ark, he wasn’t the last grounder.” Finn explained. Clarke went on to explain more, but the increasing dizziness made it hard for you to keep up. You kept your focus long enough to look around again.
“Where is Jasper?” You asked, this time with more intensity, glaring at Clarke, who now had a double of herself beside her.
“Jasper was hit,” She told you sadly. “They took him.” Clarke diverted her attention to Wells and you felt yourself swaying on your feet.
Every word that was spoken from that point on was just a loud ringing in your ears, the sunlight blinding you and the mild heat burning your skin. Someone started yelling, which made the ringing worse, causing your head to feel like it was on fire. You groaned as other people started to yell too, and then everything went quiet.
You looked down to see a small puddle of blood from your forearm as an echo of Bellamy’s voice called out to you. He entered your vision, splitting into four other Bellamy’s before you fell to the side and darkness engulfed your senses.
Tumblr media
You woke back up on the drop-ship with Monty and Clarke. You groaned and saw your arm was patched up. “What happened?” You asked groggily.
“You collapsed. The cut Murphy gave you was pretty deep, but I fixed it up for you.” Clarke stood when you nodded, along with Monty.
“Where are you guys going?” You stood with them as Clarke looked back at you.
“I’m going to go get Jasper. You’re staying here.” She demanded.
“No.” You defied. “I’m going with you.”
She scoffed and put a hand on your shoulder. “No, you’re not.”
“Yes, I am. He’s practically my brother, Clarke. He's all I have left, I can’t lose him. Let me come. Please.” Your strong and steady voice turned soft and pleading as you held her wrist loosely. She sighed and nodded before walking out, turning back once more to talk over her shoulder.
“Be careful while we’re out there, or so help me God.”
You met up with Clarke and Wells, noticing that Bellamy and Murphy were coming along as well. Scoffing, you fell into line with a currently feuding Wells and Clarke as Bellamy called out to you.
“Hey, sweetheart! You sure you should be out here?” The taunting smirk that you saw on his face when you turned around to answer him caused more anger to boil up inside you but you calmed yourself and turned to face straight ahead again as you replied.
“More qualified than you, Blake.” The sure tone in your voice caught Bellamy off guard as Murphy began to laugh, but a whack and groan were heard before he stopped.
After walking through the woods for a while, you walking the fastest, Bellamy spoke up again.
“Hey, hold up! What’s the rush? You don’t survive a spear through the heart.” He asked, waving his gun around.
“Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear hit his heart, he would have died instantly. It doesn’t mean we have time to waste.” Clarke said.
She turned to continue but Bellamy grabbed her wrist. “As soon as you take the wristband off, we can go.” He smirked.
“The only way the Ark is gonna think I’m dead is if I’m dead.” She sneered and Bellamy let go with a smug smile on his face. You, however, continued walking.
“Can we hurry this up? God, if we didn’t need you I’d take that gun and shoot you myself.” You spat.
Finn then came through the shrubbery and decided that everyone split up, taking Clarke with him and going ahead while you, Wells, Murphy, and Bellamy stayed behind before carrying on a bit further behind. You take up the rear and drowning everything out, allowing the thoughts about what could have happened to Jasper take over.
You could still hear Bellamy’s voice, adding annoyance to the worry you had already felt for the one person left in your life, you were growing impatient. You shoved both Bellamy and Wells’s shoulders as you pushed to the front of the group, walking further ahead; so much so that you couldn’t see the group or hear them. Clarke then called out yours and everyone else’s names, so you ran across the river, hopeful until you saw the blood on the rocks.
You stopped as dread filled your heart, catching sight of the goggles in Clarke’s hands. Choking back a sob, you took them from her outstretched hands. Everyone else was still a little further behind, so you allowed yourself to stroke the lens of the goggles with your thumb.
“I, uh,” You sniffed, a sad smile gracing your features. “I gave these to him for his eleventh birthday. He always talked about the snowboarders we read about in school and I found those at the redistribution centre one day and thought they were perfect. I don’t think he’s taken them off since.”
The others caught up with you and Finn led the trail up a small creek that runs into the river. “Hey, how do we know this is the right way?” Murphy asked.
“We don’t. Spacewalker thinks he’s a tracker.” Bellamy said sarcastically. As you kept walking, Finn noticed a broken branch hanging off of a small tree. He followed it to the ground, where a few drops of blood coated a rock.
You all looked up when you heard a moan of pain in the distance. “Now would be a good time to take out that gun,” Clarke said as she got up from the crouched position. You all jogged through the woods and came to a halt when you saw a clearing.
There, tied up in a tree, was your best friend. Your brother. “Jasper,” you whispered, putting a hand on your mouth.
“Jasper!” You called out, speeding up as you got closer. You didn’t want to lose him, not again. Finn warned you to be careful as you pushed past him and Clarke, Bellamy not far behind you. You started picking up your pace before the ground gave way beneath you and you were falling into a pit of spikes.
Bellamy’s hand shot out and grabbed your uninjured wrist, and you saw him debating if he should lift you up or not. He and the others pulled you up and Clarke helped you stand as she asked if you were okay. You kept your eyes on Bellamy as you nodded at her, telling her you were okay before focusing on Jasper.
“We need to get him down.”
Wells offered to climb up and cut the ties along with Finn, who told him to stay behind. Instead, he called on Murphy. “There’s a poultice on his wound.” Clarke pointed out.
“Medicine? Why would they string him up just to use him as live bait?” Wells asked, sending an apologetic glance your way.
“Maybe what they’re trying to catch likes it’s diner breathing,” Bellamy answered. Finn looked over to the four of you before adding a grim comment.
“Maybe what they’re trying to catch is us.”
There was a low growl as Finn and Murphy cut Jasper down from the tree. Then, what you knew to be a panther pounced out of the trees as Clarke called to Bellamy to use his gun. Instead, Wells started to shoot at it, which instead angered it more. You and Bellamy lost sight of it in the shrubs, but it attacked once more as you pushed Bellamy backwards. The panther was shot down by Wells, but not before it could re-open the cut you’d gotten earlier in the day.
Wells dropped the gun and Bellamy told him, “Now she sees you.” You didn’t understand what he meant by that, but Clarke immediately came to your side with bandages. She wrapped up your arm once more.
“I don’t have anything to stitch it back up with, it’s all at camp. Just keep pressure and hold your arm up, okay?” You nodded at her advice and winced when she put pressure on the wound. Standing up, she elevated your arm and you kept it pressed against your chest as they wrapped up the dead panther for food and got Jasper down from the trees.
Tumblr media
You stayed next to Jasper the whole way back to camp, going inside with Wells, Finn, and Clarke to help. You heard people cheering for the kill that Bellamy and Murphy brought back as you helped bring Jasper to the third level.
You helped clean Jasper of the dirt and blood, being extra careful around his wound. Once you and Clarke had done what you could for the night, you pulled his goggles from your sack and put them on your head, keeping them close until Jasper woke up and healed. Once you were out of the dropship, you saw people lining up to get their wristbands taken off for food.
Finn walked up and took a stick off of the fire and walked away with Clarke. Another boy in line tried to do the same but Bellamy stopped and punched him. You didn’t care what he did to you, but you did the same as Finn. Walking off with your first bite of food in two days, Murphy looked to Bellamy.
“Hey! Are you not gonna do anything about her?” He asked angrily. Bellamy put his hand up to stop Murphy, who was about to pursue you.
“Stop. Not this time.” Murphy scoffed and went back to taking people’s wristbands off, while Bellamy watched you walk into the forest, just past the wall, before walking off himself to go on the first watch.

Progressive Possession (Leah Williamson x Reader)
Tumblr media
Leah was one of the most level headed and mild mannered people you had ever met in your life. Yes, she got frustrated and angry, but she always dealt with it in the most reasonable way possible. Jealousy, however, that was a different story. Leah wasn’t easily made jealous, but it took your Arsenal teammates less than two weeks of planning behind your backs to figure out what would and wouldn’t make Leah jealous.
You had to commend them for their patience. They may have figured out how to make Leah jealous early on, but they waited almost a full season to act on any of it. You weren’t sure if they were waiting for something specific or not, but Emma Mitchell was the first to make a move before her trade over to the Spurs.
“Hey cutie,” Emma greeted you with a smile. You smiled and waved at her. “Whatcha doing?”
“Tying my shoes,” you said and Emma nodded. “What are you doing?”
“I was wondering if you wanted to get a coffee with me later. Leah’s going to check out equipment and I know that you don’t like being left all alone in your apartment,” Emma said. Leah’s ears perked up and she quickly turned her head over to see Emma talking to you. Emma was leaning over you with her hand resting on the wall over your head. You were looking up at her and there was a light blush on your cheeks.
“That sounds great, I’ll see you after I shower back at my place,” you said and Emma nodded.
“I’ll pick you up in about 45 then,” Emma said and you agreed with that. Leah was a little moody on the drive home, so you didn’t talk to her. She dropped you off and then just left.
The next time that they made a move to make Leah mad, they had sent Beth up to do it. Leah had already been watching you. Tensions in the apartment were a bit high since the whole coffee thing with Emma had went down. Leah kept an extra watchful eye on you during practice. She had been too distracted by Emma to realize that Beth was going to be the next person sent after you.
“Let me get that for you,” Beth said, grabbing your bag for you. You thanked her and she just smiled. A part of you was a little confused, normally Beth carried Danielle’s things around for her. All you thought on it really was that they must be having another rough patch. “You seem a little stressed.”
“A bit,” you said and Beth put her hand on your back. She walked with her arm around you towards the locker room. You were playing a game against Manchester United and so once you saw Jackie it made more sense why Danielle wasn’t by Beth’s side and vice versa.
“What are you doing after this?” Beth asked and you shrugged. “Well, win or lose, Casey Stoney invited a bunch of the girls out to a club after the game. She said that there’s enough respect between the two teams that we should be able to enjoy a night out. Also, I hear Alex Scott is stopping by.”
“No way!” you exclaimed and Beth nodded. “Of course I’ll be there.”
Leah glared daggers at Beth as she walked past the two of you. Leah doted on you before you went out, almost like a warning to the other girls not to come near you. It wasn’t aggressive really, so it wasn’t picked up that well. All that meant to the other girls was that they needed to up their game. You had noticed Leah becoming slightly more possessive since that morning. Leah gave you her extra hair tie to wear on your wrist and had taken your wristband to wear out onto the field.
“It’ll be cute,” Leah said, giving you a quick kiss. She wasn’t normally one for PDA, but you appreciated it. Leah was a little off her entire game and outright refused to pass Beth the ball. You thought it was a bit ridiculous from the goal, but you didn’t mention it. Danielle scored a goal and then ran all the way back to you for a celebration.
“Dancing partner?” Danielle asked and you nodded. “Great!”
That was a mistake on your part. Leah was against you going out with the team, especially when she found out that Beth had invited you out. Still, you went and dragged Leah along with you. She had tried to dance with you as much as possible, but eventually was sort of sick of dancing. You took a break to get a drink and then Danielle dragged you out and onto the dance floor.
She didn’t necessarily dance with you, but rather on you. Leah immediately noticed this and clenched her fists at the sight of it in anger. Danielle kept dancing on you and after a couple minutes, Leah went over and wedged her way in. Danielle just laughed and subtly signaled the secret weapon over. It was over whenever Alex Scott joined the mix. Alex slipped in behind Leah, effectively blocking your girlfriend out. Alex turned around and slipped her arms around your neck. You looked up to see what was happening and immediately started blushing at the close proximity to your idol.
“Hey, no!” Leah yelled. She moved Alex back and pulled you away from both of them. She made a show of kissing you in front of everybody. She pulled away and stormed off. You followed after her and your Arsenal teammates followed after you.
“Leah, please stop!” Leah stopped at your plea and turned to face you.
“Am I not enough for you?” Leah asked, tears in her eyes. You shook your head and pulled her towards you. “Why do you keep running off with everyone else then?”
“I’m not. Emma asked me to go to coffee with her, so I did. Beth invited me out, I wouldn’t have come if you didn’t with me honestly. I promised Danielle a dance after her goal,” you said and Leah was waiting for an explanation for Alex. You honestly didn’t have one, you didn’t know what that was about. “I’m sorry if I made you feel bad at all. Come on, let’s go back to the hotel. I dragged you out here, I think it’s fair that we leave when you want to.”
“Before you guys go, we’re sorry. We were just trying to see how jealous we could make Leah,” Beth said and Leah looked like she was about to kill them. You decided to defuse the situation before it could escalate anymore and just pushed Leah down the sidewalk.
“I’m gonna kill them,” Leah muttered as she leaned against your side. She was being very touchy, which was your favorite bit of her being possessive. She had been through the watching you, anger, and sadness to get to the clingy part you rarely got to experience. “I’m sorry for causing a scene.”
“It’s fine, that’s not a scene. Fifteen more seconds of Alex dancing on me and there would have been a scene,” you said and Leah had to admit you were right.
“We’d be banned from Manchester,” Leah laughed.

“C’mon mate! It’ll be a good laugh and maybe you’ll at least get talking to a new chick. You need to forget about Jodie.” Calum stared at Luke for a full minute before sighing.
“Fine. But I swear to god if you’re trying to set me up Hemmings, I will hunt you down and give Sierra something to complain about.” Calum scowled and Luke smirked.
“I’m a music major, not a football player.” Calum snorted.
“So I’ll just break your hands. Don’t play me Luke.” Luke met Calum’s stare for a full minute before huffing.
“God, why are you so fucking difficult sometimes?” Calum knew that the barb was playful and the smile took away any bite from his words. “It’s colour coded. There are glow sticks at the door, they’re pretty strict on this rule because these parties have had such high success rates and minimal damage.”
Calum raised a dark eyebrow at Luke who grinned from his spot on the couch.
“You could’ve said this at first. I’d have been more inclined to not argue with you then.” Luke shrugged.
“You’re still coming, regardless. Green is single, red is taken. Yellow is looking for friends. They even have colour choices for gender preferences. Pink if you’re looking for ladies, blue if you’re looking for a man. Purple for any.” He continued the explanation and Calum nodded, silently letting him know as he continued through his photos.
“What time is the party?” Calum finally looked up from his finished photos and Luke beamed in relief.
“It starts at eight, curfew is two.” Calum sighed before holding down the home button on his iPhone.
“Hey Siri, set a reminder to get ready for the party at seven thirty.” The automated voice replied with the reminder set and Luke laughed.
“Trust me Cal, you’re gonna love it.” He pushed himself up off the sofa, heading towards the door. “Want me to pick you up any food? I’m gonna get some snacks and a couple of beers?” Calum shook his head at Luke who saluted before disappearing out of their dorm and he sank down into his spot, going through the images.
He enjoyed this side of his work but with the notepad beside him, he made the notes of annotations for later, knowing that he was never going to remember each choice later on.
He’d barely heard Luke returning. His eyes studying each photo until he reached the last one, stretching out his back as he glanced at the time.
Six thirty.
Opening a word document, he re-adjusted himself before he began to type, checking references of each photo and noting down even the smallest changes compared to the original.
It was the shrill reminder going off that jolted him from his annotating and he scowled at his phone for a second before reminding himself that he promised Luke and he could come back to this in the morning.
Once his work was saved, he collected his stuff and made his way back to his room. It didn’t take much for him to put on a fresh black button up, leaving the top few buttons undone, swapping his grey joggers for the black dress pants, tucking the shirt into his waist as he stood in front of the mirror, eyes studying his blond hair.
It took him less than five minutes to sort his hair out, fingers running some gel through the strands and pushing it into a quiff. A dab of cologne later and some deodorant, he stepped out of his room just as Luke did who had opted for an olive green shirt, seemingly sharing the same idea as Calum to leave the top few buttons undone.
Luke grinned at him, curls falling to the side.
“Look at you all dressed up.” Calum pushed his friends shoulder with a laugh before they headed into their kitchen, pulling out and sharing a couple of beers.
“Just because I prefer to hide behind the camera doesn’t mean I’m completely useless, Luke.” They both laughed before there was a knock at their door and Luke headed over to open it, letting in two of their other friends.
It was definitely a group that many wouldn’t have thought friends. Ashton was the star football player, majoring in business with a minor in music. Michael was majoring in music with Luke, taking a minor in english. And there Cal was, doing his major in photography and media studies, whilst doing a minor in music. It was the one thing that had joined the four of them together and their friendship had bonded almost instantly and it’d been tight since day one.
“You’re coming out with us to the party? Wicked!” Ashton greeted Calum, pulling him into a one armed hug before the two pulled away, wide grins on their faces.
“Luke had me convinced, otherwise I’d have been hidden in my room working on the fuckin’ annotations of every single photo I’ve been editing.”
“You definitely need to let loose tonight. And I’m going back to Sierra’s place if you do decide to bring any ladies back.” Luke waggled his eyebrows, making the other two laugh as Calum’s cheeks flushed a light pink.
“You’re all assholes and I’m not drunk enough to deal with you all. Who’s up for shots?”
By the time the four boys had piled themselves into an Uber, once they arrived to the club that was hosting the party, Luke smirked at the line of people waiting to get in.
Once he’d given their names and they’d flashed their I.D’s to the bouncer, groans erupting from the queue that was steadily growing longer, they shared matching grins as they headed to the small station, a young guy monitoring the glowsticks.
Calum could see the benefits, snapping a green and pink one around his wrist, watching as Luke snapped red and yellow around his wrists, whilst Ashton followed his lead and instead of a pink, Michael snapped a purple one around his wrist, earning a look from Luke.
“You guys knew.” Michael deadpanned and Luke snorted.
“But tonight of all nights you’re going to practically announce to campus that you like both?” Michael shrugged, a grin on his lips.
“No better way to do it really. And hey, if I meet someone cute, even better.” This made Calum laugh as they headed into the main area, the loud bass thudding through the floor as the four of them reached the bar, Calum raising a twenty to flag down the bartender.
Once drinks were ordered and paid for, they kept to their group before Sierra showed up and pulled Luke onto the dancefloor. Michael split off not long later and then it was just Ashton and Calum, surveying the group of young adults, dancing, drinking and just generally having fun.
That was when Calum first spotted her, a gleaming purple wristband paired with green, chatting up a pretty blonde who was wearing a pink one. Her eyes met his as she looked around for a second, a smirk flickering onto her lips. He nodded towards her, a smile on his own as he watched the two disappear amongst the crowds and he found himself chatting with a few girls who had the red and yellow bands around their wrist, the conversations easy, even after Ashton had his attention captured by another girl, making Calum laugh.
He continued to drink, content to stay close to the bar as people chatted with him and went, Callie from his class appearing with her girlfriend in tow, wrapping him in a hug as her usual greeting before promising to catch up with him over lunch in the next couple of days.
Eventually he pushed off from the bar and headed out to the smoking area. Pulling the cigarette to his lips, lighting up, he felt a delicate shoulder tap and his eyes turned to see the same girl he saw earlier, the purple wristband still around her wrist and a bright smile on her face.
“Sorry to bother, but could I borrow your light?” He returned her smile and held the lighter out to her. “Thanks man.”
“No problem. You enjoying the party so far?” His question set off a smug grin and his brain registered the girl she’d been talking with before.
“I mean, I’ve certainly enjoyed it so far. Enjoying not having any worries or having to take anyone back to my place.” And Calum chuckled.
“Nice. I’m Calum.”
Despite not originally wanting to go, Calum left the club with her number, piling into an Uber with Michael who had decided to call it quits when it hit one am. Luke and Ashton couldn’t be found and both knew that if they needed help, they’d call.
Calum fell into bed easily, the silence of his dorm comforting as he fell asleep, head buried in the covers.
The next morning, he was woken by his usual alarm, a groan escaping and his mouth tasting like cotton as he threw an arm over his eyes whilst he twisted onto his back, determined not to open his eyes as he blindly fumbled for his phone, managing to hit the off button before turning back over to shove his face into the pillow.
He was far from a morning person and he felt annoyance at himself build up for having not switched off his alarm.
Glancing at his phone, he noticed a new name on his screen, alerting him to a new message. Clicking on it he felt himself remembering the rest of the night before.
‘Thanks for not being a dick when I turned you down. If you’re up for it, how about grabbing some lunch. I want to learn more about this photography exhibition you’re lookin’ to make.’
He laughed before replying with an affirmative, to which she sent one of the local cafes which wasn’t inhabited by students. Glancing at the time, he saw he still had a couple of hours, so he allowed himself a couple of more hours rest.
When he finally made his way to the small cafe, he spotted her easily and pointed to the menu board. She lifted her own drink up, indicating that she’d already gotten her order in, so he went and made his order, picking up the iced coffee before making his way to where she sat.
“Nice to meet you properly in the daytime.” She teased and he offered a shy grin in return.
“If I hadn’t left my alarm on, I doubt I’d have left my dorm before sunset.” The comment was casual, making her laugh as their food orders were called up.
“Grab some napkins for us, please?” She asked as she went to collect their food before he had a chance to offer to get hers. Rolling his eyes with a playful smile, he went and did that, collecting cutlery before returning to the table.
The smell of their food set Calum’s stomach off and he realised how hungry he actually was when he took the first bite of food.
“So, last night.” Calum finally started after they’d both had a few bites of their respective meals.
“Hm?”
“How come you did turn me down? Out of curiosity.” Her eyes turned wary and he held his hands up in a surrender position. “I’m not looking for anything, I’m just curious because I saw you disappear with Lucy.” Her eyebrows shot up to her hairline.
“How do you know Lucy?”
“Same class.” She snorted at that.
“Should’ve figured. It’s not that I wasn’t interested, I just didn’t particularly fancy sleeping with you last night.”
Ouch.
He snorted at that as she realised what she’d said her he watched in amusement as her eyes widened.
“Wait, I didn’t-fuck-that came out wrong.” Calum remained silent for a moment longer before he gave in and laughed, her wide eyes closing in embarrassment as she hid her face in her hands.
“It’s fine. It’s nice that you’re honest that you didn’t want to sleep with me. Do you know how many times I’ve had girls throw themselves at me for something? It’s why I mostly talked to girls who wore red bands last night.”
“So you weren’t out to get laid like Irwin was?”
“Oh boy, how bad was he?” This made her laugh.
“Let’s just say I wasn’t the only one who took advantage of the restrooms last night and if you didn’t know already, dude has definitely got a daddy kink.” Calum chose the wrong moment to take a sip of his coffee, the drink going down the wrong way and he ended up spluttering, spraying iced coffee over her.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” He heaved once he stopped coughing, handing her napkins as she laughed at his reaction.
“You didn’t know? Man has such a dom vibe.” She shrugged, a grin on her lips as he picked up some napkins for himself to clean the spray of coffee down his shirt.
“It’s not shit I like to ask him. I didn’t expect to find it out from someone else.” He was fighting the blush and she knew it, an evil smirk on her lips as she leaned forward.
“Oh and what tickles you pink, Mr Hood?”
“Not that.” He deadpanned, making her laugh as they chucked the ruined napkins on their empty plates.
“Damn.” She muttered before grinning at him. Calum returned the smile with a playful smirk of his own.
“Gonna have to try harder to get that information from me.” This made her laugh as they both pushed from the table and made their way out.
“I’m planning on it. I’m gonna get that information one way or another, Hood.” He laughed, throwing his arm across her shoulders.
“Good luck with that, sweetheart. For now, I’ve still got a day to kill. How do you fancy heading to the new exhibit that’s just opened on campus?”
“Man after my own heart.”
Over time, she was a frequent visitor to his dorm.
Meeting the other three seemed to open her to making new friends, Calum’s friends seemingly enjoying winding her up until Luke made a comment about her relationship status.
“Luke, I like you and all-”
“Probably the only person to like him.” Michael interrupted, earning laughter from the group, even Sierra giggling at her boyfriend’s dilemma.
“As I was saying, I like you and all but if you say something like that, I will not heistate to seduce and fuck your girlfriend.” Sierra’s cheeks burst into colour along with Luke’s and the other three weren’t too sure how to react until they saw the smirk on her lips.
“Oh you are so in for it.” Luke groaned when he realised she was teasing him.
“But seriously, I’m happy being single. I’m not good for relationships at the moment.” She explained softly and they realised that they needed to let the subject drop.
More often than not, she could be found doing her work on Calum and Luke’s table, books scattered as she studied and worked on her assignments.
“You really detest working on campus?” Sierra teased her once as she sat down next to the girl, her eyes taking in the copious amounts of notes and work that she’d done.
“Not really.” Stretching out, both girls winced at the sound of her back cracking. “I just can't be dealing with the idiots. I know Cal is still asleep and I think your man is either on his way from class or just left it.” This made Sierra laugh.
“The fact you’re around here enough to know when Lu finishes his classes.” She grinned cheekily to Sierra.
“What can I say? I’m a sucker to notice the small details.” This caused the two girls to giggle before she began to pack away her stuff, flexing her hand every so often to reduce the cramp that had built up.
“You gonna see if he’s awake?”
“Nah, gonna get a cuddle.” She waved to Sierra who disappeared into Luke’s room before gently pushing open Cal’s door after knocking gently.
His room was dark as she closed the door once more, tucking her bag next to his before crawling into the space that he’d made for her.
It was all too frequent for her to stay around at his, especially on the darker nights, he was reluctant to let her go back, so she always made sure she made it back to her place if she had classes the following day, if not, she more often than not stayed over at Luke and Calum’s.
“Get your work finished?” His voice was tired and heavy. She smiled into the darkness, curling into his back.
“No. But I’ve only got the citations to do, so I’ll worry about those tomorrow. M’tired.” A yawn escaped her lips, making him chuckle into the darkness.
“Get some sleep princess. I’ll see you in the morning.”
It was the following morning when she had woken up before their alarms, relieving her bladder and crawling back into the warm bed that she felt something in her mind shift.
She lay there, her eyes studying the way Calum slept, his lips parted as he took in slow deep breaths, his face relaxed from any of the stress of college. And she could feel her heart encompassing him into a list that barely existed. But he sat there, pretty brown eyes and plump lips with a curved smirk as he called her princess.
And that was when it hit her as she lay there, the soft rays of the sunlight breaking through the curtains and hitting his skin, the patches of light giving him an almost golden glow.
She was crushing on him and there was nothing she wanted to do to stop it.
So instead of worrying or overthinking, she snuggled herself closer to his warm body, his own seemingly adjusting for her intrusion and allowed his slow deep breaths to lull her into an easy sleep, taking advantage of the fact that neither of them had classes that day.
The semester was taking its toll on her. Anyone could see that.
But what was making it more difficult was the news articles that kept appearing, and the way that people seemed to group together in protection. When she found one of her previous flings, her heart sank as she scoffed in her face when she asked about joining the groups they had going for the LGBT students.
“What, and have you and other straights pretending to be gay, turn up and disrupt the peace of our space? No thanks.”
She’d hidden the hurt from her features at that one but she still felt the sharp stabbing sensation in her chest.
Calum could see the stress around her eyes when he invited her around for a games night with the guys and their girlfriends.
He wanted to ask her if she was okay, but she gave him a tight smile, her lips pressed together to stop anything from escaping her lips. She knew that the second he asked, she’d cry.
But it was when the games were put away and the others were relaxed, catching up when Luke had asked the innocent question.
“What about you, my not-roommate-roommate? How’ve you been doing?” Six pairs of eyes turned to her and she could feel her resolve crack as she whispered,
“Not good.” Before promptly bursting into tears and leaving the six of them shocked at her reaction. Sierra was first to react, being the closest to her, she reached out and took her hand.
“We’re all friends here. What’s going on?” And before she could stop herself, everything came spilling from her lips. From the constant fear she felt, to the disgusted looks she got from people within her own community, to the stress of not being able to complete her work. They quickly realised that she’d been holding onto this for a long time and Sierra didn’t let go of her hand whilst she got everything off her chest.
Five minutes after she’d fallen silent and her tears had stopped, she could feel her embarrassment and frustration, eyes unable to lift up to meet any of theirs.
“Sorry, you guys didn’t need to hear that.”
“Yes we did.” Ashton interrupted her. “You’re our friend, and we need to know when we need to step in and help you. How can we be supportive when you’re not even telling us the problems? Fuck those people in the community who treat you like shit.”
She gave him a watery smile in return.
Luke and Calum offered for her to stay on their couch but she declined.
“I’ve got things I need to finish up tonight so I can spend tomorrow in bed and not move.” She murmured and he didn’t push it.
The following morning she felt like she’d been hit by a bus as she dragged herself into her living room.
It took far too long for her to realise that her coffee was ready and that she needed to get up for it. She was certainly regretting the four am bedtime, but she knew that with her assignment submitted, she didn’t have to worry.
By her second cup of coffee, she was certainly more alert but let herself sink into the couch cushions as she debted switching on the TV or grabbing her laptop. That was when her phone blared, frightening her for a second before she answered it.
“You better have a good fuckin’ reason, Hood.” She grumbled when she spotted the caller ID.
“I know this is short notice, but my model ditched and I need to get these last shots done for the portfolio. I’ll buy you dinner if you can please be my model?” Her cheeks grew warm at the way Calum had presented the offer, her eyes glancing to the mirror before the clock and sighing.
“Give me thirty minutes and I’ll be at yours.” She caved easily before ending the call and throwing her phone onto the sofa, heading into the bathroom to sort her hair out and get ready for the day. She opted for minimal make-up, remembering Calum’s comment about his portfolio of natural beauty, so it was easy to pick out a warm outfit for the November weather her scarf wrapped securely and her jacket pulled tightly around her as she slid into her own car, heading onto campus to pick him up.
When she pulled up to his row, she was met with a relieved looking Calum, backpack hitched over his shoulder with a camera bag strapped across his chest.
“You know where we’re going for photos then, or is it just one of those natural ones?” She teased him playfully and he rolled his eyes.
“Head to the wooded area by the camping ground. Whilst we’ve still got sunlight, there’s a good spot which is mostly meadows and gets good sunlight filtering through the trees.” He explained and she grinned.
“I know the place. So we’re hiking a bit?” And he chuckled as he strapped himself in, jamming his kit between his legs and sitting back.
“So what happened to the other model?” She asked once they were off campus. Calum’s head moved back and hit the headrest repeatedly.
“Apparently she’s close friends with my ex, didn’t know that bit of information. But I got a text from my ex saying how do I like to feel being left hanging. I still don’t know why she sent that, unless she’s referring to deadlines which meant that yeah, I focused on those instead of her.”
“Ooo, you might have just hit the nail on the head there, buddy.”
“It’s not like I ignored her completely! Once I was done with each deadline, I took her out and apologised. I didn’t want her to think I was neglecting the relationship, but apparently five days of deadlines was enough neglect for her to cheat on me.”
“Harsh. So you reckon they cooked up some kind of plan to basically sabotage your grade?” She concluded and he nodded. “Well looks like you’re about to have the best goddamn model who can look like some sort of wood nymph.” She teased and his lips curved into a smile.
“Knew I could count on you.”
“Hey, what are friends for? And if you’re lucky and I can find the small stream that runs through the woods, I might even dip my toes in the cold water, but it means we’re bringing towels and blankets with us.” She warned him and he could feel the tension disappear from his shoulders.
He had a plan and he could work with it, especially if they found the stream.
“That’s fine if it means that I get my shots, I’ll gladly look after you if you get sick.”
“I might just take you up on that, Hood. Regardless of whether I get ill from today or just this weather in general.” She smirked at him as they rolled up to the camping grounds, her car driving across the fields before coming to a rest at the edge of the woods.
As they walked through the forest, she could hear the shutter of his camera going off and so she started to dance ahead, making him laugh. She was no natural for modelling, but being her carefree, silly self was something she could do and Calum found himself enjoying himself even more as he snapped every photo.
As they reached the stream, he instructed her on what he wanted and she followed the instructions he gave her and they kept it up as the sun began to set, bathing her in a golden glow.
She stood there for a solid five minutes, her eyes shut with a smile on her face as she basked in the last of the warmth, a soft hum escaping her lips. The shutter had gone off a few times but then it fell silent.
Finally, as the sun set, she turned to Calum who had the softest smile on his lips and she felt her heart skip a beat as they made their way back to the car.
“You’re a lifesaver, honestly.” He murmured, pulling her into his side and kissing her temple, her arms wrapped around his waist, squeezing him in return.
“Just helping out. It was nothing and I had fun.” She could feel her cheeks growing warm and he scoffed.
“Well I’ll still send you some of the shots that don’t make it onto my assignment. Sound like a good deal?” She felt her lips twist up into a wide grin.
“Only if it means that I can come around to yours and we can have a pad thai night.” She countered and he grinned.
“Wouldn’t be our night without it. Want me to see if Luke and Sierra can join?” She thought about it for a second before nodding her head.
“Yeah, it’d be nice to spend a bit of time with them too. And Luke might even let me do his nails again, since you won’t let me.” She scowled playfully as they finally reached her car and he grinned unashamedly.
“One day, princess and you might actually get me painting my nails. But for now, it’s a no.”
She groaned as they got back into her car and she dropped him off at the dorm, heading back to her place for a quiet night with a glass of wine and a new understanding that she was crushing on Calum.
Sometimes she hated boys.
She knew that Calum didn’t date. But it still drove her mad that she knew her feelings for him weren’t going away.
A few times she’d tried to go out and have quick fucks, but she couldn’t even commit to that. It felt wrong for her that it wasn’t him with her.
The first time she’d gone on a Tinder date, part of her hated that she’d done this to try and drive him from her mind. But it wasn’t working as planned.
Her current date was cute. But it wasn’t enough for the lacking personality.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to walk you back to your dorm? You could come back to mine.” She pushed his hand off her waist, shaking her head.
“Thanks, but no thanks. You’re cute and all, but honestly I don’t feel anything for you.” She admitted and he scoffed at her words.
“You’ve not even kissed me, how could you know that?” And before she could say anything else, he kissed her.
It was only brief, her hands pushing him away from her body, a scowl on her face.
“If you think that’s going to get you a girl, rethink your methods, asshole.” She snapped before walking away, hitting Calum’s name.
“Am I worthy of your time now?” Calum’s teasing voice made her let off a little laugh.
“Mind if I come to yours? Date really was not it.” Calum didn’t hesitate.
“Come on then princess.” And it was almost like coming home when she got to his, and his arms were open in comfort as she hugged him tightly.
He had a beer ready as well as an ear as she bitched about her date and what he’d done. And if she didn’t already have feelings for him before, his reaction practically secured them in place.
“Who was the fucker? I’ll teach him a lesson on how to treat a lady.” He’d launched for her phone but she’d pushed it out of the way, shifting so that she was straddling his lap.
“It doesn’t matter. I’m with my best friend and I’m safe. It was nothing but an unwanted kiss. It could’ve been so much worse but it wasn’t.” What she hadn’t expected was his arms to wrap around her body, pulling her flush against his chest.
“You’re too important and too fuckin’ precious to get hurt like that. At least let me be your standby if another date goes anything like that?” And she couldn’t argue it.
“Sure.”
When she’d finally gotten off his lap and they’d settled for movies, she was certain about her feelings towards him and she knew she needed to take a leap of faith.
Calum could see that she was tense in the Uber back to her apartment. His fingers threaded through hers and he squeezed it gently.
“This isn’t where you say you’re an axe murderer, right?” The joke was stupid and maybe a bit off key, but she laughed and her shoulders relaxed ever so slightly.
“Damn, you catch onto my plans so fast.” She teased in return and Calum smiled, leaning towards her. She understood the silent message and their lips met in the middle, a soft, single kiss before parting, his cheeks growing warm.
He could see her relax as the uber pulled up and she thanked the driver before getting out. He followed suit and her place looked nice.
“It’s nothing fancy, but I only have to worry about neighbours below me.” She explained and he smiled at that. As she guided him to the lift and kept a firm grip on his hand as it went up to the top floor. As they stepped out, to his left were stairs heading back down, and in front of them was a plain white door.
“It’s not much, but this is home for me. I-I don’t usually bring anyone back. Friends or otherwise.” Her voice was quiet. Had there been any noise, he would’ve missed her words. But he heard the and his fingers brushed over her knuckles, bringing them to his lips.
“If this is too much, we can head back to mine. I know that Luke is fine with you staying around.” As much as he wanted to see her place, to see what she lived like in her own comfort, he knew that this was an obviously big step for her.
She could see the curiosity in his eyes, but his honesty touched her heart and she knew that she could bring him into her space, to allow him to see this side of her. A side that did not see the negative judgements, no harsh words or derogatory comments.
Her fingers wrapped around the slim key and she pushed it in the lock, twisting it before pushing the door open. Immediately his eyes took in her place. It was mostly open plan, he could see that much.
They stepped into the open living room that connected to the dining room and kitchen. There was a closed wooden door at the back of the kitchen, and an open door in the dining room, his eyes turning to her curiously and she smiled.
“As you can see, living room, dining room and kitchen. Through that door is my bedroom,” she pointed to the closed door, “through that one is the bathroom. This is my home.” And he could see how she’d made it her home.
There was an L shaped couch, pushed into the corner, his eyes taking in how it was positioned to see the view of the sunset that was shining through the floor length window.
It was open and light. It was absolutely her and he could feel his heartbeat a little bit faster as he realised that she’d let him into a space that was so her, so free.
“This is also where I felt I might as well admit to you how much I actually like you.” She couldn’t meet his eyes but when his fingers tucked under her chin, coaxing her to look up, she didn’t argue it.
“Are we talking like, or like like? Because if we’re sharing those kinds of secrets, then I really like you too.” HIs voice was barely a whisper and she could feel her heartbeat stutter as his eyes held hers.
She couldn’t stop herself as she tilted her head towards his, a small smile on her lips and she leaned forward.
He got the idea and met her lips with his and she was certain that she felt her heart practically soaring.
They traded a few kisses before she pulled away and pulled him further into her place, showing him how she’d decorated it properly.
“I love it.” He whispered softly, watching as her face lit up and shoulders sagged in obvious relief. And he did. He could see the artwork that decorated her walls, the large windows giving the assumption of more space. His eyes drifted over the pieces before they came to a stop at-
“My piece. You’re the person who bought it?” His eyes trailed over the familiar photograph. It had been one of his favourites to shoot, the cold winter with a blinding sunset. She beamed at him.
“When you told me that you were selling it, I had to snap it up. So I may have been sneaky about it and gotten Luce to step in as a third party because I knew that the second you found out that it was me buying it, you’d have either given it to me for free or dropped the price.”
“Instead you picked the one person I was jealous of over that party and you knew that-”
“You’d make it a bigger price out of spite. Yeah, I figured you out pretty quick.” She teased him and he drew her closer, his arm circling around her waist as he pressed his lips to her cheek.
“I promise to do no such thing if ever you want to buy my stuff again. However, I will not be held responsible for any gifts you may receive if you like a specific photo of mine.” He teased and she giggled, pressing her hands against his chest, turning her head to meet his lips with hers.
“I might be able to forgive you if they’re presented as rightful gifts. So birthdays, anniversaries and christmas presents.” He beamed before she pulled him over to the sofa, the dying sun making for a beautiful sight, but as the sun hit her face, his eyes were captured and he couldn’t look away, not even for something as beautiful as the sun setting across the clear sky.
“Anniversaries huh?” And she found herself falling quiet before glancing at him and noting the grin on his face.
“I mean, if that isn’t too presumptuous of me?” Her voice was hesitant but he grinned at her, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips.
“Would you rather I did a song and dance to ask you out?” And he laughed at the look of horror that crossed her face.
“God no, I might like you but I think that would genuinely kill me.” They shared a look before laughing.
“Would you at least let me take you on a proper date? But also would you be my girlfriend in the meantime?” And she snorted before kissing him gently.
“I think I can do that.”
As they settled on the couch together, a sitcom playing in the background, she had her legs thrown across his lap, his fingers tracing lines against her jean clad legs.
“So, what’s off limits in the bedroom then?” His words were a tease, and she could see they were harmless by nature, making her scoff and roll her eyes, a crinkled eyed grin appearing on his lips as one hand reached over, pulling her closest hand to his lips and he kissed the back of it as a silent apology.
“Choking I’m okay with, but not to the point where there’d be visible bruises.” She finally spoke after a few minutes of silence and his hand froze on her leg.
“What?” The choked out word made her smirk.
“You heard me, Hood. I love it when my partner takes control. But not all the time. Girl needs an ego boost from time to time.” His eyes studied her face and he could feel his heart pounding in his chest as he realised that she was being serious.
She then took him by surprise again, shifting herself so that she was straddled across him, her knees resting on the couch as her hands rested on his shoulders, his hand going for her waist.
“Also, another thing you should know is the threesome myth with bisexual people is bullshit with me. I’m fucking possessive in the bedroom and I don’t want to share you with another guy or girl.” And the breath of air escaped him as she kissed his lips, her hips grinding down on his visible hard on, a whine falling from his lips.
“Good job I’ve only got eyes for you then, princess.” He breathed out and her entire body relaxed at his words, her lips curving up into a smile.
And she knew whatever the world would throw at her, she had a good man by her side.
