"I...I don't know about this Peter" your dilated eyes drift from the comfort of Peter's gentle, soothing bright irises to the tremendous, horrifying sight that clouded your frantic mind. Realizing how truly high you both were, standing upon the ledge of the tallest tower in the boisterous, blaring city.

Your arms instinctively wrapped around the juncture of his neck, strictly, steadily. A surge of imminent fear and climbing anxiety boiling through the rush of your blood.

A soften chuckle resonates from the base of his throat, his warm comforting hands holding you closely to his body. Long, slim fingers delicately fanning along your trembling limbs.

"Hey hey kiddo- you know I would never drop you, you know that right?" his voice emanated with nothing but reassurance and care, his bright, hazelnut eyes gleaming down at you with such tender and safety. You nuzzle closer into his warmth, feeling his hands gently push into the subtle, supple tender of your tensed skin. Relaxing you as the best that he could, to know that he was there for your safety and assurance.

Your mortified gaze slowly steered to meet his "Do you trust me?" he asked softly, taking notice of the obvious terror sprouted across your gorgeous face.

You glimpsed back to the terrifying sight, feeling his hands adjust you a bit, your attention immediately drawing back to him.

You slowly nodded, your fingers interlocking instantly around his neck, as you firmly bit onto your bottom lip.

"That's my girl" he lifts a genuine, kind smile- pushes his lips to your forehead and leaps off the soaring ledge of the building. Never detaches his left hand from your trembling body, holds you oh, so endearingly close and secure to him.

Okay silly ask:

Someone comes across one of the Bad Batch (not Echo) singing and records it. Posts it to their battalion's group chat saying something like "why did no one tell me the asshole could sing?" Multiple troopers are very (reluctantly) impressed, the singer is annoyed, and the rest of the Batch is demanding a copy of the video.

idk I just had the image of Crosshair getting caught singing and holding Tech's current project hostage to try and get him to delate the vod's video but unfortunately gossip moves faster than a ship at lightspeed and a solid third of the GAR has already seen it.

Oh. My gosh. yESSSS I can see this so vividly lol. Crosshair's just chilling, seemingly alone on a landing pad and BELTING some catchy song (i'm imagining ABBA lol) and doesn't even know he's been recorded until he hears his own voice coming from somewhere and Wrecker asks "Is that you?!" For the rest of that week (and probably his life, honestly), every time that song plays, the rest of the batch just relentlessly mock him lol

and she hears screams and whatnot and is like oh fuck now theyve done it, the suitors are gonna destroy the place

only to hear the screams lessen in volume and being like ? are they killing each other?

but then she hears a scream clear as day "THIS WILL BE YOUR FATE" and she's like🧍‍♀️no fuckin shot my husband is down there on a murder spree

and she immediately starts pacing back and forth like "LADIES HELP ME PREPARE I NEED TO LOOK DIVINE" and it's a full makeover sequence

and they're posing her and being like "hold on, tilt your chin up a little bit, turn to the side like 12 degrees- BOOM my lady you are serving such cunt"

and then they hear odysseus' loud ass steps going up the stairs and all the ladies scatter while penelope tries to look nonchalant like "AHEM....😳 is it you? have my prayers been answered?"
