#but I like one piece

HI, I was just wondering if the story 'But

I Like One Piece' is discontinued, or if your just going on a hiatus for that story for a bit?

“Be that as it may,” Grumbles the old lady. “I hope you didn’t call us out here over a children’s craft project and overactive imagination, Nara-san.”

Shikamaru’s dad narrows his eyes at her. “Hardly, venerable Councilwoman. Inoichi, Chouza and I, in addition to seventeen eyewitnesses, all saw the same thing. Unless you believe a ten year old still in the Academy can cast a genjutsu sophisticated enough to ensnare us?”

The old woman eyes her suspiciously.

She tries her hardest not to look guilty of…whatever it is they’re accusing her of.

She has a sinking suspicion that they may have covered it in class once.

“If it helps, honored Councilwoman,” Iruka-sensei pipes up. “Ketsugi-chan…needs improvement when it comes to controlling chakra. Or sensing chakra. Or…to her credit, she is highly capable in taijutsu and a pleasure to have in class! But—”

“How much improvement is ‘needs improvement’ Umino?” The old man in the glasses snaps.

Iruka-sensei glances at her hesitantly.

At the old man’s glare, he says. “…Ketsugi-chan is currently ranked lowest in her year in this particular subject, honored Councilman.”

Lowest in her year?!

Mayu gapes at him.

She feels the part of her past life that worked tirelessly to get into Exeter and come away with a double first collapse into a heap in a corner of her soul and start wailing.

“Mayu.” It’s never good when Otou-san and Okaa-san say her name in unison like that.

“I’m good at everything else!” She protests. “Iruka-sensei said so! It’s just—chakra’s not right! It’s evil!”

Shikamaru’s dad makes a small gesture towards her with one eyebrow raised, like she’s somehow proven a point he’s made.

The old man with glasses and the old woman nod grudgingly, like they’re in agreement with this.

She has never wanted to kick anybody in the shins quite so badly.

Crocodile finds a strange stray cat an 11-year old Nico Robin (AU where they met 13 years earlier. Robin's been on the run from the World Government for 3 years. Crocodile's 27 and has not set up base in Alabasta yet)
