It only stops when one night in the middle of patrol. Batman is in full Dark Knight mode (possibly in the middle of threatening someone) and descends from the ceiling into the middle of a warehouse drug deal, dark cape billowing out behind him-

She immediately realizes what she said and frantically apologizes but it’s too late.

Bruce just- Blue Screens. Completely stunned into silence

Dick -who was unfortunate enough to be the one teamed up with Batman tonight- is fighting for his life to choke back his laughter

Jason doesn’t even try to stop his and has collapsed to his knees from lack of air from how hard he’s laughing. Cass try’s half heartedly patting his back to help to no avail

The criminals are terrified into surrender from The Red Hood just laughing hysterically at seemingly nothing while Batman just Stands There

Damian ends up being the only one still functioning enough to continue arresting everyone, though he is privately amused and strangely proud

Tim and Barbara have saved both the com recordings and cowl footage to at least three different servers and sent it to absolutely everyone before Batman even recovers

Duke finds out second hand the next morning and is furious he missed the chance to see it in person. He declares he is moving to the nightshift so it doesn’t happen again. (He is all talk and goes to bed by 9 pm)

Bruce bans the phrase for life and promises swift and server punishment to anyone who dares to use it again

Civilian Gothamites realizing they can get vengeance through Sword!Robin

Gothamites figuring out if they happen to mention a rogue treating animals poorly within hearing range of sword!Robin that rogue will be in custody with at least four fractures and a concussion and Damian being completely aware that like 63% of these people are lying but it’s the only way he can get experience with the nonlethal takedowns he’s experimenting with bc everyone keeps complaining about how he treats his opponents and allies 

Like he’s guiding a civilian to safety and they mention that “this would be the worst thing to happen to me today if riddler didn’t stab my fucking cat” and this civilian does not own a cat but they did own a car that was just paid off but riddler fucking crushed it with a stupid ass hot air balloon that’s shaped like a fucking question mark and Damian is aware of this bc he was the one that verified the insurance claim (but he’s been looking for a reason to punch Nygma in the throat since his last Arkham escape when he called Damian a moron)

And he also knows that if he plays along with it and says ‘as if I’d let that gaudy and tactless imbecile get away with committing such atrocities’ when prompted that he’ll get away with barely a slap on the wrist like he gets three half hearted but long lectures he’s not going to listen to and an online sensitivity training seminar he goads Tim into completing (Damian and Tim 100% try to trick each other into doing work they don’t want to do and full heartedly believe the other has no idea what they’re doing)

Bruce’s tendency for finding small crashouts at risk of becoming future rogues in Gotham and deciding they need love & supervision but what actually happens bc he’s so fucking awkward is they get almost the same amount of supervision just with like an hour of intense helicopter parenting a week but honestly besides that they just have more money and resources to do fuck shit

Tim 🤝🏾 Damian: using the manipulation tactics they learned from their mothers then later improved on with help from an assassin cult and bat/cape interrogation questioning techniques on the homies

i like to think that Rex was named after Verdi, but it’s because Juline went over to visit Edaline while she was pregnant with the triplets and they where talking about about baby names it was kinda awkward because Edaline wasn’t talking much.

that was until Juline mentioned the fact that Kesler wanted all the kids to have rhyming names and she wasn’t sure what to think about it. Edaline laughed a little then said

“we’ll you could name one of the boys Rex” gesturing to Verdi in her enclosure, “i don’t know what little boy wouldn’t be happy about being named after a dinosaur”

it was the first joke Juline had heard Edaline make since Jolie died, and that night she went home and told Kesler that they were definitely rhyming the kids names because of what Edaline had said, and it made her hope that Edaline was healing just a little bit

Toby and Josh have once again made me INCREDIBLY emotional, so remember when Josh is shot and Toby is the one to find him? I don’t think there is enough emphasis on the fact that Toby gets the news that his brother is safely landed from the Columbia space shuttle mere MINUTES before Josh is shot. Toby has a few minutes to feel complete and utter relief that he didn’t lose his brother and joke with the President about it before he’s hit with the terror that is finding his other brother, not blood, but no less his family, bleeding on the ground, dying. Toby gets one brother back, and it’s framed as being at the expense of his other brother.

Aaaaaa turned in my final proj proposal for the last class in my cert and I’m so happy it’s gonna all be over soon. It has been a really great experience but I’m so ready to like move on and actually put it to use. Forgive me for being a little boastful rn or whatever but I’m honestly really proud of myself for finally doing this, I’m really happy my mentor still encouraged me with it, I’m so thankful for her and everything she’s done for me over the years. Maybe I’ll send her a letter thanking her for all of it ;w;
