Life is weird, I was invited into a family’s home to share a (delicious!!!) meal with them at the Kewa Pueblo feast day today… and this event is a direct result of my mom recently starting to obsessively play Pokémon Go with me

#it was a billion degrees and I think I got significantly dehydrated for the second time this weekend #(the first time was yesterday. playing… pokemon go)#basically how this worked is we play often in an area of town we otherwise don’t visit often #we found a jewelry vendor there one day while playing and bought some of her pieces #and we see her there almost every time we play now #she invited us to eat with her family today and to enjoy her air conditioner #it was *amazing* and they sent us home with a loaf of homemade bread 😭#so uhhhhh thank you pokemon???
