im an ambulatory wheelchair user, at the bus stop, another chair user wheeled up. we're getting the same bus, only one wheelchair user can be sitting in their chair on the bus at a time (which frankly is fucked up in its own right lol)

so i pre squish my chair so we can both get on (ive talked to the bus people and that is both perfectly legal and the recommended thing to do). and hes complaining about only one wheelchair being allowed. fairly standard. he only concedes After i tell him ibe literally talked to b&h buses XD

so we both get on the bus, everything is fine. except he then says, so nonchalantly, oh yeah can you lift it onto the luggage rack

?!?!?!?!?!?!

me, a 5ft scrawny looking emo kid, no visable disabilities, am being asked to lift my wheelchair, yknow, the thing that allows me to leave the house safely, onto the Luggage Rack?? that thing thats like half my height up, away from the seats, so i cant keep a good eye on it????

i fully just ignored him and carried on as usual. not a fucking chance

and to top it off, he fully refused to give me his name so i could tell the bus company about this (apparently they're NoT aLlOwEd To. suuuuure mate)

trying to suggest the irrelevance of the majority of inquisitions main quest and companion decisions is due to the games focus on specific characters in a new part of the world also doesn’t make sense when the most predominant, once-titular character is solas, who cares deeply about several of those past decisions and whose reaction to those decisions served as important insight into who he is as a character, as well as set the foundation for who he is going to be as a character in veilguard.

solas’s his relationship to cole gave the player unique insight into the reality of spirits as beings with personhood, and gave nuance to the spirit/demon dichotomy presented by the chantry. solas’s derision of the grey wardens was the first suggestion that the blight was more complex than it appeared, his criticism of the grey wardens corruption informs his larger beliefs about groups being vulnerable and further establishes his identity as a lone wolf who cannot trust the people around him. solas’s personal quest gives us rare insight into his past, his relationships to others, how he processes emotions like rage and grief, and his ruthlessness if pushed. solas’s fury at an inquisitor who drinks from the well and refusal to do so himself is some of the only insight into the complex nature of his and mythal’s relationship that we get, and shows us how he both reveres and distrusts her. the entire point of Solas’s character, as a “mirror” as the lead writer of the game puts it, is that his time in the inquisition quite literally creates who he is. he is literally morally, and behaviorally shaped by the inquisition. he tells blackwall that he will remember how bravely people fought. he tells us how the inquisitor proved him wrong about the world he is intent on destroying.

and none of it matters? past “did you romance him” and “did you vow to stop him”? lol ok

and why do they take priority in the only wheelchair space

when there is Plenty of space on the bus for this person to sit (/stand as they currently are) with their walker next to them

without being in the damn Wheelchair Space

yknow, the space theres only one of, and this meaning i have to get out, squish my chair, wheel it on and hope it doesn't get entirely bashed around

instead of. maybe. asking the person to move to another space. instead of telling me its already occupied. and failing a very basic priority

but that's likely asking too much, for basic access to a necessary service

You know what? I'm tired of pretending so I'm just going to admit it:

I think romantic Tayden is fucking adorable, especially with a dash of queerplatonic Aidlyn on the side. They have some of the same interests like skateboarding and rock climbing and Ashlyn taught them both how to dance according to Red's insta so they could be a cute best friends to lovers type of thing.

I feel like they would be a very fluffy, feel-good type of romance and they complement each other really well in my opinion. I don't know why I just love them so much.
