emotionally unavailable and unsupportive parents leave you with severe attachment issues and trauma and you're out there wondering why you can't be like the rest of this generation; casual flirting and hookup culture is apparently the new normal, but you cannot let go of a single thing that had ever happened to you and cannot survive without letting every good interaction you've had with anyone consume you and eat your entire brain so completely that then you have ADHD and then you blame your parents for such upbringing that you have to beg for love like that but then you realise it's only really your fucking fault because there's a flaw in your system and you can't fit in or discipline yourself and stay lazy and unmotivated all the time and procrastinate because your deteriorating mental health physically affects you somehow and you keep relapsing but is it really your fault?

Azula woke with a gasp.

Her body was THROBBING, as she slowly began to regain her breath, she became aware she was on a ship.

"How did I get here"? She muttered to herself.

"Our fire lord has commanded you to capture the Avatar" Lo and Li said together in that annoying way they do.

"Zuko was given this wild goosehog chase" she told them.

She started to sit up, but soon screamed out in pain.

"You shouldn't aggravate your burn Princess" the elderly twins told her unsympatheticly.

"Burn" ?!?! She squeaked.

Then it all came back to her.

The false letter to Zuzu about Ozai's 'overthrowing' plan.

Begging him to 'take his rightful place' on the fire throne.

She never expected for someone (she suspected one of her ladies maids) to intersept her messenger hawk and report it's contents to daddy dearest.

Ozai had requested her presence in the training grounds the next day.

The agni kai lasted for hours.

Ultimately Azula's young age and inexperience had gotten the best of her, and Ozai had hit her a damaging blow.

Most of Azula's midsection was now heavily burnt.

She hated herself for doing it. But she openly cried like a child

Weeks later and Azula had transitioned from ugly crying to intence rage.

She will turn this anger to her advantage, but first ? She needed some allies.

"Captain" ! She called to him as she gingerly sat on her throne, "change course to the fire colonies. I'm going to the circus".

listen. hear me out. shadow not being able to talk properly and just mispronouncing/mumbling EVERYTHING when gerald first created them. i'm talking toddler/infant speaking level despite being like. above six years old when they first came out of that tube.

the adults who didn't like shadow using this as an excuse to ignore whatever the hedgehog has to say under the pretense of 'not being able to understand them', and not listening when shadow says they're hungry or that an experiment hurts.

maria teaching shadow how to speak and pronounce things right - it takes them a while, but eventually, shadow is the most well-spoken being on that ARK.

the adults hating maria for this because now they actually have to listen to what shadow has to say now because they can longer dismiss them due to them being unintelligible. they actually have to listen when shadow says 'that hurts!' or 'i want professor robotnik.' or 'i need water.'

and if they don't - well, shadow tells everything to maria, and maria brings up every little issue regarding shadow up to gerald, the lead scientist, who does everything to make sure maria is happy - which means making sure shadow is happy.

FOREVER STUCK BETWEEN downplaying my traumatic experience, not wanting to look like I'm seeking attention, saying "Well, it could've been worse", pretending that it doesn't bother me, until I actually get over it without letting anyone know AND acknowledging my trauma, that it was bad, that it hurt me, broke me, that it should've been better and I didn't deserve it

i'm gonna log off for a while because i'm really mentally drained from constantly hearing how unhappy and disappointed some of you guys were with both SB and CH'snendings and developments.

i know some of you guys come from a good place and mean no harm but imagine working on something for so long and then you yourself are already sad about how things ended but you wanna use it as a way to do better next time but people constantly tell you how you should do better next time and its always "i was so excited but it never came" and "i wished things would have gone this way" after you spent days crying out of frustration because your brain didn't corporate.

people who have never written (one shots or series doesnt matter) don't know the burden of leaving unfinished works up there. i keep telling you guys that i tried so hard to somehow give you guys an ending because if i hadn't you guys would have never received ANY ending so i tried to make the best of it.

i dont take the hate to heart anymore bc i couldnt care less and i know as a writer i should be open to criticism but i'm a little tired of my work being constantly nitpicked when i do this for fun.

i know updating daily was what burnt me out pls stop telling me that i obviously overestimated myself i fucking know.

whatever, it actually doesn't matter anymore because CH is over and i dont think i'll ever write smaus that long ever again bc the criticism is so not worth the mental effort and stress.

i do this for FUN. you know how artists doodle in their notebooks, this is what this blog is to me. i make mistakes, i over/underestimate things and myself bc this is life. it's just..not that deep for y'all to constantly camp in my inbox and make me feel bad about it when i already accepted it.

i'm gonna do some self reflection and think about it all so take care babies 🤍
