Since people enjoyed my Malevolent cosplay so much, I figured maybe I’d share some of my Magnus Archives cosplays from the last few years, starting with my favorite- Hezekiah Wakely from A Gravedigger’s Envy! Best guy. All he wanted was a nap.

All clothing pieces were thrifted and altered by me! The coffin backpack (I’ll share more photos of that in the original cosplay I made it for) has a real chain and lock and really opens, and was a great way to carry my stuff around the convention. I wore this for ECCC 2023 and then my car broke down in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night on the way home and I had to get a tow while wearing this. I also had bronchitis at the time and didn’t know it. Still one of my favorite costumes ever, and I love how the mud effects turned out!

Woe, the sillies be upon ye. @rowanraven08 @just-prime sorry it's another dante centred one, I haven't had ideas for anything else yet. might do a birthday one soon but idk. tried out writing Silas' POV, hope I didn't mess it up too badly? i tried :_)

Oh boy strap in I’m about to give you the Connor/ buried lore

I would personally consider myself an avatar of the buried. For these reasons:

1. My first memory I can recall is of me drowning.

I was around 4 I think and I was on a canoe with family when it capsized. Despite my young age and horrible memory I DISTINCTLY remember being under the water, not knowing which way was up and being unable to breathe. Time seemed to slow as well. Anyway I was dragged up and spoiler alert I’m still alive I didn’t drown.

2. I almost drowned my brother.

I was 7 I think for this?? We were in a pool and I convinced him to go off with me without our parents into the lazy river. When we went in bc he’s 2 yrs younger and not as confident swimmer, he started drowning and had to be saved by the lifeguard. He’s fine now ofc, so is the other one I wouldn’t share these if they weren’t. This leads me on to;

3. I suffocated by brother.

This one I was 15ish. My youngest brother had just made a cave- alcove- tunnel thing in the sand by digging down and was showing it off to us. To show how big and deep it was he stuck his head in which was when I came up with the incredibly smart idea to stand near the top of the sand cave thing causing it to collapse on his head. It took us a solid 5 seconds to realise oh shit yeah hes suffocating before pulling him out of the sand.

Again hes fine

Both these weren’t intentional I promise

Finally I have a weird love/ hate relationship with small spaces. I get really panicked if I can’t extend my limbs meaning I have to sit on aisle seats but I love the feeling of tight spaces/ find it soothing. I also love caving and was brought up near caves, have a fascination for caves and my dad is a geologist so I have plenty of childhood memories of visiting old mines etc too!!!

Had a dream where I was an avatar of the buried and my thing was laying flat at the bottom of a public pool. Others would become conviced they had to pull me out and would dive in only to then get stuck at the bottom as well. Then the bodies would start to pile up! After seemingly everyone near by has gotten stuck I would release some of them alive, others that had given up on getting out ended up drowning fully. The people couldnt breathe down at the bottom but they didn't die, just were left choking on pool water and the oppressing weight of the depth of the deep end

Introductory post, I guess.

My name is Samson Woods, and I serve Choke, The Buried, Too-Close-I-Cannot-Breathe, whatever you want to call it. I use he/him pronouns, and I honestly cannot remember why I even made this.

I have a sibling whom I believe to be of Forsaken, but as with most of its ilk, I have not seen them for very long.

I suppose that's all. I hope to see you when the world is swallowed by that from where we all came. :)

I swear I met a buried avatar once

This kid told me I had to eat dirt to get into his little tree cubby in like 2017 and I was like “haha ew no wtf” thinking it was a joke but then he proceeded to pull out a massive plastic cup from god knows where, filled it with dirt, looked me dead in the eyes and chugged the entire fucking thing
