Ultimately, the dinner was a success and Burb children were accepted into the private school. John felt like he was sweating buckets by the end of the visit, but he couldn't also help feeling somewhat proud about this accomplishment for the kids.

Still feeling a little lightheaded from all the talking, he agreed when Holly asked for a permission to go out late with her friend. She wanted to celebrate and share the news of her success.

She probably wasn't aware how rich the Capps are, cause Lysander arriving in a limo wasn't on her bucket list.

Jennifer: "If I stayed, and we continued to fight, and we grew bitter towards one another... We'd have wasted years unhappy. I can't do that, John. Not to you, not to Lucy, and not to myself. This way, maybe you can have more children, like you always wanted. You're a wonderful sim. You just need a partner that wants the same things you do. That's not me."

Lucy's official glow up after living downtown for a couple years. She's been enjoying the art district.

John has joined the intelligence career It's no longer up to Jennifer to advance so they have money John has taken the responsibility on himself as well. The hours are good and he can still be around the kids during the daytime as well as some nights. He has been promoted twice and, unfortunately, demoted once. He is back to level 3 as a Crime Scene Investigator making 325 a day.

My fondest memory of Steven Universe was the Pearl's Secret Rap Career bit. And that's not even from the show. That shit used to make me exhale water back in the day. It's not even funny but the exaggerated swagger of "Round and round let the city turn" cannot be underestimated

After a long flight, the Burbs settle into their new home. They're welcomed by Darren Dreamer and Jennifer's brother's in-laws, Herb and Coral Oldie.

desdemona woke up and wanted to talk about science with her roommate, but he was busy.

She did a little gaming instead.

She was also sent out to buy a halloween costume, where she ran into Lucy. She even was kind enough to pick up a costume for her roommate :)

Then she decided to actually do her term paper at the library, giving her another A+ for the semester. This dormie really wanted to bother her but she has patience.

After the library she invited Lucy over to hang out and such things. Her roommate has no clue what personal space is and decided to start critiquing her lights while they were trying to have some fucking privacy. dude please go do something else.

And she passes! Her aspiration has also changed. She's a knowledge sim now since all she does is think about science. will that impact her relationship(s) at all? who knows. Lucy's moving in with her for next semester, too. So we'll see.

Two pregnancies, two birthdays and a promotion. It's been an eventful round. Say hello to George Burb.

The kids had to rush and do some last-minute cleaning in their rooms. Since the Headmaster was making a tour around the house and Kaylynn didn't have time to do it for them, they needed to give their best impression.

The Burbs felt somewhat out of place in the conversation with the Headmaster. He was all official, talking about how well-funded and prestigious his school is. They mostly smiled and nodded in return, but knowing this will leave a lasting impression on him and possibly sabotage the kids' chances at being accepted, John tried to pepper in some of his work talk to make the Headmaster swoon.

Archie was a little too shy to join the dinner. Holly, sacrificing leaving her best impression on the guest, decided to stay in the living room with her brother and keep him company. She couldn't believe how much she grew to care about those little gremlins.

John puts in the hard work to make his family's dreams come true. He's the proud owner (Jennifer being his silent partner and bankroll) and operator of "Lucy's Lemonade" and he played an integral role in Samuel's acceptance to Private School. Way to go, John!

Chris passed away right as she came home from work. Melissa just doing Melissa things... she was unbothered, unaware.

Elden aged into elder! I think he's the first one in the hood to age up to elder, too. Greg Pai helps with the impending hearing loss lol.
