17 November 2289 / Nordhagen Beach

A militiaman killed in action near the perimeter. This is the first Militia casualty since the Halloween attack.

This rifleman, Peyton, joined up with us outside the robotics disposal ground by USAF Olivia. We found him and his partner Kelly scavenging for robot parts there and following a brief standoff we were able to offer them a better life than mucking in the mud looking for circuitboards.

Kelly and Peyton accompanied us for a fire mission at the air force base so I could test their mettle. After proving themselves against the raiders I brought them back to Nordhagen for processing and they both joined the Militia as riflemen, blending in with the regulars there.

In planning for Operation TI:BUMRUSH, it was determined a larger force than just Rat Patrol would be needed for operational success. With our numbers low and options limited, we poached some of the security staff from Nordhagen to take with us on the assault, taking Kelly, Watson and Caden with us and leaving Peyton and Hardi in charge.

During the operation, a small band of raiders took advantage of the reduced patrols at home and launched a surprise attack. Peyton coordinated the defense but was killed when he tried to lead a counterattack out beyond the wire. Kelly has since been honorably relieved from mission duty in perpetuity.

Like who was out of their gourd on Bioware to think that gaudy yellow plaid was the dye option that everyone was clamoring for. It's time to take on the enemy, you know what this calls for? An ill fitting leather jacket on top of my matching pajamas. Yeah make sure it's orange too. Can't forget my templar helmet that's 3 sizes too big.
