who the fuck is this guy?? (daima speculation post)

Because I am desperately clawing at information and checking the news every 10 seconds compulsively, I thought I'd put my energy into speculating what Dragon Ball Daima is going to bring us because oh my god i'm so excited So my object of my interest is this person, who is very clearly the same species as the Supreme Kais. Here are my very cool, totally high quality screenshots (they are not)

The safe assumption is that this is a Makaioshin, a Demon Supreme Kai, which I think is likely true and likely the route they're gonna go. All fingers point to Goku and Shin's adventure taking them to the demon realm, and the demon realm is also a topic we've seen Shin have a ton of knowledge in (some reasons unfortunate)

BUT WHO IS THIS??????

So okay I have 4 theories, some I believe a bit more than others. insert my very cool art that I spent several hours on (i did not) ---

1.) The person in the trailer is Shin's twin or sibling and poses as his natural opposite. This is one of the simpler theories and also my favorite. It would be a lot of fun for the narrative, because it brings a lot of personal weight as to why Shin would want to be a part of this journey and also possibly give some insight as to why the majin/folks from the demon realm seem to have it out for the Supreme Kais so badly anyway. We know that this person likely holds a grudge from the Buu Saga ordeal, but the contempt for the Supreme Kais seemed to predate Bibidi and Buu invading the Sacred Land of the Kais. It would be interesting if there is family drama and jealousy is a factor, maybe this person was meant to be a Supreme Kai's apprentice anyway but Shin got it instead. It could be Shin's fault that they're in the demon realm at all. The possibilities are endless! (Also I would really love on-screen lore about their species)

I also really like this theory because Beerus also has a twin brother and the design differences I find very amusing. Also it would track that Beerus's twin hates Beerus because one time he ate a cake or whatever, but Shin's twin wants to eradicate everything Shin knows and loves because he looked at him wrong or something ---

2.) There's some interdimensional timeline bullshit happening and the person on the screen is actually a Shin fusion. I feel like there'd have to be a lot of plot shenanigans for this to work, but the idea that this person is actually a fusion has been thrown around some and I think it's neat. Most notable to me is that they look VERY SIMILAR to Shin but with some key differences, mostly that he's tall and has a different nose. Eye shape and hair are pretty similar and I also found it interesting that the coat is very similar to Shin's palette in Super, though with sleeves/pants/boots matching Shin's Daima palette. It is totally possible this is just a coincidence, especially since Kibito has pretty much the same palette as Shin in Daima but they're not connected at all

So, narratively, what would this do? The timeline placement for Daima is a big point of debate because we're given conflicting information: the two biggest points people point to is Shin and Kibito being defused which only happens around Battle of Gods, and Chi-Chi and Bulma's hairstyles which we only see after Buu Saga in DBZ. It is extremely likely that Daima is canon especially because Akira Toriyama was heavily involved in the story and characters, but how it ties in to the canon right now is a big question mark. It's totally possible that a very huge fuckup happened to cause a "fall from grace" that couldn't be fixed with dragon balls, maybe even the very same adventure that Goku and Shin are on at that point in the anime, and the character we see here is trying to prevent it while working in the demon realm. It's possible he's not actually a villain either and has multiple motives. He shows contempt after seeing Shin on screen, possibly lamenting past actions. I don't really think this theory is that likely (I think a lot of the similarities can just be explained with someone who knows Shin), but it goes down a thread that I think is pretty cool. ---

3.) Entirely new character with no connection to Shin other than mirrored occupations. I think this is the most boring option and probably also the most likely one. I'm down for new characters but I just find them having a more personal connection would be way more fun. Still, he seems to hate Shin (and it's likely that Shin knows him) so it'll be interesting to see what's going on there!

Even if this theory is the one that's the most likely, I still think it'll be a great time and I think would still open an avenue for us to learn a lot more about the Supreme Kais, the canon Demon Supreme Kais, and the demon realm as a whole. I really hope they can deal with this in a great way that doesn't cause any imbalance with the God of Creation/God of Destruction stuff ---

4.) Shin and this character are LITERALLY two halves of the same person who changed in their environments, kind of like Kami and Demon King Piccolo. I feel like this isn't the most likely route either because it would kind of dampen Kami and Piccolo's whole thing AND it would make no sense because Zamasu is an evil little bastard and their species is shown to have their own morals/values on a spectrum of good/evil, but I think this opens up an interesting can of worms that maybe the Supreme Kai's species can split themselves in order to fulfill certain roles for the universe (considering they can also split entire planets/duplicate life)

No one I know of has talked about this and it's driving me crazy but I think there's going to be a subplot about Demon King Piccolo for specifically for two reasons: 1.) BLUE DRAGON BALLS 2.) This screenshot

WHO THE FUCK IS THIS DUDE????? THAT LOOKS LIKE A NAMEKIAN TO ME Also he's DEMON KING Piccolo, he was the demon king (I assume) before Dabura, who our mystery character likely served as well. However, it's also totally possible I'm speaking out of my ass and Demon King(tm) is just a nickname for Kami's other half pre-our Piccolo, but I think that would be kind of lame so I like to think he was an actual demon king.

This is to say, maybe Kami learned how to expel all the evil from himself by seeking guidance of the other gods, and it's something that the Supreme Kais have done before and kind of need to do to keep tabs on the demon realm. OR this is just Namekian stuff and I desperately want to combine lore. You decide!

It is certainly fun to think about though! I think even if this route is possible, it doesn't mean that Supreme Kais are always going to be inherently good; their experiences shape them, and we also see this happen with Kami's evil half in the newly reborn Piccolo. Characters born to be evil do not necessarily stay evil, and characters born to be good do not necessarily stay good. Even so, I think this route would kind of fuck a lot of balance that the story tries to establish already so I think the Namekian stuff will probably be separate from who this character is. Still, I wanted to throw this out there

IN CONCLUSION... I dunno I still think the twin route is the most fun but I think there are really interesting plot threads that could happen. I feel like Daima will be lore heavy even though it's framed as a lighthearted adventure, so I hope to learn a lot. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check, but when news is scarce I can't help but speculate the shit out of what we have. Feel free to let me know what y'all think!

DAIMA EP.20 (Spoiler)Review/theories(yes, still)

• So, I've been watching every episode 3 times each since this show started streaming, & I gotta say, aside from the fact I'll definitely be rewatching the whole show from time to time, I can't help but think about how this is probably the last dragon ball related project Akira Toriyama was in any way involved in. That unmistakable charm has clearly been very hard to replicate for Toei post Z. Plus, there's the odd coincidence of Daima ending a day before the anniversary of his passing. I think I'll cherish this show deeply.

• Good golly, there's so much to talk about! Man, the animators were going all out to top what we got in the Super Broly movie! (There was surprisingly less Naotoshi Shida than I expected)

• Goku was pulling out every combo he could think of. & flexing his booba. AND BLOWING A HOLE THROUGH A MAIN VILLAIN! This Super Saiyan 4 form was on that early Z movie Goku time. Ruthless. Also, no opening this time. But the song did play for the ED.

• I was wondering where King Gohma's scepter went...

• That brief underground fight between Goku & King Gohma looked like an even more colorful version of that trippy in-between dimensions place Gogeta & Broly fought in for a bit. Hope the put it in a game.

• Give it up to Masako Nozawa, she was probably either 86 or 87 while recording these episodes & still screaming like a BEAST.

• Cool that we saw a 2D version of the ring everyone was fighting in as Goku powered up before winding up his Kamehameha. So cool that it shot straight through the Demon Realm layers. The water pouring in was a nice touch. The afterglow on Goku's fingers was sick.

• While it's kind of a shame Piccolo did less than Glorio in this show, CLUTCH KING KUU, BABY!!! I was accidentally right to call him that before. Yay me.

• The way the Third Eye was destroyed was so ridiculous. (Affectionate) Classic Toriyama.

• Kitty mouth Piccolo!?

• I somehow feel worse for Degesu, if only for the fact that he has to live with a lout like Gohma. Being non-infanticidal & easy to laugh at aside, Gohma's scummy, petty & bratty.

• Almost had me with that Goku raising his hand bit. Hail King Kuu!! Wise beyond his years. (Bro's like, 2 days old)

• The return of the "Super Saiyan bargain sale" joke! Aaaand, no explanation as to why Goku doesn't use SSJ4 post Daima. Plus no name-drops for currently unnamed characters, but I'm sure the Kakarot dlc will fill in plenty of gaps. (That game loves it's flavor text & whatnot)

• Ultra Vegeta?! (Do they know...?)

• I loved the moment between Neva, Dende & Piccolo. Sounds like Neva won't be lonely anymore.

• Lmao, Panzy making Vegeta wave.

• I knew they were gonna do that "checking in on characters via special illustrations in the credits" thing. Chi-Chi's outfit is so cute! +How'd I not notice that before?) Plus Trunks & Goten got new rad outfits I'd love to see on their adult forms. Also, I guess the Tamagamis gotta go find their D balls themselves.

• Well, we never got to see the bug-fusion, but we got to see that pleasant medi-bug shopkeeper lady again. That Bulma but clashes with the bits from the Super Hero & Super Broly movies, but whatever. Also, holy extra frames, Batman! So smooth.

• Classic Toriyama joke. An all powerful, legendary item that had a massive impact on the very history of an entire realm, can be bought in a shop in the middle of NOWHERE. I love it.

• In conclusion, I love Daima with all my heart. I might delete these reviews a few months from now. No point in them taking up space on this blog, dead in the water.

• Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to reading the OG Dragon ball manga.

3, 5, 13, 14, 15, 20, 24 for the Dragon Ball ask game! ^^

3: List your top 5 favorite characters in order of how much you like them. - #1: Zamasu. Every form of him. That man has completely taken over my brain with his perfect divinity. I also relate to him on a personal level. I know what it's like to have terrible teachers, so seeing how he reacted to being in a similar situation... It felt like I finally met someone who Understands™ that kind of pain and how frustrating it can be. ...Even if it's a fictional god who would canonically murder me on sight 💛 He comforts me in a way that nobody else has been able to.

- #2: Vegito. Easily my favorite out of the fusions (not including Merged Zamasu cuz he's technically already on the list). He's confident, sassy, and kicks ass across the galaxy and back. He can beat whoever he encounters and he knows it.

- #3: Shin/Nahare. He's always been very likeable to me. I enjoy every moment he's on-screen. I want to hug him. If Zamasu didn't exist, he'd be my favorite kai/glind.

- #4: Goku, Vegeta, Raditz, and Turles. These four idiots share a spot because they're the main four saiyans I think about when I'm not thinking about the above. ...Raditz deserved a second chance, man.

- #5: Android 17. He's a mix of a lot of fun personality traits and I think we'd be good friends if I met him. His Android/Cell Saga outfit is my fave outfit for him (largely because of his orange bandanna, I'm a sucker for that accessory), but I understand if he doesn't want to wear it anymore. His actions against Dr. Gero were completely justified and he would absolutely do it again.

5: Who is your favorite villain? - I think we all know who my favorite villain is.

13: Have you played any of the games? - *looks at my pile of Xenoverse OCs* Have I??? /silly - I've played Xenoverse, Xenoverse 2, FighterZ, DBZ Kakarot, SDBH World Mission, DB Fusions for the 3DS, Project: Multi, DBSCG Fusion World (and the betas for it), Dragon Ball Legends, Dokkan Battle, and.... Breakers.... All on PC except for Fusions, obviously. I eventually want to get my hands on Sparking Zero too. - Out of the games that actively update, I mainly play DBL and Fusion World. I plan on adding Project: Multi to that list when it's finally complete and playable again. - I miss my smug immortal husband, Tails. I miss him a lot. He'll be back. ...Eventually.

14: Do you own any merch? - ...Do the cards count? /silly - Technically yes with some DBSCG Masters cards and sleeves for them, but not much outside of that. I do want to start a figure collection, though. From what I've seen so far, DB has some of the best figures I've seen from any anime. I need Zamasu on my desk immediately. Also, look at these card sleeves, they're fucking amazing~

- The color is so vibrant that photos don't do them justice. I'm waiting until I have an actual Future Saga deck to use them. My holy kings 💚🖤💗

15: Do you have any favorite ships (canon, fanon, ect)? - Fave canon ships: Bardock/Gine, Goku/Chi-Chi, Vegeta/Bulma, Gohan/Videl, and Krillin/Android 18. - Fave fanon ships: Goku/Vegeta, Bulma/Chi-Chi, Raditz/Turles, Bardock/Tora/Gine, and most things involving Zamasu. My own silly Goku/Zamasu shenanigans have slowly become their own little fixation in my brain lately. Been starving on all the Barely Anything they have for content. Don't be surprised if I end up conceiving a fan kid for them. Which... technically already happened in my fic drafts, LMAO- - On a semi-related note, I think Raditz and 17 would be friends if they had the opportunity to meet. They're roommates in the GSU.

20: If you could hang out with one character, who would it be? - Assuming he doesn't immediately murder me, Zamasu. - Assuming Zamasu does want to murder me, Goku.

24: If you could write your own episode, what would it be about? - What Raditz has been up to after he was sent to Hell. We literally never see or hear of him again (outside the occasional reference, fan content, and what-if, of course) after King Yemma was like "Oh yeah, I sent him straight to Hell. He put up one hell of a fight, lmao." What is Raditz doing? What's he thinking about? I know he got turned into one of those little spirit blobs, what's that like? How does it feel? Does he want revenge on Kakarot and Piccolo for killing him or did he accept that he's just inferior to his little brother? Is he sad or frustrated that he was never revived? I wanna know, damn it!

Fusion Revived - CH 7 (Reunited)

➤ This story is actually complete (finished Sep 2021) over on my Ao3 already; I'm just publishing it here on tumblr too for archival purposes. I hope any and all curious readers enjoy if they haven't checked it out yet!

SUMMARY: Majin Buu has been destroyed, and the Earth has known peace for close to a year now. Life hasn't been too peaceful for the person responsible for saving the world and the entire universe however, but when an ordinary woman meets him one day, things start to change.

RATING: Teen and Up. PAIRING(S): Vegito x OC/Reader, alluded Gochi, alluded Vegebul CONTENT: Canon Divergence, Slow Burn, Friends to Lovers, Family Drama CW(s) THIS CHAPTER: Character Death (in a sense).

No matter what she tried to distract herself with, she couldn’t rid herself of her worry. Whatever Chi Chi and Bulma wanted to talk about with him couldn’t have been good, and when Vegito didn’t return later that day, it spoke volumes. She tried to not think about it, knowing her place. It must have been a family matter, and she had no business involving herself there, lest she risk sparking more drama. She resigned to waiting for Vegito to come back on his own, however difficult it was.

The next day, it was another waiting period. She went about her day, going to work and returning in the evening, but there was no sign of him still. The anxiety grew.

On the third day, today, she’s had enough. She had a smaller shift, getting off in the afternoon, and she made up her mind to go directly to Capsule Corp and search for him. She just wanted to know if things were ok.

If they weren’t, she wanted to let him know that he could use her shoulders to lean on, if he needed it. The Saiyan had too much pride and emotional awkwardness to probably accept that offer, but at least she would get it off of her chest.

It was another average day for West City, though she hurried along its highway, face set with soft eyes and a deep frown. She mulled over what she was going to say when she got there, hoping that Bulma wouldn’t chase her away. Vegito made it clear to her that he and the scientist were not in a relationship, that having been settled way before he met her, so it wasn’t like Bulma could reasonably call her a homewrecker or anything.

Even if she did, she wouldn’t let that stop her from seeing Vegito.

She gripped her steering wheel firmly, maneuvering around the other cars as she exited the highway and entered the city’s inner streets. Capsule Corp was getting closer, and her impatience was growing, but she had to hit her brakes and go slower when she registered something very odd.

The sky was darkening, too quickly for it to be natural. Additionally, it was midday, and there weren’t enough clouds in the sky to blot out the sun. She looked around to see if she could spot the cause for it, and it did appear.

A colossal ray of light shot up into the sky from the center of the city, coiling as it rose. She watched with shock and awe as its shape changed, morphing into something that was serpentine. The yellow light faded to reveal an antlered green dragon with eyes a solid ruby-red, floating. Its head was angled down so it could gaze at the ground.

That had to be Shenron. Which meant… she looked to the source of its attention, right down to a circular building. The same one she was heading towards.

She fired up her engine, and sped there as fast as she could without breaking the speed limit.

The instant she parked her car, she jumped out of it, and ran into Capsule Corp. Vegito mentioned to her that he and his friends were the only people who usually gathered the dragon balls as they had a special device that could pinpoint each location of them across the globe, and they used Shenron only for what was absolutely needed. Someone here, or multiple people, were going to make wishes and she had to find out why.

There were employees out here and there, who quickly shifted to stand against the sides of the rooms and halls as she ran past. Common sense was telling her to ask them where Shenron had been summoned, but a stronger sense of urgency kept her moving with her jaw clamped shut. Recalling that there was an area right next to the building that was used for recreational purposes, she set her sights there.

Her lungs were burning, but she pushed herself forwards, jogging to the set of sliding doors that led outside. They opened, and she skid to a stop.

There was a group gathered around glowing spheres on the ground, which the end of Shenron’s body faded into. She recognized Goten and Trunks immediately. Their heads whipped around when she appeared, and they looked surprised. There were other people present she didn’t recognize however, like a man with spiky black hair who stood next to Goten. He too stared at her, puzzled, and she took in how his facial features were very similar to Goten’s. Distantly, similar to Vegito’s as well.

She noticed a blue-haired woman standing at the forefront, next to another woman who had black hair in a bun and who was wearing a Chinese dress with matching garb. The former had to be Bulma, and the latter…Chi Chi perhaps?

Bewildered, she jumped when a booming voice echoed through the air. Shenron’s jaws, lined with razor sharp teeth, moved.

“Your wish shall be granted.”

Its eyes glowed, the intense red blood-curdling. Quietly, she panicked, realizing that she just missed what Bulma and Chi Chi requested from the eternal dragon…

He threw another bone onto the pile with the rest, finished with his meal.

He’s stayed on this island ever since he left Capsule Corp in a fit of rage, and has taken time to think over things. Taking breaks from his brooding, and occasional exercises to work off more steam, the Saiyan did some hunting for food. Despite how terrible he felt, he still had an appetite, and he couldn’t ignore it.

The fish and birds he caught and roasted over a fire were good enough. The simplicity of it, and the alike circumstances, brought him back to the troubling time of his temporary living arrangements a year ago. Bulma and Chi Chi needed time to cope with the loss of their husbands, so he virtually had to live outdoors for a handful of days before Bulma decided to let him stay at Capsule Corp. It didn’t bother him, as both Goku and Vegeta had much familiarity with roughing it out in the wild, so he was content to hunt a dinosaur and have it be his dinner.

Words couldn’t describe how satisfying and vitalizing it was to eat something delicious, as your literal very first meal. It’s the littlest things that had the most impact, and what has helped motivate him to not dwell on his…tragic origin. He was placed into this world with one duty, and he had to bear it, with the stress and the consequences of it all.

Currently, Vegito sat at the edge of a cliff that overlooked the ocean, absent-mindedly watching the tide roll into the beach below. Deciding on what to do has proven impossible. It was far too difficult a situation to solve, and he would love to see someone else try to piece this baffling puzzle together in his shoes. At this point, his only hope would be that the women’s plan would fail. If it did, then-

“Gah…!”

He lurched forward, when a burst of pain sliced through him vertically from his head down to his midsection all of a sudden. It wasn’t necessarily a physical ache, but something extremely uncomfortable that cut right down to his ki. To his spirit. It was gut-wrenching, and it worsened until it became excruciating.

Vegito’s ki spiked and lowered erratically as his body tried to make sense of what was happening. His hair repeatedly turned from black to blonde, then back. He held his sides, groaning in agony and gritting his teeth.

A light had begun to shine within his chest, and gradually escalated in brightness.

…Did they do it…?

He tried to fight against it. He channeled his ki and powered up vastly, to get the ethereal force separating him to disperse. The pain did actually decline, but only a little bit.

It wasn’t enough. He could feel his strength draining.

In the recesses of his head, of his subconscious, there was a gap widening. Memories became scrambled and pulled apart, resulting in a migraine so severe that it trampled all the ones he’s had previously. The world around him fell into a haze he couldn’t see through. Before everything went dark, he did think about one particular thing.

He never got to say goodbye.

The light burst from his body. Vegito’s scream was cut short when his form faded into a glowing sphere that split into two parts.

They undulated and morphed, taking the shape of two adult men.

They stood, minds blank and regained senses delicate, as they took in their surroundings. They faced each other, wordlessly asking the same question, before it all rushed forward in a burst that made them flinch. They each experienced a flurry of their fusion’s memories, that begun when he was created and ended right at the location they were in.

They nodded at each other in acknowledgment, and the shorter of the two laid a hand on the other’s shoulder as he put two fingers to his forehead.

“Is there no other wish you desire?”

“No. That’s it.”

“I see. Farewell.”

Shenron’s body turned back into light, that was sucked into the dragon balls. The seven orbs ascended into the air, and slammed into each other, flying away in opposite directions that made them resemble small comets. The sky returned to its normal color.

No one said anything. Bulma and Chi Chi turned around, looking pleased with themselves. Their smiles dropped when they spotted her, but before a word was aired, there were two new people on the scene. Both of them were men of differing heights, and one of them had a translucent circle on top of his head.

Their faces were uncanny, and the one earring each of them wore…

… … …

The realization made her want to fall to the ground.

“Goku!”

“Vegeta!”

Their respective wives called out their names. They ran to them and embraced them with no restraint.

“Goku…oh Goku, it’s been so long…”

Chi Chi shed tears, and she buried her face into his chest. When he didn’t react, she pulled away.

“Goku…?”

Instead of at his wife - who he technically hasn’t seen in a very long time - he was staring at her.

So was Vegeta.

Their expressions were unreadable. She couldn’t take it.

Tears sprung from her eyes. Everyone present observed her as she backed away. Breaking into a run, she went back into the building and didn’t look back. A hand went to her lips in a futile attempt to soften her gasps for air.

Vegito was gone.

He was gone, and she never got a chance…

She reached the parking lot, and would have made a beeline to her car, but something grabbed onto the hem of her shirt.

“_____!” A youthful voice cried. “Please stay!”

Goten’s eyes were glossy. “Everything will be ok. You can be friends with my dad.”

Pain pierced her gut, and shot up to her heart. She appreciated the child trying to console her, but it couldn’t be helped.

“I…I-I’m sorry, but it wouldn’t be the same.”

At her reply, his lip puckered out, and his eyes sparkled with a visible fluid. A clamor of footsteps sounded in the distance, and the two were advanced upon by everyone else. Chi Chi stepped forward, teeth bared in a scowl.

“Get away from her, Goten!”

The boy let go of her clothing, but he shockingly didn’t do what Chi Chi commanded. He stared at his mother silently, dejected.

“You…” Chi Chi zeroed in on her. “I don’t know why you showed up, but this is a family matter that you have no right even seeing! Leave us.”

She was heartbroken, but she would be damned if she let this lady talk to her like that. A spark set off a flame, and her lip curled up in a snarl.

“You’re right. But Vegito was my friend. I cared about him, clearly more than you ever have! Which is ironic, considering who he was made of!”

She struck a nerve. Chi Chi was infuriated.

“How dare you! You don’t know WHAT you’re talking about!!”

Goku and Vegeta were staring at her again. She internally pleaded for them to stop.

“I know enough! I know that Vegito wanted to live! He had his own feelings, his own dreams! Despite that, he was committed to protecting all of you and this world, which was why he was even here to begin with! But you chose to kill him.”

She’s never been this livid before; her body was shaking all over. Chi Chi and Bulma looked like they were both about to pounce on her, they even inched forward, but an arm from each of their husbands shot out so they could halt them.

When the women gave them looks that asked what in the world they were doing, the men still didn’t speak. She had no guess as to what was going through their heads. She didn’t care either way. Her biggest priority now was to leave as soon as possible, as to not break down before all of these people who did not mourn the benevolent warrior.

“You two are so SELFISH.”

She ended her tirade. No one stopped her nor spoke further when she stomped towards her car, hopping in and speeding away once the engine was on.

In the confines of her vehicle, safe from prying eyes, her tears resumed with a vengeance. She cried.

She cried over the loss of the man who didn’t deserve this fate, and…

She cried over the loss of the chance she had, to make their friendship something more.

When she left, an awkward silence persisted in the group. Goku and Vegeta released their wives’ arms, and watched _____’s car zoom up the street and out of sight.

“…Daddy…?” Goten was first to speak, looking up at Goku with eyes brimming with tears. His eyes snapped towards the child, and after releasing a sigh of pent-up strain, he smiled.

“Hey buddy. Long time no see.”

Goten perked up, and leaped into his father’s arms. His older brother, Gohan, walked towards Goku and softly spoke a greeting with a bright smile that he returned. Chi Chi wordlessly stared at Goku embracing Goten, shocked and hurt that her husband stopped her from putting that ignorant stranger in her place.

Bulma too questioned why Vegeta did the same to her, but her happiness at seeing the perpetually-scowling man kept her from dwelling on it for the time being. Trunks was ecstatic himself.

“Dad! I missed you! So did Mom!”

“Hmph…” Vegeta’s frown didn’t falter, but he peered down at his son with fondness in his eyes. He didn’t look at all at Bulma, but she was unperturbed. Vegeta wasn’t one to get soft when she and him weren’t alone, and even then, he was soft in his own stoic way. She did make sure to point out an important detail, however.

“Vegeta, your halo. You’re still dead…?”

“Ooooh. That’s right, you never got revived.” Goku laughed. “That’s ok. I’ll go to Namek and use their dragon balls to wish you alive again.”

That small dilemma solved, the group dispersed, with the individual families looking to catch up with their respective members. Bulma and Trunks walked into Capsule Corp as Goku was surrounded by his wife and children, who all placed a hand on his body in preparation for he using Instant Transmission. Gohan informed him that his girlfriend, Videl, was waiting for their return at their Mt. Paozu home. He honed onto her ki, but didn’t teleport right then.

The two Saiyan men briefly made eye contact before the Son family vanished. They communicated without needing to speak.

‘Kakarot.’

‘I know, Vegeta.’

Basics:In one of the many possibilities of the origin of the multiverse there is the “Great Universe” timeline. One where only one gigantic universe was spawned from the origin in the demon realm. This butterfly effect caused plenty of extra changes across the multiverse.

Muses:

The Grand Priest/Dai:The guardian angel of the Great Universe. Being much more active due to him no longer focusing on solely overseeing the Omni-King. But despite there only being one universe he still created his many children. Which causes his true form to have quite the expansive backside.

Cosmo:Grand Destroyer of the Great Universe. Overseeing the destruction of places he deems unworthy to exist. Unlike his sons(Beerus and Champa) he doesn’t do them for the sake of things like food. Instead he much prefers testing the strength of planets which has caused many races to be much stronger.

Wyne: A very hot-tempered wife of Cosmo and mother to Beerus and Champa. Despite having a portly figure, her true form is extremely muscular. She is able to take the likes of her family with ease. She is often seen as a "cougar", doting on younger men. Her body turns a flaming red when angered

Zamasu:Great Supreme Kai of the Great Universe. Life linked to Cosmo and creator of new planets and forms of life. While like his main counterpart he has a distaste for mortals he cannot do much given how many mortals possess godly powers. His body usually being incredibly feminine but bulking up when angry.

Whis:Very much like his main timeline counterpart if more mischievous and not being an attendant. Due to not having the angel law of not intervening he regularly messes around with mortals. Helps he inherited his fathers rump.

Vados:Also much like her main counterpart but more mischevious and not being an attendant. Usually going around and gathering cute men for her harem. Her large muscles nearly smothering many of the strongest men in the Great Universe.

Beerus:A young man for his species(which is still thousands of years old) his personality is mostly in tact. Still being a grumpy and food loving cat but instead of being a destroyer he’s a martial artist. Usually wearing black leather clothes that he tears up with his muscles. He bulks up in muscle when anger

Champa:Also a young man for his species and still being mostly the same personality wise. Wearing very baggy pants and a tank top that tightly fit around his fat body. He puffs up with fat when angered

Vegito:In this timeline Vegito is the original form of Goku and Vegeta. Having taken both Bulma and Chi-Chi as wives his muscles and member only grows as he powers up. Starting in base and going up to a mixture of Ultra Ego and Instinct.

Son Gohan:Vegitos first child and member of the Galactic Patrol. Being trained by his father has allowed him to reach unprecedented powers. Unlocking a second stage of beast where gains hyper sized muscles and gains traits of the Oozaru form. Parts of him turn into an oozaru when angered

Son Bra:Vegitos second child and defender of Earth. Being born a mutant she has potential even higher than Gohan. But she struggles with it as she’s prone to pushing her body so hard her muscles inflate like balloons. Leaving her unable to fight till she shrinks.

Xicor:A Saiyan born from a fusion of Saiyan and Angel DNA. While his father is lost to time his mother is Vados from when she decided to allow herself to get pregnant. Having an immense respect for divine figures and having his own power called “Spirit Killer” due to his peculiar heritage(basically SSJ5 with Broly muscles.)

Chi-Chi:One of Vegitos wives and Gohans mother. She remained a warrior causing her to become incredibly tall and muscular. Along with being blessed with near invincible breast.

Bulma:Vegtios other wife and Bras mother. A brilliant scientist who has been using technology to train her children. Along with making herself more pretty and inflating her rump.

Android 21:Bulmas close lab partner. Usually a thin and voluptuous woman she becomes incredibly fat when she activates her Majin form. As she had devoured a cookie containing Buu during this timelines Buu saga.

Android 17:A super powerful cyborg made by 21. His upper half fat but his backside is one of the largest on Earth!

Android 18:A powerful cyborg made by 21 and 17s twin sister. Her appetite being near unstoppable as she eats her body weight nearly every day. If not for her cyborg enhancements she would be immobile by now.

Broly:King of a Saiyan colony planet on Vampa. Looking and acting like Super Broly but having clothes and a body similar to Z. A kind soul that tries his best to keep the remaining Saiyans in check.

Cheelai:Despite not being a Saiyan she is Brolys chosen queen. Looking incredibly overdue pregnant but only being a couple months along. Her species just has large pregnancies. Despite that, she has an ancient power that stays dormant in her. Her body tends to bulk when she gets riled up

“Baby”:A cloned body of a previous king of Saiyans possessed by a Tuffle parasite. Turning itself into a great ape and basically living on a section of “New Planet Sadala” where it’s constantly bathed in blutz waves. Despite his large and powerful body he usually remains on his side or he has to battle Broly.

Saiki/Janemba:A mob boss from the demon realm who escaped death by possessing the body of a feminine young man. But he’s forced to share the body by swapping back and forth between himself, Saiki, and an odd middle form.

Bergamo: The leader of the Trio of Danger who happens to be powerful wandering mercenaries. His base form is much taller and bulkier due to his intense training. His ability to absorb blows and change sizes has been enhanced but his body tends to grow in all sorts of weird ways if he gets too big

Golden yellow fur bristles, he'd been just resting after traveling through time and space after the latest fight (deciding a nap wouldn't hurt before he caught up to another wayward fusion) which had left him feeling just the edges of exhaustion. He really needed to get better at managing his sleeping patterns than what they were now, sleep only really got him when exhaustion decided it had enough of him testing it's patience. (Which was far more than anything Chi-Chi or Bulma had!) Then just as he's about to let the edges of sleep dig in, adrenaline pumps through his body and super saiyan doesn't fade away like it was going to. An abrupt voice from close by, golden furred tail whipping to the side and quickly wrapping around his waist as he registers it being commented on, however only then does his foggy brain kick into gear and translate the rest of the sentence to him. Oh. Oh. Someone is going to kill him if he messes up the timeline here. That can't possibly- no. The memories he has certainly suggests- oh kami. Well not like he can mess up anything, only way Goku finds out about him is so many years from now he'll probably forget. More than likely.

"What're you doin' all the way out here. Also that's once heck of a way to greet someone." He jests in good nature.
