Ducktales Villains update:

Scrooge doesn't go on adventures anymore, so Glomgold thinks he won and is no longer a villian.

I saw this from the deviant art account DarthDestruktor, but Big Time Beagle is the new leader of the Beagle Boys. Ma retired, in a sense.

Magica De Spell found her brother Poe with the help of Scrooge and Louie. Magica and Poe are still doing evil, but they now leave the McDuck family alone. She has also married Gladstone Gander and still has Bradford as a familiar.

As established in Beaks in the Shell, Mark Beaks is a nobody and no one cares about his company, he is still rich though. He has a daughter, Wren Beaks, who was partially raised by her grandmother, Emma Glamour. Wren is into computers and tech like her dad, but is creative and can actually build things. She also likes fashion.

Don Karnage didn't die in the crash, but he was severally injured. He lost his arm, one leg, an eye, and his snout. He has also lost his crew and airplane in The Lost Cargo of Kit Cloudkicker, so he doesn't do pirating anymore. He wants even more revenge on Dewey Duck. Don now has a grandson, Don Karnage iii, who he is training as a pirate to revenge Dewey.

Doofus Drake loss a lot of his money and all of the power over his parents because of Boyd and Louie, but after The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck, he is no longer an enemy and wants to become friends with Louie again, but Louie isn't interested. Doofus doesn't hate Boyd anymore and considers Boyd his brother. Doofus even dated Webby for a little bit before she left him. Him and Webby have a child, Doofus Jr. Doofus loves his child, even though they don't really have a close relationship.

A lot of F.O.W.L. is alive: Taurus Bulba, Steelbeak, Phantom Blot, and Pepper. Taurus Bulba is the new leader of fowl. Phantom Blot and Pepper are now married. Steelbeak is trying to get revenge on Dewey.

Timmy Jenkins isn't really an enemy, but I thought there should be more pig ocs, so Timmy is now a famous movie actor and director, since his whole thing is that he upstages Dewey. He has a niece, Taylor Jenkins.

I love that this drama gets into what makes someone properly alive. There is no question that KC was created by dad (and YJ, tho we don't learn that until later) but that really isn't a reason dad can kill him - I mean, every child is created by their parents but the law frowns on parents killing their kids and "I made them, I can kill them" is an excuse only in Gogol's Taras Bulba.

But what does it mean to be alive - is it to have free will (which Kang Chul is developing as we speak) or is it just to be real - because the moment YJ could feel him as a real person of flesh and blood, he is a real person to her and free will is immaterial in this instance (there are religions that believe every move of every person is predestined but that still doesn't lead to "and this means no free will and murder time for all.") But even before she dropped into that world and it became real to her - was that world real? I love that stuff!

Ok I want to talk about something that's been on my mind for years now. Why isn't it addressed that Darkwing duck technically has a form of PTSD, and on top of that was suicidal.

I'm saying this cause in the 2nd part of Darkly Dawns the duck when Gosalyn says. " If it wasn't for me you wouldn't have to risk your life". Darkwing says this to her.

" Gosalyn before you I didn't have a life worth living". Which causes them to hug and stuff. However I couldn't help it and thought of a deeper meaning to it. In a way he said to her his life didn't matter to him. That he could die and he'd be fine with that.

I'm sorry but that is major depressing. And then you realize for Ten years Darkwing has been completely alone. The people he does talk to pay him no mind often treating him like a nuisance. We can all agree his parents were assholes 😡 and he probably was bullied his entire life.

Just think though ten years alone. No one to say Happy birthday Drake, or Spend Thanksgiving and Christmas. He hides his pain behind a mask. Literally and figuratively.

I don't even know how he found the tower. I have this headcanon his parents kicked him out in the middle of a dark winter night. When he tried to go back in his father pulled out a gun. So yeah his parents were awful.

As for PTSD. Well I think he grew up in a crime ridden neighborhood where you heard people dying, drug addicts, this is really dark but in my headcanon there was a pedo that lived next door. Enough said.

But most activities happened at night. His father would beat him every night till the kid passes out. Which is why the mallet line. Though he would never actually use it.

I personally think Bulba reminds drake of his father so he is very intimidated by him.

Ok I'm going to stop now cause I'll start crying 😭.

Hey Drake, have you ever considered that the reason Gosalyn tries to tag along on your crime fighting cases is because she's worried that you wouldn't come back alive? I mean just think about it, who knows how her parents died, and she lost her Grandfather to to that monster Taurus Bulba. She can't lose you too. I think deep down underneath all that spirited bravado beats the heart of a little girl concerned for the safety of her adoptive father. Don't you agree Drake?

Oh I know... Gee. Gos is always so scared when I go on missions... she lost too many people in her life. She doesn't want me to die too...

But I always try to tell her that I will be ok... That I will get back up no matter the bruises, scars and wounds I suffer!!

You know I saw your response to the character ask thingy about Da/bi and how you got influenced a lot by his fans(of course you had the other reason too)! It’s made me come to a conclusion - his stans are literally his own worst enemy 😂🤣! Like obviously people will hate him for other reasons, but having engaged with a lot of peeps I seen such a huge amount of people voicing their distaste for the character not because of the character himself but because his stans are so annoying & loud & aggressive. That they made others hate him, I personally don’t hate or like him but yeah I’ve came to that conclusion - they’re their characters own worst enemy!

I was way more neutral on him when I saw his fans less, I won't lie! I mean he is the type of person I'd hate (very infantile, a literal manchild) but I just didn't care enough and even found his plotline intriguing. At the same time, it annoys me to the bone how people try to make him a cool revolutionary and not a cruel murderer with father issues. Like, be real. This is a whole-ass manchild. A 25-year-old that acts like he is still 5. You can enjoy these types of characters, sure but you can't just close your eyes and pretend this isn't the most immature butchboy the world has seen. It just pisses me off so much when fans create so much fanon it doesn't resemble the original character anymore... I also feel like it's under-addressed how his infantilism is BAD and not uwu he was traumatized so it's ok

I am also really into parents murdering children (Taras Bulba will do that for you) and am kind of disappointed that it's all about saving our precious baby boy Tooya and not preventing him from committing more murder. Like. Think of the victims for a moment, ok?

Hihi, it's good ole Oh from @cyclizarkid (And, more relevantly, @johto-golden-boy ) here! I made another. Cause Falkner is honestly one of my favorite characters.

(The sprite is one I pulled from Bulba and resized. Everything is the same except for the colors of his eye and haori :D )

Eventually, I'll make him an About where I can keep the "Canon" of this blog updated. For now, I will simply put it here. Falkner is the gym leader of the Violet City gym, and has been since he was (at least) 14. He is 18 during the blog's timeline.

He's friends with Gold, and close with Morty. I may or may not hint at Honorshipping but unless you directly ask him (And he still may not answer. He's a silly little guy) I'll probably never have anything stated directly. Regardless, he spends a lot of time in Ecruteak, and Morty a lot of time in Violet.

Falkner's father is dead, and this may be a topic that is discussed on this blog. Any posts discussing this will be tagged with "Parental Death". Exactly like that. If I forget to tag something, please let me know. You can DM me or send an ask, just let me know.

It’s not only Donuts, the one on the top left is an Austrian carnival speciality called Krapfen. Traditionally it’s filled with apricot jam, but recently there are lots of different fillings as well (I think, apricot is still the best, though)

And the one on the top right is my favourite Japanese donut: Golden chocolate from Misters Donuts (how I amiss their donuts) when my parents visited me in Japan, we went to the store in my University town every day, because of their donut + coffee set with a free coffee refill 🍩☕️🥰

I have to remind myself sometimes that Darkwing is, at his core, a gloryhound for recognition and kind of got an ego the size of Texas, but at least his main redeeming trait that makes us overlook that is that he genuinely cares about those he deems as his family and has a soft spot for kids.

Like, that's the only thing that separates him from Negaduck, since they're so very much alike in personality. If I may make a comparison, the old Sonic the Hedgehog comics from the Archie publications had a fantastic concept between Sonic and his own Nega of sorts, Scourge, in which the only thing that made them unique between themselves was that Sonic had people to care about and used his skills to better other people's lives than just use it for himself:

((Seriously, wouldn't be surprised that the old Sonic comics were inspired by DWD to some degree when it came to Anti-Mobius [Moebius], like, there's another universe where everyone is a personality swap and the Anti-Sonic rules over them by intimidation. I mean, heck, there's even one issue that has cameo silhouettes in a crowd with Darkwing and Megavolt that are clearly thier shapes, so the comic people clearly are fans))

An interesting detail to me is that Claire's outfit in the photo compared to the outfit she's wearing when talking to Darkwing is clearly for different seasons:

Since Darkwing went off the grid for a year, and we can assume it's been months since his return at this point, then it's safe to assume that QuackerJack and Claire spent at least one holiday season together before stuff went downhill. I really want to know if he got to meet her parents, and how that conversation must have gone:

Claire's Dad: ... So, um, Jacky, was it? What exactly do you do for a living?

QuackerJack, in full jester garb, prodding mashed potatoes with a fork: ... Entertainment product development. I also majored in fashion design and wanton property damage. These potatoes are fantastic, thank you.

Well, Bulba did get rebuilt by F.O.W.L into a death machine in Season 3, but Season 3 didn't get a dvd release and you gotta do what you want cause a pirate is free find alternate methods to catch the last 31 episodes of you don't wanna pay for Disney+, but yeah, that's a detail that can get lost in the weird way Darkwing media is distributed

What I wanna know is why Bulba decided to mess with QuackerJack's rehabilitation attempts in the comics, considering those two are in different circles entirely. Bulba is a mob boss, and QuackerJack is a supervillan. That's like if Falcone decided to start undermining the Joker at every turn after taking over the city.

You just don't do that, they have no reason to interact. 🤔

What reason does Bulba have to keep QuackerJack under that much work pressure? What did QuackerJack possibly do to tick off a cyborg mobster enough to get emotionally crushed like this? What is Bulba's damage??

Something tells me Darkwing should have been more concerned with the fact that everyone inside the Time Top came out with more trauma than they had before

I just re-watched Darkwing duck 1991, and now I can't stop thinking about Drake being friends with Villain y/n (ALSO CAN I BE :] ANON BECAUSE I AM A HUGE FAN OF YOUR WORK AND THIS IS ACTUALLY THE FIRST TIME I SENT AN ASK SO I DONT KNOW WHAT I'M DOING)

He would deny any claims of them being friends and even though he would advise Gosalyn not to befriend any villain he's a parent and he's allowed to not follow through his own advice (which doesn't excuse him but shh)

He would try to convert you to be heroic and would always volunteer to investigate any case relating to you. Even though he does have this weird fixation with you that doesn't mean he would tolerate any of your villainous schemes. If needed, he would apprehend you and keep you in the lair for as long as he can until you can outsmart the mask hero and escape (Which is hard but not impossible)

If you ever collaborate with another villain (For example Taurus Bulba, or Bushroot, or even worse Negaduck) he would try to convince you that you are being brainwashed and would go to no lengths to separate you from your villain of choice. If the villain ever decides to backstab you Darkwing will act out of impulse and pummel the villain until the ground and his fist are stained red.

Anyway that's all I really have after watching several episodes of Darkwing duck 1991, keep up the great work, and remember you don't have to write if you don't want to cause you are not required to

Imagine the other villain betraying the reader by pushing them to Darkwing in a fight and then fleeing, only to be caught off-guard when Darkwing temporarily ignores the reader in favour of chasing the other villain.

QuackerJack caused a bullet ant infestation that resulted in St. Canard being fumigated, which is probably one of the reasons he was sued

QuackerJack's weird eating habits includes, but not limited to: Eating Mac and Cheese as a scoop in his hand like an apple, eating coleslaw out of a paper bag with his fingers, drinks ranch dressing straight out of the bottle, chomps down on a soda can to shotgun it, etc...

QuackerJack's plumage is underdeveloped, and better resembles down instead of guard feathers. They're very fine and fluffy, and not very waterproof, hence why he can't float like other Ducks. This gives him the Duck equivalent to being "baby faced", which he finds embarrassing. Part of why he wears so much attire is to draw attention away from that.

QuackerJack went to the Duck-verse equivalent to Woodstock when he was 19. Yes, he did have a VW esque van, and yes, it was a pretty awesome time.

QuackerJack is a licensed nail technician, but business for such a salon in a predominantly avian city is pretty non existent. The reason for this is because he took college courses in fashion and cosmetology in order to better design dolls that would appeal more to customers.

Aforementioned fashion classes were very helpful in his costume design skills as well.

QuackerJack checks the dump regularly for discarded game consoles and controllers so he could gut them for parts to repurpose into his mechanical creations

Pertaining to the "QJ is Goz's Bio Dad" theory, him being so is why Taurus Bulba targeted him in the comics during his time working at QuackWerk.

QuackerJack is canon to Super Smash Bros (something I've been working on for a while now, with some posts linking the ideas via connecting game appearances and all that, but basically, because he's in "Disney Heroes Battle Mode", he's effectively linked to Wreck-it Ralph, which includes links to specific game franchises that would be in SSB, as well as linking to Kingdom Hearts and Minecraft, both of which were added to SSBU after I'd half-joked about those being the missing links)

The only things I really project would be a few quirks and similar things I always related to that I would know how to write about properly because "write what you know". 👀

Also, I just want him having amblyopia to be reasonable because I never see that get represented and Nega-QuackerJack having those thick crafting glasses at least gives me hope

In the episode Getting Antsy Darkwing mentions a baby blue blankie. He says " I can't wait to get home to my pillow and my blue blankie".

We know he didn't have this blue Blankie before he met Gosalyn and Launchpad. So how did he get it.

Well my Drakepad brain gave me this idea.

LaunchPad bought it for him. To help him with his anxiety and mood swings. Remember he gets very depressed on weekends. Also you can't tell me he wasn't traumatized at all by that explosion from Taurus Bulba. And the years of solitude not to mention he probably had horrible parents.

So I think Launchpad and Gosalyn chipped in and bought Drake a blue blanket. Blue because of little girl blue.

I like to think Drake sleeps with it every night because it also has there scent on it. LaunchPad learned the hard way don't wash this. He likes the oily sent of the Thuderquack and Launchpad along with Gosalyn sporty scent in his baby blue blankie..

Anyway that's my theory. I'm sure at first he was not into it. Until he smelled there scent so now he is like.

He loves it
