March 2021 Roundup
Fanfiction
Twenty Seconds IT (Muschietti), Richie/Eddie
The first time they say it out loud. Kind of.
Meeting Good Omens (TV), Aziraphale/Crowley
Aziraphale and Crowley's first kiss.
bigger, badder, cooler IT (Muschietti), Richie & Stan
When Stan comes into their dorm room at 9:46 a.m. his curls are in a riotous disarray, his shirt is buttoned wrong, and there are three different shades of lisptick smeared all over his face and neck. His eyeliner, however, is perfect.
Pisces IT (Muschietti), Richie & The Losers
The Losers plan a surprise party for Richie's birthday.
No Match for The Love IT (Muschietti), Richie/Eddie
Richie wakes up naturally to peace and quiet on the day of their one year anniversary, which, quite frankly, is the opposite of what he was expecting.
(Your Love) Thawed Out IT (Muschietti), Richie/Eddie
They're probably going to get murdered by a fucking clown demon tomorrow, so Richie and Eddie celebrate their last few hours on earth by having the best sex of Richie's life. It doesn't seem to matter very much to Richie's mind, body, or soul that he's supposed to be straight.
Myliobatoidei Buzzfeed Unsolved, Shane/Ryan
“I am not a demon,” Shane insists. There, in his bathrobe, with his horns and scales and pitch black eyes, Shane insists that.
Daisy Chain Buzzfeed Unsolved, Shane/Ryan
1: "Why exactly do you need chloroform at 2am?" 2: “I’ve never killed anyone before.” 3: saying something dangerous like 'I love you' 4: “I didn’t intend to kiss you.”
October Buzzfeed Unsolved, Shane/Ryan
When Ryan brings Shane the coffee he’d picked up for him on the way in to work, and Shane looks up at him and smiles, Ryan just has to kiss him.
Letterman Jacket Buzzfeed Unsolved, Shane/Ryan
The demon inside Shane likes Ryan almost as much as Shane does.

Hi everyone! I’m currently in the process of transferring to a new university and one of the biggest parts of that has been planning out and scheduling which classes to take my first semester, in hopes that I can graduate at the same time as people my age :’) As someone who’s planned how to graduate in three years not once but twice now, I figured I could share my experience and/or advice with anyone looking to maximize their college academics!
1. Establish a timeline: Ask yourself how many years you’re giving yourself to complete your degree as this will help you figure out how heavy your course loads will have to be to graduate at your expected time (this could be anywhere from 2 years to 5 or more). At my first college, I planned to graduate in three years in order to save money and because the school had easier academics, so I was confident I could handle the extra work. My new plan to graduate in three years is so I can graduate with other students my age, set your goal!
2. Now that you’ve established a broad timeline, it’s time to start looking at potential majors/minors and career tracks: Hopefully, this is something you’ve started looking at before applying to college, but don’t worry - it’s not too late! As someone going into college with the knowledge that I’d be taking out max loans each year, I tried to figure out what I wanted to do early on so I could maximize my credits ie take as many required classes as possible and not ‘waste’ credits on classes that wouldn’t really contribute to my degree (ofc I ended up changing my mind 3/4 of the way thru the year but that’s life). I narrowed my options down to 3 or 4 majors and managed to eliminate 2 of them pretty early on.
3. With at least one track in mind, research all the requirements to earn a degree in that area: Universities often have “general education requirements” regardless of your major, so you take classes in multiple disciplines and broaden your perspective. Course catalogs/general bulletins/college websites are where you can find info about your gen-eds and major-specific required courses. It’s really helpful to map this out by hand or in a spreadsheet program (I did it both by hand and with Excel to stay uber-organized). This is also where you can narrow down the majors you’re interested in by looking at the required courses and course descriptions. I considered a Data Analytics major early on, but after seeing how much coding was required (not a strong suit or interest for me) I could comfortably eliminate it.
4. Reach out to your advisor/navigator/registrar to clarify any questions: If you’re confused by any of the requirements for your major/gen-eds, talk to someone at the university. I feel bad for the numerous advisors I’ve had because I pestered them with questions so I could have a complete understanding of everything - it really helps in the scheduling process and I’ve never had a staff or faculty member be irritated by the questions - they love to help (plus it shows initiative and starts forming connections which is A+). Seriously, reach out if you’re confused, don’t just sit in the dark!
5. Map out required courses and pre-requisites: This is where Excel or Google Sheets can be your best friend - they make it really easy to keep track of what needs to be taken when. Some courses require a certain academic standing (sophomore, junior, senior) for you to take them, others require you to take several classes before you can register for it. Certain progressions of classes can really limit what your schedule looks like, so this step is incredibly important (and somewhat time-consuming).
6. Generate a slightly less vague timeline: Based on pre-requisites and required class standings, begin to assign classes to fall and spring semesters. Let’s say you have to complete a senior capstone in order to graduate, and you can only take it senior year, write it into the timeline. Maybe you need to take Math123 and Math124 for your major, but Math124 requires you to complete Math123 first. Place 123 into a semester and 124 in the semester following that. This doesn’t have to be exact, but it’s good to be aware of what your future schedule will look like, and what classes you need to take sooner rather than later (this is also time-consuming because you’ll find numerous variations in potential schedules).
7. Determine the courseload you’ll need to take: Some people luck out and have lots of AP/IB or like credits that will transfer into real college credit, helping to eliminate the number of classes you have to take (I was not such a person). You’ll generally receive a credit evaluation during the summer before the first semester so you can plan accordingly. Most advisors recommend taking 15-17 credits, but if you need to take more so you can graduate faster or less so you’re not overwhelmed, do what you need. I ended up taking the max credits allowed then over that, but that’s only because I was pushing so hard to graduate faster. This kind of ties into the last step, but you also need to evaluate your personal strengths and weaknesses.
8. Determine the courses that will maximize your first semester: Fun fact, your major requirements can often double-dip and count for your general education requirements too! Look at the pre-reqs for your higher-level classes and try to choose those that will open up the most classes, see which of your major required classes could count for gen-eds, such as humanities or science courses. If you’re between a few majors, look for classes that a required for them. For me, I was between a Business Administration or Sustainable Business major, so many of the requirements were the same. I took classes that could count for both, but if I wanted to go one way or the other, I wouldn’t be screwed over.
9. Try to balance the courses you NEED to take with those you WANT to take: I’m a humanities kind of gal (science has not been mon ami in the past) but both of my colleges require science and math classes. So, when I have to take a math and science course simultaneously, I try to add in some of the subjects I’m stronger in (history, english, etc) so that my GPA wouldn’t die. If you’re fortunate enough that affording college isn’t a concern, I’d personally say take as many courses that interest you as possible, but when financing a higher level education is more of an issue, complete your requirements but leave some space to explore your interests.
10. With a handful of courses in mind, look at actually scheduling your classes: With online registration, you can generally look at which classes are full, what times are available, etc. Are you really, definitely, for sure a morning person who can handle that 8am? Do you need a definite break for lunch? Will you be more productive in the mornings or evenings? Are there multiple profs for the class and does one have better ratings than the other? (ratemyprofessor.com is a lifesaver) Is there enough time outside of class to study/do extracurriculars/have a social life? Sometimes you’ll really need to take a class and it’ll be at some ungodly hour, but sometimes you gotta suck it up. Try not to overload one day with classes and make sure there’s enough time between classes to get to your next class, especially if your school has a large campus. This part is really based on personal preference, so enjoy it!
11. Give yourself time to do all of this: Especially for a first-year college student, there’s a lot already happening, and the opportunities are endless. It takes a lot of time to thoroughly research. This is a big process if you really care about being organized, and it can set you up for great success in college! All of these steps are really tied together but you’ll need more than one day (I took several weeks lol) to plan out a college career.
12. It gets easier: After doing this for just two semesters, I was much more comfortable making these big choices. For my new university, I managed to accomplish this in only a few days, but I was already familiar with the major I’m pursuing and how to lay everything out. For those of you continuing in college, consider mapping our the rest of your time if you haven’t already, and keep track of the courses you’ve taken and still need to take! This way, you won’t be thrown any loops when graduation comes.
Disclaimer: This advice is based purely off my own U.S. college experience which is undoubtedly very different from others! Ultimately, pursuing a higher-level education is your own personal journey, and do what you need to do to find success, this is just me trying to help out others!
If you have any questions about any of this, want to talk scheduling with me, or see my schedule planning notes and spreadsheets, just message me, I’m always willing to talk and even more willing to make friends!

Resume Basics
having a strong resume is crucial for job applications, scholarship applications, college, etc. it is a sales tool and, ultimately, the first impression an employer/application reviewer will have of you. therefore, you need to make it interesting and impressive. below, i have listed a few tips and need-to-knows to help you build your resume. keep in mind that this list is geared toward industry jobs. while the information is still useful, it may be less relevant for those applying to digital marketing/design jobs.
General
make different versions of your resume. by this i mean, have a master resume that lists everything. then, from that master resume, make specific resumes for each opportunity you are applying for.
in high school/university, it is usually best to keep your resume to one page. unless you have done substantial work and are capable of filling up two pages, it is best to keep it short and concise.
always review your resume before submitting !! it is crucial that your resume does not include any typos
Formatting
keep your formatting consistent throughout your entire resume
use 11-12 point font, your name/headers should be no bigger than 14 point font
have a 1 inch margin all around your resume
do not include decorations (unless you are applying to a digital marketing/design job where aesthetics matter !!)
keep your font selection professional. my personal favorites are times new roman, garamond, and helvetica.
do not use caps unless it is for headers/titles (but even then, use caps at your own discretion)
Sections/Components to Include
name & contact info (phone number, email)
summary/3-5 second snapshot of your greatest accomplishments
job/internship/related experience
publications & speeches
awards & recognitions
memberships & affiliations
certifications
language skills
special/technical skills
extracurricular activities
Synonyms/Power Words
instead of “new,” use “unusual” or “innovative”
instead of “improved,” use “better” or “faster”
assessed/measured/quantified
conducted/performed/undertook
created/designed/developed
optimized/maximized
increased/reduced
spearheaded/led/directed
~~~
please let me know if you found this helpful !! i would love to post more comprehensive tips on cover letters, interviews, networking, developing your linkedin, etc.
mood: pretty happy if i say so
entry: I found this old journal that my mom used. It got hand down to my younger sister who eventually gave it to me when she couldn’t fill it up. I am now using it as a bullet journal because there are still a lot of pages left! I’m in love with how big and roomy this journal, and it’s very cute!
Hello! Can you give me any commonplace book ideas? I'm in love with the idea of having one, but I don't know how to start
Hi! I decided to write up a masterlist about ideas to put in your commonplace book. :)
Interesting quotes
Stuff you read in a book or blog and want to remember later
List of books you want to read
TV shows people recommend you
Sketches of people you see at work or school or on the street
Collage & glue pictures into your book
Newspaper/magazine article snippets/headlines
Perfume samples
Pressed flowers
Wish lists
Stories/anecdotes from books or real life
Outfit ideas
Middle-of-the-night thoughts
Shower thoughts
Taking notes while you read (even just a novel!)
Compliments you’ve received that made you happy
Recipes you’ve tried and loved
Self-care tips
Home improvement/design ideas
Art & design
Poems
Character ideas/sketches
Travel notes
You can keep a single commonplace book for all your interests, or multiple commonplace books for various interests! My grimoire is basically a commonplace book for witchy info. Same with my art book, and my garden/kitchen book.
Here are some additional resources about keeping a commonplace book:
HOW AND WHY TO KEEP A “COMMONPLACE BOOK”
Everyone Should Keep A Commonplace Book: Great Tips From People Who Do
Before Bullet Journals, There Were Commonplace Books
The most important thing is to remember your commonplace book is whatever you want it to be, and it absolutely can’t be done wrong!
In My Bag
enhypen 8th female member masterlist
wattpad | open requests / ask della!
(italics dialogue = english) (bold + [ ] = video captions)
"Lala," Jay said in a cute voice. Della sat beside him, placing a blanket on her lap and her bag on the table. Since Sunghoon, Jake and her always sit next to each other, Della's turn is after Jake and before Sunghoon.
"First and one of the most important, bujo," Della said, taking out her navy bullet journal.
"Of course," the members nodded at her.
"I plan everything here, if a member is confused about our schedule or something, it's all written here," she explained, giving it to Jay so he could have a look at it.
[#INFJ_essentials]
"Look at this," he showed the camera a quote that Della wrote by hand. "It always seems impossible until it's done," he read out loud.
[DELLA is skillful at typography]
"What does that mean?" Jungwon asked.
"It always seems impossible until it's done," Della translated.
[Quotes inspire DELLA to be better]
"Ah, that's a nice quote."
"Next, octopus," Della took out her reversible moody octopus plushie. The members laughed and awed at their baby. "If I'm ever upset at the boys, I can just-" she cut herself off to flip the plushie into a mad expression, making the members laugh more.
[#Moody_baby]
"She actually does that! It's so cute!" Sunoo exclaimed.
"Usually she pouts when she does it, like-" Heeseung cut himself off to demonstrate, which was followed with a lot of 'that's right's. "It's so cute!"
[The members have seen it a lot]
"It doesn't actually happen often, but I like bringing it just in case," Della smiled widely.
"Deodorant, perfume and toothbrush, of course," she took them all out in one go.
"Portable charger," she held the pink square up. "-but I barely use it."
"Honey!" she exclaimed, excitedly showing her bottle of honey. The boys laughed and questioned her why. "Like Jake, this helps with my throat," she explained.
[DELLA's go-to remedy for sore throat]
"Ah, yes you've been using honey since I-Land," Sunghoon pointed out.
"Yes but I guess it's also for Jay-oppa, just in case he feels stressed," Della smiled at Jay, passing him the bottle. He smiled at her and felt his heart swell.
[#Considerate_baby]
"Thank you," Jay said affectionately.
"Airpods pro," she said, stretching out the 'o.' "I have an ENHYPEN keychain," she showed off.
"Eyy," they teased, flustering Della. They do so but everyone knows how flattered they are.
[#ENHYPEN's_number_one_fan]
"Vitamins!" she took out all her small vitamin bottles. "C, D, multi vitamin, collagen, supplements," she listed, smacking the bottles on the table in order.
[Health conscious so she can be on the top of her game]
"Why do you have so many vitamins?!" Della was laughing at the members' reactions. Sunoo and her have a lot of vitamins. The room was a mess for a few seconds before eventually calming down.
"Moving on! This is a pouch for the smaller stuff," she introduced.
"Liptint, lip balm, eye drops, hair ties, hand sanitizer, a pen.." she listed, bringing out the contents.
"My ID!” she confidently showed the camera. Jay quickly protected her and hid the card with his hand.
[#Baby_proudly_showing_off]
"Why do you bring your ID?!" Sunghoon questioned with a chuckle.
"Why don't you guys have your ID with you?" she questioned back. "It's for emergencies!"
[#ID_is_an_essential]
"I brought mine, too!" Sunoo jumped in. Della looked back to quickly give him a high five.
[#03z]
"03z," she smirked.
"Then feminine products that I can't show and my phones," Della took out both of her phones and finished her 'tour.'
"Wow," Jay clapped before the video cuts to a shot of the things Della showed earlier.
[Moody moody octopus]
[DELLA's bag]
della:
hybe's editor: BABY
DELLA CARRIES AROUND THE MOODY OCTOPUS PLS- 😭😭
Della really loves the members a lot. The way she looks and cares for them like how she packs Jay honey or keeps asking questions so the members talk more. No wonder they're so whipped for her
della always looks so strong, i didn't know she had to drink that many vitamins ☹️
It's confirmed. Della does have two phones
why is no one talking about della's handwritten quote? ITS SO PRETTY
The admiration on Jay's face when Della said the honey was also for him 😩😩
03z having similar items is so cute
NOT DELLA CONFIDENTLY SHOWING HER ID
another episode of della finding everything heeseung does funny
della's outfits are always top tier
THE WAY JAY WAS STARING AT HER MY JELLA HEART 😭💗
notebook, wip, personal (writing ask game)
I am so sorry in advance this got really long
notebook ; how many notebooks do you have? do you write in them?
ahahahaha this is a loaded question. I have at least 8 notebooks that I either actively use or plan to use once I finish the current ones, and dozens of those cheap free notebooks that you get at events just sitting in a box for writing down quick random notes that I don't want in one of the others, if you know what I mean? Just memo logs.I also have several notebooks for lab, engineering projects, and school notes but those don't count. Out of the Real Notebook Stash I have:
Weathered Leatherbound with a strap to close it that I started using as a diary in 2020 and quit when The Apocalypse happened. I've restarted it as my session notes for DnD because I'm in 5 campaigns and have the memory of a goldfish and it fits the vibes
Falling apart dot-page journal from Walmart that I use as my daily habit tracker/diary/bujo/scheduler and take everywhere
Two sketchbooks: one for messy sketches that lives in my bookbag and one big one with better paper that I use for my marker illustrations
Prayer journal that was a Christmas gift from my friend - it's not a devotional with certain Bible verses but each page has a place to write your fears and prayer intentions and what you're thankful for, so it's more guided which I like. I listen to the daily liturgical readings from USCCB or the chronological Bible in A Year podcast from Ascension every day and use it for Lectio Divina. So I'll write reflections on the reading and how it ties to what's going on in my life at the moment. Diary 2.0
Two leatherbound noteboks embossed with trees and flowers that have metal latches I love dearly and haven't started yet, one was a gift from my best friend and the other was a gift from my boyfriend. They will likely become either more dnd notes once I finish the other leatherbound, or a character journal for Madelyn. In Laoche, she keeps a spellbook that becomes kind of her lifeline, and I think it will be cool to fill a notebook with entries from her perspective, worldbuilding notes on the places she travels, scrapbooked with cool things I find, etc. So it will be used I'm just not working on it right now.
My bookbag is so heavy it's becoming a problem
wip ; talk about one work that you've recently started/just started!
I think my most recent are "Space Dragons!!!" aka WorldWanderers, which is exactly what it says on the tin. There isn't a WIP Intro yet because I don't have a set plot yet, but there's a masterlist of mostly worldbuilding rambles here.
I also recently came up with a fantasy story where the magic system is entirely based around textile arts and lying/storytelling. It's set in an ancient/prehistory setting where gods and spirits walk among humans and features a matriarchal society, but it only exists in a discord ramble with the ever-patient @siarven at the moment.
personal ; is there anything that you always try to add to your writing? like a message or moral? anything that you like to read, so you write it yourself?
Family and religion are both really important to me so my work always has Catholic themes in it, though hopefully they're still appealing to a secular audience. I write them without the "christian fic" label because I don't like that, but the morals are there if you put on the apologetics glasses lol.
Thanks for the ask!
everyone has their own opinions about bullet journals. for some, they’re a little too high maintenence. for others, they’re literally as though some divine being reached down and placed a system of organization in front of your face. if you couldn’t tell, i’m one of those people, and i’d love to help other people get their bullet journalling feet undernearth them!
so, the first thing you’ll need to do is introduce yourself to bullet journaling. it’s a stable in the the studyblr community- a type of planner that you create yourself. it was invented by a super nice dude named ryder carroll, and is literally a planner-like system that you create yourself in a journal. you log with a series of bullets (dashes, dots, the like), hence the name bullet journal. here’s the website if you’d like to know more!
but, your first step on the bujo tour is notebooks.
favorites of bujo-ers include the leuchtturm1917 and the moleskine. often, people choose notebooks with dotted or grid paper, but it’s all about what makes you most comfortable. now, back to notebooks- while both the aforementioned options are wonderful, they’re pricey as all heck, and honestly, any notebook that you are comfortable using and spending time with works. it doesn’t have to be the type everyone’s using on studyblr to be functional and/or useful. so, the rundown: find a good, sturdy notebook with a paper style you like that you’re comfortable using. great!
next step: your key.
the key is the system of bullets you’ll use to indicate tasks, events, notes, ext. a dot usually indicates a task, an x usually indicates a finished task, a > means migrated/scheduled (i forget bc i don’t use this), a circle indicates an event, a dash indicates a note, a clock indicates a deadline. BUT because this is a system tailored to you, you choose your indicators! if it’s easier to use a box and fill in the box when you’ve completed a task, you do that! if you wanna use planets for a task (coolest key i’ve ever seen; i wish i remembered the url of the blog that did this), you do that!! whatever helps you rapid log your tasks :)
the other (optional) part of the key is color coding. really all you need for a bujo is a pen or pencil (studyblr favorites are muji gel pens, pilot juice and/or pilot g2, staedtler triplus fineliners [my favourites], and stabilo fineliners) and the same concept as notebooks applies here. while there’s a lot of hype about fineliners, zebra mildliners, high lighters, tombows, ext., they’re not necessary to have a good bujo and are also ridiculously expensive. if you feel you need those pens, then, by all means, get the pens! but don’t let studyblr peer pressure you into buying things you don’t need for the sake of aesthetics- you can have a vv aesthetic bujo sans mildliners. BACK ON TOPIC- create a color code if you’d like the differentiation between your academic/personal/work life. or, if you want more differentiation between subjects within schools... color codes are very useful.
next step!!: set up ur bujo
aight. so, there are a few ~important~ pieces that the bujo has. first is the index. keeping an index requires numbering all your pages and logging what’s where/ it can be great if you’re dedicated, and you need to be flipping back and forth in your bujo. if not, ditch it!!
next important original piece is the yearly spread. you write down each month and tasks u gotta accomplish in each month. if you don’t get a task done in one month, you migrate it. again, your choice whether or not to keep it.
NEXT is the monthly spread. original layout is all the day numbered out, with the days of the week next to their corresponding number. you log ur events and tasks next to each day and you’re done! obviously you can switch it to suit you more- i’ve seen box calendars, i’ve seen calendars with a section for academic and personal lives... play w your spreads people! also obviously after your monthly spreads are your daily spreads which functions like a planner except you use you bullets from your key to log your tasks! sO! that’s your basic set-up!!
next: other things you can add 2 your bujo
after my monthly spread i like to add a habit/mood tracker (super helpful for making me stick to my resolutions), a memories/music pages (very optional- i like to look back at my old bujos) and a page with my ~goals~ for the month. i also have, in its own special section, a few spreads for school. i wrote out my schedule, my semester calendar (special school events), and information about my classes (teacher contacts, ext.). again, you can make these or you can not.
other spreads i’ve seen include a movie/tv show tracker (to keep you from starting 80 bazillion shows at once), study logs, a book list, an expenses tracker... you name it, you can create it! a bujo is basically the best place to just shove all of your to-do lists and have them together.
optional: makin’ pretty spreads
for years, my mom told me i would never be creative. i am still not very creative. HOWEVER, there are ways to make your bujo beautiful without being an artist. i use washi tape and printouts from weheartit to create a collage that inspires me for the week. washi tape and printouts are optional, and washi tape is a lil’ too addictive. you can use stickers, paint, paper mache, whatever! if you’re an artist, combine your bujo and your art journal and make these beautiful artsy weekly/daily spreads! it is all up to you!
(note: you can also make beautiful minimalist spreads w just a pencil- just draw some flowers and i guarantee it will be beautiful).
conclusion:
a bujo is what you need it to be. if you want it to be plain n’ simple, it can and will be plain and simple. if you want it to be minimalist and beautiful, you can do it! make it functional for yourself bc in the end it is all about you.
go forth and prosper my baby bujo-ers! also ask me any questions you have please :).
extras that you’ll find very helpful probably:
studyign’s youtube playlist on bullet journals
my bujo tag
a gr8 bujo page ideas list
how 2 fake calligraphy
really simple doodles (i can’t draw but these are vv nice to mimic)
that’s all 4 now folks! have a great time <3
