You can never have too much research under your finger tips!! The above images are from ‘Diablo III: Book of Tyrael’.

Tyrael, formerly the Archangel of Justice, now the Aspect of Wisdom, is a mortal angel —a maverick to the High Heavens, and a stalwart defender of Sanctuary, who opened the gateway to Harrogath and helped destroyed Mount Arreat.

However, if you are looking for a good Diablo 3 Art book, I’d recommend ‘Diablo III: Book of Cain’.  It has the same images (for the most part), more insight into the events of the Diablo 3 game-itself.  As well as, events that led up to it and some the things that happen in the last two game plays.

The extra lore and images really help light the fire needed to pick up the speed with my Maghda build.  With roughly 3 months left until convention, there is no time to waste.

HOOOOHOHOOHOHO hatchi matchi this beast is finally finished!!! I seriously underestimated how much work was involved in this costume between hand-cutting the HTV on the bodysuit, rigging the hood, draping the coat, and individually vinyl wrapping almost 120 foam blobs -_- Trigun means a lot to me (like seriously, i've been posting about it for years and it was my very first anime) and Knives's new design is just so unique it really inspired me to make it irl.

I'm happy that I finally got to manifest my interpretation of Millions Knives after crunching for so long on him !!!!!!! enjoy !! !!!!! (also cosplay tutorial/guide coming soon 🥺)

Step 1: Prep your fabric rectangles. Place ‘pretty’ sides together.

Step 2: With ‘right-sides’ together; I stitched around the perimeter with a 1/4″ seam allowance. Making sure to leave a gap, to turn each moth right-side-out at a later date.

Step 3: Cut off the corners, making sure not to cut through our previously made stitches.

Step 4: Each moth was then turned right-side-out. The corners were carefully pulled out to a point (as best as possible).  Gap is pinned closed.

Step 5: Using an 1/8″ ladder-stitch; each ‘moth-gap’ was hand stitched closed.

Step 6: The steam setting on my iron was a life saver... or moth-saver! Each moth was pressed, flipped, and pressed again.  It is important to make a night clean/crisp, flat, shape to work with.

Step 7: Now it is time to pull out the sewing machine.  As much as I want to fold them all up, I need to add a little more tender, love, and care.  A stock embroidery stitch was selected with metallic thread to add filigree to the perimeter of each prepped-moth.

Step 8: Time to start folding!!!
