Rubber Ducky Isopod sketch.

The ‘rubber ducky’ isopod is a miniature pet with a duck bill face. I see it more as a Darth Vader helmet , haha. These cute little guys are really awesome!

If they ever breed them in jet black, they can call them Vader Duckies! 😅

Big bug ramble~

Alright I got asked to show off my bug taxidermy so here it is, also couldn't resist to add some of my other bug stuff (key word is some) enjoy!!

Here's the ones I have personally pinned, the ones on the left are specimens from SEasia (gifts from a teacher of mine :3) and the ones on the right are all from around the pacific northwest (where I'm from!) The ones in that case are pretty old and from when I first started to ignore how bad they are (and they are ones all found outside so some had tattered wings to begin with)

Here's the only one that I didn't pin myself. I bought this at a convention 2 years ago and I love it sm! <3 I also included my favorite bug sticker book i got in Seattle and some of my bandai bug figures :3

Here's most of my bug pins, the rest are on my backpack or have yet to be put up. Also that's a lady bug rug i made when I was like 7

Here's most of my bug books (again, there's likly more in my room somewhere) and yes I was the type of kid to carry around nature and biology encyclopedias EVERYWHERE

guys!! cool thing (imo) !! (kind of gross bug thing if you dont like bugs)

so i collect bugs in jars if i find them not alive and in one piece right and i have this carpenter beee

and i've had him for a little while now right and today i noticed that another insect seemed to have like,, hatched out of him???

so cool thing i dunno i was like what !!! no way !!! so i did a little googling and i think hes either a thick-headed fly/conopidae or some sort of parasitic wasp

anyway i just thought that was so cool - little disappointed though that my bee will probably be eaten for the most part and that fly/wasp wont survive very long either due to lack of oxygen :/

I don't know if I've ever spoken about this before here, but I do bug collecting! Specifically butterflies and moths. I've had my eye on getting a male Rajah Brooke's birdwing for a while, so for Christmas my parents bought me one!

The left photo is the underside (which I stared at for like 10 minutes because it's so damn pretty) and the right is it pinned and framed. Just thought I'd share :]]

i don’t get when people say that music sounds like a particular season

to me all songs suit most seasons, they just feel different

for example, bug collector is very autumny but is so good in spring and summer too and maybe even winter too

Putting a spotlight on Lovebugs.

Lovebugs can be quite a nuisance, but they are very good for the environment. They lay their eggs in decaying plant debris (like grass cuttings from mowing your lawn), and they then eat the debris and expel some essential nutrients back into the soil.

They are beautiful, and deserve the recognition.
