Had a dream where the first new episode of Phineas and Ferb had Baljeet and Buford, in the first scene they showed up in, say, "Oh yea and we're together now" while holding hands and blushing. I vividly remembering shaking with pure joy.

honestly, they are kinda better. I like BNHA as much as the next person but Bakugou bullied Midoriya emotionally throughout his entire life, told him to die numerous times and physically abused him for no reason all the time.

Buford and Baljeet are different as once Baljeet learns to stand up for himself. (the Baljeatles) their relationship becomes more of a Frenimies/Rivals sort of thing. Bujeet is what Bakudeku wishes it was (do not kill me)

So a long time ago I drew Isabella in fifties attire cuz I wanted her to be in “My Sweet Ride” so badly, and when I looked back on it recently…

…yeah. 😂 I had to redo her design, I just HAD to. And since I’m on a “Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet need to hang out more” kick, you get some 50s Buford and Baljeet style too.

(Also gonna tag @dooffirmations, cuz she totally inspired this actually bfbfnfnfn, I now accept the headcanon that Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet were hanging out the whole time during “My Sweet Ride”, cuz what else could they have been doing?)

As much as anyone likes drama between the intimidating brothers, phineas Flynn and ferb fletcher. Let’s step back and think of Baljeet tjinder. High intelligence, and a horrible habit of overworking himself.

Baljeet was well known of phineas and ferbs reputation of fun and new adventures each day. Alongside the other two, Buford and Isabella. He was also tagging behind with their adventures.

Making sure nothing could go possibly wrong in each one just as ferb does. Sometimes though his calculation’s are not accurate from his lack of sleep. Not as accurate as ferb anways. Baljeet found himself jealous of the brother’s higher intelligence. The intelligence he worked so hard for. But it never stopped their friendship or adventure.

“What is it you wanted to tell us?” Baljeet pops the question, as the three Isabella, ferb, and himself stood in the backyard “it’s still cold can we not we do this inside?” He asks. Looking up at the forever night sky. “It wouldn’t have been any better with dad and mom in there” phineas said. He always seemed so skittish to be with his friends when his guardians were here. Baljeet nodding in defeat crossed his arms “so what’s this news that you called us..” he checks his watch “at 10 AM” he said. The sky threw him off, ever since the sun seemed to dim for an unknown reason. “Uh..yeah me and Buford has some hopefully good news!” Phineas exclaimed, he fidgeted with his hands “me and him are a thing..” he mumbled. Quietly. “What??” Baljeet leans in a little to hear phineas speak, “WE’RE LIKE GAY CATS” Buford yelled instead to spite Baljeet. “Gay cats-??” Phineas faces Buford confused “what do you mean gay cats??” Phineas asks again. Buford picked up phineas in one easy swoop “Buford!!” Phineas exclaimed still fixated why they were cats. Buford kissed phineas’s cheek “why we’re cats?” He asks as phineas crossed his arms. Embarrassed. For a good reason too “yeah..” he mumbled, “you’re chaos. An orange cat, I’m a black cat” he said. And everyone knew that was their dynamic.

“Congratulations you two!!” Isabella said enthusiastically, in awe of the relationship as she clapped her hands together, hair swaying left and right “when did you finally confess?” She asks Buford, causing him to now wanting to die. “A week ago..” he muttered. “Hah! Good for you guys” she said happily.

Ferb just simply patted phineas and Buford’s shoulders.

As Baljeet watched, heartbroken.

Liking someone who’s been by your side for years surely takes a tow on you. Especially when they’re your bully.

I tried but I am actually so tired.

It took me a little too long to make this design anyways maybe the next one will be Buford’s design. Or ferbs

I have to admit, I have some mixed feelings towards 'Act Your Age.' I do find the episode mostly enjoyable, the humour is good and obviously I do love Phinabella's first kiss. However, there are some implications that I don't love. The idea that Phineas and Isabella don't see each other for a whole summer, Isabella distancing herself from Phineas, and (my biggest pet peeve) the guys not telling Phineas his crush is very much requited because "guys don't talk about feelings."

However, all mixed feelings about the episode itself aside, 'What Might Have Been' is just such a beautiful song. It perfectly gets that bittersweet atmosphere and Vincent and Alyson did such a good song singing it.

Not to mention this line:

"I tried to make the most of every day, but now the years just seem misspent"

What a HEARTBREAKING line. We know how much Phineas loves his invention, so the fact that missing Isabella is enough for him to feel like he wasted his time (which may not be exactly what he's feeling but I can't think of a better way to say it) is just such a sad thing. Honestly, I liked WMHB as a kid, but as an adult it just hits so much harder.

Anways, that's my 'What Might Have Been' appreciation post done. I really do hope the new seasons will revisit the gang in high school if only just for an episode because I want to see pining Phineas x oblivious Isabella.

at some point i have to recreate the bizarre baljeet x buford amv vision i kept imagining when i was like 7. in it baljeet was living with buford and was sleeping in the same bed as him (????) and baljeet was going to india for some indefinite period of time and for some unexplained reason so he got out of bed early without waking buford up because he didn't want him to be sad when he left, like all romantic and wistful and whatever. and this was all set to some song i forgot. what the heck
