Seems like Dave is trying to collect the full set, so I don't think they're consumable items. Maybe they're some sort of passive buff?

If Terezi is trying to raise Dave's combat abilities, then what they're saying here is that John will become an exceptional fighter.

Currently, he's not too bad - but that's mostly due to the strength of his equipment, rather than his own power. Maybe that's going to change.

Does Terezi know what's going to happen after the Scratch?

Everyone keeps saying, or at least heavily implying, that the Scratch marks the absolute end of the session. We already knew the kids were going to survive this, since they're planning to meet the trolls - but I always assumed that the game would be over.

But what Terezi seems to be saying here is that after the Scratch, Dave can still gain experience as a Player - as if the game will, in fact, continue. Keep talking, Terezi.

well, I think I've got a timeline for about every john swap there is! and a few repeats, haha. I don't remember a whole lot about most of them, but I can share a bit about what I do know!

John Lalonde rose-ways (my Rose Egbert tl)- a nice guy! he was goth and a film buff. he dated Dave on Earth C. since his handle shortened to TT, when we were younger I would pretty often call him titty

John Harley (my Rose Strider dave-ways tl)- nice guy, but took no shit. he wasn't willing to rekindle our friendship after I had a really bad time shortly after we finished the game and pushed him and my other friends away. I'm not sure if he ever forgave me

John Strider dave-ways (my Rose Harley tl)- I don't remember much of him, but I do know that when Dave assigned our friend group bugs, John got a worm
