a/n : not much plot to it but ! it's the feels of not being able to forget someone and maybe, you're better off longing for them than try pressing down your feelings. anyone out there longing for their special someone, I just wanna say it's okay to feel that way :3 it may not be the healthiest choice, but allow yourself to long for that person until you feel it's time to actually let them go <3 enjoy !

things were just never the same anymore, it couldn't. I'd keep having dreams about you, about us. those sweet, spring memories we shared now embedded in my head like a broken record. those days when we spent our mornings showering each other with kisses, when we would take night walks in the park, when we talked about spending the rest of our lives together. those days, when we loved each other like there was no tomorrow. we did, but it just didn't last forever just like what we had wished under that shooting star.

I admit, that I still love you, the same or maybe even more than I did back then. I truly believed that we were meant to be, and no one can tell me otherwise as I've seen those eyes of yours bear the same endearment for me as I do for you. it sounds cheesy, but I am willing to be if it's you. however, as much as I want to let go of you, I don't think I'd ever come to terms with the fact that you did. we were so beautiful, don't you think so? it was as if the world revolved around us. I know we will never be able to go back to those days, to love each other again.

every night that came and went in the same repertoire. staring straight at the ceiling, reminiscing the times I still had you in my arms, crying myself to sleep, jolting awake from the same nightmare, hugging myself back to sleep. the pain was almost unbearable when it gets to the nightmare. it was my regrets for not doing my best for you, and the mistakes that I wished I hadn't made. I could never stand to see tears in your eyes, especially if it was because of me. on the day you left, you looked me in the eye, with tears threatening to roll down your crimson cheeks. that moment broke my heart to pieces, noticing the burning sensation of the wind against my skin.

when I'm sober, everything I did numbed me to the core. when I wake up to your side of the bed empty, seeing that the once lively space all dull with silence, the fridge slowly emptying, leaving nothing but water and some alcohol. it's like I stopped functioning properly when you're not with me. the flowers that you loved so much don't look as lively, the warm breeze that greeted us daily slowly getting chilly, the stars that we spent hours looking at don't sparkle as much. you brought so much color to my world, and it returned back to being monochromatic, like those times before I met you.

you brought so much joy to my life, and I have never felt so grateful for being alive. it was the first time I felt so euphoric, fortunate to see that very smile of yours when you look at me with such affection. that smile was for me, because of me, only me. you made me feel like the luckiest person on earth to love someone as wonderful as you are. I can only hope you felt the same way as I did.

all the things in my life took a turn, not a good one at that, after you left. you took a part of me with you when you told me that things weren't working out. what did that mean? was I not doing good enough? did your feelings for me change? there were so many questions I want to ask, but sometimes, they were better left unanswered. these daggers piercing through my heart are more than enough to leave me bleeding profusely till I can't feel love anymore.

as I spent each day, yearning for your warmth and affection, there's something that I've come to realize as I take a step back to look at things. there will be no one else who would be able to fill your spot, not even with time. it's been months, almost a year that I've been standing here, not knowing what is wrong with me. that's because, nothing is wrong. everything made so much sense.

I love you and nothing can ever change that fact. even if you don't love me anymore, that's okay. all I will do is just stand here right behind you, protecting you from the shadows. although there might not be someone who would be by your side all the time, I will be right here behind you. until the day I get the chance to stand next to you, be the one you can rely on, I will be here for you.

note : this was in fact written back in june during the great treebark drought and im only bringing it back from my drafts now

so martyn used to be in a (2nd-gen)group called "y.cast" in a different company than the one hes currently in, but when his contract ended he decided not to renew it, and left to his present company. hes still technically part of the group but bc his old company sucks they barely get to make any comebacks, so hes mostly focused on his soloist activities as "ITLW".

meanwhile, ren is in a (3rd-gen)group called "hct" as "RD"(hct is similar to nct, has a lot of members and lots of little sub-units), rens currently in a sub-unit called "hct nbh" and a duo called "octagon", hes the main-vocalist in both, and hes also an actor(id like to think that hes a bit like jongho from ateez, in that he likes to practice acting in the groups dorms, even back when he was still a trainee, and also bc main-vocal).

they had met each other before while promoting, but got really close when they were filming a K-drama together called "3rd Life" the first part of the life series, where they played "The King"(ren) and "The Hand"(martyn).

5) The song I like to daydream to is so ironic because you’re learning the dance, but Enhypen’s XO (Only If You Say Yes)! I’m literally obsessed with the vibe and instrumental (JVKE is also amazing with those), and it helped me with writer’s block for a few days. Such a sweet song, and so easy to just slip into hopeless romantic mood with it for the fanfics 💪

6) I think have BTOB’S Hope You’re Doing Fine on several of my playlists 😍 fire song, fire vocals, and it fits so many vibes (in my opinion).

10) Song to dance with my future partner would probably be Earth, Fire & Wind’s September. Idk, just makes me so happy, and I feel like we would have a blast!

13) Song that reflects my views on love is IVE’s Next Page. I think it portrays fear of the uncertainty of the future, but also loving someone so much that they’re excited to see what’s gonna be next. I think it’s such a great and hopeful message, but lowkey so romantic too. Like navigating the world together, and even if it’s hard, they’re willing to. I don’t know how to articulate how I feel, but the lyrics basically say it all, and I just love the song so much (this and Hypnosis are my favorite IVE songs)!!!

Kinda? Not religiously but I did get a few of the older albums + rockstar for christmas/my bday last/this year so I have the photocards from them! I think I have about 6 of the albums? So I have those photocards and things :) as for magazines I have Chan's NYLON mag because I did really love it lol

I was going to get Seungmin's elle mag but it sold out </3 I have a bad affection for print media so it's probably good those 2 don't get many shoots lol

I haven't actually bought any other groups albums but the next time I get albums from Korea (prices work out WAY cheaper than to buy them anywhere in aus lol) I'm def gonna pick up nmixx's new album and maybe btob's lil keychain one... maybe... as a bday present in a few months lol But outside kpop as a teenager I was super obsessed with the all girl teenage rock band The Runaways and I have a bunch of their Japanese magazines that are a3 sized, vinyl including live recording bootlegs and picture disks and stuff- pretty much the only things I ever got for my bday between ages 13 and 18 were old runaways/Joan jett memorabilia- it was all cheap at the time but after the movie about them came out the prices went up so I guess teenage me got in at the right time.

Eunkwang: He's such a sweetheart, such a gentleman and just an overall upstanding guy. I remember when Changsub's sister said she was in love with him, and that he's an ideal guy (like a person that grows on you by how nicely he treats you). He's definitely husband material.

Changsub: he's Goofy as hell but still knows how to reel it in at the right times. Cares deeply for others, worries a lot about the ppl he loves. Although he may hide behind humor a lot, his truth gets revealed through his jokes. He gives tsundere vibes. Like the type of person to tease you and pock fun at your appearance, but you catch him admiring you when he thinks you're not looking.

Sungjae: I think he's pretty Goofy as well, but his humor is for helping bring up the mood or make others feel better. He could be a bit of an attention seeker, though, so sometimes his jabs can be at others' expense when he wants the spotlight to be on him. Like the kind of guy to poke fun at his friends when a girl he likes is around. (Which I find annoying when ppl do this)

Minhyuk: He also is a nice person and cares for others but only at his own security. If his life is not going well, he focuses on himself and everybody else don't exist/matter (which isn't exactly a bad thing but I think he doesn't have a good balance of giving love to others while giving love to himself). I'm basically saying he's selfish and self-centered. He probably finds it hard to put himself in other ppl's shoes.

Peniel + Hyunsik: The negative things I sense from both of them are similar to the other, so I placed them together at the end. Hyunsik is a guy who is quite moody and sensitive. One day, you get his best. The next, you get his worst. He gives off pervert vibes (not in a creepy/bad way), but he may sexualize ppl too much. He can be a bit unstable and too detached at one point then too involved at another point.

Now, for Peniel, he is quite strange to me. He seems very detached from his emotions and mentally out of it ( it could be bc of his Moon in Libra, but he may literally mentally check out whenever and wherever). A guy who doesn't listen well and isn't paying attention most of the time. He seems chronically forgetful too, like someone who would forget important events/dates, and it can really hurt others' feelings.

Edit: Actually, I think Minhyuk is higher than Sungjae. His energy is a bit better.

When his lips pressed against yours, you knew there was no going back.

It was supposed to be a simple cover for a training session. You both had extra hours to clock on your field training sheets, and volunteer work at the academy was the best you were getting.

You were expecting some guest lecturing, and so was Spencer. Which is why when you got cast as couple #1 in the faux hostage training scenario, you were surprised.

The fake bar the FBI had set up was impressive, and your instructions to act like a couple were suggestive at best.

For the next half hour, you got closer and closer, practically seating yourself in his lap as you waited for the scene to begin fully. You knew the students had to study every moment leading up to the scene, but you were starting to sweat under his intense gaze.

You'd gone from having his hands on your waist to his hands on your ass. From there, he'd pulled you into his lap, letting his hands rest in between your legs. His lips had pressed gently against the top of your head, then had worked their way to your shoulder, getting heavier as each minute ticked by.

When you finally gave in and turned to plant a kiss on his lips, you knew you were done for.

This may have been a fake scenario, but the bathroom stalls were real enough, and you sure as hell needed him to drag him off to some private area now if the tent in his pants was any warning.

Just as you opened your mouth to let his tongue slide in, though, the shouts started around you.
