do i like pinterest- gosh i literally appreciate pinterest so much for giving me wonderful images whenever google is being mean- i dont usually use it for any of that stuff but i do like scrolling through organizational and studying stuff and also for bts XD

silver definitely u-u gold is more expensive and more likely to be stolen, besides silver is just makes more of a statement and is more festive-

oh gosh... ive always opted for simple because it makes me feel comfortable but to be extravagant atleast once in my life sounds quite thrilling!

I GOT SO MUCH TO SAYYY!! gosh pls dont find me weird okay, and these are just my personal opinions and im not hating any groups!! but my unpopular opinion is: i think kpop has become very toxic after bts and bp got famous in America. And tbh if you ask me, i wouldnt want any other kpop groups to be famous in America... i only stan exo but i think i speak for all groups when i say they are safe as they are now... of course if exo ever get even more famous i will be happy and proud for their success. But look how fame and America has changed bts and bp... not tryna hate but look theyve changed, idk if anyone else noticed but after fame hits bts, i realised how theyve start to become very...white?? like they are so westernised and like example, they start focusing on America only, they even curse (not a lot but i’d still point out) casually like for example, jungkook singing a curse word in his cover song for jason derulo savage love i think (speaking of cursing, after nct127 got famous in usa mark started getting influenced by them too and he casually cursed like “oh fuck” and everyones like 😃😆) even i curse and im not saying cursing is BADD but yeah i am, and how they sing a whole song in english, not to even mention how toxic america is but in grammys they have sold tons of albums yet they didnt win anything but when they release an english song, they won.

Some half of them americans are very toxic, racist, and just theyre basically acid, like bruh, its evident that once bts got famous there are soooo much hate thrown towards bts too cuz theyre asians, or how some would say theyre gay or look like girls...if my favs (exo) ever get these kinds of treatments (not that they dint but veryy little cuz thank god they ain exposed to the western culture) i will B R E A K, i could never handle that so i would never want that to happen to them. Also noticed how, after bts got famous, most armys are equally as toxic, whether they are just stanning bts just cuz theyre famous there, or like how their fans dont even know anything abt bts and coming after so many groups and their fans. Most of them are fake and i think its cuz of the fame for bts lmao. One thing i’d like to say too tho, is how they are so overrated and their songs are played all the damn time, people would randomly talk abt them, like everywhere you go THEY ARE JUST THERE, like in my opinion if i am an army, i would just feel like they are so common and theres nothing special about them anymore and theres no excitement, like what even is the point anymore. idk if anyone gets me but thats just how i feel about my favs being “wOrLdWiDe fAmOuS”, i will love them and their music but its just something i think about tbh🤷🏻‍♀️ like let me listen to them on my own and vibe and love them, dont play it 24/7 just cuz they are famous and ure tryna get people’s attention, like imagine ure in the subway and u hear ur favs song cuz its EVERYWHERE and ure there like 😐😐 not that u dont love their music but its cuz horrible people dont deserves to listen to their songs, and like people arent going to appreciate them anyway so yeah i feel uncomfortable listening to my favs as others dont even bother, like imagine if that subway is filled with people who are in ur fandom, yall would just hv the best time in the world and VIBE, if not what even is the point. Kpop has become extremely toxic with the growth of international fans and the rise of 3rd/4th gen. I wasn't around to experience the previous generations, but I know damn well they weren't a mess like these newer ones are.

Gaining fame in America does seem to change idols, and idk why. The group members change and the music changes also. While I do enjoy hearing idols swear (guilty pleasure) and I am an American so I get to enjoy their English songs, I can see how it makes all the other cultures/countries feel some type of way.

I will say this, though, the Grammys are shit and I dont get why people care so much about them. They've proven time and time again the awards don't go to the best artists. However, this doesn't mean that I think BTS deserved a Grammy imo.

Americans are a very toxic and hate filled bunch (again, I am one, so I get to see this shit every day). I 100% know that some of the hate directed towards Asians is because of racism (as seen by the insane uptick in crime against Asian Americans right now) and because some see kpop male idols as too feminine.

BTS is literally everywhere, which is one of the reasons I stopped listening to them tbh. They'd be in commercials, on talk shows, late night shows, in magazines, on the radio, just everywhere. It took the joy out of watching anything from them just because they were always in my face, so I can see what you mean.

I feel like the relationship between BTS and army has changed (from an outsiders perspective). Its no longer about loving and supporting your group and being happy for them. Now, its "so-so wants this? We MUST do everything in our power and spam every possible thing ever so they get what they want". Its almost frightening. They also no longer care about the quality of the music being put out. Doesn't matter what it is, they stream the ever loving shit out of it and make it break records when, honestly, it doesn't deserve to (again imo).

Lastly, I didnt get mad or offended haha. I understand a lot of these viewpoints, and thank you so much for liking my work!! I do wonder what would happen if I made a true BBH centric fic and not just spin offs or continuations of previous works where oc ends up with BBH 🤔🤔 I think that fic would have too much power haha.

"Gotta take these files to the office quick", you run, your hands full of heavy files. You pass the main lobby of the hospital and see that a small crowd had gathered there. Who's here? You thought, as you slowed down your pace to try and look at the crowd. Oh, wasn't Min Yoongi going to get discharged today? You thought suddenly. Did Ann even go visit his room yesterday? You sighed. That girl's definitely the most idiotic person you've ever met, apart from Exci obviously. You rolled your eyes. As you sigh and try to move towards the corridors again, you think. I've got to ask that girl what happened yesterday. You start walking a bit faster. God knows what's wrong with that girl. She even bit my han--- "Ohh", you yelp out as you run into someone and fall down on your back. You mentally slapped yourself for being so careless, what were you even thinking, Sophie? Now you gotta pick up those files now, you scolded yourself.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to do that", the man you had run into, bent down to help you. "I'm really sorry," he repeated, with his eyes shut. You bent a little to look at this man's face properly. Wow, he's actually quite handsome, you think. And look,how he crunches his nose in embarrassment, with his eyes shut. So adorable, you think, getting carried away by the good looks of this stranger. Hey, young woman, what's wrong with you today? First you walk like a klutz and run into a guy. And then you ogle at him. Ugh, Sophie get a hold of yourself! You told yourself. The man knelt in front of you was still muttering apologies while picking up your files, and avoiding your gaze, as if ashamed to do so. You sigh and try to pick up the file right next to you.

As you hold the file and are about to pick it up, another large hand covers your own. You blink twice to see if you're seeing right. Then start blushing furiously. What is this guy upto? "Oh I'm so so sorry", the man removes his hand as quickly as he had put it over yours, his cheeks red. You giggle a bit at his embarrassment and mumble out a 'okay'. Shaking your head, you go on to pick the next file, when once again, your relatively small hands get engulfed by his larger ones. You move your head up to give him a suspicious look, and you get quite amused to see a man turn so red. But he doesn't let go of your hand this time. Instead, he clasps your hand with both of his own, and starts apologizing again. "God, you'll have to forgive me for being such a klutz. I really get nervous at times like this and I do weird stu-" you look down to see your hand in between his, and he immediately lets go off them,once again starting off with his apologies. You start laughing now and say, "it's fine, you don't have to apologize so much. It gets annoying after a while you know". At that, he panics again. "I didn't know that, I'm sor- oh wait, I'm apologising again. What's wrong with me??!", He gasps and looks at the ceiling in frustration.

You giggle a bit and stand up, files in your hand. He tries standing up too, when suddenly his face contorts in pain and he falls down to the floor, clutching his back. He keeps his eyes close for a while and you throw down your files again, sitting down beside him. "What's wrong?", You ask worriedly. He keeps his eyes shut in pain and then slowly opens them again, his eyes showing relief. "It's nothing", he says. "This happens at times, but the pain goes away quickly", he blurts out. You raise your eyebrow in suspicion. "That doesn't sound too good", you said. "Were you hurt?" "It's nothing really", the man smiles at you. "Doesn't seem like that to me", you add. Your doctor instincts suddenly were switched on and you started eyeing him suspiciously. "Hey! Stop looking at me like I'm some kind of a criminal", he complained. "A guy not confessing his injuries to a doctor is essentially a crime", you give him a glare. "Are you a doctor here?" , He asks, glancing around. "I get that a lot", you smile. "Yes, and no", you reply. "I'm more of a medical researcher and although I have done my meds course, I don't see patients. But I'm also a doctor, just not one in practice", you laugh a little at him. "Oh", he replies. "Yeah, now tell me what's wrong with your back", you point at his spine area. "Ever heard of BTS?" He winks at you suggestively. You groaned. "How's this even relevant? And yeah, I know them. My friend probably is dating one of the members right nor. Or not. Idk", you say.

His opens his mouth in an 'o' as he makes the connection that the girl in front of him was probably a friend of the girl Yoongi was dating right then. Now, that was interesting. He shakes his head and looks at her. "A music box fell on my back", he laughs at you. You scrunch your face in disapproval. "Why's everyone in BTS getting hit by music boxes? Throw them away, they're probably haunted", you shake your head. The man laughs. He looks good when he smiles, you think. "Yeah we need to consider that. But the thing is, the music box dropped on my back AFTER it hit Yoongi. Poor guy had the worst of it, obviously, but I've had a pain in my back ever since", he ended.

You gawked at him. He was walking around with a spine injury like that? "You know how dangerous that is?", You tell him. "If not treated properly, it'll get worse till you'll never be able to dance properly again", you warn him. He sighed. "That's why I should've got a doctor girlfriend like Yoongi".

"What?", You blink at him. "Nah it's nothing. It's just that Yoongi had to go through a lot. The company was really worried about his health and I didn't want to be an extra burden on them", he added, his hands rubbing the back of his shoulder as he smiled meekly at you. You scoff. "Unbelievable". But you had to admit, you were a bit in awe of this stranger man, who sacrificed his own health for the sake of his friend and company. You don't get to see such people everyday. And here I thought all idols were arrogant, you think.

You simply nod your head, not asking him any further questions. It won't be right, you decided. But it was your duty as a doctor to see to the fact that this man didn't go untreated. "Come with me", you pick up the files from the ground. "We have a lot of work to do".

"No there's no need for you to bother so much", he had told at first. But you wouldn't listen. A spine injury could lead to something much more fatal. But he absolutely wouldn't listen to you. "You don't have to do this for me. I'm fine really. I won't stop dancing", he kept insisting and protesting.

"Fine then. If you don't know how to take care of yourself or appreciate someone's kindness, be there", you had then turned to leave. "Take care". Honestly, why would you care if someone stopped dancing or not? Why would you force someone to do something they clearly did not wanna do? Uh-huh, that was so not like me, you thought. But something about his way of talking, his eyes and his sacrifices had made you do something which you wouldn't have done if it were someone else. You started walking away, when a hand grabbed your wrist.

"No I'm sorry", he mumbled. You turn back to see him looking down. "I want to get treated," he looks up to give you a grateful smile. "Are you sure? I'm not forcing you. There are a lot many doctors you can get checked from, you know". "No", he says, looking very serious suddenly. "I'm getting myself treated here", and he started walking down the corridor pulling you by your hand. Ugh, these people, you rolled your eyes and smiled as this guy pulled you inside your office.

As the guy sits on the bed, you bend down beside him to get a better look at his back. It took you a while to get the X-ray reports but then you saw that there was definitely a slight injury to his spine. Nothing very serious, but it's best if it were treated properly, you thought. Regular check-ups, medical tests, proper exercises would be enough, you thought as you looked at the reports again. "You'll need a doctor specialising in the neuro department", you laugh.

He looks at you confused. "Dont worry, I have a few friends there, so you won't have any problems there I'm sure", you smile at him."You won't be my doctor then?", he mumbles in disappointed. "No I'm sorry. I think you'll receive better treatment under their care", you smile a bit at him. He looks at you expectantly. "I only agreed to this because I thought you'll be my doctor", he adds. Then realising how his words might have sounded like, started blinking, his cheeks all red. "Stop being so childish", you laugh nervously. Your heart started beating faster at his words. What is this stranger doing to me? You wondered. "But I wanted a hot doctor like you to treat me", he mutters under his breath. "What?" You yelp. He looks up at you smirking. You shut your eyes in embarrassment. Your heart had started beating at ten times it's normal rate by now. Clutching your chest, you try to calm yourself down. Calm down, you idiotic heart, you scolded yourself. Don't get so worked up. What are you getting so excited for anyways? You opened your eyes finally, your cheeks burning. "If only I had known earlier that calling you hot would have such a reaction", he looks at you intensely. "I'll have to call you that often now", he smirks at you. You facepalmed. What did you get yourself into? But its not that you felt uncomfortable with his presence. Strangely enough, you felt kind of happy at his words which made you even furious at yourself for feeling that way. Ugh, whats happening to me, you wondered. "Well, whether you want it or not, I'll be your regular patient from now", he adds shrugging. You sighed in defeat. "Very well then, you're getting what you want. But you'll have to come here once every one or two week, do all the tests I ask you to, take your medicines regularly. You'll have to listen to everything I say---which means, no dance practices for more than an hour", you wiggle a finger at the man sitting in front of you. "Yes, I got it!" He smiles at you, his eyes brightening up at the prospect of getting treated by his very own "hot doctor". "Okay then, so here it is, I'll be your doctor from today", you say, "Sophie", you extend your hand out to him.

An Introduction to Kim Namjoon

And now it is time for the wonderful Kim Namjoon aka RM aka joon bug

This post is for any new Armys out there but it’s also for people who have been around for a while, it’s an appreciation post meets an introduction post

I have quite a few appreciation posts dedicated to Namjoon, too many to link tbh but here is my official Namjoon appreciation post

Also if I miss out on something you love about him or a moment of his that you love, feel free to reply to this post with whatever you wanna add or reblog this and leave it as a comment on there, I’d love to read your guys’ personal favorite moments or qualities about Namjoon, these are just gonna be my personal favorites or things that have stuck out to me

So, an introduction to Namjoon

His full name is Kim Namjoon and his stage name is RM

His birthday is September 12th and he was born in ‘94, making him 23 internationally and I think 25 in S. Korea

I don’t really do astrology but I believe he is a Virgo, if that means anything

He is the fourth oldest member and he is a part of the ‘94 line with Hoseok

He is one of the three official rappers in BTS

I would describe joon’s rapping style as powerful

He’s got this deep ass voice and it just it’s so nice hearing him rap tbh he’s just got a s h i t ton of power in his voice when he wants to

He can also be really soft when he sings and that’s also a really amazing thing to listen to, would absolutely recommend

He and kook have done a couple songs together, they’ve done a cover of Fools by Troye Sivan, they’ve done a song called I Know, joon has also done a song with Tae called 4 O’clock, which is r e a l ly fucking good

He has also done a solo mixtape called RM

He’s released quite a few singles, some of which were from the mixtape and some weren’t

He’s released a song with Wale called Change and the lyrics in it are really fucking amazing (the video can be found on bighit’s channel)

He’s released Do You, Awakening, Joke (these can all be found on the BangtanTV channel)

He’s also been featured in a song by MFBTY called BuckuBucku, which he’s performed live with them (if you havent seen him perform it, plz go watch it bc bts were so excited in the audience and kept looking around for namjoon and got so hyped when he came out) 

But his mixtape is really re a l ly good and underrated in my opinion

Namjoon is the leader of BTS and he’s a damn good one at that

You really see just why he’s the leader in American interviews

He’s amazing at encouraging the other boys to speak up during the interviews but he also knows when to step in and take over

He knows when to joke around in interviews and when to be serious about things like the album/songs and what they mean to him and the group

There’s this c la s s i c moment where it’s like a hidden camera situation and I think it’s BangPD who asks him if he’d prefer going solo or staying with BTS and without a m o m e n t of hesitation not even a second, he responds with BTS

That moment still gives me chills tbh

Now for some things joon is known for in the fandom

English

Namjoon learned English fluently by watching Friends a bunch of times

He is the only member that is considered to be fluent however the other boys are improving every time we hear them speak English so that may change v e r y soon

Intelligence

Joon has a really high IQ and he’s shown his intelligence in so many different ways

He’s obviously been able to teach himself English, which is already so fucking impressive

He’s so smart when he talks in interviews too?? like i saw this one comment that pointed out that joon’s never afraid to admit he doesn’t know what something means and that he always asks to find out

Like when someone asked him about being a heartthrob and he didn’t know what the word meant, he had z e ro hesitation to ask on the spot and find out new information and I think that’s really cool and important to note bc he’s not afraid to say hey i dont know what that is, mind explaining??

What I love about joon is that he doesn’t try too hard to come off as smart or try to boast about being smart, he embraces the fact that he’s smart and uses it to his advantage but he never rubs it anyone’s face

He’s got a really good balance of showing his intelligence and being proud of it while still being humble about it

Producing

Namjoon is another one of the main producers/composers/writers of BTS, he’s worked a l o t on their albums, there was one album I don’t remember which one but he’d literally had a part in creating almost every single song

He’s written s o many different songs for BTS

Namjoon also has started this thing where every time BTS release an album, he does a VLive and will talk about the album and sometimes, like last time, he’ll released snippets of another version of the song

So, in the last album related VLive he did, he showed what Fake Love was originally gonna sound like and that sort of insight is just honestly amazing

Dancing

Namjoon is one of the members that was not originally a dancer

With every era, his dancing just continues to get better and better and seeing his improvement is honestly so amazing

Clumsiness

Namjoon used to be referred to as the God of Destruction, I don’t see it being used as often as it used to b u t he is known for being pretty clumsy 

He once almost fell over while sitting down

He’s not 100% clumsy though bc he’s actually really good at ice skating!!

A LOVE FOR CRABS

Literally just posted a video of him saying hi to a crab and is forever trying to hold them and just chill with them when he sees them he l o v es crabs and I think that’s really fucking adorable

Fashion

Joon bug has a whole OOTD series called KimDaily, which can be found on the official BTS twitter 

They’re rea ll y really cute and the outfits are always just s o him like he really expresses himself in his fashion choices and I think that’s really fucking cool

Namjoon has never shied away from trying new looks, he’s worn lace and skirts and corsets and looked amazing in all of them btw

♡ everyday tips to improve ur korean ♡

1. communicate! i know this is kinda basic to say but : communication is key! if you can’t find anyone irl, then let me recommend you some good apps : - hellotalk : i used to go to this one in 2015 when i started learning korean. i was very lost but some kind people really helped me through this app. even tho i don’t use it anymore because i find it hard to find serious people nowadays compared to before, you should give it a try! - hinative : THIS APP IS AMAZING YALL. on this app, you can basically ask questions about your target language, and natives reply to you super fast!! this is not a chatting app, it is really about helping each other! TRY IT.

2. kinda like the 1st tip but, try to make study buddies lol. make/join group chats where people all learn korean together. this is really helpful! especially because you’re not learning alone, it’s motivating! this way you can have random, funny, interesting conversations, but still help each other all the time! you can find open group chats easily on kakaotalk :) i actually have this one you can join : https://open.kakao.com/o/gv80Pev

3. write a diary. this may sound childish but, writing a diary in korean is VERY useful. as you’re writing about your days and stuff, you search for vocabulary and memorize it super fast! this is a part of expressing yourself you can’t avoid. try to write random sentences that come to your head. it will help you with grammar, sentence structure, and more.. you won’t remember words you never use, so use words you need to know daily!

4. if you like this way of learning, buy books. i cant really recommend any because the only one i used is a french one which doesnt exist in other languages i think, but if i found it i will mention it somewhere :) you can find tons of korean learning books tho! it really helped me with basics and reading hangul, so thats good!

5. SPEAK KOREAN. even if you’re not surrounded by any korean people. just speak it, if you feel like it’s embarassing, do it when you’re alone lol. this way you can practice your accent, how to make sentences sound more natural when you speak, and it also helps with grammar and vocabulary because you are using verbs/words you’d use in daily life! you can make mistakes, that’s okayyy. (+ try to think in korean lmao. this may sounds weird….but… sometimes i’m here, thinking in korean, and realizing my improvment. this is kinda satisfying sometimes😂)

i would just like to thank all fanfic writers for creating such wonderful stories! i stared reading fics back in 2012. i was having a hard time back then and everything was just so hard. that’s when i found comfort in them and honestly its the best thing that’s ever happened to me mentally. if i wanted to be happy, i would read some fluff.if i  i was sad and wanted to feel even sadder, i would just read angst. it was just so comforting to read the stories.

this...was so beautiful i remember when this came out ! i was so happy and surprised?! also my boy...! the first vocal line member with the intro 😭😭 this song is truly great and the video is so pretty all of it really makes you feel... emotions 

2. eclipse - loona (kim lip)

i’ll never get over this song ! i didnt listen to it till july i think? and everyone always had that one picture of kim lip with the circle of light thing around her head everywhere and would talk about this song and i was like huh ... but when i did listen to it i UNDERSTOOD.  right when shes like..i feel sparks.... wow.. easily one, of if not my favorite song from 2017  the sound is a sound i LOVE and like this is a song for the gays the frequencies are for our ears lmao. the video? beauiful. kim lip dancing solo in that place? revolutionary. her outfit she’s wearing when she’s dancing with her backup dancers the black one piece one ??? fashion icon. her voice was so ..pleasing to me. everything about this was truly 👌🏼 exquisite. 

3. im serious - day6

i didn’t really get into day6 this year 😓 and i know they relased every month and i did listen to more of their songs but something about this one i really loved more than the rest. i don’t have much to say about this other than i really loved this song a lot its a really fun easy going ..kind of song i guess ? the music video was nice too theyre like on the beach ☺️ fun summer times 

4. palette - iu ft g dragon 

this song !!! i heard good things about this when it came out and then iu did gd’s rap in the live stage and i was like wow ....queen. this song ..again ! is so beautiful and it makes me cry ?? fkc 😭 idk it makes me feel better but also sad and gdragons verse is cute to me too when hes like i just turned 30 idk lmao its a very pleasing song really really nice the music video is cute (again lmao) the lyrics are really nice 

5. red flavor - red velvet 

did they perform this first at smtown concert ?i can’t remember but thats where i first saw this and UM ! immediate fav red velvet song (okay well idk if its my fav fav but it’s my fav title track at least) idk its just so ??? fun ??? and people say it sounds like a back to school commercial lmao but 😤 its so happy and like a perfect summer song like i was really happy about this song its so :~) fresh 

6. baby don’t like it - nct 127 

please...the best song. this has everything i wanted....mark..taeyong... haechan doyoung and taeil ! i cannot remember listening to this at all i just remember my life ..i leveled up ! its honestly one of ...if not my fav 😆 nct song listen its not bad at all idk if anyone says it is but im just letting u know... i thought i loved mad city but baby dont like it obliterated that ty & mark duet (?) like its dead and GONE this song and the lyrics are an experience lmao thanks taeyong also um doyoungs angelic lil solo part ? i can hear god 

7. my first and last - nct dream

please!! i was excited for this bc like...wonder queens i love you um i listened to it a little late though i think? and at first i was like..uh...hm BUT i love this song so much sunmi u are my queen also every outfit she wore ? iconic

ahhhhh :”( this is my favorite song of hers it was so ..AGAIN beautiful but really its so calming and soothing...lmao and some ppl were asking for a pop song when this came out i think? but like >:( appreciate this lovely song please ! also just we need chungha to be successful 💫💞😘 also i just wanna mention the why dont you know performance with taeyong....yea

okay kings ! lmao i didn’t expect this from them :o as a title ... i havent stanned seventeen for a long while already and their last couple comebacks/ title tracks i didnt care for ? so i was like not gonna listen to this or smth sdjkhas and i think my friend played it for me or i listened for her smth idk but this !!! also this is so sad 😭 just what i like & seungkwan @ 1:49 (and 2:32) ... the EMOTION ! i was really surprised with this tbh and its such a good song

idk how anyone can hear this song and say its bad no offense... it’s so good and the dance is good...queens i listened to this a lot more in the first half of the year then kind of forgot about it rip... but i loved it so much like its so funnnlisten its not their worst title track !!!! its one of their best !!! ..me about all (minus 2..) their title tracks but like...trying to let u know !

i liked this a lot more than i wish... so i was very... :~) happy. this song is relly good idk what to say...thank u space queenies for branching out and inventing happiness on top of astrology and space. their lil pompoms...they also invented those ...ngl ive read the lyrics multiple times and i think they confuse me. but lmao this is such a good song its really fun also did eveyone see them perform cant get you out of my head....legends

A SONG. this is one of the most beautiful songs...and that live stage...UM !!!! every time i hear this song or they perform it....wow...... im crying as i type really hm i think at first i kinda was enjoying not today more ? but then the live stage really changed THAT...we dont deserve her also hobi singing in the live versions !!! we’re blessed ...when tae says ..youre my best friend...i felt that

So long story short I was a really big fan of bts for awhile but I got bored of them when boy with luv came out, didn’t listen to it that much but it grew on me. Tonight my mom called me into her room bc bts was on James Corden and it made me realize that idk I’ve kinda felt empty without them. The point of this: I don’t really like one of the members. I don’t wanna say because I know the backlash for this member would be awful. I don’t know what to do bc I always hear Stan one of none. Plz help

holy shit i never thought that i can get an ask like this and i dont even know if im the right person or can explain properly dhdjdjdd but im gonna just say my thoughts ok? maybe they will help u maybe they wont we r all different and need different approaches right

to me personally the idea of ‘stan ot7’ is a whole realization that everything matters and without 7 members/fans/some dumb shit/whatever happened good or bad there wouldnt be bts we know and that member u may not like is also as huge part of this path as other members without this one member at some point there could not be bts at all its a short version of my thoughts

i dont wanna sound too loud or weird rn but every time people say ‘i read the lyrics and that song spoke to me oh it helped oh this song helped me to accept and love myself oh this song made me cry cuz this is the way i felt too this cured my depression this gave me strength etc’ if everything didnt happen the way it did (aka 7 members complicated path a lot of shit but also good things) there wouldnt be these comments from ppl all over the world there wouldnt be songs wouldnt be uh lets call them saved fans cuz as i saw many people discovered them when they felt really bad and their songs and lyrics and messages helped them

so about not liking one member

1 when i first discovered bts and watched my first mv (ok even before that and when i only saw one clip of bts randomly without knowing them) i had a bias already and he made me dig a little deeper and when i decided to have a blog on tumblr at first i was following only blogs about this member and no one else and thought meh i only liked him why should i follow someone else related blogs rn 🤷‍♂️ and i didnt know how the whole kpop wolrd worked at that time lol

2 after some time i got used to them but felt a little strange about couple members i just couldnt get them i was puzzled and careful

3 after some more time i watched a lot of content i read some things and oK i got a whole ass knowledge (idk how many months passed) about every member and i remember having a ‘oh my god i love him so much hes such an amazing human being and makes my heart melt’ thingy with every memberrr at some point but it happened gradually

but in ur case u were a big fan as u say before idk for how long idk how old r u idk what kind of person r u so this may be a little harder

so what do i think about not liking one member

we all r very different and our surroundings r very different and our minds too and our preferences etc etc etc and if u think about it as not a kpop situation it would be normal right dhsjdj but we r here talking about kpop and it has some rules so,,, i will continue i personally tried to get to know those members a little more and better to understand them to know what do they feel and how do they treat others or how others treat these members and what r their roles etc and even if i didnt like some idk lets say ‘habits’ after some time i just accepted these ‘habits’ like a part of their personality u know? but yeah at this point i think of them as a family hdjdjdjd after stuff they have been through and how they all supported each other,,, idk its so precious to me its huge and important maybe im a lil oversensitive or empathic but i get it a little and appreciate that they became the way they r today ( while im writing all of this somehow THE EDINGING OF WE R BULLETPROOF ETERNAL KEEPS PLAYING IN MY HEAD AND IM ALMOST A SOBBING MESS) idk how it works but with bts u r breaking ur own principles and it makes sth inside of u expand and be more open minded and mentally flexible

so as u see its a normal thing and even they got used to each other after some time 🤷‍♂️ (i mean not from the beginning and they needed that t i m e to learn and grow up and accept etc) and ITS REALLY PRECIOUS THAT THEY R AT THIS POINT RN THAT THEY LOVE EACH OTHER SO MUCH it makes me think a lot about me and my friends and rethink some shit or the way i behave 😔

but wait was ur question ‘how do i accept the fact that everyone says love ot7 and i love ot6’ or ‘how do i love that seventh member’

ok about first question even tho i dont like solos etc even tho im ot7 i can say that people love to generalize anyway or love to attack or make assumptions so if u r not thinking anything bad about that member or not discrediting him and u r really realizing his huge role in their group and u just not a big fan of his ‘personality’ i think its not awful cuz we may not like some certain things in people and it happens esp irl with ppl 🤔 but if u r that type of ot6 like ‘ugh when will ______ quIT I H8TE HIM HES ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS’ its not good cuz well h8ing is the most self destructing thing lol and well wishing that someone should quit is also bad (and im saying this not from fans point of view) and should i even explain why

if its about second question hm u know after the beginning of this path of stanning bts and this fandom i faced many of my inner demons all of a sudden and after realizing whats the reason whats the source of those demons and after some work with them i felt a lot better and freer and relieved,, what if after accepting this seventh member and starting liking him too u will feel better too? what if its about having an inner conflict i really mean it think about ‘what do i not like about him/ why do i not like this or that/ is this that bad/ what if i liked ___ about him even tho i never liked this ever in my life/can i change the way i feel about it/ etc’ maybe u have this question in ur head rn cuz it meant to happen and u meant to work with ur inner state through this ?

i truly believe in few things 1 everything happens for the better (even tho realization can hit after many years) 2 everything happens in the best timing (for this thing! in ur life and u r ready for it) 3 if u dont like something and cant get rid of it just change ur reaction/perseption whatever that word is saying this from my own experience and there r more but dhhdhd

so at first just think about it if u need u can write it down somewhere it will help u to get to know urself better as well

ok maybe its not that deep but for quite some time whenever something bothers me i write it down to the notes starting from what happened what do i feel what exactly made me feel like this and why and what can i do to feel better

fr everyone can think of everything like ‘its not that deep’ but at the end of the day literally everything even little thing can help us with our mental state (after some work ofc) we better not underesetimate this world and things that happen to us 😔😔😔
