Yall I love these books. They're so much fun and full of joy. The Bromance Series is right up themmre with Talia Hibbert's Brown Sister books as my favorite romance series. Isn't It Bromantic focuses on a perennial fan favorite #TheRussian aka Vlad. Mostly relegated to comic relief in the first 3 books now we get a glimpse into Vlad his sweetness and tender heart bruised from a "marriage of convenience" with his childhood best friend can he convince Elena to take a chance on the real thing. This book was amazing. I read it in basically a day. I couldn't put it down. The bathroom scene and the bros talking about Vlad's "magnificent ass" will honestly be one of my favorite scenes for a long time. Also can I please get more Malcolm? I loved the concept here and would recommend people to read this book. The title is slightly misleading in that it implies bromances – ie romances between men – but it is not that at all. It about a group of men who get together when their romances get into difficulties and read romance novels to give them hints as to how their women would like them to behave – and what they could say!

An interesting idea and hey do consider one book in particular, but it might have been nice to find out a little more about the other books they had read ad why and who, choose them.

The issue is that these are men who are archetypal alphas, with women usually falling over themselves to be with them, and thus have never had to actually woo a woman. So when their partner decides that is not who she is, or never was, they find themselves unable to respond in a suitable manner and need to learn different behaviour and speech patterns.

It has some fun situations but does bring up the basic problem, particularly in the US I believe, of the hero worship of sports stars, which means that these men fail to fully grow up and take responsibility as they have never needed to. They are cushioned by the clubs that they play for and the people hired to ensure that they have everything that they need and that any trouble is just magicked away. So they are spoilt.

#BookReview The Bromance Series is quickly becoming some of my favorite romance novels. In this 3rd book its been a little over a year since the events of Undercover Bromance and Alexis, one of the survivors of the sexual harassment and assault by a celebrity chef, and Noah, former hacktivist turned cybersecurity expert have become fast and close friends. Both are want to take their relationship further but are afraid to risk their friendship. Add into the mix Lexa's new found sister asking Lexa to donate a kidney to the father she never knew. And both Lexa and Noah's personal issues with grief and loss and you've got a challenge for the Bromance Book Club. Once again, like Dani Brown this book had me sending quotes to friends and suggesting it to others before I even finished the book. The men of the Bromance Book Club aren't afraid to call Noah on his shit or sing a little Moana if the situation calls for it. This book gives you hope that maybe not all me are trash and some are willing to do the emotional work to overcome their past.
