But when he got older he totally forgot how, and if he tries skating, he'd look like a cool. And I think that's a good thing, cause jenny would love to see him fall and try again.

A new roller rink is opened in the east side of town and it becomes a pretty popular hangout spot for the greasers. Before there was only the one uptown, but no one really went there that often because it was a soc hangout (and tbh most of the gang's probably been kicked out). So the gang was OVER THE MOON when they saw it being built :)

So Johnny and Ponyboy skated for the very first time on the opening day and they were so confused (Johnny almost fell facedown on the carpet putting them ON). Darry offered to get them those walker things, but Pony rejected them because they were "too babyish 😡" (fifteen minutes and countless bruises later he begrudgingly changed his mind lol). But they kept going and with the help of the older guys they got a lot better!

I think Ponyboy's fav part of roller skating is just. zoning out while he skates to the music <3 (and for Johnny it's the same. They can go for literally hours and just. NOT notice)

Also. Since Ponyboy's a hater he WILL push Johnny down. But he always regrets it tenfold because Johnny does NOT hold back (and it always ends in one of their famous fights 😭)

Two-bit and Dally are the best at it. Like scarily good (Two even has his own pair of roller blades with a shitty silhouette of Mickey Mouse painted on the side).

Two-bit actually scares the workers bc he can go so fast. he once entered a roller derby and came in first place (he ended up winning free food passes for like a year so. he couldn't have been happier)

Dally actually got kicked out of the other roller rink for pushing little kids over 💀

Soda LOVES the roller rink because a lot of cute girls hang out there. Him and Steve get super competitive, esp when it comes to trying to impress the girls by doing tricks

Steve tries really hard to impress Soda (bro just wants validation 😭) but unfortunately. Mr. Randle is graceless ☹️ but he does end up making Soda laugh so a win IS a win 🤷‍♂️ also Steve's favorite part abt the skating rink is the soft pretzels and cheese.

Darry's pretty good at skating too. He's the only member of the gang who's gone ice skating (his parents had him in an ice skating program for a while as a kid, and he has some friends who invite him to the rink sometimes) but he can do some pretty cool jumps and stuff. If he had more time he'd probably like being in roller derbies

- Simon is definitely the one to use pet names for Poe, though he mostly uses "Babe" for them, but tends to get creative w/ coming up w/ pet names. Poe? Ehhhhhhhhhh- It's on very rare occasion, honestly, but once in a while they like to call Simon a pet name and Simon sometimes gets a lil too excited when that happens. However, they do secretly think it's cute whenever Simon calls them a pet name that's kinda unique for them.

- Though I did mention last hc post about how they realized their feelings for one another, I didn't mention how they both fell for the other. (Probably gonna do Simon in this post cuz I don't wanna hog all of the hc post w/ how a dragon fell for a raven (or crow) and vice versa.)

When they soon became actual friends, Simon was honestly bored at some point in the graveyard w/ Poe at night time (which is usually when they hang out cuz that's when Poe is actually out of the shadows), cuz there ain't no conversation or anything happening, so he turns to Poe, about to tell them how bored he is, and suddenly sees the most beautiful and lovely image he's seen in his life, an image that's worth every penny- No. An image that's absolutely priceless and exquisite. There they are; Poe, looking in his direction, the moonlight dazzling over them with the stars shining behind them and creating an absolutely magnificent image, looking at Simon with a blank expression slowly turning into confusion and noticing how long Simon's been staring at them for. Simon's eyes were widened at sight of Poe in the moonlight, he felt his face getting a slightly darker shade of red than his natural skin, his heart starting to speed up, he felt like butterflies were just starting to invade his stomach, etc.

Poe, noticing this, calls out to Simon, asking him if anyone's there, and snapping their wing in front of his eyes to snap Simon out of whatever trance he's in. It works, then Simon blinks twice and looks away from Poe in embarrassment, leaving Poe in absolute confusion (and not exactly in the 'you okay?' confusion, more likely the 'bro, tf is wrong w/ you??' confusion cuz they weren't in love w/ Simon yet)

- If StarStudent is the roller SKATING type of date, then GoldenThunder is definitely the type for roller BLADING:

Simon, who's ever rollerbladed a few times or so after getting hurt numerous times from falling, would be feeling confident to guide Poe around the rink w/ his ✨cool af rollerblading skills✨, but when Poe says, "Nah, I got this", they immediately get into the rink to do a couple of laps around as Simon watches in shock of how actually skilled Poe is at rollerblading. But soon, the shocked stare soon turns into a bit of a sappy, loving stare as he watches his partner show off their skills. However, Simon snaps out of this trance when Poe stops near a wall in the rink and motions Simon to come over, and that's how their rollerblading date starts :3

- When they're alone together, Poe seemingly feels slightly more compelled to softly smile with Simon. (Although it's a small smile, Simon will take what he can get)

- Can't tell if they'd be the type of relationship to keep it a secret from others perfectly or try to keep it a secret when literally everyone knew smth was going on between the two, despite their personalities being totally the opposite.

- Simon LOVES it when Poe is being a badass. Such as if the two of them are holding hands and then someone were to insult their relationship, both of them won't care. But if the insult is towards Simon, that person just dug their own grave. Poe would stop dead in their tracks, tell Simon to wait where he's standing, and march straight towards the person and roast them to Hell and back. Meanwhile, Simon just watched from afar with a proud (+ loving) smile on his face as he watches his partner be a badass to those that dares to insult their boyfriend.

- Poe likes how understanding Simon could actually be. At first they thought that Simon hardly gives a damn abt anyone at all, but they were actually able to see his heart and more to it. When they got together and Poe started stumbling on their own internal problems, Simon was there to help them through it and was completely understanding when Poe felt like they couldn't handle the problems. Although Simon is understanding, they mutually keep it a secret to keep the Mr. Popular status in public alive cuz Poe rather understands the peer pressure coming from Simon.

clyde was pretty bored and it has been long since you two went on a date together, so after searching up "places to go with your partner" he decided to go with ice skating, you love ice skating right?? you had no fucking idea how to skate but since he wanted to go you just agreed 🤷 . you both picked your roller skates and clyde entered the rink first "cmon y/n!" he skated the entire rink and you still haven't entered "whats wrong?" he said stopping and looking through the glass "clyde.. I can't skate" he had to held in a laugh fr, he said he'll help and you agreed,

he held your hand as your left foot was on the ice before you could lift your other leg you fell and did splits, he wish he could laugh ong. you got the use of it, he would skate here and there and ur just struggling to move and inch, he grabbed your arm and skated around "CLYDE CLYDE SLOW DOWN" he didn't stop and you kinda just skated, thats one way to get yo girl to skate.

he'd do an outside edge stop "clyde stop im going to slash your face with the roller skate" "yup okay noted." , you two eventually were skating, it just took 7 falls and 3 holding onto random peoples arm. you can obviously tell that clyde wanted to laugh "... you can laugh" "LMAOOAOA THE WAY YOU FELL HELP"

he'd tease you for awhile until you had to force him to stop. it was still sweet nonetheless, the way he holds your hands throughout the whole thing.

kenny is the rizzler fr, he'd ask you to go ice skating with so he can rizz you up. like for example youd skate around and he'll skate pass you while winking, he was imagining all the things he'd do, little did he know you had no idea how to skate.

he just immediately went in to skate and skated around searching for you just to realise your on the seats watching him through the glass "wyd, come in" "ken, i cant skate" he just stared shock, all his plans were ruined. he thought to just have fun and teach you, he held you hand as you entered the rink, when you were in he let go and you immediately fell but he caught you, he held your waist and you two were holding intense eye contact, rizzly bear who???

he holds your arm while skating and say things like "I'm gonna catch you if you fall dw" "don't you trust me? its okay" but then proceed to laugh when you fall. he's still sweet though, he genuinely teaches you and praises you when you actually skate on your own.

you fell on top of a random guy and was just staring into each other, kenny pulled you up and asked if you were okay and just pulled you aside, that was suppose to be his moment and he'd try to recreate it just to have some random girl fall ontop of him, he pushed her off and went to you though. it was a funny but fun date ngl, you loved it sm.

i like to think that kyle is a master of ice skating, he'd do a axel a salchow a lutz and a loop and everyone clapping at him. you just clapping from the glass hes like bro i did all of that for u to just sit down?? "kyle, i can't fucking skate" he laughs softly at that and teaches you.

but no he doesn't teach you how to skate like a normal person he is a whole coach "okay im gonna teach you how to do a spiral and then a layback spin" "kyle i cant even get on the rink without falling backwards and blow my head up" hes just like 🧍 oh. he still teaches you though, hes holding your arm while you get on rink with shaky ass legs and has such patience with you.

he'd teach you how to balance and how to stop without having to fracture your spine. he would try to impress you by doing moves ong. all in all ice skating with kyle is the best

craig

his ice skating skills are average, he can move around maybe jump a little but thats it, you on the other hand can't even walk in the skates. he smiles at how you can't even walk on to the rink. "here lemme help you" one hand on your arm and the other on your waist. hes so gentle with you and when you two actually skate he'd stare at you the whole time

he has to hold in a very big laugh when you fall on your ass for the 19373938 time. you almost fell and some guy hold your hand so you were stable "you okay?" he said and you smiled saying yes, craig immediately gets inbetween you two "you okay babe?" you just smiled and nodded, you'd go skate on your own and craig just flips off the guy

he's the type of guy that every girl fall inloves with at the ice skating rink but his eyes are fully on you, you two were smiling the whole time acting as if you two married blushing at each other and catching each other. everyone was lonely ong 😞

- Nina invites Kate to raves and parties, but she refuses to go due to her migraines, sensitivity to light, and cuz shes a feral killer proxy misanthrope…

- Nina sometimes ends up drinking or smoking too much and comes home sick and a mess. Kate just softly scolds her, gives her stupid drunk gf a kiss, and takes her to bed

- She wakes up changed into pajamas, not a clue what happened, Kates already gone doing god knows what. But man its so much nicer for her knowing shes being taken care of

- Kate started off being very against the idea of make up, dressing up, nails done, etc. Until one night after Nina had spent hours begging Kate to let her do her makeup. Nina leaned in so close, so close. Kate didn’t get why her heart was beating so fast, or why she kept eyeing the girls lips. She thought she was getting sick again or something

- After that, she was more open to the idea. Especially since its an excuse to have Nina touch her. And she hasn’t been touched as if she was anything but a monster in so long

- Nina is soft, happy, a loving lover. She absolutely showers Kate with affection and is horribly devoted. She has a journal she doodles and writes in. 90% of that journal is about Kate

some general Chad/Ryan headcanons!!

their favorite things abt each other - i think Chad really loves Ryan's smile, like a genuine smile, not a forced one, just an actual happy smile. and Ryan mostly smiles like that because of Chad which makes him even more ecstatic!! and also Ryan's irony and sense of humor in general

as for Ryan, he definitely loves the sorta "hidden" side of Chad (him being really romantic and clingy or sensitive emotionally in general, but also really smart and witty); that usually surfaces when they're alone and they can feel comfortable, and definitely Chad's eyes (they're very expressive i imagine!!)

in class, they probably pass a ton of notes to one another, or when they sit together they just write to each other on a piece of paper and giggle about it (mostly something they find funny - like something in the workbook or something the teacher said) and sometimes they're so hysteric they try so hard not to laugh that they cry

Let me explain, kitsunes are foxes ( the obvious ) and in that restaurant ( the kitsune's are considered, in folklore, mischievous and play tricks on the humans ) the masked kitsunes ( that white with red mask of a fox you know? ) tends to go to someone ( the kitsune wears roller skates ) and steal the food the person is eating with their mouth, in the restaurant rules, while the masked kitsune is putting something in your drink ( here you can see that I don't know anything about Japanese culture, it's like a kettle with a huge funnel that comes out water, I think, the kitsunes even make cool movements when they will serve the kettle with water, in the customer's cup ) you can try to take off her mask to get a discount ( need to take off the mask completely ) but the kitsunes can move away and stop serving the kettle lol. There are also, the same kitsunes using objects to open people's drinks, I saw them using a type of card, probably sharp, objects on the table and even the roller skates they are using.

So, going back to Y/n, they work in that restaurant, I named it, Fox's Home ( simple yeah ) having worked years there, because is so fun, becoming a professional in doing their work.

So one normal day, the boys, Sun, Moon and Eclipse goes to that restaurant because of the good reviews and funny comments, they end up meeting Y/n in the most natural way in the restaurant, stealing the boys' food with their mouth, till they have stole the three boys food in different hours.

The whole situation fascinates and terrifies him.

So when Nezha is offered to hold baby MK and/or baby Mei for the first time? He starts full-on ghibli crying and shaking. He's so afraid of accidentally hurting them that he doesn't know what to do. It takes a lot of encouragement, and talking with Sandy before Nezha feels confident enough again to handle one of the babies. Afterwards he's like a fish to water.

Nezha does get a little confused sometimes cus he's honestly not sure what is and isn't considered Allowed, whether in general or in the modern day. Are little kids allowed roller skates? Can a child be trusted around fire? How old does a kid have to be to get their own spear?

And his relationship with Chenxiang? It's... complicated.

He knows the both of you are young and he doesn’t want either of you to get hurt.

“But it’s not about me, now is it?” He says to himself (quietly this time) as he stares at you and Taki for a while and sighs. His kids are growin’ up, and he knows that the only way for them to grow and flourish is if they do it on their own. Not with a strong overbearing hand.
