🚍 bus drivers being lil shits 🚌

im an ambulatory wheelchair user, at the bus stop, another chair user wheeled up. we're getting the same bus, only one wheelchair user can be sitting in their chair on the bus at a time (which frankly is fucked up in its own right lol)

so i pre squish my chair so we can both get on (ive talked to the bus people and that is both perfectly legal and the recommended thing to do). and hes complaining about only one wheelchair being allowed. fairly standard. he only concedes After i tell him ibe literally talked to b&h buses XD

so we both get on the bus, everything is fine. except he then says, so nonchalantly, oh yeah can you lift it onto the luggage rack

?!?!?!?!?!?!

me, a 5ft scrawny looking emo kid, no visable disabilities, am being asked to lift my wheelchair, yknow, the thing that allows me to leave the house safely, onto the Luggage Rack?? that thing thats like half my height up, away from the seats, so i cant keep a good eye on it????

i fully just ignored him and carried on as usual. not a fucking chance

and to top it off, he fully refused to give me his name so i could tell the bus company about this (apparently they're NoT aLlOwEd To. suuuuure mate)

no because this is fucking CRAZY for me. and connects exactly to the post i was going to make after i finished cleaning the kitchen which im making rn instead lol. it’s CRAZY how much having things to look forward to like traveling and seeing a musical like.. make me happy. how much listening to my favorite songs matters for my sense of self. how i still know the words no matter how long it’s been since i last heard them. it’s CRAZY. i have been swallowed by depression and stasis for so fucking long and have forgotten so much of myself and experience every day as scraping by and being miserable but even the smallest little joys have the power to bring me back. buying golden oreos at the campus food store. doodling a cat when i want to doodle a cat. taking a walk outside even when there’s work to do. it’s CRAZY!!!!!!!! i heal myself by indulging myself. maybe there is hope for me.

mean thoughts that crossed my mind: I find it funny how they leech off of dream first and then after they've sucked him dry they latch on to the next big thing 💀 never really can make it on their own can they? Always need a bigger name to prop them up and associate themselves with. genuinely excited for ranboo to rebrand bc I'm hyped to see them fade into obscurity 😊

like I get that some people just like to be players in things and *apart* of something and don't feel the need to start their own minecraft projects. like tubbo saying he can't wait for the new smp because he prefers just being on it instead of making it. but unlike... other people tubbo isn't tripping over himself to get away from the generosity he was given at the beginning of his career and I think he's a good example of someone who, yeah, probably won't ever shake the dsmp/ex dsmp audience but is also renowned outside of that bubble in broader twitch! for stuff like the tubbathon being fucking awesome and crazy.
