Being new to Gardenview

Aka "I had fun writing the long slender mansion posts that I wanted to do something similar with other fandoms

DANDY

He's probably the first one to greet you, honestly. He's like... THE toon. The show is named after him, he's the poster boy after all!

Surely he won't be at least a little annoyed that someone already beat him to the punch.... right...? Right??

He's a very busy toon, not only is he a main but he's also again, THE main. Getting to talk to him for more than a minute while there's visitors is nearly impossible... but he'll be sure to drop by your room for a hello once everything calms down for the day! ...maybe...

ASTRO

It's not that he's overstimated- mostly- it's just that he's tired by the time the day is over with... so it'll take him a while to approach you to welcome you... and he may seem out of it if you approach before he's ready

He's nice! A little accidentally... distant.. but he truly is happy to see a new toon added to gardenviews lineup. Who wouldn't be happy to have a new potential friend?

Ignore how he's seemingly nodding off where he stands... ts not that you're boring. He's simply a little sleepy...! You'll have to get used to that..!

VEE

Oh cool, a new toon. She's not going to be all over you but she's not going to ignore you if you come say hi. Small talk before she's swept away by the visitors.. or you're snatched away

If you seem like the smart type she might just invite you onto her show... she's not usually so quick to let someone on but what the hell! Who wouldn't want a new face to spice things up!

She is quick to set some boundaries up of you're pushing buttons or pose any risk to her techy bits

SHELLY

She doesn't let the fact you didn't notice her at first effect her... at least not outwardly. She's more forgiving in this instance anyways, you did just arrive afterall

Gives you a nice welcome- she's just happy to have someone new to talk to... if you ever want to have a nice camera hang out she's your girl to go to..! Just.. don't forget that she's just a call away..!

There's more time to talk to her during the day due to her being not as popular as the other Mains :( or even some of the non mains...

SPROUT

Oh heeeeeeeey you! He's probably already heard about you! If not from another toon than through one of the handlers!

He's not gonna be all over you but he's at least going to make you feel welcome enough- at least a normal amount of welcoming! He doesn't strike me as the type to be overly buddy buddy with a new toon just because they've just come out of.... wherever the toons are made...

He does seem to perk up a little if you express an interest in the ktichen... common ground can go far!

BOXTEN

It takes him a minute to approach you... he's gotta work himself up to it- he's not the boldest toon out there.. and he seems a little proud of himself that he didn't stumble over his words...! He will be overthinking his first impression later that night though...

The fact you're getting swarmed also puts him off a little... it's just so many people- it's overwhelming. Makes him wonder how he pulled through the initial hype when he was new.. silently sympathizes with you- tried to quietly give you reassurance from across the room but the voice in the back of his mind tries to tell him it looks like he's mocking you

He doesn't really talk.. not really a rambler either, especially with an acquaintance... but he does take note of any questions you have and tries to direct you to who could possibly help you once it becomes clear that he might not be the best fit

BRIGHTNEY

Her light burns a little brighter when she catches a glimpse of you... she didn't think she'd be seeing you so soon!

Wastes no time in walecoming you to gardenview, and hardly any time to bring up the boom club to see if you're interested... if you are, great! If not, that's okay!

If you ever need a hand to keep track of what you need to do and how things work around here she's more than happy to draw up a list for you and give you a hand where she can!

CONNIE

Oh she probably knows about you already... she's sneaky like that...! She's just trying to get a feel for your vibe before revealing herself. Totally. Definitely. Mhm!

She can't help herself- it's always so fun spooking new toons who don't know about her ability yet- she doesn't mean to be.. well, mean..! It's just funny!

She's got like... details on everyone! She's your gal to go for some gossip or to figure out what everyone else's deal with... though she may be biased against/for some toons so it's best to do your probing yourself to form your own opinions...

COSMO

He doesn't carry Boxtens shyness so he is more likely to approach you within a shorter time frame if you end up in the same area! He may trip over his words but that's just because he wants to make a good impression..!

If you ever need a little pick me up you can find him in the kitchen! Alongside Sprout and maybe Boxten-- and if it's the holidays ginger too...! It's a real nice place to hang out that's not too overstimulating-!

Similar to Boxten he will attempt to guide you to anyone who could help you with anything- except he's likely to physically bring you to someone or someone to you than simply... telling

FINN

Bold of you to assume he's not going to open up with a joke. "OH it's so nice to sea you," he'd wave but he wasn't sure if you'd he able to see him over the stream of visitors!

If you can bare through his constant puns he's actually not that bad. He's nice. Passionate about his interests- and of course he's going to be asking about yours!

Moderate popularity with the visitors so you can hang around and talk to him when you're not getting swarmed. He does share a good laugh about it with you- you'll get used to the attention... or find your footing once the hype dies

FLUTTER

Oh she's right by your side the second it looks like you need a breather from the swarm of visitors- you can come decompress with her until you need to get back out there..!

She's kind... a good listener. You're not sure how you can understand her when she's yet to speak a single word but you feel she's already been questioned about that a lot.. you don't want to possibly pester her with it

She lingers around you until closing to help you get through the day and the sea of visitors!

GIGI

She's friendly..! Really she is..! It's just that freshly baked toons can sometimes be fun to mess with... and she's taken a page out of Connie's book... she's not going to be a bully but she won't be able to help herself- telling you that you should totally do (x) which definitely won't make you look at least a little silly

You... might want to keep an eye on your belongings. She's usually not mean enough to nab someone else's things... maybe.. but by God the episode where she had to learn that lesson only slightly shook that habit

If you don't meet her through Connie, you'll be introduced to Connie through Gigi... as well as some other toons!

GLISTEN

Hes.. nice enough! Sure he may be... well himself.. but he's not going to ignore you if you approach him for help... though he is just a hint envious of the crowd you've made for yourself- but he's not going to fault you for it. Makes him miss the days where he was brand new and had all the attention

He's at least a little interested in finding out what your deal is... even if he's waiting to properly introduce himself- and he's definitely going to make a little show of it to make sure you don't forget his name!

Not intense.. but he does mellow out over the next few times you bump into each other once the desire to impress the newbie backs off a bit

GOOB

He's like an excited puppy when you meet each other! A new toon! Yay! A new friend, hopefully?

He's very physical- he doesn't mean to make you uncomfortable... if he is making you uneasy just say the word and he'll back off! He's not the best with subtle cues...

Oh oh oh you've gotta come with him to go meet his sister! Oh oh and you've gotta meet- you're going to meet so many toons through him...

LOOEY

Oh! New guy (/gender neutral)! He... actually doesn't lean into the clown act during an introduction. At least he doesn't rely on it- he definitely slips in a few jokes here and there if there's time but he's more focused on getting names exchanged and overall having a quick chat before he needs to go back to performing with the rest of his circus act

He's more than happy to let you come watch those acts! It'll give you a place to unwind after such a busy day! Or... if something calmer is more your style, he'll direct you to other toons

Generally a sweetheart- his cheerful demeanor comes in handy when meeting someone new- child and toon alike!

RAZZLE & DAZZLE

POPPY

Wastes zero time in introducing herself- even if you don't end up being friends in the future she's going to make sure you at least have fun on your first day

She introduces you to other toons as you come across them- she's real... bubbly. Pun only partly intended! She's going to make sure you meet just about everyone- or as many toons as possible!

And of course, she makes it clear that you're always welcome to come hang out with her and her group of gals- she'll make sure to put in a good word for you!

Similar reactions different energies! Razzle is more upbeat and open to talking. He tends to take the lead... not that he doesnt let dazzle speak of course. Dazzle also greets you! He's just lower energy

You're always welcome to their stage... or their room... if you express an interest in stories or books, Dazzle may tell you about Brightneys book club! Maybe he can help you get in... will be embarrassed if you tell him you already knew about the club

You do end up making a lot of friends through each of them- they both have their own groups of friends so double the introductions!

RODGER

A warm and polite welcome! He may ask a few questions... ice breakers mostly... and also because, well... you know...

You may or may not be spared from an interrogation- really it depends on how guarded you are with new people... and what all is going on at the moment- hes not the most popular toon but you're new... you're definitely going to be swarmed until the hype dies down

You... get the feeling it's going to be hard to keep secrets to yourself for long with him around... maybe... surely he'd respect boundaries and privacy (he does!) (At least he fully does when there's no mystery that may or may not put others in danger)

SHRIMPO

SCRAPS

She's not as... excitable or cheerful as her brother. She's definitely still cheery but she's more reserved about it. If you need a break from the visitors she can try to snag some away with the promise of arts and crafts so you're not all smothered

Arts and crafts is actually a gold way to open up to someone- a great ice breaker activity! So of course she's also going to invite you to come make something alongside her brother and toodles! It's a nice wind down activity after closing and before bedtime

Give her some time and she'll make you a welcome gift!

You hardly get a word in before he yells at you that he hates you already... you unfortunately don't know that that's his whole... thing.. so you don't know not to take it to heart or to not be confused

No like seriously what did you do you hardly introduced yourself- he cut you off after the first word... did you look at him wrong??

You quickly find out that he's just a hater, though... he's very open about his hatred for everything

TEAGAN

It doesn't take long at all for her to invite you to have some tea with her once the day calms down and all the visitors have left... it's all to get to know you better and make you feel more comfortable!

If you're comfortable with it, they will invite more toons... it'll give you a chance to get to know more of them! But if not... Teagans more than happy to just have it be the two of you

So so kind and patient with you as you get the hang of how everything works. If you ever need someone to talk to as you adjust to gardenview she's more than happy to let you vent to them

TOODLES

TISHA

It's not that she meant to ignore you... it's just that sometimes the visitors can be a little... messy... and it drives her nuts! But rest assured she will make it right once gardenview closes for the day and everything is cleaned up- and with Tishas speed and efficiency it won't take long after closing for her to stop by your new room!

Pleased that your room is- at least for now as you've yet to have a proper chance to make it a living space- neat and tidy... if you ever need a hand with things let her know... she'll at least let you know where the cleaning supplies are

You quickly pick up on a lot of tricks to get stains out and keep everything looking spick n span... Tisha is more than a little proud of herself that she's rubbed off on you

She's another easy one to get along with! There aren't many toons that Toodles outright dislikes or doesn't get along with

Talks... a lot... but that's to be expected from a kid.

You learn everything and nothing. The kid who's got dirt on everyone but doesn't have the mind to realize that it's dirt. Drops it randomly in conversation and moves on to something else like it was nothing... it's a little funny..

BOBETTE

Wastes no time at all in trying to become your friend- what's your favorite color? Music? When did you join Gardenview? What's your gimmick? She wants to know!

She's definitely gonna give you an extra gift this year for Christmas! Think of it as a "welcome to Gardenview!" Housewarming style gift! She WILL be watching you like a hawk to figure out what you like... as well as lightly interrogating everyone else for ideas

Genuinely so easy to befriend her. Not very judgy, very cheerful.. come decorate with her

GINGER

Oh... shy... she's shy... she doesn't avoid you but the first few conversations with you is... dry. Awkward. She really doesn't mean to make it that way it's just that she wasn't expecting to meet a new toon after being taken out of... where ever they keep the holiday toons

Not to mention you have a limited time to get her to warm up to you before having to put things on hold until next year... she really does try to befriend you or at least get to know you...!

Come join her with Cosmo and Sprout in the kitchen! You don't even have to bake..! You can help her decorate..! She becomes a ramblerer if you get her talking about an interest!

RUDIE

It's a Christmas miracle! A new toon has arrived! And he's definitely going to treat you like a gift... even if you were added to the toon roster before Christmas..

Not that he'd care all that much, a miracle is a miracle! And he's going to make sure you know his beliefs! Overall a joy to talk to even if he's caught up in the holidays

He is a little sad when he has to leave when the holidays end, but he promises he'll come talk to you the second he can again! He'll tell you all about what he did when he was away! Not much happens, but...!

Trapped With Twisteds (Part 2)

There was an ask sent in for a part two but this one was already in the drafts, so here it is!

For a better chance of getting away you should be a distractor, with a higher speed and more stamina, there's a higher chance of getting away when slowed.

It’s not guaranteed though, with him giving you slowness he’s much more likely to get his many hands on you.

Almost always holding onto you, or at least touching you in some way. It gives him a little comfort knowing that you’re right there with him.

Tends to wrap you up in his blanket, as it’s become a bit too small for him to use. So he’ll wrap you up and carry you around.

Whenever toons enter his floor while you’re with him, he won’t wander around like normal, instead he hangs around the room he’s dedicated to you. Only chasing toons to keep them away.

Tends to not sleep around you, he’s learnt quite quickly that it gives you nightmares. So she’ll sit or lay next to you, watching you sleep. During this time when there's no one else around, he finds every pillow, blanket, everything comfy, to bring back for you.

While he tends to use his ichor arms to attack other toons, he makes sure to keep them away from you. Only using his real arms to do anything with you, either reaching for you or pulling you into his grasp.

Due to him being Boxten, he’s not the most graceful, especially as a twisted. So it’s likely he’ll drop some drops of ichor on you and doesn’t realise most of the time.

Ties a spare bandana somewhere on you, whether it’s around your own neck like his, or tied somewhere else. Honestly he doesn’t mind, as long as he can see it.

Still tries to play music whenever you sleep, he’ll sit or stand next to you and start playing. But due to the amount of ichor in his head, it’s very faint. Constantly drowned out by the thick liquid, but if you listen carefully you can hear the faint song.

It is quite easy to avoid being caught by her, and avoiding her in general. But when she does notice you, there's a small chance of escaping her.

It’s also more likely that the floor you’re trapped on is in a blackout, so unless you can well in the dark, you’ll be tripping over everything.

She uses this to her advantage, as she knows the layout, she’ll corner you in a dead end or a small room.

One of the few twisted that would leave you alone to chase a toon, but in her mind it’s to keep you safe. If the toon is away from you then you’re fine, even if she’s not there.

Tries her best not to get ichor on you, it’s a little hard with a hand fully covered in the liquid. But you can tell she’s trying. (Is that heartwarming or are you becoming soft?)

Is constantly following you around, tries not to chase any toons. But if they get to close or hang around for too long then he’s gone. Tries his best to come back as quickly as possible though.

Some part of him is still in there, so when you get injured he’ll try to heal you. Except it doesn’t work, it only ends up with him finding a medkit or bandage for you.

Can’t bake in this state anymore, so he does the next best thing, finding any type of food on the floor. He doesn’t realise when any have gone bad, but also means he’ll just kinda grab anything around.

So the other toons quickly learn when Cosmo is on a floor, if there's little to no items around, then he’ll be there.

Gave you his bracelet when you were first trapped, it’s a small yet effective way to show that you’re his.

At the start he will use his ribbon to keep you with him and often in one spot. But depending on how well you respond, the quicker he stops, although he will give you a piece of the ribbon to keep on you.

If other toons ever enter his floor, you’re the full time babysitter whether they realise it nor not. Glisten tries to keep you in one area, which keeps him away from the toons.

He panics when you leave his sight, similar to ingame when he’s left alone, but it goes down much quicker. Ignores everyone and everything else to find you.

Is constantly leaking ichor, but he tries his hardest to keep it off you. Although it will happen at some point, which makes him slightly panic trying to clean it off.

Is really affectionate though, tries to keep you in his arms or just in arms reach.

To love someone means to embrace them exactly how they are, flaws and all. You’ve had no problem with this, and neither has your loving girlfriend.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN has always been one to put others before herself. Whether that be making sure everyone’s at full health or giving up her tapes to stop Dandy from twisting make Dandy happy, the shell’s taking care of the wellbeing of her friends first —so obviously that doesn’t stop when it comes to you. Hell, her selflessness only grows drastically when she’s by your side.

☆ It’s not the hardest to tell she’s got the hots for you, especially when you’re always the first person getting boosted when on a machine. She tries not to make it so obvious, even when she’s not in your line of sight, but it’s legitimately SECONDS after you touch the damn thing. The purple aura surrounding you and Shelly’s eager little giggle is all you hear before she disappears. [ it’s the cutest thing ever I swear. ]

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN who isn’t one to shy away from making it known that you’re her one and only. From matching dinosaur bracelets that Cosmo and Sprout helped her to make to the affectionate nicknames you both have for each other, it's plain to see that the two of you are more then engaged with each other.

⤷ There was a time where Shelly hadn’t been careful enough, and had the bracelet break in front of her eyes the moment the elevator door closed, leaving the beads and charms scattered across the hardwood tiles of floor twenty four. She was devastated, and Tisha had to help her calm down, tell her that there’s no possible way you’d break up with her just because the friendship bracelet had shattered.

And of course you weren’t mad, you’d never be, especially at an unfortunate accident like that. You instead purposed the idea of making new, much more adorable matching bracelets for the two of you. Something that better reflected your new found relationship with each other.

“You sure y-you’re fine with it?” Shelly muttered out, still recovering from the past run.

“I’d be more than happy to re-create them, and they can be new this time! We’ll spice ‘em up so that they match again.” You reply back, huffing when Shelly comes to hug you tightly. You flash a small smile to Tisha standing not too far away, one that says a small “thank you” for her help earlier. The tissue box can only snicker lightly to herself before carrying on wards to her room.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN who is just a sucker for any form of physical contact with you. Surprise hugs from the back are her go to for when you’re not looking, and cuddling till the two of you fall asleep in each other’s arms? Must be Toon Heaven for this girl.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN who just can’t help but hold onto every piece of love you’ve given her. The shells sentimental to a fault, and she can’t find it in herself to get rid of every little treasure you’ve given her, even before the two of you started dating. It might be an old hoodie you once left at her place and never went back to retrieve, or a pretty tube of mascara left stranded on the vanity in her room. Whatever it may be, she holds onto it like it’s the last piece of you she’ll ever get.

☆ SHELLY FOSSILIAN just can’t help but ramble and ramble and info dumb on your 24/7, 365. To the average toon, this would’ve drove them crazy out of their MIND annoyed, but you stay silent as she chirps away about the newest facts on Theropods and such. It’s cute, and seeing Shelly being so passionate about the one thing she adores with all of her heart [ besides you ] makes you adore her even more.

⤷ On a side note, you’re constantly heading to Gardenviews ginormous library, containing information on a wide variety of topics you hadn’t even know about. There’s no need for Brightney to guide you over to the dinosaur section —that you’ve been able to locate on your own for quite a while now— and it’s always where you find Shelly, cooped up on her favorite teal beanbag, nose deep in Dinosaur facts. It’s not until you find yourself on a similar pink beanbag does she take note of your presence, scooting herself closer to you so you’ll be able to read together. Truly though? You’re just here to be in her presence, and that’s all you need.

☁ Happy holiday update guys <3 The first run I played all I talked about was how Twisted! Rudie's run looks like he's hitting the griddy.

☁ Anyway, what better way to celebrate than more MoonBerryCake?

☁ Now, you all don't really define you're relationship per say, after the ending of part one, which you can find -> Here!

☁ You all sort of fall into some sort of rhythm after the fact though.

☁ I didn't spend a lot of time on Sprout because I wasn't feeling well, so I feel like I owe it to him!

☁ Sprout can especially recognize the dynamics at play. As much as he loathes admitting it, being with you three losers (Affectionately) makes him happiest. He can't possibly pick one.

☁ So while you and Astro and Cosmo all stay up at night, worrying about budding feelings and crushing the hearts of the others and feeling your own eyes well up at the thought of gaining one, but losing the others, Sprout is SOUND asleep. He is drooling on his pillow. He is snoring loud enough Pebble hid under coal for protection (Across the complex).

☁ Because he knows one thing for certain. He's got two hands, one chest and a dream. He knows what he wants from life now. And he's going to get it, mark his words.

☁ He knows he's over and done with it, devoting himself to the three of you completely after that reunion from that failed run.

☁ You had been downed long enough you had finally argued your bed-ban be lifted while he himself had threatened a solo-style jail break into the elevators if they tried keeping him chained once more.

☁ He had to admit, the two of you made an incredibly stubborn team and if he had any interest in debate, he'd probably use you. As it stands, he decides to keep you around anyway because someone's gotta tell Brightney he's not healing her and it ain't gonna be him.

☁ The retrieval run was one he knew you had been dreading for awhile, all three of you actually, as this was by far one of the more dangerous Twisteds. That being said, stepping into the elevator made his entire being just shiver at the atmosphere surrounding them.

☁ He didn't like it. He needed to fix it. Especially his trio. Yeah, his. Fight him for it. He's already called dibs. You can't.

☁ Astro's eyes are locked onto your form as you stretch your legs, holding your ankle to your butt for a few seconds before switching. You're mindlessly listening to Goob. Sprout knows Goob rambles when he's nervous and he's rambling faster than Sprout can keep up. Cosmo himself is burrowed into Astro's shoulder, hiding his face in the fur neckline as if refusing to see what'll come of the run.

☁ Sprout doesn't blame him. His memories from being a twisted are blurry at best, but even he can remember Pebble's twisted form. The snarls that rang out as he achieved top speed. He was fast. Impossibly so. Faster than any one of them.

☁ But you were bound and determined to get them all back. Every. Single. One of them.

☁ The thought makes him bite at his lip as he huffs. He had chosen Teagan's trinket for the sole reason of having that heal ready to go no matter what. The one relief he had was that Cosmo wouldn't be so alone in this anymore. He knew Cosmo had a habit of spreading himself too thin, especially when it came to healing you or Astro, and the thought made his chest bristle.

☁ No more. He'd be there for the worst case scenarios. While he wasn't the fastest toon out there he still was fast. He was fast and could run. He had stamina. He'd be assed before extracting anything worth a damn, but he knew damn well how to distract well enough to buy you or Goob a few minutes.

☁ Nodding to himself, he placed a hand on your shoulder as the elevator stilled, ending the time they all had to prepare. "You got this, bud. We'll be cheering you on the entire way."

☁ You snorted at the nickname, taking a deep breath. "Bud? Like a flower bud I'm guessing? Where did that come from?"

☁ He smirked at the question, watching the large gears begin to slowly turn as the door slowly opened. "Well, when a mommy strawberry and a daddy strawberry love each other berry much-"

☁ He nearly cackled at Cosmo's affronted shout of his name while Astro boo'ed the pun. You gave a soft chuckle before shaking your head, shooting him a look. "Unbe-leaf-able." You scoffed good naturedly before taking off with Goob by your side.

☁ This time Sprout joined Astro's boos. It was only fun when he did it. Ask Fin.

☁ Don't ask him.

☁ Running off, it feels almost familiar the way he and Cosmo stick together, Astro splitting off to use Vee's trinket quickly to ease the pressure on you and Goob. He watched Cosmo's back and by the time that machine was finished, the other's were as well. Astro met back up with them halfway back to elevator, giving both him and Cosmo a once over before nodding them inside and waiting for you.

☁ And Goob, I guess.

☁ It's almost prideful, the way Sprout watches Astro's power light up the ground below him, fluttering around yours and Goob's feet as the three of you quickly make your way into the elevator with it slamming shut behind you.

☁ The thick tension is back and heavier than a bad pun can fix. So Sprout does what he does best really. He waits for his trio to be done browsing the shop (Like the heavens blessed the run, Dandy was there with the serum on a pillow and both a bandage and box of chocolates). Cosmo is just short of tapes needed for a band, only to light up as you pass him some you swiped while distracting.

☁ He's quick to wrap his arms around you, pressing a sweet kiss to your cheek with a quick nuzzle, leaving you just dazed enough you're staggering as he swipes the heal. Astro is behind you with a small chuckle, ensuring you don't fall before handing over his own stack of tapes and taking the box of chocolates as Goob pays for the serum.

☁ Sprout has no idea where all these tapes are coming from and is almost a little pissed. If it was anyone else, he would've been. Except Goob. Though, Goob paid for the one thing everyone agreed upon buying so even then he's hard pressed to stay mad. Still. Everyone's heals are on thin ice until further notice.

☁ Except his three of course.

☁ By the time the three of you are done and Dandy is preparing to disappear, he's already rounding you into a group, checking every single one of you for so much as a scratch.

☁ When nothing comes back, he turns to rubbing at your already dirt stained cheek with his glove, clicking his tongue before licking the pad of it only to return it to scrub at the patch of dirt, despite your protests. Glisten's laughing in the back, along with Cosmo and Goob. Even Astro has a humored grin on his face, but oh-ho. Sprout isn't done.

☁ No, once he's satisfied, he reaches and grabs Cosmo before the swiss roll can run and repeats the process.

☁ Astro's only saving grace is the ding of the elevator. But Sprout vows vengeance. Oh, vow it he does.

☁ The next few floors flow smoothly, even if the tense atmosphere remains an ever present reminder of the responsibility on your and Goob's shoulders. You carry it with every move you make, especially cautious of the Twisteds you lead to ensure you're in top condition for the big dog.

☁ By the time footsteps are echoing outside the door, Cosmo and Sprout both have enough med kits and bands to choke a horse, with everyone standing at full health. Astro himself had a bottle of pop for emergencies and a handful of smoke bombs so he could get in and out after giving you and Goob a boost and minimizing the risk. You and Goob both have quite a few things of chocolate and bottles of pop, speed candy in your palms as you both down it with more waiting.

☁ When the elevator opens, you gave them all a sad wave before taking off much faster than you normally do, quickly finding and distracting Pebble as Goob takes the other three in the opposite direction. Everyone knows the plan. They had gone over it several times in preparation for this moment.

☁ You were to be left alone to focus on distracting. Absolutely no exceptions save for the healers or Astro when the time arose. They would get in, get out and between you and Goob, one of you would pull Pebble's attention away long enough one of you could stick him.

☁ Sprout didn't like it personally, grabbing Astro and pulling him into his chest as he hid behind a box while you and Pebble passed, a rotten, no good feeling settling into the pit of his stomach.

☁ He waited until he couldn't hear either of you anymore before letting go of Astro, who gave him a thankful nod. Sprout returned it, giving a soft smile before both were looking over at the sound of a gasp.

☁ Cosmo was knelt on the ground, fingers stained black. Immediately assuming the worst, Sprout nearly screeched as he grabbed for the med-kit as Astro was grabbing Cosmo, searching for the source of the injury.

☁ "No, no, it's not me!" Cosmo shook his head, pushing away both Astro and the med-kit. "They've been hit." He continued, looking down the way you came from.

☁ Sprout and Astro's eyes followed the same direction, the former swallowing tightly. Nodding, Sprout took a step in that direction, fingers already heating up as his own power sang in his veins, only for the lights to flicker red as the last machine finished.

☁ "Get them at elevator." Astro's voice cut through, grabbing him through his blanket and tugging him in the needed direction. "We'll be there if something goes wrong."

☁ Looking back, that should've been a warning.

☁ The last few seconds of panic were always hectic. He knew this. But on a retrieval run? It was so much worse.

☁ They had all mad it back to the elevator, save for you and Goob. Goob was right on schedule, loosing the other twisteds somewhere they wouldn't bother you or anyone near elevator and skid to stop right beside where Astro and the healers were waiting, looking at the doorway they instructed you to come through. It came a clear shot for all of them to hit you should the need be, either by a heal or a shot of adrenaline.

☁ The feeling in Sprout's gut jumped and he understood why. As you appeared a feeling of uniform dread and panic split over the group. You're side was oozing ichor as you hit the doorway, absolute terror written across your features as you ducked a set of jaws that just barely missed you, sinking into the wood and crunching.

☁ That could've been you. The thought made Sprout shout as you took off towards them. You reached for your hip, tearing off the serum and throwing it at Goob, who caught it. You were out of pops and out of chocolate and the realization hit them within seconds.

☁ Goob's arms shot out just as Pebble lunged. None of them could've moved fast enough. They could only watch as Pebble's jaws bit into you side, making you scream out in both alarm and pain as tears sprung to your eyes. A chorus of shots came in a cacophony of noise.

☁ Sprout shot forward just as Pebble let out an ear piercing howl. His own arms scooped you against him as you sobbed, ichor staining his chest and scarf as he ran back to where Cosmo and Astro were waiting, equally as panicked as he felt.

☁ Goob grabbed Pebble, turning tail and just making it into the frantic elevator as it slammed shut.

☁ It was a blur from there. Cosmo's hands rushed for the med kits as Astro pumped your body with enough adrenaline and stamina to keep going. Sprout's own hands were a flurry as he used the mass of tapes he hoarded to trade their worth for life force. While normally he just infused it into the treats he kept on hand, this time he threaded it directly into the wound, even as you grew impressively colder.

☁ They needed to get back to med-bay and fast.

☁ Glisten got you all back, shouting for the others to clear the way as both you and Pebble were rushed into med-bay. It was a long night from there, all three watching and waiting for you to give some indication of being okay.

☁ Sprout never let the other two leave his sight for long after that and knew then and there this was it for him. He never wanted to feel this way again, but that contrasted so heavily with the simple fact that you weren't actually his. None of them were.

☁ But he wouldn't let that remain. That's right. Sprout gets you all together. Sucks to b you guys, he's never letting any of you live it down.

☁ After that night, he works damn near tirelessly to get the dense trio you all make to work with him rather than against each other.

☁ But it's hard. Uber hard. You're all just so...dumb. He says. With affection. None of you seemed to think yourselves capable of love! Like. What kind of dumbassery?

☁ Cosmo keeps thinking his advances are just friendly, Astro refuses to believe anything nice about him is true and you keep thinking it's another smart quip of his and he doesn't mean it.

☁ He'd kiss you all stupid for such thoughts but he fears that's not possible and he hasn't even gotten to kiss you yet.

☁ So, after a few weeks he does what he always does when stressed.

☁ He bakes.

☁ He just like me fr.

☁ He's angrily mixing a dough for those cookies the two of you ate some time ago, groaning all about everything that's wrong with his life currently as if the poor dough is at fault. "Hopeless in love they say. Oh, they're hopeless all right. And who paid the consequences? ME! I was making stupid puns for them. Puns. Me. OF ALL THINGS-"

☁ My brother in crust is going through it. He goes on and on about all he wants to do it cuddle and kiss and date the three of you. but do any of you make his life easy? No. Why would you. That would be too nice for dear old Sprout Seedly. Things can never just be black and white.

☁ "And another thing-" Sprout's shouting as he dumps the dough onto the floured counter, turning to the sink to drop the bowl into the waiting soapy water only for it to clatter on the ground as he's immediately clamping his jaw shut.

☁ "...You're supposed to be in bed." Is all he manages.

☁ You blink at him, all sleepy doe eyes and messy bed head before chuckling, holding a lazing Pebble in your arms. The rock had taken quite the liking to you and Sprout was man enough to admit that he was in fact jealous. "So are you."

☁ "I'm bakin'." He shoots back, turning back to the dough immediately and forgetting about the bowl as his cheeks light aflame.

☁ "At 3 AM?" You tease, stepping closer. He doesn't turn to look, but hears the sound of the bowl being dropped into the sink and Pebble being set down onto the ground. The pup whines, runs in a circle before trots away to lay in either his dog bed or burrow back into your bed. You're body presses against his back as your arms wrap around his waist, your bony chin laying on his back.

☁ "Yes at 3 AM. Someone ate all the cookies and didn't fill the jar." He spits, but there's not venom as he rolls out the dough. You're unbearably silent and he doesn't like it. How much did you hear previously? "You're supposed to beresting."

☁ You hum, but don't move. He almost asks what you're thinking if only so he doesn't have to overthink about it when you speak up again. "You sounded so...sure."

☁ Sprout furrows his brows. "Of?"

☁ "Us. The four of us." You mumble with a heavy breath. "Like-...Like that's all there is too it."

☁ "That is all there is too it. If we all wanna date each other, I don't see the problem." Sprout grunts, grabbing one of the cookie cutters he had set aside. It sinks into the dough under his weight just the way it should and he quickly picks up a rhythm.

☁ You're silent once more, but you don't move. He's done with nearly all the dough, rolling out the last bit for the final round of cookie cutting, when you finally move, lips tracing his spine. "Do you want that?"

☁ Sprout stops, blinks and looks down.

☁ "I think i wanted it since we've met and only now the rest of me finally caught up."

☁ That's where the other two find you later. You're in an apron with Sprout behind you, hands moving with yours as you ice a cookie. There are a few off to the side, obvious examples from where Sprout must've shown you how to decorate...Astro's face once more onto the cookie.

☁ Astro uses a star shard to pick one up, bringing it closer to him and Cosmo only to guffaw at the state of it. Cosmo snorts only to clap a hand over his mouth when you two look over. To their surprise, you and Sprout only grin. The icing is dropped as you run over, or as much as you can before all three are yelling at you to "Take it easy for Dandy's sake!"

☁ You grumble but do as told.

☁ "We made cookies." You explain, Sprout nodding behind you as if corroborate the story.

☁ "With my face?" Astro deadpans, making Cosmo snicker.

☁ "Some have Cosmo's." You explain, only to wince. "I did those ones though, so they aren't Sprout level."

☁ "I'm sure they're perfect." Cosmo cuts in, making you smile. It's one that says everything they need to know. They're probably awful, but that's what'll make them so good.

☁ "They're an offering." Sprout pipes in, setting an extra piping bag down. "Date us and we-...I'll bake you cookies." You nod eagerly at this proposition even if both Cosmo and Astro are wondering if they were the ones in fact mauled by Pebble and hit their heads on the way down.

☁ "...Date...us?" Astro cautions, almost too nervous to do so as he glances at the cookie the star shard is still holding.

☁ "Me and bud over there. You two and us two." Sprout nods resolutely even if nerves make him feel like he's going to vomit. "Like all four of us."

☁ There's silence before Cosmo is snorting into his hand. Then he's laughing. Then he's cackling. He had moved just a bit, holding one of the cookies you decorated. It's a mess of smudged icing, piled on high enough it'll overpower any taste the cookie has. It makes him laugh so hard he crouches over, even if your affronted complaints die into your own giggles.

☁ By the time Cosmo can breath again, he wipes an eye with his hand. "Everyone's so creative." He sighs, turning to look at you with a grin. "I would love to. Even if you're cookie decorating needs some work."

☁ Before he knows it, all eyes are on Astro as he blinks. A part of him is screaming all sorts of question after question ramming around his brain about schematics and the others opinions and he's gonna need a much bigger bed because he can't do cuddle shifts. If he's cuddling one of you, he's cuddling all of you.

☁ Looking at the cookie with his own face, he knows his answer before he even really has to think about it, grinning as he laughs, nodding his head.

☁ After that the rest of the cookies are decorated and stored, dishes left to dry before Cosmo and Astro are dragging both you and Sprout back to bed, practically pinning you in place as you two get the rest you missed out on earlier.

☁ For once, in a long time, no one is haunted by nightmares and the twisteds seem too far away to care at the moment.

☁ Even Pebble joins the cuddle pile with a wagging tail, pleased to see his packmates happy.

Astro x Reader - Slumber Party

You and Astro were exact opposites in every way, with Astro being the calm yet timid introvert he was- and you the energetic flower. Always happy to have fun and help other toons, as Astro observed from afar about you.

You and Astro were exact opposites in every way, that it came as a surprise to him and every toon that you’d caught feelings for him- and made it very clear by confessing to him.

You and Astro had already been close friends before such feelings blossomed, however Astro always noticed when it was just the two of you alone- you suddenly were all calm and quiet. You were still your kind self, however such a shift made Astro wonder- even after your confession to him.

And your confession to him gave him more questions than answers.

It was just the two of you looking at the starry sky, when you whispered your love to Astro with the same happy grin.

You expected Astro to be asleep already by the time you whispered your love to him, but suddenly his eyes sprung open and a blue blush was cast over his cheeks.

It’d been a few weeks then when you two started dating, and now you were planning a slumber party for all the toons!

“Brightney, I’m really grateful you were so eager to help organize everything for the slumber party!” You energetically say as Brightney crossed off some checkmarks on her list, not knowing Astro was watching from afar as usual.

“Of course [Your Name]! I’m always happy to help you and Astro!” Brightney giggled.

“Everything’s ready for this awesome slumber party! See you tonight!”

As Brightney waved goodbye, you would notice Astro putting some lavender on the vases. You’d go over and help him out.

“Lavendars?” You ask with a warm smile, your voice now a mere whisper.

“Mhm..” Astro nods, smiling back at seeing your face. “They help with sleep and anxiety..”

“I remember the smell.. Did you put some of it on your blanket?” You ask, making Astro a bit shocked you’d notice such a small detail on such a quiet Toon like himself.

“Mhm.. I have..!” Astro nods, a blue blush dusting his cheeks.

Soon enough, the sun had set and it was time for the slumber party! Toons started flooding in, and you did most of the greeting as Astro watched.

“I HATE SLUMBER PARTIES!!” Shrimpo shouted as he stomped in.

“But you came by anyways! Hehehe!” You giggled as Shrimpo grimaced.

“You know [Your Name], this slumber party is so gorgeous! Really sparkling decorations!” Glisten praised until he froze up at the sight of a familiar fish bowl.

“Glisten’s right, [Your Name]! This really is Fin-Tastic!” Finn laughed as Glisten scowled, and you couldn’t help but laugh along as well.

Astro watched on with a smile on his face at all the toons you talked to during the slumber party. Although he didn’t participate in the activities himself, he felt a fuzzy feeling watching you and everyone else have fun.

But if you’re so happy all energetic and outgoing, why weren’t you that way around him? Was he making you unhappy all this time?

He always had these questions in him, but at this particular night they started to claw at him so tightly like the second pair of arms around his body.

When it was finally time for all the toons to go to sleep in their own sleeping bags or spots on the couch, you and Astro stayed awake.

Astro couldn’t believe the look of love in your eyes as you at him.

You only gave a reassuring smile and opened up your arms.

Sleeping in your arms felt like the softest cloud in the world for Astro, and his worries all flew away to the wind. Your love for him was the most comforting blanket, and that night every toon had a good dream.

Tisha angst! My first angst! Hope it's good for u!

You and Tisha have become an inseparable duo since you two met, always being seen together doing some activity or helping Shelly clean one of her newest fossils that week.

And at some point, you don't remember exactly when, but you two became a couple, not that things had changed much from how they already were, but now between the conversations and laughter there were also kisses and sugary words of love that you exchanged when it was just the two of you. At least that's what you could still remember from those simpler and happier times.

But now? You had to put all your strength into trying to survive on these damned floors infested by what were once your friends, now dirty with ichor and deformed with a monstrous appearance... grunting, crying or even growing, coming towards you with those red eyes with black pupils of theirs that seemed to devour your soul for not looking like one of them.

"(Y/n)? Are you listening to me?" Tisha called out your name in a whisper, now sitting next to you on the cold floor of the elevator that seemed to slowly descend, waving her blue hand in front of your bleary eyes, bringing your attention back to the reality of the situation once more.

Your eyes scanned around the elevator, slowly catching sight of your still-living teammates: Teagan, Razzle and Dazzle, Brightney and Flutter.

Everyone else was scattered around the elevator in a jarring silence. An exhausted Flutter was trying not to fall asleep as her head was laying on the shoulder of an equally exhausted Teagan, Brightney was just standing leaning against one of the walls of the elevator as she seemed to try to ignore her surroundings, and finally Razzle and Dazzle who were sitting in a corner of the elevator with their faces planted on their knees probably trying not to go crazy.

"N-Not really, Tisha... I'm sorry. I'm just having a moment of nostalgia, I guess... when did things get so bad?" You whispered back to her slowly, looking in her direction to capture her beautiful eyes looking at you with a soft look along with a smile that she always seemed to give you to assure you that everything would be okay.

Tisha stood in front of you, getting even closer to you and carefully wrapping her arms around your neck, burying her face in your chest in a comforting hug. Without much delay, you returned the gesture, wrapping your arms around her waist and pulling her into a tight hug, resting your head above hers.

"I know things aren't very good... in fact they're terrible, to tell you the truth. But at least I still have you, Shelly and the others... I don't know what I would do without you." Tisha whispered once more to you, and you felt like she was probably trying not only to calm you down, but also to calm herself.

"I don't know what I would do without you either, Tisha..." You whispered back to her, closing your eyes, trying to enjoy at least a little of the small moment before you guys inevitably had to venture through those damn floors once again.

"I love you, (Y/n)..." Tisha whispered once more to you, lifting her head to look you in the eyes with an almost relieved look, which you felt yourself smile softly at.

"I love you too-" You started to speak, but before you could finish you were interrupted by the loud sound of the elevator arriving at its destination, which made everyone seem tense before they straightened up and started to exit the elevator to face another of the many floors awaiting them.

You could all hear some kind of growl in the distance, probably one of the twisted, but you couldn't tell which one...

Before you and Tisha separated to go in different directions, she held your hand tightly, giving you a quick kiss on the cheek before quickly running in the other direction to support the others.

You looked in the direction she had run with a sad look before shaking your head, regaining focus once more.

You needed to be strong.

You don't know how much time has passed since you guys arrived at this damn floor, but you certainly knew that you weren't well, having earlier had an encounter with a Twisted Poppy who certainly wasn't friendly to you at all, leaving you with an arm that was now bleeding and certainly didn't look good, but you didn't want to think too much about it at that moment.

*Ding!* The sound of the now finished machine echoed softly through the room, which you hurriedly and doing the best you could try to get out of there, after all you didn't need another unexpected encounter with one of those things.

You walked slowly, no longer having the strength to run, having used all your strength to escape from the machine area a few seconds ago.

Continuing to walk, you reached a corner of a corridor, and you could hear the sound of what sounded like an animalistic growl... coming from the other direction, and before you could react, you saw something tall, with a distorted body but with a familiar face...

"S-Shelly?" You stammered a whisper without realizing it, being noticed by the creature that was once one of your best friends and that had now started to chase you, to your horror.

You turned around quickly, starting to run desperately trying to make the monster lose sight of you, but it seemed that all your efforts were in vain, because you felt that your body hurt like crazy and was getting slower and slower, feeling tears starting to form in the corners of your eyes.

Until you saw something blue moving in the distance... it was... it was Tisha!

"Tisha! Run from here! Run!" You exclaimed loudly, not caring if other twisteds heard, gaining her attention, who quickly looked in your direction, realizing what was chasing you and giving you a look of pure terror.

But what she did next only made your heart clench even more, she started running towards you! To which you gave her a look of pleading terror, telling her to run, to escape while she still had time and leave you behind, but she didn't seem to understand your silent message.

She finally got close enough to you when Shelly's monstrous figure was just a few meters away from you, using her ability and pushing you forward, basically telling you to keep running, which you just obeyed, trying not to trip, looking over your shoulder seeing your girlfriend's figure getting closer and closer to the figure that was once your best friend.

With each passing second, Tisha's figure seemed to get slower and slower, getting closer and closer to Shelly, who was now almost reaching her to your horror...

"Keep going (Y/n)! Don't worry about me!" Tisha exclaimed, trying to give you a comforting smile that in that situation had no effect as she tried to keep running.

"I LOVE YOU!" Tisha screamed before seeming to stumble, falling to the ground and coughing up ichor holding her side due to a previous wound.

And before you could say anything back or think something... anything... a loud sound echoed through the place...

Shelly had bitten and ripped Tisha's head off, staining the previously clean floor now with a puddle of ichor. The action seemed to get the monster's attention, which now seemed to devour the body of what was left of your now dead girlfriend.

You hid behind some boxes, sitting on the floor covering your mouth as salty, hot tears ran down your face, trying not to let your sobs be heard as you tried to cry in silence, feeling your chest tight and breathing quickened.

"N-No... Tisha... she... no... she couldn't..." You stuttered in a broken whisper, burying your face in your knees as you continued to cry, listening to the sound of the elevator countdown start to play.

You sniffled still crying, getting up with difficulty and feeling your legs hurt like crazy, once again starting to run, but now in the direction of the elevator that was now open and waiting for you.

She really feels for you... and she's going to do some reading up to find some ways to help you. One of the first things she proposes is journaling

It's not perfect but at least if you write something down you can come back to it later-- she keeps a log herself as a backup to help keep things consistent

She maintains routines with you, and if you struggle she's not going to make you feel bad for it... gentle visual cues to help you get back into routine

VEE

Very similar to Brightney in regards to taking it a log- but instead of writing it down in a notebook somewhere, she has it written inside her in a document. Just say the word and she'll pull it up for you

Sometimes she can come off as unfeeling but genuinely she has sympathy for you. She's just not the best with expressing that sometimes...

She will NOT tolerate anyone giving you flack for struggling

SPROUT

Always always checking in on you when he can to make sure you're doing alright. He knows he'd (hopefully) never relate, but he can see how forgetting things or getting confused leaves you with... bad days... he walks you through it all and offers words of comfort- or if you'd prefer, a distraction... just know he's going to bring it up later when you're in a better space

He approaches his fellow toons for ideas on how to help you- reassuring words can only do so much and he feels awful just standing there

He's always nearby, he doesn't like being away for long- and some visitors or even other toons can be... less than understanding..

Dandy’s World x Toon!Reader (Vague, Platonic)

You found it easy to love the other toons.

From the moment you were created, they were there. They were all you knew.

In the walls of GardenView, you leaned on each other for support. Even Shrimp, when he was being a bully.

The toon handlers did there best, but the company was corrupt, and there was little they could do to protect the toons. From customers, or other employees.

You were there for the bad nights. When Boxten couldn’t sleep due to nightmares that Astro couldn’t find a way to fix, when Glisten would break from the pressure of being perfect, when Teagan or Rodger needed someone to lean on, just for a moment. You were there. You loved them regardless of the hard times.

But it wasn’t all doom and gloom, you saw them at there best as well! You watched as Razzle would preform and Dazzle would open up just a little more. You would smile as Goob, Scraps, and Toodles play silly games, and would let yourself be dragged into there little world. You would help out Sprout and Cosmo in the kitchen occasionally, and giggle at them as you helped clean up. You would attend Brightney’s book club, and watch as she enthusiastically talked about what she loved. You would sometimes participate on Vee’s gameshow, though you almost always lost, but you would always lose with a smile. You would listen as Shelly talk about Dinosaurs, sharping what she loved to a willing audience. You were there, rarely ever the focus, but there for them. You loved them, and loved when they were happy.

You were there for the quiet moments, moments that were not exactly memorable but just were. When you and Tisha would clean for hours, when you would quietly help Gigi move her collection around, fishing with Finn, patching up Shrimp, relaxing with Astro, quietly sitting with Dandy as Pebble ran around. You were there, they weren’t big moments, but you were there regardless. You loved them, and you loved the quiet moments too.

You were created for a purpose ultimately, but you had decided early on that your purpose was to love these toons. Your friends, your family, you loved them. You found it so easy to love them, even in the hard moments.

Maybe that’s why you did this. Even knowing it would hurt those you love. After all, love makes one do stupid things.

So as the toons from the elevator screamed your name, you could only smile, knowing they were safe.

And as the twisted’s claw came down, you hoped that your death would fade just as easily.

and trust me she does try to explain when you bring up her reaction, but the words fail her. i like to think connie is particular about what names you call her, so this might be a product of that

FLUTTER

absolute sweetheart, her antennae twitch and her wings flutter (hah) a little faster for a second before she calms down- you think shes pretty...! why wouldnt she be happy about that?

does her very best to communicate that she thinks youre pretty too... nuzzles and nudges, chittering (bug noises bug noises!!), things like that! her not speaking will not stop her!

her eyes kind of widen for a second before his face relaxes again. heh. she'd rather call herself pretty or hot but pretty works too... oh lighten up shes only teasing! she... actually does like it

Raceway (P!MBC x Reader)

An: This is based on the Racer! Dandy's world AU on Tiktok by miss.vianne!

This doesn't follow theirs exactly, but I've previously written some racer! hc for a different fandom and really enjoyed them! So I thought let's bring it all full circle.

Warnings: This AU will have more mature themes, so if that's not your cup of tea, that's okay!

☁ Ladies, gentlemen and all those parties in between, start your engines.

☁ So, the lineup. The mains are all racers. Good racers. They're in the main circuit. They play by the rules. They are well known with merch and sponsorships. People cheer when they hear all about Astro Novalite, the sneaky drifter, or Sprout Seedly, the pitstop pusher, or Shelly Fossilian, the clutch expert, or Vee Version I, the light challenger.

☁ The four of them are good friends off the track, don't get them wrong, but on the track, they are at each other's throats. They are competitive and ruthless, pushing the limits of their teams and the announcers with every by the book race.

☁ They all have their own pit crews too! It's a mix of the other toons, split into each group, acting as buffers between the racers and a devastating loss. Sprout in particular pisses Cosmo, the crew chief for the Seedly team, off and thinks it's hilarious. Cosmo does not. He bitches about it every single time the other toons get together.

☁ Like the racers, the pit crews are all good friends too! Especially the Crew chiefs. Brightney is the head of Vee's crew, with Gigi the head of Shelly's. And while Cosmo gets along with them well, his true partner in crime is the head of Novalite's team. You.

☁ Astro had always been a top competitor, since you've taken the reigns however he's become a true threat. The amount of times he's taken a win right out from under Vee or Sprout is frankly hilarious, especially since Cosmo knows it's because of your intervention. Astro has always been a huge drifter in racing, but his previous mechanic couldn't keep up with the pressure on his steering and throttle. You could though. Every race, you'd get in nose deep to the beyond hot engine and tinker with it while the others worked on the rest of the vehicle.

☁ After every race, you did overtime to refresh the suspension, under the vehicle until Cosmo came and dragged you by the ankle. He'd admit he was sweet on you just a bit, but he couldn't help it. Beyond the professional race track, you were his partner in crime elsewhere too.

☁ When the sun went down and the excitement from the streamline races settled, a whole new environment opened itself to the streets of the city, hidden in the shadows away from peering eyes. Roars of unregulated engines and too-loud exhausts weren't uncommon, along with the drunken cheers and boos of the night life alighting with the stars.

☁ This was where the rest of the toons shine. Unregulated street racing was a thrill like no other, and one that you and Cosmo ran like an iron fist. You were a dangerous duo, and one of you was always racing, even if your standings were in a duo. It was a risky move, putting your name alongside Cosmo's knowing that if one of you took a loss, it would reflect on the other poorly, but neither of you truly thought of it that way. You both simply enjoyed racing with each other.

☁ Taking a break from being the person giving the care to being the one in the vehicle was like a shot of ecstasy, especially when you knew the other was waiting at the finish line. The lack of rules, the refusal of etiquette, the thrill of tickling your own mortality was a whole new rush, so unlike the one in monitored tracks.

☁ It was probably an addiction at point. Not that it would stop you. You mused to yourself, shifting gears as Gigi's vehicle came into view in your rearview. She was an infamous cheater, playing dirty with sly tricks and illegal moves up her sleeve. Well...Illegal in the clean tracks.

☁ "Don't get cocky now, doll." Cosmo's voice rings in your ears, waiting for you at the finish line. " If you die who else will warm my bed?"

☁ You scoff at this, jerking your gear shift and slamming the brakes, whipping your wheel to one side just as Gigi attempts a pit maneuver. Her vehicle skids upon not meeting her target and instead crashes into Shrimpo's, taking both of your closest tails out in one one move. You easily commit to the turn, continuing to move your gearshift before punching the gas, crossing the finish line as the reigning champion.

☁ You cut the engine to your ride, taking your keys as you step out to where Cosmo is already waiting. His arms are crossed as he scans your form up and down, a predatory smirk spreading on his features. You return the look, walking up to him with a small preen in your features. "Cocky enough for you?"

☁ He snickers at this, wrapping an arm around your lower back as the other cars skid to a stop, several cries about your win echoing out. "You're awful. You know that? What would Mr. Novalite say if he say?" that dodgy drift?" He teases, his other hand coming up to shake your chin lightly.

☁ "Oh, no, whatever shall I do." You spit back sarcastically. "Please, those racers have the rule books shoved so far up their ass they don't notice much else." You waved your hand before swatting at Cosmo's. "They'd probably faint at the sight of the Milky Way."

☁ The Milky Way was the name of the endless routes, trails and roads that made up what was essentially the city turned raceway. It had numerous shortcuts, every changing obstacles and required your instincts and reaction times to be sharp and pointed.

☁ It was your favorite track you've ever raced.

☁ Cosmo cackled at you before shaking his head, swooping in to press a heated kiss to your lips in his own congratulations as the rest of the crews who weren't racing trotted up. Praises were sung your way as Cosmo pulled away, even if his arm stayed anchored to your waist.

☁ And that was simply the start of the night. You all raced and partied to your heart's content, breaking up the night hours before the break of dawn as Cosmo drove you to his place. You weren't sure exactly what you would call the relationship you had with the cake roll, but you knew you liked it, and you were sure he liked it too.

☁ While it was mostly sharp quips and heated kisses on the raceway, it was also the softer, quieter moments in the sunrise's light, basked in golden rays as you watched him move around his kitchen effortlessly, perched on the counter with your morning drink of choice.

☁ It was serene and soft, and a good break from the constant rise of stress you put yourself under.

☁ You had fallen into a rhythm actually with Cosmo, where he'd do breakfast and you'd drive you both to work. He was testing the waters of moving in together with you, which made your heart flutter in all sorts of ways, but would stay put until he outright asked.

☁ "I'm just saying, imagine how much easier our routine would be." Cosmo shrugged behind you, pushing the door open so you could walk through.

☁ "I'm just saying, that's not asking." You throw back, readjusting your Novalite jacket. "You suck at asking questions."

☁ Astro is already waiting by his car when you and Cosmo walk up, leaning on his car before noticing you. He perks up right away, smiling at your approaching form- even if it wavers when he spots Cosmo. "Seedly crew Chief, you look a little lost." The celestial teases, even if it's tight like a stretched rubber band.

☁ Cosmo grimaces as the hand he's kept on your hip tightens it's hold momentarily. "Astro. Always a pleasure to see you." You give them both a look at the tense atmosphere, scrunching your nose as you roll your eyes.

☁ "I'll see you later today, Cos-"

☁ "Milky way CHAMPION!" Is cried out behind you, making you jolt as yourself, Cosmo and Astro whip around to face Finn and Boxten, who are beaming at you. "Gigi came in pissed today! How'd the race go?!"

☁ Finn, bless his heart, is either blissfully ignorant or being the biggest asshole as he doesn't acknowledge your desperate attempts to cut the attention. "We missed out last night, but heard you out maneuvered her and sent her into Shrimpo!"

☁ You bury your face in your hands, groaning as Astro takes in the new information. He hadn't known you were a racer. He would've loved to go against you. By the sounds of it, you were good. He knew you knew what you were talking about, has seen it in person and thanks the stars he was able to get you on his team before the others even heard about you.

☁ But to hear you raced last night? The only race yesterday was his where he and Sprout had spent the majority of the time trying to take out the other's tires before Shelly snuck in and took the win. And he'd never even heard of the Milky Way outside of space. Was it a track?

☁ "Finn." Cosmo cuts in, making a swift motion across his neck and making the fishbowl clamp his mouth shut, eyes finally spotting Astro. He looked like he swallowed a lemon at the sight. "Hey! Mr. Novalite- funny....Funny jokes we say here!"

☁ Astro had to hide a snicker behind his hand at the pure fury written on your features. It was a good laugh in all honesty, watching Finn try to repair the damage he'd done before Boxten was pulling him off to return to Shelly's team to get her own vehicle prepped.

☁ "Champion, huh?" Astro had to tease, watching you drag your hands down your face. Cosmo was still there, his sharp eyes locked onto Astro as if daring him to say something more.

☁ "It's nothing." You cut off any more talk of the topic, moving to your toolbox and pulling open one of the draws. "You said your brakes were acting up?"

☁ With a glance to Cosmo, Astro stubbornly keeps his mouth shut until the cake roll scoffs. "Seriously? I'm not gonna go run and tattle on you. If your brakes are fucked, get 'em fixed."

☁ Nothing. Cosmo grunts at this, throwing his hands up with a "Why do I bother-" before he turns on his heel and makes his way to the Seedly garage. You watch him with a small upturn in your lips, committing the image to memory, before turning back to your tool box. "So, brakes?"

☁ "They shook. I didn't like it. What were they talking about?" Astro watches you pull out your little board with wheels, laying back on it as the car is raised enough you can get under it.

☁ You look at him for a long, heavy moment before moving under the vehicle. "The Milky way is a...less then regulated track. Some of the guys and I go out and race it."

☁ "...And you win." It's not a question, it's a statement that sits in your mind and burns the edges that touch it. "I won last night."

☁There's the shake of a hand grabbing the end of your board and pulling, nearly blinding you with the light if not for Astro's fat head. He stares at you, eyes deep and set as you raise a brow at him. He was a nice enough guy and you enjoyed spending time with him. At times, his laugh was enough to make butterflies light up your stomach.

☁ "I want to see." He says plainly. making you raise a brow. "You want to see a bunch of amateurs play go-kart?" It was a far cry from that, but you'd be damned before telling him that.

☁ "I want to watch you have fun." He remedies, making your mouth run dry. You stare at him long and hard, much in the same manner he's staring at you before groaning.

☁ "If you call the cops, I'm hitting you with my car. Cosmo and I are scheduled for Thursday night. Be there or don't, I don't care. I'll text you the address." You acquiesce at last, returning to your job. Astro waits until you're cursing at something you find before punching the air, absolutely ecstatic at the invitation. When the text comes in with the time and a little "See you there <3~" he nearly faints.

☁ Sprout ends up catching him when he tries to leave training early to get ready and pries the plan out of him, immediately deciding he needs to come too.

☁ To be fair, Sprout had been watching Astro carefully since Cosmo came into the garage cursing about "The stupid fucking Moon" and he had known something was happening. What better way to get to the bottom of it then prying it out of Cosmo?

☁ Is what he would've done if he hated himself. One look at the furious face the cake roll wore and not even Sprout was brave enough to poke that bear. Astro was his next best bet. And as he's standing in the light of the city, in crowds of people who didn't look his way twice, he relished in the feeling.

☁ "So, we here to stalk your cute little Crew chief?" Sprout teased, nudging Astro who's cheeks lit up a bright blue. He mumbled some form of refusal, but Sprout knew. He saw how Astro looked at you, watching you, how you worked and how you lived. He lost count of how many times they were almost late to training because Astro saw they restocked your favorite drink in the vending machine and just had to get you one while you worked on the car. Or he was spotted hanging around you while you were under the car.

☁ Astro just needed to be around you, whenever he possibly could, which was quite amusing in regards to Cosmo's own attachment to you. Honestly, for all Sprout fawned over them, he was starting to feel left out. You and him had met a handful of times and honestly, he's surprised Astro could keep up with your sharp tongue and quick remarks. Sprout himself found himself scrambling to keep up before you were turning on your heel with a flip of your jacket.

☁ You were a spitefire little thing full of venom and vinegar. He always looked forward to conversations with you, and to find out you raced as well? He was willing to fight Cosmo and Astro. Or better yet, fight neither.

☁ He could take all three of you.

☁ "I could take them." He mutters, nodding to himself resolutely even if Astro gives him a look. "Please tell me you're not talking about fighting someone."

☁ "Not in a fight." Sprout adds and Astro has to look away, probably considering calling someone.

☁ They made their way through the crowds though, finding the finish line easily. You were there, past a barrier with your arms cross and smirk on your features as you watched the television broadcast the vehicle in the lead. It was a sleek, dark cherry chrome thing that purred like a kitten and held a steady lead with quite the gap between first and second.

☁ In bolded racing letters, a name popped up under the car. "Cosmo/Y/N Team".

☁ "No way is that Cosmo!" Sprout shouted, leaning on the barrier with his eyes wide. He didn't think his crew chief had it in him. The call caught your attention, making you turn to face them with the smirk deepening as your practically prowled towards them. "Wow, you actually showed up. Didn't think you would." You tease, making Astro's cheeks stain a much further dark blue.

☁ "I-Uhm-" Astro stutters before Spout is slamming a hand on his shoulder and leaning into your face. "Is this what you guys do in your free time?!"

☁ You nod, looking side to side before nodding your head. "Jump the barrier, you can stand with me. My personal guests." You grin, watching as Sprout immediately does as asked. Astro takes a minute further, but eventually does, landing beside you while Sprout gapes at the maneuvers Cosmo is pulling off.

☁"I didn't think you had it in you, shortcake!" Sprout cackles as you explain the race, what's on the line and how you and Cosmo are on a team, hence the name. You shrug at it, continuing to grin. "Just because you need a number of rules to race doesn't mean all of us do, Seedly."

☁ He guffaws for a second, his own cheeks heating up as you laugh. Astro only stares at you, feeling his own chest tighten before the first car is screeching to a halt. It's the same dark cherry one, with the engine cutting and door swinging open. Cosmo steps out, clad in a leather jacket and jeans that fit much too good on his frame to be fair.

☁ You immediately run up to him, grabbing the collar of his shirt to pull him down to a level to press your lips to his. His hands immediately find your hips, but neither Sprout nor Astro can find it in them to pull away.

☁ Watching you and Cosmo, in your element, unbeatable and a unit. Dominating in every way. It made their hearts flutter as they stare at you too, all sharp smirks and quipped words, looking like the main characters in every action movie they've ever seen.

☁ "I could take them." Sprout mutters, hands suddenly much more clammy then he thought they should've been.

☁ "Agreed." Is all Astro says, and that's all that needed to be said.

Gigi has always been fascinated by wacky and amazing treasure

She enjoyed the rush of excitement at what new item she would get next..

However ever since you came along, you’ve become Gigi’s most prized treasure of all!

Gigi always tends to keep her treasures close to her, and you’re no exception as she’s particularly glued onto you

However the treasures she usually keeps guarded and hidden from the rest of the toons, are all proudly shared to you

“Hey hey [Your Name]!” Gigi whispered as she hurried to your side, slightly out of breath.

“Yes Gigi?” You ask, before Gigi pulls out a special Astro figurine.

“Whaddaya think?~ It’s one of a kind! Mwhehehee, and one of the earliest manufactured Astro figurines too!” Gigi boasted with a smug smile as she presented it to you, beaming so brightly she could outshine Brightney.

“I think it’s lovely Gigi!” You giggle, making Gigi’s red face even more bolder in color. All she does is snicker back before hiding the figurine away.

However just as you are Gigi’s most prized treasure, you’re also her most protected. So naturally Gigi would become jealous if your time away from her was taken by another Toon.

You were talking about Vee about helping with some supplies for her next show soon, when Gigi stepped in with her arms behind her back.

“[Your name]! Wanna come see this exclusive dvd movie I just so happen to have? It has bloopers in it too!” Gigi interrupted, holding up the dvd in its case.

“Oh wow Gigi, how did you know about that movie?! Thats my favorite!” You exclaim.

“But I have to help Vee..” You murmur, turning back to Vee with a solemn expression on your face.

“Im sure it’ll be fine, right Vee? You can always ask Shelly to help ya!” Gigi suggested, only earning a scoff in response from the robot.

“See ya then!” Gigi chuckled as she grabbed your hand and whisked you away.

If you were chaotic, you’d become an unstoppable duo! You’d two would be inseparable just as you two are insufferable.

However if you were the more mature and calmer between the two, Gigi would be safe knowing she’d always have a shoulder to lean on. Of course, Gigi would always have your back as well- defending you in anything.

Because to Gigi you are the most priceless treasure of all.
