oh boy. okay. we're really gonna do this huh?
first of all, THANK YOU for proving the VERY EXACT point i was making with this post. i did not tag you in this post. i did not mention your url. i did not name ANY names, in fact. on paper this post has NOTHING to do with you directly, and yet here you are. commenting on this post. and with unwanted rebuttals to boot.
the fact that you automatically assume this post was about you so clearly shows that you understand that you're doing EXACTLY what it says. that YOU are the problem here.
second of all, onto your unwanted rebuttals (which, rebuttals to WHAT exactly? i have no fucking clue. because nowhere in my post did i say she isn't a writer? lmfao. in fact, i actually call her the writer several times so like, learn to read?)
to your point that "SHE IS A WRITER". yeah. okay. she's listed under the writing tab on IMBD, but if you actually CLICK on the tab¹ you get this:
in which she is listed as a staff writer.
according to wikipedia², a staff writer is "the probationary, entry-level position in the writers room."
according to yellowbrick³, a staff writer is "an entry-level career in writing rooms."
according to screencraft⁴, a staff writer is there to "develop and break story" and work "under the direction and authority of the above positions." the only positions lower than them on the totem pole are the writers assistants (who literally take notes and do some light proofreading) and the PA's (who work as gofers by answering phones and getting coffee).
according to brian herskowitz's (an actual writer/producer/director in the business) website⁵, the staff writer, again, is the third up from the bottom with six levels of writer above them.
ALL OF THIS TO SAY - she is not some like high level, super important, final-say-having writer. she's in the room, yeah absolutely, and she's contributing, sure! but don't try to make it out like she has this, like, HUGE amount of power and sway. she doesn't. the stuff she did write had to go through like six other levels of people. NOT TO MENTION, every single one of the sites i sourced emphasized that being a staff writer is a COLLABORATIVE effort. as in, she works in a TEAM of staff writers. as in, it does not fall to her shoulders and her shoulders alone. she is NOT out here making ANY decisions by herself.
again, i NEVER said she wasn't a writer for the show, and certainly not in this post??? so i really don't have one single clue why you're coming for me for that???
next, your screenshot of the author's note in the book.... pal. "you all had some hand in eddie's creation, and i count myself lucky to have been there in the room with you" does NOT imply that she had any direct contribution in the creation of eddie. not to mention the phrasing "you all had some hand", again, implies that she is a step removed. YOU had a hand not WE had a hand. plus i'm gonna be reeeeeal honest here, if i was a writer and i had ANY hand in creating the character of eddie munson, the character that has become SO popular and SO beloved, i sure as SHIT would be making it ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY clear as day that i had an active part in it. i wouldn't be using phrases like "letting me be in the room". that does NOT imply any direct control. that implies that she got to be there and witness it. (now i'm not saying she didn't have any direct impact, because WE DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW THE EXTENT OF WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA OF EDDIE MUNSON. but like. she didn't say that she DID have direct impact, so you can't say THAT with your whole chest either,,, so like. take a step back.)
finally, "so calm down. it's not me the one who is jumping on your throat. you made a mistake. just knowledge it."
i'm not jumping down ANYONE'S throats here. i'm not the one that is going around leaving UNWANTED COMMENTS on people's posts trying to "show them the errors of their ways" and shit. so, in fact, YOU are the one doing the throat jumping here.
you literally jumped down my throat on this post. literally right here. on this very post. the post that had ABSOLUTELY NO mention of you specifically. it was a general statement because i've seen this shit from MULTIPLE people over the past couple weeks. but you took it to mean i was speaking about you and you CAME ONTO MY POST to leave an UNWARRANTED COMMENT in which you SHOVED YOUR "FACTS" DOWN MY THROAT.
i made a mistake? pray tell, what fucking mistake did i make? because from your comments here it seems like you think i said the book author was not a writer for stranger things? but actually, i literally never said she wasn't?? and, hell, i didn't actually even MENTION that on this specific post because this specific post was a plea for people who are doing exactly what you just fucking did to stop because it is VERY MUCH unwanted and unappreciated. i will fully take responsibility for any mistakes i make, and i will acknowledge them, but like. there's no fucking mistake here. there is none. i think YOU actually are the one here that needs to acknowledge your mistake - your mistake being that you ONCE AGAIN HAVE INSERTED YOURSELF AND YOUR OPINION ONTO A POST THAT IS LITERALLY NOT ASKING FOR IT AND IN FACT SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR YOU TO KEEP IT TO YOURSELF.
in conclusion, your commentary is not wanted here or on any of my other posts, so you can ever so kindly fuck off. 😊
really fucking sick and tired of people who really fucking love the eddie book jumping on people who don't like or are even remotely critical of it's posts and like crusading their opinions around from the top of their high horses and shoving it down our throats.
if you like the book, great! that's awesome! love that for you! i am genuinely glad that you were able to find good in it and enjoy it!!
but not everyone did, and not everyone is going to agree with you. so, instead of going on some grand crusade where you find every single post that includes anything even remotely negative or negative adjacent or even neutrally critical and spending ALL this time and effort trying to provide unwanted rebuttals to every single thing, maybe you should just stay in your lane and find people who DO like the book and chat about it with them.
because i can PROMISE YOU, none of us appreciate it when you come onto our posts and start accusing us of "hating on" the author or "being rude" about her and her work and RIDICULOUS shit like that.
being critical of something and pointing out it's flaws is NOT inherently hating on it. i, frankly, do not know where people got that notion, but it's not fucking true so can we fucking quit assuming it is? and, critiquing something is also NOT the same as saying this is shit and it sucks and the author is a piece of garbage. again, where the fuck that came from is beyond me. you can be critical of something and still enjoy it. as soooo many of you love to point out, it's not perfect, why should it be perfect? so D U H. of course that means criticism can and should arise???
also. hot take (by which i mean ice fucking cold because it's NOT a fucking hot take), but going around toting FALSE facts as part of your "defense" does not make you or your argument look good. you, like the author, should maybe do a basic fact check first. 🙃
tldr, if you like the book, that's genuinely great, but stay in your fucking lane and stop seeking out posts from people who didn't like it to start shit in the notes.
#seriously what the FUCK is your problem man#go find people who like the book and chat with them about how much you like the book#quit fucking going around and ACTIVELY SEEKING OUT posts from people who didnt like the book or were neutral about it#and quit fucking trying to refute their OPINIONS#i really truly genuinely do not understand WHY the fuck youre getting SO god damn butthurt over people voicing their opinions over this boo#and i really truly genuinely do not understand WHY the fuck you are defending this author - who DOESNT EVEN SEE THIS SHIT AND PROBABLY#DOESNT EVEN GIVE A SHIT!!! - to the death over the DUMBEST little fucking things!!!#people fuck up!!!! this author fucked up!!!! we're calling her out on it!!!! grow the fuck up and stop getting butthurt over that!!!#anyways.#'nuff said#i#i'm done with your shit man

We know there are essentially three types of conflict: extra-personal conflict (external conflict), inter-personal conflict, and inner conflict. These conflict differ types are differentiated based on the source of the conflict. Conflict might arise from an external source such as an obstacle, an institution, nature or the supernatural. It might arise from another character. And lastly it might arise from within. In his book Process to Product, Brian Herskowitz describes inner conflict: "Inner conflict refers to the times when the enemy comes from within. This is the arena of the psychological drama. Inner conflict can be, alternately, the most difficult to depict and the most rewarding. A good example of a character that is motivated by inner conflict comes from Mike Figgis’ Leaving Las Vegas. Here we see a character who is motivated by the desire to self-destruct. He has come to Las Vegas in order to literally drink himself to death. Good Will Hunting (written by actors Matt Damon and Ben Affleck), is another film that has some good examples of inner conflict. Will struggles with his desire to be anonymous and his need to be close to someone . . . Most inner conflict comes from that dichotomy of NEED VS. DESIRE." We might say that inner conflict arises when a character has two desires that are both opposed (thus causing the character to act as their own opposition). Sometimes a character desires what's comfortable but is ultimately morally flawed--this can result in self-sabotage. Does your character have any desire where the "enemy comes from within"?

Conceptus --- A Harrowing Concept?
Conceptus by Brian Herskowitz is a fast-paced suspense/thriller with a strong psychological undercurrent that will keep readers enthralled. The novel centers on Laura Drummond, a detective with the Columbus Police Department presented with a harrowing murder case. The killing of Cindy Mulgrave leaves gruesome clues that places Laura on the track of a revenge killer. Father O'Hara’s death takes the trail to Dr. Avery Milton, a known geneticist. The priest’s connections to an adoption center begs the question: is the killer hunting down those whose decisions predicted his own tortured existence?
Herskowitz’s novel is a page-turner that will keep the audience guessing at every twist and turn. The element of dysfunction is enzymatic throughout the storyline. Laura comes from a dysfunctional family, leading her into an abnormal relationship with her lover Sharon. The victims are connected by unwanted pregnancies compromised by social agencies governed by diverse agendas. The Catholic Church is the dominant faction, and it becomes a paradigm of a family distracted by selfish motives among its members. Herskowitz’s work is as much of a cautionary tale of vengeance as it is a rebuke of family leaders whose abuses permanently damage innocent victims in their charge.
For suspense/thriller fans as well as revenge tragedy aficionados, Conceptus is a worthy addition to the reader’s library.

Unfortunately, they don’t find the answer until it is far too late.
Cast & Crew:
Michael Welch – Tim Alexandra Turshen – Stacy Aaron Sauter – Billy Patrick Woodall – Stefan Will Rogers – Gary Katie Henney – Lisa Jimmy Mason – Jamie Julia Morrison – Alison
Director: Shane Barbanel Writer: Shane Barbanel, Brian Herskowitz
Movie Rating: 3 out of 5
Mini Review:
This movie was, for the most part, entertaining and your typical movie about twenty-something filming a TV show in a haunted location. Nothing too original or anything but worth the watch. I’m a sucked for movies like this and found-footage genre of films. Never get tired of them. So if you have Amazon Prime give this one a try. I will say though the first time I watched it I did fall asleep near the end and had to go back and re-watch it.

Tio Papi (2013)
Tio Papi (2013)
It was a bachelor’s life for hard-working and fun-loving Ray Ray Dominguez (Joey Dedio) who dreamt of leaving the barrio for a more carefree existence in Miami. That’s until one day when everything changed – and he became a reluctant “Tio Papi” aka Uncle Daddy to his sister’s six children ages 6 to 16. Now, in charge of raising this energetic (and expensive) clan, Ray Ray must make important decisions on what life really is all about. Combining heart-warming drama with light-hearted comedy, TIO PAPI, directed by Fro Rojas from the original screenplay by Joey Dedio and Brian Herskowitz, is an upbeat story of life’s unexpected surprises and ultimately what matters the most – the love of family.
Try seven more:
Twilight (2015)
Ciao ciao (1967)
Zoom and Bored (1957)
The Enchanted Cottage (1945)
Always In My Dreams (1952)
Lego Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite (2013)

The Best Thing.
I knew my dad watched True Blood years and years ago but I had no idea if he’d kept up with it. I started watching it again so when he called me today I randomly asked if he’d seen this season and he was like “Ummm, I worked VOICE OVER for this season.”
Naturally I flipped out (with glee) and my dad was like “Yeah, any time there are men shouting in Japanese, that’s me” and I started watching the show and literally THE FIRST second of this episode:
Yep! That’s my daddy, guys! (apparently)
</proud daughter>
In my mind this means he’s totally worked with Alexander Skarsgard, which is, like, not technically even close to true, but their voices have overlapped, so that basically means I’ve made out with Alexander Skarsgard, right?
