2001 A Space Odyssey — Warrior Cats AU (Warriors Odyssey?)

I have actual ideas about how the first film would go in the AU, not sure what the second film would even be about in this au, and vague concept for the third book in this au.

They're propably on a quest from Starclan because Starclan conveniently sucks. Maybe they're pet cats or clan cats, that's propably not essential. I'm not sure how HAL's mental brekadown should go in this AU, i wouldn't want it to be any more his fault than it was in canon but Starclan can't physically control you...

Dave Bowman — Cosmos (pet) / Nightwatcher (clan)

A solid black tom with blue eyes. If he's a pet he'll have a red collar with a saturn charm on it.

Had a thing with Daisyheart before he cracked.

After killing Daisyheart, Nightwatcher reaches where they were supposed to go (Moonpool equivalent or something?) which he enters and where he's separated from his body in a frightening spiritual experience, becoming a ghost. He doesn't enter Starclan or the Dark Forest and instead just wanders.

He's eventually reunited with Daisyheart's spirit. They talk it through, and watch over Darkpool.

HAL-9000 — Daisy (pet) / Daisyheart (clan)

A black silver classic tabby with one red-orange eye. His left eye is just not there, nor is there even an eyesocket. He was just born without it.

Medicine cat apperentice who has visions of/connection to Starclan even when awake.

Starclan torments him day and night about what he's "supposed" to do and what they want him to do and how everything is "supposed" to go, contributing to his mental detoriation. He doesn't tell Nightwatcher or Darkpool about this, and instead keeps pretending to be cool and perfect until he cracks.

After Darkpool's death, Nightwatcher gets away from where Daisyheart trapped him by doing a dangerous dive, and climbs up to fight him. Nightwatcher wins by inflicting massive head trauma and Daisyheart dies a slow and confused death.

Daisyheart becomes a ghost after dying, somehow not ending up in Starclan or the Dark Forest, and is eventually reunited with Nightwatcher's ghost.

Frank Poole — Frankie (pet) / Darkpool (clan)

A black mackerel tabby with brown eyes and white spotting on his snout, chest, and feet. If he's a pet, he'll have a plain yellow collar.

Looks down on Daisyheart because his parents are both ex-pets (or if he's a pet cat, he'll look down on Daisy because his parents were strays).

Daisyheart kills him by shoving him off a cliff, and when Nightwatcher climbs down to get his body, Daisyheart kicks down the log Nightwatcher used to climb to trap him down.

Gets reincarnated a few months or years after his death, since rebirth is canon in Warrior Cats, so...

Whitehead — ? (pet) / Wavefoam (clan)

Solid white with yellow eyes.

Kaminsky — ? (pet) / ? (clan)

Cinnamon mackerel tabby with brown eyes.

Kimball/Hunter — Hunter (pet) / ?catcher (clan)

Transformers: Prime headcanons??? What???

In all fairness, I'm actually not sure whether or not I'll ever do fanfics of TFP. But I would like to do a bit of fan art at the very least (I've sketched Optimus Prime, like. Once. So.)

Anyways while watching the series through to what I believe is now the end of the Knockout and Breakdown 'bit' (please be gentle on spoilers we're like three quarters of the way through season 2) I actually had some "headcanons" to relay on the matters. Take these with a grain of salt for the love of God, I have no idea what the TFP fandom is like yet so *holds up holy Allspark cross* cease fire, heathens!

I'd say Knockout and Breakdown, at least in TFP's sense, seem pretty loose as a couple. I definitely think there was couple shit happening (iirc that's like canon in some comic too), but TFP specifically seems to convey that they're super casual, bordering a 'friendship with benefits' kind of relationship. KO has his little drag racing hobby, Brekadown has his...whatever the hell he and Bulkhead do, thing. Which I guess constitutes as a hobby. But I think they're super loose for a reason, that being...Knockout seems like a very... *cough cough* open lover. He gets around. I mean c'mon he basically hit on Prime, Starscream, AND Ratchet thus far. I'm willing to wager the boy keeps the line open for a reason and that's to keep things interesting. Maybe he and Breakdown are poly, and looking for a third, but it might also just be that KO is, in fact, a slut. (The latter might better explain his indifference to Breakdown's...*cough cough* permanent "break-down" thisisakidsshowthisisakidsshowthisisakidsshowwhyisitsoDARK)

Okay so apparently most people in the fandom headcanon (or it's canon, fuck if I know) they've got beds - uh, forgive me, 'berths' - that are just like, metal plates?? God that's so boring, they're super highly advanced alien machines! PERSONALLY, I think it would be way cooler if they had something like a levitating laser net-like bed, something strong enough to support a Cybertronian's full weight (I'm actually not sure what that is but it's probably a lot) and is still open enough that any bot can lay in any position without squishing any of those parts that stick out (wings, doors, exhausts, other random bits of metal, etc). Think like the clouds in My Little Pony that only pegasi can sit on; it's a material designed to suspend heavy pieces of metal in the air comfortably and efficiently. One day I hope to actually draw this concept, I think it would be a really fun project.

Okay so the finding an alt mode to turn into process is so weird and unexplained in TFP, so I am drawing attention to it. This was like a major plothole that they never explained but I want to take a crack at it. There's two options I'd see as plausible for a Cybertronian to get their alt form, and honestly they could go hand-in-hand (uhh...servo-in-servo? I need to make a list of what all the terms are lol). The first, or the "baseline" for a bot is finding the KIND of alt mode, which is what you get your main design from. Before this it's just that blank-slate empty primer "who and what am I?" stage, until you've felt that idea for what your alt mode is going to be (and this can probably be defined specifically from what side of the war you're on too, so like you're in base primer and choose to be a Decepticon, you'll get some form of wings in your design, etc). But you don't have an alt yet still, you just have the parts and the colors and everything you need...to FIND it. And the second phase is the finding it. I think for that, it's less like a "let's find a vehicle I like" and more like "let me find the vehicle that is my soulmate". Like they're destined to find that one very specific vehicle that is in their design, like finding their other half. It's all destiny fate-written shit. It's kind of the only thing that could explain how characters have very obvious pieces of their alt mode on them before they've gotten their alt modes (examples being Skyquake and Dreadwing, spider-bitch I can never spell the name of, and Smokescreen). They know it in their sparks, they just have to see it to be able to understand how to find it within themselves.

Not a headcanon but a super funny observation while watching the series: Prime is so selfless and good-hearted, if he was a fanfiction writer he'd make nothing but fluffy light-hearted fix-it fics where everybody is redeemed and no one dies and everybody gets to live happily ever after.

Alternate timeline; Moonjumper is just a horizon demon who merged with the sad corpse of Prince Arulius after his Soul became the Snatcher. Currently lives in the Subcon Woods helping run it but is almost always depressed.

Amaris Nightingale is the offspring of a Horizon Demon and a Royal guard. When her parents died she was raised by a Shapeshifter from the nth dimension she named Craft when they met when she was little.

Without much of a goal she wandered the world exploring, picking up odd objects and wound up in subcon where she fell into a Snatcher trap.

Instead of getting her soul stolen she was contracted to help in the woods per Moonjumper’s request because he recognized her from his childhood.

She ends up as Snatcher’s assistant like normal but now is also helping MJ out as well. And in typical Eclipse is a damn himbo she gets both. MJ is just a little more honest with his feelings than Snatcher. (both admit they probs have their feeling stemming from the same childhood memory of ‘the moon fairy’)

She’s still banned from Vanessa’s manor out of worry what Vanessa would do if she found out she’s the “Prince’s Lover”

“Moony.” She huffed, “Scoot. I need to get there.”

The former prince sighed and got up, shifting as she grabbed the pile of books behind where he had been sitting. Her silver hair bounced in it’s braids as she moved to file the books back onto the shelves.

“You can sit back down. I just needed theEESE?!” she flinched when he wrapped his arms around her. She looked up at the masked man with pursed lips, “What’s wrong? Cold again?” she asked.

“Mmhm.” he hugged her tightly, “Sorry. I’m just needy…”

She sighed and kept putting the books away, “It’s fine. I told you. I just need warning alright?” He nodded a bit and she gave a small smile.

She finished with the books and looked up again, “Moonjumper I need to move. I have to finish my checklist for Snatcher.”

“Right.” he let go and trailed after her like a lost puppy making her laugh. She stopped and turned with arms open, “Okay come here.”

He gave a small smile as he hugged her properly and rested his head on her shoulder. He squeezed as he felt a tight feeling his chest.

“Amaris…” he spoke lowly, “I… um…” he pulled away and covered his face, “S-Sorry I’m trying to just.. I know I’m just…”

“Moony…” she tilted her head, “are you okay? What’s up with you today? I swear you seem more down…”

“I just… I’m not sure.” he admitted, “lately when I’m around you.. I know my heart doesn’t beat anymore but.” he gripped his shirt, “It hurts and I’m just. I don’t want to leave you alone. It’s not fair Snatcher gets you most of the time! I run this forest too!”

She stared and started to laugh, jolting the former prince.

“Moonjumper.” She put a hand to his chest with a grin, “I think that’s just because you may like me.”

He felt his face heat up in a way he hadn’t thought he could anymore, “L-Like you?”

She nodded, “You sound jealous.” she admitted, “that I spent my time mostly with snatcher. And you don’t want to leave me be.” she giggled, “I was wondering why you’ve been more touchy lately.”

He frowned and covered his face ashamed.

“Moony. Come here.” she smirked.

He leaned down and gasped when she kissed his cheek. He swore he almost felt his heart beating.

He stared at her and reached to hold her face, “C-Can i r-return the..the..”

“Mmhm.” she smiled and closed her eyes as he leaned and kissed her. He couldn’t help smiling as he pulled away. He stared with red eyes as she looked at him with a grin.

“Feel better?” she asked.

“Mmhm.” he tilted his head to kiss her again smiling.

“I swear this is the most I’ve seen you grin! I like it!”

He frowned as he covered his mouth embarrassed.

“Moony~!” She teased and reached to remove his hand, “Show me again!” she gave a huge grin, “Show me Snatcher isn’t the only one with a pretty smile~!”

He stared and started to crackle causing her to jump. He gave her a smile, “how’s this?”

She smirked and gave a grin back, “Good! Handsome!”

He wrapped his arms around her again with a content sigh, “I’m so glad you wandered into our forest…”

“Me too.” she hugged him back happily.
