is chūya ever canonically acknowledged as particularly beautiful (even compared to other good-looking characters)? cos he is so pretty it should be a sin
i imagine 15 year old soukoku in a mission...
their target : mhpf, so what do you want from me, pretty boy?
chuya : we-
dazai : hey what about me?
target, confused : ???
dazai : you called him 'pretty', i am obviously far prettier than him!
target : ...
target, at chuya : what's your mummy friend's problem?
chuya : ...trust me, i've been wondering the very same since the day i met him

3x02 Flint convinces his crew to sail into a storm rather than face deadly battle or accept pardons, and this storm will kill them, and John Silver (the man who no one knows) looks up at Billy Bones and tells him he's afraid. Not of the storm but of the fact that he let Flint into his head when no one is suppose to be there. "He had me there too, and that is not suppose to happen."
John Silver shared a truth that exposed him raw and admitted to everything he'd kept close to his chest, to his methods and motives and fears and weaknesses. Just because he could, and the words were there, and the wind was loud.
Just. Fucking insane over this union that Billy and Silver fall into from time to time, where they converse low and quiet with each other and drop their charades as Silver Tongue and People's Man and allow their iron spines to falter for seconds at a time. And they don't trust one another. But they do allow themselves to move the curtains from their faces so only the other can see what's underneath and they understand what it means, and the worst, best part of it all is that they have no reason to do this with one another, not at all.

Not even exaggerating when I say that the scene in which Namor shows Shuri the city of Talocan for the first time in Wakanda Forever is one of the most beautiful, brilliantly shot pieces of cinema I’ve ever watched

“There’s not only pain, there’s also a mother-daughter relationship: women facing great pain and coming together to solve it for Wakanda, trying to overcome difficulties, move forward and encourage each other. I think it’s wonderful to explore these issues that concern people, especially after the years we’ve just passed. We can use this film to show people that we feel what they feel. We can connect, identify with that. And, hopefully, it can be an avenue for people to express what they feel.”
Letitia Wright talking with Ester Aguado for Woman Madame Figaro about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Photographed by Ramona Rosales.
