Breaking the fourth wall now I see.What would our respective RO'S think if they met their creator? The one and great Sera? Would they hang out with you? Get to know you?

I think most would not be very happy with me for the amount of angst I put them through, lol! :D

Felix/Farah would probably bombard me with questions about how it all works as well as what is to come. And then ask why I do all of this and don't go out and enjoy more experiences, to which I would have to explain how social anxiety works, lol!

Nate/Nat would be fascinated by the process of how it all works, bringing a character from an idea to an actual person…then ask some painfully hard hitting questions about their past and why.

Adam/Ava and Mason/Morgan…I think I'd go into hiding from these two and the rage they'd have for me, hehe!

Sylus did not know how it came to be, but he wasn't someone to be stumped by the unexpected things of life. No, he would handle this situation like he would any other, with calculated strategy and a solid plan.

The unexpected thing was the chubbiest set of cheeks he has ever seen and the constant poking of his chest while hearing his name being butchered by what looked like a child no older than a year.

How was it possible for his name to have so many renditions? He wasn't annoyed but it left him a bit perplexed finding out that he was a fictional character for a mobile game.

It would seem that his newfound awareness was the result of his Evol, having sensed multiple energies that were so different, popping up at random times, especially at the witching hours.

Just one thought is all it took for his consciousness to be awakened. One voice that captivated his attention.

"Come on hun. Mama, thanks you for her phone."

There was that voice again. A stream of giggles followed "ma-ma. I-yus."

"Yes, baba, that's Sylus, and I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate you poking him so much.

He felt himself being moved, and seconds later, he was greeted by a face that left him speechless. Not many things could catch him off guard. This, however, was an exception.

The person in front of him looked exactly like Lyssa, except lavender eyes were replaced with brown. Her hair was in a style of long braids and face round from motherhood.

Even their voices were similar. "Sorry Sylus, I don't know how she got my phone but I'm sure the constant poking would be annoying."

He observed as she held the hyper toddler in her arms, who just kept laughing. "Sy-Sy!"

"Well, that's a new one. Come on, Mama wants to play her game. How about some Bluey?"

That got the toddler more excited.

A catchy theme song filled the air and she returned.

"Finally. I have half an hour to relax before she comes to get me."

Those bright, round eyes made contact with his. A small smile, formed on her lips.

"Morning, Sylus."

He felt his heartbeat speed up just from two simple words.

There was no way he was going to be stuck in a game, not when there was the existence of a world entirely different from his own.

Not when the woman in front of him made something within him stir. There was a connection between them.

No. He needed to research and find answers. This was far from over. For now, he would learn as much as he can about her.

Okay but you can't tell me that no one ever thought of breaking the fourth wall in Merlin fics??? Like I'm not saying have Arthur or one of the knights say "it's not a show MERLIN, this is not funny." Or something of the sort, I mean full on.

let Merlin suddenly spot cameras in the forest while they're on a quest or let Merlin and Arthur have a meaningful conversation and Arthur not being able to communicate with feelings saying something that he didn't mean and someone will shout "that's not your line!" Like how funny would that be? Let me give you an example:

Arthur: Merlin, I think someone is following us.

Merlin: I think so too sire. Wait.. is that? *Moves bushes to reveal camera crew* what the fuck? Who the hell are you?

Director: CUT!! Guys these are not your lines, you're supposed to say "were being followed" que: Morgana and Cenard.

Arthur: WHERE

Director: well they're not here now. We gotta retake it, c'mon.

And the whole event just repeats or something. While Arthur just stares at bushes to find that weird black box they were holding. (It was a camera) Or maybe the scene on S1 E1:

Arthur: I've been training to kill since birth.

Merlin: Woww, and how long have you been training to be a prat?

*pre-recorded audience laugh*

Arthur: where the heck did that come from.

Merlin: no idea bro

Arthur: anyways you can't address me like that.

Merlin: sorry, how long have you been training to be a prat, my lord *bow*

Or every time Uther makes dumbass decisions:

I got bored and decided to draw Rewrite Sonic.

Zayne was puzzled by the dark background of Bree's living room.

He knew where she was by the large cabinet behind her, whose glass doors were reflecting a bit of light from an open window.

Why was she even in the dark? Did she not have an alternative light source? Why power up the game at a time like this? Priorities, woman.

The woman in question was rambling on about her day to someone on the other end of her phone call.

"It just came off for you too?... mmm, no. Could be because of the rain that's pouring right now."

This prompted Zayne to listen more closely. Indeed, the sound of heavy downpour could be heard followed by thunder.

He continued to watch as she moved about the space, gathering a few items. Ears picking up the few colorful words uttered as she stubbed her toe.

"I forgot to move that... yeah, I'm okay, just a bit clumsy... I remember where they were... Now, where's that lighter... yeah, I'll call you tomorrow. I really need to light these candles. Tell mom I said hello... okay, bye."

The call disconnected, and Bree sighed. "It would be nothing short of a miracle if the stupid power company could do without giving the entire town a power outage just because of some heavy rain..."

Zayne raised a brow, now understanding the situation.

"...Zayne, I'm sure you don't have this kind of plight in Linkon."

He couldn't help but smile at her choice of word or the fact that she was talking to him like he could respond.

Well, he could, but the doctor didn't think it would be wise to reveal that he was... 'alive'. At least now so soon.

He watched as she successfully lighted three candles. A look of accomplishment adorned her face.

"Finally! And all it took was a bit of fumbling and a bruised toe."

She turned her attention to him as she repositioned the phone in her hands.

"I'm all yours now, doctor."

Zayne could feel his ears heat up. She was so clueless about the effect her words had on him. Her voice drew him in, captivated his attention, and made him bashful.

"Has anyone ever told you, Green looks good on you? This is by far my favorite outfit."

His ears got hotter. Gods, the compliments got to him the most.

He almost broke character when she unexpectedly ran a finger down the front of his shirt.

"You have no idea how handsome you are. If you were real, I'd never keep my hands off you."

Zayne couldn't take any more, and he crashed the app.

He could hear Bree fretting as she tried to reboot the game, but he refused to let her back in.

A tinge of guilt for his actions appeared, but he didn't have any other option.

He fell back into the chair to catch a breather, rubbing a hand over him chest as he could still feel the sensation of her touch.

A sigh left his lips when she stopped trying to get back in; instead going to prepare for bed.

"I'm usually calm and composed, yet something so simple has me reacting like this."

Zayne pinched the bridge of his nose. He needed a plan, but first

"I need some macaroons."
