Trendy Fashion From The Grammy Awards 2023
Sam Smith and his color-coordinated entourage, which included Unholy partner Kim Petras, drew attention ahead of the main event when they put on a fiery musical performance. Taylor Swift glistened as she arrived in a sequined blue gown that showed off her midriff.
The singer received four nominations for this year’s event, including song of the year for the enlarged, re-recorded version of All Too Well. However, she was unable to win. Harry Styles came in beautifully patterned dungarees with his inkwork on display.
Brandi Carlile was nominated for numerous awards, including album and record of the year. After winning an early award for best rock performance, the suited and booted singer-songwriter reflected on how she had achieved success by defying her mother’s advice.
Bebe Rexha was nominated for best dance/electronic recording for her collaboration with David Guetta; I’m Good (Blue). Despite this, she walked the red carpet in her pink, plunging gown. It was all white for Shaggy, who was nominated for best reggae album for Compton.
Best Moments Of The Grammy Awards 2023
In Los Angeles’ Crypto.com arena, Bad Bunny recreated a Puerto Rican carnival. His mashup of El Apagón and Después De La Playa featured pyrotechnics, scores of dancers, and cabezudos, the “bighead” puppets that march through San Juan every January.
Un Verano Sin Ti, which topped the U.S. charts for 13 weeks last year, earned the best Música Urbana album award. Brandi Carlile performed Americana, while Lizzo performed Special with a gospel twist. She eventually won the record of the year for About Damn Time.
Olivia Newton-John, Irene Cara, David Crosby, and Jeff Beck received heartfelt tributes in the in-memoriam section. Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, and Mick Fleetwood sang Christine McVie’s Songbird, while Kacey Musgraves paid tribute to Loretta Lynn, the “Queen of Country.”
Quavo sang Without You, a song he created after Takeoff’s passing. Celebrating 50 years of hip-hop, almost two dozen rap icons took the stage. Grandmaster Flash’s Flash Was On The Beat, an almost 12-minute medley of hip-best hop hits, opened the concert.
Run-DMC performed Rock The Bells, Public Enemy rapper Yo, Missy Elliot performed Lose Control, and Busta Rhymes performed his high-velocity rhyme from Chris Brown’s Look At Me Now. The Recording Academy gathered hip hop’s biggest names to celebrate 50 years.
The medley featured Blackthought, Run D.M.C., L.L. Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest, D.J. Jazzy Jeff, Salt-n-Pepa, Flava Flav, Ice-T, Queen Latifah, Method Man, Big Boi, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Nelly, GloRilla, and Lil Uzi Vert. Each musician performed fragments of their most memorable songs.
Queen Latifah’s 1993 hit “U.N.I.T.Y”, Nelly’s “Hot in Here,” and Missy Elliot’s “Get Ur Freak On” were among the most memorable performances. The segment was criticized for excluding Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Eve, Trina, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Run-DMC played Rock The Bells, Public Enemy delivered a verse of Yo, Bum Rush The Show, Missy Elliot swept in for Lose Control, and Busta Rhymes gave a show-stopping performance of his high-velocity rap from Chris Brown’s Look At Me Now.
Bidding A Goodbye Words
Overall, the event, Grammy Awards 2023, is an amazing tribute to the music world. We congratulate all the winners and wish all the other nominees Good Luck winning in the coming years. Stay connected for more such trending blogs and articles in the Entertainment Industry.

SHERYL CROW
SHARE
Sheryl Crow’s voice is forever woven into the tapestry of American music. Through her powerhouse solo performances, collaborations with industry icons, and early session musician work, Crow’s influence reverberates through classic 1990s rock, pop, country, folk, blues, and the work of countless singer-songwriters.
Crow got her big break singing backup for Michael Jackson’s Bad world tour in 1987. From there she became a session musician, providing backing vocals for Stevie Wonder, Belinda Carlisle, and Don Henley – while simultaneously writing songs for Celine Dion, Tina Turner, and Wynonna Judd. Signed to A&M as a solo artist, Crow released her 1993 debut album Tuesday Night Music Club – now a revered classic that resulted in three of her nine Grammys, including Best Female Rock Vocal and Record of the Year for “All I Wanna Do.” Crow produced and played several of the instruments on her 1996 self-titled sophomore album, which was another commercial hit and won two additional Grammys. Her success continued into the 2000s with Platinum albums C’mon, C’mon (2002) and Wildflower (2005) and Gold certified Detours (2008).
Throughout her career, Sheryl Crow has collaborated with some of the biggest names in rock and country music – Keith Richards, Prince, Johnny Cash, and Loretta Lynn to name a few – drawing a who’s-who of artists to work on her self-identified final album, 2019’s Threads. The supergroup-level collaborations Crow created between veteran and younger artists culminate in an album that encapsulates her spiritual, political, and musical worldviews. Threads includes the socially conscious “Story of Everything” featuring Chuck D, Andra Day, and Gary Clark, Jr., the rootsy “Prove You Wrong” with Stevie Nicks and Maren Morris, and Eric Clapton, Sting, and Brandi Carlile covering George Harrison’s devotional “Beware of Darkness.”
The vast catalog of this soulful rock superstar earns Sheryl Crow the title given to her by country singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton: “One of the best that we’ve ever had... and may ever have.”
Selected discography:
“All I Wanna Do,” “Strong Enough,” Tuesday Night Music Club (1993)
• “If It Makes You Happy,” “Everyday Is a Winding Road,” “A Change Would Do You Good,” Sheryl Crow (1996)
• “My Favorite Mistake,” The Globe Sessions (1998)
• “Soak Up the Sun,” C’mon, C’mon (2002)
• “The First Cut Is the Deepest,” The Very Best of Sheryl Crow (2003)
• “Easy,” Feels Like Home (2013)
• Threads(2019)

March is Women's History Month and we will soon be celebrating Black Women's History Month, so it's really a perfect time to kick back and unwind to some of your favorite Black women-led shows and movies.
While we watch and relive some of the greatest on-screen moments, it's also important to reflect on the genius of the Black women creators who brought them to us. For generations, Black women worked to shatter barriers in Hollywood so we could see ourselves in living color and beyond.
These iconic pieces of entertainment have filled our cultural storehouses with on-screen representation for decades. going on had to turn it off It s ok the more they talk the more votes we get People are coming to the light side daily They have lost there minds and it keeps getting worse No the lead candidate is a socialist Winning Trump 2020 Claire Fish Yes it is a boo hoo for Democrats because they didnt take the virus seriously They only care about trying to ruin Trump more than the people of this Country Congress voted against closing a part of the border It was the smart thing to do Allicyn Raymond Your the biggest reason I have faith this planet wont capsize into a big ball of fire into space Thank would not politicize the situation As it is they have positioned themselves for victory only as American bodies pile up DISGUSTING Kathy Ream Just saw the demo debate None of them would shut up when their time was done Birney wouldn’t shut up even when it was some one else turn It was a mess up there on stage I can’t imagine ANY of them as President They all have a plan but never say what it is Trump2020 Adam Lindley Dems just throw money at something to fix it Still not working Throw more money at it That s their way Trump doesn t give enough money and they throw him under the bus The democrat way Sandra Bates The dems are trying to use this now as a political tool We know you have a handle on this situation Please keep us informed Some of the media are trying to put fear into America Fake News Really Fake News and definitely biased news to say the least They don’t know how to report real news anymore Your administration is doing a great job Deslor Emberga Vanhees Why will American vote for Democratic they all ready show how they are in 3 years nothing they ve done but to Harass their own President it should be nothing but President Trump 2020 GoD Bless America in Jesus name we trust not the Democrat Atlas Holduup Just registered to vote for trump didnt like the iran situation but other then that hes proven himself worthy of presidency and I swore id never vote until a candidate presented himself worthy of my vote Michael Davis Every Demoncrat is a sore loser Most are clueless to the fact that the globalists want to control their very lives by tyrannical rule Trump is our last hope I for one have confidence in you and your Administration Mr President Also I am fed up with the Dems who would not be happy with any thing you do Thank goodness we the people know them well And if anyone out there is not sure just go look at the behavior of Nancy Pelosi and her dressed in white clan s behavior during our President s SOTU address That behavior Is the worst that I have EVER seen from elected leaders I felt terrible discomfort knowing that that behavior was being seen all over the world Just think about that Let that sink in people please God help this country if THOSE people ever make up the majority of our Leaders Carmelo Consiglio Trumps been cutting funding for the CDC since taking office If there’s not an outbreak in the USA it will be a miracle Hell today he’s trying to put a bunch of patients in a condemned building in the OC instead of a FEMA facility Maxx Alexander It’s ok nobody with a decent brain and a clue has missed the media being completely negative and dishonestly so No better President we could ever ask for than you Especially when times are challenging Christine Ward Roe I think the media isn’t helping by blowing this up in the news remember China delayed by 6 weeks and let the virus spread but the US has acted very quickly to contain it especially by Trump imposing travel restrictions and quarantines otherwise we would look like Italy but the dumbard Dems are upset with the his travel ban what the heck. [TASK 068: METIS]
Shout out to @olivaraofrph for helping compile this task in celebration of Native American Heritage Month! Metis are a distinct group of people separate from Native American or First Nations tribes, as their ancestors were early French and English colonizers who early on mixed with members of Native tribes, mostly Wabanaki, Mi'kmaq, Algonquin, Saulteaux, Cree, Ojibwe, Menominee, or Maliseet but others made their ways too. As Metis evolved, many continued to marry other mixed people, and sometimes other Europeans or Natives, to get to where it is today as a distinct native identity to be Metis. For the most part they reside in Canada, where they are recognized as one of the three groups of Aboriginal people, but to a lesser extent, they live in the US as well. There’s a masterlist below compiled of over 110+ Metis faceclaims categorised by gender with their occupation and ethnicity denoted if there was a reliable source. If you want an extra challenge use random.org to pick a random number! Of course everything listed below are just suggestions and you can pick whichever character or whichever project you desire.
Any questions can be sent here and all tutorials have been linked below the cut for ease of access! REMEMBER to tag your resources with #TASKSWEEKLY and we will reblog them onto the main! This task can be tagged with whatever you want but if you want us to see it please be sure that our tag is the first five tags, @ mention us or send us a messaging linking us to your post!
THE TASK - scroll down for FC’s!
STEP 1: Decide on a FC you wish to create resources for! You can always do more than one but who are you starting with? There are links to masterlists you can use in order to find them and if you want help, just send us a message and we can pick one for you at random!
STEP 2: Pick what you want to create! You can obviously do more than one thing, but what do you want to start off with? Screencaps, RP icons, GIF packs, masterlists, PNG’s, fancasts, alternative FC’s - LITERALLY anything you desire!
STEP 3: Look back on tasks that we have created previously for tutorials on the thing you are creating unless you have whatever it is you are doing mastered - then of course feel free to just get on and do it. :)
STEP 4: Upload and tag with #TASKSWEEKLY! If you didn’t use your own screencaps/images make sure to credit where you got them from as we will not reblog packs which do not credit caps or original gifs from the original maker.

Loretta Lynn ‘Blue Kentucky Girl’ Exhibit Launches in Nashville
Many country artists and industry professionals gathered together in downtown Nashville on Tuesday (August 22) to honor Loretta Lynn and the launch of her “Blue Kentucky Girl” exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame. Though Lynn was not able to attend due to health problems, Margo Price, Brandy Clark, Kacey Musgraves and Patsy Lynn Russell carried the special night along, performing a few of Lynn’s songs and speaking endless kind words about her character and career.
Gorgeous Girls and Kyle ❤️💕❤️💕 Everyone was so gracious. Kacey did an outstanding job with her beautiful speech about Memaw! Brandy is just my favorite. She floored everyone with CoalMiners Daughter and little Margo Price is a spitfire down to earth girl I love-She sang Fist City! #bluekentuckygirl #lorettalynnexhibit #countrymusichalloffame @spaceykacey @thebrandyclark @missmargoprice @patsylynnrussell @peggymarchetti

According to Sounds Like Nashville, Price kicked the night off with Lynn’s spunky song, “Fist City,” and then opened the floor up to Music City Hall of Fame CEO Kyle Young who attested to Lynn’s impact on country music. Moving forward with the night, Musgraves spoke a testimony about Lynn’s character and the inspiration the icon had on her. Clark then stunned the crowd with “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” Lastly, Russell honored her mother with a heartfelt speech.
As quoted in Taste of Country, Russell wrapped her kind words up with, “Nothing’s gonna bring her down. She’s doing so well. My mom doesn’t do anything without doing it a hundred percent. That’s what she believes: if you don’t give it a hundred percent, it’s not worth doing. When she came into this business, she said you have to be first, great or different. I think my mom is kind of all of those things.”
I've watched the movie Coal Miner's Daughter hundreds of times. That movie was what I dreamed being a country music singer and songwriter was. So my little girl self was floored to be a small part of Loretta Lynn's @officialcmhof exhibit opening tonight along with @missmargoprice and @spaceykacey Thank you @patsylynnrussell @taylalynnfinger and the rest of the Lynn family and THANK God for trailblazers like @lorettalynnofficial ❤️ #coalminersdaughter #countrymusichalloffame @miles_aubrey @vanessamcgowan

The Country Music Hall of Fame describes the exhibit by saying, “Examining the Coal Miner’s Daughter through her music and her rich collection of personal artifacts will provide fresh insights into one of country music’s most important artists.” Lynn is quoted in the exhibit description with extreme excitement, “I am so happy the Country Music Hall of Fame has asked me to be one of their main exhibits in 2017... gonna show off my 50 some odd years in country music… They best have a big space... I have a lot of stuff! I'm so proud to share my life, and music with the Hall of Fame.”
We had a great time last night celebrating @LorettaLynnOfficial and her new exhibit "Blue Kentucky Girl" with @TheBrandyClark, @SpaceyKacey, and @MissMargoPrice! Only 2 more days until the exhibit is officially open, so make your plans! #cmhof50
